Standing at the middle of her newly reinstalled simulator Akassa was more than ready to use the machine again. The first and only time she had used the link feature was before her home had been reduced to rubble. Matched up against a female android she had lowered her own power to match it more closely so that the session was actually worth it for the then Princess. Hopefully today was going to be different, a powerful foe put up against her so that she might test out her new strength. Of course it was very unlikely that whoever or whatever it was she was matched up against would actually be a true challenge for her. After all she was the strongest being in the known Universe as far as she knew. Who could really stand against her full power?
Smirking at the thought she feels the machine hum a little as it comes to life, beginning to alter the landscape around her to that of a random planet. As grass began to shimmer into existence under her boots she snorts some as she thinks it to be the grass of Earth, disappointed the machine was being bland enough to put her on a planet she could visit with ease. However, the hue of the blades began to change, shifting to a blue instead of the telltale green that covered the fields of Earth. For a moment she didn’t recognize the rolling hills that were forming around her. As the seconds roll on though she remembered her studies as a child, the pictures she had been shown of Namek, home to the green skinned Namekians.
The Queen had never travelled to the planet, the place having no appeal to her and nothing to offer now that she ruled New Vegeta. The all male species was stuck in its old ways even more so than what you might accuse the Saiyan people of. In the future she strove to change that view of her people, but knew the Namekian’s prided themselves on such things. Ultimately it didn’t matter; any setting would suffice as long as she got to fight. Even if they had arrived in a realm with no solid ground and only clouds she was going to excel. Years of training and naturally engrained instincts made her the formidable fighter she was today.
Now all she need do was wait for her opponent to be appear. Machines like this one had been designed with a masking feature, allowing their users to hide their identities with an avatar. Her first time she had started with such a cover, but in the end had transformed into Oozaru. With the illusion of the human girl she had been gone the Princess had cared little of hiding herself after that. Queen now she had no reason to conceal her identity, let all she fought against know exactly who it was they were going to face. Slowly crossing her arms over her chest she waits. This best not be a disappointing session. (Currently at base power, not SSJ)

Today was another day of firsts for Ethan just as so many had been since he had left home and jurnied to the city after his brother some months ago. While the blue haired boy had been devoting his early funds into the restoration of the school's grounds and purchasing for himself a set of training weights that were infinitely more practical then the clunkers his brother Kit wore, that very same older brother had invested in some infrastructure for the school, namely in the form of a piece of training equipment that could apparently not only vary the weight of all objects within it's field, but also project a holographic, artificial environment. The equipment had been installed weeks ago by Kit's own hand, with of course a little help from Ethan to make sure the more technical bits were taken care of, little things like making sure the right type of electrical cabling had been used so the building didn't burn down in the middle of a training session. Yet in all the time since the machinery had sat unused, stagnant and repose since Kit had wandered off on his own. Like the school it's self, Ethan was beginning to feel he should put that equipment to use even though his brother hadn't actually given him the go ahead and had not yet returned to do so. Still, to leave such an expensive machine unused to say nothing of untested seemed a crime to the blue haired teen so shortly after breakfast, and with no appointments scheduled until later in the afternoon, Ethan set about doing just that.
Venturing into the training area after clearing away the breakfast dishes, the shirtless teen approached the control panel of the combination gravity pump and holographic projector and switched the system on. The panel lit up, booted through a quick startup sequence and in moments was ready to run, displaying a selection of options ranging from different environments, gravity levels and an interesting looking feature, a communications terminal that seemed to connect to some form of inter-web. The instructions on how to use the machine were scant in not nonexistent so Ethan would be forced to learn the workings of the device by trial and error, something that might get dangerous if he ever selected the wrong gravity setting as the available scale seemed to go quite high and the teen didn't particularly think he'd stand up to his compact, hundred and sixty pound frame suddenly weighing a couple of tons. Still, if he could learn more about the machine then his brother had in the time that he'd been installing it, then he once again could be in a position to teach the older blonde and that was a very appealing thought to the blue haired boy.
