It was early in the morning after the massive assault on New Vegeta; after Leke had come home to find the palace being destroyed; after Celeh and the youngest prince were nearly killed by first a shapeshifting assassin, and then by a massive explosion in the palace; after Leke had first begun training with weights. It wasn't an easy transition, and he was still getting used to it before he finally went to bed, but he had gotten the hang of it quickly. He was a Saiyan royal, after all.
Still, Leke needed more. He was too weak, far weaker than his brother, sister, Nasu, Zeke, and the list goes on. That was clear at the War Council. H.F.I.L., he was about as strong as Akassa's bodyguard, Celeh! That was a travesty that normally Leke would not be bothered by, honestly, because he wasn't as big on fighting as they were, but now, after having almost failed to defend his home, his planet, and his people, the prince had a reason to be livid and hungry for more power. That was why Leke was on his way, at the break of dawn when most would still be asleep on the Moon besides military personnel, to visit his sister - really, technically she was a half-sister but she was almost closer to him than Ninjin was honestly. She was family to him.
Akassa; the only half-Saiyan allowed in the Royal halls. Nasu, who claimed to be his older half-brother and was also half-Saiyan, was exiled. She was far past what Leke could ever hope to achieve, from what Leke believed to be training from before the tournament, where she was already at what Leke's strength was now, and the extra tournament fighting, the extra time she had before Leke returned home, and a Zenkai gain from fighting who they referred to as Aer Nin. One of the most vital traits of the Saiyan race was the ability to vastly grow in power from being nearly killed. Legend tells that the most powerful of Saiyans abused this power at times, though that was over a millennia ago, so nobody could really know. Then there was that other thing: the famed Super Saiyan trait. Legend also told one in a million Saiyans could ever hope to become one, and had shown there to be many at one point at a crucial point in Earth's - and the Saiyan race's - history. If there were ever to be a Super Saiyan again, Leke honestly believed it would be his brother and/or sister. Their power simply accelerated at unbelievable rates - they had already surpassed the King's standing power level, though he believed them to be nowhere near what the King had once shown to the children. It was frightening what power he possessed. He had just been a small child then, but he couldn't even fathom what it could be in numerical system. It was far beyond what Akassa and Ninjin were now, though. Speaking of Ninjin, he hadn't even seen him, or Celeh for that matter, since the day before. It was quite odd. Before the tournament, Ninjin and Leke spent time together. What changed?
Leke pressed on. He knew he wouldn't be much of competition for his sister, but at least they could both train alongside one another. And talk. They hadn't spoken much since before the Galactic tournament. This would give them both a chance to get it all out and train at the same time. He had even heard a rumor that she had a gravity chamber installed next to her bedroom for training. Leke had never been in one, but he was eager to try it out.
With his weights on, Leke knocked hard on the door to Akassa's room. Hopefully, she would be as eager to get stronger as he was. And hopefully she wouldn't think so little of him after all that had happened.

It was early; the sun barely making its way up far off in the distance, but Akassa was already awake. She had been up for hours actually, her morning routine more extensive than many might think. The recent assault on New Vegeta had not altered the fundamentals of her life, the Princess still choosing to rise early just as she had before. It took her some time to get ready, the female wanting her appearance to be presentable. While the recent events had not altered some of the more basic elements of her life, it had changed her. The differences ran deeper than the artificial arm that now hung from her left shoulder, many of them on a psychological level. Strangely enough she had lost less than Ninjin and many others, but it had been hard for the Princess to handle her injury, never mind the wound her pride had received as a result.
Before all of this Akassa had always been quite calm, able to keep in check the emotions she usually had to repress for the sake of her family. Never before the war council had she spoken like she did in the presence of her father, lost her temper to such a level. Sure she had said regretful words during her fight with Ninjin in the Galactic Tournament, but that had been during combat and for the most part had been excused. The anger inside of the eldest Hattori child was boiling over as of late, all the humiliations and disrespect she had suffered in recent months putting her on edge. She needed some way to vent all the pent up rage and the counter attack on the Universal Church of One was going to be the perfect outlet.
Glancing up at the hole that was still in the ceiling of her room Akassa snorts some, just another thing to pay the church back for. Turning her attention back to the mirror of the vanity at which she sat the Princess tucks the last of her hair up against her head, pinning it in place. Dressed in just her boots, pants and tank top she was finally ready, only needing to grab her weighted jacket. No sooner was she done with her preparations for the day than a hard knock came at her door. Having been focused on what she was doing and with other thoughts crowding her mind, she had not noticed the individuals approach. Focusing for a moment she could tell it was Leke, Akassa instantly curious as to why the young Prince had come to visit her so early. She figured it was one of two things…to seek advice about the recent events or get her opinion on what she thought was to come. So soon after the attack on New Vegeta she didn’t expect his true intentions were to train with her, grow stronger so that he could better protect those in need. Of course not expecting that was a fault on her, he was a Hattori after all.
”Come in Leke, the door is not locked.” Remaining seated on the the bench that sat before the vanity Akassa looks herself over once more in the mirror, always wanting every hair to be in place before heading out for the day, her eyes lingering on her metal are for a moment. As he enters the room her eyes would shift to look back at him, using the reflective glass to meet his eyes as he enters.

