After venturing out of the shrine where he had been imprisoned for over a hundred, if not over a thousands years, Brandon had not known what time he was in.
After making his way through the forest that had surrounded Central City, Brandon gasped as he saw that EVERYTHING had changed since he had been trapped. "W....What...the ?! Where the hell am I? WHEN am I?!" He said, looking around what was called Central city, as he saw that not only Humans populated the area, but various species of alien lifeforms were also everywhere.
"Damn, Aliens finally came to visit us, and I missed it? How long was I really gone for?" He asked himself, as he saw some of the wandering people, who were going about their business, were giving him odd stares. "Damn it, People are probably thinking Im crazy or something..." He thought to himself, as he made his way over to a vacant bench nearby, and sat down on it. It felt quite nice to be able to move again after so many years, but ever since he emerged from the.... stasis he had been in, his body felt different from before, like it had been replaced with a newer model.
"Everyone I knew...gone... All becuase of this damned bracelet!" He said, as he grabbed the bracelet, and attempted to pull it off as hard as he could. But much to his dismay, the bracelet was sealed around his wrist, and he couldnt get it off, no matter what he tried.

One such alien, a humanoid woman with a long black hair, blue gray eyes, and pale skin wandered upon the place Brandon was in and grew concerned about all the shouting he was doing. She approached him in her heavy, steel gray armor, and as her boots clicked against the ground nobody stared at her. The reason was that to all the people around she looked human and rumors had been going around that some lady, who was an alien wearing armor, were going around the Earth now. The truth was many people did not believe she was an alien, despite the rumors, but she was in fact one.
The one thing that made her different was the living armor on her body that was nearly always attached to her body and retractable into her skin. She grew concerned as she wandered along ignored by the populace though because of the words she was hearing the young man with brown hair and glasses saying about aliens. She approached him with a strong goal in mind of hoping to correct him about aliens, if he had gone and made them look bad, but she stopped there and stared at him since he was playing with an odd bracelet on his arm. She had no idea what it was but the man seemed frantic to take it off.

After trying to remove his bracelet some more, he finally gave up. "Damn piece of crap..." He mumbled to himself as he let out a huff of air, as he wondered how many people were staring at him, and only saw Roxenne, standing there, staring at him like he was crazy. But as he quickly saw, She was actually in armour, and seemed very different then everyone else he saw already.
"Erm...Excuse me? Can I help you?" He asked, feeling embarrassed since he knew she had been watching him for a while now. Boy, did he feel even more stupid now, now that he figured out he made a fool of himself infront of an attractive woman. But something about her didnt feel right to him. Something nagged at him, and little did Brandon know, He was actually sensing her power level. He didnt know the sensation, as he had never tried to 'sense' anything before in his life.

Roxsenne stepped towards him and asked, "What do you need me to help you with? If it's that bracelet then I honestly have no idea how to deal with it." She, herself, then tapped into her advanced ki sensing and used it to try and sense the young man's power level. Unfortunately, it was not as high as she hoped. Humans tended to have about 2000-8000 power level normally she had come to find, but this guy barely had two thousand six hundred power to protect himself with.
"Perhaps he can hide it?" she pondered to herself as she stood there with her arms at her sides and waited for his response.

"Er....The bracelet... is only part of my problem... What year is it miss? I know that is a strange question, but please humor me..." He asked, concerned as to where, and when he was. He wasnt sure how much time had passed by since he was sealed up in that shrine.
He couldnt shake the odd feeling he was getting, as he got up to his feet and tried to figure out what she was. His sight showed that she looked human, but Brandon had seen enough sci-fi movies to know that the sense of sight could easily be fooled in the future, so he asked her "Forgive my rudeness if I offend you, but...are you human? You certainly seem like it."

"The year... Go read an Earth newspaper, and as for the fact if I am a human or not is none of your concern," Roxsenne stated as she turned and walked off. The guy looked about her age, but with the trouble she had been having with the strange human organization NEON lately she wondered if she could even trust him at all. She had decided she could not since he seemed a bit too approachable at this point, which was why she was trying to leave him now.

"Earth Newspaper? Not called Freepress or Vancouver Sun anymore?" He asked, a bit confused.
He started to see her walk away, and crossed his arms. "Is she leaving because all the craziness is gone? Or is she just being rude?" He thought to himself as he tried to follow after her, walking at roughly the same pace. He looked around him at the newly evolved area around him, and was awe stricken by the new Earth he was no on.
"Cant you just tell me the year? Or do you not know either?" He asked, with a bit of a grin on his face. He was trying to agitate her maybe so he could get an answer out of her? It wasnt quite like him, but he knew that since he had gotten his bracelet, his way of thinking had been...slightly altered a bit.

