Prying the doors to the throne room wide open Anri revealed the grand room in which the dog-man was awaiting for their arrival, already he took notice of the laid back, lazy demeanor the he was showing off too them but it was a common theme for kemuri. As often as he held himself above other people, calling them weak and pitiful he wasn't as different from them as he made himself out to be. Having spent most of his time wandering around the castle at the dog-mans side he had gotten plenty of time to understand Kemuri but he hadn't yet decided if the man was literally crazy or had some grand scheme going on that no one else but himself could yet see. Interesting was the least of many things that he could call the dog-man man, whenever it seemed like he was going to do one thing he would do another. It almost seemed that he enjoyed watching others in confusion, and maybe that was his real plan all along. Regardless of what his plans were Anri really didn't care as long as he received his payments after the end of the job he was more than happy too do what the man asked of him. Money talks in Anri's world, it make planets shift, and got the job done, he wasn't above doing terrible things for cash, as long as he had been working for the dog-man nothing as of yet had been in that category but it was all in due time. The details of just who he was going to face for Kemuri was still in the dark, but he expected that whoever he was going to face they weren't to live long against the might of a Vennor warrior, in fight the only person that have staved off death from Anri as of yet was Jenn, though their fight had been a spar and a good one if that. He was willing to kill, but the price had too be just right, the harder the opponent he faced the more cash he would need to line his pockets.
With the door now cracked wide open it was Kemuri that spoke out to Rosen first, though it was not surprised as he always got the first words and the last, a ture king to the very end, at least that's how Anri saw it; he was no king to Anri as this was no his home but he treated him as well as any other royalty he had come across. As the two of the exchanged pleasantries Anri sought comfort off to the side of the great doors that lead to the throne room, whatever the two were doing to discuss probably didn't have to do with him, most likely just business bullshit. Leaning his back against a nearby pillar Anri took a cigarette from the bandoleer that was strapped around his chest, though he didn't much like the flavor of the sticks when he first tried them out he was finding that the taste of growing on him, like a weed, no matter how many times you tried to kill it, the damn thing always sprouted back up. Whether anyone cared about the smoke did little to bother him, he wanted to enjoy himself and he was, he doubted Kemuri would say anything about it, the last time he had burned a gaping whole in the side of his castle he hadn't even as much rose his eye at it, he was sure a little bit of smoke would bother the dog. Pulling a small beam of energy in the tip of his finger Anri lit the end of the white stick and then placed it in the corner of his mouth, taking a deep inhale he could already feel the waves of relaxing coating his being. Mind wandering to the corner of his brain he let himself go limp on the stone pillar, thinking about days past and a few other jobs he had done.
Through the lack of paying attention and drawing on the smoke Anri had almost missed the fact that Rosen had mention himself and Jenn. It seemed like everyone wanted his services but too take him from an already existing contract was not something that was usually done, and Anri had already shown his distaste of the man and wasn't above giving him another jab in the throat. Feeling as though he was going to be pulled unwilling into the conversation Anri found himself being draw forward to regroup with the rest of the rank. Coming up next to Jenn did Anri stop as he caught a glance on her face as she rolled her eyes with displeasure at what Rosen had told Kemuri and he didn't blame her. Unlike himself Anri was pretty much free to pick and chose who he worked for and for how long, if the feeling hit him he could leave with out any questions to find work else where, whereas Jenn seemed to be stuck with the dog-man, and who knew how long that would last for. The relationship between Jenn and Kemuri was still one that confused him, either seemed to enjoy the company of the other and yet here they were, him forcing her to work under his leadership. It was apparent too anyone that came across the two the deep hatred she had for the dog king but how it got that way was something Anri had no understanding as of yet.
Now at her side Anri would gentle jab Jenn on the arm and lean over to her,
"Can you believe his guy? Gotta have some balls if he can just walk up to the dog and ask to borrow us, either than or he's the biggest idiot that this side of the vale as ever seen."
