An air of uncertainty held tightly in the air as M1Y1 walked about the hallways; more of pacing really, something felt strange with its mind something which it had not fully experienced with full strength until earlier in the week. Questions had been building up in its mind for quite sometime yet every single time such question popped in its mind M1Y1 quickly shoved them back into the recesses of its thoughts, to much had been going on as of late with the invasion of Earth in the coming to find a spare moment to focus on such things... but it was mostly because it was unsure on how to acclimate to such new ways of thinking. Unlike those which could be solved with simple equations these ideas were on a much deeper level that science could give quick suggestions towards but not fix; they were... they were... organic... in nature. M1Y1 always thought that its composite brain would harbor some lingering parts of the past, still clinging on to such things as emotions and memories of a phantom life but nothing like it was experiencing. With the link to an organic life being the only real connection M1Y1 ever had it was a difficult process to go through, let alone fully understand what it was that was happening to itself... M1Y1 never wished to admit it but help was needed, not from faceless beings behind a screen but something physical, someone trusted, the only issues was how could M1Y1 talk to Akassa in such a fashion?
For over a few months the confusing ideas had popped into its mind, and with a full schedule already on its shoulder no such free time could be accumulated in order to pay any attention to the matter which unfortunately was the root of the problem it faced now, after all the time the waste yard which held the passed off thoughts began to over flow as it escaped into the rest of M1Y1's files; once but a small annoyance that was easy to cast to the side was now a trembling volcano which erupted every so often leaving M1Y1 in a child like- almost dependent state, though with no one around M1Y1 would just sit huddled over in a corner till its processors were able to fully restart. Often M1Y1 had simply tried to rid the thoughts from its mind completely like any corrupt file or old data but these were not the same as simple data, lingering in the organic side of its mind they could not be deleted or removed from its mind with a click of a button. Having read articles displayed through the web of the internet M1Y1 learned quickly that fleshy beings often need to "talk" out issues... "talk" them out... such a thought was not a thrilling idea. It wasn't the fact that M1Y1 had terrible speaking skills but that it would need to talk to someone about what was going on... TALK! How was it supposed to do that? The only one it knew of and didn't automatically hate was Akassa and talking to her in such a manner-
Heavy breathing filled the air of the hallway as M1Y1 pressed its hands against the nearby wall to support itself, new emotions filled its body leaving it with a strange sensation that felt as thought the whole world was coming to a close and M1Y1 along with it. M1Y1 had seen this online while scouring for information that might provide useful aid to avoid any vocal means with Akassa; a panic attack, is what M1Y1 recalled about it, reading the words alone where nothing in compassion to actual experience of it all. Taking a few minutes M1Y1 did its best to clear its thoughts and focus on slowing its breath, though air was entirely necessary for its existence to continue with it did keep the organic half of its brain alive, it had thought of just killing that half of its brain off to avoid this problem but finding a new host would prove difficult here on the moon.
Once recovering from the shock that filled its body M1Y1 pushed away from the walls face and regained it posture, there wasn't any idea just how long between the next would or even if there would be a next one... something needed to be done about this... and M1Y1 wasn't quite sure just how it was going to deal with it. With a hefty sigh M1Y1 took the flight of stairs nearby up to the Queen's chambers, if Akassa had a free moment she would either be there or out training, though M1Y1 wished for the prior, it didn't wish for others to be around while it was in this crumbling state.
Arriving at the large doors to the chambers M1Y1 paused for a moment, pacing back and forth at the front of the door M1Y1 made a few attempts to walk down the stairs in retreat but only to find itself at the doorway once again. M1Y1 had never thought of itself as weak before, maybe below its standards of performance but nothing like it was feeling at the moment, the smallest thing to ever exist in the universe before. Raising a wobbly hand M1Y1 paused for one final moment to take a long breath before its petite hand tapped on the door three times, waiting for a moment further M1Y1 spoke.
M1Y1... Speak to you?
One might not have called M1Y1's voice weak, perhaps quite or soft but as the words left its mouth they lacked a certain strength which they usually didn't leaving it with a deeper unraveling feeling but if it did nothing right now the issue would continue to worsen till... till what? M1Y1 hadn't thought much on the "What if's" of the situation, its plan had been talked to Akassa and hope that something would work out to resolve the issues... but what if it didn't?

In her personal quarters was where Akassa often found her only peace and quiet in a given day. The morning provided the most time alone, everyone in the palace, General Toa and Nasu included, knowing not to bother her. It was not that she was in a foul mood, but she had a certain sequence that she followed to prepare herself for the day. Bathing and prepping herself before stepping out into the public eye, her morning routine was the most feminine part about the warrior Queen.
Having just finished dressing the half-saiyan, was working on her hair. Looking at herself in the mirror she saw more than just the hairs she was attempting to pin up and clip down. Her own reflection was that of the most powerful individual on New Vegeta, perhaps in the Universe as she had yet to come across a true equal. Sure Conri and Ezekiel were close, but she still out classed them. Not even her own brother was equal to her own power and he never would be. One of the goals of her heavy training sessions was to maintain that lead over all of them, allies of course, but never to rival their Queen.
It was not because of a lack of love for them, for deep down Akassa cared for those she held closest. To her they were the closest she was ever going to come to in terms of a family. Nasu was blood, brother and comrade. Toa and M1Y1 were not tied to her genetically, yet over the recent months she had seen the loyalty both exhibited, such trust in her having been shown by few in her life. Not even her own blood had treated her with such respect, their attitudes towards her as a Queen and woman in general not taken lightly. Those three above all else were allowed privileges when it came to interacting with her, that was why when the knock came it did not frustrate her.
For what the girl had come to discuss, Akassa had no idea. Without even turning to look towards the closed door she responds.
”You may.” The simple statement giving the alien permission to enter her quarters. Tucking the last bits of raven hair behind her ear, the Queen spins on the stool before her vanity to lay her eyes on the girl as she entered. M1 was not really the kind for casual talk and usually only came by when there was business to discuss, yet her tone seemed less…confident than it normally was. A purpose driven creature she seemed to always speak with as few words as possible to get her point across. This morning she had almost seemed to hesitate, as if unsure of what it was she was going to say until the words rolled off her tongue. Right leg crossing over her left, she leans forward a little, taking a relaxed stance as she awaits whatever it is the alien wanted to discuss.

