Kallen’s initial reaction was not favorable, Zasham noted. He did not blame her. He often got caught up in his thoughts, pulling himself out of the physical realm. So many curiosities already, and now this interesting new arrival provided even more. It was a wonder he noticed anything to be quite frankly. Until she twisted and pulled her arms over her head; a sudden spike in his awareness was noted. His immediate reaction was to touch it, of course, as tactile feedback was often the best manner in which to assess; more data to be processed through his mind.
Then she gave him permission, which caused a hand to immediately raise before pausing. His better manners fluctuated to the surface, thinking it perhaps impolite to touch a lady so soon. With a shrug he lightly felt the contours of the nodule and the surrounding area, his arm subtly stretching to accommodate the distance. He continued tracing his fingers gently across her elegant back whilst she spoke, perhaps too long as his brain processed the images she forwarded him through their mental connection.
“My, you are fascinating Miss Kallen… I apologize if I was too forward,” he said, remembering himself as he paused the fingertips’ movement across her beautiful skin before slowly retreating the hand. His arm retracted slightly until he clasped both hands once more and laid them across his lap. And atop all else, she was unique to her kind, a wonderful prospect. Though he had known since the moment he had seen Kallen that she was unique. An intrigued smile played on his lips as she seemed to enjoy that pose she had struck. He did not blame her, he too having taken a liking to it. It ended though, after she asked her question, lithe as she brushed back her hair and dropped her arms. A daring gaze staring down lashes met his own curious eyes. He felt an anomalous chill ripple across his body.
“Yes, I am those things and many others I suppose. A business man, yes, as currency is just another form of power. Also I am Lord of Alpha Prime, upon which we currently reside,” he said before also pointing opposite the falling sun. The space station’s present position and rotation providing the aesthetic effect of the Kalor, named after a god from ancient Kinigo beliefs, setting in the East and the planet of Belegost rising from the West. It was the Kinigo home world to which he pointed, growing in size as the station slowly spun. “I am also Lord of Belegost, alongside my brother Emperor Ninjin Hattori of Beta Major,” he stating before turning his finger to the other station visible in the distance as the two traveled the planet’s orbit together.
“Technically I am Emperor Zasham as I am half of the Omega Diarchy, whom rule this system,” he said referring to the celestial bodies which circled Kalor; even the remains of Mement Mor. He did not wish to profess his titles to young lady, as such things tended to adjust people’s attitudes, effectively making them liars on a subconscious level. However she appeared as though she may be immune to such things. “So, Kallen, where are you from? Unlike myself, few are actually born on Alpha Prime, and still fewer live.”