There was truth behind Anri's words of Rosen, it took a lot of courage or stupidity too walk up to a king and ask to borrow his own troops, for his owe uses, if he man wanted them so back then he would have to put something on the table that was worth two elite fighters, but given the resources the man had at his finger tips it was all possible that he did in fact have something worth either of them. Anri wondered just what he could have to offer if anything, business men like him had troves of people and buildings to use at their own whim, could he not find service else where? It wasn't as though Anri wasn't already in the service of Kemuri and Jenn...well Jenn was forced too be here whether she liked it or not... however there was always the drunk that hung around, lurking in the dark areas of the castle... he was pretty much worthless but stronger a normal human, it would also get him out and away from the castle, one less thing for Anri to worry about.

After reaching the main continent via ship Roxsenne walked from the southern half of the world to Central City by foot by crossing many regions of the world including its thick jungles and vast deserts. When she made it to Central City she headed straight for the King's Castle and waited outside at the castle's heavy portcullis. Here, she remembered not too long ago feeling the energy of a great battle inside, but she had not come here to fight herself. So now she came to investigate on her own, and if something evil existed inside she was going to stop it.
"This is so boring..." she said to herself as she held up her right hand in front of her and wiggled her fingers. She would lower herself into a crouched stance reach for her sword with her left hand and charge the metal gate's swinging her sword horizontally to attack it with her special Star Sword technique. To the eye it would look like her sword was glowing with blue fire when in actuality it was her ki. Today though would be the first assault on Kemuri's castle since his last big fight. If her sword hit there was going to be a loud clang as her weapon tore through the castle's first layer of defense and caused the iron bars blocking the front door to drop.
(I hope you don't mind me jumping in. The thread did say open.)

Slender had been following the 'scent' of food for quite some time. Of course, 'scent' was a misnomer, and food for Slender was just energy. But it didn't really matter what words were used, Slender hungered, and wanted to feed. It took special care to keep its own lifeforce hidden on instinct, as it also did everything it could to stay out of sight. Lurking behind corners until eyes were turned, hiding in shadows - its dark body blended well, and with creative use of black tentacles it was able to cover its white face.
And then it spotted her. A female, from what it had gathered observing the local wildlife, armed and strong - so very, very strong. Much stronger than Slender was. It was like looking at the world's largest, angriest cow...and trying to figure out how to get at the T-Bone.
Slender could smell other food nearby, inside the building the female food had attacked. Odd, attacking a building. Perhaps a mating ritual. Regardless, the food inside the castle was almost as good - no, better - no, not as...oh...oh there was a lot of food here. Slender would have to take its time, try and separate out the different smells - each so distinct, so enticing. Patience was key. It was all a matter of time.

((OOC: Roxsenne you should probably wait for the others before posting again, as well Slender has advanced ki suppression so he'd be particularly hard to pick out as his PL would detect as little higher than the average person(4 PL). We've been sticking to a posting order so unless someone else joins you should hold off on posting until it swings back to you that way people can react to your first post))

The man who entered the castle had a very strange proposal. Lend him his soliders. Anri and Bear weren’t really his to lend, the only one that Kemuri truly had power over was Jenn. Though with enough pay Anri could be persuaded no doubt, and Bear seemed to be willing to do what the new king of earth asked. Still… the war with Kami’s men was coming, and no doubt he would be defeated if his soliders were away somewhere else. Though when they were dealt with…
“An interesting request Rosen. One that I may be willing to hear out, though not before the threat of the Kami and his terrorists are dealt with. They are enemies of Earth, and therefore must be dealt with accordingly.” He smiled at the businessman, satisfied that his answer would satisfy him.
A sweaty guard exploded into the room, his face a red pimple of fear.
“My lord! The doors of the castle have just been blown off of their feet by a woman in armor. Her power level is formidable.”
