The blade cut through his chest with ease like she had done so many times before. The icejin had been lucky that the blade had not slipped a few more inches center mass as it would have claimed the icejin’s life. The ki faded from around his arm but the creature proved to be quite adept at war. Its tail lurched upwards and wrapped around it trapping the blade within its grasp. His fist came upwards before slamming hard into her side before an eruption of ki launched her across the city as her body smashed through building after building. She would disappear from the icejin’s sight as she came to a rest. The Cardinal of Culture rolled her neck to the side as a bit of frustration snuck across her face. It was rare that someone gave her this much trouble.
It was in those moments of peace she felt a massive power erupt suddenly from a few miles behind her. It far dwarfed her own and her eyes went wide. The Cardinal took off in the opposite direction as she used her faith fibers to pull herself quickly through the air on top of her ability to fly. She could feel the energy sneaking up on the back of her neck. At the last moment she saw a gap in the ground and lashed out with her faith fibers before ripping herself out of the immediate effect of the blast. There the Cardinal of Culture would ride out the storm that was raging above her.
(This blast is in reference to Ninjin blowing himself up against Invictus.)

Frigid's Death Wave connected hard with the pink-clad warrior, and she was blasted away, sword ripped from her grasp. Frigid acted quickly, his tail releasing the blade and dropping to the ground. Clenching his teeth hard, his good hand grasped the circle-like handle of the weapon, and with a mighty yank removed it. With a his of pain, he looked to the air, where the Cardinal flew. Something was off about the way she was acting. Just for a second, Frigid thought he caught sight of a look of terror. And in just as little time, the girl took off in the opposite direction.
Frigid lacked the ability to sense ki, but he didn't need it to figure out what was happening. Taking to the sky himself, scissor-blade in hand, Frigid followed the girl at top speed. He wasn't in great shape, but he could still fly without much problem. Putting the pain aside, he put all his focus into chasing the girl. She felt something strong, and Frigid was going to figure out just what that was.
Had he not been paying such close attention, he might not have caught a glimpse of her ducking into a gap in the ground. She was using her fibers to speed her up and it was working. Frigid was nowhere near as fast as the girl was right now. Putting up as much energy as he could spare, Frigid's golden ki exploded outward and he was propelled into the deep crack just in time for the explosion to pass above him, annihilating everything in it's path.
Letting out a deep sighed of relief, Frigid hunkered down deep inside the crack, assessing his damage. His left arm as a hunk of flesh and nothing more. His tail was cut deeply in two places, where it bled profusely, falling into the abyss below. With a growl, Frigid removed a small green bean from between his plates. Though it might be ideal to save it for later, Frigid knew that he might not have the chance later. Now was the time.
Popping the Senzu Bean into his mouth, he gave it a couple chews and swallowed. It would take only a second, but Frigid's muscles would bulge, his wounds mending. His ripped itself back into place, movement and control of it returned. His tail too would return to it's original state, and it would wag happily in approval. Even the most of his cosmetic damage would be repaired, making him feel as good as new.
His next move was to find the Cardinal, before she found him, and finish things quickly. Soaring though the abyss, he would keep his eyes peeled, in search of her. If he could find her, he would ambush her with a toss of a Drain Grenade, in hopes to wear her down even more. The fight was still far from over.

The planet shook so violently that the buildings around them began to crumble. The chasm she had took shelter in was doing exactly what she had hoped it would. It saved her from what would have surely been her demise. As the explosion faded from view she felt one less power level standing in the general area of that floating energy filled bell. Invictus was proving why Saiyans were pathetic in front of the might of the Universal Church of One, though as her senses extended out around her Iun could sense that the icejin had survived the explosion as well. Suppressing her own energy she would descend deeper into the trench and into the darkness.
There she would zip through the darkness until her eye caught something of interest. Her scissor blade was being held in the hand of icejin. Getting an idea she would quietly wait until the icejin came rushing around the corner looking to further engage the Cardinal of Culture she would toss a rock up into the chasm in order to draw his attention. Once he was looking the opposite direction she would attach some faith fibers to the blade and pull downwards as hard as she could sending him flying deeper into the chasm below.. She would rocket up out of the darkness as ki blasts rained upward from her hand. Iun would zanzoken out of view before reappearing above him with one final strong energy wave down towards the icejin.

