His mind was restored now, but the issue came of him actually waking up, his body had entered a hibernation mode of sorts so it would need a mental or physical shock to wake up. He could hear more voices now, each one was familiar and one of them started to focus his anger on, it was the Cardinal that he had been fighting. He wanted to finish the fight, even if he realized now that he had fallen unconscious after the colliding attacks, but he would still move to get his body to listen to him. His finger curling around his sword tighter in response to his demands, but it wasn't enough yet, he needed to be able to get up and finish this fight for good. The world inside his mind shifted to a scene with a man sitting beside a fire and the strange thing was that it wasn't just any person either, but rather himself that was there. Although, it was a different looking him, granted that didn't make much more sense than the fact that it was him sitting there at a campfire inside of his own head. This was all just too weird for him to take in, but that didn't seem to faze his double, who motioned for him to sit across from him at the fire. Raising an eyebrow Conri accepted the invitation and sat across from his black-haired, blue-eyed counterpart. It seemed like the man had something to say, so he may as well listen to what this guy wanted to say to him. It seemed like it was important if it interrupted him waking up and dealing with Sebastian.
"So, it seems to me that you keep trying to give this guy chances to live, and that needs to stop," his doppelganger spoke first, his voice gruff and less friendly than Conri's own. Before he could try to say anything his counterpart raised his hand to show that he wasn't done speaking as he let that sink in for a moment. It seemed that this was a part of himself, not another personality, but just his subconscious developing a way to communicate with him on this matter. Instead it seemed there was a smoldering effect coming from his form now, as their conversation continued, perhaps to represent his own anger growing inside him. It would be like a fire, it would help him, but if he wasn't careful then it could burn him as well.
"You've blocked a few things from your memory, but I have them full access to them, and seeing you try to show mercy against this asshole just pisses me off. Do you think that they show mercy to the ones they kill? He even told you that he would kill a child! What does it take for you to release your anger and not keep trying to save someone that can't be saved?!" his voice rose more, his subconscious had a better way of releasing his anger, the issue was that Conri didn't want to just take a life haphazardly. He felt like doing that here would be that, because while Sebastian said those things, he had yet to kill anyone as far as he knew. It was then that his subconscious let a few of the memories return and he could hear fading screams as he laid unconscious those years ago. Memories that he had apparently blocked out completely, and for good reason as they stirred inside of him a rage that he hadn't felt before. It was the cries of his wife and children as they were murdered while he was unconscious and dying those years ago. He was not happy with his subconscious for bringing up those painful memories, but he understood the message, it was time he started fighting like someone who was not going to let murderers get off scot-free.
"Good, you're understanding, we had a deal besides and you've been restricting me for a while even in Oozaru form. So, it's my turn to make some choices here. Now that that is settled, let's get back to the outside world and finish this already," and with that, he was back to the darkness of his mind. However, he could feel energy flowing back into his body from the rage he felt, and it was stirring him from this state of unconsciousness. His eyes began to open in response as his body was stirring into action his Saiyan blood demanding that he not just lay down and die, instead if he were to go to take his enemy with him. Pushing himself up, he saw that Frigid was standing nearby him, and was apparently the one that rescued him while Kurosanai fought Sebastian. Looking to his leg he saw the damage done to it, and figured unless it was healed he wouldn't be walking with it for a while.
"Hey, Frigid," he spoke trying to get his friend's attention, his throat sounding hoarse from being dry, the heat from the combined attacks causing that. Right now, he was just extremely exhausted from expending all that energy, so he would need Frigid to help him out with this next part. Then he would finally be able to start dealing with the universal church in honest. They thought that the Saiyans were monsters, so he was going to show them a monster fitting for them and they were going to regret their actions. (sorry if the unconsciousness seemed short, I just couldn't think of much more to write about it xD)

Post by Kurosanai Muzai on Aug 5, 2014 22:08:18 GMT -5
Sebastian took the uppercut straight to the face before being launched upwards into the air. Quickly the prodigy of the Muzai leapt into the air wrapped his arms around his waist and then threw him across the room. Whatever the actual power that the Cardinal had underneath that jacket either was not as powerful as Kurosanai had feared or was drastically reduced due to the fight with the de facto leader of the group Conri Lane. When he landed Kuro’s eyes picked up the Cardinal turn to his side and cough up some blood, which was a good sign since he was not sure how much range he would have with the gash across his stomach. The plan had been a success he had managed to keep Sebastian out of the way of Frigid as he got to Conri and now placed himself between the two entities.
‘Not bad. You managed to send him across the room.’ Fujin said with a mild mocking tone. From the tone Kurosanai could only assume that he had expected him to keep the fight up and to end it very quickly, something that was still in his mind. But it was then that the Cardinal spoke and Kurosanai’s stomach turned.
"Is your plan to take my life, just like that of Artapiko? It seems that is all your group has come here to do." The Cardinal spat with a tone of righteousness that seemed to cut from the actual truth. In reality all the group had really done was get into one fight after another and it had resulted in two deaths already today. William Watson, the idiot, had died fighting Arpatiko’s right hand man and then Kurosanai had the joy of killing Arpatiko himself. Something that would no doubt hang on his shoulders for days to come. It was in that moment that Kurosanai thought to himself that maybe, just maybe, there would be a way to talk everyone down from this scenario. He could immediately feel Fujin begin to stir, no doubt to yell at him, when Frigid’s voice cut through the air.
"Like you have any room to talk! You are the one that started all this! Had you not tried to kill our friend, and placed Arpatiko to fight a battle that was not his, he wouldn't be dead!" Frigid roared in disagreement. It was in that moment that Kuro turned to see his friend holding his other friend. His resolve seemed to steel and a smile crawled across his face. No matter what happened he would have to keep fighting for his friends to protect them from what stood on the other side of the room. There was no guarantee that he was going to survive, just as there wasn’t with the fight with Arpatiko, but he would have to fight none the less in order to protect those he cared about.
“Don’t worry Frigid, I will make sure that he is not able to harm anyone else here today.” Kurosanai said in a tone that seemed to be caring and nurturing. It was meant to reassure him that he was not going to have to get into the fight and to just take care of Conri. It was in that moment as he was looking back at Frigid that he saw Conri move and open his eyes and mouth something. It was too soft for Kuro to hear from where he stood but from the look of things he would be okay but in a great deal of pain until they were able to get him to a doctor. “Hey Conri, just sit back and relax. I will handle it from here on out. I will prove to you that you are not alone in this fight.” It would have sounded out of place normally and it probably did to an extent now but it was meant as a reassurance that he would not have to bear the weight of fighting by himself. He had found out that Conri held so much weight on his shoulders to protect those around him that on some level Kuro wanted to prove to him that he did not have to do so, that the prodigy of the Muzai would help him.
With a deep breath in he turned back towards the Cardinal of the Universal Church of One. He had to figure out a way to end this fight and he knew that the Cardinal was not going to give in and surrender and on top of that he would just be brutally butchered by either Frigid or Conri which he could not allow. Meaning that the fight would have to end with Kurosanai putting an end to the life of a second individual in less than an hour period and it was something that he was not sure if he was going to be able to do. His stomach turned and nausea built and was able to suppress it from being shown physically but he was not sure if he was going to be able to do so mentally.
‘Are you going to be able to do what is needed?’ Fujin asked in a somewhat annoyed tone.
