“I no longer sense Iishavoh so it seems you have, but shouldn't that be the question I am asking you?”
William’s confusion began to alleviate; not because the memories had returned, for they were not his too remember, but rather the most likely answer became apparent. The same demon that had reared its monstrous self at the Galactic Tournament had made its presence known while Watson had recovered from Iishavoh’s attack. Smiling, Willie would try to match Prometheus’s scrutinizing gaze with a smile.
“I-I must have hit my head during the fight is all.”
The apparent human said as he continued rubbing the same spot on his head. Though it felt as physical pain, it was actually the remnants of the assimilation of the biological android. Iishavoh struggled even now that all was lost; his light slowly waned into the eternal darkness that was the depths of Zasham. Willie, though it went against who he was, lied to the Lord of Alpha Prime, something he knew was as dangerous as it was difficult.
“So… You’ll be able to cure my mother?”
Therein lie the sole reason for the deception. To tell the meticulous Zex the truth; that sometimes he blacked out and some demonic presence took him over. If that was even the truth, to be honest William hadn’t the slightest clue to the true nature to this monster. Though regardless of the origin of the creature, he could not let Prometheus think him unreliable or a potential threat to the success of his mission…
His mother’s life hung in the balance.

Turning away from Willie the alien glances to Wrath before starting to nod a little. From the beginning of the match between the two, IIshavoh and Willie had not been holding back so such a blow to the head wasn’t beyond belief, even if it was not the best explanation. After the small moment of confusion the human seemed to get control of himself and focus so all appeared well. Prometheus had needed the more adaptable of the two, the one with the highest rate of survival so that was where his focus lied, not with their ability to take a hit to the head. Turning back to his newest employee Zex could only smile.
“Yes, I will be able to provide your mother with the treatment and attention she needs. She might have to be relocated so she can be monitored, but that will be up to her, I will not force it on her.” Slowly stepping up to Willie the Lord of Alpha Prime looks down at him, still smiling, but no less imposing. The slight hesitation to ask the question about his mother was a good sign; it meant he was not exactly comfortable with speaking up to Zex which implied he was at least somewhat afraid of him. In Zex’s mind he was certain the man would work out perfectly for him.
”Now, as I explained to IIshavoh before you proved his better I want you to understand what I will be requesting from you in turn for your mothers good health. In the near future I will be sending a team to investigate a growing…concern of mine and since you are going to be working for me now you will be in charge of leading that team. I have hopes that most on the team will be stronger than yourself, but you will still be in charge. I need someone that will follow a directive and make sure the others do as well. Also, this might prove to be dangerous and if things go sour you are to make sure to report back to me, that of course is something you need to keep to yourself. Is this understood?”
Up in the vent the servant just nods to the signal to be quiet. All he wanted to do was get back to work and then go home. The man had no deep loyalty to Zex beyond his employment and citizenship, only working for him because the pay was decent. Overhearing all of this meant nothing to him; he didn’t care what all these individuals’ stakes were and where this was leading him all, it wasn’t his problem. What his problem was, was the man behind him with a gun, yet sadly it was one he could do nothing about.

