Celeh's body slowly faded into being in the middle of a small clump of houses. She blinked, a bit confused by this, and took a long look around the area. It was quiet, peaceful, and rather pleasant to look at. That didn't stop her confusion, though, as this simply looked like a peaceful residential area rather than what she would have expected of heaven. Then again, she had no clue what to expect from heaven to begin with. The saiyan woman flicked her tail out of curiosity as she began to walk around and survey the place. She didn't bother knocking on any doors, as she knew no one here as far as she was aware. She hadn't even registered the idea that Ninjin and Leke both might be here since they, too, had fallen in battle. It was a lot to process at one time, and so Celeh was just strolling through heaven. It was then that she realized she was still wearing her battle armor and the accompanying attire. She paused in the street to look down at herself. Her armor and clothes were completely unscathed. Her body didn't have a single scar on it, and she felt completely invigorated. The soldier hadn't noticed until now, but she felt like she could take on the world. Is this what heaven always felt like? Was it possible to get tired here? Or to get injured? She might have to test that later to be sure, lest she get herself into an unpleasant situation without knowing how deep of trouble she was in. For now, though, she sat down on a bench on the sidewalk and looked up at the sky. It looked similar to the sky on Earth. She remembered it from the multiple visits to that blue planet... (OOC: I am bad at starters. I always feel like mine are bleh. lol)

“Battles: seven thousand two hundred forty-four. Correction, seven thousand three. Average length fifteen minutes, minus the screaming. Rate of success if aggressor: forty-seven percent. Lower than normal. I will have to study this.” A small voice said as it seemed to bounce off of the houses. Small footsteps could be heard as a figure maybe five feet tall emerged from in between two houses. The small figure wore large circular glasses and a bowl haircut that would make several hair stylists cringe. A large tome was pressed to his chest that was approximately as large as his entire torso. As the small man walked out into the open area his eyes catch the presence of a woman that seemed to tower over him. Clad in battle armor and a tail flicking behind her he was left unsure of what to do.
“Woman warrior, forty-three percent of all fighters. Number of true super saiyans, four. Super saiyans in sight, zero.” It was a nervous little tick the boy had. He had spent his entire life essentially with his nose buried in books with the hope to learn everything there was to the universe or if not as much as physically possible. Thus far he had been relatively successful you would be surprised what being trapped away in a library full of books and stories does to one’s knowledge. Add in the fact that kais were near omniscient when they wanted to be. When it came down to it Chishiki was able to not only see this universe but he was able to steal glimpses of others which was something that not even the Dai Kaioshin could do. It was the best kept secret in all the universe as he did not have much power relatively and would not be able to adequately defend himself.

Celeh glanced up when the awkward mumblings and footsteps of the other came to her attention. The soldier turned her head and raised an eyebrow when he looked at her and mouthed off a couple of sentences that sounded like factoids. She couldn't help but laugh, but not at his mannerisms or his appearance. She stood up and approached him calmly before extending a hand. Normally she wouldn't do something like this, but this was heaven. She had a feeling that causing trouble would be grounds for dismissal, and she'd rather not go through that if she could avoid it. So she tried to be friendly. "You must be one of the locals. My name is Celeh." She paused to allow him to, perhaps, identify himself and return her greeting.
After a moment or two of waiting whether he greeted her or not the saiyan woman would smirk, "You're not entirely correct in your information, though." She shook her head at him and added, "I'm not a warrior. I hate to admit it, but you are right about the fact that I am not a super saiyan, though. I don't know if I have the potential for that form, or if I simply haven't reach the power to obtain it yet." She looked up at the sky with a sigh and then shook her head again. She couldn't think like that. One day, she would obtain that power. Celeh had to believe that she, too, had the potential that the four others had shown.
"If you're looking for an explanation why your statement about me being a warrior is wrong, I'll be glad to tell you. It's a matter of purpose." She flicked her tail and paused to allow him to mull over that notion. She then sat back down on the bench and crossed her arms, looking at him with a hint of curiosity as she wondered how he might respond. She tried to ignore the fact that he had done nothing but label her since he had seen her. "Warriors fight for pride, glory, and for themselves. Soldiers fight for duty, and so that others do not have to fight." It was a distinction she'd been very keen on making herself. Did she have pride? Yes. Would she fight for her pride if need be? Of course. No self respecting saiyan would throw away that pride. But as of right now, her pride had never been in question. All of her battles had been fought because she had to fight them to prevent others from doing so. Perhaps her death had saved another the misery of perishing. If even a single life was saved by her fighting, then her duty as a soldier had been fulfilled. Still, she did not get to complete her own goals and it left her feeling unfulfilled. She didn't expect heaven would give her a chance to find fulfillment, though.