Deciding to start with something benign, Ethan selected the communications port option and executed it, which in turn brought of a list of available terminals that were currently in operation. They seemed to be scattered all about and in cities with names the teen could hardly pronounce let alone recognize. Some of the terminals seemed to already be in sessions as well while others were open and seeing as he didn't want to be rude in his exploration by barging into a training session that was already in progress, Ethan restricted the list to idle, open terminals and then further organized it by distance from him. The first one on the list was indicated as being more then a quarter million miles away ad with yet another city name he didn't recognize, which in and of it's self made the boy think the system was already buggy. Still, it was worth a shot to see just what would come up and so he selected that first candidate and entered into the session. Little did the blue haired teen know that he was in fact contacting a terminal on Earth's moon and still even more inconceivable was the fact that the terminal belonged to one of the royal family who ruled that half desolate sphere.
Hearing the holographic projectors start to hum with the high voltage that would allow them to alter the world around him, Ethan turned away from his terminal to see the features of the dojo twisting and warping into an unrecognizable mishmash of color that would continue to undulate in this foreign nature for a moment before starting to take the semblance of a world of rolling hills and strangely discolored grass. The image continued to clear over the next few seconds as the shirtless boy stood by, watching in amazement at how real it all looked now, not believing he was still actually standing in the dojo, only now supported by a force field so that his movements would not send him careening through a wall, no matter how far he ran within the simulation. Then at once, an instant after the hologram attained crystal clarity, the form of a woman materialized. She dark hair with a red streak was shorter then him by about a head. She also looked to be none to patiently waiting, arms crossed over her chest and curiously enough, her left hand, what little of it the boy could see, seemed to be made of white plastic or some other artificial material. Well there didn't seem to be any sense standing there in silence now that she was visible to him and presumably he to her, so the blue haired teen raised his right hand in a friendly wave.
"Morning. Nice... blue hills you have here." the boy issued with a warm smile.

If only physic directly reflected ones actual power. Had this been the case the shirtless male that shimmered into existence before her would have been impressive. With a tone, muscular upper half he looked to be someone who spent plenty of time conditioning his body. Not as solid looking as most Saiyan warriors, he possessed a leaner figure, but not near as slender as the Queen herself. Sadly his physical fitness was the only impressive thing about him, the signature that radiated from him barely that of your average soldier. While normally nothing to scoff at, warriors of the average caliber were not often compared directly to Akassa. If that was ever the case than the entirety of New Vegeta’s military would be considered quite pathetic.
Still, she was not going to allow this to be complete loss. Like during her first session she begins to suppress her own signature, pushing it gradually down towards half of its current level. Not able to do so instantly she decides to indulge the male in a little bit of dialogue, his casual attitude leading her to believe he was one to enjoy conversation. Unfolding her arms so she does not come off as too bored with who she had been matched up against the Queen turns to face him, casually walking closer as her tails sways behind her. Closing in on his position she makes no attempt to mask the movements of her eyes as they scan him up and down. Forward and often blunt she was a confident woman, not afraid to act boldly if the moment called for it.
”They are not mine. I am only borrowing them, just like you. What is your name? I am Akassa Hattori, Queen of New Vegeta.” The title rolled off her tongue like she had spoken it countless times. In fact it was something she rarely had to say, most realizing who she was and offering her some sign of respect without a word being uttered. The wave and warm smile instead of wide eyes and mouth agape implied he was not familiar with her. He did look young after all, not so young that he was a child, but perhaps young enough that he was not so involved with the ways of the world. Although, it would be hard to believe he had never heard of her, especially now that the name had been given.
With her own energy levels still dropping she realizes half of her normal strength was going to be far too much for her opponent to handle. Wanting to actually gain from this experience she focuses her will more, signature dipping even farther down than what was normal. Often cocky and with good reason, she was not foolish enough to believe that there wasn’t something useful here. If able to suppress her power low enough so this boy would prove a challenge for her, the match would be beneficial. The more foes and fighting styles one learned to fight, the better warrior you would become.

As more of the world became visible around Ethan and as the woman across from him responded, it downed on the boy just how alien the environment was and more interestingly so, how alien she was. The strange, blue grass aside, there appeared to be three sources of light in the sky, two suns near to overhead and a third peeking out from behind the hills. His companion in the simulation seemed just as alien as the terrain now that she'd turned and in addition to the prosthetic hand, the blue haired teen could now plainly see she also sported a tail. The think was just waving around behind her as if it had a mind of it's own as the woman replied, commenting first that the hills weren't her, likely meaning this was a simulation of a completely separate world then either of them had come from, and then going on to identify herself as of all things, a queen.
