Vixi nodded her head as the man spoke out to her, she was rather hungry but probably not much more than the man himself. Food was luxury to the girl as she had no money and no real way to really take care of her self other than finding what little food scraps that were left over by the rest of the people in the city, literally she was a scavenger at this point, taking what others left behind and eating it. Most of what she food though wasn't anything that a normal human could or would want to eat but Vixi herself wasn't very picky, banana peels, apple cores, old coffee beans, if it smelled good enough to attract her attention then she wouldn't hesitate too eat it. Luckily she had never ate anything that was beyond its life expectancy, with her greater sense of smell would tell her that something was bad before even having to get to close too it, though most wouldn't call the way she lived a great way to experience life but she manged to scrap by day by day. However as Vixi found her way moving out from the city in search if her father she found that the normal diet she would normal dine upon to become harder and harder to find, so as of late she had not found anything edible.
Taking the small plastic cup from her hands he refilled it with the bottle he carried in his hands, the small stream of water shimmered brightly in the high sun, as it made it difficult to look directly at as the streams of light, making her eyes squint. Extending the now freshly filled cup back to her, Vixi took the cup to her lips once again, though this time she sipped the drink rather than guzzling it down; while she enjoyed the first drink she wanted to savior the cooling taste of the second. As hot as it was already she was surprised too see that the man had even had the need of the fire in the first place, even with her short skirt and the cool drink she found that she was still hot. Taking a hold of the zipper of her jacket she pulled the metal cord down a few inches to allow her body heat to vent out from it, things had been so much simpler when she didn't have to worry about things such as clothes. She found that the baggy cotton clothes she wore confined her body movements, itched and not to mention made her really hot, though they were nice to have whenever the sun went down. If it hadn't been for the fact that her father had told to always keep her clothes on she would have taken them off a long time ago, she thought it strange that everyone in the city seemed to wear them even when the blazing sun was set in the sky.
Sitting with her knees sticking out front and her legs stuck under her body Vixi began to fan herself, the heat was rather too much for her but she was glad she had found a place to rest and something cool too enjoy for a little while. Hearing the crinkling sound of something coming from inside the mans backpack she turned her head to see that he was offering her another one of the sandwiches. Vixi didn't have to be told twice as she snagged the meal from his hands and just like before she took the bread from the meal and bit into the meat bits that was left over. Chewing the tender meat inside of her mouth she extended the two slices of bread back to the man as she wasn't going to eat them, she didn't want to be rude but at the same time she wasn't really looking for a nap at this point.
It was a little late as he told her to savior the last sandwich but it was already heading down to her stomach before he had even managed to end the sentence, Vixi was a fast eater not knowing if the meal would be there for very long. The meat was more than enough to fill her once empty belly and she was now content, sure she could devour a whole buffet if given the chance but it was more than enough to keep the monster in her stomach at bay for a few hours which was more than she had before.
Asking if she could speak Vixi flopped her ears at the thought, people always asked her that question and she understood why, she had noticed that being able too talk was something that most people were capable of but not her. Saying his name and over pronouncing his name Vixi gave him a frown as the look on her face seemed to say 'are you kidding me'. Sighing slightly she nodded her head at the question that she couldn't talk but it was more than obvious that the man could given by his they way he pronounced his name. Vixi couldn't speak but she did seem to have a fair grasp on the English language as long as big words weren't used she was fine.

He smiled as he watched Vixi take the meat out of the sandwhich, and handed him the bread, which he happily took and nom nom nommed. "Thank you." he said, as he noticed how she reacted when he asked her if she could speak. "Ah, Your a mute eh? Cant speak? Thats alright. I actually used to know a few other people who couldnt speak." He said as he shuffled closer to her, and slowly put his arm around her.
"Dont worry about it, I know you will be able to talk when your ready to." he added with a smile. "Listen, if you want, you could stay with me, and you wouldnt have to go hungry again."
"Brandon, You dont know this girl, and your asking her to tag along with you? Why?" Verlith asked Brandon, who only replied in thought "Verlith, Shes all alone, she was starving, and shes cute. What else am I supposed to do? She probably doesnt even have a place to sleep at night. Give he a break."
"Fine, but at the first sign of major trouble, shes gone. Understand?" Verlith said, as Brandon shook his head. "We have beaten down dragons... How much trouble can one adorable foxgirl be?"
"You do know that Foxes are known for their cleverness and mischievousness?"
"Never thought of that, But we will see Verlith. I have to help her for now."

