Banduk blinked when Conri simply disagreed with what he had to say without giving a reason, not quite knowing what there was to disagree with, seeing as how his saying was only a proverb. Of course, he supposed Conri had no way of knowing that. Back in the Warrior clan, it was often said to new disciples in order to dissuade them from blaming their loss (or even victory, in Conri's case) to something as abstract as luck. The Warriors were a very matter-of-fact group of individuals. You were taught that if you lost a battle, it was either because your opponent was stronger, or because you simply made too many errors in battle. Some would say that it was a rather blunt way of looking at things, but those with the willpower to live by those words would be driven to develop themselves further down the path to perfecting their combat ability. They would strive to eliminate the errors from their style and increase their strength in order to surpass others. That is what the proverb stood for.
Still, it wasn't like Banduk had the time to explain all that, so he let things be. Conri would surely find his own path in life, and it was clear that the champion most likely contained greater strength than the Namekian himself. The Guardian-in-training wondered what kind of opponent Conri would be, and if the battle would be as intense (or more so) than his duel with Frigid. As Conri asked his question, however, Banduk's mind focused on other matters. While there were obviously thousands of other races in the universe than what was gathered here today, the champion was correct in observing that, out of all the tournament's participants, the collection of fighters in this room made up most of the races represented. It seemed that it was only a coincidence, thought the fact that there was a dispersion of races in the room now did mean something. It meant that there was no single race that stood out above the rest. Icer, Namekian, Human, Saiyan. One of each species made their way pretty far up the rankings during the competition. It was an interesting thought that almost made Banduk smile to himself.
Zex went on to explain that he wanted to talk over some food, even mentioning water, in the case of Banduk. As shady as this character appeared, Banduk had to admit that the alien overlord was quite hospitable, going so far as to consider the Namekian's preferred means of attaining nutrition. The Namekian Warrior gave a shallow bow of the head in response to his host's words, acknowledging the option of simply drinking water. Soon enough, the group was headed to the dining room, where the chair specifically designed to accommodate an Icejin's tail once again demonstrated Zex's consideration of his guests. This man was impressive, and Banduk continued to be sure and observe just what it was Zex wanted out of this meal.
Gundu took a seat calmly, not making any effort to prioritize who he sat next to. He kept his posture respectable and let his hands lay on his lap as he looked around. Banduk still didn't say a word, waiting for the conversation to really begin before bringing up any questions. As he waited for the food to arrive, the Namekian's mind wandered back to the information he'd dug up in the archives of Alpha Prime: some kind of connection between Zex and the Icejin species. The database failed to explain just what that connection was, but it made the Namekian very curious indeed. Perhaps he would bring up the subject during the meal...

Even with the thought that there might be an alternative motive for such a gathering to be called, Frigid sat and listened to each person speak. Though thoughts that they had any involvement were little, if not non-exsistant, he made sure to take notes. Frigid hoped in the unlikely event that something were to happen, he could persuade the others to his side. After all, being an Icejin, and a native of the Omega Collective, if things went wrong, there was the possibility his friends might accuse him.
Though in all honesty, such paranoia was most likely a result of the hangover he was suffering from. Though the aspirin and coffee were helping tremendously, there was a reason Icejin were often seen drinking little more than a sip or two of wine. He had definitely surpassed that limit last night by a mile, maybe two.
Soon, Zex offered them all a seat at the table, of which Banduk was one of the first to take a seat. Perhaps to the others, it would look as if little thought was put into the seating arrangement, but upon noticing the chair made just for him, Frigid's sense of paranoia simple amplified. He would be seated opposing Banduk, two empty chairs to his side. Perhaps there was the thought that if he had been placed at an end, his tail might trip a server, but this innocent idea simply flew right over the Icejin's head.
Taking his seat across from the Namekian, he would offer a smile, only before placing his elbows on the table and caressing his own forehead, "My apologies in Advance for my bluntness, but you don't happen to be the healing type of Namekian, do you Banduk?" though a joke, his humor might be lost on the Namekian as he waited for the others to sit next to him. How much though had Zex put to who would sit next to the semi-finalist? Perhaps the Icejin would soon find out.

