As the small pink-haired girl ran up to him and greeted both him and Anri, Bear was somewhat taken back. Giving her a slight look of surprise, Bear was not sure what to say. He knew in just a matter of seconds, a fight would break out and blood would be spilled. It didn't seen fitting for him to return such a greeting.
With a shrug, Bear turned his attention back to Kemuri. Ordering each of his warriors to take care of a fighter, the last command was to Bear. Surprising the shirtless vagabond, Bear rose into the air, landing on the solid marble floor between the others and Kemuri. What his "team" did next was of no concern to him now.
Eyeing each of the warriors, Bear gave a little smirk and stretched his neck and cracked his knuckles. All the thoughts of dying or being betrayed vanished. There wa s nothing but confidence inside him. Sure, he might not have been the strongest there, but no one had to know that. With his power level masked, he dropped low into a defensive stance. He wanted to say something, but nothing seemed fitting at the moment.
Though these people were not his friends, some even complete strangers, he knew some of them. Right now, his job was to keep them out of Kemuri's way. If things went well, Bear could do this without even fighting. But he knee that very rarely, things ever went perfect. How exactly he could hold them all off himself was a mystery to him. It was obvious that at this point Kemuri cared very little for any of his team.
That said, the hyena-man had never truly cared for any of them. Bear was far from believing that any of them were more than pawns in his game of chess, just as Kemuri was to Bear. The idea of switching sides was always on his mind, he never truly had wanted to stay with Kemuri. He simply had to use him to recover. And when the idea of using him to grow stronger had basically vanished, Bear had to wait.
Hopefully, these people would give Bear the chance to explain, after Kemuri, Anri, and this new, evil sounding Mahajenn had left to fight their own battles. If the did, Bear and the rest could take out Kemuri.
But the idea was only that, an idea. Bear knew that he had just landed here on bad terms. He knew each of these people would be expecting Bear to try to kill them. And he knew if Kemuri smelled the setup, he would surely strike Bear down; so until he was out of earshot and sight, Bear had to keep up the gruff appearence. What happened next, would all be on what the rest of Kami's forces did.
So many people…to many people for Carmen to focus on all at once. With the arrival of Anri’s group(His group because she knew him best) the amount of individuals gathered about the Lookout was overwhelming. From the short and fat black Mr. Popo to the angry looking woman in red armor there was quite the assortment. A fight was brewing; anyone with at least descent perception could have figured that out even if they knew nothing of the situation before hand. Never mind all the orders and passionate words that they had for each other. Naturally, Carmen had no real enemies except maybe Azazel who she had fought against before, but so far they had gotten along quite well. Even as Carmen skipped over towards Anri, the woman in the dress called out for her, requesting that she blast the dog looking creature with her most recent toy.
That dog-man was supposedly the Kemuri they had been training to fight against, but little did Azazel or Kaladar know Carmen had little intention of fighting the new King from the beginning. Now, if he came at her or one of her friends that was going to be a different story. When push came to shove the small girl was not afraid to fight back. Still ignoring the words of the old man who lived at the Lookout and Azazel, the Makaio smiles wide at Anri as he drops to a knee in order to talk with her. Able to sense power signatures whenever she wished the pink haired girl easily saw that her armored friend had grown quite powerful in their time apart. He had not been weak before, but now he was even farther ahead of her in terms of strength. From what he had told her before though he was a warrior, much more a fighter than she, so it made sense he was continually growing strong. The company he kept was also quite strong; perhaps he was trying to outclass them?
”Noted, but you best make time for me after all of this! Be careful.” Was her cheerful response to his words, the girl confident that her powerful friend could handle himself. As an afterthought she adds. ”Oh, try and not hurt my friend.” Her hand pointing over to Alexander so that she might save him Anri’s powerful attacks. Alex and she were good friends, he had even taken hits for her in their last training session so she wanted to try and return the favor by protecting him, friendship! Without much of a warning after ruffling her hair and his warning Anri turns his attention to Azazel, his opponent? Not such a good thing for Anri…she was strong as well. Silently Carmen hoped that Anri would win although she didn’t necessarily want Azazel to die, but if she had to choose one of the two….
Anri then rose into the air, his power charged aura tussling her hair more than his hand had. Taking a couple steps back she brought herself closer to Alexander once more. With her friend soon to be occupied with a fight she was glad to see another friend take his place, the shirtless man landing in front of where she was standing. Cocking her head to the side at his choice of positioning she wondered if he wanted to fight against them, he did seem to be with this Kemuri after all.
