Stepping into the gravity chamber within the palace walls Maya pressed the lock behind her as she went inside the room, there were to be no disturbances while she was inside its walls; often interruptions had terrible backlash effects and as much as the janitorial staff liked to clean up disemboweled fragments of what was once people there was no immediate need to shed blood. Hissing filled its ears as the doorway generated a pressurized field in order to nullify any gaps that might have been created in the doorways sealing, this way none of the forces that were about to be created would be able to leak out into the surrounding building, a safety feature that Maya was glad to see had been taken into consideration other wise the palace would have a few chucks missing from the structure. The technology that enable organics to generte such gravity fields was a impressive source of ingenuity and skill but without the proper usage they could quickly become dangerous, thankfully Maya was skilled in handling machines such as this.
Making her way to the center of the room Maya paused at the console that rested there before her, every command that could influence the systems within the room lay in the small panel, however today was unlike the rest of the trainings it had gone through in the past; no trips into the data banks of the machine itself, no sparring with Akassa, a task which Maya was glad not to go up against anytime soon. After reading the files on the machine Maya had learned that while the machine was meant for personal use it also contained the ability to connect to other terminals that were spread through out the galaxy; the thought was stunning for a moment, the idea that a machine could bypass the time delay over thousands of light years to project ones being in real time was amazing. After learning the technology was based on the concept ideas of warp travel it became grade school in terms of understanding for the some what organic machine; excitement or what could be compared to as excitement quickly began to brew, new forms of technology that had not been witnessed before always found a place within Maya's mind.
Not always in usage the machine sat in standby mode, a light slumber as it awaited for its new guest and as luck would have it that would be Maya today; with a light nudge from its fingers the system came alive. Messing with the various files that lay within the console Maya soon found what it was looking for; the online servers, places from all around the galaxy were listed, some as close as Earth and others that lingered on the hinges of the galactic disc, oh the thrill of it all! While there were a few choices Maya was unsure as to who it should pick, having faced Akassa a few times in the training field Maya had learned a quite a bit from the woman maybe even more than the surface showed but by no means was she an expert as of yet, what Maya had learned though could finally be put to use outside of the small training yard and without prior knowledge or lingering alliances Maya had no reason in which to hold back.
Feeling unsatisfied with the choices that settled on the screen Maya activated the chamber and set her server to live, if anyone wished to fight with her then the simulation was up for them to enter. There was the possibility that another looking upon the board was either Akassa or Nasu if they had quick recall of the IP address, such a thing would certainty lead to some confusion on the viewers behalf. With a shrug of its shoulder Maya started the gravity chamber up, having already practiced within the realms of five times gravity Maya saw to kick it up a notch, though it wished to move at an accelerated rate through the levels of gravity the shell of a body it had could only with stand so much; settling at a moderate ten times gravity Maya nodded its head and pressed the button.
A small grunt escaped through its mouth as the field activated around itself, like the first time it had experienced the changing effects of gravity on its person it took some time getting used to. Having to steady its stance Maya pushed back against the gravity upon her as she activated her reserves of power, within a second her form returned to its normal state even though the applying forces still weighed down on her shoulders. Just like good old times but without the ass kicking from Akassa; settling before the monitor Maya pressed the final button, eyes glowing with a silver shimmer Maya was pulled into the cyber net.
Taking a moment for its eyes to readjust to the surrounding Maya soon noticed the world it was in was not like the room she had been before; no walls, no sleek machine parts, just a seemingly endless night sky with stars that dotted the sky scape. Below from where Maya floated in the air rest a series of what appeared to be floating islands and below was a pitch black sea, the only source of light came from pair of moons that hung lazily just above the horizon of the world and Maya's own purple eyes as the glowed out into the deep night.
This is... fun? Guess I'll wait....
Having not seen anyone appear as of yet there was hardly a thing to do other than let the time pass, if worse came to worse it could always duck out of the simulator for a few hours and come back later when another was seeking a match.

The android stood at the end of a balcony, watching over all of Avalon from atop the city's castle. The sky was beginning to set on the planet he had now learned to call home. Ivan had been busy again with political endeavors and he had been left to his own devices once again. He didn't expect to have so much freedom. It seemed the scientist was too entertained with other matters to supervise the android as closely as he tended to do back in Alpha Prime. Before, Zero lived his life locked inside a blank room, staring at wall until a speaker would spout orders about his next mission or task. If he was not training, he was on a mission. If he was not on a mission, he was under maintenance. If he was not under maintenance, he was in that room. The android was silent. His mind lurking on recent events passed. He could not understand why, but he could not budge a certain disturbance on his chest. He had been meaning to ask someone about it, but nobody was ever available.
Seeking to clear his mind, the android turned from the orange sky, and headed towards the simulator. Recently, he had been the one to schedule his own training sessions. All of his masters were on Alpha Prime, there was nobody around to give out orders or demands. AEVA followed closely. She was the only one ever present, keeping herself available for anything Zero might need; he never did though. It was unlikely the android would ever ask anyone for favors, but she remained regardless if not to at least serve as company. In that sense, he was truly never alone. He didn't know why either, here body a mere prototype, serving as an extension of her consciousness so she may interact with the physical world. AEVA's core was back on earth and Zero intended to travel there to retrieve it.
Model Zero promptly entered the simulator. It was a white plain room with domed walls as many of the training chambers were. Because they must keep their location secret, AEVA had done some work on the console to redirect the signals it produced. The android did not understand it much, but according to her, other's could use the data shared between consoles to track the other's location. It made sense. If two systems could connect from across the universe, then some kind of address must have been involved. In light of this, AEVA modified the security settings so their location -if tracked- would lead the prosecutor to Alpha Prime instead of Lupin IV. Unlike popular belief, not all androids were necessarily 'all-knowing'. Model Zero was one of them. He did not posses the curiosity Ona had, or her active scientific desire to learn of his origins and those around him for the sake of knowledge. Furthermore, he was no expert on the use of other machines and software like AEVA. They were considerably different forms of androids in both function and composition. In essence, Model Zero was a soldier. The only thing he knew was how to fight and how to use others to his advantage. He fought for the ideals of his master and him alone without questioning.
Soon, the simulator would start upon preparations performed by AEVA as Model Zero stood silently at the center of the chamber. The system matches them up with an unknown user who had been waiting for another to battle. The chamber morphed, transforming from his feet to the ceiling. The android found himself floating amidst an endless expanse of water. There were islands nearby, but they were nothing compared to the vast ocean. A few months ago, Zero would have fallen to his demise as he had recently learned to manipulate the ki within him. No longer did he solely depend on the weapons Ivan produced for him, or the energy provided by those weapons, now he was capable of flight -among other techniques. His eyes fell on the moon's light reflected off the pitch black ocean, the dotted sky, and then a pair of purple eyes gazing at him from a distance.
The android's right eye scanned the individual for a power-level reading; about as powerful as that bio-android they had under custody. From their distance, he could not make out the opponent's features as her clothing blended with the overall darkness of their battlefield. Even with his heavy weights hanging down on him, he had the upper-hand power-wise and in terms of gravity. The android had trained and mastered well past a mere 10g; as a result, he remained as still as the silent ocean beneath them, granting his opponent the first move. Zero's red armor would glimmer in the light of the two moons, and his golden hair danced casually with the sudden soft breeze rushing from the surface.