Woman in armor… woman in armor… That rang a bell. Was it the demon he had fought during the original battle. Was this their moment?! Had the final battle come. Kemuri smiled. Though a question remained…
“Is she alone?”
“She does appear to be alone sire. What shall we do?”
“Roll out the welcoming party. Jenn, Anri, go welcome our new guest. Bring her to me.”

Rosen smirked as he stood in the center of the throne room. His hearing was far beyond a normal mortals and thus he heard Anri’s comment about his balls. He couldn’t help it he burst into a full knowing grin. It wasn’t that he was ballsy it was just good business. Partnerships involve trade off and what Rosen wanted was new muscle. Someone he could send somewhere and they instantly command respect.
The two clearly worked well together and both clearly had power, there seemed no reason to split up the pair. And if they both worked for the mutt then he had the power to order them to do as commanded. They would obey him one way or another.
Kemuri’s response threw him for a loop however.
“An interesting request Rosen. One that I may be willing to hear out, though not before the threat of the Kami and his terrorists are dealt with. They are enemies of Earth, and therefore must be dealt with accordingly.”
Terrorists? And Kami was still alive?
“Forgive me, I just heard about your ascension to the throne today. How is-” He stopped as his hearing picked up the sound of another guard running in. A moment later the door slammed open and the man entered.
“My lord! The doors of the castle have just been blown off of their feet by a woman in armor. Her power level is formidable.” he said and once again Rosen noted he was out of breath. Was everyone here with the exception of the two beside him a weakling…
Kemuri’s response was predictable if not appreciated. “Roll out the welcoming party. Jenn, Anri, go welcome our new guest. Bring her to me.”
It was good to see the man take charge and better to see the pair he so wanted under his employ in action. He would hardly pose a challenge for either but hopefully the fool at the gate would give them a test. See if they were worth the price he was willing to pay.
“If you don’t mind I think I’ll watch as well. It’s always good to see what your partners are capable of My Lord.” he said to mutt king.

Jenn raised an eyebrow as she felt a sudden surge of power outside, usually this far in the castle it was actually rather difficult to detect energy signals on the outside which meant that the signal had to belong to someone of significant power, was this perhaps another recruit for Kemuri's 'cause'? She desperately hoped not considering the fact that she knew full well how powerful she and Anri were and how they alone would be a difficult for the forces of Earth to overcome... theoretically not IMPOSSIBLE, especially if tehy could remove the ring from Kemuri's hand but certainly difficult. Adding yet another powerhouse to the 'team' would make things all the more difficult.
However it quuickly became QUITE clear that the new arrival was unlikely a new recruit as a powerful energy attack(or at least Jenn had to assume it was such) rocked the castle shaking even as far into the building as the throne room, not too long after a guard scrambled into the room to provide Kemuri with a damage report and the information that there was in fact an individual outside the castle, a woman at that. Jenn bit her lip at the thought, the only woman she was aware of that was capable of such a feat short of herself was Azazel. Was this the day? Had the forces of Earth decided it was time to make there stand? And if so why was Azazel ALONE? She had to hope that this was apart of some sort of plan, certainly it was Azazel attempting to draw out Kemuri's forces as a distraction while the others made some sort of covert attack on Kemuri himself.
Jenn let out a sigh as Kemuri spoke up giving a command to herself and Anri, they were to bring the woman to him and unfortunately the Hyena had neglected to inform them on the actual condition the woman was in, Anri was just as likely to bring the woman in DEAD and at this point Jenn was doubtful that Azazel could deal with the both of them even with her own power restrained as it was, Anri would be under no such restrictions and was certainly not the type to have just let himself stagnate since they had last fought "I'll assume you want her ALIVE correct?" Jenn would ask before turning on her heels and proceeding to the doors, much as she wanted to stall and await an answer Kemuri's orders had been clear and the wish was beginning to exert its power as she attempted to remain standing in order to await an answer.