The woman actually began to walk towards Chishiki. This only caused his mind to flutter through various images of everything that he had read. Images of Saiyans destroying everything that lay before them through the use of their great Oozaru form. The unrivaled power of the first super Saiyans in the Z fighters quickly appeared but was only replaced by the truly unmatched power of Broly. Saiyans have only shown destruction throughout much of their history. Even into the modern era, sure they toned it down but it meant little in the grand scheme of things. They were still violent even if it did not mean it was as expressed. Both this woman and that of the former crown prince were sent to take millions of innocent lives. Lives that for the most part had never actually lift a finger against the Saiyan race.
“Definition: warrior and soldier in fact different. Connotation: similar. Synonyms: yes. Noticeable difference: no. Soldiers and warriors inflict death. Death leads to work for King Yemma. Good souls go up to Heaven. Bad souls plunged to Hell. Simple logic, unbreakable.” Chishiki stammered as the air began to flicker with power. It would only be an instant before two large fighters appeared by the side of Chishiki. As they appeared both attacked with heavy handed punches that were designed to send the woman flying back. Chishiki hated dealing with the other kaioshin if he did not have to. The only presence he actually enjoyed being around was that of Shizukesa but it came to mortals they simply scared him. Such creatures only sought death and misery on the universe.
“You are not different. You guard a Queen that holds a great power within her. The evil bites her shadow and longs for her to make a mistake. This is not story, it is fact.” Chishiki said almost poetically. “You are complicit for allowing such evil to seep into minds by doing nothing.” It was a darker tone than he originally intended to say and immediately retreated back behind his book by bringing up to his face.
(For all creations and for purposes of attacks everything will be equivalent to your pl.)

Celeh had attempted a friendly gesture, but she was met with hostility. His words held nothing but contempt. The two brutes that appeared to defend him from an attack that never happened landed their blows on the soldier and she was knocked for a backflip from both of their attacks. They did not make any further advance at the time, though, and although she was hurt by the punches, her armor deflected some of the force and she landed in a sliding crouch. The soldier came to a halt and slowly stood back up. She turned her back to the Kaioshin and shook her head, "The look in your eyes is no different from theirs. Whether backed by religious zeal or so-called fact, the contempt you hold for me is no different. At one time I guarded Akassa, but that was before she took the throne. I don't believe in her actions or her possession of the crown. The life I left behind is just that...left behind."
She slowly turned back around to face the small man hiding behind the two brutes and the book. "Why do you show me aggression when I extend my hand in a show of friendliness? Do you hate me that much already? I have done nothing against you. I will not lie, I have taken life with my hands. But I have saved more than that." Without hesitation she walked over toward him a second time and extended her hand openly again. If the two brutes got in her way she would stop and extend her hand to them instead. "This is heaven. I assumed mindless violence would not be permitted here. I do have a lot of questions, but unless I'm in friendly company it's unlikely that I would get any answers."
The soldier stepped back from the small man and the brutes after that, whether either of the three of them shook her hand or not. "I cannot take action against a foe I am unaware of." Celeh would rather not have to fight the first person she met in heaven, but if he continued to attack her for no reason, she would have no qualms with using her full strength to fight back. Heaven or not, she would not be pushed around by a stranger spouting off nonsense.

