It had been a while since the end of the tournament of champions, and he had been the winner over the Icejin known as Frigid, the two becoming friends as a result. Plus the drinking party afterward didn't hurt there, however, now Conri wanted to have a bit of a rematch with his friend to see how much they had both grown in that time. Plus he figured it couldn't hurt to turn it into a training session for the two and so he had sent an invite to his friend, asking him to come to the ship. While he waited for that, Conri had moved towards the controls for the gravity machine, and set them to fives times the normal amount, letting the familiar feel wash over him as his body was now accustomed to the pull even more. The heavy weights he worse helping to keep his body from getting too soft from the lowered gravity, he figured it would be extra beneficial so that they could really fight it out, even better than in the tournament. He'd learned a lot of things since that time and was more than happy to have matches with others to continue his growth, the title of Galactic Champion didn't hold a lot of meaning to him.
He was well aware that the tides of power could easily change and he would no longer be the strongest or best there was, hell he was sure that things had already greatly changed since that point. It was another reason he was here, to see how strong his friend had gotten and to see if they could push each other to even high heights of power. He felt that there was something even more to his power than what he could see, and he wanted to see what was hidden behind the walls that his body had constructed. Was there an even greater source of power that he was unaware of? There was one person he wanted to fight against, to see if he could force the walls to crumble and he was waiting for that one person to show up right now.
The one time that he grew the most was when he battled against Frigid, having to utilize his strongest form as well as using all of his techniques at the time. Now he was strong and had access to many more abilities, he figured Frigid was stronger as well, and this would be the ultimate way to test himself. Sitting down beside the gravity machine, he crossed his legs and waited patiently for his opponent to arrive in the room where they were to spar.

Frigid had been awake for a while when he received his invitation. Still staying in the room Zex had given him for the tournament, a comfortable suite, fit for the second strongest man in the galaxy, it was buzzed over a screen in the training area. Interrupting a nice workout, Frigid training with his new weighed clothing, readying himself for what was to come, a loud beep came over the intercom.
Beep~ “Mr. Frigid?”
”What do you want?” On edge, in the middle of one-thousand push-ups, tone grumpy. Glancing up to the screen, it was a man dressed in butler clothing, Frigid had learned his name was Higgins.
Higgins' face taken-aback, surprised at such a tone; catching this, Frigid laughed lightly, trying to lighten up the mood and correct his snappiness, ”Sorry, Higgins. In the middle of training. Please, make it quick...” Having trouble keeping count of each push-up in his head; Was it 754, or 745?
Higgins obviously more comfortable, accepting the apology, ”Um, yes sir. Mr. Conri Lane has contacted us. He asks for you to meet him at his ship, sir...”
At the mention of his name, Frigid stopped counting completely, eyes widening, mouth forming into a grin, ”Conri wants to see me, does he? How interesting. Did he say what this was about?” Standing, Frigid walked to the fridge, opened it and grabbed out a bottle of water. Twisting the cap off, he would pull up a chair, returning to the monitor, and take a large gulp.
”He said it was in regards to a training session?” quizzical, Higgins was no fighter. A man built large, fat, tall; perhaps never stepping foot into even a gym his whole life.
Frigid spit his water from his mouth with disbelief. ”A training session!? With Conri Lane?!” mouth agape with excitement and surprise, drool forming at the corner of his mouth. The fight with Conri in the tournament had been the greatest in Frigid's life. He hadn't ever known such power existed in the universe, let alone how much power he possessed by himself. Flashing back on the bout, remembering each punch, each dodge, the transformations...
”Shall I tell him you can't make it?” Higgins, clueless to what Frigid was thinking.
”Hell no, Higgins! Tell him I will be there! Is his ship at the docks?
Higgins nodded, surprised at such a reaction, face plainly stating: 'is this guy for real?'.
Frigid jumped to his feet, tossing his half-full water bottle to the floor. Turning, he headed towards the window, and stopped when he noticed Higgins hadn't signed off yet. Glancing over his shoulder, he smiled kindly at the obese butler, ”Thank you Higgins. Have the receptionist write you a check in my name for a kindly tip. 500Z, perhaps?”