The prodigy of the Muzai had heard the key word of Promethesus Zex’s statement, food. Kurosanai could feel a small stream of drool escaping his mouth at the mention of the word. He wiped his mouth on his arm hoping that no one saw what had just happened. Izanami would have locked him in some deep dark place if she had found out that he had embarrassed the Muzai clan because of his inability to control his hungry stomach. But Zex motioned to a table that sat just off in the distance and began walking to it. From what he could take in Kurosanai could see each chair was designed for each of his guests.
This Zex person certainly made sure to know who his guests were going to be. The one for Frigid was specifically designed for Icejin providing a spot for his massive tail to freely move about. The one for Banduk, the Namekian, was designed to be taller than normal allowing him to sit comfortably. Compared to these two Conri’s and Kuro’s chairs were much more mundane as they were designed for the smaller frames of the warriors. It wasn’t until they all sat done that he really began to think about Conri’s question to Zex about if he had purposely called members of all of the main races to compete in the tournament. Despite Zex’s promise that it was purely coincidental Kuro was skeptical as it would be easy for the master mind of the galactic tournament to try and position himself with representatives on each planet.
But the suspecting thoughts were banished away from his mind when he smelled the food approaching the table. Five servants appeared and placed a plate in front of each person. Food for everyone but Banduk who only received a liquid drink. Kurosanai was a bit taken back by the idea that Zex was not going to feed all of his guests proper meals. But before he could say a thing a fully loaded plate of Kuro’s favorite food was placed in front of him. His eyes went wide as a large chunk of what looked like honey glazed chicken was partnered with a huge helping of mashed potatoes garnished with some green vegetable. Placed beside it for a beverage was a tall stout glass of what Kuro recognized as the same beverage he drank multiple times in the bars on Omega. Zex had gone above and beyond as to find out what the prodigy of the Muzai enjoyed to eat. It was rather creepy actually.
“So, I know this is probably poor table manners as dinner is just being served. But why did you call us all hear Mr. Zex? Surely you must have had something intended on a big scale to call the two finalists of the tournament, a semifinalist and then my lowly self. I am very curious.” Kurosanai asked as he began to try to shovel as much food into his mouth in a dignified manner, if there was ever such a thing.

It was supposedly a coincidence that the people gathered in the mansion were each a member of the main races, but it still didn't seem like on to Conri. Well, it didn't make too much of a difference to him, the fact was that he did have a reason for bringing them here other than just for the meal. It had been like Akassa had mentioned, it was more than just a dinner, considering it was the ruler of Alpha Prime that specifically invited them to his home. That wasn't something just anyone got, where they all stood in whatever ranking that decided they were to get the invites he couldn't tell that either.
When they were led to the dining room, Conri also noticed the difference in the chairs, though he didn't mind it as much since his was one of the simpler designs. The meals were brought before them and each one seemed to be prepared for the individual, possibly based on they culture they grew up in. Of course, there were probably some things just based on the race itself, it was hard to tell how it was all prepared but he wasn't going to turn down food either. He did have to agree with Kurosanai though, despite that their host wanted them to have dinner first, but he would much rather talk about the reason they were brought here.
"I would have to agree with Kurosanai, while I thank you for the meal, I would much prefer to find out the reason we were invited first," this was something more from his own professional standpoint. He didn't want to eat anything until it was explained, while he might be paranoid with this, he didn't want to suddenly become indebted for eating the food or something similar. Granted, that was probably a farfetched idea, it was still something for him to consider and he was far more curious than he was hungry. Surprising for one that had Saiyan blood flowing through him, however, it was something he considered more important than food right now. Whether Frigid or Banduk felt the same, he didn't know. He wasn't going to try to brush off the hospitality that he had been shown either, so he had tried to be as respectful as possible with the question.
"It seems a strange coincidence for the four of us to be chosen from all the other contestants that were in the tournament," which was true, there were a lot of good fighters that had been apart of the tournament. Although, he supposed him being the champion made sense as well, but the question still stood. Depending on the answer, he had a number of possible options to him, knowing the full reason would be helpful.

