[Kurosanai Muzai]

Fire leapt through the air and at first seemed to keep the blue woman at bay while she simply just dodged about and left room for what she thought was going to be her inevitable escape. But no Kuzuko was not going to allow him to make that separation possible. He pressed on knowing full well that there was a possibility that it would all blow back in his face. It was in that pressure that he was able to connect with the blue woman several times sending her stumbling backwards as fire leapt from his limbs. He had to show his father why he deserved to be the leader of the great Fire Nation one day. Then came the strike that would send her flying backwards onto her back.

When she rose again Kuzuko’s wildest dreams came true. Her eyes began to glow as she was lifted off the ground in a cyclone of air. Rocks began to lift around her as fire leapt from her hands. Mist began to thicken before turning into water and it was in that moment that Kuzuko knew the time had come. She spoke of anger and making him pay but it was because of the Avatar that he had not been allowed to return home. Turning to his Uncle he saw that he stood in awe at the sight as well. They had been looking for the Avatar for so long, traveling the world searching for a being he did not even know what it looked like now to have it here before him.

“Uncle…what do I do?” Kuzuko asked the old man. The old man was left speechless for a moment before he turned to Kuzuko.

“You beat the Avatar and return back to the Fire Nation as the victorious hero that you are!” Uncle yelled at the top of his lung. “You all that you have learned and bring her down so that your father can accept you back!” Kuzuko nodded as he sunk back into his fighting stance. Then something happened that he did not know the Avatar was capable of, she transformed into a dragon. It must have been something to this avatar as it was never heard of before. The blue armor glistened in the light as she spun around as if bragging about her appearance. It did not daunt Kuzuko though. He had not received this scar from his father and cowered. He would face down this newest form of the Avatar and bring her down.

“I will not back down to you Avatar! I will defeat you so that I take the rightful title of Prince of the Fire Nation!” Kuzuko yelled back as the dragon launched lightning from its mouth. Kuzuko leapt high into the air creating a large ball of fire in his hands. He then through the fire down directly at the eyes of the dragon. This things armored body seemed to cover most of the vulnerable spots but just like any set of armor that Kuzuko had ever seen it most likely did not cover the eyes. He knew he had to act quickly because if left to do as the Avatar willed then everything that he accomplished till now would be lost. Time was running out.

THIS was power tapping directly into the magic of the ring afforded Jenn a LOT more in terms of what she could do with her powers, a transformation like this would normally have taken minutes to achieve, not exactly something that would lend itself to being very relevant in the midst of a fight but with the power of the ring backing her up Jenn could achieve it in mere moments. THIS was what she needed to deal with the particularly pesky construct, the ring seemed compelled to keep her going in this fight to not have the damn thing just fall so now it became necessary that she tap into the very magic that fueled everything inside the ring to do away with this annoyance.

More prattling from the now quite minuscule construct, standing this tall made it actually a bit difficult to take in what he was saying, his words seemed not directed at her any longer no cries of battle but just... talking. It was all quite annoying and Jenn intended to end it as she brought her forelimbs up and slammed them into the ground creating a powerful wave of destructive force that shattered the ground around her splitting deep cracks everywhere however her efforts proved mostly ineffectual in harming the construct as just as her limbs came crashing down he spring into the air finally letting out a bellow directed at her... however the words were nonsensical garbage even more so than usual for the construct as he called himself a prince.

Perhaps it was the construct finally breaking down, what little mind it had been granted by the magic of the ring not quite standing up to everything that had gone on throughout their encounter. Regardless it seemed that while it spoke nonsense it was still quite capable of battle as he launched a large ball of fire at her face, Jenn twisted her neck trying to move out of the way of the blast but the move was simply to quick to be avoided and it crashed into the side of her face erupting in a fiery explosion. Jenn let out a roar of fury as she lumbered back a step. Her fury however would serve as fuel for her coming actions as Jenn whipped her face around to where the construct was falling from the sky and took in a deep breath, her fury over the successful attack caused her to tap into more of the magic of the ring now not to speed up a transformation but to unleash as much power as it could provide.

Her mind was focused on one thing, sending this construct away getting him out of her sights by any means necessary, with a titanic roar Jenn unleashed a powerful wave of energy, not lightning as she had done before, simply pure unshaped energy the very magic of the ring given physical and as far as Jenn knew, destructive form.

The dragon reared back in pain as the flames struck it in its face. How the dragon howled, it was so delightful to watch. Almost as delightful to watch as having a turkey dinner served to you with five pounds of mashed potatoes, two pounds of boiled carrots, three cans of corn, three cans of peas and four cans of cranberry sauce. Oh god do I love Thanksgiving…but that is not what I am here to tell you. Nah rather I should probably finish up this little tale of our great young hero. I mean frankly it feels as if I have been telling this story for a year now, what a ludicrous notion.

As it regained control over the situation the dragon Avatar turned its eyes to the falling scarred fighting pseudo son of the Fire Lord. Glowing from the great dragon’s mouth began to illuminate all that surrounded it. The dragon let loose a roar and a wave of energy ripped through the air. It seemed to fizzle and create what looked like burn spots in the very fabric of reality alongside the energy. Taking a deep breath in Kuzuko brought his hands together at his side causing flames to grow and jump at his wrists. The young banished son was not about to give in and fall to the Avatar.

“I will not fail here!” Kuzuko roared as a massive stream of fire burst forth eating away at the air. The temperature rose several degrees as the massive pyre charged down at the incoming energy beam. In a burst of light the two collided sending pillars fleeing outwards as the beam of magical energy met it with just as great of power. Then something strange began to happen as if a greater force was forcing this scenario to an end. The very scar that Kuzuko had placed upon himself seemed to flicker away as the magical energy around him seemed to fade. His eyes darted upwards to see the image of Uncle slowly fading away from view. He began to feel the very world around him begin to twist and distort. It was almost as if he was an infection in the bloodstream of this dream and his very existence was being attacked.

“What is going on?” Kurosanai asked. That’s right people his name is finally what it was originally. Suddenly he began to feel the pain of his body burning. His eyes drifted downwards to see that entire sections of him were beginning to burn away as if he was some sort of paper. Little did he know but the magic that had been keeping him in this world was finally running out. Gone was his ability to stay in this pocket dimension. His mind went blank and without so much as an extra thought sent all of his remaining energy driving down into the fire creating a wedge into the beam from the dragon. It only split it for a brief moment before the entire area was engulfed in a massive explosion. In the light of the explosion the fate of Kurosanai in his dream would be sealed. His body would turn to nothing more than cinders and spread to the wind. The next thing the prodigy of the Muzai would know was him opening his eyes to find his body flat on his back with an old Terran lamp jammed in his pocket. The air stunk and strange noises polluted the air.

“Such a shame…it was such an awesome dream,” Kurosanai mumbled to himself as he got back on his feet. The prodigy would make his way to his accommodations before meeting up to join on an adventure that would forever change him.

The story you heard is one of great love and loss, of great laughter and sadness and most importantly the delusions of two very strange writers. Sure these two could have had me tell a story of a great battle between their two characters but these two freaks decided to create this monstrosity of a story. Frankly if you made it this far I really applaud you and I apologize. You deserve better and so do I. You realize how much I get paid? Nothing! They could have at least given me something but nooo it was not in the budget. Such a disgusting shame. Anyways with great disgust I officially conclude this story.