“I am not sure,” Kurosanai mumbled to himself as he sized up his opponent from across the cavern. It shouldn’t be a hard fight. Based on his appearance he could not stand on his feet and now was coughing up blood which was never a good sign. But taking another person’s life was a hard enough thing to cope with, let alone taking a second one so quickly. He didn’t think he could actually do it.
‘Do you need me to do it?’ Fujin asked. Right after he asked something seemed to change, the air seemed to become tense and Kuro’s vision began to blur a little bit. He tried to shake it off but it persisted on.
“Yes…” Kuro answered back quietly and then an image of a symbol made of blood appeared in his head. It seemed to be something Fujin had put there and as such must have been a way for him to take control. He fingers tenderly touched the wound on his stomach and then drew the symbol on his right peck. Almost immediately he felt a rush that nearly knocked him off of his feet as the world seemed to be sucked away down a tunnel and all feeling seemed to melt away. The only thing he could hear was,
‘I will make this quick then.’
The air around Kurosanai would change dramatically and even his ki signature would change slightly. While it would be very similar but there would be enough to cause someone to take a second look at Kurosanai. Though the most noticeable difference in his normal demeanor would immediately come when he opened his mouth.
“I am going to end this very quickly. Now just go down quietly so you can meet your god. It would be a shame for you to suffer.” Kurosanai’s voice rang out in the cavern but it was not his normal voice. It was in fact that double voice that he had donned during the Galactic Tournament when he fought Adrien La’Moore. Frigid or Conri may recognize it but either case the tone of it would no doubt to try and chill the blood of those that heard it, it sounded like something that was far from natural.
Kurosanai would lean forward and seemed to pause for a moment before suddenly darting forward. He would close the distance between himself and the Cardinal in a matter of only seconds. He would fire in a hard kick that would smash into the ribs of the man. If unblocked based on the angle it would more than likely break several ribs. He then would quickly follow it up with a hard stomp to the apparently injured ankle of the Cardinal then quickly fired off several stiff shots to the face. Any attack that the man tried to launch back at Kurosanai he would use his speed to try and evade in a fashion so that he wasn’t caught again.

Aon spoke to his followers; it was a fact of the Universe. The realms of Gods and men were separated by planes of existence, yet at the same time where one in the same. Through the stars different deities existed in various forms. Some, like Aon were not a physical manifestation of a belief, but an idea itself. In millenniums past Gods had come and gone, their very existence brought about by the belief of their followers. Whether these immortal beings had once been trapped in mortal coils was the stuff of mysteries and lore, but truthfully their origin does not matter. What mattered now was that they were real and possessed real power that was capable of affecting the material plane. Conri Lane was now aware of the existence of Aon even if he didn’t believe in the deity himself, for the power he had felt at the hands of Sebastian was Aon’s will. The debate as to how that power came to be in the hand of a mortal was up for debate, but the Cardinal knew it to be true.
Resting on the ground still Sebastian watches the trio, unsure if his words might prevent them from assaulting him further. In all honesty he was prepared to flee and make his way back to Mement Mor should they allow him his life, but he was equally prepared to see Aon if he was not able to escape this. Regretfully his words only served to anger the Icejin, the armor skinned creature not taking kindly to how the events had unfolded, all of it apparently the blondes fault even though he had not been the one intruding on a planet that was not his own. The idea of the Cardinal traveling to another planet, with the knowledge of his affiliation with the Universal Church of One known, he had to wonder how well he would have been received. Would the Saiyan’s have accepted him with open arms or reacted as he had against Conri? It did matter; he wasn’t going to be leaving the system anyway.
Eyes’ dipping to view Conri the human was surprised to see Conri Lane stirring some, regaining consciousness as his power signature rose back to a more respectable level. A strong warrior indeed, but one born with the wrong heritage. The two of them were quite alike in terms of personality under normal circumstances, perhaps they would have been friends if they had been born to the same side of this war. That was beyond their control though, just as the conflict between Aon’s followers and the Saiyan’s was one they could end single handedly.
Next his blue orbs look over to the human boy, his words not comforting in the least. The strange eyed human spoke as if he had the confidence to continue his attack on the Cardinal, take his life even, but his body language said the opposite. This entire time he could have been attacking, continued his assault after connecting with that vicious uppercut. There was some sort of conflict in the young man’s eyes; he could see the hesitation there. Maybe if Sebastian could appeal to the side that was making him hesitate he might yet live. Looking at the human’s face, the Cardinal did not believe the boy to be a killer. That was when the change happened.
Not able to hear the conversation going on within Kurosanai’s head Sebastian could only react to the shift in the male’s voice and signature. As if unleashing a hidden power or activating a special technique the boy’s voice was not the same when next spoke, deeper and almost sounding to be from a man older than himself. Whatever the explanation was, whether it be some hidden power or just a shift in personality, the black haired human was soon back on the attack.
Again the other human launches himself at the Cardinal, the blonde still sitting on the floor of the cavern, blade held loosely in his hand. Not exactly fast enough, or in the condition go to rise to his feet Sebastian does the only thing he can think of. Dropping backwards towards the ground he lifts his sword up before him. With his back dropping back to lay on the floor his sword points up towards the assaulting Muzai, hoping to use his own momentum to drive the blade through his torso.

The more time that passed, the more Frigid's anger against Sebastian grew; and the more disappointed Frigid became. It was evident that he would not have to step in to help Kurosanai, and while that was good, at the current moment there was nothing Frigid wanted more than to destroy the blond man himself. Against Arpatiko, Frigid was little more than a distraction, and now, he was simple a cheerleader.
That said, it was also a good thing he wasn't fighting. As a very horse voice broke him out of his mood, "Hey, Frigid." Turning to look at Conri, Frigid beamed happily, his grump mood vanishing in an instant, "Conri! How are you feeling?"
Kurosanai had told Frigid not to worry; that he would make sure that Sebastian would no longer hurt anyone; and as he saw Conri stand, he spoke to him as well. Sebastian moved very little, and to Frigid it seemed that the fight would be very one-sided. But that might be for the best.
What happened next was a surprise. Had Frigid, Conri, Kurosanai, and Sebastian not been the only ones in the area, Frigid might have sworn there was another. Even lacking the ability to sense energy, Frigid could feel something change in the cavern. His head would snap towards Kurosanai as the man spoke, a voice not his own. It was a threat to Sebastian and something the Icejin could not seen Kurosanai saying, then he attacked.
Lowering his voice, but not straying his eyes from the battle, not wanting to miss even a second, Frigid spoke to Conri, "Is it just me, or has Kurosanai changed?" Though it was beyond Frigid if Conri could sense power signatures, he hoped his friend would confirm his sanity. After all he'd been through on this forsaken planet, Frigid was not sure that was something he still had.

There was a lot that he had missed while he was unconscious as Kurosanai and Sebastian were fighting now, which was something he wanted to avoid happening. Sebastian was his problem to deal with, letting him go after his friends was something that he wanted to prevent, and his teeth grit in anger. He wanted to keep them from getting caught up in his war, especially since it was a war directed at Saiyans and Half-Saiyans, but he had failed yet again to do what he wanted or needed. This was really starting to just piss him off, was he really letting himself be that soft, that he would continue to endanger others with his actions? If that was the case then he would have to listen to his instincts now and make sure that it never happened anymore. If the deciding factor wasn't his power, then it had to be his own fault for not wanting to take that last step that was needed, but no more. His thoughts were suddenly distracted by Kurosanai calling out to him, telling him that he would prove that Conri wasn't alone in his fight, but that made it worse on Conri to an extent. That he needed to be rescued like this in the first place, he was tired of not being able to protect what was important to him.
