Kaladar as impressed that Brandon was quick enough to throw up a defensive looking shield, successfully blocking his palm strike. The shield immediately shattered from the force of the attack. Brandon was quick enough, but there wasn’t enough strength behind the shield to keep its form. Kaladar immediately felt Brandon grab onto his arm and went for an uppercut. His fist would slam into Kaladar’s chin, causing Kaladar to take a few steps backward.
“Good to see that you are quick enough to defend and counter against your opponent. But you still have a lot to learn Brandon.”
Kaladar collected his thoughts and then shot off the ground straight for Brandon. Kaladar would throw many different combinations of punches and kicks against Brandon. Each attack hitting a different part of Brandon’s body. Kaladar wanted to see how fast Brandon could react to Kaladar’s speed. If he truly wanted to become the next Guardian he was going to have to get faster at his attacks. Brandon had a lot to learn, but Kaladar was going to teach him and hopefully he will be able to prove a worthy replacement for Guardian.

"There is always new stuff to learn, no matter how much you know."He said, smiling as his uppercut hits its mark and had its intended effect.
Althought it didnt take long for Kaladar to recover and start to rush him, Brandon immediately put energy into his feet, and used his projection technique to leap up high into the air, avoiding Kaladar's onslaught of punches and kicks.
Seeing this as an opportunity to show off his ranged attacks, Brandon cupped his hands to his side as he looked down at Kaladar as he started to say "Kame...". A Ball of red energy formed quickly inbetween his palms. The ball would quickly grow in size, as Brandon added "Hame...", and if Kaladar knew his techniques, It was quite possible that the Guardian of Earth would immediately recognize the Tecnique Brandon was about to unleash upon him.
Quickly thrusting his palms forward, Brandon shouted "HAAAA!" a the ball of energy burst into a large beam of raw power that soared right at Kaladar himself. The force of the attack would be enough to keep Brandon in the air, for now...

Eyes’ following him as Brandon leaps up and over him into the air Kaladar found the boy to be more impressive than expected. Instead of trying to counter each end every strike he chose to avoid them as a whole. Spinning on his heal as Brandon began to gather energy in his hands Kaladar did the same. Judging by the way he held his hands and was charging energy before releasing it the experienced Kaladar had a good guess at what type of attack it was…an energy wave.
Gathering his own energy within his cupped hands Kaladar was ready for the beam. A moment alter the Guardian release his own energy wave to intercept that of his current students. Between them the beams collide, pushing against each other as the two struggles to overtake one another. Pushing more energy into his own Kaladar again looked to test the body, seeing how much power he might be able to fit into his own energy beam. If Brandon was to every be the new Guardian of Earth he was going to have all areas of combat, from the simplest of strikes to the most complicated energy attacks.

Seeing Kaladar intercept his Chaos kamehameha with his own beam attack. Since Brandons current energy level was lower then Kakadar's, Brandons own energy beam would slowly get over taken.
But Brandon decided to show off an ace card, as Brandons bracelet glowed brightly. Brandon's power signature suddenly doubled in intensity, as Brandons Chaos Kamehameha doubled in power, allowing it to match Kaladar's energy beam, and even start to over take it. Brandon was determined to show Kaladar that he was determined to earn kaladar's respect, and the chance to become the next Guardian of Earth. Even Brandons ace card wasnt the last tick up his sleeve.
He was curious of Kaladar would increase his own energy to match Brandons own new energy output of 122,380, while Kaladar was only at 100,000.
Summers was wide eyed as she walked up beside Mr.Popo, as she watched the intense beam struggle. "Wow..... Mr Popo? Will Brandon get in trouble if he accidentally damages the lookout?" She asked, looking up to him, somewhat curious and nervous at the same time.

Pouring energy into his own attack Kaladar felt the sudden increase in Brandon’s power, his Kamehameha pulsing with energy as it intensified. Slowly the beam began to overtake Kaladar’s own, his opponent’s sudden spike in power giving it the edge it needed to gain the advantage. Spreading his legs some more under neither him Kaladar braces himself for the ongoing struggle, muscles straining under pressure of maintaining his own attack. Wanting to truly test Brandon he pushes his own power higher, matching that of the boys so that the beam struggle was again at a stalemate. ”Well done, but this old man is not so easily bested!”
Off to the side Mr. Popo heard Summer’s words, glancing to her in response. ”There is no need to worry. If the Lookout is damaged we will repair it. Over the years there has been countless times where the magnificent place has taken damage. It has always been repaired and preserved. While the world changes the Lookout has always remained the same.”