Waiting outside his half-sister’s room, Leke began to think even more. He had been inside very few times, and they were always brief. He had never really talked to Akassa that much before. Ninjin made much more effort to hang out with his younger brother than Akassa had in the past, before the tournament. Now whether that was by choice or the fact that she was busy, Leke didn’t know, but he had never really put much thought into it. Despite going on Royal missions with his sister and speaking to her, he really didn’t know her as a person that much. Not helping that was the fact that they hadn’t spoken at all since the tournament, and Leke himself had changed almost radically after it. The same could be expected from his sister, especially from the loss of her arm and the near destruction of her home. She and Ninjin both seemed much different at the War Council, though the stress from the attack certainly didn’t help that.
Today he would bridge the gap between them while training, Leke decided. Now more than ever, the Hattori family needed to stick together. Despite his differing views from the rest of the family, he wanted to be closer than ever to them, while their lives were at stake in this conflict in the church. Maybe it was his young age showing, his immaturity as a man, or maybe it was just a natural instinct.
Regardless, when Akassa spoke out to Leke, he smiled and opened the door, then stepped into the room. Immediately, the teenager saw what all had happened to his sister’s room – the roof was all but gone! The kids were lucky that the living quarters were separated from the rest of the castle and could still sleep in somewhat-normal rooms, but Akassa’s room seemed to be the worst of the two at least.
Akassa was looking at her younger brother through a mirror on a vanity, herself sitting on a bench. Leke smiled back at through the mirror and then walked forward to come into full vision of his sister. She was dressed in simple clothes: a tank top, pants, and boots, though she also had on a bulky jacket, likely weighted. Leke himself wore his usual attire minus his armor, but had on his weights on.
His eyes briefly drifted to her metallic arm, but not wanting to stare, immediately flickered back to her face. It had to be killing her that she had lost her own natural one against that damned Aer Nin. Leke gulped and walked closer to her, leaning against the wall only a few feet from Akassa.
”Hey,” was all he could think of to start the conversation. He mentally smacked himself in the face. He didn’t even think of what to say in the trip over here! ”Uh, I wanted to talk to you. More than that actually, but, I want to first apologize. For everything during the tournament and afterwards. It feels like forever ago us three and Celeh were in that thing…” He had to let out a half-hearted chuckle. It was hard to be optimistic as he usually was, but he had to at least try to be. His sister didn’t look so happy – understandable, given the circumstances.
”When I woke up and found out what happened to me, I couldn’t help myself. I lost control. I needed time to myself and I think I found a new drive. I’m just angry that I couldn’t be here from the start, maybe I could’ve helped you guys or father...” Leke’s fist clenched as he grew more frustrated.
”I want to turn over a new leaf after what happened. We’re going to have to rebuild our city, our castle, and really the hopes of every Saiyan alive after that attack. I wasn’t strong enough to help more and I’ll..” Leke closed his eyes and took a deep breathe before reopening them and continuing. ”I’ll be damned if the Church or anybody else is going to ever try something like that again. I want to train harder than physically possible, because the next time somebody tries some shit like that, I want to personally ensure their destruction. Nobody fucks with the Saiyans, the Hattoris, and lives to tell the tale.” It was clear by not only the ferocity and the tone of his voice, but also simply by his choice of words how serious Leke was. The lives of Saiyans had been taken by the thousands. This Church, whoever was responsible, each one of them would pay in kind. This was unlike Leke had ever spoken around any of his family before. He was fourteen, and acted as such – he kept his words in check and his feelings usually were not as evident. But now, in the wake of what all the Church had done to them, to him, he had to release it. Akassa was just on the receiving end of his rant.
”I want your help, sister. I know you’re much stronger than me. You could beat me senseless without too much effort. But I still have to try to get to be the best I possibly can be before a next threat approaches. If they come back, I want them on their heels as soon as they show their faces. I think you feel the same way as well.” A fire burned in Leke’s heart and eyes as he stood in front of Akassa in her room. A determination showed in him that she possibly could have never seen before.
”Train with me, the best way possible. Father, after the tournament, finally let me use weights for my training, but I just last night got them from my room. I know about your gravity chamber. We could use that, Kass, and get even stronger! If we get a chance to defend or strike against that damned Church I want the Hattori clan to be unstoppable. We barely survived this past time. There may not be one if they have even stronger reserves. “ Leke stopped and took a few deep breaths, looking still determined at his sister. Hopefully she would agree to his offer, and they would be able to get the best training of their lives in today. Yesterday showed something to Leke he had never thought before – his own mortality. He wanted to never be shown that or his people’s lives to be at stake again.

Watching Leke cross her room through the mirror the Princess turns to meet him as he comes along side her. The observant female did not miss the slight drifting of his eyes as they took in her artificial arm, the white limb standing out against the rest of her body. She needed to get used to people looking to it first, it was not likely something that was going to stop anytime soon. In time the others might get used to the change, but even then it would probably draw unwanted attention. Leke, her brother was one of those that would not draw her wrath for looking at the arm, while others she knew less and respected less might earn themselves a sharp slap across the face.
As he propped himself against the wall Akassa crosses her right leg over her left, both hands resting a top the highest knee as she keeps her calm stare on him. Sitting up straight she looked every bit the proper Princess she was suppose to be, the royal etiquette upheld as long as her temperament remained positive. His awkward “Hey” had a half smile creeping onto her lips, the older of the two Hattori’s finding his hesitation to speak a little amusing. Leke was confident when it mattered, but admittedly he seemed almost shy around her, perhaps it was her fault for not getting to know him better when he was younger. Still he was her brother, higher ranking brother to be exact, so she would always listen. Family came first for Akassa.
