The Free Radio Earth Enterprise. This was the name of the organization that had sent out the broadcast. This was what had brought the young, green-haired girl to Metropolis Island. Sitting inside a cafe, Ohkara sipped from a warm cup of coffee, both hands wrapped tightly around the cup. She was not used to being in such a large city, and after wondering aimlessly for a little while, she'd decided to get out of the less than perfect weather and warm up.
It had been raining sideways since she arrived and the young lady was soaked. Having changed out of her wet gi, and into a regular coat and jean combo, she figured now was as good a time as any to research her target a little more. Removing her phone from her pocket, she did a search on the organization. Opening a website, she was able to quickly find an email.
It felt like a shot in the dark, but she quickly typed up an email to send to them:
To whom it may concern,
My name is Ohkara Minamaru, and I am a trained martial-artist. I recently heard your broadcast and have found myself on Metropolis Island. I am eager to offer my assistance with your cause and am curious if you would be interested in arranging a meeting. I am available at any time, and can easily be reached back by this email. Please get back to me as soon as you can.
Regards,
Minamaru, Ohkara
Hastily hitting the send button, Ohkara slunk into her chair and returned to her coffee, sipping carefully. Black, one sugar, just like her father always drank. The smell alone was enough to bring memories flashing back into her mind. She hoped that he was proud of her and what she was committing herself to. He always told her to follow her heart, and that's just what she was doing. She had to protect this planet and the people in it. It was her duty.
The broadcast was what had lit the fire inside her. It made it clear that the Saiyans were monsters that had to be stopped. She had only recently learned of the real damage they had caused, and the casualty numbers kept growing. It sickened her that someone would attack innocent people like that. And it made her hate the Saiyans with a passion, even though she'd never met one. She was just ready to stop them before any more lives were lost. Hopefully she would soon be able to do just that... and just maybe her shot in the dark would work...
(I hope this is acceptable.)

It was by sheer luck that the message came in while Ethan was cruising in the vicinity of Metropolis Island, he wouldn't have to fly far and thus could continue to remain undetected. With his laptop sitting on the boat's consul, Ethan guided the craft along as various organization messages scrolled by, eventually an encrypted voice chat came up from one of the men working in the recruiting area. Raising an eyebrow at the oddly timed message, Ethan accepted the call, though usually he only got called from Mr. Brown on Tuesdays.
"Mr. Brown, how are you doing today? How are the kids?" Ethan asked, in fact delivering a recognition code. Mr. Brown of course had no children but his response was prearranged and if he gave the appropriate coded response, Ethan would know that he was secure and that the communication was not under duress.
"Afternoon Mr. Doe, They're fine sir, little Suzie just got a blue dress for her birthday." the reply came, the man's voice distorted by the heavy inscription layered on top of voice altering software that was in use. The name of the girl, color of her dress and the occasion on which she received it were all individual codes. The three word strung together indicated to Ethan that all was well, the line was fully encrypted and that Mr. Brown was alone. From that point on they could relax their coded language, although some misdirection was still employed.
"Good to hear. What brings you to my screen? We weren't supposed to have a company video chat for another few days." Ethan responded.
"I know sir but I came across a new account that I thought you'd be interested in. Apparently a martial arts school in Metropolis is looking for a loan. I normally wouldn't have bothered you with it until later but I know how much you like sports so I didn't think there was any harm."
"Interesting. Thank you Mr. Brown. Send me a copy of their financial records to the usual drop and then make sure to run the usual background checks. Oh, also remember to have my secretary take my suit to the cleaners." Ethan responded, once more using a coded reply indicating that Mr. Brown was to erase all evidence of the attempted contact from the young lady who'd reached out to them. This would of course keep the organization safe and the young woman as well should anyone have been monitoring her computer.
"Already handled sir. Enjoy your vacation."
"Thank you Mr. Brown, I will." Ethan concluded and then closed the chat.
It took a few minutes for the data to be collected, encrypted and then sent on the seemingly wild goose chase that was the method of data transfer when using a TOR network. Ethan didn't have to wait too long though and within twenty minutes he was perusing the young lady's information as well as her phone's current location. She was indeed in Metropolis, the phone was pinged as being close to three cell towers in a commercial district of the city. Her statistics were certainly interesting and she didn't appear to have any government ties which was a mixed blessing. Ethan had been looking for more government recruits so that information could be scavenged more widely without having to used the wire taps in Central Crater too often. Unfortunately government agents also required special handling to ensure they weren't double agents. This young lady though didn't appear to have any ties however according to her background check, so Ethan went ahead and arranged a reply. An anonymous email issued back to the young lady containing only a few words.
"Go to the beach, 5 o'clock. Talk to the surfer. He will note that the sun is shining. Reply with 'But the ice is slippery.'"
Ethan could hardly contain himself at the little joke he'd included, the code he'd employed in the email was out of a great old film that had a spy ring in it and a Shadowy figure running the whole thing, fighting off the bad guys and such. Still chuckling to himself, the boy brought his boat to a relative halt and dropped the anchor. although it was raining, the seas were relatively calm so he'd be able to leave the craft unattended for a time without risk of waves washing over it. Kicking off his boots as he saw no need for them to get completely soaked, Ethan headed out on deck in just his pants. He set his little music player to the same surveillance mode that all others in the organization used and then leapt off of the back of the boat, materializing his board and then took off across the water towards Metropolis Island.