”Hi there mister, throw any more cars lately?” The same smile still on her face as from before. Hopefully he wasn’t drunk and understood what she had said, the last thing she wanted was him charging at her in a drunken rage. Sniffing some she did not smell any alcohol wafting off of him which was a good sign, considering how strong he had smelt of it during their first meeting. Hands tucked behind the small of her back the demoness looks over to Alexander as she awaits an answer.
”As long as this one doesn’t attack us I think we should back up some…” Carmen trying to whisper although her voice carried quite normally and plenty loud enough so that Bear could hear her. If fighting was to happen, the pink haired girl really didn’t want to be a part of it. Even when it came to Anri she wanted to stay out of it. She would protect a friend, but only if she had the power to do so. Getting in between Azazel and him is something that would be extremely dangerous for her. Above all else Carmen loved herself, so self preservation came first.
It seemed that things started to escalate rather quickly with everyone else showing up for the confrontation now, but Alexander just continued to observe how everyone acted, planning out various scenarios in his own mind. It was all to calculate the odds of how everything would turn out, so far things weren't looking too good for the 'good guy' side, but it was possible that they could still pull out a win from it. Studying each of the people there to see their moods as well, which would likely play a factor in how thing went from this point on, and if Alexander would stick around or not. Especially with the sudden burst of power from one called Azazel who they had been fighting not too long ago, however, it did cause an eyebrow to raise from the man as her power was far more than what it was when they had fought. Had she been holding back the entire time? That was both disturbing and a bit irritating that she hadn't even used a fraction of her power, even if it was much more than either he or Carmen could handle. The logic of it didn't appease; the annoyance that he felt from someone holding back against him even if it was in a spar, he took it as a meaning of they didn't believe him worth it.
The one called Kemuri was trying to give orders to the lot of them, it was actually rather amusing really, had the others not been caught up in whatever ideas were in their head, it might have been possible to come up with a better solution for the fighting. Instead, they all just followed suit with his orders, it was just an amusing thing for him to note with the heroes that they went along with their enemies plans instead of going with their own. Was it the sense of pride of beating their opponent on their terms? It seemed a waste of opportunity, granted the other side could very well do the same thing, it just struck him as odd that no one seemed intent on disobeying the Hyena creature, yet they were opposed to him as a ruler. Maybe it was just him though, his eyes shifted towards Carmen as she and the strange creature that arrived with Kemuri spoke, his name being brought up into things and he supposed he would need to thank the girl.
The first thing to do would be to find a way to get out of this place and leave them all to kill themselves, but it seemed that Carmen wasn't too intent on leaving given that she mentioned that they back up some. "I think it'd be a much better idea to just leave this place," he spoke so only Carmen would hear him; he'd rather not get caught up in someone elses game. He'd leave that to the supposed hero that showed up declaring that he would fight Kemuri himself, if he wanted to do that he was more than welcome, Alexander wasn't one to just start throwing his life away for others now. He wasn't an idiot willing to just throw his life away for something that wasn't all that important in the first place, so with that, he decided on the best course of action for him. Which was not to be around all the high powered people that would be throwing around attacks without too much care as to their environment, he would wait to see what Carmen's answer would be before executing his own plans.
While the last member of Kemuri's group had taken a stance, but they had not attacked yet, so he was half-curious as to what the man was doing. Was he trying to make them lower their guard and then launch an attack? His eyes continued to watch the man while Carmen made her decision, whatever it was that she decided, he would respect her wish but that would not postpone his own either.
Carla entered the battlefield behind Kaladar. Her geta slapped against the stone tiles as she halted behind him and ended up directed into the flock of able fighters with a blond haired man, Carmen, Alexander, and Azazel. Fate has a strange way of bringing old friends together and as a result the blond haired man approached the fearsome four consisting of a strange woman in red armor, a metallic-bodied humanoid, a scraggy looking man she knew as Bear and Kemuri. She was not willing to move at this point as Mr. Popo, who had let Saito hold his shoulder had not begun to move until the older blond had made his statement. It was apparent fighting was inevitable based on the fact that Kemuri, the hyena dog that he was had said so, and that the four opponents she saw before her had come to take on fighting stances or had floated into the sky. Carla felt like wetting her pants at the fact that she might have to fight, yet took to distracting herself by ruffling the crumpled bits of the yellow and green, flowery kimono she wore over a black body suit.
"Kaladar's given me the tools to fight..." she whispered to herself closing her green eyes. Someone was bound to choose her as an opponent soon. The problem was would it be someone strong or would she be last in the barrel of monkeys in the coming war?