Higgins grinned greedily, overjoyed by the notion of 500 zeni in his pocket; the hefty tips the whole reason he chose to service Frigid's room, ”My family and I thank you for your gratitude, Mr. Frigid.” And with that, the sound of him hanging up echoed through the room.
Frigid openly smiled, shaking his head as he returned his gaze to the window. Thoughts racing about what was in store, but not wanting to seem to eager. Perhaps make Conri wait an hour; but Frigid himself couldn't wait such a length of time. Maybe twenty minutes...
Jumping out the window, Frigid landed hard on the ground below, his weights almost forgotten about until then. Scratching at the back of his head, Frigid grinned inwards, pretending everything was normal as many bystanders watched him suspiciously; noting he was the very same Icejin who'd almost claimed the crown of Galactic Champion.
Then, as if he had all the time in the world, he would causally stroll towards the docks, giving himself twenty minutes to relax his muscles, and ready for whatever it was Conri had in store for him. Trying to prepare himself mentally so that he would not make a complete fool of himself as he had when the two drank together.
---
Arriving at his ship; it took a few minutes to locate Conri's, each looking much like the next, Frigid only ending up taking a wild stab at it by the word 'Champion' on the side of it. But as he knocked on the door, which opened for him, he would note the very familiar blue-haired Saiyan sitting on the floor in meditation.
Stepping foot inside the ship, he also noted a quite hum, like the sound of a machine. The air somehow different. Emerging himself inside, the door would close behind him, welcoming him into something completely new; completely different.
Lifting his left foot to take a step, Frigid had trouble. More trouble than when he first put on his weights. There was an odd sensation around him, as if there was some kind of invisible force pushing down on every inch of his body. Struggling to walk over to Conri, Frigid would grunt, ”The hell... is this?” Finally resorting to lifting his feet with his hands, to make the final steps. He was new to five times gravity, and visibly uncomfortable with it.
Looking to Conri for guidance, he noted how at peace the Saiyan seemed. How normal he looked in here. It was obvious that Frigid's training session had already began; and that Conri Lane was about to school him.

It had been a while since he had seen the Icejin as well, the last time being when they had all gone to the same bar by chance, and shared some drinks with Ninjin and the woman known as Azazel. That had been an amusing night as well watching a group of people that had only really interacted from the tournament come together as friends. Especially given that Ninjin and Conri hadn't started on the best of terms with their battle, what with the Half-Saiyan taunting the prince and the Saiyan prince having acted arrogantly which led them into a rather violent exchange of attacks in the middle of the arena. A small smirk played at the corner of his lips as he remembered that while waiting for Frigid to show up, which brought his memories to their battle. It was probably one of the most unorthodox battles he could remember ever being in, but it was definitely one that showed his full tenacity and determination. Of course, he had only won the tournament due to more judges voting in his favor, it had been a close battle until that point with each one having an edge in power over the other at different points. Still, it had been a fight that had taught him so much as well, so he would need to have another plus he wanted to help Frigid himself become even stronger than ever.
Eyes opening as his sparring partner showed up on his ship, suddenly finding it much harder to move around, it was his first exposure to increased gravity he assumed. "I have installed a gravity chamber into the ship, right now you're standing in a field generated to be five times the normal amount of gravity. Take your time to get used to it," he told his friend, using the time himself to meditate a bit and try to collect his thoughts before they would need to start this training session. They had plenty of time to use to make themselves stronger, it would be best to not let it go to waste, and take as much time for them both to surpass their former selves. It was only fitting that they be the ones to push each other passed their limits as well, since they had managed to do so with the final round of the galactic tournament. They were likely both at the top of their game right now, so it would only serve to make them both even stronger than they were right now, plus maybe Conri could come up with some techniques will sparring his friend.
"Let me know when you're adjusted and ready to begin, I want us both to gain from this and if I bested you because you aren't used to the gravity would seem too cheap plus it likely wouldn't accomplish the goal here," he wasn't just looking to fight his friend in a rematch. This was more about them striving to truly become the strongest beings around, if they wanted to retain their place as the two strongest around then they were going to have to work a lot harder than they had been. Which meant that the two of them would have to work with each other for the best effect as well, plus it would make it that much more interesting whenever the next tournament took place. If they both made it to the final round again, they could settle the match their own way and see how came out on top, which led to the original problem of making sure they stayed at the top of their game.