Ohkara smiled to herself as she finished her cup of coffee. She had finally gotten dry and had warmed up enough to start her search once again. Slinking a backpack over her shoulder, the girl tossed a few Zeni on her table and headed for the door. As she neared it, she noted that the rain had not given up at all, but the wind had slowed. Her eyes quickly scanned the cafe, in search of something that might aid her.
Eyes setting on a few large umbrellas, Ohkara walked over and placed her hand on one. These were hand crafted wooden umbrellas. By no means were they cheap, but they were made sturdy. So sturdy, in fact that one could go against a bokken practice sword. Her hand slid down to the handle, which she grasped with the skill of a swordsman. Raising the umbrella into the air, she admired it closer. The craftsmanship was incredible, and it was truly a piece of art. Not only that, but they had one in her color. It was settled; she would not be leaving the store without one.
After her outrageous purchase, Ohkara left the cafe. Her bright yellow umbrella was about three and a half feet long, rivaling that of a bokken in length, and when opened provided more than enough rain coverage for someone of her size. Proudly twisting it as she walked through the rain, Ohkara felt peaceful, it was the first time in a while since she had a purpose, and it felt good. So good in fact, she almost missed the sound of her phone in her pocket as it told her she had a new email.
The email was an anonymous one, something that she had little experience with. There was no subject, and the email itself was very short:
"Go to the beach, 5 o'clock. Talk to the surfer. He will note that the sun is shining. Reply with 'But the ice is slippery.'"
At first she was a little confused, not about the email itself, but the code she was supposed to reply with. This was obviously a response to her email to the Free Radio Earth Enterprise, which was something that was a little surprising in itself; she had not expected to receive a reply back, especially so quickly. But the fact was that she had, and now it was time to react.
---
On her way to the beach, Ohkara pondered what this surfer might look like. He was involved with a business, so he had to be experienced in something. Most likely an older man, perhaps in his thirties or forties. If he was a surfer, chances were he was fit. By her guess, she'd be meeting with an older business man. The thought made a light blush run over her face and a playful giggle accidentally leave her mouth. Such thoughts were so ridiculously embarrassing!
She arrived at the beach right on time. Scanning the scenery, Ohkara took a deep breath. There was really nothing like a day at the beach, even if it was raining. However by this point the rain had lessened to a slight drizzle as the sun began to try to peak out from behind the clouds. Maybe this was a sign that this meeting would go well...
Stepping up to the sand, Ohkara removed her shoes and slung them over her shoulder; one of her biggest pet peeves was sand in her shoe, then she headed out towards the water. Stopping where the tide was coming in (or going out, whichever it would be), she let the water rush up over her toes. From there, she walked up and down the beach, in search of the mysterious surfer.
The weather had detoured any one else from visiting the beach, and Ohkara felt uneasy as she walked it alone, but she knew she could handle herself. It was just a feeling she hoped to not have to experience for long. Hopefully this guy wouldn't keep her waiting.