Listening Akassa let him get what it was he wanted off of his chest without interruption, the Princess preferring to take in everything that was said to her before formulating response. His apology made sense, although it wasn’t due to her, she felt very similar in her failure to properly defend her home. The Universal Church of One had caught them flatfooted and the result had been heavy damages to their beloved city, thousands of lives lost and the royal palace a pile of rubble. The first part of his small speech was the Leke she knew, the young and guilty warrior that she had seen before, always unintentionally in the shadow of Ninjin…just as she was.
The next part was not the same hot headed Hattori that had come bursting into the royal hall demanding that he be allowed to join the Galactic Tournament as well. No, the passion that filled his words was not what she was used to through the limited interactions they had in recent years. It was a small reminder that the attack on New Vegeta had affected everyone in the family, not just her. The profanity had her blinking a little, the Princess not much for the use of such words and surprised to hear him use them. Despite what she felt were unnecessary words she was proud of the fire behind him, her brother sounding more like a Hattori than he ever had before.
When he asked if the two of them could use her gravity chamber to train together, something they had not done since before the Galactic Tournament the soft smile she had been wearing curls into a smirk. Akassa loved to fight, something both her brothers were well aware of, so if Leke wanted to get stronger she would not hesitate to test him. Eyes still looking into his she slowly uncrosses her legs and rises to her feet, tail swaying anxiously behind her.
”Trust me Leke, we are the same in our regrets to properly defend New Vegeta. If it had not been for Ninjin I would have lost far more than my arm against Aer Nin. However, the Church made a grave mistake when they failed to complete their mission. When we find this home world of theirs I promise you I will make sure nothing remains when I am done with it.” There was equal passion in her calmer tone despite the gravity of her statement. Leke should not be surprised though, he was at the war council and he knew his sister lacked a solid sense of humor so everything she had said, she had meant. When they found where it was the Church had come from she planned to obliterate it.
”Come with me; we shall further prepare ourselves for what is to come.” Turning from him Akassa heads towards her gravity chamber, scooping up her jacket on the way. Throwing the weighted clothing on her power would immediately be suppressed…but not to the level Leke might expect. His sister was growing stronger and the weights grew lighter, the weight of the jacket barely noticed by her thin frame. Leading him through the lounge that they had just been in she takes him into her bedroom, that room having been saved from any damage during the attack. It provided her with a comfortable place to sleep and most importantly of all the gravity chamber attached to had survived unscathed. Quickly entering the key code to the chamber the door would hiss open as Akassa steps into the vast room beyond.

After his long monologue, Leke sat in silence waiting for her answer. In hindsight, he could've been heavily reprimanded for going off on her like that. The language was completely out of line, and although he was technically Akassa's superior, who could tell her off for giving him a good smack across the face for what he said? Then again, it was not directed at her, so maybe she would let him off the hook.
Her entire being stayed calm the entire time. She's changed a lot... Leke thought as she carefully stood up. She used to be the fiery one. Leke gulped, fearing what she would do or say, but was instead relieved when she put her bit in and stayed calm. He grinned widely, almost comically like the fourteen-year-old used to do quite often. She agreed! Completely missing the part about destroying their entire home world, Leke was esctatic about training once again with his half-sister. He hadn't done so in what felt like an eternity... Thinking back, it didn't turn out too great for the younger Hattori's body, but he gained a lot of knowledge and power from it, so it ended up being worth it after the fact.
Leke knew he had no chance. If she tried, she would destroy him in a fight. He could sense that even after her power took a drop from her weighted vest. The youngster, wise beyond his years, also knew that he could possibly take her without his weights, but then he probably would not benefit as much. The gravity would also take some getting used to, so he would have some training with her before they fought.
He followed close behind her, quickly scanning her bedroom out of habit as they passed through it, though not really paying much attention, and entered the vast, mostly empty chamber in the next door. There wasn't much to say about it. It was a room, an immensely large room, but devoid of color and much else. Leke turned back to Akassa inquisitively.
"Alrighty... So how do we get started?" He was referring to, of course, the gravity. He was already bogged down by his weights, though Akassa seemed much less hindered than he was - he estimated about a 1/4 drop in her power once she put on the weights. Himself, he saw probably half of his power cut - he was far weaker than her, though. The gravity would only hinder them both more, though again, Akassa less because of her experience. This was going to be so much... Fun...

Once inside the gravity chamber Akassa turns to regard her brother again, his anxiousness obvious in his question. She herself had trained numerous times with increased gravity, but as far as she knew this was something completely new to him. First off she planned to let him get used to the lowest setting, x5 so that he could handle himself without stumbling too much. With her strength so much higher than his she knew it would be hard for him to keep up with her, even without the increased force on his body slowing him down. Stretching some, not having done much physical activity just yet Akassa addresses the AI of her simulator.
”Resolute, my brother and I wish to train. Please increase the gravity to five times that of normal for now.” Leke had also not met the artificial intelligence that had been installed into the chamber, the feminine voice that came from the hidden speakers perhaps a surprise to him.
“Welcome Leke Hattori, I know much about you so it is a pleasure to finally make your acquaintance.”
Of course the computer didn’t actually know him, but it had been programmed with countless files on numerous individuals, her family and friends being just a small few of them. The polite greeting was also programmed into the advanced machine, the system designed to learn and adapt so that it could make the training experience of its users as pleasant as possible. In a sense Resolute had a personality of its own, but of course not in the same way as Leke and Akassa.
