"Of course, I was born in this era," she muttered to herself as she slouched a bit. "Fine, I'll answer your questions," she added as well in a loud tone.
Looking over at the man's strange wallet she said, "I don't know what these dollars are, but the only currency this planet and probably the rest of the universe knows of, is the Zeni. It's a piece of paper with a set value on it and the least expensive items I know of, like Scouters, only cost one thousand five hundred Zeni I think."

"Ya, Dollars was the same. Maybe a bank can exchange... If I can find one." He said, as he showed her a 20 dollar Canadian bill. He put his cash away in his wallet as he listened to her say that some of the cheapest items avalible were scouters, and they were around 1500 Zenie. It was alot in Brandons experience.
"Soo... I knew you were born in this era...But unlike you, I wasnt. Speaking oh which, what year is it? I dont know when Ill find an Earth Paper to learn it myself." He said as he thought over teh situation he was in. Scouters, Zenie... Brandon felt that he really was in a Dragonball Z anime episode. But if he was really in such a thing, He would want to take things HIS way. Anything was possible for him here, and he was going to use that possibility to his advantage.
"So tell me Roxenne... How many friends do ya have?"

"I don't know what this is," she spoke as she glanced at the twenty dollar bill with her stern blue gray eyes, "but I feel like you can probably get a little of something off it. Just switch out your money at a local bank. You can probably walk up to one and do so."
He continued to talk and Roxsenne listened because generally she was pretty decent at doing that. When he asked the year and about her friends she answered, "The year is two thousand, and as for friends, I have enough." She clenched her fists feeling of the metal pieces of her gauntlets scrap against each other and wished this guy would not ask her so many questions. It was not like she was a walking encyclopedia that was able to help him at every turn. He surely understood this though.

"Ill have to find a bank then. Hopefully I can get something for this..." He said, as he heard her say what year it was. "The year two thousand? That doesnt seem right... " He replied, as he stopped for a moment trying to figure things out. He knew the technology of this era was much further along then in his time, yet the year was 14 years behind his.
Then it hit him. Not only had he been sealed up for an unknown amount of years, but he had been transported to another dimension all together? It made sense to him gradually, as he look at Roxenne. "Well, I dont know if this will seem odd to you, but Im actually from the year 2014...AD." He said, wondering what her reaction would be. Would she call him crazy? A Liar or a fool? He had a feeling he would find out very soon.

"That would put you as someone from the future. As far fetched as it sounds though, I can possibly believe it if you were a resident of my planet. We have magic there, but since you're from here, nope. Go find someone else to trick." Roxsenne told him as she turned away this time and decided to not look at him. She would begin to walk off once more and pondered what the guy might do.

Brandon wasnt all too surprised that she would basically call him a lair as she started to walk away from him. "Is time travel really that far fetched in this timeline? Where I come from, Magic doesnt exist. Only Illusions to entertain the public. If you wanted to, I could show you my drivers license as proof of the time I came from, since it was issued on August 17th 2012." He said, as he watched her walk away from him.
"Are all Humanoids this arrogant?" He heard Verlith ask, as Brandon looked at his bracelet, as its ruby glowed softly with each word his dragon spirit spoke. "In my time no, but in this time... They seem to be. Hell, I havent seen a single Asian, African American, Indian or any other different Human. This has to be an alternate dimension with a different timeline." He said, as he started to feel more confused then he had before Roxenne answered his question as to what year he was in.
"You feel like an English man in New york perhaps?" Verlith asked, as Brandon gave a more confused look. "Where did you hear that from?" Brandon asked, wondering where Verlith heard that song name before. "From your music memories. Sting, was it? Fascinating musical library in your mind..."
"Stay outta my memories Verlith! I have private stuff in there!"

Roxsenne looked back at him one more time, marched up to him after he started having an argument with himself, and told him, "I don't really care where you come from. Only that you're here bothering me. Whatever junk you have from your universe, timeline, etc. is probably useless here. So find out if it has any value and if it does get rid of it, exchange it, or keep it. As for your comment about not seeing other kinds of people, well, you've only been here an hour. Or so you say."
She looked around and grabbed a sword from a market stall stating, "If you really want to stop being a bother prove your worth on this world a bit would you? Stop talking to yourself and see if you're combat worthy against someone because I can tell you this and that is if you don't stop acting weird not even your you kind may help you. I'm only helping you because it's the Caballye way to help people in distress, but beyond this conversation don't expect to see me again any time soon."
She unsheathed this sword and with flick of her wrist had this weapon's point quickly poking at Bradon's neck before he could speak or breath. She was furious that this man was going to be the one pestering her today because usually the Earth peasants left her alone. The reason was that they considered her a normal human and wanted to be perceived that way in case the annoying group NEON ever showed up again.