Ethan, ever the jokester had plenty of material to work with already between the tail and her claim to be a queen, but the name of her city, or maybe it was a planet reminding him too much of a big gambling city he'd heard of once, New Vegas or something along those lines. Ethan's seclusion from the matters of politics was rather complete, owing to his upbringing in the confines of his family's mountain compound and even now as he resided on the outskirts of Central City was the boy only learning that there are other races floating about in the heavens. In either case, a rye smile crossed his lips as he held back a cheeky reply and simply returned the introduction.
"Well I'm pleased to meet you ma'am...Er... Queen, my name's Ethan, Ethan Snow, My brother and I run the Crane school in Central City." the boy replied in his usual friendly tone, a bit of a contrast to the Queens somewhat dry response. "So, New Vegeta, is that near South City? Oh, and what do I call you anyway? Ma'm, Lady, Miss? Queen's a little cumbersome isn't it?" Ethan added, swinging his arms back and forth casually to loosen up. Truthfully he was starting to get a little worried, what if this machine really had connected him to some royal person somewhere, what was he going to do to keep her entertained? More importantly then that though was, how would he manage to wiggle around actually striking her if she insisted on using these machines for what they were built to do, facilitate sparring matches between remote opponents. Her clothing didn't exactly look to be particularly fancy which in and of it's self was casting a little doubt in Ethan's mind that she was in fact a queen. Regardless of it she was or not, it wasn't proper to strike a lady, unless of course she hits you first. 'What the heck am I going to do?' the boy thought to himself as he stopped swinging his arms and simply folded his up behind his head in about as relaxed a posture as he could manage, unfortunately there was no tree hand for him to lean again else he would have done just that.

Cocking her head to the side at the way he addressed her, a small bit of amusement creeps onto her face. He really hadn’t heard of her had he? The boy and his brother ran a school on Earth and had never heard of Akassa Hattori, it was surprising to say the least. His home must be secluded in some way as there was no other explanation for his question. New Vegeta was on the Moon, the Saiyan civilization around for centuries and known to all that lived on the nearby planet. Well…not all it seemed. Normally she would not have patience for someone as weak as he, but admittedly his lack of knowledge about her had her intrigued. The fact he was from Earth and ran a Crane School, gave her little to go off in terms of his origins.
”You may call me Akassa for the duration of this session. That guess is quite far off; New Vegeta is on the Moon. Have you not heard of the Saiyan people? I am their Queen. I suppose if all of this means nothing to you it really doesn’t matter, our pasts have nothing to do with us sparring do they? If it is alright with you I would prefer to get fighting, I find that the best way to learn about another is to engage them in combat. Words can be so…hollow.” Her father had lied to her for years, two decades actually. She had thought she had known him, understood him, but all she knew turned out to be a façade. In his last moments when she had engaged him in combat she had learned who he truly was, a coward. The fight had only strengthened her belief that combat was the best way to understand another.
Having continued to lower her power it was finally down to his level. Taking another moment she locks the restriction on her strength in check, not wanting to have to focus as much on it once the fighting began. Part of her had to wonder though, how serious he was about all of this. His demeanor and the way he so casually rested his hands behind his head lead her to believe he wasn’t really looking for a fight. Perhaps he just wasn’t as aggressive a fighter as she? That was a very possible answer, her style and personality did tend to be a little headstrong. No bother, if he stalled for too long she would just go at him, forcing him to defend himself for take a beating. With a roll of her neck she levels her gaze at him, lips curling into an inviting smile.”Lets begin.”

"Really? The Moon? Earth's Moon?" the boy responded, not believing his ears. "Well isn't that something, Queen of the Moon." he added trying not to look as amused by the absurdity of the thought as he was. Last Ethan had heard, the Moon was a dusty rock occupied by nothing but a vacuum and some ancient landers from ages long past. To think that a whole civilization could spring up there without people knowing was a little hard to swallow. Granted there was the possibility that he simply hadn't heard about it because it was common knowledge outside of his family compound and no one spoke about it in the city because it wasn't considered anything special. That possibility meant that Ethan was about fifty-fifty on whether he believed what this Akassa was saying, she could be exactly what she claimed, or she could be a nut. In either case she didn't seem to have talking any more on her mind and expressed a distinct desire to have a poke at the boy, something that didn't exactly make him comfortable.