With the rain still pouring down around him as he cruised over the lightly rolling seas, Ethan was completely soaked by the time he reached the shores of Metropolis island, his skin glistening with droplets of water, accentuating his compact, toned musculature. Ethan had no idea his guest was expecting someone older and likely buffer then he was but that really didn't mean much to him anyway, frankly he never thought guys looked good if they got too big, he was the ideal build in his own eyes, and his brother was the largest one could be without starting to look like a muscle bound monster. Regardless of what the young lady was expecting, Ethan's young form was what would greet her. Gliding in just over the water's surface, Ethan was a few hundred feet out when a wave started to form behind him, fortuitous timing, else the boy would have used his ability to manipulate water to form one of his own. Dropping his ethereal board lower and finally into the water, the boy surfed in toward the shore in a more conventional manner, ridding the curl of the rolling wave diagonally along the beach until he spotted the young woman, not that she was hard to miss, she was one of the only people there. Ethan was actually a bit surprised, usually bad weather brings out the surfers just as much as good, but he guessed the relative calm was what had kept them away.
Turning directly towards the young lady as she walked along the shore, the shirtless, blue haired teen cruised in and when he reached the beach, nosed his board into the sand as he usually did. The board came to an immediate halt and Ethan ran off the end of the immaterial vehicle onto the sand and as his feet left the glowing blue surface of the construct, his vanished. Smiling as he jogged up to the young lady, Ethan stopped just short of her, breathing a little hard from the exertion of flying such a distance while wearing his training weights and yet suppressing his power as far as he was.
"Afternoon miss." the boy panted. "Hope I didn't scare you. Couldn't resist catching some waves while the sun is shining."

Out of the corner of her eye, Ohkara caught sight of some kind of blur whipping through the sea. Turning to face it, she noted someone far out on the water headed towards her. Her first thought was that this was the man she was waiting for, the surfer, but as he neared to beach, Ohkara began to wonder if perhaps this was someone else. The closer he got, the more details that she could make out. He had beautiful bright blue hair, which he wore short, spiking it up. His body was toned, but he wasn't by any means overly buff. With his slender build, Ohkara guessed he might be somewhere in his mid-teens. "There is no way this is him," she thought to herself as she watched him nose his board into the sand, and ran off the end of his board, propelled from the sudden stop.
However, confirming her first thoughts, the boy jogged up to her, panting lightly "Afternoon miss," he greeted her, "Hope I didn't scare you. Couldn't resist catching some waves while the sun is shining." For a second, Ohkara stared at him in disbelief, a light red blush rushing over her face as she watched the rain water run off his pectoral muscles. Suddenly realizing she was staring after a moment, Ohkara jumped back and lifted her head to met the boy's gaze at eye level. There was still doubt in her mind, but she had one more way to confirm that this was the guy, "b-but..." What was that line?
Shaking her head, she put her confusion aside for a second and concentrated on remembering. "It had something to do with the cold, right?" No, that wasn't right. How could she be this flustered? She needed to cool down somehow and really think about things. If this was the mastermind behind F.R.E.E., then she would need to show him how collective she was, not how clumsy and forgetful she could be. She needed to play things cool, not act like a fool. Suddenly the code popped back into her head and she smiled confidently, she finally felt in control again. Opening her mouth to speak, she let out a light sigh, then: "BUT THE ICE IS SLIPPERY!"
Her part had come out much more like a shout than a comment. Blushing a bright red as she realized what she'd done, Ohkara quickly bowed her head in apology, "I-I'm sorry!" she exclaimed, her hands balling tightly in her lap as she kept her face hidden. She had thought she had control, but obviously, that was not the case. She'd never been so flustered before in her life. What was happening to her? "Uh, I just got caught on a bad day!" she told herself, "Yeah, that's it."
Hopefully the boy would excuse her sudden spell of whatever had just happened. Sure, Ohkara found this boy attractive, but no more so than any of the other boys she'd had pursue her. Maybe it was just the fact that she had expected pretty much the opposite of him. Regaurdless, Ohkara would now be stuck in conversation with this boy, and she would have to find a way to return things to normal...
"But oh man... If he was just a few years older..."