Waiting was a time less passion of Maya's and a much hated one if that, down time always found a deep seeded annoyance within the girl's mind, without something of importance or at least to bide the passing minutes with some mental task would have been preferred but tampering with the systems of the simulator were ill advised on its behalf; while Maya had tampered with the machine times prior most events did not end in a fashion that it wished to repeat onto itself. At the time it was best if she left the consoles and the data streams alone, there was no need to adjust things without knowledge of what could come from it. Exhaling softly against the gentle sea air Maya crossed her arms and began to float around the area letting the breeze push her where it may. Though the machines in its mind knew all to well that the world they currently stood in was not of a real substance its organic half couldn't believe its eyes; like a younger sibling its organic nature found such amazement in periodical things, often Maya would have to pull focus towards more important tasks... it was proving difficult to get work done with such idle distractions yet Maya pushed onwards like always.... There was a saying that she had heard a while back but it was as of late that she understood what it meant; you can rest when your dead... such a odd use of words. Having never found comfort of sleep before M1Y1 never knew just what it meant by that, even though Maya had never laid her head down before to sleep it understood what the saying meant now... but what was death for a being that only simulated life? No heart beat within its chest, there was no blood to fuel its movements, breathing was only necessary for its organic half; really it was the only life inside of her.
Lost in her thoughts Maya almost missed the the blinking sensor that was up linked to its mind, wanting to be sure that no one could sneak upon her Maya had gone about setting trackers on its IP gateway, like a security point anyone that passed through was logged and sent straight to Maya. Powering forward slightly Maya broke its connection to the winds which pushed her around, while the trip had been a nice one other affairs called to her as of the moment. Eyes scanning out over the bleak area around her it took a few seconds to locate who had joined the simulator, unlike those she stayed with Maya did not have any abilities to sense others power levels, though Maya had some theories of her own up till now she not openly spoke about them to Akassa... and talking to Nasu was about as appealing as nails on a chalkboard, except the chalkboard was its mind. Visuals were the only aid that would help in a place so deprived of light, and while the duo moons gave the area a dim glow they hardly provided any aid when the backdrop fused into one at some point; black sea, black night, this was going to be interesting on its behalf. Having no idea just how strong the person who she fought was its tactics fell back to its preferred methods of quick long ranged strikes and dodging methods; until pattern of combat was fixated Maya faced many unknowns with her opponent.
While Maya readied herself she paused for a moment... something was off, it was like a six sense of sorts but for one reason or another Maya switched to its view over the data stream that governed over the simulation and its networks. Selecting just the room they were in Maya preformed a quick scan through out the files until its saw an oddity, where as Maya had only seen one person standing before her it appeared that another was looming along side him... or at least connected to the simulator via port access. Maya was unsure as to what to do with the information at hand, the match had not stated one v. one yet if that were the case then clearly she was out matched... there was always the chance that a third party on his side was just watching in or monitoring levels. If either were the case there was little point to fret over it, backing down was never an option and being watched was noy necessarily terrible, though a larger issues is what pushed the other two below the surface of Maya's care. While the display IP address matched with a place that had been come to know as Alpha Prime there was repeating code that was concealed in the background; while usually most computers would not take notice of the odd data stream Maya could physically see it with its own eyes within its neutral network. For what reason would a person have to hide their own access way? The question did peak curiosity but Maya had neither the time or care to want to dig deeper than the surface; everyone had their own reasons for what they did, perhaps she could ask him after their spar.
Switching back to where its functionality was completely focused on its body Maya stretched her neck from side to side, there was no stiffness to be found but she had seen Akassa do this before some of her spars... so why not, Akassa was generally successful in her life, she must be doing something right. Facing the silhouette of who she was fighting Maya readied herself, she had already taken more time that need be with inner thoughts and background checks; enough delay, it was time to fight. Having already powered to her highest peak there was little else in the ways of strength she could muster at this point, charging her power was always an option but with so many unknowns from her opponent it would be unwise to chose such a pathway to follow. With one last check the light from Maya's eyes began to fade away, not being sure if he could sense were she was at it Maya hoped to gain some advantage with his absence of knowledge of where she was but it was a long shot.
Ready when you are. Her voice called out from the depths of the night.

Kill him...
The words seemed to haunt the android even now. The dark surroundings of this simulated world goaded him into the recesses of his thoughts, only to bring back images of the late Plation and the injustice he had committed on behalf of his master's whim. He had thought that a battle in the simulator would have kept him from such thoughts, but there was no escaping the bizarre disturbance pulsating against his chest. The elven man's visage of utter despair was portrayed in his mind, "Sorry!? Tell that to Cayu when you go back down and enslave my people! It's so easy that way, isn't it!? Hiding behind your master's orders, just so you don't have to take responsibility for your own actions!" Zero didn't think he had it in him. Part of him almost didn't. However, in the end, there was no escaping fate. His master had given the order, and he, as the loyal servant to his god, he stole the life of -perhaps, the only 'friend' he ever had. If he could dare to call him such despite his betrayal. Ivan would use the power of his speech to sway the hearts of the people within the battlefield and tell them of The Great Plation, hero and savior of Lupin IV. The scientist would become king and he would build his kingdom over the death of the konatsian hero. Cayu runs to the corpse of his deceased brother as Model Zero held the man in his hands. The android looked away for the first time, unable to keep eye contact with the child as he sulked over his brave brother.
"Ready when you are." the woman spoke, snapping the android from his trance.
Zero had been waiting, allowing his opponent the first move as courtesy, though it appeared she insisted on giving him the first go. What's more, she had apparently powered up. It appeared the android had been deceived for believing he had the upper hand. Even if he removed his heavy weights, their fight would still be relatively even with the strength she had been displaying. Then again, the fact still remained that he was far past the level of gravity they had been training under. Model Zero conceded, accepting his opponent's desire to give him the first move. The android unsheathed his weapon, a green saber made of green energy. It's light buzz hummed in the light breeze. Promptly after, Zero's eyes began to glow a surprisingly teal hue which resonated with the crystal on his red helmet -also glowing teal. The glow was an indicator that he had ascended to his override state. If his opponent could sense or detect power-levels, they would no doubt notice the rise in his strength. Regardless of the spike in power, it was no impressive feat as they now stood at equal footing. The teal hue would soon fade and his eyes would return to its normal pitch-black pools.
Now being at the same level of power, Zero was not one to rush into action without first gauging his opponent. It was likely the person he was about to face had come upon the same conclusion and so it may not have been a surprise for her that he would start off with a long-range move. Then again, having just taking out his saber might have served as a misguiding factor, working in the android's favor. Zero took his pistol with his free hand. He had used that gun in many battles in the past and it had served him greatly. The pistol had been recently upgraded by Ivan so a silencer would muffle the sound of gun-fire. Thanks to his scouter, Zero had a good idea of where his opponent was floating. Her overall figure was shrouded by the darkness surrounding them, but he could somewhat make out the reflection of her shades due to the moon's light. Once he pulled the trigger, a small compressed bullet of ki would eject from the mouth and rush towards the woman at high speed. There would be no sound, as the silencer prevented that. However, the bullet was small and bright, easy to see considering the darkness that shrouded them. With her power-level, it would not be a surprise to the android if she managed to evade it. Many usually did somewhat escape the dull pain of his bullets. However, if she allowed herself to be struck, she would learn they were quite deadly as the bullet would pierce through almost any material.

Both combatants stood apart from one another in the bleakness which ensnared them, it was moments like this that Maya thought of installing night vision within its eyes; costly but in situations as she was facing now it would give her a upper hand in the long run. Having only ever taken arms against Akassa in spars Maya had a general grasp over combat maneuvers now, her skills were still in training of course but she had come a long way from where she had been in terms of fighting. Long range strikes was her preferred method of attack, with little chance of self harm at greater distances and with effective results that followed, clearly long range was the best choice of the two, unless of course whoever the target was had speeds which could out pace a fired shot; few in number could ever accomplish such things but it was those that she seemed to come across.
