How long had it been since Kit went off on his little adventure of self discovery? A week? A month? More? Long enough though for his spunky, blue haired little brother to go ahead and get things moving at the school without him. Like it or not, Ethan was here to stay, there was no way he'd ever got back to the compound and in order to ensure that, he had to be able to support himself. To that effect, the teen had opened the school himself rather then waiting for his brother's return. He knew he'd probably catch hell for it but Ethan couldn't sit around waiting and eat through their food supply in the process, while Kit was off doing who knows what. No, he had to get their business off the ground and that's exactly what he'd done. He wasn't by any means teaching advanced techniques though as he himself didn't really understand all of what had been recorded in the dojo's books. Instead Ethan was teaching basic self defense courses under the pretext of the being an assistant to the school's master, not one of them as he believed, no matter how much butt he could kick, people weren't going to take a school run by a teenager seriously. And so far it seemed to be working, every day there was a steady flow customers arrived and booked sessions with the ripped teen. Half the time he didn't know if it was because of his looks or the strategically placed posters around the city, but business was picking up and so far not a single customer had complained.
Today was another one of those days, the morning booking being two young women from the city's south end and then just before lunch a young man who both looked like he belonged on an MMA television show and couldn't believe how much more skilled a kid was then him. Ethan particularly enjoyed that lesson as, while he wouldn't admit it to himself, the guy sort of reminded him of Kit and for once it was nice to best that mental image of his older brother. To be the teacher for once instead of the student. Truth be told, as much as he was missing Kit, Ethan was otherwise happy, enjoying every moment of his new life. That lesson had lasted fully past three in the afternoon however so when they finally broke for the day, the blue haired by, feeling quite ravenous, headed strait to the kitchen to prepare his lunch. With time his cooking was getting better and better and with actual money in his pocket, Ethan was able to afford better food then just plain, old rice and fish. No, today's lunch, while actually being leftovers from the previous night's dinner, was actually a selection of well prepared chicken cutlets and mashed potatoes. Wish his plate and a glass of milk in hand, the blue haired teen sat himself down in the entrance garden, next to a reflecting pool to enjoy the scenery as he ate.

The air had been crisp and sweet the entire trip. It was one of the few things that Mozoku could rely on being a fairly constant thing when he was in the mountains that was. As he grew closer to the city that smell was slowly replaced with one that was laced with smog from the concrete landscape. While most probably couldn’t smell the difference, Mozoku could tell quite definitively due to the fact that the Muzai compound was far from any sort of pollution. Unlike Kurosanai who was often confined to the compound for one training or another Mozoku did not have any such restrictions and though he hadn’t been to the city often his visits had been growing more frequent while his cousin was away. The entire situation with that was one shrouded in mystery, as most in the clan did not know that Kurosanai was leaving until he was already gone. Even Mozoku couldn’t wish him farewell before he disappeared into the night and he was one of the closest to the prodigy of the Muzai.
His eyes drifted towards the sky as he began to break the outer limits of the city. All that Izanami had told Mozoku was that Kurosanai had been contracted to do some work off world. No name as to who the employer was or what his best friend was involved in. While he was gone much had changed, the high minister Kemuri had taken the throne and from what rumors had circulated had recently gone off to finish the last remnants of rebellion currently on Earth. Or at least that was what the whispers were on the street. Then up on the Moon Akassa Hattori, daughter of the late King had usurped him to claim the head of the Saiyan monarchy. Mozoku knew that current events were not exactly the strongest skill of Kurosanai but he doubted that he would be naïve enough to not think that these events mattered.
“I am going to have to teach that fool everything that has happened while he is gone…” Mozoku sighed as he closed his eyes for a moment. When he opened them again he spotted what he had been looking for. It was simple building that appeared to be being renovated with the hope of making it not look so rundown, which was desperately needed. Mozoku had heard from of the local farmers that the boy that ran the gym was quite skilled in hand to hand combat. Of course that piqued his interest as he had hoped to test his how rusty his skills were and how he stacked up against someone that didn’t have the Aoiro no Tsuisata. His sparring matches with Kurosanai had become more and more one sided over the years until it reached the point that he no longer could even stand before his cousin and give him a challenge. This was a thought that ate away of the once thought of great hope of the clan. He had been held in the same esteem as Kurosanai was now as he was almost a sure thing to be the next to possess the legendary technique.
But it was Kurosanai that obtained the great gift.
Mozoku couldn’t keep up with him as he was able to access reserves that seemed to become deeper and deeper each time they stood across from one another. He had to find himself again; he had to prove that he was still relevant. With quickened pace the boy crossed through the threshold of the gym to find a blue haired boy sitting on the steps to the main building across from the small reflecting pool with a plate of food in his hand.
“Well I’ll be damned; it looks nicer inside than it does outside.” Mozoku chuckled to himself as he approached the boy. He was not sure what he would think but it mattered little, appearances rarely granted the true impression of someone’s power. In Mozoku’s case he was clad in country travel clothing that had seen better days, with sun tanned skin and blonde hair that sat on top of his head. “I don’t mean to interrupt your meal but I hear that you are a strong fighter. Am I correct?”
(For this thread Mozoku is going to be roughly 1700 pl with a 2x.)