Taking his seat at the head of the large wooden table Prometheus gave them time to take in their new surroundings and take their seats. The Lord himself sat in a taller chair, specifically designed of course for his tall thin frame. Pulling himself in against the table the alien waits to make sure they are all settled in, a small amount of banter going on before everyone’s food, or water, was brought to them. The plate that was set before Zex appeared to have a large amount of noodles on it, at least that is what they looked like without close inspection. Even as several of them began to eat the four guests might notice out of the corner of their eyes that their host’s plate seemed to move on occasion, or perhaps it was just their imagination.
Regardless whether the aliens meal was living or not Kurosanai came right out and said what was no doubt on all of their minds. Why had they been invited to this dinner? Conri’s words again stressing that he thought the mix of individuals was not something random. Smiling Prometheus sets down his fork, leaning back in his chair as he decides it is best to just tell them. All eyes were on him after the question was asked, his guests seeming far more interested with the reason for this dinner than the dinner itself.
”The mix of races between the four of you is coincidence, but the fact that I invited the four of you specifically is not. Having watched every match in the tournament with my own eyes and based on the information I was able to gather pertaining to each of you it only made sense to ask you four to come to my home. Conri is the first ever Champion of the Galactic Tournament, while Frigid is the runner up, both of you have proven your strength. As for Kurosanai and Banduk the two of you may have lost earlier in the competition, but both of you are prodigies of your respective races, are you not?. I needed the assistance of four talented individuals so who better to ask then those sitting around my table now?
Let me get right down to it. Several weeks prior to the start of the tournament one of my probes discovered what appeared to be two uncharted planets, both of significant size. As an advocate of space travel and the expansion of our known universe I sent out a team to explore these new planets in the hopes of opening communications with them should they be populated. Shortly after my team arrived in the system containing the spheres I lost contact with them…rather abruptly. I have come to fear the worst in these passing weeks and wish to further investigate. As much as I wish to continue and hopefully find my lost companions I fear there might be something or someone hostile out there. I know you all have agendas and business of your own to attend to, but I was hoping to get your assistance with this. Powerful individuals as yourselves would be able to investigate this matter yet also be able to handle yourselves if something were to threaten you.
Beyond what I have told you and the coordinates there is little I can tell you of the planets that would be your destination, but I must ask if any or all of you would be willing to do this for me. Of course I will supply transportation and will pay you for your efforts, but only if you wish to help. My plan was to send those of you that agree as a group as I am quite firm believer in strength in numbers. Would any of you be willing to lend me your time and strength so that I may handle this matter?”
Prometheus had put it all out there, making sure to let them know it was a request. If any or all of them did not wish to venture off into the stars for him that would be fine, he would not hold it against them. However, those that did help him might find it worth their time, there was no telling what they might discover out amongst the stars.