As Vixi had offered the white pieces back to the man she now knew as Brandon; accepting the food back he thanked her as she dug into the third meal she had eaten that day, she was really hoping that he really did have more but sniffling the air around her she could tell that the last one was the one that he held in his hands. Now with nothing else to eat she sat on the soft thick grass as she watched Brandon consume what was let of the food, it was a sad sight to see it was all gone but she took solace in the fact she had gotten something to eat. Sipping the water Vixi did the best she could to cool herself from the wrath of the suns glare, already she had done her best to stay away from the fire and even went as far to un-zip a small portion of her jacket, having been the only pair of clothes she had there was noting she could had switched into when the weather had grown hotter during the day time.
Finishing off the meal as the small crumbs clung to his face he spoke out to her that she could stay with him if she wanted to, but Vixi wasn't to knee on the idea, even though he mentioned the idea of never going hungry again. Just from the looks of the man alone he didn't look like he ate that well himself, witch got Vixi to thinking about him. He was rather skinny for a male, usually they were much stockier in length not to mention wider in the upper body...had seen eat all the food he had? Vixi passed the idea back and forth inside her head, he had mentioned that the last sandwich she had eaten was the last one he had, it was all possible that she had consume all the food to his name. She felt bad at such a thought, often her hunger would drive her not to think correctly and lead her to doing things she wouldn't normally had done.
Even with those facts and feelings in mind she didn't think it was best to stay with Brandon, while he was a nice person; sharing his food and water with her, it looked like he had a hard enough time taking care of himself let alone taking care of a hyperactive, bottom less pitied, curious, wandering girl like she was; though the first step was admitting she wasn't was about to change her ways. Flopping her ears agasint her head she nodded her head as to reject his offer, she felt bad at saying so but there were places she needed to be, and she already had a home waiting for her back in the city. She was sure Jenn was worried about her by now, she had only meant to sneak away for a few hours as she wanted to go wander the country side for any signs of her father but had lost track of the time and now she was lost in the middle of the woods. Though... the man was not like her, in the sense that he was human while Vixi was ...well that is something she still has yet to find out; regardless it was all possible that Brandon knew of were the city was. Had it not been for the strong smells of the forest she would had just simply sniffed her way back but there was too much interrupting her sense of smell. But how was she supposed to come with any way to tell the man? She could not speak and she had nothing of which to draw with.
With the added heat coming from the man body as Brandon held it round her she needed to cool down more as small beads of sweat were beginning to run down her face and her legs. Brushing the man's arm off she stood as her tail brushed against the side of his face; unknown to such a thing Vixi made her way over too the small creek that lay nearby. It wasn't much larger than a few feet across and not nearly deep enough for a proper swim, but it did have some protection from the stinging sun not to mention the water would feel cool against her hot skin. Nearly skipping at this point Vixi jumped into the water as her impact created a large splash sending water flying in every which direction around her, creating a small rainbow for Brandon too see if he was watching (and he probably was). Vixi had never gone swimming before though she had sat in the fountain they had in park, but the fresh natural water felt so much better than that of the cities.

Brandon was a bit saddened that Vixi brushed his arm off of her, but surprised when her tail brushed his face. It made his cheeks go a bit red as he saw her skip over to the creek and take a dip. "She does have the right idea Brandon, It is a bit hot out." Verlith had said, as Brandon got up to his feet, walked over to the creek, and sat on a nearby rock, letting his feet dip into the cool refreshing waters.
He watched Vixi, and saw the small rainbows made by the water droplets and the light, causing him to chuckle softly. "You do care for this girl I see. And not in a romantic kinda of way... Which is odd, considering how you act towards most women... Your acting more like shes..." He added, As Brandon mumbled to himself "...a little sister...." he said, still smiling at Vixi.
A cool wind would start to blow from the south, bringing with it refreshing coolness...and a new scent to Vixi's nose. Something large, and reptilian was headed in their direction....