Then Frigid asked him how he was, and right now there were probably a few answers that he could give to that. "I'm alright, but seriously pissed right now. Thanks for saving my ass though," he wouldn't take his anger out on Frigid, he was only angry with himself and no one else should be on the receiving end of that. Still, he was going to fix that starting today, Kurosanai wasn't going to finish his own fight for him, he was going to end it with his own two hands and there was nothing that would stop him at this point. Pushing himself up off the ground, despite the protests that his body made, especially his leg he forced himself to stand up so that he could face Sebastian still, placing an arm on Frigid's shoulder to take some of the weight off the leg until he could focus enough power to hold his weight off of it. That was when he heard what could only be described as a dual voice coming from Kurosanai, it's intent to chill whoever it was talking to, which made him all the more suspicious of who was talking. Kurosanai wasn't like that from what he gathered when they talked after fighting in the Gamma Slums. This one seemed far more vicious and not someone that he would be trusting, especially with that tone in his voice.
Frigid voiced his own concerns about it, and it was true something in him had changed, for all intents and purposes this was not their friend Kurosanai. "I don't think that is him, to be honest, the demeanor is far too different." He could gather that much from what he said and the way he said it, this wasn't something that he liked and there was no way he could sit still now. Not with someone he didn't know or trust trying to get involved in his fight, this wasn't anything like what Kuro had said either, whoever this person was it was not his human friend. The sword in his hand molded itself into a lever action rifle, something simple that wouldn't require a lot of Ki expenditure. Taking a deep breath he aimed down the sights to aim for the right spot on Sebastian's head, he definitely wasn't going to let this new person interfere with the fight. He'd talk to Kuro afterward about it, but for now, action was a more pressing concern for him. As he released the breath he pulled the trigger, hoping that it would be a swift death for the Cardinal so that he wouldn't have to suffer any. It was also a turning point for the Half-Saiyan as well, he wasn't going to be as nice towards his enemies he couldn't afford it anymore.
If he really wanted to have an organization that would work with his goals, then he couldn't hesitate to take that step anymore, maybe before actually doing it he would ask them. However, that would be for after the fight was decided, he screwed the pooch this last time and it was costing quite a bit to make things right.

Post by Kurosanai Muzai on Aug 15, 2014 21:36:42 GMT -5
Time was ticking away. Through past experiences Fujin had found out that the body of a living Muzai could not contain his spirit for extended periods of time without dealing irreparable damages to both the soul and physical body. Many times he had found Muzai that had been compatible but through repeated use the Muzai clansmen would slowly begin to lose more advanced motor functions of some cognitive functions. He chalked it up to two reasons the first being that his soul was so powerful to begin with that containing him in something other than his body was probably not the fully possible. The other reason was that a body is not truly meant to house two souls, perhaps some beings had two souls within the same mortal body but these were rare and ultimately led to severe blowback. It was simple only one soul was meant to be in each individual body.
‘Come on move faster!’ The thought raced through his mind as he attempted to push Kuro’s body past its limits. The boy would no doubt feel the repercussions of it but if it meant life or death then the so called prodigy would deal with a bit of soreness.
Even just controlling Kurosanai for this short period of time he could already feel his muscles start to strain against the Fujin’s control. Part of that was that the boy’s body was naturally fighting it as it was unnatural. This only seemed to annoy the founder of the Muzai clan. Fujin’s breathing was calm and his eyes focussed. The resolve behind them was unrelenting as he studied the Cardinal of the Universal Church of One. He knew that Kurosanai had never encounterd something like the Cardinal before and even he seemed to stump Fujin. Fujin had known of androids having power but being unaffected by the Aoiro simply due to the fact that they did not possess ‘normal’ ki. This however was different as his eyes could see the ki pathways darting throughout his hands and head but anywhere the coat he wore covered his body the ki was blocked. A smirk crawled across his face as he thought that the effect must pass on to masking any ki signature a person may give off if he eyes couldn’t pick up the pathways. He could not prove anything however due to Kurosanai lacking the ability to truly sense ki that way, something that the founder of the Muzai would have to get on the boy the to do.
As the air whipped past his face and his mind set on the Cardinal that stayed laying on the ground he had failed to notice what was going on behind him. Never did he expect one of the two, either the Icejin or the Saiyan, to fire a blast of energy forward. Fujin would be so focused on reaching his target that he would not notice the blast until it was only a few feet behind him which by then he was almost on top of the Cardinal. The next few moments would be a bang bang scenario. First Fujin would pick up the blast’s energy signature and out of natural reflex cause him to jump upwards to get out of the way. As he did that however the badly injured Cardinal would fall backwards to le down on his back causing the sword to rise in the air. The blade would actually catch the prodigy of the Muzai’s ribs slightly opening another long but shallow wound. The blade after slicing away at the flesh would cut through the jacket that Kuro wore causing a massive swath to be ripped away.
“Shit!” The double voice would curse as the hot sensation of pain spread throughout the side of the young boy. He would perform an awkward flip over the Cardinal due to the try to not only dodge the energy blast but also the sword before landing hard on his right shoulder and sliding a few feet past the Cardinal. His fingers dug into the ground causing rock to break free and dirt to slide up underneath his fingernails. Fujin had had the Cardinal right where he wanted him but whichever of the two that fired the blast was responsible for causing more damage to the body of Kuro. Kurosanai had handed of the reigns of the fight to Fujin because Fujin had the resolve to do what must be done in order to ensure that the boy’s allies continued to live. As his eyes came back up he would see the slight plume of smoke from the end of the sword that the Saiyan was weakly holding it in front of his chest. “Fucking brat…” Fujin growled.
His next action that he would take would wholly depend upon the poorly conceived attack of the weakly standing Saiyan on the other side of the room. If the attack was dodged outright by the Cardinal due to the motion of him falling backwards onto the ground or otherwise Fujin would charge straight back in, quickly snatch the sword from the Cardinal’s hand spin it to so the blade faced downwards before turning it on its master. If the Cardinal blocked the attack but managed to hang onto his sword Fujin would perform the exact same move set while if the sword was knocked from his hands due to the blast then he quickly snatch the sword from the ground and once again turn it on its master. If by some chance the blast successfully connected with the Cardinal and managed to steal his life from him than Fujin would simply make his way over to the body and examine the Cardinal to make sure he was dead and to see what that coat actually was. In the first three scenarios due to exhaustion from the Cardinal he would more than likely not have enough strength block any grab attempts made by the Muzai warrior. And thanks to being only a few feet away from him he could retrieve the sword be back on him in a matter of seconds. In every attack scenario the final blow would come from a sword plunge straight to the throat to sever the wind pipe. While not the cleanest of kills if done properly the Cardinal would only feel the pain for a few seconds before passing into the afterlife. The attacks though were specifically aimed for the throat however because Fujin did not want to ruin any integrity the coat may have had. It would be interesting to see exactly what the next few seconds would bring. This fight was going to end in the next few seconds one way or another.

Sebastian saw the human rushing towards him, his sword propped up before him so that it would impale the foolish boy. Sebastian had given him a chance to end the fight with no further bloodshed, but he had chosen to continue. The blonde had not wanted to kill the boy since he was not Saiyan and he was not an enemy of the Universal Church of One, until he had chosen to continue fighting. Letting a small smirk form on his lips the Cardinal was ready to skewer him, suddenly though, the boy lifts into the air. Trying to compensate the blonde male was not fast enough to properly adjust, Kurosanai just too fast, his speeding saving his life.