Waiting for things to happen had never been a strong point for M1Y1, without the need for sleep or other luxuries that came with having an organic structure every second was noticed, and every second that M1Y1 wasn't doing anything was well noted and recorded. Standing before the door way the strange mixture of confusion, anxiety and utter fear loomed in its chest; still being new with all of these emotions M1Y1 was finding it difficult to keep as calm as it currently was on the outside... at least as it hoped it appeared to be. While thinking M1Y1 appeared as it normally did; blank face, calm and cool demeanor, it was actually far much different than what it thought. Eyes slightly sunken in, hair a mess with strands sticking out in various places and a occasional twitch from its fingers, though still in working condition M1Y1 was no where near where its normal standards held place and it was clearly apparent to those that would look upon the machine. It wasn't helping that every second was counted between its knocking and its response from Akassa, thoughts of leaving and waiting bounced around its mind like a super ball fired from a shotgun while coasting at light speed. Only when Akassa called out through the wooden frame did M1Y1 flinch slightly, it knew that Akassa was going to call out to it... M1Y1 knew yet it still jumped at the arrival of her voice.
Closing its eyes M1Y1 took a long slow breath as it tired to find some from of focus, anything to keep it from falling apart on the spot, while it did have concerns of its nature at the moment it could not show weakness in front of the Queen... a task that was proving to be more difficult with every passing second. Abandoning any hope of finding a solid footing M1Y1 pressed forward as it slowly opened the door just enough so that it could slip in; shutting the door behind it M1Y1 turned to face Akassa. In the state it was in M1Y1 could not bring itself to gaze into Akassa's eyes rather they glanced at the floor right before the Queen's feet. M1Y1 knew all to well of Akassa's keen insight so if she hadn't figured out that something was wrong with M1Y1 yet she would have shortly.
Hello... Er... M1Y1 means....
M1Y1 tried to form the words but it was unsure of just how to get around to the point of what it had come here for in the first place. M1Y1 had never thought of itself as stupid before, far from it in fact but it was like a adolescent trying to talk to their crush, difficult and heavily embarrassing. M1Y1 was sure that Akassa wasn't very trilled about having M1Y1 show up at her chambers so early in the morning but given their two schedules it was the only time when Akassa had a free moment between her training and political workings. Feeling uneasy on its feet M1Y1 glanced over to a nearby chair, at least what appeared to be one, with all the frills and laces it was hard to make out the actual chair portion of the structure.
M1Y1 sit?
M1Y1 pointed over to the chair with the question in the air, it would be understandable if the Queen wished for all to strand in her presence but M1Y1 wasn't sure that the chaotic thoughts in its mind would allow for such a thing for much longer. Whether or not Akassa would allow for such a comfort M1Y1 kept its eyes to the floor as it tried to think of what it was that it could say in such a situation; emotions where one hell of a ride and it wasn't sure exactly what to feel and why it was that it felt in such a manner. With the pause growing in length M1Y1 decided to just be blunt, there was no point in drawing things out loner than it need be and as much as M1Y1 hated to say it-
M1Y1 needs help.
Akassa, help? Standing before the Queen M1Y1 felt what it could call a sense of shame, from what it had read it was the closets thing to shame that it could have compared it too. Fragile like glass M1Y1 waited in silence, its weak appeared almost seeming like it would fall to pieces on a moments notice. In the past M1Y1 never thought such things would ever leave its lips but having exhausted every resource it knew of to tackled problems it saw no other place to turn to than Akassa... something it wished it didn't have to; not for the reason that M1Y1 didn't value Akassa but because M1Y1 never wanted Akassa to see such weakness in its ally. M1Y1 held tightly to its independence, being able to tackle tasks under its own accord without aid from another... it had never taken aid before had it? The alliance between the two of them was a mutual point where both sides took part in an equal trade... but this was giving itself to another in seeking assistance.

M1Y1’s body language was all off, the direct and confident girl seeming almost at a loss with what to do with herself. The way she walked, the way her eyes dipped to the ground all spelt out that something was not sitting right with her. Honestly, it was one of the few times the alien had seemed human, matching the outward appearance she tended to favor. If it had been anyone else being so…timid, and hesitant to talk she would have already been standing with her arms crossed over her chest. Something seemed off though about the alien girl…the Queen not exactly sure what it might be. A trusted ally, even if not one close on a personal level, M1Y1 was one of the few privies to the Queen’s council. Beyond her trusted three, others often had to wait at the very least hours to speak with her.
When she asks to take a seat, Akassa casually motions with her hand that she may, watching as the small girl almost sulks over to take a seat. Sinking into the plush chair, much like Akassa often did when sitting in it, the piece of furniture was designed to hold Saiyan males, their stature usually towering over that of the Queens in the same way her power towered over theirs. Even as she sat M1, said nothing, her eyes remaining on the floor before her. Still the Queen was patient, not understanding the alien enough to read her properly. Was she growing concerned with the systems that she was supposed to monitor or had soldiers been giving her problems? No…it must have been something deeper than that, she wouldn’t have contact Akassa through an easier mean of communication to simply file a complaint.
When M1 finally spoke again, the usually controlled Queen could not prevent her eyebrow from lifting. Help? She had never asked for help before, not like this. Plenty of requests had come in for access to other databases or more materials that she might need, but those were exactly that, requests. Using the word help implied something more, almost on a personal level from the tone the girl used. Having seemed hesitant to even ask in the first place, Akassa quickly let her brow drop, smile spreading across her lips. She didn’t want the girl to feel more awkward than she was already. Letting out an audible sigh she leans forward some, hands resting on the knee she had arched over the other.