Wadding through the creek Vixi trudged her legs through the shallow water as it ran up to about her mid thigh before it stopped it ascent. The cooling water had just been what the doctor ordered along with the shade that the trees provided it had more than take away from the heat of day, now only if she could have some more food would it have been prefect, but she took what she could get at this point. Finding a nice spot on the adjacent side of the creek bank she plopped her rump down on the sandy bank, as a small chill ran down her back from the cold sandy particles that embedded into her smooth legs.
Now facing back to the where the fire was at she noticed that Brandon had decided to join her as his legs were already resting deep into the clear stream, he looked to be enjoying himself as the edges of the shadows cut off at the top of his head. For whatever reason he appeared to be smiling towards her but she had no idea why, she found that people would often give her a similar look. Vixi often related a smile with happiness or from laughter but she hadn't done anything funny, what could be causing such a thing? The idea floated around in her head for a few seconds before she pushed it away, whatever the reason she was sure he would tell her if it was important enough, however for the time being she was going to relax. With the mixture of food in her stomach, the nice shade and coolness of the the river was more than enough to make her sleepy; it looked like the sun had drained more of her strength than she first thought.
Leaning back on the soft sand Vixi placed her hands behind her head as she looked up as the shaking leaves up in the trees, all the while her feet moved slowly back and forth in the waters edge creating little ripples with every movement. The soft shadows of the leaves above danced across the ground with every breeze that rubbed against the thick over growth, making the streams of light pass slowly over her body. It was nice... for the time being she could just enjoy the refreshing water and relax for once with having to worry about anything...her father was still out there but if she ran herself ragged she would never be able to find him...just a few minutes...should be more than...enough.... The gentle scene was more than enough to set the girl off into a light sleep as she laid their peacefully with her eyes closed, her quietly snores echoed off the reflective water.
It couldn't have been more than a few minutes tops when Vixi's ears began to flickering on top of her head, even in her sleeping state it appeared as though her body was still aware of what was going on around her. The noises prodded at her mind to wake her up from her slumber but all she wanted to do was sleep, she was tired and full, why did she have to get up? The noises kept prodded at her mind but it was not the sound that finally pulled her from her deep sleep, no...it was a new found scent that stood out from the rest of the woods. It was difficult to tell just exactly what she was smelling as it seemed as it was a mixture of different scents, though she was certain that whatever it was she had never come across such a thing before, and it was heading towards their direction.
Eyes snapping open from her sleep Vixi shot up to glance around the area, trying to pin point exaclty where the sounds were coming from. With ears like a radar dish Vixi rotated her head back and forth across the clearing as she did her best to find the source of the sound, but it was difficult to tell in such an environment as the woods. Where in the city it was a straight shot going every where, as cities were built to be mostly in a grid pattern while as the woods was large amounts of randomly placed trees and few open pockets of nothing, making the sound waves bounce off everything. Vixi was sure if she had spent more time in the woods she would have much better at finding sounds in the forest but all she had was general direction to the right of her.

Brandon smile still, as he watched Vixi start to relax, and doze off. "Shes so peaceful..." He said, before Verlith chimed in. "Brandon, I sense something...It feels like another dragon..." He said, causing Brandon to get to his feet, looking around.
He saw that Vixi had stirred, and was also on alert, and looking around. Then there was a crashing sound as a nearby, healthy tree was pushed over. "Here it comes!" Brandon heard him say, as a large green brown dragon suddenly bulldozed through the bushes. It would stop for a moment, seeing as there was two targets, rather then the one. As it saw that Vixi was closer, and a less posing threat, the Dragon quickly moved towards Vixi, before attempting to swing its claw at her to either kill her, or disable her enough for it to eat her.
Without time to react properly, Brandon yelled "Watch out!" as he hoped that Vixi would do her best to avoid the creatures attack.