The first to speak up once the group was seated was Frigid, who still seemed to be having trouble getting over his alcohol intake. Being the serious Namekian that Banduk was, the humor almost flew over his head as he blinked, taking a second to wonder why the Icer would be asking such a question. Of course, even though Gundu understood the meaning of Frigid's inquiry, the green Warrior failed to come up with any sort of clever response. "I'm still training in the healing arts." he said plainly, though there was a small smile on his face as he did so.
Soon after the short exchange between the arguably more foreign-looking aliens at the table, Kurosanai finally popped the question that was likely on everyone's mind, especially Banduk's. The Guardian's pupil had his suspicions about Zex, and very much wanted to know the purpose of this meeting. The fact that Kuro was the first to speak eased Banduk slightly, as it was never very easy to be the first to ask a delicate question. Banduk had a feeling that the reason he was called to this meal was of somewhat serious nature, though he really had no idea what it was about. Conri agreed with Kurosanai's curiosity, leading Zex to finally unveil the answer to everyone's question.
Banduk listened closely, his eyes locked on Zex as the powerful alien leader explained his predicament, that a reconnaissance team had suddenly disappeared while trying to make contact with a newly-found planetary system. Zex wanted the four individuals to investigate the whereabouts of the lost team, apparently, with the knowledge that the tournament participants would be able to defend themselves against anything hostile.
Banduk had a lot of consideration to do now that he was faced with such a task. There was danger involved, of course. It was possible that Banduk would come into some potentially life-threatening situations. Not only that, but the Namekian had to wonder if Zex was being completely honest with his intentions. Something still bugged the Green Guardian-in-Training, but he had to investigate the possibility further. "I'm interested in helping, but I have a couple of questions..." the Namekian said, wanting to get a bit more insight before committing to a decision. "First off, I can easily tell that your friend over there would be quite capable of handling himself in any sort of situation. I'm assuming you're refraining from sending him with us for your own protection?" Banduk asked, quite sure that he was assuming correctly, but wanting to ask anyways in case there was a possibility of having an extra hand in all this. "Second, I would like to know if it would be possible to return to my own planet briefly. There are things I must attend to." Banduk said, knowing that it would be wise to seek his master's council before setting out on Zex's mission. Not to mention the fact that Banduk was starting to miss his meditation in the rolling hills of Namek...

The food was served to each person, each plate seemingly catered to their personal preferences. As a man went to place the plate down in front of Frigid, he gently took his shoulder, "No thank you, coffee is fine." Though taken back by the request, the plate was removed and a pot of coffee place in its place. With a chuckle, Frigid poured himself another cup, and took a sip, looking around the room.
It seemed Kurosanai was the hungriest as he ferociously dug into his food. It was obvious he was trying not to be rude with his eating habits, but it still make the Icejin laugh lightly. Between bites, the man was able to ask the question Frigid was wondering as well. Seconding the question was Conri. It seemed that no one knew the true extent of why they were gathered here. Frigid himself had asked the same question over and over, wondering if perhaps this was a trap.
Zex was happy to tell them all the true meaning behind his dinner party. It seemed he needed a recon team to recover a party that he'd sent to new planets. It seemed a bit odd to be asking these four such a thing, and was Bunduk pointed out, his body guard should have been more than capable to do it himself. Then again, that would leave Zex vulnerable, and Frigid understood avoiding such a thing all too well. At first thought, Frigid wanted to say no to such a request, but this was exactly what he needed.
"Banduk makes a good point. Perhaps a few days to mull such a thing over would be nice. Being wrapped up in the tournament, I am sure that none of us have had the time to deal with personal matters," a small chuckle left his mouth as he sipped at his coffee once more, "But I am sure that you don't expect an answer today. Unless we are all prepared, sending us on such a mission would do you no good, right?" Though his comments may come out rude, he was trying to be quite the opposite. Frigid simply was brainstorming aloud, hoping that the others would chip in with their own opinions.

The food tasted so good that it was hard for Kurosanai to keep his attention on the conversation at hand. Conri had agreed with the prodigy of the Muzai on the question that was on everyone’s mind. No doubt everyone had appreciated his rather blunt nature of talking even though sometimes it seemed to be a bigger problem than it was worth most of the time. The meat was so succulent; the mashed potatoes were the perfect texture and perfectly seasoned. And the drink that accompanied it all was perfectly paired and filled Kurosanai’s stomach with a warm glow. Though it all may have been for naught as all of a sudden the prodigy of the Muzai began to choke on his food at Prometheus Zex’s comment.
He wanted to send the group of the four of them into the great space beyond charting and figure out what had happened. For all the Omega leader knew the crew’s ship could have simply suffered a mechanical error that caused them to get lost somewhere. He was afraid to think of what else might have happened to them by any other method. But something deep inside of him was prompting him to continue on.
“Mr. Zex as I humbly thank you for the opportunity I have to ask, what are we even facing? I mean we could be going into an utter trap that just ends up getting all of us killed.” Kurosanai argued as he wiped his face of the food that had escaped from his mouth. That ball of fear in his stomach was keeping him from signing onto the leader’s request right then and there. What would he have to face down out there in the big bad universe? Would he be eaten by some giant worm buried in a desert dragging his bones down to the depth of the planet for them to be digested? Would he come across a magnificent city that rivalled none that he had ever seen before? These were only some of the possibilities that he may face and his mind churned out even more as the seconds passed by.
But beneath that ball of fear was a sea of curiosity and longing to live up to the heights his ancestor had set for him before. It was this that drove him to speak his next words, “Despite all my questions, and I would like answers to them, I am going to have to accept your request. I will go on this little mission of yours and find out what happened to those men. I only ask as the others have asked to you as well that I can return home before we go on the mission. In case that I am to die I would like to get my affairs in order, and in the more likely case that I come back I hero I want to make sure the victory parade is already set up so I can ride down main street on the back of an open car.” Kurosanai laughed as he took another drink from his glass.