A smirk formed, he was looking forward to this, it didn't matter where their power levels were for this, they could always adjust it so that they could fight evenly. It was the way they fought and the tactics that each of them used that would help each other grow further as warriors. (sorry it took so long, wanted to make sure it was actually a good reply to your post)

"I have installed a gravity chamber into the ship, right now you're standing in a field generated to be five times the normal amount of gravity. Take your time to get used to it.
"Let me know when you're adjusted and ready to begin, I want us both to gain from this and if I bested you because you aren't used to the gravity would seem too cheap plus it likely wouldn't accomplish the goal here."
"The goal here?"Frigid asked, tail wagging slowly behind him as he thought that over for a second, "What exactly might that be?"
Turning in a small circle, Frigid looked around the ship, trying to get a feel for this new battleground. It was tall enough that if he needed, Frigid would be able to transform, but not tall enough for Conri's Oozaru. This was a good thing, as a fight like that would likely tear the whole ship apart; something Frigid would like to do his best to avoid.
That being said, Frigid knew Conri was just as capable as he when if came to his output of power. The tournament had repeated showed that. Each pushed the other over and beyond what they fought possible, until there was nothing left to give. It was truly a perfect bout.
Now, a sparring match between them would be much more complicated. Both knew each others strengths and weaknesses. Each knew the others techniques and transformation. And with such powers behind them, each would make it a bout as hard as fighting one's self.
Letting out a light sigh, Frigid would drop to the floor for a set of push-ups. One hundred would be enough to get his arms ready for combat. Once through he would do a few lunges, and begin some aerobatic exercises. Cartwheels, front and back flips, and a few hand springs. After struggling with a few sloppy ones in the beginning, Conri might notice his movements getting more and more fluid with each exercise. The gravity was heavy, and there was no doubt of strain on him, but by the end of his warm up, Frigid seemed much better off than when he first stepped foot in the ship.
Placing a hand on a wall of the ship, he would let out a deep breath, a cocky grin on his face, "This is something else, Conri. I'm gonna have to get one for myself." Letting out a small chuckle, Frigid inwardly wondered how far one could increase the gravity in such a chamber; and exactly how far Conri had trained under such circumstances. Having caught his breath, Frigid took a step away from the wall. His warm up had taken longer than he'd hoped, but he was now ready to begin. Having not used Ki might be a mistake he'd regret, but not wanting to exhaust himself before the fight started, it was a risk he was willing to take. However, unlike their first match, the risk here was far smaller, nothing on the line, neither willing the other to death. No; this fight would be no less intense than the tournament match, but it would be much different. A fight against friends, each looking to push the other as far as he could; each being pushed past boundaries they never knew they had, "I'm ready." Dropping into his stance, Frigid readied himself for exactly that.

Frigid asked the question he suspected he would, but it was difficult for Conri to put into words, the stronger he became the more strongly he felt it. It wasn't impossible to put into words, but the Half-Saiyan wasn't good with them at all, it was hard to describe how it felt exactly so the best he could do was give a vague description of how it felt. He hoped it would be enough for his friend, because he wouldn't really know where to expand on the idea from there. "The general goal here is that I can feel a well of untapped power inside of me, but I can't seem to access it. I don't know how much it will be, but I want to get access to it. Otherwise my plans will be pointless because I won't be strong enough to carry them out. So I need you to help me pull this power out."
He hoped that would be a good enough explanation, he was just bad at explaining things in general and tried to avoid it when he could, but he had asked Frigid to come here. It was only right that he answer the Icejin truthfully about what he was trying to accomplish here, and that was all there was to it. Whether Frigid felt it was misleading or if he disliked the reasoning for it then Conri would apologize, but he needed to get more powerful quickly so that he could protect people. He wanted to create an organization for lasting peace, he knew it was a naive dream and would be nearly impossible to work but he would not give up on it so easily. If there was anyone that had the motivation to see this through it was him, he had had everything taken from him so he knew what it felt like, and he would spread that throughout the universe. No matter what it took or how long, he would see it through with everything that he had. Sure the universe was vast, but if he could get enough people to follow his cause then it wouldn't be bad at all, he could have people he trusted leading different outposts.
