Azazel was walking through the demon ridden plains of HFIL, the images of human looking creatures her and her father found were rushing through her head. The frightened look on their faces imprinted themselves in Azazel’s mind. Death and destruction was an everyday occurrence for her in HFIL. This time was different, the look on their faces tugged on something in her. She had never felt this way before; she had killed thousands of demons. Something inside was tugging at her, bothering her. She hasn’t talked to her father about it; she hasn’t talked to him since that day. For weeks now she hasn’t spoken to him or to anyone. She hasn’t even spoken to her brother Samael or her sister Silitha. She thought no one had followed her, but she was wrong. She had found a rock to sit on during her walk. Quickly turning around she saw her youngest sister and brother climbing the rock she was on.
”Samael and Silitha what are you doing out here it is too dangerous for you. Go back home and stay there. I told the two of you I was going to return, I needed to get something done first.”
“Azazel you have been gone for weeks, father is looking for you, you must return home.” Samael said
“Yes sister you haven’t been teaching us like you are supposed to do. Please come home.” Silitha said getting to the top of the mountain and walking over to Azazel.
”I will train the two of you when I have returned, I will be coming back shortly. Samael go back and tell father that I will return when I am ready.”
Samael nods his head and begins making his trek down the rock, returning home to their father. Looking down to her younger sister a smile crosses her face. She picks up her sister; Silitha nuzzles her head into Azazel’s chest.
“Azazel why do you stay in this form, you should look like what you truly are.” Silitha said
”I stay in this form to remind you of what mother looked like. Silitha, I am not her but I was created in her image. I will remain like this unless I need to change, I prefer to look like this, it separates me from everyone else down here. Silitha you look human as well.”
“I know and I don’t like it, I want to look like the others, or even look like you. I will never go back to looking like this once I have the power to do so. Azazel can we please go home now?” Silitha said looking into her Azazel’s eyes.
”Fine Silitha we can return home.”
Azazel looks down at her sister, smiling she begins her journey back to their home as Silitha wanted. Hours later the two returned back to the castle they called home. A castle they took in one of the wars their father raged, the very same castle where Azazel’s mother was killed. When the two arrived no one was there, not Samael, not Father, and not their other brothers and sisters. Azazel thought about where everyone could be, and then it dawned on her.
She picked up her sister once again, leaving the castle. It only took a few minutes to find her father, he was at the portal site to enter the realm on the living. Her father turned around and motioned for the two of them to join the rest of their family in the circle. Immediately Silitha jumped from Azazel’s arms, running towards their father.
”Azazel are you going to join us or not?”
”You taking them to another planet father? Going to see what your children can do to unsuspecting innocent people?”
”I think it is time for them to try out their skills Azazel don’t you agree. So I am only going to ask once more are you going to join us or not? You call them innocent people, Azazel you still have much to learn.”
“Come on Azazel, please come with us!” Silitha said
”No father I am not going to come with you! We don’t need to go into the Realm of the living. Your wars are going to get this family killed! They are all going to die if they go there! They aren’t ready, trust me Father.”
“How can you say that Azazel, you have trained all of us, you taught us how to fight. Please Azazel come with us I want to show you something.” Silitha said
”You are not strong enough yet Silitha but you will be, going there is going to get you hurt. The others aren’t strong enough, father knows this. Silitha you can go with father if you want to, I am going to remain here. ”
“SILENCE!!” Her father screamed stepping out of the circle ”How dare you think I don’t know my own kin’s strength. Azazel do you think your training isn’t good enough? I will show you, Silitha get back here now we are leaving.”
Silitha turned to her father, slowly walking back to him. Once she was inside the circles of runes Azazel’s father activated the portal and they disappeared. Azazel shook her head, looking around to find a place to sit. She eventually gave up, she decided to sit down and wait for her family to return from whatever planet they are destroying now. Hours passed and her family still hadn’t returned, this began to worry her. Horrible thoughts began to fill her mind, the thought of her family in danger brought a sick feeling to her stomach. She quickly rose from the ground, beginning to pace back and forth.