Ethan had barely gotten to the first bite when he heard the front gate being opened and glanced to the side to see who it was that had entered the school's grounds. Sipping his drink as the figure approached, the blue haired boy noted that the other was a blonde haired young man, either in his late teens or early twenties, dressed in some shabby looking garb that looked like it belonged to a poor farmer. That very well might be who this person was, a farmer on is way in to town for supplies and stopping by to rest or maybe coming to the school with a specific purpose. Either way it did not matter to Ethan, a guest was a guest, regardless of their reason for being there, unless of course that reason was to make trouble, in which case the blue haired boy would be only too happy to show him the gate. Ethan got his answer only a moment later and thankfully it didn't require that he toss the other young man out, although there was the possibility, however slim it might be, that the blonde's polite attitude was just a cover and his inquiry about Ethan's own prowess a ploy before some attempt to take over the school.
The boy immediately discounted that possibility though, it was the kind of ridiculous thing that would happen on one of those radio dramas he occasionally listened to with his headphones and music player, not something that happened in real life. Besides, Ethan wasn't nearly suspicious enough of the world to expect things like that anyway, so the ridiculous notion, however exciting it might have been, was filed away as just that, ridiculous. Instead he took the other young man at face value, seeing him as probably being a farmer who wandered in looking for lessons, and why not, his reputation in the city was growing, why not out in the opposite direction, to the country?
"Afternoon." Ethan replied with a friendly smile and set his glass down before standing up, his tightly muscled frame turning to face the other young man. "Well that all depends on who you talk to. Only guy in the world I can't beat consistently is my brother." the blue haired boy continued, ignorant of just how outclassed he was compared to some fighters out there. "If you've come for lessons then you're in the right place and talking to the right guy. I handle the hand to hand training here and my brother, when he's around, teaches more advanced techniques." the shirtless teen added and held his hand out. "Name's Ethan by the way. What can I do for you?"

Life on Wonder Island was great! Carla managed to take a week long vacation, not as long as she hoped, to rest and recuperate and although she promised herself she would not leave until she got stronger hunting down the many wild birds, beasts, and animals of the island for money and food actually went against her concept of resting. Therefore, the wariness brought her home on a small ship to the main land where she flew from there back to Central City. She was going to walk from there as she landed within the city limits itself but as she got closer into the area where her apartment was she noticed an odd compound for training there.
"Has that been here before?" she pondered as she looked as its smaller, unscrupulous sign near the entrance. She walked up the stairs to the dojo itself and upon reaching there noticed a man with black hair and a black jacket as well as a guy with blue hair within the entry way of the training gym. She stopped and her eyes widened with excitement. Although the two were in conversation there was no way Carla would forget the owner of the black jacket. It was Kurosanai Muzai!
She brushed her short red hair to one side, brushed out the wrinkles in her green and yellow flowered kimono and clambered up the steps to the institution. When she got to the top of the long stairs she cried at the top of her lungs, "KUROSANAI-KUN!" hoping that the guy would not turn around and faint. It was very likely though he would since people often got easily frightened by loud noises or outbursts such as Carla's right now. It didn't matter what he did though in her opinion it was time for a long awaited reunion. She actually wanted to apologize for the way she'd acted towards him last time and wanted to show him the techniques she had 'stolen' from the great Kami-sensei.
In truth, she'd been trained by him to learn the Dodon Ray but she realized it was better to say she stole it since it was in her family's heritage now to steal, kill, etc. At least that's what she currently felt, since the world to her was black and white and she remembered not having done nice things to the people on the Lookout after joining Kami-sensei. Therefore, she was a black-heartened vixen.