Frigid kept his eyes peeled as he flew through the canyon that had formed in the middle of the city. He was going to finish this fight while he had the upper hand. If only he could ambush her, or get her to fall into a trap. Turning a corner, Frigid spotted something move from out of the corner of his eye. Turning his head, he heard the sounds of something hitting against the stone and dirt walls of the canyon. 'What could that have been?' he pondered for a split second before a thought shot through his head. 'What if she was planning to trap me?!'
However, Frigid's realization came too late as the Cardinal's familiar red strands of ki connected themselves to the sword in his hand. Suddenly the lines grew tight and Frigid was flung downwards into the abyss. Spinning quickly to the left, Frigid's tail whipped hard at the fibers, cutting through them with a golden blade of his own. Using his momentum, Frigid sent himself to a wall of the canyon, where he used his ability to fly to cling to the side with his feet. Staring upwards, the Icejin caught sight of the barrage of blasts coming his way.
Anchoring himself to the wall, Frigid took a stance with the Cardinal's sword in his leading hand, and his own blade forming on his right, a golden Death Blade still active on his tail. He would cut her barrage to pieces. As the blasts rained down, Frigid jumped back into the air, spinning in a circle like a top to take out a few blasts. As the blades passed though them as they connected, sending served pieces of unstable ki exploding into the side of the canyon. Her blasts rained down quickly, but having consumed his Senzu Bean, Frigid had his energy completely restored. The same could not be said for the one-armed, pink-clad warrior.
As Frigid danced though the barrage, slicing and dicing, he had a good idea that the girl was up to something else. She was more desperate than he to end this fight quickly. Perhaps she had knowledge of what, or rather whom, had made such a large explosion. All this was more the reason that Frigid would not let himself be taken out.
Letting his two golden blades of ki fizzle into nonexistence, Frigid began to move back. He needed his full energy to help get him out of whatever this trap had in store. As he sliced though a few more blasts with the scissor blade, Frigid noticed movement above him. Head jerking upwards, he spotted the girl with a blast readied and aimed directly for him. Turning himself to face her, Frigid cocked his hand back, hastily forming a Death Wave inside it. Releasing the blast as Iun released her own, Frigid pushed as much energy into the wave as he could, and hopefully it would be enough...
As the blasts connect, it would be a violent display of fireworks, even more spectacular than the final attack in the tournament against Conri. But Frigid would have to push the sight aside and keep his eye where it mattered, aimed at his opponent. Not only that, but the Icejin would have to put all his concentration and focus into his attack. But the question was, which one of them had the better attack?

The beam of ki would rip through her own blasts until the beam slammed into the wall just to her right. The explosion was vast and sent her flying into another wall before getting crushed beneath some of the rocks that had come off of the wall. The weight pinned her to the ground and her blonde hair scattered across the floor. Her face had blood dripping from her scalp. Things had gone very badly for the Cardinal of Culture. But then again that was not entirely surprising. She was the Cardinal of Culture, not war. Battle was something she was able to do but not something she often trained in.
The girl felt her fingers pushing up in the dirt. She had been holding back even still in order to keep the icejin off balance. But she was not sure how much she was going to be able to take. He was proving to be tougher than the reputation for his race initially insinuated. Her breathing hastened as she began to push to her feet. The stones fell by her side and it was then that the dust clung to her pink dress.
“Is that all you have? Cause frankly when the last saiyan falls you will be nothing but an ant under our foot. Or could you not tell that your friend, Ninjin Hattori was gone? The little monkey is nothing more than a smoldering ruin.” She cackled as she simply stared up at the icejin.