The slight movement he was able to do before the boy was on him did get him a glancing blow, the wound mostly superficial though. With his last ditch effort he manages to take the shallow slash across his torso, slamming down into the dirt a short distance away. Why had the human only shifted to the side if he had seen the sword, why not try and counter it in some way? The tactic made no sense; any sensible fighter would have at least launched some sort of blast in terms of a counter attack. A moment later, it all made sense. Behind the charging human came a blast, presumably fired from the pair off in the distance. Not having sensed it, the human’s signature blocking it, the shot was a complete surprise.
With Sebastian on his back, sword still raised he was safe from the blast, but his blade wasn’t. The shot connects with the side of his blade, the sudden force enough to rip the weapon from his hands. Knocked from his hands the sword bounces and clatters across the stone. Rolling onto his stomach the Cardinal starts to crawl as fast as he can, hands clawing at the dirt. Still weakened from his fight against Conri Lane the blonde needed to get his hands on the weapon, it was his best chances of defending himself against whichever one of them chose to attack next.

Frigid was surprised by his friends answer to his first question. He was angry? At least he was alive. That was what was important. Frigid helped his friend to his feet, and allowed him to steady himself using his shoulder. Looking onwards to the fight, Conri answered Frigid's second question. He too thought there was something different about Kurosanai, but Conri said he didn't even think it was him.
Frigid's brow rose as he watched Kurosanai's movements. Conri wasn't very far off with his guess. He spoke different, his demeanor was different, and his movements were different. There was something strange going on with the human. Perhaps that same kind of energy Frigid feared took over Kurosanai. But it didn't seem like a violent change, not a change he fought, anyway.
Silently, Frigid cursed his lack of ki sense. If he could have felt the energy radiating from his friend, he might have been able to figure out just what had happened. However, at the moment, there was no time to throw a pity-party. No, instead, he made a mental note to himself to change that, and focused on the battle and his surroundings.
Conri was standing, that was good. Sebastian was still on the ground, and Kurosanai was readying a rush attack towards him. A smirk formed across Frigid's face once again. It seemed this fight would be one sided, but the situation changed in an instant, and Frigid's smirk faded. The Icejin had not noticed the gun forming in Conri's hand, but as the blast was fired, and realization struck, Frigid's hands shot into action.
Quickly slapping the weapon away from his from the fighters, Frigid could only hope to prevent further shots fired. As Kurosanai fumbled in air, and grazed against Sebastian's blade, the Icejin shot a look at Conri, "What the hell are you doing?" he hissed, eyes locking on the blue-haired Saiyan. "This isn't your fight anymore, Conri! Stepping in is only going to get someone hurt!"
The extent of Kurosanai's wound was unknown to Frigid, until the young man stood back up. Frigid winced against the sight of blood, refraining from shooting his Saiyan comrade a look. Studying it, it didn't seem like it was anything but cosmetic, but Frigid was sure it hurt none-the-less. Taking a deep breath, Frigid's eye remained on what was happening in front of him, but his tone dropped to a whisper, and his words stood directed towards Conri, "You are in no condition to return to battle, my friend. Kurosanai is more than capable of taking care of himself. I have seen what his power can do." Forcing a smile, Frigid glanced to Conri for just a second, crossing his arms over his chest, "But, if on the off chance he runs into trouble, I will finish this for him." Eyes returning to the fight, Conri might notice a look on the Icejin's face, and deep within his eyes. A look that, if Frigid could see himself, would have frightened him. A look of hunger for bloodshed.

Kurosanai or rather, whoever that was now, decided to get in the way of his shot rather than letting him finish the fight himself. Conri wouldn't let anyone else deal with the Cardinal, this was his fight to finish and he wasn't going to let anyone do it for him not after he'd come this far with things already. Plus he was in a bad mood now, and there was currently only one source for him to put his anger towards, Sebastian was not going to be getting taken from him. His shot had managed to leave Sebastian in an extremely vulnerable position though, and he would try to follow up on that with another shot. Unfortunately, that wouldn't work as Frigid swung out his hand and knocked the gun from his own, before asking what the hell was wrong with him. The words that followed would be what would set the Half-Saiyan off, the Cardinal wasn't his opponent anymore. The hell did they know about who his opponent was?!
"Who the hell are you to decide what is or isn't my fight anymore? The whole Universal Church of One is my enemy, including that bastard, so don't you even try telling me it isn't my fight anymore. If people don't want to get hurt then they better stay out of my way right now, otherwise it's on them," from there he turned and moved to pick up his weapon once more. The pain of his busted up leg still throbbing, but with it being suspended for the moment he could tolerate it. Taking aim once more, he fired off a shot at the sword to keep Sebastian from getting his hands on it again, before taking aim at the Cardinal himself to get a lined up shot once more, this time for a spot on the spine to try and paralyze him. He didn't hesitate this time and pulled the trigger once more, the second shot flying right towards its target and he didn't even bother to wait for it to hit before lining up the final shot.
"It doesn't matter what happens to me, I made a promise that I would stop them and that's what I'm going to do, no one is going to stop me. It's not a matter of Kurosanai being able to handle himself or whatever, this is my fight and I plan to be the one that ends it. You and Kurosanai need to stay out of my way on this because I will not break promises I have made, and this is one that needs fulfilling immediately," his words were colder than how Conri normally spoke, it wasn't that he was becoming more bloodthirsty, if anything it was the opposite, he was killing off his emotions to get done what needed doing. He'd given Sebastian a chance to walk away from it all, and the Cardinal turned it down, with that it was clear that he would go about killing more innocents over something so stupid. The fact that he didn't see anything wrong with murdering people was especially disturbing, but it confirmed everything for Conri and made him realize that there was no way to save someone that had such ignorance grained into them from childhood.
It was regrettable, but if he wanted to bring forth a peaceful universe than it was time to start removing the Cardinals from it and Sebastian would be the first one to go. He lined up for a third shot once more taking aim for the head, but this time aiming for the dead center, where the shot would be instantly fatal if it connected properly. The Half-Saiyan had been pushed as far as he would allow and this was going to be the beginning of his push back, and he was not going to be nice about it. The aggressiveness of the Saiyans sparking alive within him and pushing his cause forward form this moment on. Pulling the trigger on the final shot, he hoped that Sebastian would just go peacefully now, and rest wherever he found himself in the afterlife. (blah, crappy but all I could think of right now)

Model Zero and Mr. Watson raced across the cavern. The android took long and powerful leaps one after the other, each with a gale forming at his wake; rising into the air and arching back down to the ground, he could propel himself for another willful leap. The ground creaked with his step, cracking at the sign of his toes before he was set off into the air once more. His surroundings were nothing but a blur of dark colors meshed together in an irrecognizable pallete. He moved so fast, it was impossible to know exactly where he stood at one point in time, but his scouter served as a guide. His eyes eagerly slanted on the numbers displayed on his screen, he observed as they decreased rapidly, the distant power-levels of his comrades not too far off. Kurosanai, Conri, and Frigid were at their peaks and Sebastian was inevitably going to die, but the android hoped he would last until they arrived.