Conri listened to what he was being told, they were essentially going to be sent to the same area where the previous team sent to explore a planet and attempt peaceful discussions with whatever was there. That was, of course, assuming they wanted peaceful discussions and didn't just try to blast them out of the sky the first chance they had which seemed to be the case with the last team. There was a lot to think over with this, including how they were going to get there in the first place given the fact that even if they used his ship, it was only designed for three. Did he have some other ship for them to use instead then? There were still a lot of questions roaming through his mind, but he figured he would stick to the ones that were probably the easiest to actually answer.
"So, from what I take from that report you gave us, your previous expedition was wiped out as soon as they reached the system with the planets correct? That means as soon as we get to that system we'll likely be under attack on at least a consistent basis, and will need to prepare for such from the beginning before even going towards the area."
If he was going to start his own organization then things like this were going to be needed, especially considering that the risk involved was exceptionally high. The fact that there was a payment being offered was what made him stay and accept the offer in the first place, it might not seem the best way to do things, but he had to get his organization off the ground. Which meant funds were a need at this point for him to properly equip and fund the operation on a whole, not that he needed a whole lot more right now. In fact, after he was done here, he was going to get some modifications to his ship done that would let him have a great place to train when he needed it.
"I would like to ask, how are we to get there? My new ship was technically only design with three people to be on board, so that leave at least one person without transportation. Unless you have a different means for us all to get there?" he figured it was likely given the extent he planned this meal and invited the current entourage of people.

Eating some more of his own meal Prometheus listens to the four of them, again letting them all get their questions and responses in before he says anything. For starters the alien Lord himself was in no rush and if he gave his guest’s times to voice their concerns it would allow the others to comment or add on. Already it seemed they were thinking similarly to each other, agreeing with the questions that the others ask in regard to his request. Wiping his mouth with a napkin Zex smiles a little, glad they did not just blindly agree. If there did turn out to be trouble on this journey he was going to need individuals that could think for themselves, see what was not put plainly before them. Setting his napkin down Zex answers their questions in turn.
“You are correct Banduk, my brother is more than capable of handling himself and has strength to handle anything he might run into. I would send him, but sadly, as you are no doubt aware, Alpha Prime has its own problems. Wrath here is a large part of handling such issues and the way I see it quite effective in dissuading crime in general. I cannot afford to send him.
As for what you might encounter I am not sure. There is a possibility that there is no threat at all and my last team is unaware their communications are not making it back, or perhaps they have had an equipment failure. Unfortunately I do not think that is the case. I picked you four individuals because I think this might be dangerous, you are all capable of defending yourselves.
Now that being said it may be wise for you to all be prepared upon entering the system because like Conri said, you might very well be attacked as you approach the planets. If you are willing to take your own ship Mr. Lane then that is fine, but I can provide transportation for those you do not or cannot take. Either way this is not something any of your should take lightly.”
With those last words Zex looks to all of them. He had faith they all understood the dangers that accompanied what he was asking, but wanted them to realize he too knew what he was asking. After the scan of his gathered guests Prometheus continues.
”Kurosanai, I thank you for so readily accepting my request, but I can understand the hesitation with the rest of you or at least the request to have time to think. All of you have been quite busy here with the tournament and you have been away from your homes for some time. This issue is not something I wish to table for too long for lives may be at stake, but I cannot expect you to just drop everything and depart in one night. So please enjoy your meal here tonight and attend to what business you have at home. I have several more items to set in place before I planned on sending those of you that accepted out anyway. My only other request is that before you leave tonight you take a communication device with you so I may contact you when I am ready to proceed, even if it is only to hear you decline. Do you all find that acceptable?”
So far none of them had outright said no, and from the curiosity they all projected Zex felt in time all four would agree to help. His original fear had been that all of them were going to decline off the bat, having too much at stake in their own lives to risk such a venture. He had learned much about them during the tournament, but he didn’t know everything about the four. Thinking he was being rather reasonable in asking them to take a device with which he could contact them, Prometheus takes a sip of his strangely colored drink.