To Frigid's surprise, his attack proved to be the strongest as it blasted through the other, tearing it to pieces. Continuing onward, the attack connected hard with the walls behind Iun, tossing her away like a rag-doll as she was caught by the explosion. Frigid could hear her body as it connected with something, but as dust rose into the air, he lost sight of her. Squinting his eyes, Frigid rose higher into the air, his eyes straining to make out any shapes inside the debris. But he was sure she was still in there.
And he was proven correct as her pink-garb rose through the dust, and she opened her big mouth once again, "Is that all you have? Cause frankly when the last Saiyan falls you will be nothing but an ant under our foot. Or could you not tell that your friend, Ninjin Hattori was gone? The little monkey is nothing more than a smoldering ruin."
Frigid's brow rose at the mentioning of his friend's name. Was she bluffing? The more Frigid thought about it, the more it didn't make any since. He'd witnessed Ninjin's power for himself, and even without being able to sense his power level, Frigid was sure he was much more powerful than when they last sparred. But the idea that someone was even more powerful than that? Frigid's experience was limited in this; he was just crowned the second strongest in the galaxy, but how far off could he really be?
For a second, Frigid was really convinced of this, but only for a second. The realization hit him with the weight of a freight-train. The way the explosion shook the planet, the damage it left in its wake. Only someone extraordinarily strong could make a blast as big as that one. The idea left the Icejin dumbfounded, even though the proof was right in front of him, he couldn't believe it; he couldn't let himself believe it.
"You bitch..." Frigid snarled under his breath, confusion turning into rage; the same rage that had built up inside him after Arpatiko.
For just a second he was back there, listening to Arpatiko's lasts words. The Church of One was full of evil liars and this girl was one of them. She was part of the reason people's lives were being ruined, or worse, taken. She might not have been the one pulling the strings, but she was a puppet none-the-less. His hatred for the Church burst back into existence, as if it had never left; and Frigid was once again left with a decision to fight it.
Pointing her own blade at her, Frigid growled, "You're lying! No one could be that strong!" The fire was lit and Frigid was ready to attack; knees bent, ready to spring him towards Iun at the smallest poke. Without even knowing it, the Icejin would make his decision based upon what the girl did next.

The icejin was proving that even though he was perceptive enough to tell where power was that he was too incompetent to realize the implications of war. People fell in war all the time. He had said himself that he was going to kill her and go on to kill her compatriots. He was an icejin for Aon’s sake. They were as vicious a race as saiyans. The race sported the likes of Frieza, King Cold, Cooler and Arctic the current ruler of the icejin. Among those there were at least three megalomaniacs. The jury was still out on Arctic as he had never shown quite the depravity of his ancestors.
“Think on it now. I know you can. The icejin are not only powerful but also intelligent unlike their long time monkey rivals. There are two powers still emanating from the surface. The more powerful of the two powers I can guarantee if the Cardinal of War, Invictus Maneo. The other from what I can feel is your ‘friend’ and former opponent Conri Lane. The one power that is missing is, the Prince of Failures, Ninjin Hattori.” Iun cackled as she began to drift upwards and back slightly hoping to gain a little bit of the shadows to her advantage. She still had one trick up her sleeve but she still didn’t want to use it yet.
“The coward couldn’t handle the true power of the Universal Church of One’s power and decided that death was preferable to what torture lie for him beyond this battle.” The words were meant to sting. If the icejin wanted to fight in a confined space she was more than happy to.