After Conri Lane and Sebastian flew off to fight on their own. The rest were left to deal with Arpatiko, leader of the Kinigo's, and Tycho, Lieutenant and Warrior. Everything was moving fast and quickly devolved into mindless fighting the android tried to avoid. William Watson and Tycho had disappeared into the darkest corners of the cavern. It wasn't until the lieutenant returned that everything went out of proportion. The order Model Zero strived to maintain shattered between his fingers, the alleged death of their comrade served as the final push Kurosanai and Frigid required to fight Arpatiko. In turn, Zero was left to fight the lieutenant as they dived down the cavern walls to engage each other in an aerial battle to the death. Zero's idea was to rush towards the city, forcing the lieutenant to restrain himself. There, the android could use the villagers to his advantage; however, it was easier said than done. It wasn't long before Tycho cast a rock slide to their abysmal descent. On the other hand, it proved to be an asset as the android -as much as the Kinigo- used it as a stepping stone to move around the air more efficiently.
The warriors fought between the falling rocks in a display of speed and precision. They were alike in the sense that they wore the fruits of technology on their shoulders, and both fought in the name of their masters. The battle dragged and they grew ever closer to their uneventful demise at the hard ground closely approaching them. There was a bright light and a powerful wave that roared from Conri's location. The power of two beams, stronger than anything the android had ever witnessed. The wall beside them crumbled under the intense pressure, adding more and larger rocks to the assortment. Boom! the land quavered as the rocks finally collided with the hard ground and buried Model Zero and Lieutenant Tycho into what would be their graves.
In all honesty, the android thought it was his end. He was prepared to see what the afterlife held for a being who did not truly live. He lay amongst the rubble, defeated and content with spending the rest of his existence staring at the rays of light creased between the cracks of the rocks, lights that traveled from the artificial lamps of Belegost's underground city, reflected from the walls of the cavern itself. Content until he was urged to stand by the fleeting voice of a familiar stranger. It was that man again. The android thought he had disappeared, and he was prepared to disregard the whole experience as a misnomer, an inexplicable variable to the equation. The man brought to his attention the fact that he was still functioning. He said he needed Zero. Zero did not know how he could help, nor how this man was connected to him or why the man chose him, but the idea that someone needed him somehow renewed his resolve. Stand... the voice ordered, and so he did.
First a single arm, then his entire body as the android climbed out of the catacombs. The area had been still and quiet, Tycho's energy signature no where to be found. The android set his eyes towards the others to check how they have been progressing, until he was distracted by the sudden shuffling of rocks in the distance. His scouter beeped as a familiar energy signature spawned out of nowhere, thinking it was Tycho, the android approached from behind to make the final blow. To his surprise, it was none other than William Leo Watson Jr., the man thought to have been slain by the lieutenant. Model Zero did not believe his eyes, thinking it was some sort of trick he snuck behind the man and rest the muzzle of his cannon to the back of his head. The android interrogated him, trying to find some kind of logical explanation as to how Mr. Watson had appeared where he had. What was even more curious was his clothing. The man was perfectly clear from any signs of struggle. His clothes were not ripped, his skin was not bruised, he had been as if he had not fought at all.
The android began to wonder whether this entire mission was just a ploy by this so called Universal Church of One, and William was their little spy. He could envision it. The moment Tycho charged Mr. Watson and disappeared into the dark corridors of the cavern, they would fake the man's death -for what purpose, he was not sure; perhaps, Mr. Watson had completed his end of the contract by bringing them this far and his 'death' was his way out of the conspiracy, his life saved from both sides and free to leave now that his job had been done. That would explain the situation. Regardless, the man had proven to the android that he was indeed who he claimed to be, and that his alliance remained with Lord Zex, his duty to the mission, and responsibility for the team. And so, they had been chasing after the others since that moment. After a long climb up the walls of the cavern, they were brought here.
At last, the others were within sight. Conri Lane was on the floor bickering with Frigid while Kurosanai jumped out after being partially injured by Sebastian, whom had still been breathing and fighting for his life. "Mr. Watson," the android spoke to his nearby comrade. "Apprehend the saiyan, he must not fight another round!" He said. Of course, there was no stopping the bullets that had already left the saiyan's weapon, but Mr. Watson could stop him afterwards and join Frigid in forcing Conri into submission. The reason he assigned that task to Mr. Watson was twofold; first, he had more influence than Zero, and the shock of his living and breathing image would surely cause the saiyan to stop if only to wonder for a second -perhaps it would even distract Kurosanai. His other reason was to keep the man safe. If Zero sustained damage after what he was about to do, then he would live either way. If Mr. Watson were fatally injured by mistake, then that would be the end of it.
Already in his Override state, and without the restrictions of his heavy weights, the android was at full power: 58,974 exactly for anyone capable of reading his energy. On the other hand, being an android, his energy was not detectable by normal means, keeping him under the radar until he revealed himself. Sebastian was crawling on the floor, reaching pathetically for his sword which had been blown away from his grasp by Conri's attack. The saiyan prepped for another round. Zero has his sight on the sword, contemplating whether he should reach for it and use it to his advantage, but the saiyan blasted it with his first shot and the weapon drifted farther away from Sebastian's reach. The android's mind raced with a number of possible solutions, like solving an equation. Even if he got in Kurosanai's way, Conri would kill Sebastian. Even if he took the bullets and allowed himself to be struck, Kurosanai would take Sebastian's life. There was only one solution. Only one truth.
Zero hastened, making the last effort and putting all of his energy into his plan. Two bullets fired off. There was no way he could stop them, one of them going for Sebastian's spine and the other as a failsafe, however neither were fatal to the blond man's life. With Conri busy talking to Frigid and preparing the final blow, Kurosanai wasting time to reach for Sebastian's sword, Model Zero was a little faster than the human and so he lunged at Sebastian himself without any hesitation. Whether or not the first two bullets hit and paralyzed the blond man did not matter, either way, Zero would jump into the fray -nobody would see it coming as his energy was not something they could sense.
Time seemed to slow down as Zero crouched over Sebastian. Kurosanai reached for the sword. Conri peered through the aperture sight. Frigid attempting to stop Conri. Zero's hair flowed down over them before they were both gone in a blinding flash, nothing but brown threads of hair drifting towards ground where they had once stood. If all went as planned, Zero would be crouched at a considerable distance away from the others with Sebastian laying under his arm. The android stood up to face his teammates, "cease fire!" he projected his young voice with a sense of urgency and authority, echoing throughout the cavern. His golden hair flowed to the side in waves as he stood tall with his green saber humming beside him. The android might have not been recognizable at first, but it was him. Most of his armor had been stripped from his body; only his red helmet and the white piece on his pelvis remained. The clothing left were the black skin-tight suit he wore from neck to ankles and his red worn boots. In his abdomen, he had the mark of Tycho's sword once it had purged his body, but it was cauterized and closed promptly after he was engulfed by the Kinigo's powerful energy wave. His entire body was covered in bruises and wounds by the lieutenant's blade, but a brand new wound lined across his cheeks. The bullet which was supposed to end Sebastian's life, barely took Zero's.
Kurosanai and the others would no doubt protest against his sudden appearance and perhaps question his alliance just as he had questioned Mr. Watson's. And Sebastian might have felt relieved, thinking the android had migrated to his side, but he was sure William's presence would work in their favor in persuading their comrades. The android spoke again, "This man is our only lead. Kill him now and we're back where we started." Looking at Kurosanai, he reminded them of their actual mission, Zero commented, "He has information we need to find the lost crew Lord Zex sent us to retrieve," his gaze shifted to Conri and Frigid appealing to the saiyan's needs, "he also has valuable information concerning this 'Church of One' that targets your race. Kill him now and we lose our only lead." In truth, there was nothing the android could do to stop them from killing Sebastian. Conri only needed to pull the trigger again and the blond man would fall beside the android without any warning, but he hoped his words would reach them and bring their reasonable minds back from the abyss of hatred and anger. He couldn't possibly understand what they were feeling, he couldn't possibly understand the weight of the tension that lurked in the air, but he also knew they wanted to keep their loved ones alive and if they followed what Zero said, then that would be assured. Killing a single member of the Church meant nothing when the rest roamed free in the vast universe.
