For a moment he thought that he had seen her smile, was it his imagination or had she actually done so at his comment? He decided to take it as actually happening, that way he could say he achieved a small victory here today and feel somewhat proud. It was hard to feel proud after nearly blasting a hole through your own body, but hey, there were some things that could do it. He had to look on the brighter side of things otherwise he was likely to go insane with everything going on. Plus, while this hadn’t exactly gone the way he wanted, it still was overall a good meeting that happened here. They worked out a deal that could possible benefit them both in the end.
“That’s fine, I’ll make sure it’s easy to pick out amongst everything else going on,” there was no point making the signal discrete. It would work better as it would let those two bastards know that he saw them and was more than willing to try taking them out. He wanted to make sure that signal was loud and clear as well, family or not they had crossed a line with him that should never be crossed. They did it twice in fact, so there was no going back for them anymore and he would bring down a fitting punishment for them.
She took the picture and looked it over, then mentioned that she would pass it on to the right people to make sure they were on the lookout for him. That was good; hopefully they would be able to get him away from the grasp of Satsuma and Kyuri. That or maybe they would find the truth about whether he was still alive or not for him, either way he at least wanted to know what was going on. “Right, he shouldn’t be too hard to miss. As long as I can know what’s going on that should be good enough.”
Then there was the mention of postponing the spar because she wanted to face him when he was one hundred percent. Well, he couldn’t fault her for that, he’d much rather face her when they were both at their best game so that it would be a fun battle. “Yeah, that might be a good idea, considering I started with a grey shirt and it’s slowly been turning red. That’s probably a bad thing, so I may need to get some medical assistance to make sure my body can recover. I’ll take that rain check for our spar, and I won’t have to collapse from bloodless.”
A slight chuckle at that, the more blood he did lose, the funnier things seemed to become as well. So, it was a sign to get into a rejuvenation chamber and get his body fixed up proper. With that, he began to hobble as fast as he could towards the tournament area and the medical team. Although it seemed he was headed in the wrong direction from where he wanted to go.
