(You had ONE job Batto! lol kidding)
“Blah, Blah, Blah…” the words and subsequent grunt caused the old man to raise one of his eyebrows. Did the young namekian just completely berate his entire speech with three words of mediocrity? Pfft…young whippersnappers are so hard to teach these days…Not enough diamonds in the rough these days…it’s a shame… the mindset of living in the now and not having their actions accounted for in the future was not the mindset that Toshio wished anyone to have, let alone the namekians. The rest of the unique-colored namekian words made of little sense to the elderly Toshio. Mostly due to the earthling’s unawareness of the rest of the galaxy’s business, having actually retired here to enjoy what would be his ‘final days’ so to speak and that just so happened to put him out of the loop with current galaxy events.
The sudden quick departure caught the elder sage off-guard a little, to see someone so objective to gaining bodily power that they would leave rather than grow their mind…it hurt the teacher of 30+ odd years to see such a craving in a young one, especially one in which he seemingly couldn’t reach out to. The words of Batto made Toshio turn his head as he listened to the master speak. Nodding in approval Toshio would speak. “Indeed so…I hope that young namekian does not bring dire tension to this planet nor it’s inhabitants. I would hate to see such a thing happen when we had a chance to stop it…but yes…if such a time comes, this planet and even those beyond would need more healers.” He turned and looked down at Dolin who still clung to his leg, but now smiled up at his master. “Well come now, no need to be shy any longer. You have much to learn under Master Batto.”
The young namekian nodded and released his grip off Toshio before stepping towards Batto. “Ok…Master Batto…I am ready to begin the training.” The young green fellow looked up at Master Batto and smiled. Toshio looked down at his young pupil and did the same. Now this…this is the diamond in the rough. A diamond that will indeed shine brightly one day