Shaking his head, his thoughts went a bit too far ahead, the first thing was that he himself had to become a force to be reckoned with and while being the champion was a good start it was not enough. If he considered it so, he would just let himself enter a slump of not training and there was no way he could repeat past mistakes. So, with Frigid his opponent, this training was designed to help him reach a new plateau of power and start him on the right path. Right now he was the only one that had pushed him to the very brink of his power and the only one to have made him transform during battle to this date. If anyone could help push him over this hurdle, it was his friend and one of the most powerful people he had ever met.
When Frigid said he was ready, the Half-Saiyan nodded and lowered into his own stance before launching himself at the Icejin and throwing a flurry of jabs towards his face and body to start their spar off. (Sorry it took so long again, keeping up with your posts is hard lol)

"The general goal here is that I can feel a well of untapped power inside of me, but I can't seem to access it. I don't know how much it will be, but I want to get access to it. Otherwise my plans will be pointless because I won't be strong enough to carry them out. So I need you to help me pull this power out."
Frigid thought about this for a second, his tail gently stroking the beard-like horn on his chin. The idea was not something knew to him; he'd felt the wall Conri was speaking of during their fight in the tournament. Even with all his power gone, it was as if there was so much more, just hanging deep within him, right out if his reach. If he could push through that wall, there was no telling just how powerful he would end up. But unlike Conri, Frigid didn't embrace such a thought; no, he feared such a power.
In his Brute form, Frigid often found himself fighting for control. There was something that the Icejin could feel deep down in such a state; it was a menacing, dark power, one he felt could consume him if he unleashed it. For now, Frigid could control his Brute transformation, but there would be a day, sometime in the not so distant future where he might lose that control, whether against his second stage, or further...
Shaking the thought from his head at the same time Conri would rid himself of his own doubts, Frigid's eyes would widen as his friend rushed him. Crossing his arms over his midsection, he would defend himself against the blunt of the attack. As the blue-haired Saiyan attacked, Frigid's tail would whip backwards quickly, then fluidly unleashed towards Corni's side. If the hit connected, it would surely push the man away.
Just as fluidly, Frigid would continue his spin, using the force put into his tail whip to rotate him, grabbing for Conri's wrist in the process. Twisting into a violent spin, he would hopefully pull the Saiyan off his feet, tossing him towards the opposite wall of the ship upon finishing three or four rotations.
Being warmed up from his own training prior helped, but Conri had the upper hand in both power, and speed. If Frigid wanted to stay on top in this friendly bout, he would have to transform. But even with his weights and the gravity pushing down on him, he felt that Conri would likely take it easy on him, giving him time to adjust before the real fight began.
"Are you afraid of that kind of power? Frigid asked, preparing a defensive stance to guard himself from the barrage sure to follow, "I mean, afraid of it corrupting you, or somehow taking over?" Frigid had never discussed such fears before, and voicing them made him feel silly. But as the questions left his mouth, he knew it was too late to take them back.
(Its all good. Take your time. I just hope it isn't my posts quality making it hard for you. Hahah)

Conri more than knew the risks that came with power like he was wanting to unleash, but he also understood that if he got out of hand that those he trusted the most would stop him. Plus, he wouldn't let himself be fully controlled by anything, not even power and if he felt the effects he would do something to make sure that he was secluded away from others. Even if he had to do something drastic to accomplish that, he would make sure that he didn't hurt anyone that didn't deserve to be hurt. It wasn't to say that he wasn't afraid of it, but if he let that fear stop him then what was the point in him even trying in the first place to do anything? He couldn't let himself be held back by fear, instead he would use it to help control himself more if anything did happen. It was impossible to predict what would happen though, so worrying in advance did nothing to help him achieve his goals.