A blur of green light radiated from the man with the reveal of a long blade that seemed to generate light similar to the ways her eyes had done seconds before; the light generated was a dead give away of his position in an area with only a dim glow from natural lighting sources. Maya though little of his choice for a close range attack; many, heavily based on her experiences with Akassa, seemed to favor close range combat apposed to long range attacks. There was nothing wrong with his choice but it would leave him at a clear disadvantage till the gap between them was closed giving Maya the upper hand with her energy based cannons. There was always the chance that close range was not all he specialized in however, Maya herself carried no physical weapons but within her body she contained just as deadly weapons as the man did himself.
Arms placed at her side Maya's skin began to squirm and crawl in odd formations like it was a live, and for all intensive purposes, it was. Meshing together to form a object of long sleek silver barrel it now rested in place were her forearm used to be, though she could no longer grip objects with her hand it served as a great offensive weapon when dealing with distant targets like the opponent she faced was. Taking aim the man Maya paused for a moment as in the light from the moons she could make out movements from his body, from the distant she was and the direct absence of light it was difficult to tell just what it was that he was doing. Cocking her head to one side Maya waited with question in her eyes, rather than wanting to crush the man into the ground she held much more interest to see what he was about to do.
Muffled from his specialized equipment the sound barley travel to Maya's ears, over the gentle winds, and the rough seas below the nose could be hardly registered within her mind but the real question; what was it? Of course sounds alone would not submit an answer but the streaming green trail of like that was plowing towards her at ever increasing speeds spoke much more than the sound it made ever could have. Closing in the distance between them options weighted heavily in her mind. Attacking back with an equal force was always a choice but the overall size of her main attack versus the pointed tip and smaller size of his bullet would most likely pass through the center only causing a slight drop in speed; still the attack would be damaging. Dodging was held in the highest regard at the moment, time was a factor but she still had about three seconds left in her reaction time, plenty to bypass the attack... but not fully, had the distance been further she could have fully avoided the attack.
Closing in the distance ever closer to her Maya's body began to shift, where as before it was a solid form it began to take on the physical make-up of a water; with the bullet closing a small hole appeared within her body as the bullet slipped right through her and continued its path into the dark beyond. Without missing a beat Maya tore through the skies at her target, like a serpent her body trailed back and forth behind her seeming to speed her up as she went. Still armed with a cannon Maya took aim once again; forming at the tip of the barrel a green ball of energy quickly formed with sparks of silver lightning licking at the surrounding air. Opening fire Maya unleashed three of the silver charged green orbs of energy, being Maya's strongest method of long range attack she often used them as her primary weapon; limited in her arsenal there was tactics she had when it came variety.
Following her barrage assault Maya would attempt to close the distance in on her target; trying to avoid any more shots he might fire to ward her off, Maya would latch onto his chest like a parasite of pure liquid to better assess her opponent.

The compressed energy bullet skit through the air with blinding speed which only those of similar strength could possible follow. This individual was one such being, Zero realized this from the moment her power-level spiked. His intention with the energy bullet was to break the ice and assess his opponent's abilities; fully expecting the bullet to be avoided as is usually was. There was some kind of universal mechanic which seemed to enhance a being's ability to evade whenever faced with a gun or sword. Regardless, Zero would soon discover that his opponent was much more interesting that he would have thought. He remained idle, floating in mid-air as he watched his attack close in on its target. His golden hair glimmered under the star-lit sky, flowing with the tropical ocean breeze that caressed his skin. It was hard to tell in the dark, but -for a moment, it seemed as though his energy bullet landed. There was no sound or grunt of pain, no screams. The only indication of having injured his opponent was the spray of blood, made visible by the moon's reflection. Zero had been a bit too far to detect the sound of splashing water as the bullet passed cleanly through his opponent's body. From his perspective, it must have been the shifting of water in the ocean below them.
An instant later, Model Zero began to gain a bit more perspective into the nature of his adversary's abilities as it charged through the air like a torrent, although it was still too early to make any feasible and useful conclusions. His opponent's ki seemed to ripple behind it in a trail, rolling over itself in a turbulent manner -though he could not understand how an aura could reflect the light of the moon. Model Zero braced himself, duel-wielding his pistol and blade as his adversary charged its attack. Three orbs of green ki eject from its arm with silver static coursing along its surface area. The android's eye's widen. The spheres of ki served as a beacon of light which brightened its surroundings, granting Zero a glimpse of his opponent. He could not make any sense out of it at the moment, but it was enough to speculate.
Using his new-found mastery of ki, Zero manipulates the energy around him, causing his body to drift in the air as the spheres of ki approached him. They buzzed, radiating with power, though Zero veered to the side. The android would maneuver between the spheres of green energy, allowing them to pass harmlessly beside him while keeping his guard up. Despite the shortened distance, her spheres were considerably slower than his energy bullets by size and execution alone. During the time it took his adversary to prepare the attack, Zero had been already thoroughly aware of the attempt and prepared to evade. However, his opponent's speed was impressive and offered little options as it rushed towards him like a serpent. In that regard, the spheres of energy served their purpose as a distraction to keep the android occupied while it revealed its real intentions.
Admittedly it was Zero's curiosity, in part, which didn't mind submitting himself to his opponent's whim just so he could learn of the technique which piqued his interest. The -thing- moved fast and latched onto him; only then, were they able to mutually study each other. Zero's black coal eyes fell upon his opponent's liquefied personification. It was then that he realized that the blood he had assumed to be spilled by his energy bullet was actually the liquid substance of her composition and his opponent was completely unharmed by his attempt. Furthermore, what he had thought to be her aura as she rushed towards him was actually the turbulent and reflective nature of her body coursing through the air like a serpent of water. The android would remain motionless, silently observing his opponent with scrutiny and a face so stoic only a machine could pull off. To his surprise, the woman's liquid form was just a gimmick as her body slowly stiffened into a firm and solid form. The only reason he could think of for her to revert to a form he could touch was probably because she could only sustain the liquid form for a short period of time. The android noted the change and kept the thought on hold for further observation.
In that instant, Model Zero wrapped his arms around her solid form, locking her in place with nowhere to go. If successful, the emerald gem on his forehead would begin to resonate with a teal hue as it had previously, except this time it would absorb the energy out of his opponent like sucking through a straw. Light particles of visible ki would float between them, drifting from the woman and into the android's glowing teal crystal. Slowly, she would feel her energy sapped from her, growing weaker with every fleeting second.

Maya thought little with the mans ability to evade the on coming green spheres, though they were powerful their traveling velocity often made then very noticeable and easy to evade; it was their brightness and large scale that helped Maya to close its distance towards the man with the over sized distraction, with the distance that had been between them it would have taken considerable effort on her behalf to be both on an offensive and a defensive state. Granting the surroundings a considerable amount of light the first real images of who she was sparring against came into existence; male in physical structure, he wasn't much taller than Maya, at least in her current state, black skin with splotches of red. Whatever the person was Maya was not fully sure that he was human, even though his facial structure told otherwise, the metallic shine to his body represented that either he wore a suit for protection or that he was something else entirely... of course there would be a time to further explore the given options. Fading off into the distance the casting light from the orbs began to fade from their bodies leaving them once again in the dull light of the moons, they had given her enough time to cross the distance and while her liquid state was quite useful its span of use was a short window, already she could feel her body being to harden like stone once again.
The clock ticked down the seconds till Maya form would completely return to its previous state, without control Maya could feel its body forming once again, the gel like tail that had traveled behind her congealed into a pair of legs till they were solid once more. With her form finding its way back to its normal state Maya rammed into the chest of the man; Maya had expected some give with the force she generated but he held his ground firmly not even letting his stance buckle in the slightest.
Either is armor is advanced enough to have kinetic dampers or he is stronger than he appears; not even a grunt....
