The last thing Brandon remembered, was darkness as Verlith took control of everything in his last few moments of existence. He regretted not being able to say goodbye to the woman he loved, nor to his parents before Verlith bonded with him.
Brandon didnt beleive in the afterlife at first. He beleived in science, and not religion, so he believed that when a person died, they just faded into nothing. He wasnt ready to face the void yet. He knew that the woman who killed him was obviously a new member of Kemuri's forces, and an extremely powerful one at that. He had to warn the others, but he couldnt now...He was dead...
But instead of exisitng in nothingness, Brandon felt like he could move, and so by instinct, Brandon slowly opened his eyes, and saw light greeting him.
Shielding his eyes, Brandon waited a few moments for them to get adjusted to the light, before he saw that he was in what looked like an large office. "Where am...I..." He said to himself, as his memory flashed back to the palace, as he then quickly checked himself for the cuts that were made on him that ended his life. Nothing. His clothes were untattered or even cut.
"Whats...going on here?" He said, more confused then he had ever been. He waited for Verlith to answer, but no voice replied to him. he was seemingly alone in his head, which was a first. It was quite...relaxing...

“Next.” The loud voice rang out, the next soul ushered into the giant ogres office. Head propped up with one arm; King Yemma waits as the next one makes his way in. The soul to walk across the office was an old Namekian, the elder of a small village on the Namekian home world. In his younger days he had traveled the stars as a trader, but that is not all he had done while venturing to new worlds. Stronger than most he had helped those he could, even saved the lives of a handful of others in his travels. Yemma knew of this and was prepared to let the man go to heaven should he have no objections himself. The only problem as the old one was so slow, the ogre tapping his fingers on his mahogany desk. Such a piece of furniture was worthy of the King that sat at it, the rich mahogany magically enhanced so that it always seemed to be freshly polished.
When the Namekian had finally stepped before the desk King Yemma spoke.
“Welcome Ritco. Do you wish to say anything before I make my decision?"
Slowly the old Namekian shakes his head, having long ago been at peace with what he had done in his life. For him there was no desire to control his fate, he believed that his deeds would speak for themselves. It was actually quite strange for a soul to choose to say nothing, but something the King was fine with, there were many after him that would no doubt wish to speak their mind.
“Ritco, for the good deeds you have performed in your life, I shall grant you access to heaven. I hope that you enjoy your time there, you may even find that death is much simpler than life.”
Nodding in understanding the Namekian accepts his fate as his soul begins to shimmer before vanishing completely. As new as this was to the recently deceased Namekian, it was old news to Yemma.
“Next.”

Brandon thought there was something familiar about the area he was in. Something about it he knew already, and when he heard "Next", it popped into his head. "No way..."He said, as he followed the voice, and saw King Yemma himself waiting for him...a Very bored King Yemma. "So everything about the Anime has been true so far! Then that desk must be really made of Mahogany... Mmm, what a nice choice of wood..." He said, as he made his way to infront of his desk and sighed.
He knew King Yemma could see things in people that normal mortals would, so Brandon thought it would be best to tell the truth, and nothing but the truth. "Hello King Yemma. Tis an honour to meet you. You probably know who I am, and before you say anything..." He started to say, feeling more and more nervous as time went on.
"I know, that I have done some things that I am not proud of...at all... Some of the things I will take responsibility for, but I was left in a position where I didnt have much choice in the matter. Somethings I have done were in an attempt to prevent certain monstrosities from continuing to other people." He said, as his mind turned back to what Rosen had done since he was captured in his underground laboratory. The one terrible deed he did in his life, however short it was. He regretted every moment of that day, but he took some comfort knowing that Rosen would not be able to do such horrible things ever again.
He also regretted not listening to Azazel and the others about scouting out Kemuri's castle. That was a major mistake on his part, but intel was something the group needed, and the retrieval of Jenn SEEMED like a good idea at that time, but it failed miserably with the appearence of the new evil female that took his life...
"I await your decision King Yemma, and I will not argue with it."

Most waited to be addressed when in King Yemma’s presence, this brash human boy speaking right up though as he moved closer to the mahogany desk. It started off as a respectful greeting as the boy speaks of how honored he was to meet the King. It was something Yemma had heard many times of his long life, his presence in the afterlife not so much a mystery after that talkative fool Goku had spoken so much of him to others. The knowledge had been passed along mostly by word of mouth, but that had been enough for multiple individuals to speak so politely when they met the ogre. The respectful greeting was pleasant, but then the human chose to jump to his own defense. The human race was always quick to defend its actions, no matter how horrible they might be, by the same statement Brandon used. They never had a choice, the action they had taken always the only path they had available. Why could they never sacrifice themselves for others?
“I know what it is you have done Brandon Potter. You enter my office and try to defend these actions before I have even given you permission to speak? It seems that you have not learned from your experiences in life and as you did in the past, acting before you think. I shall pass my judgment on you Brandon, and you will have no choice. My word is final and my word is law here, even if your own actions have decided what it is I must say.” Yemma straightens some, leaning on his desk as his large eyes look down to the small boy.
“Brandon Potter, for what you have done in your short life I condemn you to serve your time in the afterlife in Hell. Perhaps there you will see what it is to suffer, and perhaps in time repent for what it is you have done to others. This is my judgment.” With the end of the statement King Yemma’s gavel slams down, the loud sound echoing through the small office. No sooner had it reached Brandon’s ears than did his body start to shimmer before winking out.
(King Yemma’s official judgment is that you shall be sent to Hell. Shortly the board will be up and you may post your arrival to the underworld and see what might await you there.)