“Think on it now. I know you can. The icejin are not only powerful but also intelligent unlike their long time monkey rivals..." her words faded, Frigid's anger building to a climax.
"There are two powers still emanating from the surface. The more powerful of the two powers I can guarantee if the Cardinal of War, Invictus Maneo..." The feeling of anger began to shift into something different. It was the feeling that Frigid had feared would creep back up on him. He'd named it the "Brute", a title fitting for what it was; when in his Brute form, in the very back of his mind was always that feeling. It was an uncontrollable beast, ready to shed blood. It was something that he truly feared might change him.
"The other from what I can feel is your ‘friend’ and former opponent Conri Lane. The one power that is missing is, the Prince of Failures, Ninjin Hattori." Snapping to reality just long enough to hear the end of her speech, Frigid's eyes widened in disbelief. Snapping shut, he shook his head, "There's no way..." He huffed, grasp tightening on the hilt of his stolen blade.
---
Suddenly all the emotions left his body. All hope was lost. For just a second, Frigid had given up. He hated himself for it, but there was no way he could truly win if Ninjin had done such a thing. Having to blow himself up would have been a last resort. Anyone powerful enough to bring that out... There was no way they could win. Frigid was in a low spot, time feeling as if it stopped, the world beginning to spin around him. It was too much...
The world darkened, fading to black, Frigid left alone. The feeling he had was a scary one; he'd never experienced such a thing, and never wanted to feel it again. As he stood, sulking in the blackness of this demented reality, a call beckoned him from far away, "Friiiigiiiid..." it called, the sound barely a whisper.
Frigid's head snapped in an attempt to make out where the sound had come from, maybe he wasn't all alone.
"Frrriiigggiiid..." The call grew louder, but darkened. The blackness around the Icejin seemed to brighten, however as it faded from black to crimson, Frigid had an idea of what it was.
"FRIGID!" A roar, the voice of a demon. A monster. The Brute... and it was right behind him.
Turning, Frigid was faced with a silloutte of his own brute form, however this one dwarfs him in size. The sight was horrifying, it's power dark in a way he could not explain. A way that could make someone go insane.
"You see it, don't you?" It asked, its voice demented, a sense of humor; as if not caring about anything at all. Frigid stood, speechless. Dark ki licked his face as he watched the figure, helpless.
"You are too weak. You will die here," again, a dark chuckle, then a huff, "Without me."
"N-No." Frigid had finally worked up the courage to speak, but his attempt was a pitiful one, the words coming out as no more than a huff.
"You know I speak the truth," it hissed, clawed hands raising to grasp hard on Frigid's shoulders, nails deeply piercing into his flesh.
"Geeeeyyyyyyyaaaaaaahhhhh!" Frigid let out a scream of pain. He could feel the dark feeling flowing into him from each fingertip. The feeling slowly began to over power the Icejin, but he stubbornly fought with all his might. He couldn't let this monster take over. He couldn't fail his friends. But everyone has their breaking point. And the Icejin has reached his.
Slowly his attempts lessened and lessened. Like a toddler calming from a tantrum, and falling asleep from exhaustion. The Brute had won.
The darkness overwhelmed him completely, his body going limp in the beast's hands. Slowly he fell to the ground as he was released. Suddenly his body would begin to break down, fragmenting off into white lights. Laying beaten, his hand rose in protest, but it was too late. The silhouette turned away and started off, coming into light as Frigid's fingers began to fracture and break away, was his own body, a crackling of black around his golden ki. The last thing he would see as it took over. The last thing he'd hear, a dark and disturbing laugh...
---
“The coward couldn’t handle the true power of the Universal Church of One’s power and decided that death was preferable to what torture lie for him beyond this battle.”
"You'll wish to suffer a similar fate," The voice came from Frigid, however it was not his voice any more. This one was twisted, almost like two voices speaking at the same time. The dominant a raspy and angry demonic tone; the second, a whisper of Frigid, a faint reminder of who he used to be and a tribute to his fallen comrade. "Once I rip your tongue from your head!"
His gaze rose, settling on the pink-clad cardinal, however they were no longer the black beads they used to be. Irises flooded with crimson red, his pupils a cyan dot. Tear ran down his cheeks, as a last tribute to the Frigid that was no more, however the last one came quickly.
His ki exploded outwards as his body tensed, his left leg connected with the wall he'd drifted towards in his moment of delusion, and it exploded, his golden ki crackling with dark-black static, trailing his every move. As he propelled himself at the cardinal he cocked the cardinal's blade back, a demonic, bloodthirsty, megalomaniatic smirk plastered on his face. However, as he neared her, his true intentions would be shown in a violent jerking of his head, horns lashing out in an attempt to impale the girl.
Drawing his tail back, he would whip it towards the girl, from the opposite side as his headbutt, hoping to push her into the screw-like horns and hold her. The attack was risky, as a miss might result in being hit with a counter, but there was little thought in the beast that was now wearing Frigid's skin. If there was any of the real Frigid left, it was hidden deep inside where it would stay, possibly forever; the Brute now free to roam and do as it pleased. And it wanted blood. It merely wanted to kill and destroy. And it wouldn't be stopped until either it, or the pink-garb cardinal were dead.