(This is a sum of the posts from the last Saga thread. The order is as follows:
Bear Carmen Alexander Carla
Bear you are up!)

”Hi there mister, throw any more cars lately?” asked the pink-haired girl. Bear noted the reference from their first meeting, when he had drank a little too much and done just that. Though there was more to that moment than anyone would know, the girl had never asked why he'd done it. In that meeting, she was as innocent as a child, only wanting to have some fun, and maybe cause a little trouble in the end. Bear had liked her for that. She reminded him of many innocents he'd met in his life; the ones whom never judged him.
However, these thoughts never reflected through Bear's gruff face. Instead, the man stood, stonewalled, ready only to defend himself if need be. Grunting in response to the girl, Bear's eyes darted to watch his "comrades" leave for their own battles. Once out of earshot, he might reveal what he had planned.
”As long as this one doesn’t attack us I think we should back up some…”
Had the situation not been so dire, the girl's comment might have brought a smile to Bear's face, but with things the way the were, there was no time for smiles. His eyes moved to the man standing at the girl's side, and noted his appearence.
His facial expression told Bear he didn't want to be there. This was a good sign, as Bear himself shared such feelings. He was a younger man, perhaps in his twenties? But Bear had no reason to believe he was human, nor any reason to believe otherwise. Either way, he would not underestimate the man. His eyes darted back to the pink-haired girl, then back a few times, as if asking her if this guy was alright.
Out of everyone there, Bear felt that the girl was his best option. Without her, he would have a hard time explaining he wasn't on Kemuri's side to the others, Azazel especially.
Lowering his voice so only the ones near him could here, and after making sure Kemuri and his lackeys were preoccupied, Bear would speak, "I am not here to fight you," raising a hand towards them, he motioned slightly to show he meant no harm.
"That said, if you attack, I will retaliate."
Again, the next move was up to the others. If they chose to hear him out, Bear could explain himself. But if they didn't, he couldn't blame them. It would be hard even for him to make a call if he were placed in such a situation. None the less, he would keep focus and his defensive stance, just to be sure he could defend himself.

Alexander moving closer to her, Carmen couldn’t help but smile a little more, another one of her friends and allies at her side. This situation had seemed to escalate quickly when it came to everyone else, but their small group was standing calmly still. That was what she wanted, Alex desiring to leave to ensure that they would be safe from any of the crossfire. Originally their plan had been to take advantage of the training here and then book on the way towards the city. Never had they seriously considered taking the fight to this Kemuri…it was just too dangerous. What had changed for the Makaio was that Anri had shown up, the pink haired girl not prepared to just leave him behind. At the moment he was in the air, engaged in combat with Azazel…a fight Carmen did not think he could win.
All she wanted to see was how her friend would fair for she was not strong enough to help him. ”Do you mind if we stay to see the outcome of Azazel’s fight with Anri? The armored man is my friend and I cannot help him, but I would at least like to see his fate…” Her sentence sort of trailing off as she finishes, the girl not at all pleased with the aspects of losing a friend so soon after she had made him. Still she wanted to remain for a short while later, the girl pouting some at her partner so that he might remain with her and not leave her behind. Losing two friends in one day would make it even more unpleasant.
Next the shirtless man spoke, confirming that he did not wish to fight any more than they did. Another relief and perhaps more incentive for Alexander to stay. All of them were not out of danger, but if they moved to the side of the Lookout they should remain safe…Azazel nor Anri would endanger them…she hoped. Slowly starting to back up from the man, not to get away from him, but to ensure her own safety she shakes his head a little to his words.
”You do not have to worry about that Mister, Alex and I hear have no intentions of fighting. I don’t think she does either.” She adds as she points over to Carla in the distance, the girl not really her friend, but on the same “side” as her. ”It is a bit curious though that you came all the way here just to not fight, is there a reason for that?” Honestly she didn’t expect to understand the drunk’s motives, after all he was a drunk wasn’t he? Maybe he had thought there was a bar here?

Carmen wanted to stay if only to see the result of her friend's fight, which he could understand to a degree as well, especially if this was going to be his last fight. Witnessing it was often left to those that were close to the person, he supposed that they could stay here for that long at least. If things got really hectic he would then just take his leave, given that he wasn't one to stick his neck out in affairs that weren't his business. Everyone else wanted to play hero, but he was smart enough to realize that fighting losing battles wasn't anything even close to heroic. It was the highest form of stupidity.
The man had no intention of fighting so there was nothing to worry about from him, whether the girl felt the same or not was up for grabs at the moment. They would all be standing watching the others fight at this rate, waiting for the winners to emerge so that the next round could proceed. He wasn't all that interested though with his advanced sensing he could get a rough idea of just how the fights might turn out, so there was little that could surprise. Of course he accounted for the fact that something could change that, but for now there was no reason for them to really bother with anything.
