The goal had been to infuriate the monster into getting closer. Perhaps if he were to move in, and close the distance, it would be easier to strike at the trigger that was still lingering at his pocket line. His words had sounded arrogant, even for Saito. The fact that he hadn’t said a full sentence to Kemuri’s face should have been an indicator to the man that it was a lure, and perhaps it had. Either way Kemuri would indulge him in the torture he desired. It would take no time at all for the demon Kemuri to respond, his foot taking a sharp step forward directly into Saito’s face. His heel making stern contact with his nose. The sudden instant pain didn’t cause the man to scream out, especially once his head hit the tile below him. Though Kemuri hadn’t intended it to knock him out, it nearly had. For several moments the man didn’t even draw breath. It had knocked the wind out of him, and for a split second he was entirely unconscious.
This wouldn’t last long, as the sudden pressure in his chest would awaken him. Again he would not scream, if anything it was due to the position of the dog’s knee. It had landed just above the lungs in a manner so profoundly uncomfortable that breathing at all was difficult, let alone screaming. He had declared that the man would scream before it was all over. That he would beg for death. As his right claw struck into Kit’s left shoulder the concept of this became very real. His eyes bulged outward, seemingly out of his head. Truly, Saito had never before felt such a true pain. Each of Kemuri’s claws had finally penetrated his skin. Their entire combat had been a dance of Kit fighting desperately to avoid their sting, and Kemuri toying with the idea of slicing flesh and separating muscle from bone. He had finally done it. He had completely shot through the shoulder blade and scapula and into the hard marble below. His breathing quickened instantly as the skin on his face stretched in an inconceivable pain. He couldn’t conceal his reaction, and yet he still didn’t scream.
Finally the beasts hand descended, and Saito heard his declaration…The last thing he would ever see…In the realm of pain he was in it took him a moment to realize what was about to happen, and even as he began to comprehend he still didn’t fully register the idea. Truly Saito had never fought in a battle where so much blood had been shed. In his realm of combat when blood began to fall the battle was over. Kemuri however seemed to only be inspired further by its presence. Thankfully the Kit didn’t have the time to cycle through the psychological ramifications. Truly mental anguish would have only added to the difficulty of what was already about to happen. Kemuri’s hand moved so quickly Saito didn’t even realize it had even moved from his original resting position. Even as the thumb penetrated deep into his skull he couldn’t feel it. His adrenaline had kicked in and was fighting terribly with the nerves in his body, a fight it would lose after two solid seconds of the gruesome act. Finally Saito would do something he had most literally never done before in his life…Scream.
“Gyaaaaah”
It was a long noise, higher than Kit had ever registered before. His eye had only felt minor irritation before and frankly the warrior had never thought to imagine the pain of someone’s finger in his eye socket. His limbs that were not help down gripped at the ground, his right hand finding the nearby debris and gripping it in a futile attempt to squeeze out the agony. His knee bent, though only slightly as the pain from Kemuri’s still well placed sword added to the anguish. Kemuri knew how much this hurt them man, even before he had screamed out. He must have, as he made a point to keep his thumb in the socket longer than it was necessary to blind the warrior. His throat burned, and yet his broken screaming continued. Though before the bastard could remove his thumb from the socket of his enemy, Kit remembered his purpose. He remembered what he had challenged the beast for to begin with. Truly Kemuri had not been lying when he said he would torment the boy as long as he saw fit, and he proved this further by sliding his callous thumb nail down his cheek and through to his mouth.
It was in that moment that Kit opened his remaining eye. It would be Kemuri’s only warning, and only if the dog was not impaired like most dogs were. His eye had changed colors from the light blue they always were, to the gold of his hair. Granted most mutts were not equipped to see color it was more than possible that Kemuri was, in which case it would be the only warning of his next action. It would all happen as quickly as Saito could make it happen, his fist –not currently being clamped to the ground due to the hole in his shoulder- would rise up for a punch, but not just any common futile strike. This was the righteous fist. It was Kit’s very first attack, and the signature he had used time and again in other fights. But not this one.
He recalled the first time he had used it. The victory it had brought him against his father. The feelings of pride and exhilaration. He remembered standing up for Jen and her brothers and sisters against the gang that had terrorized their family, his righteous fist being the deciding factor that brought long awaited justice too her. The righteous fist had broken through the floor of the crane school and led him to the spirit of their master. It had done the most damage to Anri out of any he had thrown at the alien, and finally it had been one of the attacks to bring down Brandon in their spar. It was without a doubt his most important technique not because of its actual damage, but because of its purpose. The fist represented the constant battle against injustice. It represented Kit’s growth as a warrior, and now it would be his final attack in the drawn out combat the two had taken part in on the lookout.