“Increasing gravity to five times that of normal.”
As the statement finished Leke would feel the increase in the force pulling down on his weighted form. For her part Akassa doesn’t even budge as the gravity intensifies, even with the added weights of her training clothes. The Princess had already conditioned her body to handle up to 35 times the normal so this small increase was barely noticeable to her. She knew it would not be the same for him though, making no move to attack him as she waited for his body to adjust to the new gravity setting. Akassa figured by the end of this he was going to be exhausted just like she had been the first time. Increased gravity of only five times the normal rate may not seem like a substantial amount, but when your body was constantly straining to resist it the force defiantly took a toll on your body.
”Take your time getting used to it Leke, we can move forward whenever you feel you are ready. Actually…I am going to attempt something while you adjust.” Letting him deal with the increased gravity Akassa closes her eyes so she can further concentrate.

Anxious as he was, the waiting killed Leke. He could only think until she started up the gravity chamber. And this led him to think of their future fight. He wanted to get something in before they fought, just because he thought it would be over really quick. Akassa never really went easy on him, even when he was just a child first learning how to fight. She was never one to hold back on anything. Worry crossed his mind before she spoke aloud.
”Resolute, my brother and I wish to train. Please increase the gravity to five times that of normal for now.” Leke looked around, looking for somebody for Akassa to be referring to. It wasn't until he heard another voice after seeing the room was vacant bar them that it clicked who it was.
“Welcome Leke Hattori, I know much about you so it is a pleasure to finally make your acquaintance.” The sudden response made Leke jump a little, though in surprise, not fear. It made sense now. An artificial intelligence, apparently named Resolute. The name fits, at least, Leke thought. The slightly robotic, feminine voice was friendly, somewhat soothing. Not what he expected at all.
"The pleasure is mine, I think, if you get the gravity on," Leke replied to the AI, though he wasn't sure it really heard him. The previous speech may have been some kind of prerecorded response to whatever name his signature belonged to.
“Increasing gravity to five times that of normal.” Leke grinned, thinking it would turn it on and he would just have to adjust a little bit. The weights aren't that bad. They're well over five times my own weight. This should be a-
Before he could finish his thought, Leke was slammed to the ground, though he barely caught himself with his hands and knees. His grin quickly turned into a grimace, every muscle and sinew in his body working overtime just to keep him from being sucked down to the metallic tile floor. This was insane! What Leke had forgotten was that the weights also dragged five times their own weight, so not only was his weight multiplied, so was his weights. The result? The much-younger Hattori sibling barely being able to keep on his hands and knees.
The fourteen-year-old also found it a little hard to breathe. It took him a few moments to catch his breath. Every part of his body ached from just a minute in the increased gravity. Leke closed his eyes, gathering his ki about him, which also seemed to move a little slow strangely enough, before reopening them and releasing his power. Almost as soon as he did so, revealing his full power, he found himself struggling much less to maintain his position and his breathing was much less of a heave.
Leke forced his head and eyes up to look at Akassa. She was simply stretching, looking like it bothered her little. He thought it would at least have some effect on her, but perhaps she trained in much higher gravity than this. She was a beast, making Leke a... Kitten. He almost laughed at the analogy, which was depressingly fitting given the circumstances.
Alright, Leke. Get up, you're a Saiyan. A Hattori. You can't save anybody right now. Leke's muscles all contracted as he put forth all of his effort into dragging one foot up, slowly getting up and bringing the other foot up as well. It took an emmense amount of effort to drag himself to a standing position, but he did. Already feeling the strain and sweat, Leke again looks back at his sister, no doubt finding this amusing to watch.
Interestingly enough though, she had her eyes closed. Leke wasn't paying attention earlier, being too focused on the sound of his own heartbeat throbbing in his head, but he vaguely remembered her saying something about him taking time. Probably to adjust to this intensity. How Leke would even be able to function properly, let alone fight in this would remain to be seen.
Leke was barely able to stand at his full power. This was ridiculous. It felt much worse than when he had the weights on before, because he had five times the already-multiplied strain on his body. At least he didn't break from the pressure. Bodies could only handle so much.
Over the next few minutes, Leke found it increasingly easier to function and stand. His muscles slowly adjusted to the increased effort they had to put out. He tentatively but forcefully lifted one leg and pushed forward a foot. He then brought his other leg forward another foot beyond the first. Sweat beading down his face, Leke slowly began to learn how to walk for the second time in two days. His breathing became labored once more as he stepped further and further, faster and faster, until he was able to walk at a normal pace, albeit strenuously.
What seemed like an eternity for the heavily weighed-down Leke was actually only about ten minutes. Time seemed to slow down as much as his body did. The prince took a glance back at his sister, still in some kind of meditation state. That's good, so I really can take all the time I need... And boy do I need it, the teenager thought to himself as he paced around, slowing gaining in speed and confidence, and reducing effort. His body was finally starting to warm up to the idea of this gravity, though having experienced a similar feeling the day before might have helped as well. It adjusted much faster today than it did yesterday, even with the ridiculous amount of weight it added this time.
Leke steadied himself, crouching slightly as he built up power into his legs. He attempted to jump, launching himself upward... And came crashing back down only a split moment later. Leke would've fallen flat on his face if he had not gone straight up. With a heavy thud! Leke's boots collided with the ground, shaking the room slightly and probably disturbing Akassa a bit. Leke winced a little, not from pain but in some embarassment.