While the shirtless teen was sure he could defend himself, the question lingered in his mind, was it proper to do so? She certainly seemed to think it was and was evidently quite eager to start but Ethan didn't know how to go about justifying striking a woman to himself. The only time he could imagine it would be if he was in actual danger, but this sparring match wasn't supposed to be dangerous, was it? What would be the logic in marketing a machine that could end up getting you killed? One might try to debunk that argument by using automobiles as a counter example but at least they contained safety features like seat belts and air bags. With this machine, there seemed to be no feature to protect the user from simply having their neck snapped by another user. This meant the only way out if faced against a homicidal maniac would be to stay near the controls, which at this point Ethan had lost complete track of, or be more then capable of smashing said maniac into the virtual dirt.
In either case, whether this Akassa was a maniac or not, Ethan still had no intention of striking her first and so would leave that to her as it would also allow the boy to gauge just what kind of danger he might be in and with that, help him resolve his conflict. "Well ma'... Akassa, I've always found that a good conversation is a great way to get to know someone, but if you insist on getting started, I suppose we could talk some more afterwards." the boy replied. "Being I kind of invaded your simulation here though, I'll give the honor of the first strike to you." the shirtless teen added. 'There, at least I can say she hit me first. Boy I hope Kit does get back and see this.' Ethan thought to himself ad he awaited Akassa's response, whether it be physical or verbal. The half dressed teen held his relaxed pose for a few moments though, his arms folded up high leaving him wide open all over and his musculature loose. If Akassa didn't jump right at him and take advantage of the purposeful opening, the boy would wait only a moment longer before unclasping his hands, closing them into fists and bringing them down to protect his face. His musculature though would for the moment remain loose, particularly the large opening he was leaving at his midsection.

It was something, more than this undereducated boy seemed to realize. For centuries the Saiyan's had lived on the moon so any source he had found about what might be found on the moon with that description, must have been ancient. Of course she had no idea how secluded his upbringing might have been and from her standpoint it would be impossible for someone to not know who she was. With pride no doubt clouding that perception it seemed it was news to this one, the shirtless human giving off an aura of free spiritedness despite who he stood across from. Still watching him as he maintained his relaxed stance she couldn't help but smirk at his invitation. Many might try and defer themselves, but not Akassa.
Always an aggressive fight she had no problem delivering the first blow. Should she call on her full power the first blow was all she needed to drop most opponents. Admittedly she had not been on any missions post ascension, but considering the immense power her Super Saiyan form possessed, not many had the strength to withstand her. Part of her wanted to truly test that notion, her sparring matches with Ezekiel and Nasu not the real scenario she desired. A Saiyan always wished to test herself and although only half-saiyan genetically, Akassa's heart was pure. If only her body had matched her heart, how different might things be now?
With her power level now suppressed to half of its maximum and her weights further dampening her signature the Queen's power level sat right around 51,146...still double his. All well, it was going to be a quick fight after all. "I believe quite the opposite, combat is the best way to get know another. I feel an individual, regardless of race, is the closest to their true self when in combat. A fast paced fight forces one to rely on their instincts, allowing them to react naturally to a situation without any ulterior motives altering their reactions. Let me show you."
Rolling her neck for a moment Akassa acts as if she is going to fully accept his invitation and come at him. The former was true, but her first offensive choice might not have been what the blue haired human expected. Shifting her left foot back it would appear to be the beginning of a charge, yet instead her right hand snaps up. Palm facing him and fingers outstretched she reaches for him with not her arm, but her mind. Gripping him with her telekinetic powers she yanks the arm back, the motion assisting her focus, as she attempts to rip him right off his feet. Currently at about double his power the task should be an easy one. Pulling him through the air she moves him on a direct line for her person, timing it just right so that her left fist can drive forward into his wide open abdomen as he comes within range. All things successful Akassa then tosses him to the side, hoping now he understood her better. The Queen was not here to play around.