When he neared Frigid, he was met with the sudden striking out of his tail, and sent off to the side by the powerful appendage. It was a shame that Saiyan tails didn't work like that, it would add a whole new level of what he could do. Unfortunately, Frigid didn't seem to want to let him get any breathing room even after that tail strike, but it wouldn't be that easy to catch him. Using his psychokinetic powers, he pushed himself down out of the way of Frigid's grasp, bending his knees fully as it came into contact with the ground and springing back up with a fist aimed towards the Icejin's stomach. His whole body acting as one giant spring and using the power of his muscles unfurling from being crunched up to the extent they had been. It would hopefully have enough power to do some decent damage, he wanted to make sure that his opponent knew he was fully going into this ready to push himself and his friend to their absolute limits. When Frigid asked his question Conri smirked and would answer, keeping his guard fully up while he spoke to his friend.
"Of course, but if I let that fear stop me, where would I get to with my goals? Plus, if I did lose control of myself, then I would trust those around me to stop me. That's why I can keep going forward without worrying too much," that was all there was to it for him. It wasn't something that he tended to dwell on too much, simply for the fact that he knew that something would stop him if the event should come where he lost control of himself. Plus, he himself would be working to make sure that he never let go of his own beliefs for any second, he felt his beliefs would be an important part of him retaining himself. (your quality is awesome, and this post sounded so much better in my head)

Frigid's tail whip connected hard with Conri's side, slightly pushing him away from Frigid, but as the Icejin tried to continue through with his spin, and grab Conri's wrist, the sly Saiyan avoided him. Ducking under his arm completely, Frigid's eyes opened wide. His friend was much quicker than he had expected.
Crouching down like a coil spring, Conri quickly countered, his fist raising with an uppercut aimed at the Icejin's gut. It connected hard, knocking the wind out of Frigid, who let out a roar of pain. Pushing the Icejin into the air, Frigid landed on his back a few feet behind where he'd been standing, breath staggering as he tried to compose himself.
After a few second, Frigid slowly rose to his feet, still bogged down by the extra gravity. Taking a few deep breaths, his power level would begin to increase. To stay on par with Conri, Frigid would have no choice but to transform. His arms curled to his sides, his legs lifting to his chest, all while staying stationary in the air. A orb of gold quickly formed around his body, from which inside, Frigid began his transformation.
Emerging in a harmless explosion, Frigid emerged in a form all too familiar to Conri, his brute state. As it stood, Frigid wouldn't have to fear the power he'd asked his comrade about. There would hopefully be no reason such a power would be needed; unlike in their prior tournament fight, the two knew one another now. They were friends.
"Maybe you're right," Frigid said with a pause, unconvinced. Then, with a light chuckle, and a smirk, he crouched down low, and using his new speed, rushed towards Conri, fist drawn back, readying a barrage of punches and knees aimed at the Saiyan's torso.
Though the thought of a sinister power was still in the back of the Icejin's head, he did his best to block it out, and focus on the fight; and staying in control of himself. In times like this, Frigid had very little trouble keeping himself in check; the fight was friendly, he truly wished no harm against Conri, and he knee the same was for his opponent. But in times were he was enraged, Frigid not only had to fight physically, he had to fight mentally as well.
However, the goal here was to help his friend grow stronger, and the only way he could do that would be to push himself to his own limit. Transforming was the first step in that process. What happened next was completely up to how the fight continued moving. Regardless of power level, Conri bared the advantage of experience in a gravity chamber. The only way for Frigid to compensate for the physical drain would be to actually do some damage to his opponent.
(Don't worry about it. That's always the case for my posts. Hahah)

His uppercut managed to land hard in the gut of his friend letting out a rather painful sound from the collision, but he knew that Frigid was armored to take hits like that. He learned that from the first Icejin that he fought against, who had been able to take some pretty powerful blows from him, and from the fact that in their tournament match Frigid had been able to go up against the strength of his Oozaru form. It was one of the reasons he wanted to spar with his friend because he was so durable and could unleash more of his power without too much worry. Plus he knew about the brute form that his friend had it was probably the only thing that could push him far enough for what he wanted to accomplish, and he would do the same in return for Frigid. Perhaps there was a way for him to help the Icejin, he wasn't sure how but if the way he spoke was an accurate assessment then it seemed his power was a source of fear, maybe there was something he could do for that?