His reasoning was that the spirit gun would not only be too difficult to form, but also impossible to aim with a missing eye. His righteous fist however was on target. With Kemuri’s arms both preoccupied it was Saito’s only chance to destroy the trigger. He was literally inches from it, and his right arm had been entirely untouched. The rest of his body was in tatters. His right leg still cramping from his Ki dash, his left stuck to the ground by the bastard’s sword, his left arm numb and immoveable from the hound’s impalement of his shoulder. His face too had now been all but rendered useless, for whatever worth it had been to him before. His left eye was undoubtedly destroyed, and his right provided a clear determination. This is what Kemuri would see, even if he couldn’t register the change to gold, he could see the unrelenting force that kept Saito from any form of surrender. As his fist made contact –With whatever it would hit- Saito’s scream of agony would become a yell of fury. All of the words Kemuri had spoken had bottled up into this final attack. His callous words about the value of human life. His utter arrogance, and of course his threats against his father and mother had all culminated into his glowing fist. His yell was the final catalyst necessary to release the remained of his energy. All of the power he had left reserved in his body lashed out into this one strike. Even without making contact the heat from his attack was undeniable, it was possible that everything within an inch of the skin would burn away. Though Kemuri had powered up to a point that even Saito’s best was no more than a minor annoyance, his trigger was not so naturally tough.
His final heroic act would be his last for the fight. He had most literally thrown all of his energy into the final strike. His body was weak both spiritually, and physically as his adrenaline finally put a very heavy sleep on his mind. Perhaps it was the undeniable head trauma he had suffered in the match, or maybe sheer exhaustion from blood loss and pain. But the man had reached his limit. His body was closer to death than it had ever been before and he hadn’t the energy to do anymore. His right hand, which had held its ground for the attack fell, his eye not only turning back to the blue color, but rolling back and closing tightly. His head turned to the right as it fell back into the crater that had been created by the kicks impact. The blood from his eye and face rolled down his lip and dripped off the right side of his chin into the marble.
His mind thought one last thing before darkness.
Give me a minute…
He of course was thinking aloud for Kaladar whom had been in communication with him the entire time. Of all the things he could have thought, the only legitimate feeling left was…I’m not done yet. This was false however as his mind became a blank slate. He was asleep, and would very possibly die without some form of medical treatment. For that matter if the trigger hadn’t been destroyed, or if Kaladar was not quick in helping him, the demon atop his chest would likely lash out for a finishing blow. His fate rested entirely with warriors he had never once met before. Then again their fate had rested with him.
And he had not disappointed their expectations.

It felt GOOD to have all of her power at her fingertips once again, it had not taken long after the takeover for Della to reign in her power again but in doing so she had also allowed the bracers to put a lock on that power, try as she might it had been quite difficult to push past that barrier and release her full power again and this had been no different, perhaps the only reason she had accomplished it was because Della knew full well she wanted all of her power available when going into this. She could feel energy signatures surging and falling as she climbed higher and higher, eventually she could see everyone again and her gaze was cast onto Kemuri as he fought the human boy the one who along with the pink haired girl appeared to know Anri well. As she watched Della found herself surprised and impressed as the boy launched a blast that tore through Kemuri doing significant damage to the dog, enough that he lost his cool entirely.
Were it not for how badly the boy was being beaten by Kemuri for what he had done it almost would have been amusing just how much he had managed to throw the dog man off with that attack, Kemuri's power skyrocketed shortly after the attack which proved that the reason the boy had even managed to do as he had was because Kemuri had not been taking him seriously and because of the dogs eternal shortsightedness he paid the price. Unfortunately now the boy was also paying a price, and that was the price of doing well against someone vastly more powerful than himself. What finally broke Della's impassive expression was when Kemuri began shouting to her, proclaiming his final wish for all to hear as he clutched at her ring. His wish was NOT for her to kill the boy, it did not even begin with striking down any of the warriors present who were fighting against him, instead he was demanding that she kill ANRI of all people assuming that Azazel's attack did not already do the job.
She could feel Anri's power quickly fading along with the power behind Azazel's attack and at a rate which did not paint a particularly good picture for her friend a small frown passed over Della's face as she glanced at where Azazel and Anri had been fighting, she could not quite say she specifically blamed the other woman for her actions, they were necessary as Anri would have certainly done the same to her if given the opportunity, turning back to Kemuri Della began to float down to the Lookout landing without a sound as the Hyena completed his wish and went about his next attack on the boy clearly expecting everything he had wished to go exactly has he expected it to. It was not particularly surprising to see the hyena not expecting things to go awry even after he had just faced multiple rather major setbacks. First Anri's loss to Azazel followed by the boys successful attack on him.
He expected her to be his ace in the hole, the one who would fix all of his problems. Kemuri's vision was that she would kill Azazel while he dealt with the boy and then the rest would be child's play to deal with, none of them were exerting power anywhere near what would be needed to defeat him and presumably he still had Kaladar under his 'control' but of course the hyena was a fool and that was NOT how things would be going down. The boy was practically goading Kemuri into tearing him apart and Kemuri obliged quite readily but Della could feel something was off and her lips quirked into a small smirk as the boy's power flared and he took a swing at Kemuri what exactly he intended to accomplish Della did not know but she could certainly respect the determination. "So now you like Humans again?" the voice of Jenn questioned followed by a small chuckle.