The large creature brust forth from the green thicket snapping trees and vines as it broke through to greet them but it wasn't exactly what she had imagined it too be in her head, it was much bigger and had scales that ran all the way down its body, though she could not clearly see its hind half she could make out the sounds of a tail smacking trees a ways behind it. Long bone like structures extruded from the top of the creatures head curving back towards the rest of its body, coming to a stop at a blunted dull point after a few feet.. Each of its massive legs rested upon the forest ground supported by a massive foot with five black claws digging deep into the soft earth with the weight of the creature backing it. All in all it was not what she had been expecting to see, it reminded her of the tiny lizards she saw at the park, only much bigger not to mention it looked rather anger for some unknown reason; maybe it was the mother of all lizards!
Turning its head to face toward Vixi she could get a clear view of its black eyes, almost as if they were devoid of any life. Standing up from the edge of the bank the clusters of sand that hung to her legs began to fall off, making small splashes in the water below her. Vixi was unsure of what to do next, it creature had a rather menacing look too it. She was sure that no other creatures would never mess with such a beast, maybe it just wanted to play? A big lonely creature such as it probably just wanted to have friends to play with, it must have been difficult to get anyone close enough when it was so scary looking as it was. Reaching out Vixi started to wade through the water towards the creature as she wanted to give it a hug, its probably all that it wanted.
Calling out for her to watch out Vixi turned her head towards Brandon in question of what he was talking about, there was no danger here that she could see. Suddenly she felt a thump on the side of her body as she was lifted off her feet in a explosion of water, with the force of the dragons hand behind her she was tossed across the open field and rolled across the ground, kicking up dirt and grass as she went. Coming to a stop Vixi lay there on the grass not moving, her still frame would have blended in with the rest of the stillness of the forest,

Brandon watched as the Dragon made his charge at Vixi. Time seemed to slow down, as he watched as the dragon's claw collided with Vixi, sending her flying into the small field nearby. "HEY! HEY! PLEASE GET UP!" He cried, praying that the dragon did not just kill her just then, right infront of his eyes.
But when she didnt move, and was as still as the forest, tears started to roll down his cheek from his eyes. "You...piece of shit....Reptile! She was my friend!" He yelled at the dragon, who had turned its attention to Brandon, who was far past infuriated. His right eye twitched in anger, as his bracelet shinned bright, and transformed into his gauntlet causing his power level to sky rocket. "Brandon, What is..." Verlith started to say, but Brandon shut him out as the Dragon charged at him, swinging his claw.
Brandon merely jumped up over the claw using his 'Projection' Technique. He glared down at the reptile as it spread out its wings, and took flight after Brandon. "You hurt my friend... Ill make you pay!" He said, as the dragon roared at him as it flew up to him.
Brandon moved his hands to his side and started to focus his chaos energy. "Kaaaameeeee......" He started to say, as a ball of energy built up into his hands. "Haaa.....Meeee...." As the ball grew larger, and arcs of electricity started to be visible around the sphere, as he suddenly thrust his hands forward "HAAAAAAAAAAA!" he yelled, as the ball burst into a large beam of energy that few at the Dragon.
With no time to dodge, or to block, the beam hit the Dragon dead on its head directly. It tried its beast to withstand the power, but Brandon yelled 'Boost! Boost! Boost!" as Brandons power increased by 30 percent, causing the beam to grow stronger as it ripped into the dragons flesh. Burning through its organs and flesh, the beam finally came out of the dragons back, effectively carving out over half of its body.
Brandon stopped the beam, as the dragon fell down to the ground, dead...and half of its body missing. His gauntlet became a bracelet again, as Brandon fell back down to the earth, and landed on the field near Vixi. "Gah...That hurt... " He said, as he twisted his ankle on landing, causing him to fall to the ground. "Wow Brandon.... Never seen you lose it like that..." Verlith said, as Brandon looked over to the motionless vixi, and crawled over to her, as he would then gently nudge her shoulder.
"Oh god...Please dont be dead....Please dont be dead..." He said, as he looked towards the fallen dragon which had started to turn to bone. Streams of energy moved from its body to Brandon, as he absorbed its soul. Whatelse Brandon found ,was that his Kamehameha had left a very large crater from where the beam impacted...