”Of course I can help you M1, what is it you need?” It was almost foreign for her to be so casual about things with the alien. Their exchanges had been professional up until now, business and technological advancement their only topics. Yet, Akassa had promised M1 like her other allies, that she would do all she could to assist and protect them if need be. Despite her power and influence, the Queen was aware that unique allies like M1, Nasu and Toa deserved more than the average soldier. They had been told they would reap the rewards of being loyal to the young Queen and Akassa meant it. So whatever the girl needed…she would do her best to assist her with it.

There was a small comfort to be found with Akassa granting M1Y1 a seat with a simple wave of her arm; with an off balanced walk M1Y1 managed to pull itself into the over sized chair for its body size. M1Y1 was naturally gifted with an innate ability to alter its physical state however it found the chair itself to be far larger than what was called for. M1Y1's form hardly changed from day to day, even its clothes hadn't been replaced let alone washed since they were first given to M1Y1 as a gift from Akassa; it was more of a way to keep the female appearance of M1Y1 out of sight form leering eyes. The concept of clothes was a difficult one at first for M1Y1 to grasp at but over time it accepted it as a social normal however keeping the clothes washed and well maintained was not something which M1Y1 was readily doing. Its raggedy worn clothes coupled with its unraveled appearance gave M1Y1 an over all dilapidated gloom. Days before had seen better moments for the cybernetic figure, it was only a few days ago where the issues within its mind had been little less than voices in the back of its mind but now like a waves they eroded the walls in between the sectioned pieces of its mind.
Once in the chair M1Y1 kept as still as it could have but the occasional twitches from it limbs made the process all the more troublesome than it would have normally had; given that M1Y1 often stood like a statue for days back to back this was indeed a personal annoyance to itself. Trying its best to keep focus M1Y1 locked its eyes onto Akassa's waist line, at least this would appear as though its full attention was place on her without actually gazing directly into the woman's eyes. Steadying its body M1Y1... spoke, its concerns... or at least it tired to; M1Y1 never found itself to refined when it came to the finer elements of vocalization, words... words were difficult yet its thoughts could speak so much louder- if only its thoughts weren't in zero's and one's. Maya was sure that what it had said just made the whole event all the more confusing than it should have been in the first place, from the risen eye brow from the Queen it was apparent of such confusion. Of all people- or in this case, beings; M1Y1 was the least likely to seek aid beyond what its personal means could suffice, but self sufficient as it was looking towards another for assistance in a matter which it had no expertise in hurt M1Y1 mentally, the image of a independent figure shattered like shards of a mirror. Would it no longer be able to hold its head up alone? Would it find itself with someone constantly at its side to provide aid when needed?... M1Y1 hoped not, but nothing in the future would matter if the issues that plagued it were not shackled together and left to drown in the sea.
Responding back to M1Y1 it was unsure how to address what had been asked of it; how was it one could say they were fucked up in the head, without being set aside as an ally? M1Y1 felt as though it stood on a high wire while a pit of lava brewed below, one small slip and it might as well been dead. Things felt tense inside M1Y1's mind and its body fared little better, once again M1Y1 could feel its breath rate accelerate past normal levels and the effect was cleary visibly from the puffing of its chest. There needed to be a delicate way to word what it was that had happened within its mind... words were once again the issues here... it could have always use its eyes to generate its thoughts, but it wasn't the same. A personal touch was needed here, something which could not be done through flashing text on a false screen.
Biting down on its lower lip M1Y1's eyes swayed from side to side as if the answer could be seen around the room but it knew better than that; at this point it was just stalling for time but what good would come from it? A direct approach was needed here, just not because M1Y1 was dealing with Kass but if this strange bond which clung to its mind was to ever be fixed then a large step had to be taken on its behalf.
M1Y1 has... Thoughts... Feelings? M1Y1 doesn't... understand. Blocking thoughts.... How does one... should one feel? What... is it like to live?
Its ever fragile voice spoke out; the questions might have seemed strange to someone like Akassa, but to a being like M1Y1, whose nature was not of a biological sense and who came from parts still unknown it seemed like a very genuine question one of which M1Y1 hoped that Akassa could shed some light on. M1Y1 understood more about the worlds it had visited, the people it had come across than it knew of itself; the one closest to itself was the one that had been pushed furthest away from it. M1Y1 saw Akassa as the only one which it could turn to, only one which any trust had been formed and now it was hoping to see something come from it.

Even seated M1Y1 looked uncomfortable. In her own chair the Queen did not shift her attention from the girl, not boring into her with a stern stare, but making it quite clear the royal's focus was upon her. While not exactly understanding what had the alien so disheveled Akassa found the way she kept looking down borderline disappointing. As one of her allies M1 was allowed to be confused or seek guidance, everyone was in such a state at some point or another yet the way she continued to avoid direct eye contact showed a lack of confidence. Those with positions in her court were not allowed to show such weakness, thankfully this was all in private. It made the Queen wonder though, how long had she been like this before coming to her? Hopefully the girls current state wasn't something she had inadvertently advertised to others.
Doing her best to be understanding, nurturing and listening not always her best traits, Akassa waits for the girl to speak again. When she finally sorts out her own thoughts and does so, the question presented was not one with an easy answer. Feelings and thoughts, both vast categories when spoken about in the manner M1Y1 was. Far from a thoughtless creature as far as Akassa could tell, the girl had never seemed to struggle with itself before. Always setting to task and mission with machine like purpose the newest of her entourage always seems sure of its decisions. Yet, emotions and feelings never seemed a part of the equation. In all honesty the Queen had thought M1 more machine than anything, her ability to sync up with machines and wires hinting at a non organic makeup. Perhaps it was a mixture of both, Akassa was unsure.
Taking a moment the half-saiyan then looks to address one problem before the other. With M1Y1 looking down towards her waist, Akassa's remaining arm lifts from her leg, hand motioning for the girl to look up.
"Look at me M1." The words unintentionally coming out firm, a command more than a suggestion. When the girl had lifted her eyes and only then would Akassa continue. "First things first, collect yourself. Regardless of these thoughts or emotions that trouble you, rise above them and speak to me with confidence, not like some spineless human girl. Second I will ask you to elaborate on your questions. What you ask is too broad, life cannot be summed up into a verbal answer, not everything translates into tangible data M1Y1. Now, what thoughts and emotions are troubling you?" Again her tone might have been more authoritative than nurturing, but that is how she had been raised. The daughter of a warrior king, there had been little time for coddling and babying, the then Princess treated as if an adult from a young age.