Several more hours passed and still they have not returned, fear began to creep into her head. She wouldn’t forgive herself if they were gone. Mere seconds later her greatest fears were put to rest, there was a light that quickly came and went and now her family stood before her. Happiness washed over her, but quickly faded their faces weren’t the ones on joy. Her father didn’t even make eye contact, just passing by not saying a word. She didn’t really care about seeing him; she quickly began to look around for Silitha.
”SILITHA!!! Where are you! SILITHA!”
“Azazel she is over here!” Samael yelled from the distance
Azazel ran to Samael, and just like he said Silitha was curled up on the ground her face buried in her hands. She tried to get Silitha to stand up, but she refused, looking to Samael she needed to know what happened.
“Azazel it was horrible, father chose at first to let us attack the planet. Quickly we were outnumbered, two of our brothers died in the fighting. I tried to help Silitha but I wasn’t strong enough. The planet we landed on, their fighters were too much for us. We were beaten back, until father got into the fight that is when everything changed. The aliens were beaten back, but father wasn’t able to defeat all of them. Where ever we were they were prepared. So he left, it was horrid Azazel, you we weren’t strong enough.” Samael said his head hung in disappointment and shame
”Don’t worry Samael it wasn’t your fault I told father that before he left with you, but he didn’t listen. Now go, go back inside and wait for me there, I am going to check on Silitha.”
Samael nodded his head and walked away from Silitha and Azazel. Azazel slowly approached Silitha, once coming within reach Silitha backed away. She was still cowering away from Azazel, something happened to her on the planet. Azazel tried once again to grab onto Silitha, but she continued to scurry away. Eventually Azazel did get a hold of Silitha, but she refused to show her face to Azazel. With a few words Silitha slowly revealed her face to her older sister. That’s when she saw it, her beloved younger sister was gashed. A cut ran across her face, from left to right in a diagonal slice. Tears were running down Silitha’s face, she had known she failed.
“Azazel I wasn’t strong enough I should have listened to you. Like Samael said we weren’t prepared, we need more training. I am sorry Azazel” Silitha said burying her head into Azazel’s chest
Azazel says nothing to her sister. Instead she rises to her feet still holding onto Silitha. Slowly she walks across the plain, back to her home. Her father had gone too far this time, he should have heeded her words. The family wasn’t ready to fight, she knew this, he knew this, and she needed answers. Slowly making her way through her home, passing her brothers and sisters. Some try to stop her, but their words are ignored. She was going to confront her father, he needed to know his wrongs. Entering her father’s chambers, she is at first ignored. Her words fall on deaf ears, her father pays no mind.
”FATHER ANSWER ME! I TOLD YOU NONE OF THEM WERTE READY TO FIGHT! NONE OF THEM NEEDED TO GO AND YOU KNOW THIS. ANSWER ME!”
Azazel’s rage begins to take over, her body begins to change, she released Silitha who ran to one corner of the room. An armored layer appeared over her skin, two tails grew out of her lower back. Bladed wings grew from her back, white her horns grew out. Her hands and feet now contained razor sharp claws. She had entered her Makaioshin form, something that takes great power and endurance to achieve. She had finally gotten her father’s attention.
”What do you expect to achieve here daughter? You know what I am going to have to do if you go through with this?”
” I know what is going to be done. You are going to pay for what you did to my brothers and sisters Father. You were a fool to not listen to me.”[/b]
With that Azazel lifted off of the ground, charging at her father. Her father just smiled as he drew his blade, turning it sideways and with a single swipe from left to right slamming it into Azazel. She was sent flying into the wall, creating a crater where she hit. Slowly she peeled off of the wall, falling to the ground. Her body writhing in pain, her father gave her no time to rest. His hand reaching out, grabbing a hold of her. He brought his hand back, whipping it forward releasing Azazel. She once again flew through the air smashing through the doors to her father’s chamber. Slamming through the doors she stumbled across the ground, eventually slamming into a pillar.