Mozoku’s intention was never to interrupt the man’s lunch. It just happened tha way and frankly it frightened him a little that this entire situation was getting off on the wrong foot. Luckily though the blue haired man was not in the least offended, at least that he showed. In fact he seemed more than cordial and ready to jump into conversation. Mozoku was used to this in the country for the simple fact that most of the people of the region recognized him or his cousin, Kuro. So it was a matter of courtesy not to piss off the protectors of the region. In the city that was less the fact, most people shoved past each without so much as even making eye contact. The entire time in the city he had yet to receive a single greeting from anyone on the street. He really couldn’t stand the city, but this man was different. Just by his attitude Mozoku could tell that he was not originally from the city. It was rather refreshing.
"Afternoon. Well that all depends on who you talk to. Only guy in the world I can't beat consistently is my brother. If you've come for lessons then you're in the right place and talking to the right guy. I handle the hand to hand training here and my brother, when he's around, teaches more advanced techniques. Name's Ethan by the way. What can I do for you?” Ethan stated happily. It was truly refreshing to see a kind person here in the city.
“The name is Mozoku. I am actually here to test my skill level since I think I have lost my sense of how truly strong I am. You see my cousin…” Mozoku started to say to Ethan. Little did Mozoku notice but another person had joined this little meeting and was about to make a splash.
“KUROSANAI-KUN!” The words cut through Mozoku’s sentence and thoughts. A noticeable cringe ran up his spine as the words settled on his ears. If this entire situation had not been somewhat awkward before it had just become so. He had arrived at this school to test his mettle and see how he matched up against someone other than Kurosanai. And now someone was foolish enough to mistake Mozoku with his cousin even though the two looked nothing alike. Mozoku slowly turned to see who was calling out to the wrong person. To his surprise it was Carla Andorran, the girl that Izanami had supposedly arranged to marry Kurosanai when she was of age. Mozoku knew little of the situation out of the complaining the prodigy of the Muzai had done before he left to go on his job.
“I am sorry. You must have me confused with my cousin. Kurosanai still has not returned from his job out in space. And before you ask I do not know when he is set to return. We have not heard a single word from him.” Mozoku responded with a hint of annoyance in his voice. Even when he was trying to do something for himself he was running into trouble with getting rid of any influence of his cousin and best friend.

Ethan didn’t even get to shake the young man’s hand before they were interrupted by a third party, a rather loud third party of the decidedly feminine type. It wouldn’t have been so bad had the interruption been one or the other, loud or the voice of a girl. Unfortunately for the blue haired boy though, the interruption was both and the result was the type of ear piercing screech that one expected from overzealous anime characters. Ethan though had no experience with such media yet, otherwise his response would have been a none too nice wise crack about the interruption. Instead however he simply retracted his hand and leaned to the side, poking his head out around the other young man’s shoulder to see who exactly it was that had so boldly announced their arrival. Judging by Mozoku’s facial expression as he turned, Ethan could tell he wasn’t too pleased either, whether by the interruption it’s self or the young lady approaching them, the blue haired boy didn’t know and neither did it really matter, if they had personal issues then he’d shoe them both outside to deal with them.
Hopefully though that wasn’t the case and it was simply the ostentatious arrival that had so irked the other young man. Evidently though it seemed to be a case of mistaken identity that had bothered him so much as the young man started to explain that she’d mistaken him for a cousin. Neither of the names, Mozoku or Kurosanaikun, was at all familiar to Ethan so the boy had no idea why such a misidentification was so disturbing to his first guest, and again it didn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things anyway.
“Heh hem.” Ethan started, issuing a decidedly more polite interruption of his own as he stepped out from behind Mozoku. “After noon Miss. Welcome to the Crane School.”