The tension within the boy grew as the mysterious alien lord turned away, toward the ever daunting presence that was his brother; Wrath. While Zex instilled fear through his eerily calm demeanor and the lore that surrounded him, Wrath did so by just standing. He was a hulking, brooding beast who visually reminded the boy of a twisted, swelled up version of his elder sibling. Prometheus was impossibly tall as it was, his lithe form close to eight feet in height, yet, not to be outdone, the behemoth was a almost a foot taller; and damn near just as wide.
William began to think that Prometheus found his explanation unbefitting a potential employee thus leaving Willie expendable. It was an unnerving thought given that, to a man of Prometheus status, expendability was synonymous with termination. Though true that his newfound strength had continued to grown gave him no comfort; he had seen firsthand the mighty devastation that was Wrath. Aptly named, the monster was the bubbling rage flowing beneath every street of Alpha Prime.
As a matter of fact, most new Wrath before Zex ever stepped into the spotlight. He had stood against the Icejin king to a standstill in the Omega War, when the PTO had attempted to take control of the entire collective. Though those legends might inspire fear, nothing truly instilled it as seeing the beast in action. When he had first arrived with his family, Willie had found the hollowed out asteroid even more dangerous than he had imagined. With the anonymity of the true ruler, and the fact that Wrath had not been since the war, had encouraged several rival factions to take control of Alpha Prime.
Watson Jr. had been out on a rather low level delivery, a Deliverer’s version of an “easy day” when all out war broke out between the factions. Still needing to meet his deadline, he persevered, ducking in and out of alleys and sticking to shadows. By mid day many lie dead, innocent or otherwise, and the property damage was insurmountable. Then he arrived; William was just about to make a run for the next cover when he landed in the center of all the mayhem. Stepping out of the crater he made, Wrath then began to slaughter every renegade with extreme prejudice.
It was sickening, horrifying even, watching him mutilate each and every last one of them. Those who attempted to ran suffered more while those who bravely, and foolishly, tried to stand against him died quickly. Willie could not even qualify it as a battle; more like a massacre. And now, standing in the manor of the Lord of Alpha Prime, right next to the large “window” he had helped install, William was sure he would be torn asunder. Then, finally, Zex turned back adorning a smile, though no comfort would be reaped from it.
“Yes, I will be able to provide your mother with the treatment and attention she needs. She might have to be relocated so she can be monitored, but that will be up to her, I will not force it on her.”
Prometheus comforted as he walked up the nervous wreck and peered down; his towering height ever so evident. The sinister smile still playing upon his lips; though his hands were held comfortably behind his back, William new full well he could erase him from existence without moving a muscle. Watson steadied his breathing however, pushing out all thought but those of his mother and sister. They would give his strength.
The apparent boy understood full well; he was the inside guy. A puppet who leads the puppeteer’s team in whatever manner the strings’ pull demanded. The idea of bossing around man far more powerful than he, without Zex’s power to back him, was none too enticing; but his mother’s renewed life was all he ever wanted. Mustering up all his courage, he thought once more of his father’s dying wish; protect the family.
“I will do whatever you ask, however you ask; none will know my true purpose. I must make a request though, despite the fact that I am no position to do so. Please… Take in my mother and sister while I am gone. Alpha Prime is a dangerous place, especially for a sickly woman and her small daughter; I fear for their safety while I am away. Your manor is so massive, I am sure you would never even notice them; it would be the best place to treat her.”
He swallowed hard; it was taking everything he had to keep his voice steady and his body firm. Wrath’s haunting pale eyes glared from the corner of the room while Zex continued to look down upon him. It was a calculated risk however, Willie guessed that Prometheus could not afford to lose, or kill, him with Iishavoh gone. He was not a man to allow anything to delay his agenda.
“My family’s guaranteed protection and my mother cured is all I ask. In return, I promise to fulfill every facet of my contract with you without question… And I am a man of my word; I have never broken a promise... Is it a deal?”
He held out his hand in the archaic tradition of shaking hands to seal a deal. Despite his attempts to steady himself, he could not stop the hand from trembling slightly. There was a desperation in his eyes; a son’s need to save his mother and a brother’s need to protect his sister meshed together within the hazel pools.

With his calm stare Zex stood looking down at his newest employee. Well he wasn’t an employee yet, but in a matter of moments he would be. Of course Mr. Watson had the right to reject the offer and terms Prometheus had laid down, but the Lord knew he would not, could not. As calm as ever, never really surprised by anything the alien lord casually raises his eyebrow as Willie adds in an additional request. Listening to the man’s amendment to their deal Prometheus keeps a smile spread across his lips.
Having a sickly woman and her daughter in his home was not an ideal situation for the alien in most cases, but giving it a quick thought Zex realized in this situation it was actually better for him. Willie stated that if this was agreed to that his service to Zex was set, following his orders unconditionally, but if the man’s family was living in Prometheus’ own home that meant the Lord of Alpha Prime had even more leverage of him if he needed it. Starting to nod slowly Zex’s long arm extends, clasping the human’s smaller hand in his.
”We have an understanding then. I will move your mother in tomorrow, as well as yourself. The three of you will live here until the mission begins, that way I do not need to send someone searching for you when the time comes.” There was no question in his statement, but the first of many commands the human was going to be getting over his employment. Giving Willie’s hand a final hard squeeze Zex releases it, slowly turning away from him once more.
”I am glad we spoke tonight Mr. Watson. You are free to return to your family now to inform them of their new residence. Make sure they are both ready to move tomorrow, some of my men will be showing up at midday.” Again the second part of the statement was an order even if it was delivered with a casual tone. Prometheus had no reason to be disrespectful or aggressive with his new employee, but he was going to be firm.