He didn't say anything when the man said if they attacked he would defend himself, but it just seemed an empty statement given that Carmen had already said they had no intention of fighting. If that was not the case Alexander would have already started to unleash attacks against this bearded person, and he had a power that could grow at a much higher rate with his blessed form. It was all pointless though since they had only come here for the training and hadn't wanted to get involved with this silly play between Kami and Kemuri.

The words, ”Do you mind if we stay to see the outcome of Azazel’s fight with Anri? The armored man is my friend and I cannot help him, but I would at least like to see his fate…" echoed through Carla's ears she did not know the armored man really well, but she knew that Anri had been with Carmen when she'd fist come to the tower. She gazed up at him fight Azazel and could not believe the awe-inspiring power the enraged, clearly demonic looked red haired woman was unleashing now. It was hundreds of thousands of times stronger then her own power and put her to shame as she stood there with her hands clenched fearing for her life. She didn't want to put her life in the hands of others she needed to help someone and she wasn't the only one thinking this. Pandora was too, despite her sometimes awful demeanor, the former goddess-like woman was willing to throw her life in to save the world, but with the limited pool or energy she possessed Carla was going to be like a small firecracker versus an actual firework in this battle between Azazel or any of the other fights nearby. Her only good option was Bear.
The problem was Bear was now saying, "I am not here to fight you," as he raised his hands, however, he added to the end the potential for his will to fight by stating, "That said, if you attack. I will retaliate." Carla focused him on him getting into a defensive stance and noticed the foot falls and arm movements would end up being the kind of defensive stance she would take if she were pushed to fight too.
Alexander did not really say anything at all, however, he seemed unwilling to engage a thought towards anything different then Carmen's will. It peeved little Carla, even though she was very scared, and in her rash, childish manner she stomped the tiled floor of lookout and cried, "Have you all forgotten why we're here! Bear may not want to fight us but he's evil now! I don't know why a guy like him would join evil pricks like the ones flying all around us, but I'm going to end this quick and find a way to help the others!"
Pandora jumped in quickly saying inside Carla's head It's great you want to destroy someone like this who's tipped his heart towards evil but please don't show him our ultimate attack first!
Carla, being the brat she was ignored Pandora's advice, raised her right hand and pointed two fingers towards Bear. She gathered a small, golf ball sized parcel of energy and condensed it into a hardened sphere along the tips of her fingernails. Smirking, she pointed it at Bear's heart and said, "Any last words Bear, if not I'm going to end you now and carry on with helping my friends. I hate to kill you, but you've gone and become an evil man for an unexplained, probably dullard reason! You've got three seconds... one... two.."
Her time to compromise was like a short cannon fuse. Bear would have three seconds to say something or not, unfortunately for him, Carla counted quicker then a jack rabbit and let her intentions become known without even having to say three.
"Dodon Ray!" she screamed. The beam, a highly condensed mass of energy careened towards Bear's chest, most of the energy was focused within the sphere on the front end of the beam, so if he could dodge the explosion that erupted from here or block it the man could survive. Yet if he did not severe damage or death was about to occur for him.

”You do not have to worry about that Mister, Alex and I hear have no intentions of fighting. I don’t think she does either. It is a bit curious though that you came all the way here just to not fight, is there a reason for that?”
Bear was glad to hear that, but nevertheless, his guarded stance never wavered. These were times of war, and Bear knew he stood on the wrong side of the crossfire. He was outnumbered, three-to-one, and the odds were stacked in their favor. Turning to eye the three of them, he opened his mouth to speak, only to be interrupted by the other girl he knew as Carla:
"Have you all forgotten why we're here! Bear may not want to fight us but he's evil now! I don't know why a guy like him would join evil pricks like the ones flying all around us, but I'm going to end this quick and find a way to help the others!"
Pointing two fingers at Bear, a small sphere of energy began to form. She was preparing an attack, but had lost the advantage of surprise with her outburst. Obviously she was overflowing with emotion from the situation. Bear could not blame her for that, but nevertheless, he's told them if he was attacked, he would fight back.
As the energy gathered at he fingertips, and she made a short speech, Bear's muscles bulged, his face darkening, entering his Bearserk state. His legs flexed, crouching low to the ground, and as the girl fired the blast, Bear would be ready to leap out of the way, high into the air.