Learning of the man's strong perseverance Maya quickly tried to form a tactical retreat, having seen his blade previously the close range between them was no place which she wished to be. Jutting backwards with her jets Maya attempted to gain some much needed distance between the two but he was upon her before there was enough time to recoil from the advancing assault. Caught up in his grip Maya struggled with kicking legs and squirming arms, anything to rid herself from the man's vice grip but regardless of the struggles she made there seemed to be no break in his defenses. It was then that Maya saw it; the light, the oh so similar sound and feeling... only once had Maya seen it before.... Akassa had used a similar attack on Maya once before and the results felt as though all the strength in her body was being drained through a straw. Eyes widening at the growing color of the gem that rested in his forehead Maya did the only thing that she knew would get the two apart.
Like a pillar emerging from a pool of still water a large blade broke through Maya's arm with all the speed that her fist would carry it would strike the man in the head. With enough force behind the blade Maya would break free from his binding as she back flipped away using the heel of her foot to strike him in the chin; following the kick Maya would jet away a small distance so that she could asses the situation more thoroughly that she had before, so much more was known about him than before but one thing was for sure now, she had her scythe.
Dirty trick....
Maya had seen the trick first hand from Akassa before though in a different manner than what he was attempting to use on her... she was thankful that it had not made contact with her person, last time she was unsure how long the fight could have continued on for.
Resting some distance away Maya over watched the man as he recovered from her counter, there had some hopes to hold off using her scythe till later in the spar but at the time there was little else she could have done to escape from his locking arms; it was out now, there was no taking it back now. Only but the blade still stuck out from her skin, there was no pain from having the weapon inside her body, after learning more about the weapon she had made it apart of herself, it felt like just another part of her. Taking a hold of its metal blade that shimmering in the moon light, with a stern yank the staff of the scythe tore from her body till the length of the blade was held in her hand. Gripping the scythe with both hands Maya began to twirl the weapon about in her hands, only having the weapon for a short time Maya had learned the in's and out's of it in a matter of days with constant study; it had seen blood before and this certainly would not be the last time.

Legs kicking and arms squirming, the woman attempted to break free from the android's grasp but Zero had no intention of releasing her. The energy particles would seep out of her and into his gem like a stream. Soon enough, he thought, her resistance would end and her body would become so weak and enthralled by the sensation, she would no longer possess the desire to be released. That is, what would have happened if she hadn't acted so quickly... Her arm would suddenly burst into a long cylindrical rod with a blade arching down from its end. Alarmed by the nature of her attack, Zero released her and prepared to make a tactical retreat when she thrust down and bashed at his head with the body of her scythe. The android's head jerked down, his body leaned forward with his back arching out and away. Before he could retaliate, the woman back-flipped out of his reach, using his chin as the supporting pedestal.
The force of her heel on his face, sent his body adrift, making a full 360 turn before he could stop his displacement by rearranging the energy around his body. Coming to an abrupt halt, Zero tensed his body, preparing for a possible followup attack, but the woman had not engaged him. Instead, she pulled out the rest of her weapon's body from her arm and held its length in her hand, twirling it as a demonstration of skill. This individual was interesting, he thought. At first, Zero thought she was just some weird alien life-form he had not yet discovered, her biology being the only explanation for the sudden shift of her molecular properties. Then again, the pulsar jets in her feet, and the scythe which burst out of her like second nature, it all implied her to be more machine-like than previously assumed. Ivan himself had considered making jets as part of the android's design, but he felt it was much more efficient to have the android learn how to perform energy-based attacks and fly with ki -then fill in the blanks with technology and improve the biological imperfections.
With all that said, classifying her an android just didn't seem appropriate given the attributes Zero had discerned. What kind of technology could change a being's entire body into liquid and then consolidate back to normal with such precision? It's nature seemed to match Delashano's magic much more closely than anything else. That is, if it doesn't have an answer, magic is the answer -no?
Having recovered from the woman's attack, Zero was ready to continue the fight. Raising his right arm, he aimed the tip of his saber at the woman as if he were calling her out. A moment later, a small compartment would open from his arm's wrist bracer and eject a small capsule about the size of a golf ball. The capsule would make its way towards the woman, it's beeping the only indication of it's nature. Model Zero would promptly after propel himself in pursuit with weapons in tow. He shot another energy bullet from his pistol, however, it was not aimed at his opponent. The bullet would make contact with the small capsule he had previously unleashed and cause it to detonate ahead of time. The capsule would prove to be a grenade -in case she had not already discerned beforehand, self-destructing into a powerful burst of energy. Whether it hit her or not was of little consequence as it only borrowed attention from the main attraction. Model Zero would curve around the blast radius to reach the woman at the other side of the growing sphere.
She might have gotten a glimpse of his golden hair fluttering in the wind before his figure faded into a scarlet silhouette of his image, dashing right through her like a ghost. With so many underhanded tactics, Zero thought he had control over the battle. It would only take but a fleeting moment after he had maneuvered past her defenses that his glimmering saber would flash up the small of her back, hopefully tossing her into the blast radius of his initial attack during it's final seconds of existing.

Everything had worked out well so far following Maya's attempts at a plan, having never faced this person before there was no way of knowing what types of tricks may just under his skin so her focus had to be at peak levels; already the man had ensnared her in his vice grip, threatening to drain the life from her body, having seen a similar ability before Maya had done what was necessary to break and give way to distance between the two. Having gain some grounds after stunning the individual she was now prepared to strike back at him with something packing a little more punch than her previous attempts at damaging him had done. Twirling scythe in had Maya felt confidante that whatever she chose to do next would inflict some direct damage onto him but the given pause was all that he need to lunge forward into a springing attack. Maya scolded herself under her breath having shown off her display of skills with the weapon rather than attack while he was reacting to her escape but it would do her no good at the moment but only hamper her mental control.
Focusing back on the man Maya readied her weapon to slash out at him but before she had a chance to do so something expelled from his extended arm, with the near darkness spread so think around them like peanut butter there was little in the ways to make out just what it was and with only the small pings coming from it the object was cast in mystery as to what its nature was. By no means was Maya going to stay afloat there and wait for its display to reveal exactly what it was; scythe lifted over her shoulder she swung forward towards the object with all the strength in her two thin arms as a band of yellow energy which held the same shape as the blade tore through the surrounding air, seeming to have no physical air resistance the blade of energy would close in towards the small object but not before the small glimmer of a green energy shell where to smack it in the back. Erupting in a shower of white with contact with small beeping device Maya's own attack would come to face the expanding explosion and with a gust of movement would tear through the burning sphere creating a sizable whole in the explosion. Having a chuck torn from the ball of energy its explosive force was reduced to a faction of its original state creating little more than a breeze to blow Maya's hair around her in face.
Shaking her head to side to side she cleared her vision as she glanced about to seek out her target, during the light show before she had lost his path in its brightness and with the surrounding sea's filled with the night's air themselves spotting someone in such conditions would prove difficult. It was only when the shimmering of his blade appeared in the corner of her vision that she knew where he had been the whole time; the explosive display was nothing more than a simple distraction tacit... and it had worked, using the dim lighting to his advantage he had played her like a fool and gotten the upper hand; Maya was skilled, fast and resourceful however she saw no way to get out of this without sustaining damage to her person.... Her ability to warp and change her form could only be activated so often, done to many times in a rapid period would break down her physical nature turning her into a blob of silver and while she might be able to choke him out at that point she would rather not risk the chance. She could not get out of this attack unscathed however she might be able to turn it into her advantage, at least some what. Nothing came without sacrifice.