Jenn would cast Anri a sideways glance presuming the armored alien followed her, once they were outside of the throne room and thus away from Kemuri's ears directly as unfortunately Rosen felt inclined to follow along in order to see what they were capable of, she didn't much care for his continued presence as his words would have little to no sway over Anri, while her own... at the very least she believed she might have a CHANCE of getting him to give her a chance "Anri, please allow me to take a moment to address the woman. I may be able to have her come with us without...a...fight..." Jenn trailed off as she began to realize that what she was requesting was potentially the very opposite of what her companion would be interested in which almost certainly complicated matters. "Rosen why are you REALLY following us, I do not know if you can comprehend the situation but if I CANT settle things without conflict you don't stand a chance of survival if someone hits you with a stray blast. I'm not exactly fond of you but I may as well enlighten you to your potential ignorance. IF you ARE aware of the magnitude of this situation then I really have no words to describe how idiotic you are for actually wanting to be around what is very likely to become a battlefield." Jenn said with a heavy sigh almost feeling a bit dirty as she chose to in some way actually take action to protect the man.

It was as though Anri was listening to bureaucrats between Kemuri and Rosen, a business man and a politician going back in forth with one another, they should just hurry up and fuck each other and get it over with. After all politicians were in bed with big business, though it was more of saying it held true. Most of what they spoke mattered little to Anri, his lust was too be somewhere else as of now, maybe off sleeping or even doing repair work around the castle, anywhere than here. This wasn't his place, there was no need for his strength here, Rosen was silver tongued and cunning, but he lacked any real physical strength. Compared to the humans he bossed around he was a demon in a black suit but everyone in this room could have tossed him around like an old pig skin, even making a game out of it. Kemuri was more than strong enough to take care of the man even if something went wrong, but he would probably much more prefer if he didn't have to get his hands dirty. Since Kemuri had not dismissed him though Anri stayed around never knowing when the dog man might need him.
Anri snapped his head back over his shoulder at the explosion that rang through out the area though it was Jenn that had been the first one that had taken note of the energy of person. Anri could sense others energies as well to a degree though it had taken till the explosion to notice that anyone was near the castle and their power was enough too seem to have some challenge too them, who ever it was they were in for a fight. Had it just been Anri it would have pretty much been toe to toe when it came down the combat but with Jenn on his side there wasn't a chance in hell that they couldn't win. It was the panicked and sweating guard that ran into the room that confirmed what he already knew but was glad to receive some information on who it was that was assaulting the castle, though it appear too be just one lone woman who was well equipped with armor. Nothing Anri hadn't faced before but he was eager too see this person with own two eyes, before the order had even been given Anri had quickly slipped his way out of the throne room heading in the general direction where the main gate lay at.
It wasn't until Anri was halfway across the castle did he take notice that Jenn and Rosen where on his heels, truth of the matter he had almost forgotten they were even in the castle, his mind was solely focused on the woman at the gate. Who was she? And what beef did she have with Kemuri? There were thousands of good reasons in which anyone would go after the dog-man but it was very forth coming for someone to act on their emotions against the king, after all it wasn't as though he lived in a simple one story house in the suburbs, this was a fucking castle, deck out with heavy duty artillery and cannons, many of which he had been working to up grade, given their out of date technology; there was also many guards that walked the halls. This was not a place for a lone warrior to engage in combat with, not with how much this structure packed with weapons and soldiers, at best anyone that faced their forces wanted to commit suicide, plan and simple as that. Though it could be that whoever was attacking Kemuri had no idea just what lay inside the castle for them, let alone Kemuri could most likely take the woman on without so much as any strain in manner but too take Anri, and Jenn on was something that no one should face alone.
Slowing his pace so that Jenn could kept up too him it wasn't until she was right up next to him that she began to ask him not to jump right into the fight, and let her speak to the woman before he did anything.
