The takeover of the kitchen had been pitifully easy, despite the size of the kitchen the the likelihood that it had once maintained a massive staff simply to keep it running at full capacity what remained of its staff was pitifully tiny, almost certain because of the hostile nature by which the castle had been taken over and the fact that the man that now ruled it was an utterly idiotic psychopath with delusions of grandeur, upon there arrival there had only been a bare bones crew of cooks at work, most likely just cooking up meals for the guards, the men and women that comprised the palace's kitchen staff were not warriors by any means and it had only taken a harsh look and a burst of fire around her shoulder to send them scurrying to any exit that they could find some even tripping over one another just to get out of the room before she actually took a step inside and one unfortunate fool took what sounded like an incredibly painful fall down the stairs to the wine cellar in his haste. The faint sounds of his groans of pain could still be heard occasionally which meant that the man was likely still alive too which Della could find herself incapable of caring, he was a human and thus not exactly someone she was particularly fond of but at the same time he'd been at least smart enough to try and leave her alone... his directional sense and decision making beyond that were certainly lacking but fear was just as good at making one irrational as it was at motivating.
Thus with the staff having abandoned the kitchens her takeover was complete in a matter of seconds, Della smirked as she took in the various scents of what they had left cooking and wandered about the Kitchen inspecting what was left behind, a few of the dishes were already completed and were simply cooling while others were as of yet unfinished and as she had no interest in working with the strange machines that they had been using to cook with would almost certainly end up burned or otherwise ruined. Rather casually Della began poking through the various cabinets and cupboards finding bowls, plates, and various utensils and just generally ignoring Anri as she began to load up a platter of various foods humming an old song to herself as she went about her work occasionally stopping to taste something before simply adding a hearty helping of it to her platter. She was well aware that the Vennor was almost certainly awaiting some form of response from her, he'd followed her because she had told him that if he did he would receive some form of answer as to who exactly she was and of course she had every intention of actually providing such, it was just a matter of WHEN, she did not much feel like talking about it immediately. She'd just gotten DONE with Jenn and she certainly had no interest in something that was so negative while she was trying to enjoy her new freedom.
Della would quickly find her platter utterly filled to the brim just as she reached a basket filled with an assortment of breads, a small frown formed on her face as she looked from her carefully arranged platter to the bread before an idea popped into her head, she shifted the weight of the platter from both hands to just one and even with all of Della's poise it was clear that the platter would NOT remain safely in hand if she attempted to move with it in just one hand, this was quickly remedied as Della snatched a large loaf of bread and brought it up to her mouth sinking her teeth into the middle and then quickly returning ehr other hand to the platter returning it to a safe balance as she sauntered over to the table in the middle of the kitchen, likely used primarily for preparing foods it would now serve as her dining table for the time being as she placed her platter down before herself and manifested a large vaguely throne-like chair for herself. Just before Della would take a seat she seemed to have a moment of realization and in an instant the woman would vanish from sight, just as quickly as she left however Della returned now armed with three bottles snatched from deep within the wine cellar, a 'quick' use of Shunpo had made it simple enough to find some of the older bottles. Placing the bottles next to her food Della took one more look over her assembled feast, she certainly didn't NEED all of this food, truth eb told her manifestation could handle her need for food and water for what was likely a nearly indefinite amount of time at this point. But she'd never gotten a chance to personally taste any sort of food, everything she knew was second hand, extensions of Jenn's experiences. She wanted HER OWN experiences things she could remember years down the road as truly her's.
Taking her seat in her totally-not-a-throne Della finally turned to face Anri and gave the Vennor a smirk, as she tried to gauge if she'd managed to ruffle his feathers at all by keeping him waiting, the armored extraterrestrial was certainly a difficult one to read but her memories of Jenns interactions gave her at least some insight into him "You should grab some for yourself, the food is surprisingly good all things considered" Della said the smirk never leaving her lips as she began to tear into her mini-feast oocasionally letting out a satisfied sigh, THIS had been exactly what she had wanted it was so much more REAL than experiencing a memory even if that memory belonged to someone who was essentially her other half. A loud POP heralded Della's first foray into the older wines available in the castle as she manifested a jeweledwine glass for herself and took a long sip as she awaited some form of response or reaction from Anri.

