The building was cleaned up and polished to receive their guest. They might have overdone it, but Ivan wanted to make sure the Champion of the first Galactic Tournament felt welcomed. The other scientists felt uneasy about the experiment. Certainly, this was an amazing opportunity to see how well Model Zero would fare against a saiyan, but the idea of hosting one was just unthinkable! Man had been informed thoroughly to disregard his orders of annihilating the saiyan population -at least, until he was ready. Conri Lane's presence was a double edged sword. If he were to discover their plans for the mass destruction of his race, the entire operation would become dismantled before it even started. They already knew Model Zero had plenty ways to go before he could satisfy their expectations, but this experiment would help them figure out exactly just how far in the future the goal was set. According to current calculations, Ivan predicted Model Zero wouldn't be ready for generations to come; but hopefully, with the new data they could find a way to accelerate his progress.
Ivan sat leisurely in the comfort of his chair, watching over multiple screens which displayed images of various rooms. Model Zero was standing by in one of said rooms, staring aimlessly at the walls until further orders were uttered through the speakerphone.
"Nervous?" The doctor said, creeping up from behind. Ivan gave him an odd look and shifted his gaze back on the screen with the android on it.
"I'm terrified," he replied. "Saiyans are an unpredictable bunch, and we're about to have the strongest warrior in the galaxy at our doorstep any time now. If anything were to go wrong, he could wipe out our entire facilities, Model Zero, and us..."
"We can still cancel," the Doctor advised. But Ivan shook his head readily without a second thought. "No, this is a great opportunity I cannot allow to pass. If we are not willing to take risks, then we will never change anything."
"But at the same time, we're making our enemy stronger by allowing him inside the gravity chamber," the Doctor stated.
"... He's here."
Ivan observed the saiyan through the small monitor as he approached the door. The Doctor glanced one last time at Ivan, as if making sure he wasn't backing down and then nodded. Conri would be greeted by the Doctor and escorted to the other end of the room. Ivan turned off the monitor and awaited them at the entrance of the Gravity Chamber with his hands behind his back.
"Welcome," the Doctor said with a pleasing tone. "Please follow me to the Gravity Chamber."
On their way, they would pass through a few capsules and containers with incoherent figures floating in some green liquid. Scientists were gathered around tables at different corners of the room discussing theory on various projects. Eventually, they reached the end, where Ivan stood patiently awaiting them. "I'm glad you could make it!" the scientist said, reaching out to shake the saiyan's hands. "I can't tell you how excited I am for this. This will help us a great deal in the development of our machine. Please, go right in."
Ivan stepped aside as the Doctor opened the door to the Gravity Chamber and motioned for him to enter. Inside, Conri would find himself in a vast dome-shaped room, completely white and with nothing but walls all around. Unbeknownst to him, there was a camera which oversaw the entire chamber, from which Ivan would spectate the entire fight. From the moment Conri entered the room, scientists were scanning and analyzing him in many different aspects. The door would soon close behind him and seem as if it had morphed with the walls. Moments later, Ivan spoke through a speaker to communicate with the saiyan, but the location of the speaker could not be found by ear since his voice reverberated around the domed walls. "We will call him in a moment," he said.
A few minutes later, another hatch opened. From that hatch, a humanoid being with a helmet and a red jacket strolled out calmly. His body was covered in a black jumpsuit. Ivan spoke through the speaker once more.
"I present to you our experimental fighting robot, Model Zero."