He wouldn't get much time to contemplate the thought as Frigid returned to the fight now in his brute form and rushed the Half-Saiyan down with a flurry of punches and knee strikes to his torso. The first several strikes connected before sending Conri flying to the other side of the chamber, before he increased his own power to be able to match Frigid's power more easily. Though his friend did have the edge in raw power, it would at least even things out a bit better, and he could make better use of some of his techniques like this which would make the entire battle a bit more fun. Using his spider silk he creates makeshift slingshot to launch him back at his opponent using the built up momentum to launch him forward before at the last minute utilizing his aerokinesis to boost his speed as he unleashed a barrage of his own punches against Frigid. Clashing in a fierce duel of rapid exchanges that reverberated around the chamber as each hit unleashed sonic boom after sonic boom, their speed and power had reached a point where normal people would be left far behind in their wake. Even Marisa would have to heighten the power of the shields that contained their power lest their fight break through into the outside world.
As they continued to exchange blows Conri would back up for a fraction of a second to try luring Frigid to move forward, while at the same time spinning his body to deliver a kick that was aimed at his torso. If it connected it would hopefully succeed in knocking Frigid away so that Conri could setup his next attack and fire a Masenko at him, but that was only if the kick succeeded in its goal. (Sorry, forgot what the pls were so figured I'd just make them roughly even)

Frigid's barrage connected, knocking Conri back, but the half-saiyan wasn't out of the battle. Frigid's breath was heavy as he steadied himself, the powerful gravity making the brute weigh over sixteen-hundred pounds. The added weight made his bones creak, his muscles overworking themselves to keep up with the strain he was in. The Saiyan, however was much more accustomed to the added gravity, and showed little signs of strain on his body.
The Icejin knew he was in real trouble as Conri shot web-like strands to the walls, creating a slingshot to fire himself back at him. Anchoring himself to the ground with his powerful tail, Frigid was as ready as he could be when Conri reached him, returning with his own powerful barrage of attacks. The two exchanged hit-for-hit, parrying, and blocking with unbelievable speed. But the Brute was beginning to lag, and his body would not respond a quickly.
Conri pulled back from the brawl for a split second, building momentum with a spin, and delivering a powerful kick to Frigid's torso. The foot connected, and the Icejin was launched backwards towards the wall. Skidding across the floor, he attempted to stop himself, using his ability to fly to slow himself. Stopping just before connecting with the wall, Frigid caught site of Conri's Masenko attack barreling towards him.
The Icejin was pinned, and there was only a split second for him to react. Balling his fists, the Icejin let out an explosion of golden ki, which wrapped around him like a bubble, shielding him from the wave as it connected, just in time. The explosion from the blast was large, and as the dust settled, Frigid was surprised the chamber was still standing. They were made much hardier than he'd expected.
His shield would vanish, leaving him slouching, panting like a dog, arms limp to the sides. His eyes, however, would burn brightly with determination. Conri would surely see the fire in them. Frigid was not ready to give up. With a sudden smirk, washing quickly across his face, he would launch himself forward, a golden ball of ki growing in his hand. With a fierce howl, Frigid would launch the ball at his friend, who might be some-what familiar with the attack. But this Hell Grenade was different from the ones Frigid used in the tournament. This was a Drain Grenade, and it would begin to suck energy from its target if it connected.
(Works for me. Hope you're enjoying this as much as I am. Haha.)

Frigid had prepared for his assault by anchoring his tail, but it seemed the exertions under the intense gravity were building up for him, as he wasn't fast enough to stop the kick from connecting. The Masenko seemed like it hit, but the feeling he got wasn't right, there had been a surge of power from his friend and opponent just before the attack struck. With the dust in the way he couldn't fully see what was happening. Had the attack taken Frigid out of the fight or was this something else? The dust finally settled and while it seemed that the actions more drained his energy than caused a lot of harm. Which was good, he didn't want to fully hurt his friend with that, but simply push him more under the extreme conditions since this training was about getting Frigid to be as powerful as possible as well.