I need to put in my full power, Leke knew, so he again readied himself, but this time allowed his ki to build up and release, flaring about him in a raging red-and-gold inferno. Gathering all of his strength, the prince clenched his teeth and flexed his muscles before blasting upward with all of his leg muscle and energy, disregarding the gravity and shooting all of the way up to the ceiling.
Leke's mistake was slowing down. He had never flown or jumped with increased gravity, so he did not quite understand the physics. It would naturally slow him down, so when he dropped his power to only touch the ceiling instead of smashing into it, he sunk down like a rock. Aware of his surroundings, Leke immediately shot energy out from his feet, noticing now even his flying was extremely strenuous, to avoid crashing down on the floor again.
Learning from his mistake, the youngster slowly drifted his energy, calmly lowering himself down to the ground. He grinned and tossed forward a few punches and kicks. They were ridiculously slow. He needed more time. Looking back at Akassa once more, she was still just doing whatever she was. She was oddly patient today. Leke took a few deep breaths, glad now that his lungs functioned normally so that he could get a real breather, and wiped the sweat from his face with his arm.
"I need a little bit more time. This is... Ridiculous," the prince said to his much older half-sister. His fists clenched, remembering his previous words, his sudden burst of inspiration. His eyebrows furrowed and he clenched his teeth as he released his ki again in an aura around him. "But not too much for a Saiyan. For a Hattori." Leke then began again, only having a few moments of rest for those small comments before throwing more punches, kicks, and sweeps, each one taking less effort than the rest. His next test would be to get his flying down...

While Leke struggled to deal with the increased gravity Akassa was in her own little world, concentrating as he moved about the chamber. His assumption was that she was meditating or in some similar state, but that was far from the truth. His older sister was focusing, trying to clear her mind and focus on the task at hand. There was little the Princess could not do if she set her mind to it, the sharp female a quick learner and rather intelligent despite her lack of elaborate formal schooling. Having her eyes closed only helped to block out the area around her, Leke’s grunting and shadow boxing not able to distract her.
As of late Akassa had grown stronger than she had ever been, passing even Ninjin and her Father in terms of base strength. With her new found power she had begun to learn a whole new level of attacks, wanting to improve her arsenal so that she was the best fighter she could be. Just because she was not going on the mission with Ninjin and Celeh had been no reason to cut back on her training. The two Saiyan’s that now tracked the Namekian would no doubt experience combat on their travels, and come back stronger for it. Even so she planned to surpass them upon their return, wanting to prove she was the strongest of the Hattori children and strongest member of the Saiyan military. Still, all her power had proven to have one drawback…it was much harder for her to train with others, her overwhelming strength making spars end in short order. Leke was far stronger than the average Saiyan soldier and even he would not stand a chance against her if they were to both wear their weighted clothing. On top of it such short, uneven fights were far from efficient for the Princess if she wished to grow more powerful. This issue had her going down a path she never thought she would, mastering the ability of Ki suppression.
For the most part she felt the technique was cowardly, the proud warrior never seeing a reason she might want to suppress and hide her power. Of course she understood it could be used for stealth purposed, but her mind set was if you were strong enough that no one could stop you…then why did you need to sneak anywhere? The more she thought about it though Akassa saw potential in the technique when it came to training. If she was able to match her power to her opponents, the result would be a better session for both.
Hearing Leke address her she gives the slightest of nods, wanting more time herself. With him confident in his ability to master the gravity increase soon and setting back to work, she gets to work as well. Reaching out with her mind to sense her own signature just like she could anyone else’s, Akassa focuses on it. Hovering right around 81,000 the Princess knew her base power was slightly suppressed by the weighted jacket she wore, but it was not enough to make her even with her younger brother. Keeping her mind focused on the signature still she starts to reduce her bodies Ki output.
Breathing steadily she cuts back on how much energy she naturally puts out, slowly starting to lower her own power. It ticked down at a slow pace first, but as she got a grasp on it the process began to speed up. Mentally it was not hard to focus on the task, but physically she felt her body resisting the restriction of its power, the feeling not feeling natural. Still she continued though, all the way until her signature hovered at just about 40,000. Taking a deep breath she “locks” her power in at that level, leaving Leke barely within 80% of her signature since she still wanted to make this hard for him. Taking a moment to make sure her signature did not waver Akassa slowly opens her eyes. Rolling her shoulders she slowly turns to face Leke, ready to begin when he was.

While his half sister was busy focusing in silence, Leke was huffing and puffing his way through trying to assimilate his body to the multiplied weight added to his body. He could do basic actions, and even fight on the ground, with relative ease now, just with extra effort. It took him a few more minutes to get down having to fly.
At first, the prince had jumped and tried to use his ki to keep him afloat, but he found that it wasn't enough, and needed to expel much more energy than he had previously thought. The energy that he used to expel to shoot himself forward at high speeds now only carried him at a jogging pace. Using his full power, the full-blooded prince took every chance he could to get used to being slower as he gradually increased his power and speed output.
Not long after Akassa had successfully lowered her power level in about half, still quite a bit higher than Leke's own, Leke had gotten down flying to where, if he put his mind to it, he could move around as he could before. It just drained him. He was already drenched in sweat and they had not even started fighting. The prince knew he would feel this tomorrow, but pushed aside those thoughts. He needed to focus on the here and now: fighting his half-sister, who now sat within reach of his power. He knew he could actually inflict damage now, though he was a bit mystified as to how she managed to lower herself to much-closer to his level.