The Saiyan was hurt by Chishiki’s actions. What would she expect? Chishiki never dealt with anyone in Heaven outside of Shizukesa and the others. Mortals never spoke to him and few kais even saw him in years. To him her coming close to him was that of pure terror. No one ever tried to touch him. But it was the words she spoke afterwards that seemed to hit home the most for the small kai. She accused him of being no better than zealots and that she was only in a pursuit of knowledge.
“Zealots: religious followers who claim a fundamental form of a religion. Personality: often times intolerant of others, loud, violent, and deadly. Analysis: comparison while guided by principal is incorrect. Facts and history speak for itself. Conclusion: assessment and comparison to zealots is misplaced.” Chishiki spouted off as knowledge of numbers and events flashed before his eyes. The female Saiyan would not have any ability to comprehend the amount of information that he was analyzing.
The two guards shifted slightly as the female turned her back to the small kai. “If knowledge is what you seek than you will find no other with more. Wisdom: yes. Zeal: yes. Pride: yes. Hunger: most definitely. Intelligence and knowledge: you will not.” Chishiki’s fingers tightened around the book that protected his chest. Shizukesa had told him to explore and see what the mortals had with them when it came to memories and experiences. She stated that perhaps they would be able to shape the small kai’s perception of the universe. “Battle: favorite hobby of Saiyans. Likelihood: yet to be determined. Principle reason for fighter’s appearance: defense against mortal.” Taking a deep breath Chishiki calmed himself to utter the next sentence. “I am not used to dealing with mortals and to have one just rapidly approach me is a rather terrifying event.”

She didn't look back to him just yet. Instead Celeh chose to continue surveying her surroundings. The soldier was still trying to get a feel for her new environment. She wondered if he thought this was a game or if he was just trying to make his stance clear to her. Either way, he took her words a bit too literally. "I do not know what to make of your direct and concise way of speech. No one I've ever encountered speaks in such an analytical manner. Just don't go taking everything I say so literally." She tried to offer him a bit of advice just to keep from being annoyed at his way of speaking. Still, she had a feeling it would fall on deaf ears.
"So you're telling me that you have no experience in dealing with people like me who come from the living plane? For someone who claims to have a great deal of knowledge, I assumed that knowledge of people would be at the top of your list. Apparently I was mistaken. You fear me because I am a Saiyan, then? It's true we have an unpleasant history as a race, but there have been exceptions to the rule. Whether or not I am one of those I can't say for certain. I'm still finding my place in the universe." Her words sounded uncertain and concerned at the end, almost like these thoughts weighed heavily on her mind. The soldier finally turned back to face him and slowly extended her hand once more.
"Let's make this clear now. I'm not your enemy and I'm not here to attack you. I am a saiyan, a soldier, and a newcomer to heaven. I know no one and nothing about this realm, and you seem to know a lot about everything. I am not so blind as to not know when I am bested. Unless you're intent on giving me training, I'd request you not sic your two bodyguards on me." She kept her hand extended and looked down at him with a blank stare. It was hard for her to give a smile considering how her mind was racing and the fact that she'd just died...

Words weren’t working. Facts falling flat. Everything that Chishiki was responding with was being shrugged off like there was not a single shred of good in him. He had never interacting with many before. Shizukesa had been the only one that had ever talked to him with respect and dignity. Shibo cared only of food, Nemui was too stupid to even talk and Eregansu would not look at him. How is it that even when he met someone new they were accusing him of being no good?
“One. Only one that has ever shown kindness. Solitary. Single. You speak as if I am used to seeing others of this plane and even more so of that of the mortal realm, incorrect.” Chishiki said as he began to slouch behind the massive tome that sat in front of his chest.
“He is right. He doesn’t interact much with those of the mortal realm or this realm to be honest,” A sweet voice said from behind Celeh. Without so much as sound Shizukesa had arrived just a few feet behind the young saiyan woman. Her power suppressed to that of a mere tenth of a percent but it would not be her power that was distinctive. It was the way that she stood it was not that of faux confidence or arrogance. It was a posture that was indicative of great respect that was given to her. Her eyes were welcoming and warm as her blue hair fell far below that of Celeh’s. “Sweet Celeh, you must forgive Chishiki as he is not…the most socialable of our friendly family. To stand next to the girl that holds herself higher than any title given to her by any royal is quite an honor. It is rare that someone holds themselves to their own merits opposed to that of another.” Shizu smiled. Her demeanor quite different from Chishiki his eyes would light up when he saw that the leader of their group had arrived.