"Are you daft?!" he shouted as the blast roared under him, continuing harmlessly behind in a straight line, "It was not my choice to stay with Kemuri! If I recall correctly, you left me there!"
Landing to the side, Bear would draw his leg back, and kick the air in Carla's direction, firing a green blast at the girl. This was the move he'd formally named Drunken Fury, but in his time trapped in Kemuri's castle, he'd learned to use it sober.
Returning to his defensive stance, he would warn Carla one time. If she ignored his warning, he would have to protect himself, "Do not make me fight you."

Everything was going so smoothly, the lot of them all on the same page in terms of not engaging one another.
Then Carla had to mess it all up. From the side she starts to yell, blaming the shirtless man for joining up with Kemuri. As far as Carmen knew that was the case, he had shown up with them after all, but that didnt instantly condemn him either. So far he had made not threatening action against any of them and even if he did, he was far outclassed by the trio. That didnt stop Carla from attacking him though, the girl yelling out the name of an attack before a powerful blast shoots towards the man. Luckily for him he had not been unprepared, the drunk leaping right over the blast. In turn he retaliated with a energy blast from his foot, no doubt wanting to ward the girl off without really hurting her.
"What are you doing you stupid girl?! He just said he didn't want to fight any of us! Are you daft?" She asks as the Makaio uses the same word her drunken friends had just used. Hopefully the two would knock it off as there truly was no need for violence between them. More than a little frustrated (mainly because her conversation had been interrupted) the pink hair girl takes a step backwards. Unknowingly she bumps into Alexander, Carmen glancing over her shoulder as she does.
"Sorry! We best be backing up even more if these two do end up going at it." Offering him a smile the girl tries to keep him from leaving just yet, knowing he wanted no part in it, but not ready to leave her friend just yet. With all the hubbub she had lost track of Anri and Azazel, the two still locked in a fight that was very dangerous for her friend. Hopefully he would find a way out of this.

He let out a sigh as the little girl suddenly decided that she wasn't going to let a fight not happen, was this really what the 'good guys' did? It would seem that not all the good guys were as good as they claimed to be, rather they were more than willing to just attack people even if they said they didn't want a fight. He had to wonder about the people here, they were all too quick to get emotional about the situation, something that he had no problem preventing himself from doing. There was no victory in letting your emotions control your actions nevermind that they all tried to be noble but instead sounding like a bunch of nutjobs in the process. Another reason that he would have preferred to just leave this place and not deal with the people here.
The child even went so far as to yell out the name of her attack, giving the man more than enough time to dodge and even counter with his own technique. Before he could even make a comment Carmen had backed up into him in an attempt to give the two room in case a fight did break out between them, and he wrapped an arm around her to jump a bit further away from them, releasing the pink-haired girl once more. His eyes focusing on the other two for the time being and watching them in case any attacks flew their way, which would then force his own hand in the matter. As it was, he was already annoyed with the way the situation was turning, but there wasn't much he could do about it right now except consider his options for dealing with everything.
"Child, how do you even know if he's evil? Considering the fact that he doesn't want to fight, the opposite would more than likely be true. Besides, from the sounds of it, he was left as Kemuri's prisoner when you all lost the first battle. You should be thankful that he isn't evil, he had more than enough reason to turn on you all for abandoning him," he hoped the girl would see the logic of the situation, but he highly doubted it. Children were such a nuisance in that regard, and the fact that they hardly ever listened in general, it was why he tended to avoid them for the most part. He was trying to help keep things calm, so that nothing else stupid was done, he could feel a headache coming on though so it likely wouldn't put an end to things. He hadn't forgotten anything of why he was here either, it was to use the people for training and then leave, he was still working on the leaving part though.
Shaking his head, this was likely not going to be easy in the slightest, but it was likely that there would be a fight unless the little girl saw reason and given her actions so far it was really up in the air. Keeping his guard up, he had to make sure that she didn't decide to attack him and Carmen either, because right now she was an unstable variable in this whole thing.

Carla watched Bear skillfully jump her Dodon Ray. Her best attack was clearly not good enough. She struck a defensive pose, but it was too late! Bear kicked downwards from the air sending out a powerful wave of green energy from his leg. It soared in Carla's direction and smashed into her body sending her rolling back across the ground. Her back skid across the tile until she found herself at the edge of Look Out.
"Ow..." she groaned as she sat up. Alex's words and Bear's words about him not being an enemy rang through her ear drums. Powerful techniques were clearly not something that could always take a person down, but being the child she was she was not about to give up so she propped herself up on her elbows and struggled to her feet.