A better explanation requested Akassa sits up a bit straighter, a bit less casual of a position considering whatever this discussion was leading towards was truly bothering M1. The Queen rarely entertained such notions from anyone and had for a moment thought about dismissing the whole thing. Yet, where else would the girl alien to New Vegeta turn? From the moment she had arrived Akassa had been her main contact, her unique abilities and knowledge quickly put to use for the kingdom. Deep down it was more than that of course, Akassa not even fully realizing the attachment that was growing between her and a select few. Subconsciously she yearned for a family like the one she never had within the palace, those that relied on her and who she relied on in turn. A desire, if ever even realized, the proud woman would probably never admit.

The silence in the air grew stale with Akassa trying to address the question that had been raised by M1Y1. The ordeal so far was proving more of a hassle that it wished for or had even contemplated but there was no turning back regardless of how...uncomforting it was making the alien; if there a point which M1Y1 could have retreated it already passed with M1Y1 entering the room, M1Y1 was in this for the long run now. Its own thoughts began to wander about its mind like a uncaged zoo, havoc was unleashed in every conceivable portion of its head though M1Y1 did its best to keep Akassa from knowing the true depths of what was really going on inside. For the most part M1Y1 felt as broken as its outsides represented to the rest of the world, trying to find anything to occupy its mind its slender arm took a hold of its forearm, though it was a small distraction to bring any sort of comfort it did the trick just enough to keep it from decaying any more that its present state could.
Speaking through the wall of absence that had been growing between them M1Y1 flinched backwards into the chair slightly, it knew the words would soon approach yet its wandering mind had made it all to easy to caught it off guard from its usual high alert self. Pausing for a moment M1Y1 contemplated what it was that Akassa asked of it; so far it had kept its eyes away from the Queen. M1Y1 saw no worth in itself at the current moment, how could it look upon the face that counted on it for so much, not only was it letting itself down it was letting Akassa down.... Thinking for a short time its eyes slowly lifted from Akassa's waist, trailing up the woman's upper body till they matched with the levels of Akassa; M1Y1 wasn't about to disobey something that Akassa had asked for it but it felt as though it could fall apart from the woman's gaze alone. Akassa had a way about her, while even if her heart meant well the tone and words she used often implied a force of command behind them, seeming more than a order than a simple request; with its shaken mind M1Y1 couldn't tell where it was that Akassa stood when it came to her opinion on M1Y1's current state.
Listening M1Y1 watched nervously at Akassa, while it had not expect any coddling nature the words she spoken seemed harsh... though M1Y1 was unsure of what was really called for in this type of situation, Akassa was after all the living being and not a metallic entity whose own form was taken from another. Nodding its head slowly M1Y1 tried to take any lingering strength and willpower to control its body but having been restraining these thoughts back for so long it proved to be a up hill fight with no legs to carry itself. Before this, all of what was happening to it reclaiming its former self would have been as simple as a flick of a switch, its appearance would change and all would seem well but now it appeared that even its shaping abilities were off point; whatever these emotions were doing was on a deeper level than just a psychological state.
M1Y1... Joy? Sadness? M1Y1... doesn't understand.... Why... what are they? How... To experience them?
What is wrong... What is right?
M1Y1... Isn't living... like Akassa.... These... are new... Overwhelm M1Y1... Cannot... compute... What isn't known.... How... does one live... When one... isn't alive?
Shaking its upper body slight M1Y1 pressed its feet onto the floor once more, using the arm rests of the chair it managed to push itself away from the cushioned structure. Still having issues with balance M1Y1 was having some difficulties with stand but taking small steps it soon found itself standing before the Queen. Reaching down slowly M1Y1 gently took a hold of Akassa's hand with its slender fingers guiding her hand forward M1Y1 placed it on its chest right above where its heart should have been; there was nothing, no beat, so signs of life but M1Y1's blinking eyes as they looked down from above at Akassa, only but sadness could be seen in them.
M1Y1 isn't alive... Its mind is... What is M1Y1?

When eye contact was made and held, Akassa let her stern expression soften. With no intentions of intimidating or forcing the girl to do anything, natural commanding tone aside, she was pleased to see M1 having enough courage to look her in the eye. This whole interaction was as strange as it was unexpected. The robot like girl had never exhibited anything like the emotions she was showing now, at least not in the Queen's presence. Then again, perhaps that was the truth of it. So many acted different when around her, putting on a show so that she was pleased. While she understood it, she also thought it cowardly. Be yourself and present yourself accordingly she believed, of course she didn't have to deal with someone stronger and often temperamental like those that addressed her were working with.
More questions came, each one not really having an answer that was easy to quantify. Sure explaining the definitions of the words was easy, definitions the alien most likely already knew, but describing the feeling was something impossible. As for being alive...that was also no simple answer. There were many forms of life in the Universe, what designated a living creature not a one word answer. Normally such questions would have the Queen rolling her eyes, she was no philosopher, yet how visibly shaken her ally was forced the Queen to not so easily brush them off. When M1 stood it was clearly visible that she was overwhelmed, physically suffering from the anxiety and unease within her.
Thin, shaking legs carried the alien girl the short distance to Akassa, the half-saiyan unsure why she was approaching. Not the biggest fan of being touched out of combat, M1 might notice the ever so slight furrowing of the Queen's brow as she took her hand. Those within Akassa's circle of trust were truly awarded privileges others were not. Arm lifted, she does not resist the pull as M1 places her palm against her upper chest. There was indeed no heartbeat, no thumping in her chest that you would feel when doing the same to most of the living Universe. Yet, the absence of a heart did not mean she was not alive. No scientist, Akassa would not be able to approach the topic from a biological standpoint, but she felt her simpler explanation was just as accurate.