The trip through the castle had been a quite one between the two of them though Anri's mind was filled too the brim with questions and curiosity as too what had become of Jenn herself... whoever, or whatever was inside her skin, they were not the same person that he had known all along but they were indeed similar, but that was mostly due to the fact that they were the same person but Anri had no knowledge of that fact as of yet. The woman had agreed to answer his questions, however as much there might be though she requested, more of told Anri they should do it else were than in the security room which in the last hour had become a grave yard for a particular human that had wondered into the castle, even to Anri's own surprise it had not been himself that ended the boy's life but that of Jenn who completed the task... or Delashno as she had addressed herself earlier. Not wanting to argue with the woman he had stayed quite and on her heels as they wandered through the castle, though looking for what was beyond him. Della had not stated specifically too where it was that they were heading but he believed that it would be somewhere within the confines of the castle walls, after all without a command from the dog-man himself leaving the castle was difficult for the magical woman.
Twisting and turning through the hallways eventually Anri found himself at the entrance way too the castle's kitchen as a grin appeared on his face at the sight of it. Ah woman... their minds always seemed too be on the wonderful flavors of food. Sighing with a slight shake of his head he followed into the mostly clean kitchen seeing a few dirty pots and pans that filled the sinks, from the smell alone in the air he knew that lunch was right around this time, no doubt that the food that was being prepared was for that of the men that watched over the castle grounds. At the flaming sight of Della the few cooks that staffed the kitchen were quick to clear out, having no such powers or skill to protect them it was wise on their part as they scurried out of Della's way and evacuated through any door in which they could find... which didn't end too well for one of the staff as they just so happen to chose the one door that went straight into the wine cellar. Sounding similar too that of a cartoon character falling down the stairs with bashing and swears Anri gave off a small laugh at the sound of it. Fear was a great way to control these human's, the knowledge of controlling ones own powers had been known to them for many years and yet many still did not practice the teachings, leaving themselves weak and defenseless towards those outsiders that had.
With the kitchen now clear of anyone but the two of them Anri wanted to pull up a chair too take a seat at one of the many counters but he knew from past experience that many human chairs could not support his massive frame for more than a few minutes at a time, so rather he stood as he watched Della rummage through the food that had been laid out taking quite a bit from every dish that she tasted and found too be of her favor. Eventually the small plate was over flowing with dozen's of different types of food, ranging from eastern dishes all the way out to the far west and everything in between, even though her plate was past the point of over flowing she still snatched up a large chuck of bread before she sought she had more than enough to satisfy her hunger lust. Finding a different use for the metal table in which food was too be prepared on Della converted it into a dinner table and set her filled platter atop it as she manifested a large chair that would have been fit for that of a king... or at least some type of royalty would find themselves sitting upon it. Just as her bottom moved to sit in the throne her face lit up and in a puff of smoke the woman vanished into thin air only to reappear once more but this time she held three bottles of wine in her hand as the thick green glass clinked off one another. Just from a quick glance and style of the bottles Anri could tell that they were indeed not cheap in the most extreme case of that word, a bottle such as those could set him up with a nice house on the coast but instead it looked as though Della would be enjoying them along with her freshly made ten course meal.
Though as interesting as it was too see just how excited the woman was Anri didn't much care for her antics, purely there too extract answers and cared little for anything else at the moment. Reaching for his bandolier Anri pulled at one of the straps that held the pocket closed and pulled out a long brown cigar, the sweet tobacco smell would waft up and into his nose with the mixture of everything else in the room, almost as though he was at a yacht party where only the rich and powerful went to mindlessly mingle about their overly pointless wealth. Ripping off the end of the brown wrapper Anri placed the rolled yacht stick into his mouth as he lit the tip of it up with his index finger, letting the flames take a hold he took a deep breath in letting the dull embers burn brighter and brighter. With a large intake of air Anri blew the smoke out through his neck creating a small cloud of smoke around him only for it too be absorbed through his gills once more in a repetitive fashion until the smoke was no more.
At Della's comment about the food Anri shook his head at the idea of it all, his stomach did not crave anything nutrients right now, if anything was consumed now it would only end up being converted into fat, something of which he needed none of. The smirk that had appeared on Della's face made him raise his eye brow at just what she might be doing but Anri left it as it was without saying anything about it, he was still looking for answers, none of which he had received as of yet but over the many years his tolerance for waiting had been something he improved vastly on, sitting in a ship alone for hours at a time would do that too a person no matter how tough they thought they were. Anri had decided to let the woman indulge herself a little longer in the meal in which she was consuming seeming as though it had been years since she had eaten anything the way she was going on about it. The small sighs and the small layer of red at the tips of her cheeks proved that she enjoyed it enough, though he had seen Jenn... or Della eat in the past, so why enjoy it so much now?