"That wasn't the best I had!" she lied. She then let her power flow into her fists, pulled them back and punched forward releasing a column of flames with her Thunder Flash. The technique flew across the battlefield and headed towards bear, but it was likely he was going to block or dodge again, so Carla prepped herself this time, straightened out her fingers on both hands and formed two red Energy Swords. If he attempted to get close to her this time Carla was going to cut him down for sure this time. Nothing was going to stop her. Not even the protests of Carmen or Alexander making her think as she did, "Am I actually the evil one, or was it really my sister? Did I cut her down in cold blood or did I enjoy it like I'm starting to enjoy this?"

Though not his true intentions, his attack was true to it's mark, connecting hard with the fiery little girl and propelling her across the marble tiles of the Lookout. Both of the bystanders tried their hands at talking the small girl out of her rage, but as she stood again, Bear could see this would not end well.
Bear braced himself, as he shot a quick eye over to watch the other two back up to give the fighter's their space. Though he didn't want to, Bear then turned his full attention on Carla. She was the one he needed to worry about. As it stood, the other two didn't want to fight. However, if that was to change, it was a problem Bear would have to deal with later.
Watching as the girl pulled her hands back, Bear could see she was readying another attack. There was enough space between them that the attack would surely be avoidable, and a smirk crossed over Bear's face. When he arrived, he had only been thinking about how unprepared he was to fight this battle, but now, facing an opponent, he suddenly remember just how much he enjoyed fighting. A calm rushed over him as for a second, everything seemed to stop.
If he could stop the fight, he would, for Bear was a man of sense, but if by the much more likely chance that he couldn't, he would enjoy every second of it. Like the true warrior he was.
Legs crouching low, ready to spring his out of harms way, Bear was not surprised to see a wave of fire leave the girls hands. The blast shot fast, rocketing towards its target, but Bear was ready to leap to the left and let the blast roar past him. Had the man been wearing a shirt, or coat, it would have surely lit on fire from the heat.
Cocking his own arm back, he would fire a second Drunken Fury attack. The probability of this one connecting was slim, especially when Carla formed ki blades on her arms, but this was jot the point of such an attack. At the moment, Bear was still trying keep her from fighting.
"You are being foolish, girl. Please, stand down." There was militaristic authority to Bear's tone as he spoke. Though not a shout, careful of letting his voice echo through the Lookout, Bear spoke clearly, and demanding.

Carmen stomps her foot in frustration as they two continue to go at it. The group was giving Carla all the options to stop fighting and she was ignoring them. Even the kick that nearly knocked her off of the Lookout was not enough convince her to yield. Rising right back to her feet the girl thrusts her arms forward as two gouts of flame erupt from them, hurtling towards the drunken man. Luckily for the shirtless fighter he did not smell as strongly of alcohol as he had the last time they had seen each other or the man might have exploded when the fire contacted him. A small chuckle escapes the pink haired girl’s lips at that thought, admittedly thinking it might have been funny to see. Since that was not a possible outcome the Makaio’s mood does not truly brighten as the fighting continues.
Standing off to the side as the man again tries to convince Carla to stop, Carmen crosses her arms across her chest. Slowly shaking her head she just watches. Bear had approached them so he probably had something more important to discuss than simply requesting to speak instead of fight. Her and Alexander could have possibly benefited from a lucrative offer or the shirtless man might have even chosen to flee from the Lookout with them. This was just ridiculous; Carla was attacking recklessly and without an real reason behind it except that Bear had shown up with the enemy. The only attacks he had thrown so far were to defend himself, not even seeming to be trying to really hurt the girl just keep her from hurting him.
”Alexander, should we help him or restrain the girl? I don’t really want to get involved…but what if he was looking to side with us or something? At the very least we might gain another for our little organization, right?” She asks as her purple eyes shift over to him, questioning what path they might take. She wanted to hang around, yet at the same time felt she was going back on her original agreement with Alex to leave once trouble showed up. Why did her other friends have to show up and complicate everything!

Rubbing the bridge of his nose, this was really starting to get on his nerves, granted nothing had been directed at them yet but that didn't change that this situation was not a smart one. She was focused on attacking without listening to anything that was said, if this was the direction a good guy chose then the good guys weren't really all that good. In fact, this seemed something more akin to what the Kemuri person would do and Carla had originally stated that she was going to be fighting against the Hyena man. This was just giving him one big headache really and in turn that was just starting to wear on his patience, which in general was a bad thing to wear down on him.