The blade pierced her backside with a stabbing motion and while Maya felt no pain from the attack the pressure was indeed felt; going forward with the motion of the attack Maya burst forward with her jet as she began to tumbled in a rapid spinning motion, it was then that her scythe lit up once more as with every spin she completed a blade of energy would erupt from the weapon towards the man. She might have taken a direct hit to her backside but he might not be expecting such a counter measure so quickly after have been hit.
Recovering from her tumble Maya stood up right once again feeling the wound on her backside slowly forming back together, while no physical remnants of his strike would be apparent after a few seconds the damage had indeed been done; she was by no means immortal. death could happen but wounds, time, never effected her outside, being able to change her shape at will gave her that. Energy was taken with each wound that was inflicted on her person, though one might not taken notice and think her as a god when it came to injuries, the toll would eventually be forced onto her for all to see however.
Shaking off the feeling Maya would charge towards the man, this time she would fall for no tricks, no blades, and no sucking of energy. Eyes cast onto the prize she tore through the midnight skies towards the man, scythe raised high over her shoulder ready for any counters or dive into his flesh. Hoping to have inflicted some damage onto the person Maya would dive upon him driving down with the heel of the scythe's staff towards his chest, not deadly but blunt force could stun or even shove him back aways. Not letting up Maya would lash out at the person with the scythe blades leading the charge, each strike from the blade would make it shimmer in the light of the moon's, from blood for from its own metallic nature, who could say?

The grenade self-destructed upon being triggered by the android's energy bullet, but its effectiveness was hampered by a deep crescent fissure made by the end of the woman's scythe. As a result, the blast radius was halved and produced nothing more than a gust of violent -but harmless winds. Regardless, the intent of his attack was not to injure her, but to distract his opponent. While the woman was preoccupied patting herself on the back for neutralizing his grenade, the android was already upon her. Nothing she could do would have been able to prevent his four-piece onslaught. Having been sent on many covert missions, the android had an art for the slight of hand tactics. He had been designed to move quickly with lethal attacks so he may take down his target as efficiently and soundlessly as possible. It were only in occasions such as this, where one fought to train rather than meet ends that his techniques were watered down to a point it did not necessarily threaten his adversary's life.
Slashing up swiftly, the woman jerked forward in response to Zero's attack. The android rushed after her fleeting body to continue his onslaught. However, resourceful she was, as his opponent activated her jets to turn her stumble into a controlled spin. Little did Zero know he would be soon repelled by a streak of energy discharged from the blade of her scythe. Zero had not expected her to react to soon. Usually, the sting of his blade would keep his victims paralyzed for a few seconds longer, but his opponent dismissed it immediately and commenced her counterattack with no regard towards her safety. The android veered to halt, shifting his body away from his target with feet planted in front of him as if stomping on brakes. In spite of his attempt, it was too late to evade the crescent blade of energy as it struck him dead on the chest, propelling him backwards. Zero made a complete 360 back-flip before he could stop the involuntary displacement of his body. The following blades of energy which trailed the first were intercepted by his saber, held diagonally across his chest to break them from the center. His body would drift back slightly with every collision, but Zero remained relatively unscathed. It was the first blade of energy which pounded on his chest armor, leaving a burnt dent.
It was not the first time Zero encountered a being whom could recover from a wound. Prometheus' brother, Wrath, was known for possession such qualities, though Zero didn't think he would have met another with such abilities. Due to Wrath's superior strength, Zero had never learned how to best an opponent who could instantly heal themselves from his attack, but now this woman posed a potential learning experience. Perhaps, what he learns here in the simulator could be used on Alpha Prime once he and Ivan returned. Arctic would most likely be very pleased with Zero's improvement and insist that they charge on Zex's Manor immediately.
Model Zero braced himself as his opponent took charge and rose into the skies so she may dive upon him. Her image was not very clear, but he could somewhat glimpse at her silhouette with stark contrast to the moonlit sky outlining her body. The scythe's blade shimmered, revealing that it was actually away from him. The woman would attempt to lunge at him with the heel of her staff, but Zero would swiftly maneuver by shifting the currents of energy around his body. Veering to the side with a spin, he would bypass her initial strike and counter with a roundhouse slash of his saber. Be that as it may, his opponent was quick and fierce, promptly deflecting his attack with her own. The woman charged him, keeping up the pressure with every swing of her scythe. Zero would match every blow with his saber, making sure to keep his distance. The two fighters would dance over the black ocean, between the waves which crashed against the large protruding rocks and the stream of light reflected from the moon.
In one designated moment, Zero timed himself and charged straight into the woman's reach -just as she swung her scythe. The android would pass the head of her scythe, leaving the blade behind him and it's body adjacent to his face. Model Zero would duck under the body of the staff to avoid getting bashed like a baseball and pushed forward for a final stretch, attempting to jab her core with the pommel of his blade. After that, the jewel on his forehead would resonate once more -similar to when he attempted to absorb her energy, except this time it was activating a different technique. From the center, a destructive sphere would expand outward, up to five feet from its source. It was Zero's Android Barrier. Although the technique was mainly used for defense, it could also be used for offense. The barrier was encrusted by a stream of currents sparking over its surface area. It's force is powerful enough to disintegrate the land beneath his feet, though it usually scorched his enemies and propel them away to create distance. The closer one was to the barrier, the more damage they would sustain.

Once an unforeseen attack it was quickly crafted in her mind to reflect surprise upon the man and counter his assault after the wake of being pierced in the small of her back. Nothing came in victory with out sacrifice regardless of the being, all eyes would eventually fade white and be haunted with a milky haze of the blind. The man's blade, shimmering and sharp was true in its precision where it had struck her; had Maya been normal in general standards of the word she might have been dead from such a direct blow, or perhaps show so much as even a fraction of pain that would be associated with such a strike in her back but her face yearned for no emotion, it simply was as it had always been, blank. There was no reason to fret, to fear, nothing would come of it, not when one could not sense that which caused beings, alike and different to crumble at their knees. Damage had been done of course though nothing of medical attention would ever come of it regardless of what world, realm or placement of time she might find herself in one day. Other than inflicted damage something else had come from this; knowledge. He was cunning, cunning enough to trick her, often a personal issues Maya had when judging others; she viewed herself generally in higher regards than others (minus when she failed at a task), organics where inferior, something that had been proven wrong before on occasional other notes but it was a habit that was not terribly easy to beat from ones mind. Having no formal conversations with the one who she fought against she knew little of him thinking him as an organic with a protective outward appeared of cold steel while inside there was a squishy flesh bag... but she was being to wonder if such a assumption was accurate. It was well and obvious that Maya herself (after some time) was not a human, not even a Saiyan but something not of this galaxy; not nearly robotic but not an organic but... this man... no... machine? Her view point was being to change on just what he was; movements were fluid as well to his reaction times, mind sharp as his blade, she began to think against the idea that he was indeed an organic... time would only tell however.
Having converted the crazed tumble from the man's blade into a controlled spin Maya had gone about converting the assault into a counter movement on her terms alone this time. Timing her strikes just so they launched their shimmering yellow glow towards her target who up to this point was rushing towards the spinning Maya to continue the onslaught. With error of thinking less of Maya's capabilities heading his thoughts it left his defenses open for an attack of opportunity as the first of the multiple strikes made contact with his hard outer shell, it was a annoyance that blocked the direct impact of her attacks unless if what Maya was being to assume was actually his true body and not merely for defense then it was definitely more effective. Warping steel finish of his breast plate the strike had landed in a decent location sending him sprawling backwards in the air away from Maya's position, it took a full flip before he could stabilize himself in order to intercept the accompanying lashes from her scythe. Blade placed between body and ensuing death he braced himself for the coming attacks as they bashed their way into his protective guard, while powerful enough to dent his plated body with his defenses raised each attack pushed his line of defense further away from Maya till the last light of her attack faded from sight. There had been some small amount of hope that more would have been done with the assault of her barrage yet results were results no matter how small they were, every strike, every hit taken or dealt gave her insight on the man and in the end of it all information was key to victory.