It was strange to be invited to a place like this, something that had to do with scientific experiments and the like. While normally, he wouldn't be this suspicious, he was on Alpha Prime and there were lots of unscrupulous people around. While they seemed nice, he was going to be cautious all the same until he knew for sure that they would be alright to trust. The half-saiyan wasn't stupid, he understood that there were risks that came with his new title as well, so anything and everyone was under suspicion when inviting him somewhere. He nodded his head as the doctor greeted him at the main door, entering the facility in a casual manner, his eyes glancing around the entire place as he walked along with the man. Taking in as much detail as possible to try getting an idea of what they were doing here and what type of research they needed him for now.
"I'll do what I can," he shook the scientist's hand, but while he said that, if things didn't sit well with him he'd be leaving through whatever means were available. Entering the gravity chamber, he could sense a large amount of electricity around him, it was one of the little extra features of having electrokinesis. You had to be able to sense it to create and manipulate it, and in this room, there seemed to be a lot more electricity focused than elsewhere. Maybe it was just because of the gravity chamber, but it seemed odd nonetheless, so he would just let it sit in the back of his mind for now. When Ivan spoke through the speaker, Conri simply nodded his head, if the people wanted to try anything they would be in for a few surprises from him.
When his opponent came out the other side of the room, he heard the name of it and nodded, he likely wouldn't call it that but it was interesting to know the designation. Though he had an idea of how to make things a bit more interesting in general, but it might also let him see into the plans that these people had in mind. "How about we turn the lights out and really make this an interesting match?" he suggested, a smirk on his features. It would add a bit more difficulty to the fight while also letting him really get used to the speed he was at with the weights now. The gravity weighing him down would also add to that, so it would make for an all around fun little match up.

Man observed his target intently and calmly. He was ordered to refrain from his given goals and treat the encounter as it was, a sparring session. He had already seen his abilities in the tournament, and the man's power-level was already engraved into the android's memory bank. None of that information, however, made any difference whatsoever. Man knew this. But having the lights off might give him an edge in the coming battle.
Ivan grinned gleefully at the screen upon hearing the visitor's request. "Very well," he replied, repressing his excitement. "Now, I don't think this will be a problem. But I must warn you that Zero's only attacks involve piercing techniques. I trust that a champ like you can avoid getting severely injured. Don't hold back!"
That said, the lights went off as requested. The gravity chamber was pitch black; Man could not even see his hands in front of his face. But he could definitely see Conri -or, at least his powerlevel. Man surveyed the black abyss. Red figures and numbers flashed before his eyes. A ring turned in place with an arrow guiding his gaze from left to right. Then, that ring blinked three times and took the form of Conri's silhouette; a red outline of his body. Having located the target, Man assessed the possible choices in which he could operate.
Conri was a mortal being who could not rely on a built-in scouter the way Man did. His only ability to detect another being's movements were his hearing and energy sensing ability, but the latter became moot the moment he accepted an android as his opponent. With this in mind, Man could not move an inch unless it meant attacking his foe. And if he attacked, he better not have missed. Another deduction. Man's entire arsenal of abilities and techniques were composed of evasive maneuvers, an energy sword, and a pistol: The saber would create a faint glow in the dark, allowing Conri to pinpoint his location; while the same could be said about energy bullets, at least it allowed Man to move from his previous location with nothing but the sound of his footsteps and the clashing of metallic body parts.
"Alright, increasing gravity 10x," said the voice through the speaker. The sparring session had officially begun.
The room began to hum. Man unclipped his pistol and aimed at the skarlet silhouette in the distance. He intended to shoot the instant the gravity took effect, but he had completely underestimated the intensity. The moment it took effect, his entire body burrowed to the ground with his hands above. The barrel was redirected and unintentionally shot the first bright bullet towards the ceiling. Clearly, it was unexpected. Last time, Ivan increased the gravity gradually, but this time around he skipped all the way to ten. Man grimaced.
"That son of a..."