"You have to be kidding me right? She busted down the front gate and is going to storm the castle and you want me to stand by and just let you talk to her? I don't really think she's in the talking mood otherwise a simple phone call would have been in order, hell even a letter would have worked. The path she chose was one meant for war, if there had been another way she would have taken it before arriving at this option." Anri explained too Jenn, though it was her trailing off words that caught Anri.
As much as Anri wanted a good fight, there were other ways to get around conflicts, and Jenn hadn't ever asked anything for him in the past... well other than to betray Kemuri when the time arose... he could always use a favor from a woman as strong as Jenn was... thinking about what he should do he listened too Jenn talk to Rosen. As much of a distaste she had for the man she was looking our for his well being ,much too Anri but surprise, if it was up too him he would let him tag along, there was no way he was going to be effective but maybe he would be good for blocking one attack before his body burned to ashes. The way Jenn said it however was more of an attack on the mans intelligence which made Anri laugh at her words, hoping the man would have a good rebuttal too it, with his quick silver tongue. Though Anri originally had a great hate for the man with his quick means of think he was a dumb slab of muscle he have to admit his charisma was one that would make most people believe what ever he had to say.
"Alright Jenn, I'll give you some time to try and resolve this issue before I leap in and tear into her, but you owe me one. Don't know what it will be, or when but if you really want to have your word with her it gonna cost you." Anri grinned as he walked out through the main door that led out into the court yard.
Already it was apparent how much damage the initial attack had done as chucks of the iron gate that had been welded strongly together were scattered across the yard as even a few stray peices were embedded into the sides of the castle walls and the massive oak door that led into the castle, looking similar too when a shrapnel bomb went off, it wasn't the prettiest way to kill people but it sure effective. The surrounding plants were completely wrecked looking as though a hurricane had blown through ripping the leaves from the branches even tearing a few from the soil. Out standing a ways from the three of them was a the lone woman who seemed to be mostly protected from all sides by a thick seat of shinny armor, covering all but her head and her neck. Wielding a long white sword the looks of wish making Anri hope it didn't come into contact with his person anytime soon, it was hard to tell just what the weapon was made of but either it was a light composite material or the woman was much stronger than her physical appearance told him, as she held it as though it weighed nothing. It was an odd sight too see such a powerful person wielding any type of weapon but their fists, Anri had never found any material that could with stand the forces he applied when swing it on his targets, often the weapon would break after a few swing ending up with him going back to his old fashion hands. Though he personally didn't use weapons often in combat he was well trained in a variety of weapons, swords, maces, guns, bows, you name it and Anri held some skill in them though no one would have called him a master in any of them, just a jack of all trades.
Now with the three of them at the door way Anri took the lead down the stair case until he was at the bottom of the stairs in what was left of the garden, not but a hundred feet away from the lone warrior. Waiting for Jenn to step down next too him Anri would glance over at her.
"All yours, but at the first sight of any trouble I going in full speed, not gonna have anyone get hurt on my watch." He stated, letting Jenn know he had her back.
"Keep some distance and go get her." He waited till Jenn would pass by him and then he would give her a light slap on the ass with his opened hand keeping his eyes locked on the lone warrior, Anri did it not for any sexual means but more of saying good luck. Keeping his face stern he watched over the woman in case she were too many any sudden movements. Facing towards her he called out to Rosen.
"So you just here to watch the show right? Assessing our skills for whatever you have planned I would take it? Men like you don't stop what your doing with out any good reason. I can tell you right now what ever your expectation for us are too low, I know from personal experience that Jenn is a great fighter, not to mention her mind is well developed. As for me... hell just take a look at me, there is a reason I'm built the way I am, tank by nature, merc by choice." Anri held up his hand palm facing towards Rosen too show him the fresh wound from when he had sparred Jenn.
"She did this and she likes me." He grinned.