Then he threw an attack right back at the Half-Saiyan, it had been one he use during the tournament, his hell grenade if he remembered right. Crossing his arms in front of him he remembered the power behind the attack well, it was one that had left a distinct impression on the warrior. This time wasn't the same, however, as instead of detonating when it impacted it stuck to his arm and seemed to not move at all. Not even making a notion that it would explode at any moment, instead it just sat on his arm for the time that Conri in turn stared at it. Was he missing something with this ball of energy? It was then that the wave of weakness washed over him revealing that this was not just any normal attack, it was draining his energy away while attached to him. Without hesitation he formed a ki blast in his hand and blasted the orb off of him, regardless of the damage that it caused to his arm in the process.
The damage had been done already, however, as he began to breath heavier than before, the little ball had drained more energy than he had realized. Thanks to his own attack his arm was starting to feel a bit numb as well, he could still use it but the feeling was leaving it, he would have a tough time gauging what he did with it. The battle was going to be a bit tougher because of that, but it did add a new interesting challenge for him at least. Frigid wasn't the only one with a new spin on an old technique though as he gathered a large amount of lightning before him forming it into a sphere of electricity before releasing it towards the Icejin. As it moved the patter it took was not one that could be predicted with how erratic and spontaneous it moved, even Conri had no idea how it would move once he fired off the Ball Lightning at his opponent.
This battle was starting to get fun though, he hoped that Frigid would come up with a way to work around his technique, so that they could continue fighting against each other for at least a bit longer. He was slowly learning new tricks of his own as the fight progressed as well, coming up with a few ideas for possible techniques that he might be able to come up with here.

Frigid's Drain Grenade connected, and obviously took the blue-haired Saiyan by surprise. This variant was much different than the attack Frigid had used in the tournament, and the Icejin watched with a smug smile on his face as Conri soon felt the effects. A look of desperation shot through his face, as the grenade began to drain him, and it was not hard to see what would happen next. A ball of ki formed in his hand and he blasted the grenade, forcing it to detonate. As the explosion faded, Frigid watched his friend still standing tall.
Frigid braced himself as Conri readied an attack. Lightning crackled inside his hands, forming a sphere. Wondering just how he'd counter such a move, the Icejin crouched down low. Maybe he could jump away from it, if he could time this right. The gravity was intense, but Frigid believed he could use his ability to fly to help propel himself away.
The attach was formed quickly, and when Conri released it, it took off, crackling violently towards Frigid. Putting all his energy into his legs, the warrior lept into the air, ki exploding from his feet as he rose. The lighting barreled forward, crashing into the wall behind him. But Frigid did not land gracefully at the other side. Crashing hard, Frigid connected with the floor, a bright crackle of lightning rippling through his tail.
His timing had been off, and as a consequence, his tail got caught in the attack. As the lightning shot through his body his muscles tightened and his concentration was broken, causing his flight to fail. Frigid couldn't help but let out a roar of frustration as he landed. Had he jumped just a second sooner the attack would have missed completely. But with the added gravity and weights in his clothing, Frigid had made a huge mistake; and in a life or death situation, this would have been something that cost him his life. This frustrated the Icejin to no end. He would be going on missions soon; he couldn't afford to make those mistakes in the field.
But as the paralysis wore off, Frigid's frustration turned to determination. Returning to his feet, Frigid could no longer feet his tail, the lightning had numbed it completely, and as a result it was laying lifelessly on the floor. A smile passed through his face as his right hand rose into the air, and he carefully watched as he flexed his fingers. His right hand was working correctly. Lowering it, he rose the left, watching it as only three of his fingers moved, none of them able to ball correctly into a fist. It seemed that the sudden jolt had also numbed his left hand.
A laugh left his mouth as he eyed his friend, “I'm still in if you are,” he told him, confident his friend would agree to continue the fight. When he said yes, Frigid would rush forwards, spinning quickly on his heel to try to deliver a kick to Conri's stomach. If it connected, Frigid would rely mainly on his feet to rain a barrage of kicks to follow. If Conri chose to retaliate with his own melee attacks, Frigid would use his one-and-a-half arms to try to block the blunt of it. He owed it to Conri to give him a battle that rivaled the one they had in the tournament. This was one of many rematches Frigid hoped to have with Conri; each topping the last with the techniques and strategies used, but more importantly displaying just how much each of them were improving, and which was truly the strongest.