The main advantage to his current weighted clothes is that they offered him the chance to fight without his actual full power by reducing what he could use. This meant that the fight wouldn't be overwhelmingly in his favor, the android would have a chance here to actually fight against him, but it was an uphill battle nonetheless. Even the best sensors of power levels would only be able to read him being just shy of twenty thousand, and he hadn't even tried to suppress his power level now, it wasn't needed here anyways. His eyes scanned over the android a bit, calculating and analyzing his own information about his opponent, there was a lot that he could figure out just from looking at him.
"Well, that's going to be hard to do, I'm already not using my full power with just the clothes I'm wearing," he smirked slightly, as he revealed that little tidbit to the scientist. It was kind of hard to not hold back when the weighted clothes made sure that he couldn't actually utilize the full force of his power against their android. If he did use his full power then the thing probably wouldn't stand a chance against him given how strong he'd become after the battle with Frigid was officially over. It was a long way before he could match up to the strongest rulers, but so far he was amongst the strongest in the universe for power, that wasn't anything to take lightly.
When the lights went out, things were becoming quite a bit easier to feel with his electrokinetic abilities, he wondered what kind of power reserves this place had in general. If he wanted to use them, he would be drawing a lot of power from his surroundings, and given that the largest sources were part of the training room, it would likely put strain on the power supply. Still, it would take a few moments for his eyes to adjust to the darkness around him, despite how others normally reacted in the dark he would keep calm. There was no need to be afraid of it after all, it was a natural thing just like light was, and neither was a bad thing. Right now, since his eyes were more less useful, his other senses were starting to pick up the slack his hearing, smell, touch, and taste enhancing a bit. While it wasn't significant, it would be helpful in fighting in the darkness, a lot of people tended to forget that their other senses were able to detect as well.
He was half-human, he understood that a lot of them seemed to be worried about losing their sight, but he had learned something when he trained without being able to see. There was a sense that helped much more when detecting possible threats than the eyes ever could be, and he was about to use that in this battle. "Feel free to start whenever you're ready, Zero," he offered to his opponent, he couldn't see him, but it would be rude not to let him go first anyways. He was technically the stronger one here, so if he started it would be a powerful attack anyways.

The gravity was overwhelming. Man was pinned to the ground by the unrelenting invisible force; they were like chains confining him to the ground. All the while, Conri’s voice would resonate from within the darkness, resigning the first move to the android. Feel free to start whenever you're ready, Zero, he said. Being an android, Man was unfamiliar with etiquette or arrogance; therefore, his understanding of the saiyan’s statement went without the judgmental baggage mortals tend to add. Whether he was genuine or simply belittling him, it hadn’t even crossed his mind.
Very well, Man thought. The android, no longer paranoid, took his time to overcome the intense gravity and stood erect on his feet. He staggered and mumbled, searching for the point of equilibrium as he fought against the current that brined against his back. Zero clenched his teeth and finally lifts his gaze from the ground, staring blankly into the abyssal pit before him. His scouter recalculated the displacement between himself and the opponent. Five meters to the right, ten to the left; it formulated automatic calculations to determine the exact location: eighteen meters diagonally as stated by the Pythagorean Theorem.
Man adjusted to face the energy signature displayed by his built-in scouter. He raised a brow. According to his previous observations, Conri’s power-level was considerably lower than it was supposed to be. Perhaps the increased gravity did more than just affect your ability to stand and the rhythm of your steps. It made sense; the decline of one stat would drag down the overall value, thus, reduced output in performance.
Regardless, the twenty thousand power-level was still far above Zero’s capabilities. But Model Zero was a machine who did not understand the idea of sportsmanship. He would not hold his power back for a crowd just to build up the tension. His cognitive systems lay out the possibilities, reason the most logical and effective path of action, and he enact them. Override! The red letters flash before his eyes as the inner mechanisms within him jitter to enhance his performance. The transformation didn’t really change his appearance in any way –not that it mattered considering the impenetrable darkness- but it refined his body from self-producing prostheses’ implanted within his body. Man was unfamiliar with the complex bodily functions within him, but he trusted his masters. If it works, it works.
The improved android found it a little easier to stand, though the straining pressure persisted in all its acuteness. Man raised his arm slowly, towards the arrow marked in his vision and pulled the trigger.

He quieted his breathing so that he could make sure to hear the faintest noises would be heard and that he could react to them appropriately. Plus, calming his breathing would help him to conserve strength as well, if this was to be a spar then there was no need for him to go full out. If this were a real fight then he wouldn't have any issues about putting the android into the ground, but since it was just a spar there was no point to doing that. His power like this was more than enough to make it an interesting fight and see what this android could do against a more powerful opponent. The gravity was doing its job and pushing him down with more force, adding to the weighted clothes efforts of pushing his body to grow more, it had been a while since he felt the pull of gravity like this.
The intensity was about the same as when he fought against that Icejin in his own gravity chamber, which while it was an incredible pressure, he wasn't new to it. Although adding the weighted clothes made things interesting in its own right, but that was the point of these as well and he could tell they were going to be a good investment. His mind and body were adjusted to the darkness, his senses picking up the slack of not being able to see heightened to better than they were, so he now had extra weapons. When the first flash of the gun fired the bullets, he could see them coming and moved his head slightly, letting them graze him slightly to get a feel of their power. He might not be able to sense the android's power, but there were other ways to gauge it than simply with sensing, one just needed the fortitude to make it happen.
Returning fire, he made a motion with his hand as a small burst of telekinetic power was launched in the direction that the bullets originated from. While it was far from his strongest technique, it would still pack a punch, but this was more just for him to test the waters right now. It would be harder to detect than Ki as well, given that his psychokinetic powers didn't use Ki to power them and were nigh invisible in lighted rooms, but he still needed to be careful about overusing them. Now it would be time to gauge how his opponent could react to a different type of attack than one made of Ki.