Brandon watched as his beam pushed Kaladar's own beam back, until he to increased his power, making the beam struggle at a stalemate.
However, He would not be bested so easily either. For the gem on his gauntlet glowed brightly as Brandons maximum powerlevel went into overdrive, and increased by 20% more, Increasing by 24,476. This gave him an energy level of 146,856, but such a boost, Brandon could already feel it taking a toll on his body.
With the new boost in power, brandons beam once again broke the stalemate, and started to push Kaladar's beam backwards again. But even the combat-inexperienced could see that the boost Brandon had just put out was putting even more stress on his human body. Sweat dripped down his face as he continued to pour everything he had into the attack.
"Well, if anything happens THIS TIME, I wanna help clean up....If, Im allowed to that is Mr.Popo..." She said, as the increase in Brandons energy output caught her attention. "Oh no, Hes doing it again...." She said, as she looked back to Mr. Popo.
"I dont know if hes told anyone yet about it, But Brandon has a special technique he uses to temporarily boost his powers... But it makes his body wear out the more he uses it. The fact that hes using it here, really means that hes trying to prove something...."

The two combatants were in a beam struggle, not one giving an advantage to the other. Kaladar could tell the boy was here to prove something that much was obvious. Perhaps death changed Brandon’s way of thinking, Kaladar thought to himself as he could feel his body tighten from the concentration. Kaladar wasn’t going to let Brandon get the upper hand, but he was impressed with the power that the boy could muster. If only he were hear when Kemuri attacked, perhaps the overall outcome would have been different. Once again Brandon seemed to increase his power, causing his beam to overtake Kaladar’s.
Kaladar could fell the beam getting closer to him and he would have no choice but to once again increase his power to match Brandon’s. Kaladar’s beam got pushed back to no more than a few feet in front of him. He could feel the heat from Brandon’s beam he was so close. As Kaladar increased his power and poured more ki into his own beam. He could see the beam getting pushed back. Once again the beams were dead locked in the center. “Impressive Brandon, but how long do you think you can keep this going. It looks like to me you are getting tired already and we have only just begun.” Kaladar said with a slight chuckle.
Meanwhile Popo continued to listen to Summers speak. The demon wanted to help clean up if the Lookout were to get damaged during their fight. Even though Popo was glad to hear that she would help, there was no need for it. “I appreciate the thought of you wanting to help clean Summers, but there is no need for that. When they are done training, Kaladar and myself will handle cleaning up the damage.”
When Summers went on about Brandon’s ability to increase his power further then his trans could take him, Popo was interested. If in fact it took a lot out of him to do so, then I might not have been worth it to use it so early in their spar. Bandon was going to have to learn the right moment to use a technique like that. Popo had faith that Kaladar was going to tell him exactly that when they were done.

Summers smiled as Mr Popo said that she didnt have to help with the cleanup. "Alright then Mr.PoPo."she said ,as she turned her attention back to the battle.
Brandons beam once again hit its stalemate, but Brandon was almost at his limit for his transformation. Feeling his transformation time running out, Brandon quickly canceled his beam, allowing Kaladar's beam to take the lead. Brandon quickly used his projection technique to push himself downwards, avoiding Kaladars beam.
While it shot harmlessly into the air, Brandon landed on his feet just as his gauntlet reverted back to its bracelet form, forcing his energy level to drop back down to its base form.
Panting Softly, Brandon smiled as he said "Im not finished yet!" as two flames suddenly burst to life in his palms, as Brandon suddenly launched two streams of fire at Kaladar.

The two beams were still locked together between Brandon and Kaladar. Once again Kaladar wondered how long Brandon was going to be able to keep this up. He remembered back to when Brandon was fighting Azazel before Kemuri attacked. He seemed to be able to hold his own against Azazel for a decent amount of time. Azazel ended up getting the better of him, but Kaladar knew that was going to happen. Brandon was able to keep up with her for a short time, but Azazel was stronger than he was. Bringing his attention back to Brandon, the boy had quickly moved out of the way. Allowing Kaladars beam to travel right by him, straight off the lookout.
Brandon’s energy level had dropped back to his base and the gauntlet turned back into a bracelet. Sensing Brandon’s power Kaladar dropped his own back to 100k. At his current power Brandon wouldn’t have been able to do anything. Therefore Kaladar needed to drop his power to make the fight fairer for the boy. Watching the boy move and then attack. Launching two streams of fire straight at him. “That is good to hear, would have been disappointing if you were done already.”
Kaladar brought his arms up, covering his face. Just before the streams of fire slammed into him, he generated a ki barrier. He watched the streams consume him, but not cause any physical damage. The fire merely wrapped around him, gliding over the ki barrier that had been generated. Kaladar would keep the barrier up for as long as Brandon would continue the streams. Brandon might not have known it but Kaladar was trying to test to see how long the boy could fight.
If he indeed wanted to become the next Guardian, he was going to have to push his body past its normal limits. It took Kaladar some time to ignore most physical pain that he would suffer in fights, but it was something that needed to be learned. Protecting the Earth was a dangerous job and if Brandon wanted to do it, he was going to have to be able to fight through pain and exhaustion.