With the popping of the wine top Della poured a large helping of the crimson wine till the point the jeweled cup she had summoned was near the top, placing the bottle back down she was quick to take a long drink from the beverage before she let out a high pitch gasp for air. Seeing that she had tried at least a little bit of something by this point Anri though it was a good a time as any too speak as he shifted the cigar from one side of his mouth to the other as he took a long inhale trying to think of what he would ask of her first; there were so many question but one stood out more than the rest of them did.
"So I believed you mentioned that your name was Delashano right before you cut that human into ribbons, good work might I add, but the woman I knew that held this body was a person by the name of Jenn. If I'm not mistaken you two are not the same person at least in a sense, the tone of your voice and your personality don't exactly match up too that of Jenn's. At first I though you might be having some sorta stroke but seeing the ending results I know that isn't what happened. So I guess my real questions are, who are you, where is Jenn, and how did you take control of her body?" Anri asked crossing his arms over one another with thick plumes of smoke coming from his mouth.

It would have certainly been incredibly frustrating that Anri seemed to have little to no actual reaction to her lack of interest in telling him what he wanted immediately if it had not been at least somewhat expected, there was perhaps a good chance that Anri WAS in fact perturbed by this but if the Vennor wanted that hidden then peering past the mask was just a bit too far beyond her ability at the moment, especially with such wonderful distractions such as the various cooked fowl and other livestock that she had taken sampling of most of the food was even better than she had implied when she had suggested that Anri take some for himself as she only got a chance to truly understand the wonders of the various tastes of the food once she actually began to dig into it. Sure some of it was perhaps spiced a bit too heavily and others not enough but that was a simple fix by just eating those together and creating all new and even more wonderful tastes. Some of these flavors were things that not even Jenn had experiences, spices discovered long after her return to the ring, recipes invented or perfected in this more modern age with new techniques for preparing food... perhaps at the very least the technology that produced this sort of food was at the very least tolerable. ANYTHING that could make something like the chicken she was presently eating was good in her book.
The corner of Della's lip quirked in annoyance at the sight of Anri's cigar, a far more refined style of cigar than what had existed in her time but it was east enough to identify the offending item considering the general style stayed the same. She'd never been much of a fan of that type of indulgence but she was not about to start complaining about it now as it was really just a small annoyance and one that could be very easily mitigated if the smell began to become just a bit too much for her tastes. She'd payed some small amount of attention as Anri watched her silently, he appeared to be trying to figure out the puzzle of what happened without any of the information he would actually need to even begin. All eh really had to go on was her name and sadly the Vennor almost certainly could do little with that. Jenn had at most provided the first half of there name 'Mahajenn' though Anri like most stuck with just plain old 'Jenn' when referring to her blue counterpart. Della idly wondered what sort of conclusions Anri might have come to if he knew their full name, would any of this have even been necessary? Perhaps he would have just assumed she was using her last name as a means of disguising herself.
The silence between them was broken once more as the armored behemoth from the stars spoke up finally, sadly it was not to accept her suggestion that he join her in the small feast and instead he simply seemed interested in geting down to the point of things, evidently he'd gotten about as far with puzzling things out on his own as he considered possible and was not moving on to the interrogation. Della nodded whenever Anri mentioned something that was most definitely true, such as he claim to the name Delashano and gave him a friendly grin at his praise on how she'd dealt with the idiot though no verbal thanks came as she was far too preoccupied with the food as now that she'd gotten a taste for the various foods she had acquired individually Della had begun cutting the loaf of bread for use in assembling small sandwiches piled with foods chosen seemingly at random.
A small quirk of the eyebrow at the mention of her 'having a stroke' was the most response Anri received for that as Della wondered what exactly a 'stroke' entailed and how her coming to take control of her body was in any way like such a thing having no actual concept of what effects her battle with Jenn had produced on their body. "I have already answered your first question, I'm Delashano. You can call me Della though." She said adding a toothy smirk before taking another bite out of her sandwich causing what would likely be a frustratingly long pause between her responses "As for where Jenn is, well that is perhaps a bit more difficult, the simple way of putting it is that she, is up here." Della said wtih a shrug as she tapped her head in an effort to imply that Jenn was in her mind. "And as for you're last question I first have to make a clarification, one you will not make the mistake of referencing again. This is NOT Jenn's body. This is MY body." Della said her demeanor quickly shifting from carelessly amused to vicious in an instant, the assertion that this was not in fact her body was one Della took VERY seriously.