The bullet passed by like a smooth criminal in the impervious night. Without warning, it whisked and disappeared as it came. Man didn't know whether he had hit or not until he heard the sound of metal clashing in the abyss. Clink! The realization that he had not received any form of feedback regarding the assault implied that he had missed. There were no mutterings of pain whatsoever. The bullet continued blindly until it was stopped by the walls around them. Model Zero whispered a sigh despondently. He manned the pistol once again, steady aimed at the red markings indicated by his eyes. However, just as he was about to pulled the trigger once more, something unexpected occurred.
Suddenly, something which -initially- seemed like a gust of wind began pushing against him. Not so. The new phenomenon imposed upon him was not like a current of air which comes and leaves as it went. There was nothing pressed against his body or swerving around his chest; it was more like an inverted version of gravity. His entire body simply began to slide backwards in place without having to make much effort except his attempt to reject the displacement forced on him. It was like an invisible hand were pushing him, and with the gravity at ten times its normal capacity, it was hard to not be overwhelmed by the external power. To regain control over his receding posture, Man embraced the assault with a short hop. His body instantly glided back several feet in the air until the greater gravity had him plant his feet back onto the hard and cold floor. His heels dragged across an inch or two more before reaching a complete halt.
Man peered in the far distance. He was perplexed by what he had just experienced; unsure whether it was an added effect to the gravity chamber or one of Conri's attacks. His scouter had not detected the fluctuating energy necessary for such manifestations, nor has the target's spot changed since. The numbers and arrows were just as they had been moments ago; except, perhaps, the location and distance of the target himself since Man had now been moved further away. The android wrenched the thoughts away and heeded the new calculations. Man straightened, raised his arm, aimed and pulled the trigger.

Hearing the sound of the android hit against the ground once more, it meant that his opponent hadn't moved after firing the initial attack that had been made. That meant that if he could time it right, he could hit the android with a powerful attack, he could probably make this battle a bit easier in the long run. Still, it was kind of fun fighting in the dark like this, he was learning to trust his instincts more and more. While most would think that was bad, there were things the instincts could do, that surpassed what people thought they were capable of in the first place. Still, it would take a while for him to get the full hang of them, while he didn't know what their goal for bringing him here was they in turn didn't know what he was using them to do.
The light the shots gave off made the attack obvious to see even within the pitch black arena and instead of trying to dodge them, since he knew what type of energy they were, he took the shots straight on. Of course, dodging would have been harder anyways with the gravity, but that was just something that would take time to adjust to anyways. The damage wasn't too bad considering the energy it was made of, he could take a few of those attacks thanks to the difference in their power levels. However, it was time for him to return the favor and let him see a bit of his own power. Lifting his hands above his head, he channeled his Ki into the palms into a large orb that pulsated with an incredible power as it formed into Conri's attack.
Throwing his hands forward, the blast was fired towards his opponent, however that wasn't meant to be his main attack. This was more or less a distraction from his real one. Using his psychokinetic abilities he reached out to grab a hold of some of the electricity that was within the room, draining some of the systems of quite a bit of their power. In return, he molded it into a powerful bolt of lightning that struck out towards Zero threatening to electrocute him with a large amount of energy. There was more to this Saiyan than meets the eye, and the scientists were simply helping him become even more than that as well with this little training session.