Carmen wanted to see if they could help the man or restrain the girl, something he wouldn't have really expected from the pink-haired woman. He supposed that meant that the man was likely a friend of hers as well, he mulled the options in his head for a bit. If this continued there was no telling what the girl would do next, and if the man was trying to join the 'good guys' it would at least add troops to their side even though the power difference was still there. Crossing his arms in thought he tried to think what the best course of action would be, if they joined with the man it might seem like they were joining the enemy to the other woman and she didn't seem like one to wait for explanations with the way she was dealing with the other person Carmen knew. The best option for them would likely be to restrain the girl and try to talk some sense into her, maybe they could actually get something done that way.
"Very well, we'll try to restrain the girl to prevent potential backlash, do you have any ideas on how to do that? Or perhaps some rope or something?" he'd prefer to avoid having to harm her to restrain her for his previous line of thought, but if it came to it there was no choice. He figured if she brought up restraining, that maybe Carmen might have an idea on how to do that. Either way, it seemed like they were going to wind up getting involved in this fight. Nothing was ever simple.

"Argh!" Carla cried swinging her energy swords out and cutting through Bear's energy attack like butter. "I'm not a girl! And I won't stand down! I'm a debonaire lady!"
You might want to rethink what you're doing... Padora cautioned in the back of her mind.
Carla, for one brief moment turned to her left and yelled at herself, "Stop telling me what to do Pandora! You want me to accept your power, well, I am!" Carla then turned quickly back to Bear so he could not take the opportunity to surprise attack her. She allowed her power to fill her body and as it did a red aura expanded around her.
This, of course, was not the only change that came with her power. She gained a couple inches in height topping off at 5 ft. 3 in. and some weight topping off at 130 lbs. Her body took on a more womanly shape as she transformed with Pandora's power and pushed the limits of herself and her current kimono to the brink causing the loose fitting clothing to now just barely hold back her adult, feminine form.
Carla smirked at her opponent, stomped the ground like her sister, and said, "Remember this Bear? I'm going to defeat you now with my female charm since our last encounter only embarrassed me when I did this." She lowered her arms, still keeping her ki blades active, and walked straight towards the muscled man. With every step she took her breasts bounced underneath her kimono almost looking as if they would fall out thanks to their near D cup size. It was likely a bit odd to see a girl suddenly turn into a woman on the battlefield with ki powers, but things for Carla could have been worse. She could have had the power to turn into an insect, however, she was very happy to have this instead as she sashayed towards Bear and showed off her immense power.
At this point, if Carmen and Alexander did not want to die too, Carla would need some tough convincing from her spectators to make sure that she did not try to behead them or Bear with her energy blades. Carla was likely pondering why the heck she was doing this in the first place, but her childish thinking told her this, "Man came with Kemuri. Kemuri equals a bad guy therefore Kemuri and all who came with him are evil. There is no in-between. Only black and white." This is what Carla understood, however, she had such little training with Kaladar who was now hard pressed into fighting the woman in red armor that it was unlikely he would be able to step in and teach her anything here about that.
No one was here to stop her except for the only three people in this little war that refused to fight. "How can you all forget the principles of war!" she announced as she stopped five feet from Bear's face, "The good fight to stop evil, the evil cause the world's problems, and the good cannot back down until that scourge is blemished!"
This was in no way a teaching of Kaladar's own training methods, but something entirely different. This was a teaching of the AnAn clan, Carla's little group of ninja assassins who up until now really have had little effect in Carla's life, except, well just about all of her childhood. They were called the "AnAn" or "Plan-Plan" clan for a reason and that reason was that their goddess warrior, the one known as Pandora was a lady said to have worked in the shadows, said to have sought to get rid of other evil clans around her so that she could protect her peace loving group, said to have gone on a journey so that she could find tools to do this with, and said to have stolen from an actual goddess Anim to get them. Now, after all these events, was Carla to believe anymore what she was or who she was a good person?
Nope, in truth, it had dawned on her that fighting Kemuri was pointless. She was not really watching Saito's fight at the moment, and had not been since it started, nor was she watching Kami's and Popo's match against Delshano. Finally, she was definitely not watching the match against Anri and Azazel. It was a bit hard to say this, and she really did not know if she wanted to, however, she felt now the only reason she had come to Kami's Look Out was to usurp the man and take all the knowledge she could. At heart she was a kunoichi girl. It was their job to steal what others had but now that this fox hyena, beast-man thing named Kemuri had come to trash the Earth's greatest training temple Carla was peeved. This was her knowledge to take and not theirs.
She released the energy on her right ki blade dissipating it in an instant before raising her right hand and pointing her index finger at Bear. "I consider you scourge. You need to leave this place right now before I consider cutting you down to size."