Celeh was going to respond to the man behind the oversized tome, but another person approached them and spoke. This person, a woman, carried great weight in her presence and her voice. Despite the warmth and sweetness in her tone, it was clear to the soldier that she was not someone to be disrespected or spoken down to. She properly turned to face this woman and spoke back to her, "He talks of offering kindness, and so far I have given plenty. He has knowledge, but he seems to have forgotten the way that most Saiyans react to animosity and being attacked upon first greeting. I have not returned an attack against him, but rather tried to extend my hand in friendship. Frightening as it may be for him to meet others, especially those not of your kind, I have been nothing but restrained and gracious about this. And I will continue to be so as long as I am not provoked again. I did not come here with the intention of fighting those around me. I was under the impression that heaven was a peaceful place. I have tried to explain to him that I only wish to maintain that peace. I do not wish to fight those who do not wish to fight, themselves."
The soldier then took a calm step forward toward Shizukesa and extended her hand to the female Kaio. "If he is too uneasy to accept my hand in friendship, then perhaps he would accept if you were to do it for him? Please understand that even the most disciplined saiyan like myself is ill-at-ease in times of peace. Just as he has already stated, fighting is in our blood. The difference is...some of us have chosen to fight for different reasons than simple pride...or power." She kept her hand extended, not withdrawing it as she would not be leaving this conversation until a peaceful resolution was found.
"You both already knew who I was upon meeting me, but I know nothing of you or anyone else here. If my directness is taken as rudeness you will have to forgive me. I'm accustomed to dealing with dignitaries, but in those cases generally I know who and what I am dealing with. The way you carry yourself is unlike even the most profound and wise rulers that I have met, yet there is a pleasant feel in your aura that relaxes my fighting instincts. If we were anywhere but heaven I would be greatly concerned with that."
She paused to take a breath and sighed. This would be a long and complex conversation or a short and unpleasant one. She could already feel it. Still, she asked one simple question, "Their own merits...are you talking about me? Does my sense of self-worth impress you in some way?" Her question may have sounded sarcastic to most, but for someone like Shizukesa who was likely very skilled at reading people, she would understand that Celeh did not mean anything by her tone. Rather...her curiosity and a touch of confusion had her frustrated at this whole situation and she was still maintaining her discipline and restraining herself.

The female saiyan certainly did a lot of talking. A little too much Shizukesa thought as she looked over to Chishiki who was still shrunk behind his tome with the two brutes by his side. The poor little kai was so far out of his element right now that he could barely see land. Tilting her head to one side she would wait for the small kai to lift his head. Once their eyes met a simple smile would be enough to relax Chishiki. His slouch lessened and his eyes at least seemed to calm themselves. Shifting her gaze to Celeh she studied the soldier. She had gone through much in her life and even as she flew to a mission she was not publicly endorsing. It was mission that her heart was never in yet she fulfilled her duty. It was quite commendable.
“I graciously accept your presence into Heaven. I would never turn away a sweet soul like your own.” Shizukesa responded to Celeh with a smile. “Yes though you are in Heaven, often times mortals do not truly have a grasp upon our realm. The duty of the kais is to be that of guardians and ever watchful to make sure that the balance of the universe does not tip into that of chaos. All kais are different with our own strengths varying just as much as that of mortals. Take Chishiki for example, he is one of the brightest minds in the universe because all he does is study. Due to all of this studying though he may very well be book smart but he does not lack physical prowess or at least not as much as others and he possesses no knowledge of social etiquette as you have seen.” Shizukesa laughed. She would give the soldier a moment to think on the statement for a bit.
“As for your question, why don’t you tell me what makes your life commendable? What would make your merits stand out above all the rest?” The question was designed to see exactly where the young saiyan was at in her acceptance of death. Could she see what her life had been built on or was the grand scheme too much for her to process.