Man's scouter fires off. Symbols and figured blink before his eyes as the numbers fluctuate. In the far distance, he observes a bright light of energy gathering, and the silhouette of his opponent harnessing it upon his own hands. There was considerable distance between them and Man could clearly see that he was preparing an attack, he could lucidly witness the orb of devastating ki ricocheting across the room, unaffected by the constraints of higher gravity. In normal circumstances, Man would have had no problem simply stepped to the side, but the attack was getting ever more nearer and his feet were dragging against the metal floor. The increased gravity clogged his joints like rusted metal. Man would have been struck by the attack if it weren't for his dashing ability -not to mention his transformed state allowed him to cope with the augmented pressure much more easily than if not. Man pushed forward in a flash of scarlet red light and fazed through the attack, promptly fading in the returning darkness.
However, electrical currents began to spark sporadically around the room. Ivan shot up from his chair as the screen from which he spectated their battle began to flicker. The image was faltering, but they could still make out the events that transpired. The doctor observed, "It seems he has the ability to manipulate electricity..." -"Do you think that will be a problem?" Ivan inquired. "Model Zero has never suffered from short circuits, I guess we're about to find out," the doctor replied. Although, his answer wasn't very comforting, Ivan thought.
Thunder and lightning merged from the walls and conformed a powerful bolt of energy crafted by Conri himself. One would think that Man was losing one or two screws by now, but his mind was elsewhere. He kept pondering, wondering why Conri's power level was but a little under 20,000 compared to the readings he salvaged from the tournament. Was Conri still tired? Was he holding back? Or was there some other external factor that might have been linked with his current performance. At this state, Man had a good chance against him, but he knew better. Man wasn't supposed to have the ability to stand up against such a being. Something was wrong...
In the mean time, Conri still posed a considerable threat. If Man didn't develop some tactics now, he would be defeated without contest. Conri released the lightning bolt, in which Man only had a split second to make up his mind and summon his saber. Conri's energy attack met with his plasma blade in the time it took for it to manifest. Electricity sparks open widly and travels over Man's arm. The lightning bolt was deffered briefly until Man lost his grip and was blown away by the remaining force of the attack.

The android opponent seemed to be dazing out in the middle of their spar, whatever was occupying its mind was putting it into a dangerous position. He supposed he would have to remind the android that this wasn't the time to get distracted by whatever, as when the lightning pushed him back the Half-Saiyan launched forward. His body had become accustomed the the gravity since his body had been allowed to stay still, but the gravity was still slowing him down a bit. However, it wasn't as bad as it had been, having been exposed to gravity before, his body could deal with the small increases like this one. Thanks to the flash of light from the lightning and the beam saber he could track where his opponent was quickly, and could take action appropriately.
Dashing forward with all the speed he could gather under the effects of the gravity, he closed the distance between the two of them and threw his fist forward. Using his left foot as a pivot to turn his body into a giant piston, and adding the rotation of his body into his punch, the entire force of all the power in his muscles concentrated into his fist. The strike was aimed for his face, meant as both a wake up call and the start of the real spar between these two, as he was now going to start fighting on the offensive. Whether or not the android was ready would be up to him, if he didn't react to the first strike then Conri would keep the assault going by bringing around his other fist, once more utilizing the rotation of his body for the attack.
He hoped both the android and the scientists were ready to see the determination and full fighting spirit of the champion of the galactic tournament, they were about to be witness to his tenacity. To make the most out of this spar, he was going to have to turn it into a much more serious battle and the best way to do that would be to present himself as a threat to the android. He was pretty sure that scientists wouldn't create something like this without including the basic survival instincts necessary.