“AZAZEL!” Silitha screamed emerging from the smashed open doors, running over to Azazel “Please you have to stop this, Father is stronger than you. You can’t beat him please stop!” Silitha said
”Silitha get out of here now, this isn’t your concern. Leave me now I am going to end this.”
Azazel slowly got back to her feet but it was too late, her father was already upon her. Grabbing her once again he throws her out of the demonic castle. This time she bounces for several yards, eventually skidding to a halt. She tried to get back to her feet but felt a hand grab onto her. Her father began to fly in the air, across the Plains of HFIL. Soon he stopped tossing Azazel on the ground, her body bounced a few times, soon coming to a halt.
”Are you done with your little show Azazel? You aren’t strong enough to defeat me; this is going to prove nothing. I have had enough of your insolence, you brought this upon yourself.” Her father said as energy began building up in his hand.
The purple energy began to swirl in a circular motion in the palm of her father’s hand. Azazel’s eyes went wide; she had seen this move before. The one used to drain the power of the demon lord that killed her mother. Azazel knew her fate; she knew what was going to come next, she knew there was nothing to stop it. Her father shot the purple swirling energy at Azazel. The energy wrapped around Azazel, she could feel her power being drained from her. She dropped to a knee, trying to resist it, but it was useless. Quickly losing the strength to maintain her Makaioshin form, returning to looking like a human female. Her body grew weak, she slumped to the ground. Lying on her stomach, she looks up to see Silitha starring at her, Silitha began to slowly walk forward.
”Silitha stay there, don’t come near me, I am going to be fine. Samael grab her.”
Samael quickly grabbed a hold of Silitha, quickly she began to squirm in his arms, but his grip was tight. Silitha was unable to go to the aid of her sister, all she could do was watch as their father punished her. Their father pointed his sword at Azazel, soon after a bolt of purple lightning shot out, crashing into Azazel. Her The bolt made her body seize, the pain was excruciating, her vision began to blur and her hearing began to fade. Azazel’s father was talking but his words couldn’t be heard, he shot another bolt at her. Bolt after bolt slammed into Azazel, each one worse than the last.
The only thing she could hear was Silitha’s screams, she wanted this to end, but there seemed to be no end in sight. Finally her father stopped the torcher, he had enough, he had proved his point. Her father began to mutter some demonic words under his breath. Soon the ground under Azazel began to glow, quickly realizing where she had landed she tried to move. Her body wouldn’t let her, her father had broken her and now he was finally going to get rid of her.
“FATHER YOU CAN’T DO THIS, PLEASE FATHER DON’T MAKE AZAZEL LEAVE! SHE WON’T DO IT AGAIN I PROMISE. PLEASE FATHER!!” Silitha screamed
”You sister has already decided her fate; she knew what she was getting into. Silitha, you and everyone knows what happens when you try to attack me. I don’t want to do this, but it has to be done.” Father says as he once again begins muttering demonic words.
”Silitha don’t listen to him I will come back for you, for Samael, for all of you! I will return, you need to keep training. All of you need to live, don’t make the same mistake I did.”
With that her body finally gave up on her, she needed to rest. Her vision slowly started to fade, the last thing she could see was Silitha reaching out to her. Azazel could barely pick her hand up, stretching it out at Silitha. The last thing she heard was Silitha’s screams, as everything went dark, her body went limp. Her Father had finished talking and the symbols activated on the ground, causing Azazel’s body disappear, she was now sent to the Realm of the Living. What felt like hours passed out, was only a couple of minutes at most. One of her eyes slowly opened up, she was lying on blue grass. Where had her father sent her? That was the only question running through her mind. Her eyes closed again.
”Samael and Silitha what are you doing out here it is too dangerous for you. Go back home and stay there. I told the two of you I was going to return, I needed to get something done first.”
“Azazel you have been gone for weeks, father is looking for you, you must return home.” Samael said