This was it, the choice was theirs to make...

Post by Lord Zasham on Aug 22, 2014 19:24:31 GMT -5
The two warriors made good time as they scaled the walls of the tunnel, racing towards the cavern where the life or death battle was reaching the latter. As they ascended, William was still trying to make sense of everything which had occurred since the pair’s separation from the rest of the group. Lieutenant Tycho had attempted to take the apparent human out of the equation. Fearing his end, and the failure of his mission, Watson had relinquished control to the true host; Zasham.
The maniacal technarcana quickly attacked the unsuspected Kinigo. Unfamiliar with majins and their abilities, as are most, he was at a disadvantage as the demon’s body began to mold around him. It infiltrated the smallest crevices in his futuristic armor and borrowed into his skin. Then two became one as Tycho was engulfed by the black mass. Thus a mental battle for control began, as Zasham proved still too young and inexperienced to adequately control his power. The combination of science and magic caused confusion within the creature since birth and it was only beginning to unravel the depths of its nature.
The Lieutenant, in an apparent refusal to die, resumed control of the form in which he was assimilated. His will to follow his Lord’s order proving stronger than either the majin or the human; the dedication and determination proved overwhelming. Tycho then leapt from the dark crevice in which their short scuffle had occurred, to once more engage those who opposed Arpatiko’s will. Out of the shadows he appeared; giving the appearance of William’s demise. Without hesitation he followed his next order. Deal with the android.
It had proved an amazing battle, complete with fighting within a rockslide. However Willie was not present for any of it, relegated to being a mere spectator to the kinigo’s suicidal attempt at defeating his counterpart. No, instead the boy was trapped within the chaotic mind of the being which held him prisoner; wrenching control from a diehard warrior who could not accept the fate he had been dealt. Tycho believed the body to be his own and William’s metaphysical presence the result of some form of trickery.
As Man fought for his life, William fought for control. Realizing Arpatiko had fallen, the man who had raised him like a father after the Church turned his parents into collateral damage, Tycho designated suicide the only fitting end. A warrior’s suicide, as he sacrificed himself in the furthering of his master’s final wishes. Meanwhile, within Watson finally gained the upper hand, though from there it took a dark turn. The Lieutenant’s inconceivable persistence drove a fury into him, born from his own inability to accept that he too was just ‘data’ that was ‘downloaded’ by the technarcana. The rage took hold, as it had in his childhood many times before.
Willie slammed his ki chakrams into Tycho’s mask until it shattered into an explosion of metal debris; then continued until his face was an unrecognizable pool of flesh and blood. Scattered teeth and a lifeless wandering eye. He fell to his side and wept over what he had done, wept over the monster he was becoming. All the while feeling the host’s madness gripping him tighter and tighter. Then he awoke to reality beneath a massive boulder. The kinigo, believing himself dead, released control and the body liquefied into a pool of black and instinctively moved to the surface.
Watson, having proved his dominance, resurfaced upon reaching a crevice with enough space to reform. Pushing the rock off of him, he pulled off his weights and sighed heavily. Then the android’s muzzle pressed tightly against the back of his skull. It seemed it was over, that his dark secret was uncovered, but he had somehow convinced Man otherwise. Perhaps it was the fact that the truth remained, though obscured, intact. He was William Watson and he was committed to the success of the mission. Leading the android to think that he had been knocked unconscious by Tycho and then awoken by the collective destruction of Sebastian’s and Conri’s beams. That he had been buried in the cavern’s walls, which were shattered by the resulting explosion, and he had fallen with them down to the vertical tunnel’s end.
William did not like to lie, especially to his comrade, but it was better than the truth. A truth he could hardly face himself. The way they would look at him, treat him. It was better that everyone continued to believe him to be a simple human boy, thrust into an extraordinary situation due to his love of his family. That was why he was there after all, it was all a job. While he may receive money from Prometheus for his work, it was not why he came under his employment. Finding out what had happened to the team meant his mother being cured of the illness that was slowly, painfully, killing her. Zex liked to have people he could trust via one means or another. Man was a machine and could be controlled thusly; while Willie was controlled via the love for his mother.
The two warriors suddenly ran out of wall to climb as their final pushes sent them cresting over the tunnel’s ledge and into the air of the cavern. As gravity took hold once more and they began to come descend to the cavern’s floor, the android turned and spoke to him.
"Mr. Watson, apprehend the saiyan, he must not fight another round!"
Words breaking the silence shook him back to the task at hand. Reprioritizing, he shoved his reflections to the side and shifted focus. Man was a machine, with a logical mind. While a technarcana had a similar mental make, William was still too entrenched in being human. He would feel bones break when their were none to break; he would breath when his body required no air. Thus he immediately deferred to the android’s judgment, accepting his request with a nod. As they came down, he shot off toward the zealous blonde and Muzai, while Willie fired himself off in the direction of the injured half-saiyan and Frigid.
“Holy hell!”
Would fire from his lips as Conri’s last bullet shot right pass the boy by only a few feet; enough to make him shudder. Even without being able to adequately sense ki levels he could still that shot alone may have killed him had his trajectory been slightly different. They wanted to kill this Cardinal badly; something William and Man would have to attempt to stop. He was their only chance. Landing directly in Conri’s field of fire, he threw up both hands in a plea to pause.
“Conri stop! Can’t you see he is our only chance at the truth!? If he dies then our mission is a failure and any hope of destroying his Church is gone!”
He yelled, not sure if his sudden reappearance would do any good. Perhaps he would see the truth in his words, as he would in Man’s should his temporary “rescue” of the Cardinal succeeded. Neither cared for the being’s health, only the wealth of knowledge he could provide. A wealth which would turn to ash should he cease to live. Careful to stay between Lane and his target, Willie shot a glance over his shoulders. He only hoped that Man had succeeded in his endeavor.

Post by Kurosanai Muzai on Aug 22, 2014 23:59:52 GMT -5
Things could not have gone any worse for Fujin Muzai then they were right now. No he was not on the end of a losing battle to a stronger opponent; if that was the case then the founder of the modern Muzai clan would have been able to know exactly what he had to do. Instead what had happened was that every single person that could be getting in his way was doing so. First it was Conri firing the blasts off in the distance while Kurosanai charged forward and now it was the current situation. All in all it was starting to piss off Fujin because he was being wasted and it came with dire consequences.
As Kuro’s fingers dug into the ground his eyes studied the next several seconds with intent focus they would quickly make subtle shifts all around the room. His mind had begun to calculate the angles and expectations of the next several actions. He had figured that one of three options could have occurred in the next several seconds. One: The blasts that Conri so graciously fired at his back would miss entirely. Two: They would be on point and the Saiyan would have killed the Cardinal just to prove a point that even weakened he couldn’t let the fight go. Or the third option being that the Cardinal somehow blocked the incoming attack. As it would turn out the third option was the correct was as the ki blast slammed into the sword knocking it from his hands. In that moment Kurosanai was able to see off in the distance what looked like Frigid and Conri arguing over something. He had no exact reason for why this was happening because from this distance all he could tell was that they were fighting. He would have no time to think on that though as his mind flashed back to what was happening in front of him.