Carla's jaw dropped open as soon as the man who looked like her lovely Kurosanai spoke. "Ah-Ah, you've got to be kidding me!" She was not happy and made it apparently clear as she crossed her arms over her chest and puffed up her cheeks. "Boy, I'm going to kill Kurosanai if he doesn't die in space! I want to go there too! I've never been!"
She stamped her feet on the ground and almost thought about sitting down, but couldn't because the guy Mozoku was with peeked over behind the guy's shoulder and greeted her. "Doesn't he look like Kurosanai!" she cried as she attempted to sli past Mozoku, wrap around behind Ethan, and then point her index finger at Kurosanai's cousin's back. "He's dead on near similar to him. This has got to be a clone of some kind. My poor Kurosanai's been kidnapped by aliens!" If Mozoku did attempt to stop her from doing this she would just stand there, say the same thing, but definitely build up a good number of tears in her eyes.
It was terrible that the Muzai clan master had left her on Earth all alone without any idea where he was going. It made sense though that he was gone after their fight and the fact that Kami, the Earth's guardian came first, however, without him it was sure to be disastrous on the planet.
(Just to make sure, since this seems to occur concurrently, maybe after the saga on Earth is Kami dead or alive?)

This girl was more annoying than Kurosanai had described. She was acting like nothing more than an immature little child stomping around on the ground about how the prodigy of the Muzai clan had yet to return. She had little to talk about, she was an arranged future wife, and he was Kurosanai’s cousin and best friend. Mozoku wasn’t even sure where Kurosanai was headed as everything was kept in complete secret. Only Izanami knew and she was not exactly the most forth coming individual in the world. In fact after Kurosnai he was not further along the line of people that were ‘well liked’ by the quiet leader of the clan.
“I do not know where he went off to and frankly I do not care if you know where he is,” Mozoku stately bluntly. Unfortunately for Ethan he was being subject to nothing but petty drama that his family was dealing with. Ethan had been interrupted from his lunch to listen to the little girls temper tantrum when in actuality all that Mozoku wanted to do was to test his strength. He had been in his best friend’s shadow for so long that he had lost the concept of how strong he actually was. Kurosanai had seemed to pick up steam and was fast approaching a level that Mozoku would never be able to accomplish and it irked him. He was the one that had helped train Kuro in martial arts, Mozoku was the crisper fighter, the smarter individual and the more serious member of the clan. While Mozoku loved Kurosanai he was becoming upset with the fact that he couldn’t really be around him anymore.
To be mistaken for him only seemed to set him off though. Mozoku and Kurosanai did not look the same like the young girl was alluding to. Kurosanai was fully wrapped in bandages almost all the time while Mozoku was able to wear normal clothing. The second was that Mozoku had dirty blonde hair while Kurosanai’s was black. For a girl that was going to marry his best friend one would think that she would at least know what her future husband was going to look like. “Ethan I apologize for this girl’s behavior. I really had just come today in order to test my skills. Not to deal with young children and their temper tantrums.” Mozoku said as he tried to distract the blue haired boy from the scene that was being constructing around them.

It takes a lot to get under Ethan's skin.... Ok, truth be told, no it doesn't, especially when the teen was in a surly mood and this scene was very quickly starting to put him in that mood. While normally the blue haired boy wouldn't mind at all a pretty girl slinking around him like this one, but they way he was being maneuvered into some squabble he had no part or interest in, was not at all appealing. It didn't matter a hill of beans to Ethan who this Kuroshushi guy was nor how much Mozuko did or didn't look like him.
"Uh... Look, miss." Ethan started, extricating himself from her coiling clutches. "I don't know who this guy is you're talking about and frankly I don't really care. This is a school, not the gossip corner in a café. I don't want to be rude but I'm hear to teach people how to defend themselves and this gentleman was trying to engage my services. Now would you like to watch us or would you care to make an appointment for training yourself?" the shirtless teen continued, being as polite as he could be.