Recovering from the spinning out she took count of the events that had led her up to this point in fractions of a second, while wounded the damage she had sustained would recover, and quickly, not a mark to be found but the damage was done regardless of whether or not it was visible to the naked eye; her performance might suffer a slight amount but not enough to be visible to the naked eye. There should be no haste however, dropping all thoughts of her personal being Maya took the initiative to seek out an assault of her own this time she would take the fight to the man himself and deal with the issues face to face. Ripping through the night air Maya quickly found herself upon the man with ill intent to be found, craning down with heel of the scythe Maya intend to crack it down upon his head thinking his body might need just a few seconds more to recover from her latest attack however this would soon come to light to not be the case. Rapid to recover from her attack as she was to his the man was back in action ready to fend off Maya, with a shifting of his body he soon parted from the path of her weapon before it was to strike his head. There was no letting up on Maya behalf, one failed attempt was no a sign to raise a white flag and go home; speed was an element that was most needed here it seemed however that both parties were well matched against one another in this aspect.
Now out of the direct path of her weapon the man aimed to side swipe Maya with his glowing energy blade however there was nothing in Maya's thoughts that would ever suggest she would allow herself to be struck by such a weapon... again at least, first time was a necessary infliction for a counter but being as close as they were now it would have been pointless to take such a blow. Moving the placement of her own weapon in accordance of his coming blade Maya interfered in the blades arc before it could create contact with any part of her body, it was not an easy attack to block however, this man seemed to be on equal par with Maya making each connection with their weapons clang deeply in the night skies. Strike after strike, swing after the swing, the two kept at each others throats both trying daringly to land a decent blow but each time they went in for the kill the other would counter or lash out with their own means of defense. It seemed like a ever flowing river between the two until the man took operation into his own hands, whether it was Maya's own fault or just by chance her blade was not met with resistance but open air as he ducked forwards instead of away into the inner reach of her scythe, with the odd angle of the weapon such close proximity of his person would make it nearly possible for her to land a critical blow however he was just in the right place to make one of his own.
A curse could have been mutter by another at such a point but there was no need for such words to be exchanged when they would only waste time that could be spent on analyzing the current situation. Having pulled himself in a tight spot between herself and the gleaming scythe behind him the man found himself in a knee place to deal serious damage if such was his intent though Maya had no such reasons to believe his intent was of the purest nature. Blade jutting forward aimed to press into her gut Maya reacted in the only way of which could defend herself from threat. Driving in deeply into her body Maya slumped over slightly till her eyes met with the man's, there was no pain, no shock, not a hint of emotion to be found just a shimmering color of her skin as it began to warp and shift like a a pool of water. Down at her stomach were the blade now rest; the weapon, rather than tear into her skin had simply stabbed through a hole that she had generated into herself. No harm had come to herself though the threat was no yet over, it was the shimmering of the crystal in his head that sent warning to Maya. Another repeat as before, such a old trick but she could not afford to humor the idea and let her strength be taken from her as Akassa had done to her once before.
There was no way of knowing just what the attack from his head might formulate but Maya was in no position to sit and watch it unfold before her with investigate motives. With the scythe still at his backside Maya pulled backwards with her arm pushing the metal blade into his backside, there was not enough force to create any damage on his surface as it would only push him to close range than need be, rather it simply rest there. Using the scythe as a fulcrum and the man as a place to pivot off of Maya jetted forward with a burst speed to arch her placement away from the direct path of his crystal, with her water like state Maya force all of her being to follow the arch of the scythe till she once again reappeared in full form behind him. Shifting over him with the moving arch of the scythe Maya would release a slicing wave of energy from the blade's head, at such a point blank range it would be near impossible to miss but then again it was nearly impossible for her to escape from his grasp.
While the movement had been fluidly executed the glowing effect from his gem had not been the one that Maya had come to expect from him, instead of generating a siphon of energy a shield of sorts appeared around his body in a sphere that covered a five foot radius around his person in every direction. Thankfully having the scythe placed between the two Maya was in no direct harm however the single contact of his shielding wall was enough to create a rippling wave of energy to send Maya soaring backwards across the night sky till she faded off into the abyss. Taking a few movement to scold herself for thinking the device could only have one purpose Maya jutted her scythe out towards a nearby pillar of rock that had risen from the oceans depths, pressing her scythe onto the rock her backwards momentum spun her around the pillar rocketing her back towards the man. Crumbling back into the sea from which it had arose from the pillar was slice clearly through with the light brush of the weapon.
Coming to a stop in a free floating movement Maya rested swiftly over the night sky, once again she had lost him from sight and there was no clear way of knowing if her attack had been successful and what remained of him if anything. For all intensive purposes she was still on guard however even if her own attack had driven home and the minor explosion caused by his shielding splashed some damage onto his person by all means he could be standing as he was before, just with more dents in his head. Moving slowly across the path of the two moons Maya rotated in small circles observing the night lit surroundings for any trace of the man; scythe at the ready she spun it tightly at her side, if he were to rise up and lash at her she would be ready to counter with her own defense, of course this method of fighting could not be kept up forever. Energy, like everything else was limited; before long they would either succumb to lack of strength or lack of limbs.

His golden hair glimmered in the moon light, each strand scattering with their own rhythm as the currents of ocean breeze washed over his figure. The sound of the waves crashing onto nearby rocks were grooved on by his attentive ears. Regardless, the android could not remain still to enjoy the environment as the moon warned him of an oncoming attack. He could see her silhouette and the shining blade of her scythe behind her as she approached him for another bout. The woman descended upon him with the end back of her weapon, attempting to ram it onto Zero’s face. As a result, the smooth and intricate frolic from his flowing hair was abruptly interrupted as the android shift his body just as the staff drew near. His movements were so fluid that his red armor would not make a single sound despite the sudden motions. Zero had been moving much slower than what he was capable due to the heavy weights and the increased gravity that washed over him; however, he had already mastered levels far beyond the present, so his speed was not hindered as much. He did not know how far his opponent had trained under gravity, but it appeared she was not all that bothered by the current level. Zero wondered how far she had trained and why not raise the intensity if such were the case. On the other hand, she did not seem fazed by any of his attacks regardless.
In a flash, the android would move for a counterattack, swinging his vibrant saber to slice through the woman’s arm. In spite of his great skill and speed, the woman was quite adept and intercepted his attack with the blade of his scythe. In that moment, both warriors had entered a realm only known to the greatest fighters. It was a realm where the laws of physics no longer applied; a realm in which only they existed and no other third party could ever hope to witness with the naked eye unless their strength equaled or even topped theirs. Between the dodging, evading, and countering, their fight almost adopted some form of elegance –as if they were dancing. The darkened night skies would spark sporadically every time their blades clashed. Shockwaves would emanate from the convergence of the opposing forces, destroying nearby pillars and disrupting the wave’s motion. Their surroundings would flash as though lightning had struck, yet there was not a single storm cloud in sight. The night sky was as clear as glass but dark like the coal pools that were Zero’s eyes. It was, however, decorated with freckles of stars that accompanied the full moon.
Suddenly, in a moment he had timed, Model Zero broke stream of their dance and ducked under the woman’s scythe instead of intercepting it with his own attack. Having lunged his way inside, the android had used her weapon’s weakness to his advantage as it could not readily harm him when he was past the bladed edge. In that same instant, he would attempt to jab the woman with the back end of his saber. The woman doubled over, purple eyes staring into Zero’s, their faces just centimeters apart. She must have thought he was going to use the sharp end of her blade, having gone through the trouble of changing her body in a way she may create a hole in her chest, though Zero only intended a blunt hit to stun her. Her expression was about as mute as his own. They say one’s eyes in the window to one’s soul, but there were none in either of theirs, he thought. Despite not having hit the woman as intended, Zero had her right where he wanted her. The jewel on his forehead would soon after resonate in that same teal hue as before. Although no gestures were shared, the woman reacted immediately, probably thinking he was trying to absorb her energy again.
