With his road decided now he was transported into the realm of Heaven where he would continue to grow stronger so that he could reach the things that he desired and hopefully go forward with his own mission. Right now he needed to find someone that he could train with to become even stronger than he was right now, but he wasn't exactly who he should ask about that kind of thing either. Maybe he should have tried to talk with that Ogre a bit more, and come to think of it, he hadn't even gotten his name either. Oh well, he supposed that if there was a next time he could ask about that. For now he would look for someone that might be able to help with his training preferably someone that suited his fighting style a bit, but he could always try training with different people as well while he was around to work on that. It would be a lot easier though if he knew about any people in Heaven that were strong, but this was his first time here so he didn't know anything about this place.
Walking up to a few of the other people he asked if there were strong people that could train him, and they told him about the rulers of the realm, the Kais. He didn't know who they were or anything, except that they were technically considered his bosses as Guardian, but that didn't really tell anything either. Heck, he had thought that they didn't really exist from what those books had said about them it was really refreshing to know how large the universe was and he would take in as much information about it all as he could. Crossing his arms in front of his chest, he tried to come up with an idea to find one of the Kais, but there wasn't a whole lot that he could think of honestly especially without knowing anything about them. Maybe the ogre had let them know he was coming? Rubbing the back of his head it was hard to figure all this out, he would just go with what felt like a good choice to get attention.
Since he was in the after life there wasn't too much to worry about anyways and so he let his power flow as freely as it could with the heavy weights, which was an odd thing to have followed him here. He wouldn't complain though he would continue to use them to their full extent as long as they would last for him. Plus, if he was going to be training with people then the weights would make the training that much more effective than without them and if he wanted the power to fully walk his path then he would need every edge that he could get. With his power flowing freely he would wait for someone to come so that he could request training.

Shizukesa had sensed the fall of the Earth’s Guardian. She had never been given the chance to interact with this one. She had on occasion gotten in contact with Kaladar Lox. He was an interesting sort of man; military generals always did have that strange aura. It was a sad day when a guardian of a planet was lost. There were several scattered through the universe but there were none quite as storied as the position of Earth’s guardian. The sleek flute extended from her lips and the sweet music swept through the air. This was one of her favorite hobbies that few knew about. The only person outside of herself that knew was Eregansu. Not even the Dai Kaioshin knew of this hobby of hers.
Her eyes would remain closed as the Guardian of Earth approached her locations. Her silver blue hair would hang almost all of the way down to the rock that she sat on. She would continue playing the flute all the while he moved closer. It was rare that Shizukesa made an appearance to a new soul herself. This was often left to one of her close friends. But she wanted to greet Conri Lane herself. She wanted to meet the Guardian for the first time. She wanted to see why Kaladar Lox had picked this man to follow in his steps. Kaladar could have found many capable guardians but she wanted to know why this mand and why when it did happen.

While he moved through the area hoping to find one of the Kai that he heard the sound of music nearby, though it was faint at first he moved towards the sound without a second thought. Walking closer to the sound of the music he lowered his power once more, and even began to lower it below normal so that he wouldn't startle whoever was playing when he happened to find them. He didn't need to do anything but let his ears guide him at the moment as the music became louder and clearer, the sound of a flute playing and with such an enchanting tone, he would like to meet the one that played so well. The music created a path for him to follow, one that would guide his ears throughout the area to the single person that was playing before him now.
However, upon reaching her it wasn't so that he could interrupt, instead he would sit nearby to listen to the song she was playing. There he would close his own eyes and enjoy the melody that was played, not that he was an expert on music, but he did know what he enjoyed at the very least. Whoever she was, she did have quite the musical talent with a flute and he was more than happy to spend a bit of time just listening to the music before he went to do anything else. Resting his head against his hands and propping them on his knees he would stay like this and listen to the music for as long as it would last.

The sound the flute had made was something that Shizukesa had always remembered from when she was young. She had been one of the first of the kais to be born after the Great War. There were those that had survived the war itself but it left many of the survivors broken and weak. Nowadays they simply found their own peaceful hideaways either in Heaven or the realm of the Dai Kaio. It was in fact the Dai Kaio that had gifted this flute to her when she was young and said to hold on to it. That she might one day grow to love its music. It was the first step in the friendship and mentorship the Dai Kaio showed to the young female kai at the time. In time she would grow under the tutelage of her mentor and to the point that she would become wise enough to be able to assume guardianship over Heaven.
The music that emanated from the flute was sweet and whimsical but it had another aspect that she had developed. One that she did not think that even the Dai Kaio knew about. Together with a little magic and power from Shizukesa the flute was able to draw aspects of the personality of the audience to the surface. They would be forced to face what truly resided within their souls. Not many could and that was why she kept this secret from almost everyone.
She wanted to test the newly minted Guardian of Earth. She wanted to see what was hidden beneath his skin and behind his walls. She had watched the trial at Yemma’s but she wanted to know for herself. Shifting her tone and without opening her eyes the music slowed down. It became more somber and heavier. This type of music was designed to bring out the memories that had clung to the listener and weighed on them. This was a song of regret and one that would not end until he faced all of the demons that he had tried to run from.