The world swirled around her as Vixi tumbled across the ground, ripping up chucks of grass and earth as she did so. The force of the impact had been more than enough to caused her vision to blur as she finally came to a stop in the center of the field as green stains and bits of dirt were rubbed across her body, but it wasn't as though she wasn't already covered in dirt to began with. Laying on her side Vixi tried her best to recover from the hit however the sudden shock from such an attack had left her in a dazed state as all she could do was lay there as Brandon yelled out at her. The over whelming sadness in his voice rang out over the clearing as he was obviously very concerned about her well-being, though it didn't look like it the girl was actually fine, the strike hadn't even caused so much as a scratch even as deadly as it might have looked to him.
The caring sound in his voice soon faded as he turned his attention towards the creature, whereas before she could hear the tears in his voice now all that was left was pure hatred and rage, nothing like the person she had soon off to him before. The sudden change in his person scared Vixi, she had met something similar before and it did not end well...from what she could remember of it at least. Lance had been such a nice person...but...he had turned out not to be as she thought he was, she was still unsure of what he was going to do with her, but lucky she had gotten away before Lance had gotten the chance.
Pressing her hand against the ground Vixi dug in with her nails as she struggled to sit up, the daze that had taken over her head was slowly wearing off but she needed to see what was going on. Squinting her eyes in through the discomfort Vixi managed to push herself up right onto her elbow to finally see what was going on. Wide eyed she watched Brandon as he yelled at the top of his lungs all the while firing a blast of pure energy into the creatures skull, already she could see the fear and pain that was built up inside the creatures eyes. How could Brandon do such a thing to the creature?
Yelling out louder than before Vixi had to cover her ears at the mixed sounds of the creatures wails, and the earth being ripped open by Brandon's bright attack. Closing her eyes as not to see any more Vixi could feel the ground shake as his attack torn into the ground sending chucks of rock and dirt scattering across the open forest floor. As his attack began depleting in its run it began to shrink and then completely disappear as the giant of a beast crashed into the ground below, shaking with the sudden sound Vixi spread her fingers to look at what had just happened.
Tears welled up in her eyes as she as witnessed what was left of the creature sprawled out across the ground, blood spilled out from the open crater that was left of its upper body. This was the first time Vixi had ever witness someone die... she didn't know of the word death but show how she knew that the creature was no longer living...why...why did he have to kill it?
Gazing over the dead creature she barely noticed that Brandon had walked over to her until that was he touched her shoulder causing her to whelp out in fear, rolling forward in a ball she gain a few feet away from the man; pivoting on her foot she turned around to face the man. Already the streams of tears were running down her face, falling from her cheeks they would crash into the grass blades below. She couldn't believe what she had seen, the creature hadn't caused her any harm, there wasn't even a mark on her other than the stains on her clothes, why did he have to do that? She hated violence of any form, verbal or physical, why did people have to hurt each other?

Brandon watched, as Vixi recovered from her little tumble, and saw that no harm had come to her. "Im so glad you alright..." He said wit ha smile ,but saw the sadness in Vixi's eyes as she looked back and forth between the pile of Dragon bones, and Brandon.
She was scared of him, and he knew that she was in the right to be so. He had lost his temper, and had gone berserk on the dragon, as he thought it killed Vixi. "Hey...Its ok.... That was a Dragon... They are trying to kill me so they can get this..." He said, as he showed her his shiny bracelet. "Theres many more mean and more dangerous dragons out there...I have to keep them away, or else many more people will get hurt... " He said, trying to sound as calm and as kind as he could.
He looked to the creek as he saw it flowing into the crater to start making a new lake. He then looked back to Vixi as he sighed "Im sorry, But I had no choice... It was either us, or it. " He added.
"Please, dont be afraid...I was just... afraid that you were hurt...or worse..."