Driving her scythe into his back, she used the weapon and his body as a fulcrum to pivot above him and out of the crystal’s immediate path. The one weakness to his crystal is that his body was to remain completely inert whenever it was in use, therefore, nothing could be done about her actions. In spite of this, the force of her scythe’s blade against his back was much too weak to do anything against his red armor; it only served to guide her towards a false sense of safety. By the time she landed behind him and solidified, the android barrier was already beginning to emerge from his crystal. By the time she thrust her blade to strike him with that crescent strand of ki, the barrier already expanded over a foot of his entire body, clashing with the energy attack and nullifying its effect. The whole process was rather quick, and so the woman would not have time before it expanded further to five feet over Zero’s body. Her scythe protected her from the brunt of his barrier’s destructive might, but it would not save her from the immense force generated from the clash of her blade and his barrier, and the shockwave which rippled beyond its boundaries.
Airborne, the woman was involuntarily propelled to the far reaches of the battlefield, only stopping after coming close to a pillar which rose from the ocean below like a skyscraper. She used her scythe to catch herself at the edge and launch her body back towards the android. As a result, the pillar had been sliced through cleanly by her scythe and collapsed into the dark ocean. By the time she stopped to search for him, Model Zero had already moved out of sight. It appeared that she was unable to detect an android’s presence, and so he would take advantage of his conspicuous nature and sneak behind her. If his hypothesis was correct, the woman could no longer morph into her watery form after having used it. It seemed some sort of cooldown was required between its executions, which meant she could not evade his attacks for the next several seconds. Her mistake was to assume that Zero would attack head on, and that he would use his saber in doing so. If she listened carefully, perhaps she might hear the solemn buzz of his saber resting steadily beside him as the android took aim with his pistol. Having discovered the woman could heal from her wounds like a piece of clay, he would no longer restraint himself with child proof techniques. The silencer on his pistol would conceal the sound of his gunshot –only one with a namekian ear could hear its whisper as the energy bullet whipped through the air like lightning. If the woman turned, she could clearly see the compressed bullet shining in the darkness, otherwise, there was no other indication which could possibly warn her of the oncoming attack.
Before she knew it, the bullet would rip through her skin and Model Zero would approach her soon after to follow up on the onslaught. The woman would surely turn as soon as she realized the android was behind her, he predicted –and for that reason, Zero would use his dashing ability to fade right through her so he may get behind her again and thrust his saber diagonally across her back as deep as he could get the blade. Promptly after, he would continue with a second thrust and so on, getting in as many hits as possible before she broke free from his barrage. If Zero had learned anything from his fights against Wrath, it was that he must strike his opponent before they had a chance to heal. He had not yet discerned how to defeat one, as his powerlevel was far too weak in comparison to Prometheus’ brother. This woman, however, was the perfect guinea pig to test his skills and finally discover up to what heights her limits would reach.

She had lost her vision on the man, no longer could she locate the individual which sought to cause her bodily harm; it wasn't the first time such a thing had happened to Maya but was diffidently proving to be a growing annoyance. Of course the design in which Maya construct was based off of was never intended for such combative ways; in and out with as minimal contact as possible. As of late it was becoming more and more apparent that while raining fire down on another from afar was greatly preferred it was less plausible with those she was put up against. When was it that the line from killing from afar ceased and passed over into the killing fields of hand to hand? Always trying to be ahead of the curve or at least on its edges to feel its warmth she had gone around keeping the bladed scythe, its large arch range and deep penetration made it deadly at decent ranges however having seen how her opponent reacted to her maneuvers there were definite flaws in using it as it was. Maya knew she would need to go about discovering ways to defend herself when others came to close as her opponent had with his charged energy shield, while it had left her physically unscathed if she had been but a few feet closer her condition would be no where as close as it was now.
Black eyes scanned over the horizons of the world where the bleak oceans below stretched into the starry dotted sky had she not had a great sense of height Maya would surly have flown straight into the warm waters below, like a pilot without any sensors of height. Night vision surely would have been a great tool to have in such a place or even a way to gauge his energy levels but at this point it was as if she was searching blind for a needle in a sea. With her literal being that of technology it would seem that Maya would have some device, some trick to illuminate her surroundings but alas she had no such thing. A light scold was thrown at herself for not preparing for such an encounter as this one was turning out to be; at least this was but a simple simulation, had this be live combat the faiths would not have gone easy on her.
Keeping her movements constant and never once repeating forms Maya tried what she knew to avoid an ever looming attack, having no sense of where the man might be it was her best line of defense to evade whatever he might toss her way, and it helped. Had she not been scanning deeply into the area's surrounding her she might have never noticed the shimmering green line that spanned its way across the sky. It was the second time Maya had come to face this motive of attack, which meant there was something else to behind the attack. Even with her liquid movements on rest the attack was simple enough to move about, or deflect... which mean he knew that. Something else was deeper in meaning and she needed to be ready for whatever he might do next.
Armed with her gleaming scythe Maya flipped its blade in front of her body providing a simple yet effective guard for the speeding bullet. Readying herself in a stance she pushed outwards and away from her body with the scythe as the bullet struck into its surface, angled in its position the ragging bullet zipped off into the blackness which surrounded her but no longer was her attention on the projectile but the man as he rushed out from the shadows. Maya turned face towards the man readying her weapon to lash out at him, already the blade was shimmering with a hellish yellow energy in preparation to tear through his armor. Arm swiping forward with scythe in tow thin strips of energy flowed from the blade as it swung out across the distance before her but to her dismay the energy simply passed through the air where he once was.
Maya jerked backwards but not from shock at his sudden disappearance, slicing clear across her back side the tearing of her flesh sent small chucks of her body into the light of the moons. There was no pain to be felt, nothing but shear disappointment in herself for letting him land such a critical hit on her. If she had any Maya knew her bones would have been exposed with the driving force behind his blade, back arched slightly from the impact time seemed to slow down for those few seconds as her eyes looked beyond into the great darkness which consumed them.
"Failure...."
The word wisped through her loose lips.
One. Two. Three. Four.
The strikes struck her in the backside in a successive order before Maya had any reaction but what good would have done at this point? Her body would recover from the blows an endless amount of times but only if she could maintain such a energy level to do so. Gunning her jets forward and away from his jutting strike Maya turned to face the man, had this been real it would have surely been the end of it all but it was a test, a test to see what she would be pitted against if it came down to the wire. Clearly she had failed but it was a learning experience to see what it meant to fight some with true capabilities.
"I submit."
Maya waved the white flag of surrender. It was pointless to continue any further with her current energy reserves, most of her power was spent on recovering her wounds, no longer could the various strikes on her person be seen. While their strengths might have been near equal, his skill set far out reached her own; there was no shame to he had there nor would she find any, at least from herself.
"May I ask something of you?"
She questioned the man though he might think such a request would be odd after the assaults they had done on one another. Regardless of whether or not the man would given the go ahead Maya would ask either way as her curiosity was getting the better of her.
"You are not of a organic nature... at least not fully are you?"
The question had been burning its way through Maya's thoughts for some time during their encounter, with every strike she had launched it sat at the fringes of her thoughts. Having given her surrender there was no need to fight any longer at least not on her behalf, of course he could feel the need to finish her off as it stood which Maya well understood, nothing would be held against him if he so chose to take that route; what they could learn from one another was an opportunity that shouldn't be over looked.