Listening to the music he heard the change in tone from the sweet and whimsical to a much more somber, heavy tune it was still excellent music regardless of that though. Something was a bit different with this music as well though he felt a strange feeling wash over him, but he couldn't tell what exactly was going on that caused this strange feeling that seemed to try to pull on his emotions in some fashion. It felt like it was trying to pull out an emotion from him searching for something very specific, what could it be? The truth of the matter was that at this moment, there were no regrets or demons that Conri had not faced; over the half a year of training he'd learned to focus his thoughts through meditation and that allowed him to face his old demons. The only new one that he had was recently solved by the words of the red ogre that had set him on this new path and his own thoughts, he had learned a lot from the few words that they had exchanged. Not only did it set him forward, but made him realize the mistake he had made about himself in the midst of the battling, something he planned to work on fixing here as well.
"It's such a sad tune, are you yourself sad?" he asked the woman who had continued playing up to the time when he arrived, though he had not opened his eyes just yet. He had heard at least that sometimes people expressed themselves through their art, but he wasn't sure if this was such an occasion. He couldn't say for sure one way or the other, but it seemed that way with the sudden change in the tune she played. Maybe he could talk to her about what bothered her if that was the case, it would likely delay his training some but it would also be worth doing since it would be helping the woman out. He enjoyed doing the same with the Earthlings while he was training to become the Guardian, he would go down and speak to the citizens about pretty much anything that they wanted to talk about with him. None knew his identity, but he had spent plenty of time amongst them. While he was here he may as well do the same for all those he came across, it was part of the path that he wanted to walk and it was something that he would stick to as well.
"My name is Conri Lane, by the way. Who might you be?" he figured that he might try to strike up a conversation, it might be fun to converse a bit more with someone who was in the Heavenly Realm, maybe he could learn some things. At the very least maybe he could get a pleasant conversation.

Shizukesa was surprised that the Guardian of Earth did not carry a single regret or sadness. Most mortals were not like this especially ones that wielded power like his did. Whether it is that he had not saved someone when he was young or currently or whether he could have done something different in his life time. The Guardian of Earth always carries baggage even the great guardian Kami carried the baggage of King Piccolo. Having baggage did not mean that you were weak; it meant that you were living your life.
Ignoring Conri Lane Shizukesa shifted the tone of her flute once again. It shifted from the sad and somber tone that it was reverberating. The tone it shifted was strange. At first it would almost be unrecognizable and almost painful to hear. After a few more moments it would become clear to the listener as something that would tear at the soul. Like before the music would slowly dig away in the soul of the listener except this time it was not digging for sadness, it was digging for anger. The music wanted to see what resentment and anger resided in the soul.
Shizukesa wanted to see what kind of man she was dealing with. It was perfectly okay to give into the memories of pain and anger. No one was going to say otherwise. Yemma had judged his soul to be worthy to be standing before her now. The Guardian of Heaven wanted to know what Conri Lane truly hated and what sent him over the edge. She wanted to see the root of the Saiyan’s power.