"But I..." He started to say, but Roxenne quickly found a sword, unsheathed it, and held it at Brandons neck, stating that he had to prove his combat worthiness to her, especially if she was going to help him. "Well, Ever since I got here, I already obliterated one Namekian's lower jaw, and that was just with a rock." He said, as he gently reached up, and gently tried to push the blade away from his neck.
"And I wasnt talking to myself. I was talking to Verlith. Hes a Spirit that lives in my bracelet." He said, as he held up his other arm so Roxenne could get a better look at his bracelet, which seemed plane but the faint etchings of runes could be seen on he bracelet. Too worn away for her to even think of reading, Brandons bracelet sure almost looked plain... Too plain infact.
"Now if its a one on one duel you want, I think I can oblige as long as you dont kill me. And I would need a weapon as well..."

"Okay, well, that sounds all nice and fine, but I'm not letting you have a weapon. You don't look like one who would need one if you can damage a Namekian with a rock." Roxsenne answered him. When he pushed against the sword she had picked up she pushed back with equal force causing the edge of the blade to wobble as both her arm and his hand pushed back against each other with equal force.
Roxsenne pulled her sword away a second later and cried, "Let's start!" She then pulled her sword back and thrust it forward, focusing all her ki into the tip of her weapon. Brandon only had a moment to dodge, block, or counterattack before his body got hit by the full power of Roxsenne's Star Point attack in her base form. Such a technique had a high chance to kill him, however, since this was her first time meeting him she had no idea she was overexerting herself for this simple spar in comparison to his might.

Brandon wasnt surprised that Roxenne would try to keep the sword at his neck. But when she pulled it back, and tried to thrust it at his neck, Bandon yelped as he dodged the thrust by moving to the left of the blade.
He quickly clenched up a fist in his left hand and swung it as hard as he could at Roxenne's chest. But knowing her armour was there to protect her, he heard a voice ring out saying "Shield" as Brandons clenched fist encased itself in his red shimmering chaos energy, forming a shield around it so Brandon wouldnt hurt himself, but if it worked, Brandons fist would feel like something very solid collided with her chest.

Roxsenne's sword thrust missed and when it did she did not mind. It simply meant the guy in front of her had some skills. "What was your name again?" She asked. She felt his fist collide with her chest, but because of the power difference between the attack felt like getting hit by a fly. Even if he was swinging a punch fully encased in his own energy with this "Shield" ability of his. The armor, with its thick metal coating, grated against his punch and caused a few sparks to flew out of the collision point but not else happened.
"I have to ask because you seriously need some training," she continued as she threw a punch at his gut with the hand not holding her sword. At this rate, she felt she was not going to get much training from him so simply asked, "Can you allow me to train you for some Zeni? I'm really short some. I don't care where you come from, but like I have said I need money to get back to my home."

Brandon was shocked to see that his strongest attack just caused sparks. When she asked what his name was again, he replied "Brandon.", and before he could react, he felt a solid force nail his gut, causing the wind to get forced out of him ,causing him to fall to his knees infront of her. "How embarassing for you. Beaten by a girl." He hearda voice say, as he replied "S-Sht up Verlith!.....Fucking Dragon...." as he quickly tried to regain his ability to breathe again.
When she offered to train him for some cash, he looked up at her. "I-If our original deal is still on, then ya, Ill help you get some cash...Dunno how though." He said, as he slowly got up to his feet. his stomach was in pain from that one punch alone. He had taken hits before, but nothing even came close to what Roxenne had done to him.

"It's easy to make cash I think, but to do that we're going to need to look around for people to help. Unfortunately in a society like the one found on this most people seem to want to attack me or do not want my help except in dire situations."
Roxsenne pat her cheek cheek and said, "Now if you can still breath trainee I might have you actually pay me with your money for this training session of ours. So hurry up and hit me again, maybe in the face this time and see if you can cause some actual damage with that punch of yours."

"Ook then..." Brandon said with a nod, as he finally caught his breath. He clenched his fist again, and although his mother taught him never to hit a lady, Roxenne was asking for it, so Brandon thought it would be ok for him to punch her.
And with his late taekwondo training, He remembered what his teacher had said. To not just aim a fist to just break a target, aim your fist past the target. He took those words to heart, as he threw his left hook right to Roxenne's cheek, as he mumbled "Shield" which made his shimmering red chaos energy to surround his fist again, to add the extra 'umpf' into his punch, hoping to atleast impress Roxenne a bit, and show her that he wasnt helpless. But even as his fist would hit her face, Brandon would still try to push his fist through like he was taught.
Granted his kicks were stronger, He felt like he was holding back on her, even when he was putting everything he had into his punch.

Roxsenne took Brandon's punch without flinching unfortunately for him this time it was going to collide with her blue Self Energy Barrier as she set in it motion the moment his powered up fist tried to make contact with her soft flesh. She smirked and noted, "I'm not sure I can even feel anything underneath this blue barrier of mine."
It must have been like hitting a brick wall with his hand. This is what Roxsenne thought as she raised her right knee and cried, "Royal Boot!" Her body continued glowing with her aura and she fired out a power roundhouse kick into his rib cage hoping to knock some more training into the poor man.