Leaving himself so wide open may have been a bit of a mistake, but it was Ethan's mistake to make and the shirtless young man was about to feel the consequences of it. Before that though
the boy's opponent professed to believe in the exact opposite philosophy of getting to know people then he did, through combat rather then through conversation. Ethan wanted to laugh and
make a snarky comment about how her method for getting to know someone was just as flawed as she thought his to be and to illustrate that by explaining that one can be just as dishonest in a fight as they can be in words simply by changing fighting styles or fighting more or less aggressively if victory in said conflict is not in fact important to them. In fact the aggressive portion of his own style was not even going to come into play in this little adventure, only the flashy portion would be utilized, an action that would lead his opponent to think that the boy was flamboyant but combatively passive person when in fact the truth was that Ethan could be just as aggressive as anyone else and indeed in fights tended to be, which usually resulted in him taking more hits then he usually should. Unfortunately for him Akassa wasn’t going to give him the chance to do so as without missing a beat, she assumed a combat stance and surprisingly reached out for him in spite of the distance between the two. Ethan’s arms were still up behind his head when a strange sensation of his center of mass being pulled forward overtook him and before the teen knew what was going on, his feet had left the ground and he was hurtling towards the young woman opposite him.
“Oh shiiiiiii… Oooooooph!…”
The attack was picture perfect and executed with potentially deadly precision, Akassa’s strength was phenomenal and when her fist impacted Ethan’s stomach, the boy was in the worst possible position. Not only had he left his own abdominal muscles loose, his arms were up, stretching out the target area and worse still, the motion of his body being pulled forward had left him bending backwards at the moment of impact, further stretching out his already vulnerable middle. In the blink of an eye though the blue haired teen went from bending backwards to folded fully over Akassa’s arm, his chest coming down on her forearm and his head narrowly missing the rest of her artificial limb as her fist sank literally all the way to his backbone. Ethan’s body quivered as he hung there for a moment before being unceremoniously tossed to the side, tumbling over once or twice to come to rest on his hands and knees. Still shaking from the shock of taking such an impact undefended, Ethan tried not to throw up right then and there as he gasped for air. Never before had he taken a punch quite like this one and the only ones similar were fight-ending blows delivered by is older brother. This could be though, this was the beginning of their bout, not the end, Ethan couldn’t let it end this quickly, It wouldn’t be fair to his virtual guest and certainly wouldn’t do his pride any good. He didn’t know what to do though, a sickening feeling of defeat was rolling through his body in waves, all emanating from the section of his flesh that had just been brutalized and that was only the opening blow.
Folding his right hand into his midsection in a vain attempt to relieve the pain from the blow, Ethan rocked back and forth on his knees for a few more moments while trying to work up the resolve to get back up. Such a punch to the stomach though was more then enough to completely obliterate most people’s resolve, but Ethan couldn’t just give up, he never did, even in training if he was going to lose, he’d always forced his brother to knock him out and this sparring match wasn’t going to be any different. Sure there was also the niggling irritation that he was getting his butt kicked by a woman, but what a woman. The disparity in strength between them was enough to dull that irritation though as it seemed she was at least on par with Kit and if she were interested, might make an interesting training partner for the two of them. Ethan made a mental note while he was still hunched over on the ground, to bring her up to Kit next time he saw his brother. Even without that particular irritation to motivate him however, the blue haired teen’s desire to continue won out and after a few more breaths, the boy hauled himself back to his feet, all be it looking sick as a dog, and turned to face Akassa, bringing his fists up into a defensive posture and cracking a strained smile.
“That was pretty good. Won’t be as easy to do it again though.” the boy issued and started to carefully close, step by step towards the young woman.

They were most definitely from different worlds. Perhaps her perspective was more due to her military upbringing than anything else. Today the pair of them was only sparring or at least that is the premise they had met under. More often than not a fight was a struggle to survive not some test of strength. Akassa had spent her life fighting against others from soldiers to warriors of countless races looking to take her head. That was why fighting someone gave her so much insight into their character. When a creature was at the end of its life was when it was most honest to its true self. How many had she known better than those they called friends? The brave warrior often turned out to be a coward when he was the one facing his end. Very rarely did the front individuals put on portray who they really were.