Watching as the Icejin jumped to avoid his attack, against an attack that behaved normally that would have been the right call, but his Lightning Ball was not one of those attacks. The timing was off and thanks to the sporadic behavior of his attack, Frigid had been caught within the burst of electricity and suffered some damage because of the attack. Now they were more or less on even ground with the damage they had taken, it seemed that it would come down to almost a similar ending as the simulator with the both of them being far too exhausted to even move. Still the challenge he was being provided was a fun one all the same, he would continue to push his body until it broke down completely that was both the blessing and curse of being a Half-Saiyan.
It seemed that despite the his own sudden immobility in his limbs, Frigid was more than ready to continue and so was Conri for that matter, he didn't even need to respond as the Icejin drew in closer to him. When he saw the kick, he had a plan for how to deal with it though it would need him to take the brunt of the attack as well. Bracing his muscles for the blow, as he dropped his elbow and struck out with his knee attempting to catch Frigid's knee between them. It would hopefully limit some of the Icejin's movements while they sparred, but that was only if he actually got lucky with the strike. He knew that his friend had natural armoring and a tougher body in general, so it would be seen if his tactics would be of any use or if he would need to come up with some better ideas.
Moving back as he held his side where the kick connected he would have to watch how Frigid came at him to determine the next best move he could make here. It wouldn't do any good for him to rush things while injured, that was how others tended to lose they would just charge in without any sense. He didn't want this to have some lame ending like that, they would decide things with an epic resolution whenever and whatever that happened to be. With how they kept getting injured it probably wouldn't be too far off from now, especially given that he was sure he had a couple bruised or broken ribs. (Sorry for the wait and that it's not that great)

Frigid's spinning kick connected hard at Conri's side, but the Saiyan seemed eager to counter. Using his knee and elbow, Conri caught Frigid's leg with a powerful blow. Frigid howled out, the hit rumbling through his whole leg. There was no doubt now he was far more versed in the gravity than the Icejin. His speed in such gravity was incredible, something Frigid hoped to achieve himself, someday.
After landing his counter, Conri moved back, holding his side where Frigid's kick had landed. "Well, at least I did some damage," Frigid thought as he grabbed his own leg, keeping the pretty much useless limb in the air. As he looked at the Saiyan, he realized that the fight was nearly over. The idea made him let out a chuckle, even through his gritted teeth. The two were so alike, neither one would ever back down from a fight. They were warriors.
"You're lucky we're in this gravity," Frigid huffed, there was obvious pain in his voice, but there was also humor, "Cause I'd have mopped the floor with you already." But such a statement was proven a joke as he burst into laughter after. It hurt to laugh, but to Frigid, this was funny.
Catching himself, Frigid rose into the air and dropped his leg. He would have to stay off the floor the best he could. Cocking his right hand back, he made a fist, golden ki bursting into it. The ki would grow brighter and brighter as more energy was pumped into it. Frigid was ready for the only thing he could do in this situation. The same last resort that he used in the tournament.
With his glowing fist, Frigid was charging up his Death Wave. This attack would no doubt end up powerful, but it was not meant to kill Conri; this attack was meant to see just how powerful they both were. This attack would push both of them to their limits, and hopefully burst through it. Death Wave; Charge 1
(No worries; I feel this is winding to an end, so lets go out with a bang!)

It seemed that this battle was coming to a similar close as their tournament match had become, the two of them both pretty banged up from their fighting with the last match likely decided by a clash of power. This time would be a bit different as there was less of a power gap between the two, so not only would the explosive power of the technique be much more destructive in comparison, but it would be up to the two individuals to see who won this time. Since Frigid was using the technique that he had during the tournament, then Conri would use the one he had to finish things here as well. Lifting his hands over his head, he began to charge up the technique that he had carried with him throughout his life and the one that seemed to be more apart of him than the others.
His own power gathering into his arms, it would come down to a clash of their strength, determination, and the sheer force of their wills. Both had each of those in spades, so it was definitely going to be something worth experiencing that was for sure. Marisa was already preparing the shields of the ships interior to withstand the destructive force of the blast, it was just going to be a matter of when they stopped charging their attacks. Round two of their battle could go either way, Conri was looking forward to seeing what would happen next. (Sorry, it's late and so short, tried to think of something cool, but it turned out lame.)