The eerie embodiment of drive and power nodded slowly while never lowering the façade of a smile. Willie knew Zex could not refuse; doing so would jepodarize his own plans. It may not have been wisest to “demand” that the shadow being in the known reaches of space personally look over his family, but William surmised all would be well. Prometheus may have thought them to be bargaining chips, though Watson would never have thought it.
To think that he’d use them as leverage would infer Zex would need William to do something which went against his moral compass. However, Willie had already given his word that he would follow orders without question. Never being the lying type, and having never broken a promise, the idea of Prometheus using his family to pressure him was superfluous; though one could hardly blame a man as careful as the Lord of Alpha Prime.
”We have an understanding then. I will move your mother in tomorrow, as well as yourself. The three of you will live here until the mission begins, that way I do not need to send someone searching for you when the time comes.”
The hand, seemingly frail despite its size due to the lithe figure of its owner, had more strength in than William had ever faced. Chewing the inside of his lips to hide the pain, Zex finally let go with one last agonizing squeeze. As soon as Prometheus turned away the boy clasped the hand behind his back, carefully massaging feeling back into it.
”I am glad we spoke tonight Mr. Watson. You are free to return to your family now to inform them of their new residence. Make sure they are both ready to move tomorrow, some of my men will be showing up at midday.”
The apparent human nodded with assurance as he shot another glance at the foreboding behemoth in the corner of the room. It was clear that his work for the careful creature had begun, with his first orders coming in the form of firm, yet polite, demands. Backing to leave, his hand still clenched behind his back in the least suspicious manner he could muster, he did a slight bow.
Being an awkward boy all his life, not to mention having never been in a situation even remotely similar, Willie was unsure of exactly what to do. Should he kneel? Salute? William was not a religious or military man, so he was left dumbfounded as he bowed slightly, still second guessing the gesture while performing it.
“As am I… I will head home now and get them ready. We will be ready for when your men arrive tomorrow… Lord.”
The last word felt funny to him, as he had never referred to anyone outside the titles of mister or misses. It was something I’ll have to get used to, he thought as he stood erect and exited the presence of his new master. It was true he had given up much, in theory, to save his mother, but he was ready to give up all to save her, so in essence the deal suited him…
Even if it was a deal struck with the devil.

Man listened in silence to the conversation between Lord Prometheus and the man who defeated IIshavoh. As usual, the android studied the exchange with scrutinizing perception. Mr. Watson, as revealed earlier by Lord Zex himself, a being who's appearance has yet to be discerned; though Man had recorded his voice, power-level, name, motives and goal. The pieces slowly lined up together, and soon enough he would obtain a full scope of the ordeal. Mr. Watson, according to current data, is a being who will do anything he can to ensure the safety and protection of his family -namely his mother, who under explicit context implies that the progenitor is in a dire medical situation.
Lord Zex has agreed to take in Mr. Watson's family into the manor. In return, Mr. Watson must do everything and anything he is told no matter how gruesome it may be. Mr. Watson is to play a leading role within an assembled group of prospective warriors, spearheading some sort of operation. Who the members of this group and what their true goals are is still unknown. Man will need to follow through on his investigations and unravel all the mysteries within. However, Mr. Watson's main responsibility towards the Lord of Alpha Prime is to report back all the events -even during fatal circumstances. This implies that the team of fighters taking part of the mission would serve as some kind of bait -or disposable test subjects at most.
Recorded, Man thought. He glanced at the servant briefly, as if to keep him in check, and then shifted his attention back to Zex. He had dismissed Mr. Watson, and although rushing out of the mansion now would probably reveal the physical appearance of this unknown being, the chances were slim. Calculating the time it took to infiltrate the ventilation system without detection, Mr. Watson would already be out of sight -then again, Man could always pinpoint his power-level. Therefore, staying in the vents held the least opportunity cost.
Man would remain in the vents in hopes that Zex would reveal more valuable information; whether it be speaking to a servant or the other entity lying silently in the room, Wrath. It was said that the brothers were always together. And even if they weren't, Man had witnessed Wrath indirectly in various occassions. As a result, he knew what the power-level in that room represented.
(Sorry for taking so long. Been a bit busy. We can continue this or just end it here. I'll probably have to write my escape anyway)

With Watson’s awkward bow and departure the third step in Prometheus’ plans was complete. The first had been the announcement of the Galactic Tournament itself, the competition having drawn fighters from far and wide as expected. Shortly after the initial invitations sent out for the tournament the second step followed, the actual start of the preliminary rounds. From the very first match until the Championship, Zex had been watching, mentally taking note of each fighter and his or her abilities. Beyond that the alien Lord was able to get an insight into each of their personalities, observing the way they conducted themselves in the colliseum. The Hattori children had proven to be your typical Saiyans, headstrong and brutish, two of them had even beaten each other mercilessly to prove which one was the stronger. Sure there had been some enigmas like the fluffy creature known as Truffle and Azazel, the seeming lost Makaio, but in the end he had learned what he wanted. This little gathering had been the third step, assurance that no matter who he gathered onto the team he was forming that he had a faithful Captain. Out of the four possible fighters he had selected he didn’t foresee any of them having a problem with their leader being weaker, possibly Frigid, but Zex doubted it. Now he needed to gather those remaining and be open with them about what he wanted. All of them were powerful fighters and strong individuals in their own right so their hands would not be forced like Willie’s. Turning to Wrath he offers a slight nod in the direction of the hall, motioning for them to take their leave of the room. As they exit those situated in the vents might be able to gleam a little more information from Prometheus before he was out of ear shot. ”Everything is falling into place nicely brother. I am quite confident that the others will be on board as well. Once I appeal to their unique desires and goals, I am quite sure they will all sign on. Then we will finally be able to take steps towards expanding our…organization, after all I promised you Alpha Prime was just the beginning didn’t I?”(Go ahead and post again Man and I will make sure to keep watch in case you botch that escape or anything . I didn’t comment about the man in the vent simply because he is just lying there silently.)