The energy bullet ripped through the air in mere seconds, yet it was enough time for the woman to react and repel it with her scythe. The woman intercepted the attack with the flat side of her blade and shoved it aside as she pressed forward. Intuitively or by former experience, the woman anticipated Zero’s follow-through attack as the android charged her with his blade; much to her chagrin, however, the android’s attack was never so straightforward. She must have discerned that much from his previous attacks. Enveloped in a red silhouette, the android would faze through her weapon and body, stopping just behind her with saber readied and thrust at her back.
Success.
The woman’s body jerked with the first strike which marked the beginning of a sequence. Blow after blow, Model Zero curiously observed her older wounds gradually healing as newer ones were inflicted. It did not appear to have an end and he began to wonder how a foe such as this could be defeated. Zero would have continued for as long as it took. His hypothesis being that her wounds would only heal for as long as she could channel enough energy to do so. Every strike she negated with her healing capabilities must have been sapping her energy reserves and eventually the wounds would heal slower until not at all. In spite of this, Zero would never get the chance to discover this as the woman jettisoned out of his immediate reach.
Model Zero lunged forward with the intention of closing the gap between them before she had a chance to counter, but a single word uttered by the woman caused him to halt. His blade must have been within an inch of her neck before he heard it. “I submit.” she stated solemnly. The woman stood before him undefended and wide-open, Zero could continue the onslaught regardless and she would defend herself –no doubt, granting him access to the answers he sought, but there must have been some hidden coding within his programming which stopped him from swinging the blade another inch. The android conceded, straightening his posture and sheathing his saber. He was in the midst of undoing the simulation, but again his actions were thawed by her words.
She wanted to talk? He thought. Zero didn’t have to answer. Usually, he didn’t answer. He’d simply say, “That’s classified information,” or nothing at all and simply disappear without a word. However, the android was also interested in this peculiar woman and he wondered whether answering her could bring about answers to his own questions. He stared at her eyes through the bleak darkness that surrounded them. His long locks of golden hair flowed in front of him with the cool ocean breeze surging from behind, the tips just slightly caressing the woman’s face.
“That is correct. I am an android, a machine created to mimic the living,” he stated. Of course, there were much deeper meanings to his creation –like the impending annihilation of the saiyan race for example, but he could not and would not give out information like that so lightly. He offered her the bare minimum of his origins. In return, he expected the same from her.
“I have to admit,” he said, drifting closer to the woman. His hand reached for her face –and although it might have seemed like a sign of affection, it was purely scientific. Only his blade had true contact with the specimen, but Zero wanted to know how her skin behaved under his thumb. How could someone liquefy themselves in an instant and then reform perfectly? How could she heal her wounds so seamlessly? If he could learn the secrets of her abilities, he thought that perhaps he might be able to harness them for himself. “I am interested in you as well… what are you?”

She was injured, there was no doubt to be had there; no blood flowed from her her sealing wounds to show the proof of it nor did her face hold any expression to give such an impression but Maya knew this fight was well over. The will to continue was not diminished by any factor but she saw no point to go any further with the aggressive actions, from either side it would have been a waste of time that could have been better spent else where. There was no shame to be had in a loss such as this one, nothing had been at stake and only herself and the man knew of what happened... aside from those that peered from over the worlds horizons, those that partook in watching the display, those that sided with the man yet provided no aid in his endeavor Maya took note to question about the mysterious on lookers, it was not the time to mention such things, not when the one she attacked was still staring her down.
In all logical sense he had to right to slay here right then and there without second thought about the process, yet something held him there as their eyes locked with one another both as dark as the others. Blade hovering in his extended grip she waited, for something, anything at this point; there was no longing to be kicked from the hosting sever by her virtual death but if it was the path he so sought after then he should take it and rid her from his vision.
Watching closely Maya did not think he would lower his weapon at all let alone make it retreat back into its sheath; there was no qualms from the opposing side, the laws were in his hands now as far as Maya saw. Having claimed victor over her Maya saw it as he was control of the situation yet in her absence of any real strength she still managed to extend her influence into the mans mind through means of conversation; of course it could have also been stated that the man would have stopped of his own accord but Maya had interrupted before the chance had been given. It mattered not however, that which Maya sought was closer to a realization than it had been seconds prior.
Long golden strands of his hair brushed against Maya's lips from the warm breezes of the sea, they were cooler to the touch than the surrounding sea; of course the question as to why that was came into thought but Maya pushed it off, being stacked upon others that dropped into her thought without her whim. He spoke, Maya was... proud or at least smug at the fact she had been correct in her assumption, sadly this nature of herself was coming out more than often though she was skilled in not letting it show, more of an internal burst of emotion before it was smothered by her conscience.
Once again taking notice of the lack of weaponry in the mans hand Maya took the scythe that was still gripped in her hand as it slowly began to sink back inside of her body as if falling into a quick sand, soon enough the entirety of the weapon vanished into her flesh as if it had ever existed prior. Maya wanted the man to understand that this was purely conversational now, she no longer had interest in fighting him at this point; he had shown more capability as a warrior than she was, even if the power returned to her body the outcome would be the same once more.
"Mimic...."
The single word left her mouth, of course Maya knew of that all to well, she was merely a husk of another which form she had stolen; an act most might consider heinous, though she would do her best to steer away from that if at all possible.
Speaking once again he floated closer to her than he had been before, where once the length of his hair pressed against her face it now completely blocked out the light of the two moon's across her face. Maya was unsure as to exactly what it was he had planned as his hand drifted from his waist; frozen like a statue Maya didn't make any move that might give warning to anything hostile.
Hand pressing against her cheek Maya's eyes darted away from his as the once faded color of purple rose from their dark depths; she was unsure, unsure as to why she looked away or the light came to her eyes once more. To the man he would notice that while her form had been able to change its shape as it had done times before it would give little give just like normal flesh would, however her temperature was higher than that of normal humans, hardly enough to make a difference but it was there.
The shimmering glow from her iris gave a dull glow against their two faces as close as they were to one another, shadows danced back and forth as her eyes slowly rose up to meet her on looker as he spoke a question of his own. This was a question Maya herself had been asked many times even by herself... she knew not; what she was, where she came from, it wasn't until recently that she had a name that didn't make her seem like just a machine. Maya couldn't help but feel as though the question held more weight to it than she might assume, part of it sounded like something Nasu would say in a sad attempt to populate with another for a night, but only ended up self populating to strange websites.
"What I am?"
She repeated the question out loud, never once did her eyes break again from his connection, as if trying to display some amount of control over her own actions which often enough did things that she herself did not understand. The pause was a brief one filled with a soft sigh as she closed her eyes slowly as if deep thought.
"I know not. I am what you see. Though there is more, I do not yet understand it-... myself."
Raising her hand between the two of them it faced palm open and up, she bore nothing in the basin of it but suddenly it began to change. Like a murky puddle of silver the material of her body began to manifest and congeal away from the rest as in a matter of a few seconds a small sphere floated silently in her hand; it was her, or at least a part of who she was, a small fragment. Its properties were as if a ball of water was left suspended in space with no gravity to take a hold of it giving it a spherical form of a silver colored substance. It was the closets answer Maya could give when another would ask about her nature, though still many things were a mystery.
"What about you? Are... were you ever human?"
It was a logical question to ask the strange man, his outside appearance held strong similarities to that of humans but as did the Saiyan but those where two different races when DNA came into the picture. It was all possible that he was nothing of the two races she had come across, another entire species which held a similar ties to humans or Saiyans alike. Of course it could have also been said that he was never a person, just a machine with a face whose appearance was of a human like nature.