Smiling and delivering his code in the most nonchalant way possible, Ethan couldn't help but notice her stare lingered for what might be fore some, an uncomfortable amount of time, on his body. Not for Ethan though, he was pretty used to it and was actually pretty happy he had the kind of build that brought this type of reaction, so he just continued to smile as she dragged her eyes up his chest and finally met his own gaze. Something must have made her nervous though, possibly his dress? Nah, she was told to expect a surfer. His age maybe? Maybe. Something though had definitely disturbed the young lady, but she still managed to remember her pass code and delivered it word for word, all be it with decidedly more zeal then he'd expected. Ethan chuckled as she seemed to be all in a tizzy about her own actions and started to bow and apologize. 'Oh geez, not that. Don't be like that other girl.' Ethan though to himself and quickly held out his hands.
"It's all right, you don't have to apologize." the boy laughed. "Just do yell anymore. And please, don't bow, I'm just a messenger." Ethan continued and lowered one hand while extending and offering her his other. "My name's Ethan, Mr. Brown told me to meet you here." Ethan didn't feel there was any danger in using his real name here, even on the very unlikely event that she was a spy sent to infiltrate the fledgling organization, all he appeared to be was a minor functionary, no one could possibly know that he was in fact the head of the whole freedom movement. In fact Ethan had met personally with many of the people that were now in important positions, always under the guise of working for a Mr. Doe, the name given to him by the shopkeeper in Metropolis. Here was no different and so Ethan was secure in the knowledge that the Saiyans wouldn't bother to kidnap a messenger, especially one who was just a kid.

"It's all right, you don't have to apologize," He told her with a laugh. Upon hearing him laugh, Ohkara began to calm down. Her shoulders began to slack, as did her grip on her shoes and umbrella, in fact she had almost forgotten that she had been holding them. Taking a deep breath, she was not beginning to compose herself, and just in time as he spoke again: "Just don't yell anymore. And please, don't bow, I'm just a messenger," he told her, extending his hand out to shake, "My name's Ethan, Mr. Brown told me to meet you here." For a second, Ohkara would look somewhat saddened that he was just a messenger, but that would quickly pass as she caught herself. She was honestly just as surprised to be meeting with anyone as she was to have gotten a reply from her email.
Ohkara smiled kindly at his introduction and, with unintentional precision and grace, spun her bright, yellow umbrella around in her hand, and slide it between her belt and her right hip, like a samurai with a sword. Subconsciously, she might even have been showing off a little, but with her hand now free, she as able to grab Ethan's hand. Her grip would be firm, and she would give him her best business-class handshake, just to show him she really meant business, "My name is Ohkara, but I am sure you know that already. Thank you for coming."
Releasing his hand, she stepped back and took one more look at him. By this point, she had composed herself, and was almost ready to seriously discuss the reason for her meeting; however there was still something that bothered her. Ohkara's brow rose, and her thumb touched her bottom lip as she thought for a second. Then, with about as much grace as she had had before, she said, "How old are you?" A bright red blush quickly rushed to her cheeks, but this time she would not be backing down from her actions. She really wanted to know how old this boy was; the idea of such a young man being involved with something like F.R.E.E. seemed so bizarre to her.
Perhaps that was a sign of how dire the situation really was. That they would reach out to the young public for help; she hoped things were not that bad. More realistically, maybe this boy was really talented and was a just an exception to the normal. Feeling out for his energy, Ohkara would not be able to read anything outstanding; he seemed like a normal, untrained human, but with the way his surfboard had just vanished, she knew otherwise. She could tell that there was something special about him.

Raising an eyebrow as the young lady rather fancily put her umbrella out of the way and gave his hand a surprisingly firm shake, Ethan kept on smiling, happy to see some of that skill she spoke of in her initial message. After the shake Ohkara stepped back and take another obvious look at Ethan which only made the boy chuckle to himself again. She was blushing now which pretty much confirmed for him that she found him attractive aid again it wasn't anything new to him but it never got old. Then she asked, still looking him over, how old he was and Ethan had to restrain himself from chucking again, he didn't succeed and it escape as he folded his arms up behind his head, ostensibly giving the young lady an even better view of his body.
"Heh heh. Nice to meet you Ohkara." the boy continued to chuckle. "I'm sixteen, and if I remember your info correctly, your about twenty one right?" the boy continued, fully aware that he was being teasingly flirty with his body language. It wasn't so much that he was feeling a mutual attraction but more that he was simply enjoying the attention and the flustered reaction of a few moments ago. It also didn't hurt to keep the young lady off balance a little, he was after all supposed to be checking her out for the organization, not just making friends.
"So it Mr. Brown also told me your a martial artist. Must be pretty good if you've listed that as a main skill set. Mr. Doe is particularly interested in martial artists, it's why he sent me to meet you." Ethan concluded, still smiling with his arms held relaxed behind his head, water still cascading down his body as the rain continued to slowly ease up. By now actual sunshine was starting to peek through the clouds here and there and Ethan felt that if he'd arrived a little while later, their identifier code might have actually been more applicable, well except for the part about the ice.