He cracked his knuckles and assumed a neutral stance, ready to burst in any direction from where Akassa would attack from. She looked ready to go now. Leke Hattori softly, but determinedly, said, "Ladies first, sister." Leke managed a smirk, remembering his manners at such a time like this.

With her power level holding at right around 40,000 Akassa was ready, calm and controlled as she kept her power level suppressed to a state that Leke could match. Turning slightly to eye her younger brother, after he had finally come to a stop, she smirks some as she notices the sweat already running down his face. She had almost forgotten that this increased gravity setting was completely knew to him, the Princess remembering well the strain it had put on her own body when she had first tried the chamber. Now at a much higher gravity setting than this Akassa barely noticed the increased gravity. Her lower power level did make it a little challenging, but for the most part the Princess was used to it. Looking at the young Prince, his comment only made her smirk wider.
”Ladies first is it? How polite of you Leke…although I hope you would never grant a female opponent such a liberty in a real combat scenario.” Never one to hesitate when it came to combat Akassa accepts his offer. Rolling her neck once she bursts into action. The Princess’ powerful legs kick off the floor of the gravity chamber to launch herself into the air. Aiding her jump with her bukujutsu Akassa flips in the air as she nears her brother, right fist coming forward to aim a straight punch at his armored chest. It was a direct and easily readable attack, but she simply did not care. Leke knew well that his older sister was an up close and personal fighter, not afraid to endanger her own body if she could land a blow in exchange. Besides, she wanted to see how fast he could react with the increased force that was pulling down on his weighted form.
Over the years Akassa and Leke had sparred little, spent little time with each other in fact. The lack of interaction between the two was simply due to busy schedules, Akassa always out performing duties for the crown while Leke did the same with a mix of training exercises as well. Before the tournament had been one of the few times the two siblings had squared off against each other and although the match had been a little short lived, Akassa too strong for Leke, but he had proven to be a capable warrior. More recently he had teams up with Celeh on the fly to defeat the Namekian that had attacked with the rest of the Universal Church of One. The two fighters had held their own against a stronger foe and from what the reports said neither had shown any fear, exactly what Akassa had expected from both of them. The Church…the very thought of it put the Princess on edge. She had been on edge for the past couple of days; this training session was hopefully going to calm her nerves. It was time to see what Leke had learned since the last time.

Leke studied his half-sister's actions carefully, but they were few. She wasn't much for advanced tactics or showy attacks. She preferred frontal assaults, something he had learned well from watching her fights and sparring with her in the past. The most recent time came before the tournament, and it had ended in Leke being knocked unconscious. Hopefully, this match would result in a different result.
She rolled her neck and sprang into action, launching herself at the Prince. Already prepared for her seemingly basic attack, Leke shifted his weight to the left and thrust out with his ki to the right, spinning his body to the left to narrowly avoid Akassa barreling into him with an outstretched arm. Leke would then, as fast as he could, though he was slower than Akassa by a good bit, plant his right leg and swing his body around, bringing his left leg to try and kick his half-sister further away from him just as she passed him.
If Leke played defensive, instead of offensive as he had in the previous match, he could react to her moves, instead of having her react to him. Keeping her at a distance was best, he had found. Her frontal attacks were devastating, but had to be close in range to complete. She was well-versed in energy attacks as well, but she was particularly strong with her close combat. If Leke had any hope of winning this match, or even having a draw, he would have to keep her off-balance and out of her comfort zone.

Leke had learned from their last fight. Akassa’s fist hit nothing but air as she swung for the center of his chest, the younger Hattori pivoting wonderfully to the side in order to avoid her first attack. Beyond reacting to her own strike Leke launched his own counter attack as well. With her momentum still carrying her forwards another half a step she feels his leg slam into the center of her back. At this suppressed power level she was almost level with him, the blow having more than enough behind it for the Princess to feel it. Launched forward Akassa is taken from her feet, the female fast enough to put her left hand down and spring off of the floor to flip and land on her feet. Back still facing her youngest brother she glances at him over her shoulder, a wide smirk on her face. This was going to be fun indeed; a fight would distract her from everything that had been on her mind as of late.
From the same position, facing away from Leke, Akassa launches herself backwards through the air. Twisting in the air similarly to how he just had her right leg comes around in attempt to catch Leke across the jaw. Barely within range as her leg comes around the attack was more of a lead in for the rest of her strikes, the Princess landing deftly on her left foot before lunging for her brother anew. Right fist swinging in the appendage is quickly covered in silver Ki as she forms a Ha-Ken over her right forearm. The Ki gauntlet strikes hard for his chest, the left soon following in similar fashion. Not committing as much to these attacks she sends in a flurry of blows towards him, even mixing in kicks as she looks to test out how much his combat prowess has grown.
While Leke wanted to keep his sister away from him the Princess wanted to remain as close as possible. Both of them were aware how effective she could be in close combat, and while she was not useless at long range, her techniques tended to focus on being up close and personal. The last time they had sparred before the tournament had been in preparation for competitive matches. This time the two had just survived a devastating attack on their home, Akassa feeling more dedicated to this fight than the last. All of them needed to grow stronger, stronger in case they were to be attacked again. With her power Akassa planned to wipe out the Universal Church of One or any other organizations that threatened her home. The thought of her home being attacked a second time causes her brow to furry as she continues her onslaught against him.