There were so many power levels around her. Roxsenne could sense this as she stood in the ruins of the castle's gate. She thought she felt smaller powers mixed in with some of the people now rushing in to investigate her, but found her abilities could not stretch as far as she wanted them to. She could not sense everyone weaker than her as she had always thought she could. The reason being that it was simply impossible. She needed to though because in her mind she felt and thought this strange castle she had never entered but had seen power coming from might be hiding her uncle and his goons. Someone in this castle had released a lot of energy during a fight or an argument and intrigued her interest in the recent past.
As she stood at the gate admiring her work the steel and wood that had shattered with a single swing of her sword laid strewn before her. At least one cannon had fallen off the wall and lay on top of a rose bush crushing it beneath its metal frame as she admired the castle's interior garden. Among the shattered flowers the castle's human defenders lay prone on the ground, damaged by her initial attack, or terrified by her amazing power.
Roxsenne would gently let her sword lay flat and perpendicular to her body in both hands. The blade would point towards the wall that made up the castle's right side and as she gazed down at her weapon she wondered, "Is uncle here? I hope I've not made a mistake."
Her only desire was to find him. Or anyone related with him. But in her mind it seemed he might not be here. She barely took notice as she thought about this of the man in the business suit, the armored alien, and the female genie in robes coming at her. They did not concern her even though their combined power made her a little nervous. She was sure she could take out one of them, but it was hard to gauge them as she pushed her sensing powers to the limit to figure out who they might be before acting further. The way they approached her from the top of the steps they seemed in a hurry to get rid of her, but as all of them paused they were probably figuring out how to take care of her and this incident before them.
It made Roxsenne frustrated as she rolled her blue-gray eyes and tapped her right, heavy metal boot on the ground. She did not have all day and if one of them did not come forward she was indeed intending to attack. A castle always meant knights occupied it, which meant in her mind that possibly her uncle Harmut was located there. As she thought his name though something about this did not seem right. Not her desire to kill him, but his actual name. It didn't sound like anything or seem to represent anything at all. Why was she thinking this at a time like this? Well, "It's got to be because I still have no clue what he's doing with humans in NEON who he's never told any of us Caballye about." She mentally told herself.

Looking around though Roxsenne could not feel the usual people from NEON around her. Instead she felt new power signatures that were unfamiliar to her. "I suppose I better leave," Roxsenne told herself as she sheathed her sword, "although I am unhappy to have destroyed this castle's nice front door. Best fix the problem as best I can."
To which Roxsenne did so by saying, "Hello, my name is Roxsenne. I apologize for barging in here. But I came to investigate someone with a large amount of power here who I thought might be someone I know. Looking around though, well, you all seem pretty strong so I doubt he's here." She then reached into her armor's plating and pulled out a bag of zeni tossing it to the three defenders Mahajenn, Rosen, and Anri expecting one of them to catch the bag.
"Take this and repair your place... If I can get in here whoever you've fortified this against is going to have a rather easy time getting in here as well. Repair your gate with this money and I will leave you in peace." Roxsenne then took a bow, turned around and walked out of the complex hoping not to stir up more trouble in the court yard. This was an opportunity for the castle to become a better defended place against the real coming threat that would soon be coming to their door step.

Kemuri sat and waited for his minions to apprehend the intruder. With those that served under him growing more and more powerful by the day it should be an easy task. Sensing the individual’s power level now he realized they may have been strong enough to blow the door clean of the hinges, but they were far from a real threat. It was more the principle behind it. As the new ruler of Earth he needed to make sure the people understood he would not idle stand by if he or his people were threatened, no matter how weak the foe. Sure he had let that group escape before, but that was all part of the plan. Those that opposed his rule would gather and inevitable attack again…if he didn’t find them first. When they did all of them would be in once place and they could easily be eliminated as a whole.
Following them with his senses Kemuri silently taps his chin, not needing to see them to know what was transpiring. Soon there would be a power spike, most likely from Anri as he apprehended the intruder. As violent as that one tended to be, Jenn seemed to be able to keep him in control as well, apparently he did listen to more than just money. It was interesting really, the small group he had assembled in such a short time. No one would be able to stand against them.