Already a few feet away from Brandon it made it even harder too see him through the tears that swelled up in her eyes, though not sobbing yet her chest rose and fell heavily as she breath came in raspy. She couldn't believe that such a nice person as Brandon had been turned into...into a killer...though it wasn't the first time someone had used a disguise to fool her, was she really just that foolish or was the world filled un-trust worthy people? It didn't matter too much at the moment anyway, the last time some one had tricked her it didn't turn out well for her, winding her up on a cool steel table and then...nothing until she woke up floating down the river. Vixi remembered none of the incident between the too points, for some reason or another she had escape from a lab once again, luckily for her she would never remember what happened on that day.
Now closer to the slain beast than that of Brandon, Vixi side stepped towards the beast too get a closer look at it. Just as the creature had fallen towards the ground its layer of flesh and muscle had begun to vanish leaving behind a worn skeleton of the beast, no organs, no heart beat, no soul. Turning her attention too the blended bones Vixi placed her hand on the hardened structure feeling what was left of the creature as she was trying her best to grasp the concept in front of her. How had such a large creature such as this just lose all of its skin, and organs? Luckily it was Brandon that helped to fill the gaps but the answers didn't help to make her feel any better about the events she had just witnessed.
Vixi shook her head at that mans words, there was always another way, no one should ever have to die or fight each other, why did there have to be pain and suffering in the world? He didn't have to fight it, let alone kill it, they could have always run away, or even made friends with the creature, but he didn't even give it along enough for them interact with each other. Sure the first hit had knocked her around some but maybe the creature was afraid of seeing two unknown creatures in its home, Vixi knew fear all too well having been born at deaths door step, it seemed like everyday someone or something was coming at her for an unknown reason but she ever fought back. Running was her choice, if she could not make them understand her for what she was then she would feel if they tried to get to close or scared her.
Stepping back away from Brandon and the skeleton Vixi turned tail on all four of her limbs and scampered off back into the shady woods, she had no idea where the city was or even which direction she was going but she had to get away. She was afraid of the man to say the least, even if the attempt had been to save her he didn't have to kill the creature in a fit of rage. Vixi knew she should have just stayed in the bushes, this was turning out to be just like the time with Rosen...at least this time she didn't snap.

Brandon saw how the fox girl infront of her was more then upset. Tears falling from her eyes made tears fall from his as well. He had a fairly good idea on why she was so sad, but he knew he had no choice in the matter. The dragons were out to kill him, and if they succeeded, they would be a huge leap closer to unleashing hell upon the galaxy.
Somehow, He would have to show, and prove to the girl that what he was doing was the right course of action to take, but before he could, Vixi immidiately turned tail, and ran on all fours into the woods. "H-Hey! Wait!" He said, as he attempted to follow her into the woods, but lost sight of her part ways in. He was no tracker, and didnt have heightened senses like her.
"Please! Come back! I can explain everything!" He said, hoping to change her mind.
"Damn it...the one time I make such a cute friend...I scare her off...."He said, as he sat down where he was, as more tears fell from his eyes. "Why the hell was I even brought to this time? Am I not allow my own happiness once in a while?"

Feeling into the woods Vixi ran as quickly as she could through the thick bushes and past the rough barked trees, all the while leaving behind droplets of tears in her wake. Fear and sadness fueled her as she ran on all fours her nails digging deep into the earth giving her a better grip as panic guided her away from the man, the thought of the poor creature being slaughter in front of her. The whole scene replayed over and over in her head as if she was still sitting there watching it as it happened and did nothing to stop it, why had she not jumped in and saved the creature? The constant replay did nothing to help alleviate the pain she felt in her chest; picture perfect memory was something she wished she didn't have just for times like these, it was one thing to have witnessed such a brutal attack but having it shoved in her face every moment after was terrifying her.
Vision blurry she did her best to traverse the woods not even caring when her clothes would get snagged on a branch, she would just continue running forward not caring to slow down any. It didn't sound like the man was following her but she could over here his voice calling out to her as she ran away from him, not even looking back to where he had been. It seemed like everyone had another side too them that they held away from the rest of the world, only coming out when the longing was too great for the body to contain.
After running quite a ways the girl began to slow down in her pace as she stood up up onto her legs and looked around the area trying to capture some type of familiarity around her. Everything in the forest looked the same though, same looking trees, bushes even the occasional rocks in every direction they all seemed to look alike. Drooping her ears as she looked around it appeared that she was even more lost than the first time, having no idea of where the city was at or even a road for that matter. Even with her great night vision she was really hoping that she would not be stuck out here when the sun fell, its not that she was afraid of the dark but this was unknown territory to her.
Not sure of where else too go Vixi thought it best to see if she could get a better view of the area from atop on one of the trees, at least then see would be off the forest floor were the creatures that lived here roam, she had heard of the wolves and other beasts that resided inside the woods and wasn't really looking forward too meeting one of them. With her sharper than normal nails Vixi was able to easily climb her way up the base of the closets tree as she scraped the bark along the way up too the higher branches. Coming to a rest on the highest branch she could find it still seemed that there at least another good six feet of branches above her. Her plan had been a good one but proved that with her limited skills that it was useless. Placing her back against the side of the tree Vixi slid down till she landed on the large branch causing it to sway under her weight. It seemed like she might never get back home, she just hoped Jenn wasn't too worry about her, if she ever did manage to get back she would give her hell for leaving without tell her, especially with how much her skirt had been torn.