Leke grinned as he felt his leg connect with Akassa's back, sending her away from him for a short while and giving her a good hit, all the while avoiding her own first strike. So far, so good, the prince thought to himself. Almost immediately after she landed on the ground away from him and after flashing a grin of her own at him, she spun around at an amazing speed despite the gravity and weights holding her down and swung her right leg around.
The fourteen-year-old barely had enough time to dodge the kick, the boot coming an inch or two away from his head as he leaned back, but he was off-balance for the next attacks. Leke could do little but try to parry off as many of the ensuing punches and kicks as he could. Akassa had succeeded in getting past his guard, striking him in his torso, arms, and legs as the younger sibling did all that he could to at least reduce as much of the damage as he was taking. His body ached already from exhaustion, but now it ached with numbing pain. Even at her lowered power, she was still a force to be reckoned with.
Leke could not give up, though. He gritted his teeth in pure determination, gathering his ki within himself as he struggled to keep on his feet. Leke refused to play her game. Although he could not match his half-sister in raw fighting strength or speed, he could hope to match her in wits and ingenuity. Crossing his arms in an X to take the brunt of the force of one Ha-Ken hardened punch, Leke lets loose his ki all around him in the form of an energy barrier, to give himself some space. The formed ki dome would be about a foot away from Leke's reach and would definitely stop Akassa's attacks for at least a little bit, if not push her back. He hadn't used it against physical attacks before, but it should have the same concept as an energy attack, right? That's what Leke hoped anyways.
After giving himself some breathing room but also concentrating hard on keeping the shield up around him, Leke took few deep breaths. He had been drained from the workout prior and was definitely feeling it now. The prince was already at a disadvantage in power, though not by an unsurmountable amount, and speed, but he was also more tired. He'd have to think of ways to conserve his power. Leke knew that he couldn't rely on his energy barrier much more in this fight, but he kept it up for now to catch his breath.
"Sister," he said, in the lull in the fight. He now remembered what his father had said in the council, about destroying the planet of the Church. Akassa had also said something earlier about ensuring there would be nothing left of the Church. Though Leke was determined to bring those responsible for the attack to justice, and to end evil there and everywhere else, he still had his own reservations. "Do we really have to destroy the Church's planet? I know they're evil, and they will pay for what they did, but... What if some of them are innocent? They have to have some sort of civillian populace..." Leke then dropped his shields, knowing Akassa would not attack while they were talking and not wanting to take any more energy out of him.
"They could be forced to follow them against their wills. What if there are people like that there, Akassa? We can't possibly kill them, too. Blowing up the planet... We wouldn't know if there are people there that deserve salvation or not." Leke looked at his sister; they were supposed to be training, but this was also a rare time for them to talk. This was an important issue, too. In his alone time, Leke thought a lot about what the Saiyans had to do to get back at the Church. Never once did the youngest prince think that the utter destruction of everybody and every living thing on the planet was a good choice.

Akassa struck at him almost like a savage, the fiery Princess always relying on her overly aggressive fighting style to gain the upper hand. Pressing her Ha-Ken enhanced attacks she could tell Leke was struggling to match her speed as the gravity pulled down on his weighted form. This level of force was nothing to her, far below what she had conditioned herself to and easy for her muscles to handle. The two of them were of the same bloodline and both possessed the same potential in their genes, but Akassa had spent much longer reaching for that potential. For close to two decades the Princess had trained rigorously with the goal of becoming stronger while Leke had only a single decade under his belt. She was by far the more experienced of the two and it was starting to show as her strikes began to slip past his guard.
A right slammed into the side of his chest, the blow opening his guard even more. In came her left with a hook towards his ribs, her younger brother's armor absorbing some of the hit for him even if he still felt the punch. With Leke's arms tucking against his torso the Princesses right leg snaps up to catch him in the thigh as he staggers once more. Grinning with excitement at the adrenaline rush that such close combat brought Akassa strikes again, aiming a fist for the center of his chest with the hopes if taking the warrior from his feet. Considering how poorly he had performed during the pre-tournament, Leke was doing much better this go around. How long though could he take her empowered strikes though before it took a toll on his stamina? The younger Hattori knew his sister well and was quite aware that she would not relent until he yielded or he was unconscious.
The X made with his arms was nothing more than a target for Akassa's next strike as her Ki encased knuckles slam into it. Preparing to strike around the dual block she was surprised to find herself pushed back as his barrier expands around him. Sliding back across the tiled floor her surprise only caused a moment of hesitation. Barriers such as this one designed to take the brunt of an opponent’s attacks, whether they be Ki based or physical, but they were only able to take so much. Ever on the offensive Akassa does not stop her assault, Leke's barrier flashing as her fists slam into it. Viciously attacked the shield in an attempt to smash through it the Princess stumbles forward as it suddenly disappears. Eyes looking to him she is about to pounce when he speaks.
The amused expression on his sisters face disappears at the question, her stance going slack as he asks her. Letting the Ha-Ken on her left arm dissolve she lifts it up, showing her brother the artificial arm she now bore. "This is what happens when you do not take the Universal Church of One seriously Leke. They came here and murdered our people and you would offer them salvation? Did you not see how far their devotion to Aon goes? We must send a message to them and the rest of the galaxy that the Saiyan people are not to be assaulted in such a way." Anger crept into her voice, not directed at Leke, but at the whole situation. Akassa was usually cool and collected at times like this, but something about the Church had hit a nerve with the Princess.