Banduk only sipped his water occasionally, not needing much of it to feel replenished, as he listened to the others around the table bring up comments and inquiries of their own. Zex soon felt the need to answer, confirming what Banduk had suspected about the alien's brother. Not only would Prometheus himself need a bodyguard for protection, but Alpha Prime itself apparently made use of "Wrath"s brawn. Obviously, Zex wouldn't have even made this request if Wrath were capable of carrying out the mission alone, so Gundu was content in hearing that the burly alien wouldn't be tagging along. Really, Banduk wouldn't be looking forward to working with someone so... Crude. He was glad to be heading on this quest with his fellow competitors, all of them having proven quite worthy in battle.
Zex went on to explain that he was comfortable with sending the four fighters given that this journey would most likely be dangerous, even though it was quite possible that there was no danger at all. Banduk saw good reasoning in this, noting that while Zex did seem suspicious, the choices he made made sense. Either the alien overlord was completely legitimate in his intentions, or he was just a damn fine talker. Soon enough, the ruler of Alpha Prime agreed to give each fighter time to tend to their personal matters on the condition that they take with them a communication device in order to give their final answer. Banduk nodded, figuring he would have enough time to confer with the Grand Elder and come up with a definite answer once he returned to Namek. "That sounds perfectly reasonable. I'll take the device and return home tomorrow morning." he informed his host, taking another swig of water. "Once I have an answer, I'll contact you." the Namekian concluded, letting Zex know what the plan was. Truly, Banduk's life was taking one interesting turn after another.

As Frigid listened intently to Zex speak, he sipped at his cup of coffee. It seemed that even the king of the Collective was in over his head once in a while. Honestly, it was reassuring to know that. He explained that everyone may take some time before agreeing or declining. There was no doubt in Frigid's mind that most would be spending that tine training.
Upon finishing, Zex told them each person was to take a communicator, in which they could relay back to Zex with an answer. This made Frigid somewhat uneasy, but the Icejin simply nodded when the alien asked if everyone argeed.
"I do believe we are forgetting to ask an important question," Setting his cup on the table, Frigid smiled lightly, "Well, at least important to me... If we are to fly by ship, how long will the travel take? And how long exactly do you expect us gone? Perhaps, just in case, we should put forward a safety net?"
As soon as the suggestion left Frigid's mouth, he realized how stupid it sounded. To send a search party after a search party? But in all honesty, aside from sounding stupid, it was still a good question. Even if the chance was slim, there was still a chance that the team could also lose contact with Zex. What then?