Fujin’s battle instinct took over for a split second as he began to take several steps forward and to the side. The ancestor had seen this many times before so when he saw the direction that the blade was beginning to move out of the Cardinal’s hand he wasted no time. While Kurosanai could normally not pick up on the movement based on the direction of which way the sword was leaning in a split second Fujin could. This was not due to any special power but rather the instinct he had picked up through his numerous battles throughout his life. The sword would come flying out of the Cardinal’s hand and skid across the ground. The metal made a funny sound that was very distinctive as it collided against the rock. The Cardinal would scramble after it in a desperate fashion as it continued to crawl away from him. The sword however would drift almost directly into Kurosanai’s hand due to a similar reaction of that of a baseball player making a jump on the ball. His fingers would wrap around the hilt and snatch it from the ground as the prodigy of the Muzai closed in on the downed Cardinal.
And this is where everything sort of hit the fan.
Conri had obtained his gun blade once again and had fired it, again, directly at the Cardinal. The problem was that because of Kurosanai moving and Fujin trying to finish this fight it would directly put the prodigy of Muzai in danger, again. This was the least of the problems however as Fujin’s eyes picked up movement quickly approaching the Cardinal just like he was. In that split second he was not fully able to pick up what that movement was. It appeared to be a dark figure but the Aoiro that was ignited in either eye could not pick up any ki pathways inside of the figure. The order of events that would occur in almost a split second would go as follows. Whatever this figure was it would have reached the Cardinal right after Fujin had delivered the final blow to him. It would only miss blocking the attack by a mere fraction of a second. It would be at this point that the blasts would slam headlong into the figure and the body of the prodigy of the Muzai. The finally part was unnecessary damage to take at the current moment so Fujin would have to change the chain of events.
“This Saiyan is a massive pain in my ass,” Fujin would mumble in a double voice as he was mid movement as he moved forward.
Right before launching the attack on the Cardinal his foot would drive hard into the ground to propel him forward. The difference from what he had planned before was that he would also launched upwards and flip over where the Cardinal was standing. As he landed Fujin with deft practiced skill would slice through the first of the three ki blasts. It would split before travelling several feet and exploding. He would then slash downwards splitting the second one in half before the same result occurred. However as he went to swing for the third blast due to the fact that he was unfamiliar with the weight of the blade his timing would just be just a fraction of a second off. This would cause Fujin to begin to cut through the ball of ki before it detonated right in front of him. The resulting blast would lift him in the air and propel him backwards. The explosions would singe the bandages on his chest even more and inflict damage that was far from necessary due to the Saiyan’s prideful nature.
“Shit!” Fujin would curse as his eyes would briefly catch the appearance of yet another person on the field of battle. He was only standing a few yards off from where the proud Saiyan now barely stood on his own two feet with gun blade in hand.
Traveling through the air though Fujin was quickly able to recover and would have landed perfectly on his feet in a full stopped position but as he touched down he noticed something. Whoever the figure was it was going to land only a short distance off after grabbing and picking up the Cardinal leaving Fujin with a perfect opportunity. Seeing this Fujin would only touch one foot to the ground before darting at full speed towards the two combatants. If this figure proved to be an enemy it would not have room to let the Cardinal recover from all of the damage that was taken. Fujin would come to a hard stop just a few feet away from the darkly colored man or what he assumed to be a man despite the long flowing blonde hair. As he would turn back to address the group he would find Kurosanai standing there with Aoiro ignited and the Cardinal’s blade leveled at his face.
“Cease fire! This man is our only lead. Kill him now and we're back where we started. He has information we need to find the lost crew Lord Zex sent us to retrieve, he also has valuable information concerning this 'Church of One' that targets your race. Kill him now and we lose our only lead." The figure spoke in a voice that echoed without emotion. It was at that moment that everything clicked for the ancestor of the Muzai. This figure was in fact an android and that was the reason on why he couldn’t see any ki pathways coursing throughout his body. This caused a growl to slip to reverberate through Kuro’s throat as images of one of the final battles of Fujin’s life flashed before his eyes. The feeling of betrayal and anger flooded back to him. It took every ounce of strength to not charge forward in an attempt to remove the android’s head from its shoulders.
The situation had changed so much in the past several seconds that Fujin would actually require a few moments to fully process everything. His eyes would continually dart backwards to make sure that he would not be hit by yet another one of the prideful Saiyan’s attacks. ‘The fool was weak enough to lose consciousness in the fight. At that point when someone else steps in to save you, it is no longer your fight. I am getting real sick and tired of him thinking he is still relevant at the current moment.’
The fact of the matter was that unless the android moved from the Cardinal’s side Fujin would have to go through him in order to get to the Cardinal. He needed to end this fight now before the Saiyan became a liability and the possibility of having to deal with him entered into the situation. At the same time however he knew that Kurosanai’s group needed the information that this man possessed to complete the task that he was given. Meaning that his decision had already really been made for him.
“I will only hear him out if he removes the coat. From there I want you to toss it to me you animatronic freak,” Fujin would growl through the double voice that emanated from Kurosanai’s body. This would be the first time that the android would deal with Fujin and if the being happened to fitted with an advanced scouter he would be able to tell that while the energy signature was close to that of Kuro’s it was in fact different. While arbitrary to some the rationale for the Cardinal removing his coat was so that his ki signature would be able to be felt and that Kurosanai would be able to see the ki pathways in his body. By removing it the fighters in the room would be able to tell if the Cardinal was planning a sneak attack compared to before where they were in the dark.
“Toss me the coat and we can talk. Don’t and I remove both of your heads from both of your shoulders.” Fujin would reiterate with more force this time at the Cardinal and the android. After he finished speaking it was then that he noticed a coppery tone starting to form in his mouth. It was then that he began to curse inside of his mind. His hand was going to be forced if the Cardinal did not comply as Kurosanai’s body had already begun to show the signs of Fujin being within his body for too long.
One of two things would occur next. If the Cardinal and the android refused the demands then Fujin would take several steps forward and prepare for an attack immediately. If the Cardinal complied however and tossed Fujin the coat he would quickly shoot back this comment. “Speak church rat. Where is this missing crew? Make it quick!” The comment would be stern and uncaring in tone.

Originally Sebastian had begun this fight against Conri Lane and Conri Lane alone, the half-saiyan having been his main target. He had been moments away from finishing off his unnaturally reborn foe when everything had started to go downhill. First the human boy had arrived, fending off the Cardinal while his Icejin companion tended to the all but slain half-saiyan. Wounded and weak from his fight against the blue haired warrior, Sebastian had not been able to match the human, quickly thrown aside during his initial assault. While had was obviously at a disadvantage in terms of power and numbers it did not seem to be the same in terms of whit. The boy wanted to kill him that much was obvious and even as Sebastian attempted to offer information to spare his life the boy would hear nothing of it.
The headstrong human, much like his half-saiyan friend had then come in rushing for another attack, almost screwing himself on the Cardinal’s blade. A last minute shift to the side had saved his life while a blast from the now conscious Conri had disarmed Sebastian. Flipping over and going for the blade the blonde was barely aware of half of the events that unfolded in the next seconds. So focused on getting that blade back in his grip he didn’t even notice the approach of another signature, Model Zero’s insensible. Scrambling across the ground towards the weapon his hand was about to clasp the hilt when it lifts into the air before him. The blade had not risen on its own for the brash human boy had reached it before him, a death blow bound to foul. Instead the boy’s comrades own desire to kill Sebastian actually saved his life. Instead of cutting the Cardinal’s head from his shoulders the strange human jumps over him to intercept the blasts that had promised to be his doom should he have escaped the blade.