Iun’s eyes went wide at the sound of the icejin’s voice. Something had changed and it was not for the better. She was not going to be able to toy with him like she had. She was going to have to take this fight much more serious now. Her eyes also showed the change. Whatever had just happened was something she had never heard of before with the icejin race. He would burst forward with intense speed with his horns diving towards her abdomen at the last minute. She would shift to her right and aided with her one good arm she pushed the horns off to the side. However the icejin proved too fast and sent one of his horns stabbing through her left side. She would left out a yell of pain and it was then that she was ready. Red faith fibers began to suddenly and rabidly stitch downwards. By the time they reach her elbow the icejin’s tail was beginning to whip towards her head. It was going to be bang bang as to who won the moment.
It would end up being that Iun’s hand would reform just in time to launch a ki blast into the stomach of the icejin. It was designed to drag his body away and out of her body. From there she was going to fly away from the icejin throwing several more ki blasts at him and the ceiling. She would once again drag the pieces of ceiling down on top of him before jetting off the other direction in hopes of creating a decent amount of distance and give her a chance to hide somewhere.

The pink-cardinal's hand whipped at Frigid, in an attempt to knock him off target, however it did little. His broken right horn was pushed away, but his left one snagged on her abdomen, diving in deeply, no doubt that this screw-like horn would cause some serious damage going in; and even more coming out. Frigid's head turned to the side as she caught sight of the girl's fibrous-ki snaking from her stub, his horn likely burrowing deeper into her stomach in the process.
As the fibers weaved together, they began to shape a hand. Regeneration was something that this new Frigid had not expected. The newly formed hand moved quickly, aiming an explosive blast at Frigid's chest. As the blast connected, Frigid was propelled backwards, ripping his horn from his opponent's stomach. The attack continued as Iun fired a barrage of blasts at him; an obvious hope for gaining distance.
Gritting his teeth against the charred-hide on his chest, Frigid readied his stolen blade. As the blasts neared him, slashing skillfully, Frigid was able to avoid being hit. As the blasts were cut into two, they connected with the walls of the building Frigid had backed into. However, Frigid had not noticed that girls' blasts that were being intentionally aimed for the building's ceiling. As her blasts connected, the building shook, and without warning gave way, crashing down on top of the Icejin.
As the building caved in on itself, Frigid crossed his arms once again, this time suddenly drawing them back behind him, and letting out a powerful roar, he would use his ki to create an Energy Barrier around his body to protect him. The shield formed just in the nick of time as the ceiling crashed down on the floor, the whole structure giving away. Unable to move, Frigid was forced to wait until he could deactivate his barrier, giving the cardinal of culture just what she wanted.
As the last of the bigger pieces fell behind him, Frigid's barrier vanished, and he soared up high into the sky. A wicked snarl on his face, there was no doubt that this new Frigid was pissed. His red eyes narrowed as they scanned his surroundings for any signs of the cardinal. Pointing his palm in front of him, he readied himself to fire a barrage of his own blasts at any sign of her. She wouldn't get away from him that easy.

Iun needed space in order to regain her thoughts and her health. While she had her arm back she needed to deal with the wound that dripped blood from her stomach. She had underestimated the icejin’s ability to hold himself together. Never once did she think that he would have a mental break in any way that was unfolding behind her. This just meant that this was going to need a bit of time to think things out.
As she emerged on the surface of the planet she found that once great city that had adorned Mement Mor’s surface was now not much then ruins. It pained her heart to see that the culture she had worked so hard to build appeared to be being destroyed by the very monkey’s that Aon despised. With a sigh she short through a wall of a ruined small temple of Aon. It was nothing like the Grand Cathedral but it was respectable and had exactly what she was looking for. Scurrying across the floor she would reach the altar that the preacher would normally make his sermons at. With a quick movement she put her fist through it and latched onto a small vial that resided within. It had been a tradition to hide a small vial of Aon’s Blessing, the Church’s own equivalent to those infernal beans. It would only be enough however to heal Iun’s wounds and not that of her missing energy.
Just as she finished the downing the small vial of liquid a large explosion shook the planet and Iun’s head snapped to the origin of it. A look of disgust spread across her face. The Cardinal of War had apparently plunged into the core of the planet and took his life in an effort to keep it from the Saiyan’s hands.
“Tch, seems that that drull set of hollowed out armor was not able to finish the job properly. Now we have to fall back to the Warlock’s lap. This will not stand. I will make sure that his memory is one that is jaded and muddied.” Iun cursed as she began to make her way back to the opening of the temple. There was going to be little time before everything fell apart. She had to make her escape.