Waiting for that power spike as the attacker was apprehended the hyena sat forward when he notices something strange. The one responsible for the damage to his castle was walking away. What were those buffoons doing? He had told them to capture the individual, not let it go free! All three of his lackeys stood there as the signature moved farther away, for whatever reason letting the intruder go free. Letting out a long sigh Kemuri raises from his seat. They worked for him, but still had far to go before they were an effective fighting force. He had had enough of this today. Even Rosen had tested his patience, the man a possible business partner in the future, but as for today Kemuri was done. Without a word to the, which he could have done over the intercom, he heads for his chambers.
(Sorry, I know this is horrible, but this thread sort of got cut short. From what I was told you guys wanted me to just end it anyway right?)

Rosen followed the pair out into the courtyard eager to see them fight someone more on their level. The newest intruder would have to be on par with them in order to risk a frontal assault, but when he got there he was shocked to see a young woman. To further his surprise she looked just as surprised to see them. With a word she dropped a bag of zeni in front of them to "pay for repairs" and walked away. Normally Rosen would have stopped her or sent Mercy to have her killed but damn. He was so shocked at the woman's stones he didn't even think about it till she was out of his line of site.
She invaded the palace of one of if not the most powerful man on earth. Stared down his two body guards both capable of ripping a building apart brick by brick and didn't flinch and then just left without so much as an apology. He couldn't help it, his normal calm business like demeanor cracked and Rosen found himself laughing. Not his normal derisive laugh at someone's expense, but a deep belly laugh he hadn't experienced in years. It was refreshing.
With that he turned and followed the woman out the gates and back to his car Mercy trailing along a step behind. Not bothering to look back over his shoulder at the underlings he shouted. "Let me know when your services are available. We still have business to discuss and so many opportunities for all." and with that he got in the car and Mercy drove them back to Rosen corp.

Confusion was the first thing to set in as the woman spoke towards the three of them, seeing as though it was all a mistake of her arriving here in the first place, the way she spoke he could hear the obvious confusion in her voice. Were his ears failing him or had she really came to the wrong place? It wasn't as though castles were numerous in numbers on this world, as it stood most of those types of structures were a rare sight to see in such an advanced world, falling most often on worlds that were still primitive in development. Even with her explanation he found himself in disbelief at what she was telling them, it was one thing to take a wrong turn at Alphaquerque, but this was one structure on one planet, not something that could be mistaken for another, especially with the reputation that Kemuri held with his name alone.
As the woman he had come to know as Roxsenne reached into her chest plate to retrieve something Anri tensed his muscles up, as well as her story had come out it all seemed to farfetched to believe, for all he knew she was trying to pull a distraction on them to lower their guard. Though he did nothing to stop Roxsenne he kept his eyes fixed solely on her. It came as somewhat of a relief too see she pulled out a small sack that jingled lightly with every movement she made, Anri didn't have to see what was inside to know that it was cash, after spending so many years looking for the damn stuff he knew the sound of coins brushing up against one another from miles away. Tossing the bag out in the open area between the two groups it was Anri that made a mad dash toward taking up the bag of coins in his leathery hands; explaining that it was too be used to fix the damages that had been done the armored alien smirked at the thought.
"This is why people have insurance." He thought to himself as he laughed away in his mind.
"Right... thanks." Anri turned away as he pulled the leather strap and looked over the contents inside, his attention no longer focused on that of the woman or even the order than Kemuri had given out, he had been given money and that's all that he cared about now; until the dog man really needed his services then he could go fuck himself. Heading off from the castle the woman made her way back towards the city, just as she passed what was left of the gate Anri was passing right by Jenn.
"So much for your little chat, maybe next time." Anri joked his eyes still fixated on the small coins, the other half of his mind was busy counting away.