Celeh had a lot to say now that there was no fighting to be done. In truth, though, it wasn't the fighting that had kept her silent. She always had thoughts and feelings on motivations behind the fighting and why the fighting happened. But as a soldier it wasn't her job to think or feel. It was her job to act and to prevent further loss. Now that she was dead and relieved of that duty, she had time to think...to analyze her thoughts and feelings...and to use them as fuel. Something that rarely ever came out of Celeh's mouth escaped her lips after she had listened to the female Kai's words. She turned to the kai with the oversized book and gave a half bow to him, "Do not misunderstand the actions of a fallen soldier. I mean you no harm or disrespect. I apologize if I have caused you trouble. You are right about me in some respects. Fighting is what I lived for, but the universe is not so black and white..."
She left Chishiki with that to think about and then turned back to Shizukesa, "I suppose I cannot truly fault him for a lack of etiquette. I am in unfamiliar territory and I do not know how things are treated here. As for my life..." Her gaze shifted upward, looking to the sky as her mind changed gears and took on a more ponderous notion. "I did not make it as far as I had wanted, but I believe that I did the best I could with my life. I was a soldier. I didn't always believe in what I was ordered to do, but I did my duty regardless because someone had to do it...and better me than someone else. I made a lot of sacrifices in my life...most of them at a loss of myself for someone else's gain. I spent my life working for the dreams of others, but I never faltered on my own moral code. Even in the end, when given a crucial mission to commit genocide...I was glad that we failed to obliterate a planet teeming with billions of lives. That kind of bloodshed would have drawn the ire of the entire universe and had enemies at the throat of the saiyan nation from all sides. Even if it was given to me directly from our previous ruler, I could not bring myself to support it. I urged Ninjin to avoid that path despite how set on it he seemed. I hope he found peace with his decision before the time came for him."
Celeh's true colors were those of compassion, but a life of discipline and battle had left her heart hardened and locked away from outside eyes. Her words were sincere, though, and she dropped her gaze back to Shizukesa. "I never followed my own dreams, but even when things were at their worst, I never allowed my moral resolve to be shaken. I did my duty as a soldier to the end when I could no longer carry it out..."

Unshaken. It seemed to be the only proper word to describe Celeh. Shizukesa smiled at the saiyan’s response. It was well worth challenging her as to her thoughts. To see the freedom she experienced for one of the first times in her entire existence it was well worth the reward. Taking a deep breath Shizukesa bowed her head as she felt the souls from Mement Mor, the ones that had not been lucky enough to escape the carnage, begin to enter the afterlife. The Cardinals that had perished during the fight though she felt another force intervene and with another thought they were gone beyond Shizukesa’s sight. A sigh escaped her lips, she really did hate it when higher powers meddled in affairs. Thankfully it did little more than grab these Cardinals for that given realm.
“Since you were so against the destruction of an innocent home to many, how does it feel knowing that you failed?” The words would hang from Shizukesa’s lips for a moment before her eyes lifted to Celeh. Now was the time to see what the saiyan was truly like. “The planet is gone. Both you and the late Prince Ninjin were successful in destroying it. Homes are gone, lives lost and hatred potentially spread more.”
Walking past Celeh she stops a few feet of Chishiki. Without a word Chishiki nods and his eyes begin to glow. Glancing over her shoulder, “What happens when your resolve is tested…when a soldier meets a fanatic? Can you show me how much you would defend your dream?” A new figure would appear out of nothing. It would be a woman fully clad in pink, a smile on her face and a purple eye patch stitched into her face. It would be a creation of Chishiki’s studies, it would be an exact replica of one of the Cardinals on Mement Mor, it was a replica of Iun Harime.
“Oh look, an unsavorably dressed monkey.”Iun stated with a cocked head as her parasol rested on her shoulder.
(Iun will be at your power level.)