It had seemed that the Icejin had lost sight of the pink-cardinal for a moment. However, there was no worry in Frigid's eye; no, they only burned crimson with hatred and anger. There was no room for any other feelings but that. So keeping to the sky, the Icejin kept himself ready to bring hell raining down upon his enemy when he finally spotted her. And, as luck would have it, he wouldn't have to wait long.
Her bright pink clothing emerged from behind a door of a temple of some kind. A sadistic smirk crossed his demonic face; wearing such colors was like wearing a target on your back. Whipping his hand back, he fired a sticky Hell Grenade towards her feet; this would hopefully take her by surprise and anchor her down, leaving her vulnerable to his next attack: a barrage of powerful, golden ki blasts. Having not taken the time to inspect his opponent, he would not notice that she had recovered, nevertheless his attacks were meant to kill.
((Sorry, I had trouble writing this one up... I can change it if need be.))

The planet was falling apart beneath her feet. The weather had already begun to turn as the ground beneath her feet began to buck and crack. The remaining buildings that stood began to shake and crumble as the ground shook violently. There was only going to be a matter of minutes before she needed to find her way to a ship off of the planet. Invictus Maneo had made sure that he dove far into the planets core before taking his own life. She cursed under her breath that the Saiyans had even achieved this monumental feat.
It was then that a barrage of ki began to descend down on Iun Harime. With a curse under her breath she launched several ki blasts of her own only enough to defend herself from the majority of the barrage. The rest of the ki blasts destroyed the small chapel behind her. After getting engulfed in the explosions she would shoot like a rocket through the cloud. She did not have time for this icejin. She had to get off of the planet as fast as she could otherwise this entire fight would have been worthless. The Cardinal of Culture was done fighting this icejin. It was time to go find a ship on the spaceport. If he wanted to get blown up with the planet that was his own prerogative but she had to report back to the Warlock based on what has happened here today.

The pink-cardinal hastily slung her own blasts, a majority of Frigid's being neutralized, the rest colliding behind the girl; bringing a small church crashing to the ground, a cloud of dust exploding outwards and devouring the small fighter. Blasting upwards like a rocket, the dust would explode outwards, like a visible shock wave. Debris rushed the Icejin, causing him to shield his eyes with a forearm, as it pelted him like hail-stones. Though non-damaging to his thick hide, it was nuisance enough for the cardinal to make her escape.
As the dust settled, Frigid looked around, his only worry confirmed. She had fled, and without being able to sense her ki, there was no doubt she was lost. Letting out a ground-shaking roar of anger, the Icejin admitted his defeat. He was now a monster of rage; however, that did not mean he was clueless. He could feel the planet rumbling, there was little doubt it would only be moments until it met its end. It was even more likely that the cardinal would parish with it, unable to find a ship, or salvation in time.
A smirk slid over the Icejin's face as he stood on the dying planet, savoring the sight up to the last second. No; he would not parish. He was an Icejin; a race bred to stand up against all odds, and even survive with no oxygen, in the vacuum of space. And that would be exactly where he'd find his salvation. However, it was not every day one could enjoy such a sight, so close. The monster that was Frigid licked his lips as he watched buildings crumble and the ground splitting. Some cracks were so deep that lava burst out of them, like a freshly inflicted wound. With terrible, and frightening, beauty, this planet was dying. It seemed so fitting that the Pink-cardinal would have to parish with it.