Ohkara was not surprise that Ethan would laugh at her for outright asking something like that. It was a rude question, and she knew it; however even that hadn't stopped her. Sometimes she was a little hard headed. Regardless of any of that, she turned a brighter shade of red; something she might have thought impossible before that very moment. And things were made even worse when he rose his arms, as if showing off, toying with the girl.
Gulping hard, Ohkara as he spoke to replied: "Heh heh. Nice to meet you Ohkara. I'm sixteen, and if I remember your info correctly, your about twenty-one right?"
"There you go, he's too young..."
"Wait... Huh?... What did he say? Was is sixteen?"
Taken back, the green-haired girl jumped back, her breath caught in her thoat. No way had she been expecting to be told this young man was sixteen. She had been sure he was at least nineteen. "And with such a body... Just imagine what he'll look like in a couple years..." Suddenly Ohkara's head shook furiously, as she tried to snap herself back into reality. After a second, Ohkara returned, a sudden determination burning in her eyes. Something that might be familiar to Ethan, depending on what his life was like.
"So Mr. Brown also told me you're a martial artist. Must be pretty good if you've listed that as a main skill set. Mr. Doe is particularly interested in martial artists, it's why he sent me to meet you."
Her blush faded as a smirk crossed over her face; that was much more like it. Now she could push what had happened earlier away, and really start to shine. "You are well informed, Ethan," She had finally found that "cool" she wanted to display earlier. A giggle escaped her as she straightened her stance, "I kinda know who Mr. Brown is; he was the guy I emailed. But Mr. Doe? Who is he?"
Removing her backpack from her back, she quickly unzipped the larger pocket and placed her shoes, which she had been holding this whole time for some reason, into it. Zipping it back up, she walked up back up the beach, and placed it in a somewhat dry spot. At this point, she was sure glad she had sprung for the waterproof version of it. Turning back towards Ethan, she would crack her knuckles.
"And what exactly does he have planned for our meeting?"

Standing by with his arms still up behind his head, Ethan watched with flagrant amusement as Ohkara reacted to the revelation that he was only sixteen. Not that he wanted to tease her too much, but the reaction was priceless and he intended to strike this or any number of similar poses when ever possible from now on, even if just to get a frustrated sigh. As he stood by listening, the young lady went on and asked about Mr. Doe, who was in fact Ethan be the boy wasn't going to let that fact slip out, he was after all 'just a messenger.' He did notice that as she shifted topics she finally got a hold on all of the blushing and put on a very determined visage, one that indicated she was finally getting down to business.
"Ah, yeah, Mr. Brown handled applications." Ethan explained. "Mr. Doe on the other hand, well he's the guy in charge, at least as far as I know. Everything is handled through messengers and secure email and dead drops so we don't actually meat the higher up face to face. Keeps them safe in case someone gets caught." the boy went on, then watched as the young lady took off her pack and stuffer her shoes inside, setting the bag down a few paces away and returned, her body language now decidedly more aggressive as she approached and asked what had been planned for their meeting. Ethan thought her meaning was quite clear, she'd gotten over the initial school girl reaction and now wanted to get her hands on his body, although not in the way a school girl might. He left his arms up though for the moment and replied.
"Well it seems you already know what we've got planned." the boy started. "Show me what you've got." he added and spread his legs to better distribute his weight, then lowered his arms slightly and brought his elbows around the sides of his head. His arms were still up way to high to defend anything but his head so it was clear the boy was, for the moment, leaving everything else open, whether he was inviting her to take a free shot or get teasing, Ohkara would have to guess. In his own mind though Ethan had already made up his mind to go easy on her as he's done in the beginning of his sparring match with Akassa many months ago, he's given the psycho queen a free shot gauge her strength and would do the same here and like before he intended to dodge and parry after that or continue to take hits based on what he learned from the first strike.