"Joy, sadness, all emotions are felt differently between different individuals. There is no how or why. Right now you feel unease, anxiousness do you not? Nothing tells you to feel them, you just do. Such emotion is proof that you are alive M1, a mind and a consciousness is what defines life, not a heart. You must learn to use them to your advantage when you can and work through them when you cannot. Do you find pleasure in the work you do here, a purpose? That is joy. Do not try and define them all M1, experience them." Removing her hand from the girls chest, Akassa slides it to her shoulder before gripping it, a gesture she had done in the past with her youngest brother Leke.
"As for what M1Y1 is. You are a trusted ally, reliable resource and ultimately whatever you chose to be. I cannot decide that for you, nor can anyone else. The real question is what does M1Y1 want to be?" The Queen's hand remained on the girls shoulder, brown eyes fixed on her silver ones.

Once again the silence built between the two of them, Akassa sat in her chair while her hand pressed against M1Y1's chest; it had been done as proof that the entity that stood before her was not like the Queen herself was, there was no heart to be found within it. Head bent over at an angle Maya looked into the eyes of Akassa, they awaited a answer, anything to cool the flames of curiosity and confusion that ignited within its mind. For so long its thoughts had been trapped within its head with no outlet and now standing before the gates of knowledge the boggling voices felt as though they would explode, sending its mind into thousands of shards. M1Y1 knew if it did have a heart it would have erupted from its chest by now, though it held no organs compared to ones of organics M1Y1's chest rose and fell with an elevated rate; panic would be soon to set in but then Akassa spoke.
Breaking words M1Y1 watched without interruption from its side, everything that came from Akassa's voice at the moment were as if the gods were speaking to M1Y1 nothing was to be missed from a mind that sought comfort... a purpose, something ease its thoughts. Her words... meant a lot... at least M1Y1 thought they did; the answer wasn't a straight forward one but a puzzle, there was no one answer to suffice its internal suffering nor would their ever be... some where deep down inside M1Y1 knew that... yet it yearned for one. Dropping its shoulder slightly at Akassa's words M1Y1 felt... better was not the word, but something had come from it, at least now it knew the direction in which it must head; guide lines had been traced before M1Y1 and while they wouldn't provide it with the answers it longed for it would show M1Y1 the way... it was a start... so much still lingered however. A patch, a simple mend had been placed on its mind, while it would not hold forever it was enough for some clairvoyance through its crowded mind.
Experience...
M1Y1 repeated the choice word from Akassa's speech.
For as long as M1Y1 had been awoken it saw new sights, new people, things it could have never imagined existed until its eyes fell upon them; experience was something that was familiar to it, yet how much did it need to "experience"; there was no one answer, there was no one sight that could answer all, was there a certain pattern that needed to be followed or... was it just natural... whatever came first would not matter as long as it was experienced? M1Y1 couldn't help but think more questions were brought from this than were actually solved... often at time it wondered if other machines had such issues or if it was just M1Y1, after all it was unlike the rest of its kin, machine yet it relied on a organic component to function; maybe if it found another like itself it would understand more of its true nature.
Mind a flutter with its own ideas M1Y1 didn't take notice of Akassa's hand till it planted firmly on its shoulder, gasping slightly its eyes moved to where Akassa now took a grip of M1Y1. Confusion came from the gesture, never before had it seen this... maybe it was another experience it needed to go through... always something new to see here in the palace. M1Y1 did not speak at the touch, Akassa was the only one M1Y1 actually held trust for and it had become confidant in the woman capabilities, not just as a leader but someone to seek guidance from; after all, she must have done something right to gain her place as Queen.
M1Y1... want to be? ...
M1Y1 had never given much thought as to what it "wanted", always in times before it at searched for information even though it was sure as to why it did; for that reason and that reason alone it had found itself on the moon in the first place... it had never thought that a-... that a home... would be here for it.
Gazing into the Queen's eyes M1Y1 wished it could look away from her, it had never felt so weak before let alone standing in front of the Queen in such a manner but it might only anger Akassa if M1Y1 did so. The woman was a hard one to read and not just from the bystander than knew little of facial expressions, anger was easy to detect but M1Y1 was unsure as to what might set the woman off... and given the assistance it needed it wasn't about to upset the woman if it was possible to avoid it.
M1Y1... does not... does not know...
Before here... M1Y1 searched... Knowledge... But... M1Y1 never knew...
M1Y1... didn't have a purpose...
Akassa gave... M1Y1 purpose?
Locking eyes M1Y1's body froze for a moment with its eyes growing wide. It wasn't until it had met Akassa that any value had come from its existence, it was but a lone traveler searching for reasons it knew nothing of but now... it had a home, a world which it defended and someone who relied on it....
M1Y1... M1Y1 knows...
M1Y1 wants... to be by Akassa.... Help her... As she helped... Me....
Eyes closing M1Y1 leaned its head to one side letting its cheek rub against Akassa's hand; slowly M1Y1 could feel the sounds within it head begin to die down, though they weren't gone completely it could once again think clearly; for once it had peace.

M1Y1's confusion wasn't exactly frustrating, yet Akassa had never really been good at talking things out. Sure she could give advice like she was doing now, but she had never been that older sister you could go to for help or a soft smile. So focused on all her military training and trying to impress those around her she had never really developed relationships beyond the battlefield. Even her own family had been tied to her through the blood they share above anything else, love not exactly part of the Saiyan equation. Respect and acceptance were of course a form of love, but she had never been taught that, realized that is what she was looking for from her father above all else. Her entry in the Galactic Tournament had been to earn that respect that love and while it had altered her relationship with Ninjin, it had only been a disappointment to her father.
For a moment the thoughts that M1 caused to stir within the Queen pushed her towards anger, the only emotion she had even known to really utilize when reacting to a situation. Really it was the easiest. Even a child could react in anger and throw a tantrum when they didn't know any other way. Her rage was not exactly a tantrum, but combined with the strength it summoned up inside of her, it was a way she had been able to earn respect. Once when she was but a child, her halfblooded nature always a focus point of other soldiers, she had used that anger to beat one of them to a pulp. That did not stop the talk of her illegitimate birth, but it had reduced it to whispers she could not hear and caused those to move aside as she passed. Going forward, her anger and passion for fighting had always been the appropriate reaction…but not today.