Silence. Celeh's expression did not shift as her eyes traced the silhouette of the Kai. They hadn't been successful. Ninjin's attack hadn't destroyed the planet. Celeh knew that herself as she'd survived until shortly after the blast was dispersed by Invictus. She raised an eyebrow at Shizukesa and shook her head, "If the planet was destroyed it was not by an assault from the Saiyan military. Ninjin and I were the only ones who were sent, and I survived long enough to feel the energy of his final attack disperse. I do believe you, though...your words are not meant to deceive. If Mement Mor is destroyed then my people will be blamed." The soldier shook her head, "But I will not be tied down by a fate I didn't choose. That life has ended. However...that does not mean I cannot attempt to right what has been wronged..." Her words came to a stop after that.
Shizukesa began to speak again, this time of a test. To test her devotion to her dream? To test her determination? So that's how it was, then... Without hesitating Celeh took her fighting stance and smirked, "And here I thought heaven was going to be all sunshine and rainbows...I'm almost pleased to know that I won't be completely bored for eternity." One foot forward and one back, left hand forward at waist level with her fist clenched, right hand fist clenched at chest level with elbow completely bent and drawn back. She bent her knees almost into a crouching position as the girl in front of her twirled that parasol.
"Put up or shut up. The blind making observations? That's in poor taste, don't you think?" For once she didn't have a lot to say. Her power spiked and the familiar waves of aquamarine that made up her energy began to flow outward and then recede from her feet. The energy rose up her form and receded down to her feet, getting a bit higher up her body each time it extended. Like the tide of the ocean washing onto the beach, Celeh's energy flowed smoothly back and forth from her head to her feet by the time her power reached its peak. No time for games? Well, I've got an eternity, but I doubt they'd take kindly to me playing around. I'll show them...I will not be bound to the fate of my people. My destiny is my own now. Her mind had a little back and forth in her head before she decided to make her move.
A quick step forward, rotating on her heel as she planted that step. She kept her knee bent until her foot came around and the heel of her kick directed toward the other woman. She extended her supporting leg and kicking leg at the same time, aiming to drive the parasol toting girl up off the ground with a rising, back-spinning heel. It was a simple opening move, but she had to see just how strong this girl was.

The Saiyan was eager to jump straight into combat which was of little surprise to the kai. In fact it brought a happy feeling for the soldier. Training was one of those things that Saiyans could not seem to resist just like that insatiable appetite that accompanied the race. The only person with possibly a bigger appetite was that of Shibo. That kai could out eat even the greatest of monsters. He was a monster in his own fact.
With the Saiyan being so brash and eager to attack Iun did not even so much as flinch. Rather she stared back with a smile that never once faltered. She saw every move coming forward but made no attempt to stop the Saiyan. The dirty monkey wanted to dance in a place that seemed so beautiful. It was going to be on her to bestow this wretch some culture. The kick planted into her chest sending her up towards the sky. What the Saiyan didn’t realize was that small threads of red ki fiber now attached themselves to the leg of the girl.
“That was a good kick. But your uncultured masters taught you little in terms of true combat.” Her blonde hair bounced in the air as the sweet tone of her voice carried. Extending her arm outwards the pink parasol expands above her head as her power took effect and she hung in the air. Her fingers twirled as the red ki threads became brighter and bolder. “For example to think that a Cardinal of Culture would allow herself to be touched by the likes of you is beyond amusing.” The smile never once left her face as she suddenly pulled to the right on the threads. If still connected Celeh would fly through the air shortly before be, whipped into the air and then slammed into the ground. All of this was being orchestrated by Iun as if she was a puppet master and Celeh her put.

Celeh's first move had been to test the waters, nothing more. She didn't intend a follow-up attack or even to use any of her techniques at first. That kick was like sticking her toes in the water. And she got exactly what she desired out of the ordeal. A technique like this puppetry energy thread technique that this girl used was not a common technique. For an experienced soldier like Celeh, it was easy to make the assumption that this would be her primary form of combat. She was strong, and this technique was nothing to scoff at, but she'd already pulled at least ONE of her aces on the first move of the battle. Celeh just smiled despite being whipped around. She let her body go limp at first, to give the other female a sense of making her feel powerless against the strings, but as her body was flung toward the ground, Celeh would shift her hips and arch her back so that she could plant her palms on the ground and catch herself, cushioning the blow greatly. Meanwhile she continued that downward momentum and tried to use Iun's threads against her, kicking as strong as she could with that tangled leg and meaning to pull Iun off the ground and toss her away, or at least catch her off guard.
"The amusing part is that you'd pull out one of your aces on the first attack in a fight." She smirked and followed her attempted fling of the girl using her own energy threads with a barrage of several ki blasts just to try and keep her off balance still. Celeh didn't pull anything fancy yet. She was simply wanting to see what this girl had to offer and then plan accordingly. With their powers being so close, Celeh actually felt like she had a little breathing room. Either this girl was very foolish and bold, or very inexperienced to have used such a strong technique at the start of a fight. The only part about the technique that Celeh didn't know for sure was...how much of the thread could the girl use at once? She would clench her fists either way, trying to get feeling back in them after slamming the ground so firmly.