Aer Nin had attacked her home while spouting words about her faith and that the Saiyan race was an abomination to the Universe. Throughout their entire fight the wench had ranted about her superiority and devotion yet in the end, when she was bested, had taken her own life. She claimed it to be one last act of devotion to her god, but Akassa saw it for what it was…cowardice. Having failed her mission the Cardinal feared what being taken alive might mean. The façade she had put on was nothing but a mask. She wondered what mask Ethan wore, this relaxed display no more than an act. Or at least she had thought it to be…
He really was letting her take the first shot.
The whole time he had been coming towards her through the air Akassa had assumed it was all some ploy to lower her defenses. Even with the difference in power, and apparent skill level, she was prepared to counter should he alter his course once he drew close. The attempt never came though; instead his body wrapped around her artificial forearm like a folded matchbook. Even though she had struck his midsection she swore she felt her knuckles brush against bone. The sensors in her metal limb were as sensitive as her organic ones, perhaps even more so, and they knew the difference between the softness of tissue and the solidness of bone.
The sensation didn’t remain for long as she throws the boy off to the side. Watching his body hit the dirt and roll she had to give him credit that he ended up on all fours and not flat on his back. On top of that he was still alive…a plus considering she did want to get in some training today. Her own simulator had a failsafe in case her life was to truly be in danger in which case it would cut the link. Honestly though she was unsure if such a thing existed for all models. Maybe she would find out by the end of this.
The warrior Princess turned Queen had no qualms about killing another in combat. No matter the setting she gave her all and expected the same of her opponents. Only Nasu and Ezekiel would receive different treatment and that was only if they did not provoke enough to anger her beyond reason. This boy, whoever he was, needed to take this serious or it was going to cost him. As friendly as she could be Akassa was a dangerous woman, especially when she didn’t get what she wanted.
”I hope you are capable of more than words.” The Queen replies with a playful smirk. Combat made her happy though, there was no way around it, and Akassa enjoyed a good fight more than anything.
As Ethan began to carefully close the distance she had created between them her head cocks to the side. So cautious…so boring. Not one to prolong combat in any fashion Akassa burst towards him. After two steps she leaps, bukujutsu aiding her movements as her lithe form launches into the air. Covering the space between them in the blink of an eye her right arm cocks back with the goal of driving across his jaw as she drops down in front of him. Should the blow connect and he remain standing or if he managed to dodge Akassa would follow it with a flurry of punches and kicks. If the blow leveled him like the first Akassa would…be disappointed.

"Hah! You'll have to try and hit me again to find out." Ethan chuckled back.
Ethan's taking one step at a time and moving cautiously had sound reasoning behind it, he could tell just from the first punch, and the very unorthodox way in which it was delivered that he was evenly if not actually outmatched, something a more insecure guy might not admit to himself. Knowing that that this strange, Moon queen lady had at least one dirty trick up her sleeve and probably more where it came from, his slow progress was to ensure he had maximum reaction time should she pull something else and to give him the most possible time to observe her as well. That cautious observation paid off in that it was evident by her next action that she lacked patience, which ironically was something one would expect from a boy of Ethan's age, not a 'queen.' While the speed with which she launched herself was quite impressive and made the blue haired boy almost think she was capable of flying, the distance he'd banked on was still on his side.
His youth not withstanding though, Ethan was well versed in several forms of self defense and that training being on an almost instinctual level thanks to the abnormally young age at which his training had begun, worked almost without thought. While a less experienced fighter might have been dazzled by the speed at which the woman was hurtling towards him and now winding up to level a punch across his jaw, Ethan was remarkably composed. The boy's training in judo took over the driver's seat, sidelining the kickboxing he was originally intending to use an in an instant his fists opened and he turned his palms outwards. She closed further. Like lightning the two met but it was not to be for long, or even really a true collision, instead Ethan intended to grab her incoming fist with his right hand and allow it to continue forward, just redirecting it far enough to the side to miss his face. This would of course leave Akassa overextending as the punch missed and that was where Ethan's left hand came in. Provided all went well, the boy intended to grab his opponent by the belt and use he already considerable momentum to toss her onto the ground on his opposite side. While defending himself, this particular move also ensured he satisfied his desire to not actually strike the young woman, at least not until she proved to be threatening enough. It also provided he with another avenue of attack, psychologically. If she really did have this little patience, then perhaps proceeding deliberately slowly and parrying would eventually tire her out. That in mind and again assuming all when to plan and Akassa ended up on her backside, Ethan would take a step back and resume his earlier defensive posture, bouncing lightly from foot to foot and purposely passing up an opportunity to follow up.