Eyes locked with those of the alien girl before Akassa was exercising her patients, letting the girl sort out her words. As intelligent as M1 was it was becoming obvious she was not all knowing, her strange genetic making her smarter than no most but nowhere near omnipotent. When she asked if Akassa had given her purpose, the Queen said not a word, only smiled as the smaller girls eyes grew wide. It was a realization to both of them really, Akassa not knowing about her past, but fully aware she had early on begun assigning tasks to the girl. While M1 did not control her reaction to the realization Akassa did. Behind the mask she so often wore though, the Queen was pleased by the girl's words. To work for her was one thing, the loyalty a paycheck earned often a fleeting one, yet working alongside Akassa was something very different.
Nasu stay with her because he believed in her, trusted her for what she had done in response to the truth of their father's crime and no doubt because of the blood they shared. General Toa saw in her the leader she could be, what her power could do for the people of New Vegeta and the Saiyan people as a whole. Now M1Y1 felt the same, her place in the Universe at the Super Saiyan's side…although her situation seemed closer to that of Nasu's than Toa's.
The sudden nuzzling of her cheek along the Queen's hand admittedly caught Akassa off guard. Not much for displays of affection, she tenses for an instant before relaxing. She was not familiar with the, but she understood. Again the basis for her knowledge was set in her younger years, watching as Ninjin hugged and nuzzled against Natisha's cheek. Such gestures had never been show to Akassa, but that did not mean she would chastise M1 for one…at least not in private, something like that would not be acceptable in public. As awkward as it felt, Akassa turns her hand to cup the girl's cheek gently, offering another smile along with the gesture before pulling her hand away. The Queen also did not miss that the girl had not referred to herself in the third person.
"I am glad that is your choice. I told you when we first met that if you are loyal I will show you the same loyalty in return. Now, are you alright?" Her voice was no longer stern, but almost sisterly even if it was somewhat forced. Even with Nasu she had to remind herself to ditch the commanding tone, yet she was learning to address him more casually over time. As emotionally dense as she could be though, Akassa could not deny the apparent gratitude M1 had shown.

Standing there at the Queen's side M1Y1 could tell that the situation that it was placed in M1Y1 was not alone with an complex of ranging thoughts and emotions that weren't quite understood. A flash, coping to stall with ones quelling anger; the two held quite different perspectives when it came down to understanding the universe around then and handling with it. Logic, it was how M1Y1 viewed the world, trying to calculate chances and finding trust in numbers rather than what one heart might; Akassa, she was head strong and with the power to back up whatever the eternal flames that beat inside her heart. Though it had not spent many countless hours around the Queen, M1Y1 sensed that while Akassa meant well her general quick paced and all to often brunt personality was trying at her patience but sloving the mysteries that had plauged its mind was not something that could come so quickly even with the swiftness of its composite mind.
In a way M1Y1 felt... sad for her, not for the Queen but the person behind the crown. The life she had ventured through had never been an easy one; from all the personal files and footage it had viewed Akassa's history was a lengthy one filled with struggle and acceptance for the young girl was difficult to attain. It came to no shocked to see how Akassa had learned to deal with her issues, lock them away and let them fester over time or use her fists to take care of any standing threat... it could not have been easy to find so little acceptance in a hierarchy so feared and strained. Bastard children, a step mother which berated her constantly and someone that had long gone missing from her life; so much had been deprived from the girl at a young age... but even with everyone against her Akassa had climbed the mountain, seen the stars and taken their strength as her own. The pain... it alone must have been unbearable for one as young as she had been... and yet, here she was, giving comfort in another which she held no blood ties to, other than their union the Queen had no real cause to provide such means but she did.
As if the universe seemed to aline for a moment M1Y1 knew what its purpose was, the force which would drive its hand to create or destroy; Akassa. Eyes connecting with one another M1Y1 took notice of the Queen's grinning face at her proposal, all the gesture that was need for it to understand. M1Y1 knew not if Akassa simply agreed because she would never turn away viable help, or if there was a deeper meaning behind it... organic minds were much to difficult for M1Y1 to fully interpret but it was good to know its words were not turned away like the changing of the tides. No longer would countless hours go by where it did not long for a purpose that was greater than itself would ever be, now it had one, one in which every coming day would provide something which benefited someone that had give it more than it could have thought possible.
Twisting her wrist about M1Y1 was just as surprised as Akassa had been when M1Y1 had nuzzled against her hand but made no reaction that would give away the shock... it simply enjoy the seconds that passed before she slipped away; there was a strange longing for more but M1Y1 did not raise thought and speak of such a thing, to much had just happened and still its problems did linger in the back ground of its mind; for now it would think of the matters that had come and find results of its own.
...Yes... Much more is... Is needed... But I am... I am fine.
In truth M1Y1 felt much better than it had in the previous days but there was still much more work to be done before it would ever consider itself back to one hundred percent, it was a start however. Pausing for a moment M1Y1's eyes glanced at the ground as it was deep thought of something it had come across a while back, being the person that M1Y1 was it sought to understand the meaning of its own accord but as of late it had come to understand that not everything could be done by just one person.
Akassa.... I... I came across something... I tired to understand... But not everything... Can be done alone.
Eyes glowing a deep shade of purple the holo projector within its mind began to run, showing a blank screen for a moment before a picture would being to fill the screen. It was a young woman not many years in age above Akassa as she was now, stunning in looks even in her weakened state, blond hair rolled down her rosy cheeks, flushed with blood, her pools of blue eyes sparkled with tears. Resting quietly in the woman's arms was a infant, a new born, its bright blue eyes glancing up towards the one that held the child, her curly hair match that of the woman. Up to this point M1Y1 had come to understand the bedding she rested in was of a medical nature found in a hospital; sadly this was about as far as M1Y1's reach could extend on the context of the picture. M1Y1 let the image rest there in front of the Queen for a little before M1Y1 broke words.