"I have existed for a very very long time Anri. Jenn only gave you a vague understanding that she was far older than her appearance would imply but that does not quite hammer the point in, I am older than this era's current calendar, old enough that I have a vague recollections of when this world's continents were arranged in different manner. I'm the part of the original personality that belonged to this body and Jenn is the one that took things over a few thousand years ago, it was not nearly as much of a 'hostile takeover' as my own but a takeover nonetheless. I came to be in control of this body again by force, I pulled the 'Jenn' half of out personality into out mind and fought her for control. As you can see I won. This is my body and I have a right to be in control of it." she said giving Anri a look that practically dared the Vennor to claim otherwise. "But I am in many respects still the person you know. I experienced albeit second hand everything that Jenn did, and I suppose technically speaking this is not the first time we've met. When we fought the line between myself and Jenn became a lot more blurred and it was more me in control than her for the most part." Della said with a smirk as she recounted the fight in her mind "I just want a chance to live. Before she took over we were more or less the same person and when she took over everything became 'her' all of the experiances felt second hand and fake."

Anri sought some relief that his search for answers was coming to a close, already he could feel some satisfaction that they would soon be complete though he had too admit the whole situation seem a little forced on his behalf, while the woman was more than accommodating to speak too him however it felt as though this was more of an interrogation than an actual conversation between two people. Even though the body was very similar too that of Jenn she...it, seemed a tad more playful than the Jenn ever was, even the way she craved over the food and the simple pleasures that it brought with every flavorful bite. Never before had he seen Jenn... or more of Della act in such a way when it came to eating food, more or less just going through the processes of absorbing the nutrients and then moving on once again. When Anri had broken the silence with his words he took notice that Della had made an assortment of slices of bread too make sandwiches out of, though he imagined it mattered little at the rate at which she was devouring everything that rested on the plate even now he could see the white base of the plates surface through small craters she had dug the food from, in no time flat the plate would be bare, making him wonder if she would even go back for more; the way she was carrying on about the substance though made it all the more likely that she indeed would.
Finally answering his questions Anri unfolded his arms and leaned in slightly pressing the palms of his hands onto the cool surface of the table, making a shiver run down his spine with the differences of temperature between himself and the coldness of the metal. Though she was answering what he had asked from her there was a hint of Jenn in the woman's words, even though she didn't seem to be herself anymore the way she talked she resembled very much of that of Jenn, a good note that she was not completely gone from this world and as Della continued to talk the fact became clear that Jenn was locked away in side of her head... wait? What did that even mean? How could someone be confined inside their own body and yet have no physical control of their own.... Thinking of her words Anri placed his hand over his chin at what she had told him, he had hear of something similar such as this but in such an extreme case he didn't really think it was all that possible, however he would hold off for now about thinking too much in depth about it, after all it was apparent that she was not done talking as she continued forth with the conversation even if Anri's mind had slipped from it. The sudden change in her demeanor was like a flash of light, from the playful tone she had been giving off from before, almost barking at him through the calm face she displayed too him but he could tell that she was serious about what she was saying. Anri wanted to comment on it as he usually did too mess with Jenn but the reminder that it was not the woman he had grown to know any longer; shifting his mind away from it, he could already tell that Della would not have taken such a joke as well as Jenn would have and during this time he was still drilling for questions... later though.
Continuing forth once more Della talked about her life stuck inside the body not being able to experience life for herself but as life looking through a small window that only provided a meek glimpse at what was there too offer for her. Though Anri thought Jenn very much a friend by this point in time he could also understand where it was that Della was coming from, not knowing just how long it was she was stuck inside that form of her only being able to do what it was that Jenn was doing... that might just driven him mad as well if he lived as an immortal like Della or Jenn, where Anri's people lived for half a century it still paled in compassion as too just how long that she lived for, it was barley a drop of water in the sea compared to herself. Della gave Anri a chance to say something but her eyes told him not to question her words but once again Anri was not here to question what she had to say, mining for information was the purpose of this conversation and nothing else. Keeping his mouth shut Della resumed once again as she went on talking though it was mostly just a sad story of watching her life pass before her eyes without actually getting to live it, but as long as she lived would it really have been an issue in the first place? It seemed as though both of them could have lived side by side peacefully if they sorted out their issues and after all it would have been the best of both worlds in this situation if both could life in harmony but by the tone that Della gave off as she explained her position all he could sense was discontent brewing inside her heart, hatred from years upon years of being chained to the confined in sides her own body.