The lightning bolt inspired a flash of light illuminating the perimeter surrounding the android. Calculations beamed in algorithmic sequences to determine his current spatial position in the room. Having his eyesight, although momentarily, was beneficial for his current predicament. His scouter could detect life forms and energy, but it could not determine the orientation of his body. Concluding that the ground was definitively stationed below at a perpendicular dimension, Man bent his knees to rotate his body in a short somersault, anchoring the soles of his armored feet to the ground. His body was dragged back against his will, his boots screeched across the ground with sparks splintering at the seams. Light still flashed and lit up the room long enough for him to see the saiyan charging towards him like a red bull -but more importantly, a trifling glimpse at the geometrical location of his saber.
When Man and his saber were separated, the thin layer of plasma energy would persist for meager seconds before it dissipated into the air. If it weren't for that minute glance, the accessibility of his weapon's handle would have been forever lost throughout the duration of this fight. Finding it among the darkness was like a needle in a haystack. However, his internal mechanisms had already observed the distance and pinpointed its location. When the night finally struck, Man found himself staggering to the saiyan's venom. Conri's fist was planted squarely on the android's face, literally crunching numbers under his knuckles. With the overwhelming gravity plotting in the saiyan's favor and momentum from the previous blow still dragging his feet like a rail, Conri's assault set Man's feet off the ground. The android's fleeting body took refuge in the darkness; perhaps getting thwarted was a good thing.
Man's scouter had not calmed down though. The uprising sound beeping in his head consecutively served as a vivid reminder of his situation. The saiyan didn't plan on ending his attack there. The android could presume that he was relying on instinct and that Conri was pursuing him based on the direction he was dealt as well as the nonverbal messages being picked up by his cognitive system. Man plant his feet on the ground, not so differently as before; his body still displacing back much like before, he watched the distance between them waning invariably; thus, predictably. At three feet and four inches, Man arched the back of his foot and orbited around the incoming fighter. He would sense the breeze and Conri's fist caress his skin as he maneuvered behind the target with his pistol locked and loaded. BANG!

The transition back to darkness didn't bother him too much, it was actually a bit of a relief from the sudden bright flash of his own attack. Feeling the hard connection of his fist with the Android's face was satisfying to say the least, if there was one aspect Conri enjoyed about fighting it was hand to hand combat. It was much more exhilarating to add that extra personal touch, especially in an environment like this, and the fact that anything in close range was much harder to react to completely. This made the whole thing more fun for him, he just hoped that his opponent could keep this up for him under the constant pressure of assault. Which seemed to be the case when his fist didn't connect a second time, at least not directly like he had wanted to do, but that just meant this wouldn't be an easy victory.
However, losing track of him wouldn't happen so easily even in the darkness, his instincts warning him that there was someone or something behind him. The sound of the gun and the flash that preceded it didn't go by unnoticed, especially when the energy bullet smacked into his back causing some damage to the area that was hit. Although, even with the damage, Conri wasn't about to let it get to him enough to stop him from fighting it out fully. He had taken a beating from Ninjin and Frigid that left him in even worse condition than these blasts were currently doing to him. That wasn't to say they didn't hurt, but when you were regularly the underdog in terms of power in fights it did come with a slight perk.
Using the opportunity, he flipped around to bring his foot down hoping to hit the android in the side of the ribs from the angle he assumed he'd be at given where the shot hit. Without leaving much time after that, he held out both hands a fired off two Ki blasts in the general direction hoping to have those hit the chest of his opponent. Waiting to hear what results his attacks might have he also prepared his body to react at a moments notice for any evasive or defensive maneuvers he might need to pull off.

The rules of wielding a gun by which Model Zero thoroughly practised were the following: Never allow the enemy to get too close to you, if you're not shooting, you run. However, Man's movability was conjested by the increased gravity; he could only lean away from his opponent, barely evading that kick to the ribs and finally retreating back to form distance between them. His mind was always calculating the last direction he had seen the handle of his blade and reevaluating its position -or rather, his own position in relation to it. The saiyan unleashed a pair of ki blasts, they were a bit off but generally correct in their direction. One of them passed right by him harmlessly while he avoided the second by vaguely shifting his body to the side. The blasts of ki continued onward, eventually hitting the metalic walls behind him. He could have probably repelled them with his hands, but that would just notify Conri where he was; by evading, he had once again regained intangibility.
In the moment of silence, Man took the opportunity to ponder over the results of his previous tactics. Once he shoots, his opponent knows where he is, yet he had remained in place twice now. He was so confident with that first shot, he had expected the fight to be over. Usually, his bullets would pierce right through his targets, but he wasn't dealing with just anyone now. Conri's trained body and ability to manipulate ki were enough to withstand the pressure of his pistol's compressed energy bullets. Because of that same arrogance, he had allowed the saiyan to pinpoint his location. But his attacks were not the only things from which the saiyan recieved information; Conri used his ears to sense movement, a single step would cause the ground to vibrate feebily and that vibration created sound. Man needed to plan his actions ahead of time. When he moves, his movements must be minimal and purposeful.
His goal for the moment was to retrieve his saber. To do so, he prepared to take that first leap. Model Zero aimed his pistol at Conri once again and pulled the trigger. Promptly after, he frisked to the left, shooting multiple energy bullets one after the other; the effect would create a trail by which the saiyan could follow Model Zero all the way to the point of landing -a bait. That first step back on the ground marked his next phase as it created a pysically audible thud! ringing briefly in the distance. He dashes forward, stops, and then larks to the right with a monumental leap, his great escapade from which he could watch the saiyan follow his trail of energy blasts to where Man was thought to have been, all the while he was going towards the opposite direction -where the saber lay.