I came across this... Why does she cry so?
Long ago M1Y1 had worked out on its own that the child was indeed Akassa, the similarities between the child and the woman that sat before M1Y1 were undeniable; the woman could only be one person, though where she was now left only grim thoughts. M1Y1 was unsure as to how the Queen would react to being shown such a thing or if she would even recognize the woman in the picture, never before had M1Y1 seen the woman's image in the palace or anyone mention her; was she long forgotten or just pushed from thought?

Still smiling some Akassa was pleased that M1 was more at ease. While her strange speech pattern did not change, the halted phrases she spoke in where odd even if they were relatively clear. No longer shaking or struggling to find her words the alien girl seemed much more her normal self. The issue resolved, the Queen figured the two of them were done, the girl to soon returning to her work on enhancing the systems and defenses of New Vegeta. The task had been coming along nicely from all the reports Akassa had received, more complex systems being integrated within the core of the city and its military infrastructure. Before long all would be complete and the city would be better off than it had ever been. M1Y1 was integral in these upgrades, the initial reason she had been kept on as one of the Queen’s allies.
She would not get back to work just yet though, another issue being raised before the Queen had the chance to dismiss her. Cocking her head slightly to the side Akassa lifts a brow at the vague description of what else the girl wanted to talk about. Came across something? The Queen wasn’t much for guessing games, nor did she like to be strung along. Licking her lips she gives a slight nod in response to the words, understanding that the girl was again seeking assistance. That alone showed more trust in the Queen, M1 having relied mostly on herself since her arrival besides the occasional request for supplies or access to another mainframe. To request help twice in one day was unprecedented.
When the alien’s eyes lit up Akassa turns her attention to the hologram. Arms crossing over her chest, the stance she often took out of habit, she watches. The displayed recording was the last thing she expected to see. The child, clearly a new born, was obviously a girl yet beyond that it was hard to distinguish from any other baby. As for the blonde woman that was weeping, the Queen had no idea who she was. Her eyes, features and hair didn’t stand out in the least above any other blonde woman that the half-saiyan had ever seen. The only thing that Akassa was sure of was that the woman was human, the baby most likely human as well even if it did have a lot of hair for a new born. When the frame finally froze, Akassa looked it over a moment longer before looking to M1.
”Perhaps she weeps out of joy, if the child is hers that is. What is the point of this M1Y1? Who are these individuals and what significance do they hold?” Akassa had no idea why the alien girl had shown her this footage. As far as she could tell the people in it were your average lot, a mother and a child in some sort of hospital. She had no idea that she was being shown her own mother and herself as infant, moments before she had been ripped away from the human. If there had been any audio beyond the crying she would maybe have recognized the voice she had heard as a baby, the few words her mother had ever spoken to her buried deep within her sub consciousness.

Try as Akassa might there seemed no breaking away from M1Y1's constant questions, once it had found a good hold getting M1Y1 off its track was something that most would find annoying in over time; knowing of such of thing on its own behalf M1Y1 had thought not to even bring the image to the Queen's attention but being that the Queen herself had been there at the time she might be able to shine some light on dim concept. M1Y1 of course knew so little about organic nature, being as young as she was any memories she had were most likely faded completely by now, little more than dust that was caught up in the torrent of winds of her young life. Having already known the Queen's busy schedule M1Y1 could try and make this as swift as possible, it was selfish of it to tie up the ruling class with simple questions.
Generating the image before Akassa it floated in silence letting her take in all that there was to be seen, up to this point M1Y1 had simply assumed that Akassa knew all there was to know about her mother but quickly it learned of her ignorance of the woman; how much of her mother had been stripped from her mind? At Akassa's words M1Y1 cocked its head to one side unsure if what had been said was heard properly.
"Does she really not know...?"
It was hard to imagine that a woman as powerful as Akassa was, would know so little of herself, even as she stared into the eyes of her infant self, and the woman that had given life to her. M1Y1 had never once brought the subject up about Akassa's mother mostly do to the fact that until late it had never been of any importance and M1Y1 often cared little of others personal lives but in its lust to understand what it found M1Y1 dug through various files in the place to find anything on the woman... and there was hardly anything. Like a chalk board it had been wiped away though streaks of what was once their remained was hardly enough to gather a hand full of information on the person, she was more of a phantom than a living being to M1Y1 at this point.
Joy?
M1Y1 repeated the word; all to often it heard that tears were a sign of sadness, a great pain but never for joy, how could something that brought happiness bring tears? Every time M1Y1 asked a question that involved organics things grew larger in complexity till the point they hardly made sense. How was it that tears could bring both joy and sadness? Shaking its head from one side to the other M1Y1 logged the data to come back to it on another date when its mind wasn't preoccupied with Akassa's apparent mind wipe of her mother.
Apologize Akassa. I thought you knew of her....
Reaching out with her slender arm M1Y1 pointed at the newborn which rested in the woman's arms, letting it settle just above the surface M1Y1 turned till its eyes rested on Akassa's.
That is you...
Dragging its finger towards the woman it paused once more before it spoke again.
And that is your mother.
There was no reason to try and be gentle when informing Akassa of her mother, after all she knew of her in the sense that everyone had one; being blunt was the best course though having seen Akassa's rage filled nature in the past M1Y1 was unsure of how the Queen might react. Others often held family in high regard but with Akassa it was hard to tell, aside from Nasu her family ties were shattered by her own hand; killing her bother, father and step-mother... maybe Nasu would next but one could only hope. Regardless of her reaction M1Y1 wasn't about to leave her side for any reason, Akassa had offered aid when nothing in return had been offered, now it was time for M1Y1 to do the same.

Akassa's mind had not been wiped of the information like the palace systems, but it had never held any information on the woman shown alongside the infant. Nor had the palace been decorated with any pictures of the young Saiyan Princess. Even Ninjin and Leke were rarely photographed, the idea of family albums and pictures a concept Humans found quite appealing was rare on New Vegeta. Even if it hadn't been, Natisha surely would have made sure the eldest bastard of Tsuyo was never showcased, why point out rust on otherwise unblemished armor? The only place Akassa had ever seen her own face was within the mirror housed by the vanity in her own private quarters.