Leading with her fist Akassa was almost always a headstrong fighter, prefer to land a blow even if it allowed her foe to strike in return. Over the years her lithe form had increased in toughness over and over again, far more durable than one might think when looking at the small Queen. The power within her played a large role in that as well, granting her the resilience to take blows that would level other individuals. While proficient in offense such headstrong tactics did often leave a fighter open for counterattacks, her initiative and aggression when it came to attacking often readable when she had not yet fully committed. Having underestimated Ethan up until this point, his light attitude and easy going demeanor leading her to believe he was not serious.
Fist driving forward he redirects the blow perfectly, her strike barely missing its intended target. Using her own momentum against her the human twists, pulling her soaring body forward more and up over his shoulder. For a moment her world was flipped upside down, looking at the sky before she was driven hard into the ground. Letting out a grunt from the sudden impact she was experienced enough to tighten the muscles in her back in order to soften the blow. Saving herself from having the air blasted from her lungs the slam did not keep her down for long.
With Ethan having already backed away she kicks, the strength of the motion snapping her body up off the ground to land on her feet. Back to him she hides her right arm from his view as Ki cascades down the appendage. Taking the shape of a Ki whip, the weapon was half formed before she starts to turn. Snapping her right arm out towards him the whip finishes materializing as it snaps out, looking to wrap around his ankle. If successful Akassa would yank hard, trying to rip his leg out from under him. Pulling him through the air she would twist again and attempt to drive him down into the ground on the other side of her, similar to what he had just done to her.

Ethan was quite pleased to see his judo wasn't rusty in the slightest as evidenced by the relative ease with which he managed to redirect Akassa's blow. She was strong though, there was no denying that now and he would have to be careful. Worse still, she was wily, that invisible hand trick of hers could be dangerous and Ethan knew he'd have to be on the lookout for it again, perhaps even find a way to use it against her. Backing off as he'd done, the boy watched as the moon queen launched herself back to her feet and took up a different pose then earlier. Ethan knew something was up but what it was he couldn't tell, Akassa was a bran new opponent with moves he'd never seen before. He speed too was problematic, she seemed to outclass him in every statistic the boy could think of, except hopefully for determination. He'd forced his brother to knock him out in fights before and if she thought she'd have an easy win, she had another ting coming. Likewise, Ethan hoped that she wasn't as tolerant of discomfort as he was and would back down if things heated up.
The whip though was a surprise by every stretch of his imagination. Ethan had some basic practice in molding his ki energy, his board being the only example and he'd read if it being used to create swords, axes and other such weapons in the books Kit had given him to study, but those were all static objects. the fact that this whip was animated blew the boy's perception of what could be done with his energy completely out of the water. Unfortunately for him that moment of astonishment was enough to land him in the proverbial dog house. The whip snatched his leg like the two were opposing magnetic polls and before he knew it, the shirtless boy was once again airborne. The world spun around him and kept on spinning after he crashed into the ground. His bare back getting a slight rug burn from the ground as he slid a few feet was nothing compared to the brain-rattling impact to the back of his head upon landing. The boy groaned, unused to such concussive forces being applied to his head, the world continued to spin and his arms dropped out to the sides as he tried to focus his vision on the rotating clouds above.

Her Ki whip was one of the first techniques she had learned, a custom weapon of her own creation. In her time she had not seen another one like it, most electing to create solid weapons in combat. Having adapted that to her Ha-Ken technique she tried to be as versatile as possible, spreading out her skills so that she could hold her own against anyone that she came across. Such versatility and perhaps experience was why she had Ethan on the ropes at the moment. The yank from her whip arm had sent him flying as intended, his shirtless form sliding across the ground after impacting. Turning as she watches him slide away from her the Queen smirks some, cracking the energy whip out to the side as she walks towards him.