Though her words did fill some blanks it really only brought more questions than actual answers as it usually did in this situations, piles of questions but only a limited number of answers that would fill the spots. After listening quietly Anri nodded his head slowly taking a long drag from the cigar his mind putting the mixed matched puzzle pieces together as they began to form a picture, but it was still a mess.
"Quite a story you have there, and by no means think I will judge your actions, at least verbally." He noted as his eyes glanced across the room at all the shinny pots and pans until his eyes wondered back too Della once more.
"I always had a feeling that Jenn was much older than she appeared to be, those that have lived as long as she does...you do, give off a certain aura about them its a hard one to describe but after meting enough people like her I know it when I sense it. And I can understand where you are coming from, I have never been stuck in such a situation before so I cannot fully grasp what it must have been like to be trapped inside one's own body but it must have been like hell to never be able too do what you wished, always having to be dragged around like a pet on leash going where ever it was that Jenn sought too. On that note you have my sympathy regardless of whether or not you want it." Anri noted as he stoked the dying embers of the cigar.
"It's good to know that you are not a complete stranger too myself, as it stood Jenn was the only person I could consider intelligent enough to hold a conversation on this rock of a world, it would have been very boring without someone who understands the finer mechanics of speech with another. By no means should anyone expect you too live your whole life in the passengers seat of another but I am curious as too why Jenn took over your form in the first place. As you said before you shared the body more or less, what changed that she sought the need to take over completely, one does not just wake up one day and decide on such an action." Anri spoke as he took notice of the partially filled cup, reaching forward over the table he took a hold of open wine bottle and filled the cup back up for her.

"The situation between us is... complicated, It's been so very long since it actually happened that accurately pulling up the memories of that time and those events is... hard.. and for a very long time even after the initial division my consciousness was not necessarily formed as it is now, I was a division but not one that was truly self aware. I took full form somewhere around the time where we fought another of our kind." Della said taking a moment to pause as she brought up old memories, these were far clearer than any other as they were closer to her first true memories as a conscious being, as well they were important memories both to herself and to Jenn. "He was a Efreeti named Ketsueki and he sought to do harm to the Earth, to tear it apart with the sole intention of drawing us to him. He kidnapped and posed in the form of a close friend of mine and when he finally revealed himself and out fight began he eventually threatened to kill Astos and Vitam." Dells said as her expression hardened as the memories washed over her, as much as the battle had been a thrill to experience the actual memories of why it had come to be were a source of great anger for her "Astos was like a brother to me, and Vitam... Vitam was for all intents and purposes my son. Jenn's fury boiled over at the threats and she called upon power hidden deep within herself but that power was what I was latched onto. Her triggering it seperated us completely and gave me my first glimpse of existance. I killed Ketsueki but unfortunately did not remain in control." Della said pouring herself a yet another glass of the wine she had pilfered from Kemuri's cellar between her own talking and Anri's she'd lost count at this point but the bottle was looking rather low.
"The truth of the matter is that Jenn did not 'take over' in the same way I did, we split and it was probably an equal chance between which of us would end up the dominant personality, or maybe her personality just fit the new way our life was heading better. Jenn's patient, personable, and loving. Me? I'm vicious, angry, and generally violent." Della said with a shrug as a her expression shifted to a look of annoyance, not one directed at Anri specifically however but rather seemingly over her own words and thoughts "I don't really expect you to fully understand it all, its something that I think can only really be understood by those who experience it and I'm not actually entirely sure if any other such people exist." Della said with a heavy sigh taking another sip from her glass before remaining silent for a few moments clearly thinking hard over something that she was not quite ready to voice.