For Conri the regrets and sadness only interfered with his moving forward to becoming not only stronger, but better as a whole, he would always remember the events that occurred though. His focus was to prevent those incidents from happening once more, even if he lost or failed he would use the experience to learn from his mistakes while becoming strong enough to do what he wanted. He would use his memories as a source of strength to continue moving forward, he had grieved over all his past mistakes and accepted them as what they were. They had caused him to make too many mistakes, so he needed to sort them out and push past any sadness that he might feel regarding them, while making sure to keep them in mind to strengthen him both mentally and physically for his goals.
Unfortunately, the woman chose to not answer his question concerning if she was sad, and also the introduction that he had tried to make. There was also the change in tune once more, why did she keep switching musical tunes so often? There was a sudden sharp pain inside of him as the music seemed to be tearing at his soul, digging for something inside of him once more as it searched for something specific. It was the anger that he held within him that it searched for, the things that made him angry and wanted to draw them to the surface for whatever reason. The bad side to this was that Shizukesa was doing one of the things that did anger him, which was prying into his mind/emotions without asking for his permission before doing so. There were other thoughts and memories linked to anger as well for him, the first and foremost being the worst of all the experiences that caused hatred and rage was that of seeing his wife and children murdered before him. The fact that their were people that would murder the innocent for such foolish reasons, without any regard for anything else just because some 'god' thought it was appropriate.
It was the anger tied to those memories as well that would cause the surge of power to flow through him, causing him to trigger his super saiyan form almost immediately when the rage was brought to the surface. It wasn't stopping there either as the rage pushed his power into his ascended form with his muscles increasingly slightly with the power and then finally his body became much more massive in muscular density as his power pushed even higher. The next anger that surfaced was from Akassa having started to walk down a darker path, though it paled to the anger that came from the UCOO it was still powerful in its own right. Someone he cared about was letting themselves walk down a path that would only lead to a darkness for everyone involved, however, that rage was channeled into a more useful manner as motivation for him getting stronger. However, this was not something Conri appreciated someone just digging around inside his own soul for something that could have just been asked and through gritted teeth made a request, "Please, whatever you are doing, stop."

There was the reaction that she had hoped for. The Guardian of Earth let his rage snake its way through his body. Rage was often the power of the Saiyans as they were quick to temper. In fact all of their greatest transformations required incredible emotional stress to even think that it is possible. His body grew monstrously in size as he ascended to his strongest form. It was enough that it would pose Shizukesa a challenge if it came to blows but the kaioshin trustiest her instincts. She wanted to see how far she would be able to push the Saiyan to see what his limits were. If he was going to walk down the path of good and righteousness he was going have to struggle with this thin line between controllable rage and the madness of wrath.
Still without looking at the Guardian of Earth Shizukesa adjusts her tune slightly. While it would continue to drive into the rage that had latched itself to the Saiyan she would begin to give something that he may not want to face. Her music would twist the hatred to show him images of Akassa standing over the ruins of countless civilizations in her legendary form. He would be able to see the banner of the Lunar Saiyans flying off in the distance. This image would morph into the droves of endless robotic armies that the Universal Church of One descending down upon Earth. The robotic army cutting down all those that they deemed to be unworthy and impure.
Shizukesa wanted to see what the limit of Conri Lane was. Only then could she be able to talk with him and begin to aid the Guardian of Earth as she knew him to be capable of.

His anger continued to be pulled at by the music and Conri could only wonder why she was doing this to him, bringing out all this rage from within. What was she hoping to accomplish by doing this? The worst part was that it seemed like she wasn't done with whatever she had planned either as even though he asked for her to stop, she seemed intent to continue going. Even worse was that the tune took on another sound as it delved deeper for his rage and began to twist images within his mind into some kind of new nightmare for him, as if trying to see if his anger could get any worse. The images that she had decided to show were ones that certainly would get his anger to reach a new height, he hadn't imagined it would be possible for him to get angrier than he already had been up to now.
The images brought out an anger inside of him that he didn't even realize was there, watching the ruined civilizations standing behind Akassa caused a surge to flow through him, knowing that she killed countless of innocent people to do it. Something deep down inside of him began to unleash itself, a rage that was buried deep down slowly started to seep up towards the top, drawn out by the images of Akassa walking down a much worse path than he imagined. The one that sent him over the edge though was what appeared after the image dissolved to that of the UCOO coming to Earth with their robotic armada and laying waste to all the people for their own stupid, selfish reasons. That extra little spark caused the rage to erupt from his body all at once and released with the sound of a primal roar; his power bursting from his body no longer being fully contained within. Sending a wave of pressure across the area where they were at as his voice shook the air with the rage it held, even the power that he currently held would spike and then return to what it was.
The necessary rage was there, but his body could not handle it, though it would not stop trying to push the power as it slowly began to tear at his muscles to be released fully. Electricity sparking occasionally leaving scorch marks across the ground as he hands moved to his head to try and hold himself together, the Half-Saiyan's rage was now unleashed in its full extent.