She did not care what Carmen or Alexander thought of these ones or her prior ones, but if any of them attacked her she would attack them. As a result, she decided to do what Bear did and took a crouched position with her left hand still glowing at her side. If any of them got closer then the five feet she allotted between herself and the warrior before her it was go time. Carla already had one technique that was far superior to all of theirs most likely. The Dodon Ray was great and with it she was highly confident her ninja like skills could help her pull off a much better explosive blast. The first one had missed simply because the man before her had prepped a silly jumping maneuver beforehand to dodge it. This time she was going to watch him like a hawk before striking with it again.

Bear did not like the girls answer to his order. She seemed like she was crazy, and even turned to speak to someone that wasn't there. For a second, Bear stood dumbfounded, silently wondering if anyone else had seen that. No matter what he thought, he could not fight someone who lacked the ability to make decisions for themselves. However, there was no doubt that a fight was just what this girl wanted. As she shifted shape into a woman, Bear recalled his first run-in with the girl.
There was no doubt her power level had increased when she took this form. He might have been infatuated had he been drinking, like in their first encounter, but today he was sober and could see clearly through the disguise. No matter the form, to Bear she would always be a little girl.
As she neared him, his hands balled into fists. She told him he was evil. An accusation he was obviously not happy to hear. Keeping his composer the best he could, he let the girl finish her speach. Upon finishing, she would crouch down, blade of ki drawn back and ready to strike. A sadistic grin flashed on Bear's face as he watched her, the words leaving his mouth in a hollow tone, "You know everything, huh? You believe you have seen and know it all."
A dry chuckle left his mouth, and he shook his head, "I have seen evil. I have experienced it first hand, little girl. I am far from that." His hands outstreched, running a finger over a scarred cheek. "You want to kill me over a hunch, be my guest. But know one thing. I will know be the one to live with the guilt. That is all on you."
Crouching back into his defensive stance once again, Bear hoped the others would jump in before the girl attacked. He was done offering her an easy way out. There was no reason to argue with ignorance, and Bear had already wasted enough breath. He would only attack defense, but there was no doubt in his mind that the fight was far from over.

Carmen continued to shake her head slightly as this circus continued before her. Closer to Alexander than the other too she hears him respond to her words above all else, the male asking how might assist her in restraining the girl. Restrained in the traditional sense had not been what Carmen was thinking, ropes and the like useless against someone as strong as she was. Unless Alex knew any techniques that might restrain the girl the Makai meant to render her unable to fight…of course that was something her friend was far more capable of doing than she. Still though she hesitated to get directly involved in the fighting even though she considered the shirtless man a friend.(Perhaps not what he thought of her with their limited interaction, but she girl was easily attached to others.) Biting her lip she glances over to see how her friend Anri is fairing, sensing the growing power of Azazel.
To her dismay she saw him caught in a barrage of blasts on the lookout floor, his armored frame disappearing in a cloud of rising dust. Eyes shifting up she could see what she had sensed moments before, the dress wearing woman charging up energy in her hands. The level it had reached beyond anything Carmen had ever felt before, pieces of the Lookout that had been chipped off slowly starting to float into the air in response to the massive power. Part of her wanted to run to Anri and try to defend him, perhaps plead with Azazel to spare his life if he would stand down, but she knew it was pointless. Azazel was not easy to deal with, Anri was too proud to surrender and she was just far too weak to compete with either of them. Most of all she wanted to stay alive; when that attack was released she would be nothing but a hiccup for the attack. Well…if she couldn’t help one friend she was going to help another!
”Let’s just take her out. I defeated her on my own before and if we help Bear I am sure he will join up with us. Please Alexander?” She asks in a low tone to the man standing near her. Having agreed to work alongside him she hoped he would respond to her plea. Regardless of if he agreed to help Bear or not Carmen was prepared to try. With Alexander’s response given, whether yay or nay, she shifts back into a stance as her Tempest rifle materialized in her hands. This very gun had taken care of the girl before, but that was when she had been weaker. The attack she had displayed before seemed incredibly powerful and the pink haired girl was unsure how her own blast might handle it. She had to try.
Legs spread slightly to brace herself for the coming shot she begins to channel energy into the gun. The end of the long barrel begins to glow pink as energy builds up within it, Carmen always preferring to shoot her rifle after charging it. Carla already knew how strong the blast was and how much it was hurt, her empty coin purse a testament to that. Grinning slightly the Makaio’s eye squints some as she looks down the scope at the woman. Aiming the center of her reticle for the woman’s chest she prepares to fire.
(Charge 1 – Tempest Rifle)