Climbing the steps of the stair way Anri meet up with Rosen as he was laughing away from the site he had just beheld, had it not been for the fact that the alien was currently busy with his new found wealth he would have been laughing right along with Rosen. Coming to a halt where he stood atop the stairs a mental note came to him, turning to face Rosen, Anri placed his plated hand on the man's shoulders.
"I don't know just how well you will get along around here but fair warning I wouldn't get involved with the hairy drunk that walks these corridors, he will only bring you woe." It was a short warning but it got his point across with his cold words. As always Anri still held a strong hate for the hairy man even when he had not seen him for days at a time he felt like his presence still lingered on the air through out the castles halls. The warning had been clear enough to let Rosen know that he should pick his allies in the castle carefully, though they were on the same side there were great divisions amongst Kemuri's followers. Jenn despised the dog-man greatly and both Anri and bear hated each other around the same level though Anri had the means of disposing the creature if given the right opportunity too.
Taking his leave in the wake of the woman Rosen made his way down the stairs with his assistant hot on his trail almost as if she was the man's shadow, it seemed as though he no longer had any business to speak of which the new king. After all the time he spent here it seemed that he only cared to spread his own agenda and not that of Kemuri, as always the business world was one that would chew you into a bloody pulp and then spit you out into the gutter. There was a great distrust for the business man but Anri had to admit the man had class and a heart cold enough to freeze hell over twice, everything about him gave Anri the sense that if given the choice the man would kill his own family to expand his business empire... and it was a good thing, at least that's how Anri saw it. There was no trust with a man such as that but there was respect to be held, only but a few had the will power and a heart cold enough to go through with such things. For now it seems as though their paths have split but he was sure that wasn't going to be the last he saw of Rosen, after all once you worked with the dog-man it seemed as though he knew everything there was to know about you.
Ducking his head Rosen under the door he climbed into the limo as the door was closed behind the business man as his assistance was quick to get into the vehicle, after a few seconds they drove away till he could no longer make them out from the rest of the cars that drove nearby.
"Well come on Jenn, lets go tell the dog-man what happened, sure he will be 'thrilled' to hear this one." Arni chuckled as he shoved the bag of coins into one of his many pockets.

Jenn had been so prepared for what she had believed was to some, she'd been plotting out how best to deal with things ranging from how to successfully convince whoever it was that was attacking to stand down and come with them in order to meet with Kemuri, an admittedly BAD scenario for the person in question but perhaps better than being beaten down and then dragged to Kemuri. At least in that scenario Kemuri might be a bit more lenient with someone he thought might just be looking to get his attention, her plans also ranged into how best to deal with the battle that would certainly ensue if the attacker decided they wanted no part of friendly discussion or surrender this was the scenario that Jenn considered most likely as the attacker most likely bore some sort of grudge against Kemuri...
But then the unexpected happened, not a few moments after they began making there way out of the castle the energy signature powered up and blasted forward arriving near them and revealing the attacker to be a young woman in a set of rather heavy looking armor. She then apologized for her actions and tossed a heavy bag down nearby and as it impacted the ground it made the familiar sound of coins jingling against one another. This action was one that Jenn had been utterly unprepared for and as it stood it also appeared that none of the others had expected it as well as they all stood there looking quite flabbergasted as the woman spoke. Before anyone of them could realize what was going on she was already gone and with the woman gone Anri all but pounced upon the sac of money.
Rosen appeared to grow bored with the situation and simply wandered off back into the castle, likely to speak with Kemuri again as Anri began to make off with the money that the woman had indicated was intended for repairing the castle, the look in the Vennor's eyes however seemed to indicate little to no interest in doing so and out of amusement Jenn decided to follow along partially to see if he really was just swiping the money and also out of curiosity of what modern currency looked like and to see if perhaps she could procure some of the contents for herself, most likely she would have no need for actual money as her manifestation dealt with essentially all of her needs but if she ever ventured out into the modern world she would need actual money if she wanted to try out modern food. She could replicate food she had already eaten but something new needed to be tried first in order to produce a memory of taste that she could draw upon.