The object of her thoughts was Jenn, Anri's questions required her to think hard on the situation and it was certainly not a pleasant one. "I don't know exactly what I'll end up doing with her. We have yet another aspect running around up here" Della said tapping the side of her head as she rolled her eyes "She's got no interest in running things though and isnt even quite the same as Jenn and I. Shes made up of old magic put into us by a powerful being we encountered a long long time ago, before we were even beginning to split. Its stupid and complicated but I've got her 'guarding' Jenn's mind for the time being, I doubt she'd be able to get to the point where she could pull me in and challenge me like I did for a long while but I do not want to take that risk... I figure eventually I'll need to figure something out with that... As much as I hate her she did not really do it on purpose so she probably does not deserve what I've been through even if she's an idiot." Della growled and with that she downed the rest of her glass and moved to proceed onto the next bottle, while her manner of speech lacked the usual slurring that accompanied one becoming quite drunk it would likely become increasingly clear that Della was likely giving as much as she was because of her increased rate of drinking. It had been a VERY long time since either Jenn or Della actually drank 'real' alcohol, what was produced by manifestation certainly could do the job and even get one drunk but it was still quite different than the real thing and likewise her imprisonment had given Jenn little reason to manifest such things.
"I just do not wanna go back.... I haven't even been out long and I like it already. I get to do everything for real and can actually talk to people and have them talk back, I do not have to be stuck up in there with just my shitty memories to keep me company and drive me nuts.... Being in your own head and seeing a memory is different than just remembering things, its like being there except your sort of vaguely aware that its not actually happening, so I spent like... I do not even remember how long probably a couple hundred years just replaying the good stuff and now they do not even really help anymore." Della said with a scowl as her hand tightened on her glass causing a crack to spread throughout it. "I have the other one keeping Jenn mostly 'asleep' until I figure out what to do, she'd probably end up doing the same shit because shes stupid." Della scowled again as she took a particularly violent bite out of one of her sandwiches. "I wanna see the stars, I wanna leave this place behind and let the stupid humans just continue ruining it as they have ever since I was trapped, let them fucking destroy it for all I care."

With Della in control of the flow of the conversation Anri leaned back and took in what she had to say, and there was loads of information that she wished to transfer too him, most would have thought it irritating to have to listen to someone else prattle on and on about their existence but not Anri, the way he saw the conversation; though one sided as it may have been, he had come here for answers of just what had happened and he was receiving them. There was little to no room for him to to get a word out edge wise anyway with the constant rhyme of her sad view point of her past. It was indeed a tale that would have brought some to tears or even a sense of sadness for Della but Anri felt no such things, unlike most others he did not fret on the past, it was as it was and no matter how much time was spent thinking of what could have been nothing would ever be changed. Countless times Anri had crossed paths with fates that wished he had not gotten up that morning but as quickly as they came on her let the drop were they may, he carried no extra cargo on his shoulders; worrying about the past was just less time he had to spend on work.
Just like everyone else, there were happy times and sad times which was proven by the other being that was of the same race as both Della and Jenn, but given that the two woman shared the same bodies it was a no brainier on that part. As she spoke more her words just offered up more questions than answers but it always went as such, though he was sure he could spend nights and days asking her of what exactly had become of Ketsueki and what had driven him to try and destroy others of his own race; power, lust, or just the pure sense of smiting others down that are your peers; he would in the end wind up with just more questions, in a never ending cycle till he dropped dead from age. Destroying the Earth was a great goal indeed but the true reason behind it might be a story that one might never know of. The man's use of trickery to deceive Della through a skill of which that he had seen Jenn use a number of times before in order to change her physical appearance too whatever she wished at that time, one might not think much of such a skill but in the right hands they would crumble the world with their own hands. Anri wondered with Della's ability to transform her body too pretty much anything she could think of, would she not have taken notice that someone else had changed their body as well? The alisn understood so little of the magical woman, her powers were unlike anything he had seen before and their nature was still a mystery as too just how she could pull the powers from out of no where; did it work similar to his own energy or was it on a completley different level of understand that he had not reached yet.