"...after all I promised you Alpha Prime was just the beginning didn’t I?” Man was immediately captivated. After Mr. Watson's departure, as Man expected, Lord Prometheus would speak with his brother, Wrath. According to them, they were completely alone now and felt free to speak of the secrets known only by them. If Man hadn't been in a hot zone before, he was in one now. If they were to discover his presence in this very moment, they would execute him without a second thought; a means to avoid leaks into the public. However, at this rate, Man could only create an educated guess or hypothesis. It was already obvious that he was forming some kind of group or organization. Mr. Watson, the essential piece of Lord Zex's plan, would report directly to him and remain faithful only to him for as long as his family remained safe within the compounds of this mansion. Who the other members of the organization are and what their goal is, all of it has yet to be revealed; albeit, those last words represented a key factor to his blue prints. "Alpha Prime was just the beginning..."Man would remain in place until they were out of earshot and then commence his escaping procedure. He glanced at Zex's servant who had been obediently quiet throughout the entire spectacle. No doubt his experience today would give birth to curiosity in the future. Man pressed his body against the sides of the vent and jerked his equipped hand, beckoning the servant to go past him so they could return. The journey outside of the mansion would be significantly similar to their method of infiltrating. They would retrace their steps back into the supply room, hide in the cart, and have the servant dump him in the bushes -disguising Man's escape by 'accidentally' tipping the cart over. Mission Complete, he thought. Mission target, IIshavoh: a dangerous bio-android extracted from the streets as it crash landed from the void of space. It had awoken, inquiring about a subject names "Drandos," his creator and shortly after became hostile, escaping the facility. Model Zero, according to his memory banks, had been absent for the occasion and therefore was unable to pursue him at the time. He was ordered to spy on the suspicious being and to not involve himself with him in any sort of way. Man followed the bio-android and soon discovered of his odd ability to ingest biological beings, upgrading its overall performance in all aspects including its out-dated processor. The bio-android developed a more plausible personality, which helped it camouflage within the living population as one of their own; a deceptive device which only a handful were aware of. Subject IIshavoh had been in tight spots numerous times. He was at the brink of mutilation by two saiyan lifeforms, until Lord Prometheus Zex and Wrath appeared and sequestered him into their Mansion. Although seemingly impenetrable, Man was one of the few -if any- which were capable of eluding security and infiltrating into the ventilation system by holding a servant hostage. Soon after, IIshavoh had engaged in battle against a new signature, the mysterious Mr. Watson. IIshavoh was vaporized. The scientists would no doubt be disappointed by the dead-end they have reached; although, the knowledge that such a being existed would fuel their future endeavors in finding out what a bio-android was and harnessing its unique abilities. "YOU INFILTRATED WHAT!?" Ivan exclaimed exasperated. "This has been BY FAR, the most reckless thing you have ever done, Zero. If Lord Zex had captured you, everything we've worked for would have gone down the drain," but although Ivan said this, it made them reevaluate just how efficient Model Zero was. And more importantly, the fresh information retrieved concerning Lord Zex's secret organization, Mr. Watson, and Alpha Prime's implications, would all be conveyed to King Arctic, their main source of income. Furthermore, Ivan felt that they should introduce Man to Lord Zex as soon as possible. Once the android is acknowledged by the most powerful entity on Alpha Prime, Man would obtain more access to valuable information; and perhaps, even admitted into this 'organization' of powerful warriors. However, that was not his entire reasoning. Like King Arctic, Lord Zex would most definitely invest in Model Zero, and fund their researching facilities to enhance the android's overall performance. Soon enough, Model Zero would possess the support of the entire asteroid and grow enough to meet his master's ultimate goal. Regardless, there was still that eerie silence in the room. Something was lurking in the horizon, and they knew it was not good. "Alpha Prime is just the beginning..." the doctor echoed. (Zeni! )

(I guess I can edit that post to be my last. There are still some things I wanted to clarify. Such as, boasting about how he managed to infiltrate a seemingly impenetrable mansion of the strongest person on Alpha Prime and emphasizing that this is indeed a 'mission', suggesting that my character deserves zeni bonus xD Let me know.)

(Alright. Well having an energy signature that cannot be sensed no doubt helped, but feel free to edit your last post if that is how you want to do it. As for this being a "mission" I would say it qualifies as work for your character if you are going to be requesting Zeni, like you said he would never do "normal" work being an android and all. Did I answer everything??)