Promethesus Zex seemed thrilled with the fact that Kurosanai was the only person to give a direct answer to his question and request. Though after he said yes he wasn’t entirely sure if he acted too quickly and accepted. Izanami always criticized him for being rash and it was for good cause. It was one of his flaws, he wasn’t stupid by any means, but at the same time he did not have the patience of being a brilliant tactician like some of the other Muzai clan members. This was at a severe disadvantage to him especially when it came to negotiating deals, he probably should have extorted something out of Zex in return for his cooperation. The time had passed though.
He noticed that Banduk was much more of what Kurosanai wasn’t. He sat silently and listened to everything that was going on with those rather large pointy ears. He was no doubt thinking ten moves ahead and probably could have taught Kurosanai a few pointers on that aspect but the Muzai was in no mood to receive a lecture, especially from a green man that only seemed to want to drink coffee rather than take part in the delicious food that was provided. Kurosanai shoveled several more bite fulls into his mouth. Conri was convinced that the group was going to be shot out of the sky, which Kurosanai did not like the idea of, and Frigid appeared more intertwined with the idea of how they were getting there. He asked a rather obviously answered question about how they were going to get there and if Zex would be able to provide them some kind of ship to travel in. Kurosanai figured that if the mysterious Omega leader could give out space ships as prizes without so much as a blink of his eyes than finding a ship to carry the four of them would no doubt be an easily surmountable problem. But the prodigy of the Muzai loved the idea that since the mysterious Omega Leader was going to let each member of the dinner leave with a direct communicator that probably could only receive a call from Zex and not allow the young prodigy to bug him. Or he should clarify, allow Izanami to try and extort some kind of deal out of him. In either case Kurosanai didn’t have much to add and just instead chose shovel even more food into his mouth before sloppily down the rest of the contents in his cup.

With the questions answered for the most part, it seemed that they had their general mission set and were going to be exploring an unknown area of space. Anything could happen on that mission, so it was best to be as prepared as possible, and that meant starting right after he was done here it was time to get in some more training. Thinking the situation over carefully, it wasn't just a simple thing to agree to, but at the same time there wasn't a whole lot that he really needed to worry about if things did go badly. Poking at the food a bit, he listened to the question posed by Frigid, it made sense to ask for that kind of information really. They were going to be sent to an unknown sector of space to investigate possible hostilities, there would have to be an expected time frame for what would be possible and what wouldn't be as well. Though, he doubted there would be a search party sent after them if they didn't return within the allotted time frame.
The mention of the communication device was interesting, he wasn't likely going to need it to deliver his answer, given that he'd already decided once things were explained. This was the jump start that he was looking for to get his organization off the ground, especially given that the pay was likely to be worth the risk that they were heading into for the ruler of Alpha Prime. There was really no reason for him not to accept the request, he just needed to know two things so that he knew what he would be able to do in the amount of time they did have to get ready.
"Is there an ETA for when you will have the preparations complete? I figure some last minute training wouldn't be a bad thing to make sure that we're fully prepared for this mission," that was his current goal right now. If he could become stronger before they headed out on the mission then that would be to their advantage should they come across hostile forces. Plus, he could tie up a few things to make sure he didn't have unfinished business when he left for these two new planets.

Banduk, as he always seemed to be, was the bluntest with his answer. From his experience with Namekiens it was a cultural trait, the entire race stating what was needed and not usually anything more. While the green man and human seemed content with the information that had been given so far Frigid and Conri were not quite done with their questions. Always patient and more than willing to answer their questions if that is what it took to get them to agree Zex answers them in turn.
”The distance between the Collective and these planets is very similar to the distance from here to Namek. I expect it to be a short trip, especially since I will be supplying each ship you need with nitrous fuel to speed up your progress. As for the time you will be gone…that I am not certain of. In large part it will depend on you. If you discover my team has met an unfortunate end then you may return immediately, but if you find they have become stranded or perhaps even captured I would like you to retrieve them.” Prometheus hoped he had given the Icejin enough information despite the fact he could not give exact time frames.
”My own preparations will require a several more days, but I assume that is fine with you all since you each requested the time to deal with personal matters first. As soon as I am ready though I will reach out to you through the communicators I will be handing out. Now, if you say no that is fine, but please at least do me the service of responding when I send out the notice. Are there any more questions? I hope to have more information for you as time goes on.”
(OOC: Travel will take the normal time it takes to travel between planets, counting the use of Nitrous Fuel. And as for time before this starts we are going to let you all have a chance to return to your homes and role play, but the saga is planned to start in the near future.)