”Are you finished already? For some reason I feel as if you are holding back Ethan. If that is the case I must request that you truly put forth your best effort. I use my simulator to train and grown stronger, not waste my time. I enjoy a good fight, but only if my opponent is willing to test me.” With those words she stays where she is, not taking another step towards him. Usually an aggressive fighter Akassa was allowing him to get back to his feet. Whether he was underestimating her or this was simply the limit of his abilities, she was not sure. Either one of those would be disappointing. Clicking her tongue she shifts her stance some, non-whip hand resting on her hip, not exactly realizing what the whole pose might look like. Eyes on him she waits to see what his choice will be.

"Ugh....You know lady, you really don't play very fair." Ethan half grunted as he gathered himself back into a sitting position and then finally hauled himself back to his feet. On his way up though he was making up his mind. Clearly this lady was at least a little dangerous and she clearly had no qualms about beating up a teenaged boy and frankly Ethan had had about as much of that as he was going to take. His mother's lessons in etiquette while important to him, had their limits and they had now been exceeded. How to strike her though was the question now, granted that seemed blatantly simple, with his fists. But the real trick would be getting his fists to where they needed to be without her escaping. She was faster and stronger and a little wily, but perhaps not so much so as he was, yes, distraction and surprise would have to be his tools now.
"I mean, come on, invisible hands, whips..." the boy went on, adding a stumble to his step as he started forward. The first one was just for effect, make himself look even more worse off then he was. "...I feel like I'm in some weird cross between a naughty film and a funhouse ride..." Then another stumble and now the fall. Tripping himself up, Ethan put his new plan into motion, stumbling and falling forward, the boy threw his left arm out as if to catch himself but in reality, the instant his fingers touch the grass, a sizable explosion issued forth fueled by a serge of the boy's energy. In that same instant as a blinding cloud of fly dirt was sent flying up, so was the boy, propelled for the first second by the force of the explosion itself and then an instant later as his board formed under his feet, by his own energy. Ethan only hoped his little trick would both confuse Akassa long enough for him to get the drop on her and also not leave a hole in the floor of the simulator as he really didn't want Kit angry at him for breaking the thing right after getting it working. Ethan kept the arc of his flight and short, and fast as he could to make maximum use of the distraction, looping right up and over his target to come in from behind. There was still a little twinge in the back of his mind that what he was doing was wrong, but that wouldn't stop him now, it was she that started playing dirty, now he was just playing the same game. Careening around in the tight arc, Ethan came swooping down behind the moon queen, extending out his right arm in order to clothes line her in the back of the head as he bolted by. Should he succeed, the boy intended to give her no quarter, knowing how fast and strong she was, he would turn around and come at her from the right side, with a stiff left hook into her ribs on his second pass. Only then would he pause to gauge the effectiveness of the blows, turning back to face what should be her left side and bringing his arms up into a high defensive posture once more.

Taking in his words, Akassa wondered if her strikes had made him a bit loopy. Combat was hardly the time for suck jokes in her opinion, but then again Conri Lane was rather similar in that aspect. On several occasions he had taken his jokes to far, earning him the then Princess' wrath. Perhaps it was something to do with the blue hair? That might be worth studying to see if there was any correlation. Or maybe he was just a bit dizzy, his stumbling an indication that maybe she hadn't been holding back enough. Supressing her power a bit more she was about to question if he was ready to continue when he fell to the ground, or at least that is what it seemed until an explosion had him disappearing in a cloud of dirt.
Grass and dust filling the air, she squints in an attempt to see through it, not having noticed he was arching up out of the cloud and behind her. Akassa notices only when his forearm slammed into the back of her head, the blow eliciting a grunt from the Queen. It wasn't enough to bring her down, but it did stagger her, the female reacting by twisting and trying to throw her own forearm out to smack the boy out of the air. He was gone though, having zipped away on whatever device he was using to fly. In fact he had used the moment she took to react to zip around for another pass, driving his fist into her ribs. Gasping out some she staggers again, pain spiking up her side.
Regaining her composure she was ready for another, but it didn't come as he takes a defensive stance. Leveling a glare at him she seemed angry at first, but then the grin spread across her lips. "Finally!" Her whip disappearing as she reduced herself to bare hands, both forming into fists. Taking in a deep breath she rushes him, leading with a right hook for his jaw before spinning with the momentum to bring her left foot around in a spin kick. Back to basics.