"Never...Never done..." He said, as he saw Kaladar put up a shield that effectively made his Flames spell become useless while it was up.
Quickly thinking of what to do, Brandon saw the shield seemingly act like a bubble, however the underside was blocked by the lookout itself, leaving that area vulnerable for an attack. "Fus RO DAH!" Brandon shouted, as a wave of staggering energy burst out of his mouth, and attempted to hit Kaladar's shield dead on. Though this attacks purpose was not to damage the shield, but to see if force of impact would just be absorbed by the shield itself, or if his shout had a more... Promising effect on it.
While his shout was doing what it did best, the gem on his bracelet began to glow as Brandon started to charge energy into it. If a straight on attack would not penetrate the shield, perhaps an attack from another angle would...

Kaladar listened to Brandon say that he was never done. Once again the boy was proving to be able to hold his ground and continue the fight. The flames continued to glide off of the shield and go harmlessly behind Kaladar. What came next was confusing and interesting to Kaladar at the same time. Brandon shouted some strange words, followed by a wave of staggering energy bursting from his mouth. Its target was not Kaladar, but was the shield that he had erected.
The energy slammed into the shield causing Kaladar to slide a few feet backwards. Brandon’s attack was not strong enough to break the shield, but it did begin to crack at the point of impact. Causing the crack to spider off in different directions. It was at that point Kaladar dissipated the shield, as its function was no longer needed. He was impressed that Brandon was able to crack the shield, a little more power behind it and it would have shattered completely.
“Good Brandon, it seems like you still have a few tricks up your sleeve after all.” Kaladar said as he brought his hands up to his head and shouted Solar Flare. A bright light would emerge from kaladar’s position, completely blinding everyone in the area minus himself. Kaladar did this because Brandon seemed to be charging energy. While his opponent was blinded, Kaladar would launch a few ki blasts his way. The first ones would land around Brandon, but the final one was aimed directly at the boys chest.

Brandon was nearly about to launch his attack, but Kaladar used his Solar Flare technique, blinding Brandon. It didnt help to the fact that his glasses amplified the brightness like a focusing lens. "GAH! I CANT SEE!" He yelled, as a blinding white light stained his sight.
Brandon didnt know where the hell he was going, or where Kaladar was. Luckily, He basically had a second set of eyes that wasnt so easily effected by Solar Flare. "Calm yourself Brandon! Put your shield up!" He heard Verlith say, although Brandon was almost too busy panicking. He knew Kaladar wouldnt permanently blind him, so he went into Defense mode, and threw up his shield in front of him, and behind him incase something sneaky were to happen.
It was then he heard something collide with his front shield, and knew Kaladar was trying to see how he could do if one of his senses were temporarily removed. While he couldnt see, He couldnt launch a directional attack, so he kept his shields up, and rubbed his eyes to get rid of the blinding effects of Solar Flare. "ugh... cant see...." He said as he rubbed his eyes.

Although blinded Brandon somehow saw the attacks coming. His own shield burst to life not only before him, but behind him as well. The first of the blasts detonated around him, throwing up dirt and chunks of the lookout as they did. Obscuring the boy in dust, Kalahari didn't need to see him to know the final blast had been blocked by the shield. Before the air had been choked with debris he had seen the energy heading right for where the shield had arisen. Still, the boy was left blinded and that presented an opportunity within itself. Let Kaladar see how he might handle this one.
Bounding forward Kaladar takes several long steps before leaping into the air. Old legs far from weak he rises high above the dust cloud Brandon was surrounded by before dropping back down and into it. Able to sense where he was position and having seen shields form before and behind him that left above open to attack. Dropping down Kaladar steps the fight up a notch, leading with his fist in an attempt to punch Brandon atop the head.
Should his attack somehow miss as Brandon had blocked his Ki blasts Kaladar was prepared with more. If the boy was to avoid the strike and his fist instead found the floor of the lookout he would not pause for long. Instead he would bring his leg up, looking to connect under the boy's chin. Such a frontal and straight forward attack was common in close combat, it was time to see how Brandon would handle it.

Brandons eye sight started to clear up, but it was still obscured by dust. "Ugh...Where is he?" He thought, as he stopped rubbing his eyes, just as he suddenly felt a painful blow to his head, causing him to fall over. Knowing that Kaladar exploited the weakness in his current shield set up, and when he was hit hard enough, the shields dissipated.
As his head rang in pain from the punch Brandon quickly got himself up and saw the faint image of Kaladar coming at him. His eyes were slowly recovering, but not recovering as fast as he would like.
"Hands up. Right arm up vertical, move to the left." He heard Verlith say, as he did as he was told, and he felt Kaladar's foot hit his arm. Quickly moving to the left, Brandon made most of the impact glance off his arm, and not completely absorb it. "Now sweep out your right leg, counter clock wise starting at 3 oclock, end at 11 oclock."He then said, as Brandon kicked his leg out, and tried to hit Kaladar's own foot, in an attempt to cause him to stumble.