"Innocent people? Don't be naive Leke, no one is truly innocent if they are tied to an organization like that. If we let any of them live it will come to haunt us in the future, I promise you that. Would you prefer that years down the road they resurface and take more Saiyan lives? " Her tone remained sharp as she continued, the Princess wanting her brother to see the full picture. This universe they lived in was not a peaceful place, in the end only the strong survived. Not completely distracted by the conversation and having new anger to vent Akassa resumes her assault.
Letting out a battle cry she shoves her hand forward, palm open in the direction of Leke. A short time ago Akassa had mastered the use of psychokinetic powers, a skill that few in her family knew she possessed. Having fought with Conri and Ezekiel she had learned the power of such techniques and added them to her own arsenal. As her hand thrusts forward an invisible wave of force launches from it. The technique was not designed to do serious damage, but catch the opponent off guard and set up following attacks.
Assuming he was not somehow ready for it and the blasts takes him right off his feet Akassa begins the next stage of her chain as soon as the kinetic blast leaves her hand. Leaping in the air before the blast actually hits him the Princess times it so that as she descends Leke was already parallel with the ground. Using Zenzoken to quicken her movements she drops towards her brother, both feet snapping out as she aims to drive the soles of her boots into his armored chest. The attack packed enough force to drive him into the floor below, Akassa not even sure if tiles could handle it. She didn’t care, the floor could be fixed as could any injuries inflict upon her brother.

Leke's pleading expression did not change as his half-sister's own turned from amused to sour. She lifted up her arm and shouted at him about the Church needing to be dealt with and being taken seriously. The prince gulped through exasperated breaths, this lull in the fighting doing better to help him recover some stamina despite the gravity's strain on his body. Anger built up inside of Leke at what she was saying. She acted like all on their planet followed the Church and its ways wholeheartedly. Some had to be resisting it, much like the Saiyans and Earthlings had their rebels and thugs. But when she called him naive, something in Leke awoke. All of the words spewing out of her mouth was pure hypocrisy to him from then on. The prince clenched his fists at her words.
If we let any of them live, it will come to haunt us in the future. As if she knew any of them at all. Any of them. Leke only grew angrier as she finished speaking, ending with a note about saving Saiyan lives.
He roared back, even as she gave her own battle cry, "HOW?!" His body was shoved backwards violently by Akassa's psychokinetic powers, knocking him backwards and onto his feet. In a flash, Akassa was above him, driving down with her entire body, both legs locked together seemingly to drive into the prince. She moved at such speeds that Leke couldn't even process the facts or try to counter before an immense pain started in his chest and back as he felt the crack of his armor and slamming of his body into the ground.
Leke grunted in pain, seeing now Akassa's boots buried in Leke's chest, her having descended from the sky. She was not heavy, but even with her lowered power level, her attack had hit a vital spot. Some of those cracks may have been ribs instead of his armor, but he couldn't feel much of it now. It was an immense pain, but not unshakeable, especially with the anger Leke had right now. Blood boiling, he roared again, unleashing his ki all around him with a power that not only came from his energy reserves, but from his heart, no doubt thrusting Akassa away with the force that erupted from the prince. He had never revealed this power or technique before now, after having unlocked it during an ambush by the Church after his first session with weights. The Hattori son had been desperate and put his all into the attack and found himself unconscious. Now, Leke found himself only angry, the fatigue being drowned out by his emotions. It was not like the fourteen-year-old to get like this, but as he had done earlier, he had the potential to let his emotions get ahold of him.
"You don't know anything, sister! How can you condemn an entire planet that you have never even seen or been to? I'm not saying the Church is full of saints. I want anyone who was even partially responsible for the taking of Saiyan lives and burning of our buildings gone. But you saw the army that fought us..." Leke stood up slowly as he spoke, gaining his feet below him and feeling little of the gravity, the pain, or the tiredness that was striking at his body. The words just seemed to flow out like a river, as if it was natural, though he ranted little.
"They were mostly, if not all, androids! How do we know what their planet is like? Is it even theirs? Do they share it with another race, completely benign but strong or witty enough to keep the Church from attacking them? Do they have a civillian population? That one has to be a yes, but do they follow the church or not? Do they have to? There's so many questions we haven't asked. You want to condemn probably millions of people for the actions of most likely only a few. A hundred, or a thousand. A blimp on the galactic scale, maybe not in power, but in numbers. A child is not responsible for the actions of his father, nor can it change almost anything his father does. But it can change itself if it's not molded evilly. We are not born inherently. We are influenced..." Leke took a few deep breaths, staring at his half-sister, hoping she would see reason. Though he had gotten oddly philosophical at the end, he still wanted to fight and train, but at least he wanted her to know what he felt and what should be done.
"Sister, just see what I mean. The evil needs to stop, yes, but if destroying the planet destroys millions, billions, whatever lives, and some of them are or could have been good... I couldn't live with it, knowing I was responsible. You wouldn't even KNOW!" Leke roared again at his sister, now launching himself off the ground at her, aiming to simply tackle her to the ground and beat her with whatever part of his body he could; a fist, leg, arm, his head, anything. As his emotions got ahold of him, his tactics became more and more brutal, and less... Well, tactful. But the prince could see little reason beyond his own view of what should happen to the planet, and he hoped Akassa would see that as well.
Tech used was Spirit Release (Expels ki around the user in a sphere, more powerful than a standard attack but less so than a master, uses up a life force charge) Life Charges Used: 1/5 *Feeling it, but still fine*