The power was almost at the pinnacle of his being. There was only one final limit he had to break in order to access the power he truly needed to be Guardian of Earth. He would have needed this power with the threats that remained hidden to his eyes. The threats that remained cloaked in mystery just beyond the nearest star’s light. These were not the only threats though. Akassa Hattori threatened to plunge Earth into chaos as the power that swirled within her had enough to not only drive her down the darker path that she was walking now but into madness. Power like hers which stands alone for even a brief time was enough to warp all the reality around her. Unfortunately the opportunity to save her may have passed by those who truly care about her.
Shifting the tone in the flute one final time it would continue its provocative tone but at the very end there would be a calming effect. If the Saiyan was able to display this much power to the kaioshin then that meant he was capable of great things. But to be truly great meant that you were able to control the power that dwells within. You could fire a blast that is powerful but erratic or you could fire a blast that is controlled and compact. The latter will always be more powerful than the former. That was what the Saiyan had to do here and now. He had to control this power that dwelled within him to be the hero he strove to be.
The time was now. Was he going to fail or was he going succeed?

The storm of rage continued to swirl within his mind as his body tried to break barriers that his body was not ready for just yet, but it continued to try with the sheer anger that emitted from his body. It revealed that he had much more power buried deep within and that it would just be a matter of time before he was able to utilize it to the fullest extent. As it was right now he wasn't strong enough to take those steps, he had to focus on what was happening, but no matter how hard he tried the rage would drown away all his thoughts when he tried to focus them on regaining control. The opportunity for that would come soon when the music took a different change once more, still pulling at his emotions before adding a calming effect at the end of it. With the music not pulling as forcefully and even trying to soothe the rage now, he was slowly able to gather his thoughts about what had been going on just now.
The images were just that, they weren't real things and that was the most important thing in his mind right now as he used it as a means to anchor his sanity and reason to prevent the rage from being able to overwhelm them. He had to fight against himself to regain control, the outer body reflecting this clearly as his hands would clench on the ground digging into the dirt of the planet. His thoughts were becoming much more focused as well, realizing that he needed to become more powerful for several reasons with the foremost being the images that he had been shown. While they were just that now, they could be transformed into a dark future for the universe and that was something that he could not let happen. There was a lot that needed to be done it seemed and there was so much going against him right now, that it seemed and impossible battle, but he would fight until the very last. If his anger was the issue here then he would need to vent it all and then channel the power into a more useful form so that he could expend it without causing himself any additional harm.
Forcing himself to stand as his muscles, tendons, and nerves all were being damaged from the overload of rage and power, he unleashed a loud yell that echoed through the area as his power would slowly begin to encircle his form. While he released his anger the part of his mind that stayed rational was working to draw in all the power he had been releasing outwardly into himself once more, to release it in a way that it would not harm others his body took on an unusual stance. With his left foot forward and his right been pulled back slightly he cupped his hands together bringing them together behind his back as a visible sphere of energy formed. Bio-electricity sparked from around the young warrior as he focused all the built up energy through the energy that had been created, increasing the hum of raw power that the technique created. With the excess power being diverted he concentrated on calming himself down, as the energy continued to be drawn into him his muscles would begin to shrink once more as his aggressiveness diminished as well. Although through as this happened a strange occurrence caught his attention. As his muscles reduced in size he was not actually getting weaker, instead the strain of those forms was being lessened and he almost felt like he was becoming lighter.
No more was his energy rampaging on the outside of his body now, instead it was a storm contained within and one that would need to be faced head on to overcome. No more was he going to just let things happen around him, he was going to take control over his own destiny for good, he'd already let himself lose control during the battle in Central City. Betraying his own promise was what weakened him because he had let other perceptions cloud his own judgment just like his rage was clouding his mind now, but no longer would he allow that to interfere with his goals. As his muscles returned to normal the stress of the ascended forms was gone and in their place was a power that surpassed even them, one that came from the opposite of what Saiyan's normally utilized. His rage subsided in a much quicker fashion now with thoughts being focused like a laser, with the rage gone he had originally assumed that he had released the super saiyan form, however he could still feel incredible power flowing through his body. With the excess being contained within his hands, and he remembered where he had read about this technique, one of the books in the Lookout had described this technique that the defenders of Earth used long ago. In fact, one of the Saiyans of old which seemed to help him recall the name of this technique as well. Normally Conri was not one to call out a technique's name, however, this seemed to be a different case for the blue-haired warrior as he thrust his hands into the air and called out the name of his newest skill.
"KAMEHAMEHA!" with that word, the energy was released from the sphere as a beam ascending into the sky like a pillar of light, one that was a symbol to himself and would soon become a symbol for others. With the energy released he felt a bit tired and lowered his power to what it normally was, but something was off. He knew that he had powered down, but it seemed that he was still a super saiyan as evidenced by the golden hair that hung in front of his eyes. His hair style was back to normal, but the color still retained the golden hue from his transformation. Just what was going on? He hadn't heard about a form like this before, what was this one supposed to be? His first day in Heaven and he was already worn out, this was going to be an interesting time. (Requesting FPSSJ and Kamehameha as my Monarch, if Shizu is alright with me using the thread to learn it as well!)