Carla backed away from Ethan and stood there blinking, "Oh, um..."
Just take his fine offer before he kicks you out. It's clear that this blond guy and the shirtless man are the only ones here. Poor Kurosanai, the guy you love so much, is definitely not. Pandora remarked.
Carla rubbed the back of her head then said to Ethan, "Okay, I'll learn from you sir but just be warned I actually got trained by an actual god before this twice so I'm pretty strong. In fact, it's cause of the actions that recently occurred in his home I may have come back to this city. I'm trying to make sure I don't get killed in a real fight next time. That said, I don't want to hurt you both during training so I'm intending not to use my explosive arsenal of ki moves if you're not up to it sir."
Carla then bowed to both Mozoku and Ethan thrice and begged for their forgiveness by doing this. "I'm sorry to have caused you so much trouble." she added before straightening up and bumping her fists together.

This day just getting better. First he had been mistaken for Kurosanai, then the little girl was arguing with him over who he really was and now when given the option to just walk away from the entire situation she opts to stick around. He had wanted to come to this gym to test his own might and not deal with a little girl who was no better than a temper tantrum throwing brat. Mozoku wanted nothing of what was going on.
“You got to be kidding me? I spend my entire time traveling to this school to truly test my own strength only to have that opportunity stripped from me by a temper tantrum. I refuse to leave until I get what I came here for!” Mozoku yelled as he had finally lost his temper. “I came to this school to prove that I do not always live in Kurosanai’s blasted shadow! And now I am getting put back down not by the man that I have grown tired of but his future child bride?!” All of his hate had been pent up for so long that he could barely function anymore. He wanted his own moment to shine but even now when he was light years away in who knows what hellish place.
Turning to the blue haired man he made a plea in the most desperate fashion. “Please for everything that is right, do not let her stay. I want to be able to test my mettle against you here and now not jump into a tag team bout with a girl that appears to not understand that. I was here first; I want to test my mettle against you, not her. You stand to look like nothing but a hypocrite for preaching fairness if you give in to a temper tantrum!” Mozoku was done. If Ethan would not give him the satisfaction of attempting to take his cause to another level then he would have to take things into his own hands. The girl may be the future bride of Kurosanai but she was nothing but a spoiled brat to Mozoku. This was far from what he would normally even entertain but the once formerly heralded man wanted his moment. Little did he know but him and Ethan were quite similar in that regard. Ethan seeking ways to prove that he did not live in his brother’s shadow.

Things were going from weird to weirder as Ethan delivered his ultimatum, asking that the young lady contain herself or leave. Now it’s true that men and women don’t exactly think the same way, but the blue haired boy was dumbfounded when the young lady accepted his offer but then turned right around and started to do the exact opposite. The shirtless teen looked on in complete confusion as she descended into a rambling monologue, babbling about supernatural training and gods and who knows what else, frankly Ethan’s eyes glazed over with even more confusion. Then she started bowing at both he and his other guest and Ethan simply didn’t know what to do, he’d never encountered someone who acted so strangely before. In fact he was at such a loss for word he looked to his other guest, Mozoku for some form of guidance as he’d evidently dealt with this young lady before.
Unfortunately for the blue haired boy, Mozoku appeared to be as infuriated with the young lady as Ethan was confused. The other young man exploded at both of them, pointing out that he was there first and that he demanded to have his match against Ethan without interference. While Ethan was a little annoyed himself, he couldn’t have this situation degenerate into an all out fight and so would need to take a hold of it now before a shouting match broke out, which already seemed to be starting.
“ENOUGH!” the boy shouted himself, chopping the air before each of the two. “I am master of this school while my brother is away and I will not have my guests fighting. Students yes, but within the rules. But seeing as neither of you are students, I won’t have you fighting with each other on these grounds. Now, you…” he continued turning to Mozoku. “You were here first, yes, but you’ll behave yourself or I’ll throw you out. Now… that said, please go back down the steps and wait for me there.” the boy indicated one of the training gardens that surrounded the school as he spoke. “Take off anything you wish for our match, I’ll be right with you.”
“And you Miss.” Ethan added, turning away from Mozoku, not entertaining the possibility of a reply from the young man so as to exact as much control over the situation as possible. “What this young man says is true, he came here to test himself against me and did so first. After that test though I would be more then pleased to take you on as a student. But, you have to control yourself. It’s obvious Mozoku does not like being compared this brother of his and frankly I don’t care much for being bowed to, so you both shouldn’t and don’t have to do that any more. And that said, if you with to watch our match, you may do so. Likewise, if you wish to go inside or tour the grounds, the school is open. And as for gods and such, I don’t teach mysticism here, just hand to hand combat and basic energy control. The closest you’re going to get to the mystic is my brother and as I said, he’s not currently here.”