It seemed that his attacks were missing a bit more frequently now, perhaps Zero wasn't going to be a boring fight after all, but that also meant Conri would be turning up the tactics himself. The darkness seemed to be helping to sharpen his other senses gradually, he would need to utilize them to the fullest, but how could he do that right now? He left that thought process in the back of his mind, letting his subconscious work on the problem while he focused on dealing with the Android in the mean time. It was just in time as well, since the machine started firing at him with the pistol in rapid succession as it started moving off to the side, which was rather odd for it to do.
Using his psychokinetic powers he ripped a piece of the floor from the ground and slammed it down in front of him, placing it as a shield from the energy bullets. Now would come the really tricky part of the equation, as he crouched behind the wall and began to concentrate his power into his psychokinetic powers to create an omnidirectional blast, but he wouldn't release it just yet. Instead he concentrated more energy to it, to make it even more powerful than it normally would be, something to give the android a little bit of a surprise. Despite that he would be in a vulnerable looking position, he was going to have quite the weapon hidden for him.
It was time to show why he was the champion and just what kind of power he wielded when he truly wanted to win a battle, and this time he wasn't going to pull his punches. The android as going to get to experience the full effect of his psychokinetic powers, the last one was a test, this one would feel hit like the impact from a mack truck at full speed, but it would require a lot of concentration and time to build up. It wouldn't kill him though, that would be going too far in a simple little spar, but he wanted to send a message as well since he felt he was being underestimated at this point. Charge 1

"MY POLISHED FLOOR!" Ivan exclaimed, exasperated, he shot up from his seat and pressed his hands over the monitor. Although everything was pitch-black from the fighter's perspective, the scientists were gathered around the digital screens, each portraying the battle from different angles using Night Vision technology. Ivan glanced back at The Doctor, probably wondering why he was the only one ostensibly concerned over their very expensive gravity chamber getting torn apart by a monkey; then again, the risk of inviting a saiyan to their facilities had already been overstated. The Doctor was deep in his journal, writing down everything he observed like a typing machine -along with a few anecdotes. The dozen aids followed his example and encroached under their individual screens with greasy hands and foggy glasses. Ivan sighed and slouched back down. "Oh well..." he moaned.
Meanwhile, Man's scouter was going off. The most he could discern was the sound of stripped metal, but he had no way of knowing just what was actually going on. However, the fluctuating and rising numbers beckoned some thought; Conri was up to something. Nevertheless, Man was busy feeling for his saber in the darkness. He had kept a general record of its location, but even his local positioning system was not sophisticated enough to completely replace the amount of data one received from concrete, solid vision.
"What do you think he's doing?" Ivan inquired. "Who, Zero?" The Doctor asked as he continued to write incessantly on his notepad. "No," Ivan snapped, "the saiyan, Doctor."
"Oh! Right, my apologies..." the doctor turned to one of their aids. "What do you think?"
The aid looked up from his screen like he had just seen a ghost. Realizing they were asking him, he gulps and takes a closer look at the screen. "Well, sir, it seems he has the ability to manipulate matter somehow. By tearing that piece of the floor off, he is shielding himself from Model Zero's energy bullets and giving himself time to prepare an attack. The nature of the attack has yet to be seen, but things don't fare well for Zero..."
"Hm, you're gonna go far kid." The doctor teased sarcasticly, although the aid might not have noticed. They could already clearly see what was happening.
Ivan smirked.