He had done it. He had reached an entire different level. Gone was the rage, at least for now and it was replaced with control. This control on power meant that Conri Lane was ready to take the next step forward away from the gray area that many mortals nowadays liked to live in and more into the light. This was the moment that he was going to remember for a considerable period of time. Putting down the flute on the rock beside her the kaioshin could not hide her smile as the beam of energy began to dissipate. Her hands lightly began to clap in front of her before she took a step upwards and began to walk towards him with her hands still clapping. She was ready to finally speak to him. This Guardian of Earth, or rather former Guardian of Earth had the potential to be great.
“That was very impressive. I am sorry that I had to do that but I feel like you truly understand what I was aiming at now. But I guess pleasantries are in order Guardian of Earth. Conri Lane, I am the Guardian of Heaven. I am Shizukesa and it is a pleasure to meet you. Welcome to my home.” She smiled as she took a slight bow before returning upright with that ever present smile on her face.

It didn't take that long for his energy to start returning to him as he rested, thankfully he'd managed to get control over his emotions when the flute stopped dragging them out from within. To say that they were overwhelming would be an understatement of epic proportions, painful and scarring would be a bit more appropriate for what had been force onto the young Half-Saiyan. Taking in a few deep breaths to fully relax, he was still surprised that he had managed to find a new power within the normal super saiyan form, who would have guessed that there was such a thing? Finding the aggressiveness was completely gone and replaced with a calmer state of mind was both a surprise as well as something to be happy about for him. Never once had he truly liked the aggressiveness of his transformation when it would generally make him more susceptible to making decisions he normally wouldn't even consider.
Thoughts were broken by the sound of clapping nearby, lifting his head to see the woman having risen from her seat and approaching him with a smile on her face. While he understood to an extent why she had done what she did, he was still not entirely happy about it being forced onto him. Still he wasn't going to hold it against her, he just hoped that people forcing their way into his mind/emotions wasn't going to be a common occurrence. Still she introduced herself fully with a bow to him, and he pushed himself from the ground to do the same in return, bowing to her as well.
"I think I get the gist of it, although I would have appreciated a bit of asking first. Still, I thank you for welcoming me though all things considered I would have liked to come at a much later time," he laughed. Still, he was appreciative of everything that Shizukesa had done for him. "It is an honor to meet you, Shizukesa." He wondered what it was that brought the guardian of heaven to meet with him, he didn't think of himself as someone special, but there must have been a reason, right?

“Not all gifts are initially welcomed. Perhaps I thought your pride would lead to the refusal of my help?” Offer a shrug of her small shoulders she continues to wear that tiny, but pleasant smile. “As for it being an honor to meet me, you might want to take that back until we part ways…whenever that might be.” The statement left vague on purpose. Conri had been granted access to Heaven for his actions in life, King Yemma most often wise in his decisions even if one more recent visitor had been a mistake. That was neither here nor there though, she had taken the time to come meet him and she was not going to spend it getting lost in thoughts of the past.
“So, what do you think of my home?” She asks with a motion of her arm. Her casual tone making it seem as if they were meeting on some field in the realm of the living, the Kai having always been at home in the afterlife, this was not such a strange thing to her. Conri on the other hand might still regret how he had ended up here, possibly falling short of what his worldly title implied. The Guardian of Earth had failed in the eyes of many…yet the Earth still stood mostly unharmed. Shizukesa had decided to not bring that up for now, but perhaps as time went on.

"Maybe, however, I am not someone who thinks they can do everything by themselves. So whatever help you can offer I will graciously accept," he bowed his head to Shizukesa acknowledging that if there was anything else she wished to help him with then he would accept it. "Regardless of what happens it will be an honor to meet you," that is what he truly believed. It was not everyday that someone got to meet one of the Kais, he was happy to be able to meet Shizukesa that was the Guardian of Heaven. That was something impressive in and of itself, plus she had helped him achieve a new form upon meeting for which he was thankful to her. Then she asked what he thought about her home, a strange question to be sure, but he would give an honest answer about it.
"It is a beautiful and majestic place," he said looking around him once more, even though there were a lot of trees it wasn't hard to see through to the rest of the area around them. It reminded him of the view he had from the lookout, being able to see the Earth in its entirety and enjoy the majestic beauty that it too had. He wasn't quite sure just why she had asked that of him, but he had given his honest answer about it.