Attempting to follow his faster foe the human flips back over, already preparing to defend himself from the next attack sent his way. Again, instead of his life being taken by one of the group, one came to his aide. The android that had met along with the other two on the surface was upon him, but not with the intent to kill. The machine appeared to be damaged from a battle Sebastian had not seen yet whole enough to function at full capacity. As if an android from the Universal Church of One’s own forces it scooped him up and dashed aside, pulling him out of immediate reach of his would be attackers. Panting some with his mind and senses racing to keep up with all that had happened, the blonde glances back towards the human that had stolen his sword. Having only effectively dealt with the first two blasts in a salvo he had not been so lucky with the third, the resulting explosion sending him a short distance through the air. Proving his resilience he landed on his feet though, his attention turning back towards the Cardinal. For a moment Sebastian hoped more blast might hit the boy in the back until he saw another new factor in the equation. A short distance away another man stood between them and Conri, using his body as a shield to prevent the half-saiyan from firing again.
Aon worked in such strange ways. His god had shown him the truth of his faith multiple times and this was yet another example. The boy before him and the android, which had attacked with murderous intent moments before, now stayed his hand as he demanded the Cardinal’s coat. The garment, as magical as it was, was easily outweighed by his life. Floating up in the air slightly behind the android Sebastian made sure to keep his movements as simply as possible, not in the least bit threatening as he started to remove his coat. Slipping it from his body any that had not been able to read his Ki signature before could see it clearly now. Tossing the jacket to the boy Sebastian offers a weak smile.
”Zero is right. In terms of your missing crew, I am sure they are on Mement Mor. I know plenty about the Universal Church of One’s home planet, Mement Mor. Spare me and I can lead you there myself.” His words range of truth for he had no problem sharing the information. Aon had led him down this path so he must have had a plan to begin with; Sebastian had no qualms about trusting his life to fate. He was young, but had already known the grace of Aon’s touch and the strength of his will. Remaining slightly behind his recent savior the blonde keeps his arms slightly out to the side to show he was not planning any sort of mischief.

"Who did he think he was..." The question echoed in Frigid's head, playing over and over again. The rage from everything all hitting him at once, just from that stupid question. On the outside, his hands clenched into fists, his teeth clenching tightly together. He listened to Conri speak, but most of his words were lost, all replaced by that one question. Baring his fangs, the rage inside him was too much to bare as Conri aimed his gun once more, and fired another set of shots.
Drawing his first back, Frigid would aim it hard towards his comrade's own stomach, with every intent of connecting with it, "Who do I think I am!?" the Icejin roared back, spitting the words like venom. If his fist connected, he would step back from Conri and speak. If not, he would speak, but continue trying to hit him, "I thought I was your friend! I thought we were all on the same team!" the words leaving his mouth, the actions he was preforming, they were something that had been building since Sebastian's betrayal. Something Frigid though had vanished with Arpatiko. An anger from deep down within him.
"Who do you think you are, Conri Lane?!"
The rage inside him began clouding his head. He could no longer see the fight happening in front of him. The arrival of Zero and William was lost. If Conri was trying to avoid Frigid's punches, he would be too distracted by trying to hit him. If his first strike had his, his eyes would be dead-set on his, revealing the rage burning inside them.
"This Church of One isn't just your enemy, Conri!" if still frenzied, Frigid would have to be pulled off his friend. Either way, he would not notice William approaching them until the man made himself known to the Icejin.
(Horrible post. Just trying to get something up before the deadline.)

Frigid was apparently not pleased with the question, but Conri didn't care, none of them had the right to tell him Sebastian was no longer his to kill. When the punch struck his stomach, it broke his concentration that was keeping his injured leg wrapped in the thin membrane of psychokinesis and caused his entire weight to drop onto it. The backlash of his lost control caused spikes of pain to surge through his mind, and the pain from the leg itself was so intense that the only reaction his body had to it all was to vomit and with the vomit came blood as well. He couldn't stand anymore with how bad his leg was, and was slouched over, though if anything the strike only made his own anger surface more. Reaching into his he took the sensu bean that he had been saving and popped it into his mouth, taking a single bite out of it before swallowing. Watching as his wounds slowly disappeared and his leg was restored as well, allowing him to stand with ease once more. Flexing his hands he tested to be sure that everything was back to normal and for the most part he was back to being one hundred percent. "I thought the same thing, and then Kurosanai ignored what I told him after our first spar. Now you're trying to get in my way as well," he chuckled at that. However, he did need to take care of one thing first as well, and with his full base power he returned the punch to Frigid's stomach after his question of who Conri thought he was, but held back enough that it wouldn't cause serious damage.
"I think I'm the one he tried to kill, and I have every right to kill him in return. So I don't give a damn what anyone else has to say on the matter," that was all he would say on that. If they wanted to try to stop him, they were more than welcome to try, he would not let them get in his way, however. So what if he was being selfish, was everyone except for him suddenly allowed to be that way? He was not and had no desire to be a perfect being, he would do what he believed to be his proper course of action, nothing else would sway him from that path. He knew that the other two had arrived as well, but he simply chose to ignore them right now, though he listened to what they had to say and would give his answer later. His eyes remained locked on the Icejin if he wanted to keep this up, then Conri wasn't going to be pulling his punches anymore. It was harder enough to keep his instincts from taking full control over, having the others trying to get in his way or fight him would just end badly for everyone. He had been trying to end the battle so he could calm down again, but with everyone getting in his way that was proving to be impossible now. The next thing that Frigid said really caused a flash of red to surge past his eyes, as he grabbed the Icejin and pulled him close enough to whisper something in his ear. Though the expression on his face was hard to read, it was at least known it was not done in a pleasant tone.
Releasing his grip on Frigid he walked away from him, if the Icejin tried to attack Conri would be ready with his own counter; focusing his attention back on the two that entered and tried to get him to not kill the Cardinal. "Fine, get whatever information you want from him, after that you better get out of my way," there was no room for debate with him on this, if they stayed in his way he would not care what happened. It was a simple statement from him but the weight behind it was more than telling that he was not to be trifled with right now, the slightest spark would set him off. It was taking all of his control to just not kill the Cardinal right there and then, none of them would actually be able to stop him from doing it either. With him holding off he change Fragarach back into its sword form from the lever-action rifle, the familiar feel of the blade doing something to settle him at least, but it wasn't enough to stop his desire to kill Sebastian.
Speaking of, the Cardinal had the audacity to try and make a deal for his life to be spared, this caused a bark of laughter from the Half-Saiyan. "You're not getting any agreement to that from me, you will be dying today," he left his answer at that, he didn't care what anyone else decide, he was going to be killing him. No one was going to persuade him otherwise, of course it could be fun to give the Cardinal a bit of hope before he turned around and took it away as well. He would have to think on that more to see if the risks outweighed the opportunity to see the expression on his face as he suddenly found himself dead. In all honesty though, it might depend on a few factors. The fact of the matter was that the Cardinal would be dying today whether it would be through deceit or straightforward means, he wasn't feeling particularly picky today on that. (blargh, there, that's all I got. You people and your freakin' novellas!)