"I don't know those newspapers, I really do not know any of the newspapers here well at all. Yet that said, you do not need me to tell you the year if you look around in a library possibly and find it." She said this and continued to walk along. She had no obligation to help the man because she did not know him, however, he did seem to be having a bit of trouble today.

"A Library eh? I dont supposed you could help me find one atleast?" He asked, but Roxenne continued to walk away from him. "Hmph, I guess all aliens are just as arrogant and rude like in alot of the tv shows back home... " He said, grumbling under his breath as he stopped following her. He tried to look around to see any indication of where to go to find a library, but all the strange building designs were making things very difficult for him.
"Face it, you have been in this time for not even an hour, and your hopelessly lost." a male voice said, as Brandon looked at his bracelet. "Ya I know... First attractive woman I ever meet here, and shes a prick... Is everyone in this time like this?" He asked. It would seem strange for Brandon to be talking to his bracelet, but anyone with a traned sense of hearing would be able to hear Verlith's voice faintly. "Your asking the wrong dragon... Maybe you should try to find someone else to help you?"
Brandon sighed. "But what if the next person is as rude as that...other girl?" He asked. He couldnt beleive how his luck had turned awful already. He had only hoped that things would only be looking up from that point on. "That is a risk you have to take unfortunatly..."

Roxsenne looked back at the young man and clearly saw he was talking to himself again. The guy was looking like he was in an awful lot of trouble, but since she was not on Castelle she felt like letting her duties as a knight be lax for once. She wanted a vacation from trouble and issues on this planet Earth because thus far she had been unable to get money to reach her ultimate goal. The goal of returning home to her planet.
"There's only one thing I can do about that, I suppose I need to help people to get cash." She turned her body completely and strutted back over to the guy and said, "If you're done talking to yourself I might want to help you. I'm on a break from active hero duty at the moment, but as it stands, I need money to get home so if you can help me I will help you." She did not tell him anything else about herself, however, she hoped they might be able to strike a deal as she extended to a hand towards the young man hoped to get him into some kind of agreement with her.

Brandon noticed the woman talking to him again, but not in a manner he had expected. She extended her hand towards him, and offered him a deal which would seemingly benefit them both. "Seems like Luck has finally turned its head to you."Verlith said to Brandon, who smiled as he took her hand and gently accept her offer. "Done deal, but how can I help you make cash here? Im currently pennyless myself, since the cash I have onhand seems to be very out-of-date." He asked, currently curious to see what the woman had in mind.
"By the way, My names Brandon. Whats yours?"

"My name is Roxsenne. I'm a knight of sorts, but usually I just make Zeni by simply helping people. They tend to give me a lot that way. Once, for example, I stopped a thief and they gave me money as easy as pie. So just go ahead and look around you and you'll be able to make cash too. One thing I would warn you about is going near Central City right now. I keep feeling bad energy flows from there and just now that power's gotten stronger."
She the realized that they were in Central City and corrected herself, "Don't go near the castle here in the city. One of my friend's dealing with a problem but..."
A sudden surge of power, power that was Kemuri's could be felt from the place while the powers of weaker heroes at that place seemed to be belonging to Azazel and others fighting him weakened. It made her nervous that such a fight was going on there. Yet she was glad the place had not fallen over yet.
"...just help the people out there while the issues at the castle are dealt with and everything should be fine."

"Castle eh? I guess ALOT has changed.... Last time we had any 'kings' was way back in Medevil times. Whats going on there? A rough political debate? Hah" He asked as he let out a small laugh. He had no idea of the events that were taking place on Earth at that time, but he had a feeling he would find out sooner or later...one way or the other.
"Well, it is a pleasure to meet you miss Roxsenne, What country do you come from? .... Or I should be asking, what planet are you from?" He asked, curious of his new 'friend's origins. He wondered where she had come from, and if he knew the planet from the anime shows he used to watch before they were taken of fthe air, or were politically corrected.

"I am not from around here," she told him, "I come from the planet Castelle, unfortunately, due to lack of a spaceship and political problems there I cannot exactly go back until I have the money to do so." She placed her hands on her hips and said, "Well, this planet definitely has a king. I'm not sure what he does but there is one at the castle, but I can feel a great battle going on over there involving a friend of mine named Azazel."

"Castelle? Azazel? Wow, seems like theres so much to learn about this era... "He said, a bit confused when she said that she could feel a battle taking place over at the castle. "I see I see... Ill try to help you get cash to go back to your home, and In turn... You can answer a few of m questions.... fair deal?" He asked as he smiled.
"Seems like a fair deal to me. Atleast we will be able to figure out when we are, and where we are."Brandon heard in is head, as he reached back, and took out his wallet. "So this era's currency is Zeni eh? I guess dollars are outta the question now... Might there be a bank that might be able to do an exchange?" He asked Roxenne, hoping to get a positive answer out of her.