The apology that soon came was accepted with a nod, but the second part of the statement had the Queen casting a skeptical look at M1. Why in the world would she know of this random child? Sure some features, mostly the eyes, seemed familiar yet no name came to mind. Each day Akassa passed numerous guards and servants with countless soldiers serving under her, there was no way she would ever be able to remember every single one. Besides this was the picture of a child, features and face shape often shifted over time. M1 should have known better than to waste her time with this, yet she continued to focus on the picture, her hand even lifting to point at the child.
"That is you...and that is your mother."
The Queen was about to snort at the claim when she for the first time really analyzes the babies features compared to her own. Before she had been comparing it to those she knew, not herself. The eyes, the shape of its nose, ears.... Akassa’s eyes would widen with the realization that M1 spoke the truth. Immediately her eyes shifted to the weeping blonde woman, scanning over her features to take in the details of the human woman that was supposedly her mother. She was no expert at analyzing facial structure but she saw resemblances to the baby...to her. Mouth dropping open slightly, her cheeks grow a little flush, whether it be from anger or shock it would be hard to tell. Eyes darting back and forth between the two the Queen would audibly swallow as her mouth closes.
"Where...where did you find this...are you certain?" Akassa voice, which was always unwavering and often commanding seemed to fluctuate as she asked the questions. It was if the words struggled to pass her lips, the Queen quite literally in a bit of shock at the image displayed before her. M1 had committed to showing her the image, now Akassa expected answers. For the past few years she had been searching for her mother, looking for a woman that no longer drew breath. She had even dreamt of the woman's voice, but never had she seen her. All she knew at this point was her mother's cruel fate and a name, Rebbec Vession. M1 probably didn't fully realize what she had found.
Akassa had always wanted to meet her mother, her natural attraction to the being that had birthed her undeniable. She had never hoped to be impressed as the woman was no doubt weak in terms of power and she never expected the two to grow close. Still, she had wanted to meet her in order to understand more about herself. Natisha and Tsuyo had taken that chance away from her, letting her believe it was a possibility for over two decades. Now M1 showed the remnants of information that used to be in the compounds database. Such footage brought about mixed emotions in the Saiyan Queen, a mixture of happiness, sadness and anger, the reason for her broken speech. M1 walked a dangerous line with such a topic, a line that threatened to induce rage or break Akassa down to tears if M1 strayed misstepped.

It had quickly become apparent to M1Y1 that Akassa knew almost nothing of her mother; from records of the last appearance of the woman it had been a great number of years since the woman's foot steps had graced the marble floors of the palace halls and less since anyone last spoke of her. Unfamiliar with normal standards of memory for organics M1Y1 merely assumed that Akassa; even at such a young age, carried clear memories of her mother. While M1Y1 in its first days of exist could recall every detail that happened to it; the metal coated walls, strange voices that spoke to it, till it fell into the Earth's soil, everything was a crystal clear imagine in its mind but a others with full organic minds did not fall into the same favor with the images of days before. To M1Y1 this was a blessing, being able to recall every second of every day that passed, to relive times from before as if it stood there once again; for others, to see a death of a loved one, or having their heart shattered it could have been considered a curse. M1Y1 embraced it, leaning on its picture prefect memory for its every day tasks.
All that came from Akassa with M1Y1's spoke apology was a simple nod from Akassa, often her body language did most of the speaking for her and M1Y1 was slow to pick up on their meanings; unsure of whether it meant M1Y1 noted the remark and continued onward, given what it was about to reveal there was no real time to analyze Akassa's gestures. Confusion was set on Akassa's face, clearly she was paying attention though she knew not who she looked at; did organics have terrible recall of themselves as their younger selves or had she never seen herself like this? So young, weak and small; M1Y1 knew the instant that its eyes fell upon the information that it was indeed Akassa, the eyes, look of her face, even her tiny ears all resembled the woman as she was now.
Pointing out the individuals in the picture as Akassa and her long lost mother M1Y1 did not speak further, it was sure the Queen would have questions, along with a range of emotions that a person like herself was unsure of how to handle. Casting glances towards Akassa, M1Y1 saw the understanding in her eyes as they grew wide with shock at what had been revealed and of course why would she not have been shocked; all this time she had gone with the knowledge of her mother but never a face to match it towards, now it rested before her, the woman that had been taken away from her all these years.
Facial expressions changing from her norm, Akassa seemed to be grasped in a mixed state; somewhere between anger and awe is where she laid, M1Y1 sensed that maybe it had not been best to show her such a thing but eventually it would have had to been told.
Voice crackling with raised question M1Y1 turned its head to fully view Akassa, never before could M1Y1 recall a point in time where the Queen had shown... shown any crack in her armor... M1Y1 was unsure whether this was a honor or a mishap to see Akassa in such a state; had it been another person there before her they might have taken some type of satisfaction in this but M1Y1 knew nothing of such things, all it saw before her was Akassa, a confused, hurt woman that needed answers, and M1Y1 was more than willing to tell her.
"I am certain. I am well equpied with facial recognition" "I came across them in the simulator. In the after math of containing the breech It was a data packet I found... It was heavily damaged but I repaired it." M1Y1 paused for a moment to let the words sink in, it was unsure how the Queen would react, after all it had been by her order to destroy whatever corrupt data that had be found but in the cross fire many non- corrupted files had been destroyed too; the blame could be directed towards M1Y1 given that it was the one to destroy the files... but it had acted on Akassa's command.
"If Akassa.... If Akassa wishes of me... I can replicate her form...."
Having the ability to change its form into any state which it knew of M1Y1 was more than able to recreate its image into a form that resembled Akassa's mother, though it would not be the woman herself it might be as close to the woman as Akassa could ever fully find. If Akassa were to agree to such a thing M1Y1 would ask for a moment to gather something outside of Akassa's chamber though it would only be gone for a moments time, before M1Y1 was back at her side.