"Ah, yeah, Mr. Brown handled applications. Mr. Doe on the other hand, well he's the guy in charge, at least as far as I know." Ethan explained coolly, "Everything is handled through messengers and secure email and dead drops so we don't actually meat the higher up face to face. Keeps them safe in case someone gets caught."
"Hmmm..." Ohkara pondered aloud, her thumb pressed to her lip as she thought it through. To her that all seemed way too complicated, then again that was why she wasn't the one in charge such an operation. Just the fact that the group existed was proof enough that they at least knew a little bit of what they were doing. Still, Ohkara knew very little about them; she had simply offered her help, and now she would have to play way. And play, she would.
"Show me what you got," Ethan told her, his arms up to protect his face. Noting his stance, she let out a huff in disbelief. He had just told her to attack him, and yet here he was standing wide open. It was ridiculous of him to be acting like that, and it annoyed her. It was like he didn't believe that she was as skilled as she claimed. She'd make him pay for that.
Her foot kicked backwards, sending her flying towards him with impressive speed. However, she was holding her power level back at about twenty-thousand, not exactly sure what this sixteen year-old boy could handle; a full power attack might be going overboard. Nearing him, she would jump into the air and deliver a hard spinning kick with her right barefoot to his left side. Upon impact, her back would arch up, and her left barefoot would kick hard horizontally at his chest. If the second kick connected, she would be propelled forwards and pivot on her heel as she landed to once again face Ethan, a grin on her face, "How'd you like that?"

Still smiling as he stood by ready for the first strike, Ethan watched as Ohkara sprang into action, leaping towards him. Her actions were fast but Ethan was no light weight when it came to speed so as the young lady jumped into a spin and moved to slam a kick into his left side, the boy tensed up the latissimus on his left and twisted into the kick, give himself the best protection possible short of actually blocking the blow. While his ribs were spared too much damage, the kick stung none the less and left the skin under Ethan's left arm slightly red from the impact. The second kick however came out of nowhere and the boy barely had time to tense up his pectorals before Ohkara's foot crashed into his chest. Some breath was knocked out of him as he stumbled a few steps back but not nearly as much as would have happened if she'd taken advantage of his loosened abdominals. Still, not his chest was showing the same slight red discoloration as his left side but Ethan was still smiling.
"Heh, that was pretty good actually." the boy replied in answer to Ohkara's question, though Ethan did half suspect it wasn't so much a question as an affirmation that she knew she could dish out some punishing hits. With his weights on however and suppressing his power as far down as he was, Ethan might not actually be able to match her, but he'd give her a good workout and see exactly what she could do. "You want any more freebies or shall I get a little more serious?" the shirtless boy added, keeping his arms up and returning to his balanced stance.

Ohkara could feel the difference as her kick connect with Ethan's ribs. He had easily been able to react, tensing his muscle to lessen the blow. This told the young woman that his power level had to at least be equal to where she held hers. She smiled as her second attack caught him off guard, and once she landed and faced him, noted she was not the only one. It seemed that Ethan had more in mind than just standing.
"Heh, that was pretty good actually," he told her, his body reddened where the hits connected. "You want any more freebies or shall I get a little more serious?"
Ohkara let out a laugh, "Oh? You actually plan on fighting?" With a wink, she slunk down low, her right foot far in front of her left, her hands in the air in front of her, arms bent at the elbows, "You better not be all talk, big boy. Show me what you got!" Again, she would rush at him, her arm cocked back to deliver a powerful left hook towards Ethan's abdomen.
Feeling much more natural now, Ohkara was ready to give Ethan a fight. She had completely shaken off her earlier jitters, and now that her blood was pumping, she reacted the way she need to. Even though she would continue to hold her power steady at about twenty-thousand, she would be disappointed if Ethan could not back up his cockiness. After all, he was representing an organization, and Ohkara's hopes were high that he would not disappoint her.
If her punch connected with his stomach, she would fluidly send yet another kick with her right foot to his left side. At this point, she would be testing him, trying to bring out some of his hidden power and see exactly what it was that he was capable of. If that meant trying to land a few cheap shots, then so be it. And, maybe wiping that smile off his face would be a nice side-effect as well.