Every word that escaped Della's mouth sent him deeper into the hole of confusion about the background of the woman, growing darker and more mysterious after every passing minute, if alone her mystical powers weren't enough to arouse insight into her then the mind that both Della and Jenn shared was. Not only did he learn in the last few hours that Jenn had another person inside of her mind, but there was three in total counting Jenn, though Anri was familiar with multiple personalities and just what happened in the person's mind during those times this was a much more confusing situation. It was common of a person with such a condition to have different speech patterns and ways they lived their lives, even their taste in foods and music could change but the way Jenn switched from Della it seemed as though this was not indeed the same way. As few a few small tweaks in her brain had changed just enough about her to make her seem like another person, if Anri was viewing Jenn and Della side by side he would have thought them twins; similar looking but different minds... even though they were very similar... at least for the most part. Della even stated that the two people were different in their mind sets and actions, going as far as calling herself to some extreme case "generally violent"; Anri wanted to raise a point on her use of the word "generally" given what she had done to the human who had broken into the castle however after seeing just how many of the bottles of wine lay empty he thought it best not prod the idea any further. Over the converstaion she had been downing cup after cup of the dark liquid one after the other, he was surprised that she managed to stay wake from lack of breathing from her lips being pressed too the cup and her mouth constantly moving. Though Della had handled her liquor pretty well up of this point he could see the effects of the alcohol appearing though not in her words but in the movements of her hands as she spoke, more and more he saw her hands flinging off unnecessarily too the side with a sudden raise in her voice or to express something.
Too most the small pink blur in Jenn's cheeks would go unnoticed but Anri took up spotting it though he took no need in mentioning about it as there was no need to state her current drunken nature, she knew it just as well as he did and there would be little point of raising it up. As Della spoke up again for the first time he could hear a hint of sadness in her voice, even her eyes seemed to pool with the feeling but it was quick to burn up like a puddle in the sun, only to be replaced with anger, even the glass she held in her hand cracked with her rage alone.
As Anri thought over her words, her story in which she had shared to him he looked her over, not in the sense that he was checking her out but more of studying her; her face, her body, even the way her aura seemed to effect the mood of the room. With as different as the two of them looked, Della and Anri shared many things, though all of it rested in their minds, more so with Anri's since his brain was not shared with others, though it was heavily damaged.
"That is quite a story you have shared with me, I had no idea... you shared your body with others as you do, it must be a strain on yourself over all the years to be stuck, watching the world twirling around while all you could do was sit by idly." Anri paused as he gathered his words for a few seconds as he took a drag on the burning cigar.
"I... cannot relate truly relate too your past potion, but I know what its like to be without someone... or more of the past. In the a sense you were lucky that you can at least relive those moments of your life in which you found yourself most happy, they brought you back to a better time and place. I believe I mentioned to Jenn a while back about some brain trauma I received many years ago however I did not go fully in depth too it for my own personal reasons, but I feel now that I can explain it some what better. I was taken to a hospital after a near fatal accident, I do not of what took me out but it was enough to penetrate into my skull, receiving massive brain damage I really should not be standing here now. For one reason or another I was saved and a machine was implanted into my brain too keep be alive but there was a loss from all of this. My memories were shattered, my home, my family, even most of life before that point was gone, in a second everything turned into ash as wafted away from me. I have almost no memories too look back onto fondly. It's almost as though I'm sitting in a fog bank, I can see light shining through from the outside but I cannot ever reach it." Anri holds is arms out as if reaching for something that was never their to being with; narrowing his eyes he blew a ring of smoke out as he looked back over too Della.
"Even weeks after that day I found myself wandering about on an alien world, I guess the implant hadn't taken full effect and my memory was a lapsed time circuit seeming to repeat every few hours.... from what little I do remember of that time period, it was not a good one. I was captured, chained, and held down against my will, I was forced to fight and kill for others entertainment. I do not remember the faces of my...masters...." Anri spat as a flash of hate saying 'masters' but the rage quickly faded back into the mist, almost as though his past self had shown through for a second.
"...only the pain they inflicted on me daily is what I can really remember, even now the burns still line my skin feeling as fresh as they day they were bore into my flesh." Anri paused as his hand feel upon his arm, though his eyes looked over his arm there was no hint of sadness in his voice, just pure cold facts and pain.
"In that sense I can relate too you... I was a prisoner with no will but that of another, I am thankful I can't remember most of those years... though at this point I can't imagine I can become any more fucked up than I am now." His voice lighting as his words even letting a chuckle escape.
Anri's mind fell upon the last words that Della had spoken to him, those were interesting to him; she wanted to get away, to explore... maybe... maybe she would be interested in a proposition, a plan he had been working on for even more years that he could remember back too.
"Stars huh... well... I might be able to help you out there Della... I can show you the stars, even give you the chance to rule... if you so desire...." Anri let his words trail off to see if she was intrigued any in the idea.