"I-I..." Carla stated as she tried to interrupt Ethan while he explained his position and what she had to do to continue staying at the temple. Her face became a pallid rock incapable of moving, much less twitching the moment he finished his explanations of what he expected of her and what his martial arts dojo was all about.
Perhaps this isn't a good place to train after all. Pandora told Carla quietly.
You think, Carla mentally answered her. She could see in Ethan's eyes that he was quite mad at her and there was strong reason to be. Like the child she was she had truly come forward and put herself out as the best, the greatest, whatever one wanted to think about themselves when they were in a good mood and as a result left Mozoku feeling like a loser in her presence. She had stolen his cousin from him, his training opportunity, and had possibly admitted to worming her way into his family even though she hardly knew a thing about them. This primarily being the case thanks to the fact Mozoku's cousin Kurosanai (as her future husband) had gone off and done a manly mission to who knows where in the universe on some other planet.
At this point she wished he could come home, but for her that would not happen not for a long time since she had no clue what he had gone off to do. Her mind was so far off into other thoughts though that she forgot to breathe and as a result of this felt her body become rigid like plank wood. Her head became as light as air and thanks to this feeling she could not help but surrender herself to toppling over and hitting the ground like a rock.
Fortunately she felt backwards onto the shimmering wooden panels, however, it still did not make up for the fact they were really hard causing her to groan with a loud, "Ah!" before falling into unconscious. This was the real Carla; a pure bred drama queen not a highly skilled ninja-assassin from a family of assassins. All that was certain now was that Ethan had an even stronger reason to kick her out and could likely do so with his high authority as the place's ranked master martial artist.

The girl proved to be nothing but a distraction like she had been the entire time she was in the Muzai compound. There it was a distraction from people doing their own jobs as she passed by when Kurosanai happened to be on the planet still. Now that the boy had declared that the girl would have to wait for their sparing match to end she goes and faints. Mozoku was sure that she had done so on purpose and it only made his blood boil. This girl was proving to be nothing more than a pain in his ass. He had wanted to come to this school to test his strength but now all he was getting was a run around.
Ethan would no doubt jump to the little girl’s aid because that was how he seemed to be. After that he would have to tend to her further delaying any real chance of Mozoku actually getting his fight. She may have been a future in law but boy did he just want to smack her across the face. Mozoku instead of even acknowledging what had just happened turned on his heels and walked over to the edge of a short wall dusted it off and sat down. He would wait there for this little drama queen to get over and done with her show so that he could finally get what he wanted. After being lectured for letting his temper get to him Mozoku decided to take a different approach this time. He would completely keep his nose out of what was going on. If she wanted to be a little brat then she could do so over there, Mozoku was going to wait here.
“I really can’t believe this…I am haunted by his shadow no matter where I go. I am tired of being caught in it. I have a sinking suspicion it is only going to get worse when he gets back to Earth too. No doubt he will come blazing in like a champion returning home from war. Pathetic.” Mozoku grumbled under his breath. At the rate this was going he was not going to get his fight until tomorrow morning.

Ethan had, had about as much of this as he was going to take. Being a patient teacher was one thing, but his patience has it's limits and they had already been reached and now exceeded. The young woman... girl, he'd been about a polite as possible to in telling her to behave herself was doing exactly the opposite. Mozoku was right, she was throwing a tantrum because she wasn't getting her way but Ethan wasn't going to play her game and by the looks of it, neither was the other young man. A look of utter frustration washed over the blue haired boy's face as he watched the girl tip herself over into the floor. Mozoku though seemed to have the right idea and simply turned away, no longer humoring the display and after a moment, now rubbing his temple, Ethan turned away as well, drama was not his cup of tea and he would not deal with it, dealing with it only made it worse. No, a cursory glance to ensure she wasn't injured and a sigh was all the credence her display was going to garner.
"Mister Mozoku," he called after the other young man and started after him. "You seem to have tuned me out while you were tuning her out, I asked you to meet me over there." Ethan continued, indicating the patch of bright, green grass he'd intended for their match to start on. "You do still want to fight me don't you?"