With his arms still up Ethan just kept right on smiling as Ohkara replied to him and even calling him quite the provocative name, 'big boy.'
"Haha! Sure I will, you just be ready for it when I do." the blue haired teen replied after the young lady he was facing stated that he'd better not be all talk and questioned if he was going to fight back. Of course Ethan wasn't all talk, he could handle himself quite well in a fight, however his sense of chivalry introduced an added complication, he'd have to defend himself without actually hitting his opponent. It was an interesting challenge, one that had only presented it's self once before and that sparring match quickly got out of hand when his opponent turned out to be a sadistic maniac intent on doing him real harm. Ohkara though seemed decidedly more decent so the boy wouldn't break his rule, he'd instead wait for an opening and weather what she threw at him until one came along.
Thankfully he didn't have to wait long, though he did have to suffer quite the strong punch to his midsection before his opening presented it's self. With his hands up, his body was wide open to Ohkara's punch he when her fist struck, she's find his exquisite physique surprisingly pliant. Her fist easily pushed into the boy's stomach, forcing out a breath of air. If it wasn't already obvious that he'd let her have that one too by leaving his abs loose, that smile was still plastered across his face in spite of the pained grimace that was also showing. Then she lifted her leg again, the right one and went for another kick to his already reddened left side. That was the opening he was needed and just as before, the shirtless teen tightened up and twisted into the kick to mitigate as much damage as possible, taking the impact with an accompanying grunt, he'd definitely feel that in the morning. However instead of just standing there taking the hit, this time Ethan unclasped his hands from behind his head and dropped his left arm down and looped it under Ohkara's leg, effectively trapping it against his side. Then once anchored the boy used his some of his hidden strength to twist and carry her off into a quick spin. He was quite sure it wouldn't be that hard, by her looks she couldn't possibly weight more then a hundred fifty pounds and he'd lifted several times that even with his weights. True his sleek body didn't bely such physical strength but it was there, just well disguised. Should his spin prove a success, Ethan intended to bring Ohkara around for two full revolutions to build up speed and then let go, hurling her towards along the beach. Following that he'd give his left side a tender rub and take a few deep breaths as he observed her landing.

As her punch connected, her fist pushed deeply into his stomach, knocking the wind out of him. A satisfied smile crossed her face and she thought. "I bet that knocked that stupid smile off your face," she thought to herself with a huff. However, to her surprise when she looked up, it was there and as dumb looking as ever. This was really beginning to piss her off. Gritting her teeth, she put as much energy into her kick as she could.
Again, Ethan was ready for her attack; and again, he shifted his body and tensed his muscles to lessen the kick. However, this time things were a little different. As her kick connected, she got no rebound, and thus was easily caught by Ethan's arm. It seemed this boy had some impressive muscle control. Helplessly, she watched as he spun on his feet, twisting her around with him. She felt like she'd been spinning forever when he released her, but in reality it had only been two rotations.
As she spun through the sky, she silently questioned what had gone wrong. Obviously there was little room for such close combat with him. She would have to change things up. A smirk swiftly crossed her face as she hatched a new plan. She had been itching to try out her new toy anyway.
It didn't take long for her to reach the ground, head first. Her arms shot out to catch her and she fluidly transferred her momentum forward into a somersault, sand kicking up furiously around her. Quickly recovering from her spin, she sprang to her feet and faced Ethan, squinting to see through the thick dust in the air. It looked like he was rubbing his side, but with that stupid smile, it was hard to tell if he was taunting her or not.
Again, Ohkara would rush him, however this time would be a little different. As she neared him, only a few feet away, her power level would spike at about thirty-thousand; Ethan had proven he could take it. As her toxic-green colored aura burst forward with her sudden spike, her left hand darted for her umbrella's handle. She drew the bright yellow parasol with all the precision and speed of a true samurai, and thanks to the increase in energy she was now even faster than before.
Aiming the blunt tip directly at the boy's stomach, she thrusts it forward, using the parasol as a make-shift rapier. If it connected it would not pierce, but with it's blunt end it wouldn't feel pleasant, and there was no doubt in Ohkara's mind that she'd have succeeded in wiping his smile from his face. If by somehow Ethan avoided the attack, or blocked it, Ohkara would likely be wide open for a counterattack.