Brandon looked around him for any signs of the fox girl ,and where she ahd run off to, but couldnt see anything. It was starting to get dark out, and he had to get back to town soon. But as he couldnt figure out where in the forest he was, he to was lost as the sun slowly started to make its way down.
His mind was stuck on the fox girls wellbeing, as he got up to his feet. "She was starving, so she was obviously lost... Shes probably lost out there right now... Gotta find her!" He said, as he started to walk down the path that had some recently broken sticks, not knowing that soon he would be walking right underneath her. "Hey Fox Girl! Please come back! Im not going to hurt you! Its dangerous in the woods at night!" He yelled after cupping his hands together.
He was starting to worry about her, hoping that nothing had hurt her in her running. "She wont come to you Brandon, Shes scared of you now." He heard Verlith say, but Brandon replied "Theres alot more scarey stuff out there thats worse then me... We have to find her, so we can get back to our campsite... She probably could do with a good sleep, and a good breakfast in the morning."
"But your out of food arent you?"
"NAh, that was just dinner. I got more sandwiches in the bag for the morning, with some jam to go on some toast..." He said, looking all around him for signs of the foxgirl....

Huffing an puffing Vixi lay with her legs brought up to her body as she wrapped her arms around them, whenever she felt scared or nervous she found it helped to calm down, either that or she would cling to her tail almost as it was a stuffed animal for a child. Even though the girl appeared to be in late teens her mind was still developing, at this point it was around the level of a child not much older than that of ten, such a site for a girl her apparent age would seem strange but for Vixi it was the norm. Her head was filled with a series of thoughts as they bounced around inside of her, where was she, how would she get home, hunger, sleep, and the ever burning imagines of the creature being killed over and over in her mind. Shutting her eyes closed she did her best to fight off the images as they danced in front of her eyes, it was a difficult process but if she tired hard enough she could block the visions out, at least for the time being.
Straining on the memory Vixi focused souly on ridding it from herself, with the ordeal she was in it would at least be some what helpful to take away one of the issues, she would be able to survive in the woods for the night but having to constantly watch that creatures death over and over again would have made it impossible for her to do much. Like using an eraser the memories began to fade away with thick smears appearing in it, once the process had gotten started it was like a domino effect as the rest of the memory caved in on its self. Beads of sweat rolled down her skin as her little body shook with exhaustion, such a process was possible but it took a lot of energy and focus from her.
Slowly opening her eyes she glanced around at the dense over growth as the light seemed to be sucked away from the forest, it was growing darker and before long it would be pitched black, luckily darkness didn't phase her much. Still thought the woods was no place for a girl with little survival skills to be at during night, if not for the dangerous creatures then for no protection or warmth. Spreading her legs to fit down the length of the branch Vixi looked sadly down at her clothes, they weren't in the best condition to say the least, tears and rips lined the length of the material as even a few twigs still clung onto her. Doing her best with her still shaking hands Vixi began to work methodically on removing the nuisances from herself, trying to make the terrible situation a tad better.
Being so focused on her working she didn't even sense the man walking through the thick brush in her direction, his loud words calling out to her made her jump in terror. How had she not noticed him coming all the way out here? Panic set in once again at the sight of him, he had followed her all the way out here, could he not tell she was afraid of him now? Whether or not Brandon had now seen her she needed to get away and it appeared that there was really only one way she was going to be able to move fast enough to out pace him. Taking a deep breath the girl would began to glow white as it appeared as though her skin would become transparent, already too those that could sense it her power level would spike considerably. With her jump in power the girl would take off from the branch and launch herself deeper into the woods away from Brandon, it was unfortunate for the man his action meant well but the girls brain development could only handle so much at its given level and with the mixture of her aniamal DNA made her already skittish to began with.