Della rolled her eyes at her counterpart's words and chose to remain silent, certainly humans were not quite off her list of dislikes but already as Jenn knew she could respect individuals and actions if not a whole species. "Kemuri... Kemuri will your idiocy never cease to amaze me. I have to say in terms of actually accomplishing anything with wishes I do believe you rank fairly low overall. Your first wish should have been your second, and as far as you know your third should not even be necessary." Della explained with an amused laugh "Thankfully it doesn't much matter what your third wish is because I have no intention of granting it. You are blissfully ignorant of really ANY of my powers because you were to much of a fool to order Jenn to explain what she was capable of. I suppose that's your short sightedness coming into play again, much like pitting Anri against Azazel and myself against Popo."
"Now if you HAD required Jenn to explain her powers to you then you would know that we can shape shift, but one of the unfortunate restrictions on our ability to do so is that while it does not limit our overall power while shifted we cannot grant wishes while not in the form of a proper genie, currently I am a human and thus incapable of granting your wish no matter how loud you shout it. Now while normally your second wish would do a excellent job of counteracting this by allowing you to command Jenn to transform into a Genie this is also not going to happen, because I am not beholden to your wish. Jenn is of course unfortunately bound to your will by that wish but I am not and while we have come to an agreement of sorts we are not one yet. Which leaves you in the rather awkward position of having a VERY angry genie on your bad side." Della said as a vicious smirk spread across her face "On top of that you have a very angry demoness looking to end your life as well and if I'm reading your power I do believe you are as they say in this time 'fucked'. I will be allowing Azazel the opportunity to destroy you as I did tell Popo that if he surrendered that I would do so. If she's smart she'll be over here shortly considering you are the larger threat so hold tight for just a few more moments. As well if you try anything be it escape or attack, I'll expedite things a bit and start breaking bones, probably your ribs to start. " Della said with a smirk she took up a mostly casual stance watching Kemuri for his likely rather amusing reaction and more importantly for any signs of attempting to escape the Lookout or attack the boy, any attempt to attack or escape would met with swift action as Della would take a step and place herself directly in Kemuri's path blocking any attempts from the dog to accomplish anything of note.

Kaladar could still do nothing but watch the fight take place. After Kemuri took the full force of Saito’s shotgun technique the device was visible. Kaladar didn’t need to communicate with Saito he had faith the male could figure out what it was. He needed that device to be broken if he was going to help Saito. That is when Kemuri started to get angry and slam Saito’s head into the Lookout dragging him across the marble flooring. Kaladar’s fist clenched tighter as he watched the poor boy get beaten. His face smashed into the floor, a sword piercing his knee ultimately pinning him into the ground.
Kaladar didn’t know what was going to happen next, but it seemed that this was going to be the last time he was going to see the male alive. Then something horrible happened. Kaladar watched as Kemuri shoved one his claws into Saitos eye. The boy made a noise that Kaladar was never going to forget. He saw the smile on Kemuri’s face. The hyena man was clearly enjoying the suffering he was causing to Saito. Kaladar wanted nothing more than to smack that smug smile. Luckily for him his wish would be granted.
Kaladar saw Saito’s right hand turn to gold, it didn’t seem like Kemuri had noticed it yet. The boys screams of pain quickly turned into a yell of fury. Kaladar watched intently as Saito threw his fist directly for the Trigger. Soon after the attack Saito would fall unconscious, telling Kaladar to give him a moment. Little did he know, he had freed Kaladar and the king from their prison. Bringing both hands up, he wrapped them around the collar. He knew there was only one way to test to see. He knew immediately that Saito had saved him. Entering his True Power state Kaladar ripped the collar from his neck with ease. His eyes immediately fell upon Kemuri as he was still standing near Saito.
Kaladar did however sense the armored women make her way back to the Lookout. She had killed Popo, his long time friend. Kaladar tried to sense for Popo, but he got nothing. She began to speak about, but Kaladar was not interested in listening. He had been sitting on the sidelines for far too long. Watching people fight, watching some die. This was going to end now.
Letting his aura flare, Kaladar shoot off the ground, causing the marble flooring to shatter underneath him. HE ran across the Lookout with great speed, headed straight for Kemuri. Kaladar would run right past Saito hoping to slam his shoulder directly into Kemuri’s side. If successful Kemuri would be sent flying backwards through the air, more than likely bouncing across the floor. At this moment he would bring up his left arm, extend his index finger and fire a Dodon Ray straight for Kemuri. Granted if the shoulder slam his successfully. If how ever Kemuri managed to side step Kaladar, then he would prepare himself for the inevitable counter attack and their fight would begin.
(Permission granted from Kemuri allowing Saito to destroy the Device)

Blood burst from his shoulder as the Kage let his hand dive through the bone, tender ligaments and onto the other side. The boy was strong at this he did not scream out in pain but that could have been chalked up to the fact that he did not pull enough power from his kick and had dazed the boy enough to take the edge off. As his words rang out the boy’s eyes were filed with fear for just long enough for the sadistic ruler of Earth to enjoy it. Then came the brutal and fateful moment as his thumb dove far into the boy’s skull. This time though he couldn’t hold his tongue and began to scream bloody murder. His body convulsed and writhed in pain as it desperately to escape. Thanks to Kemuri’s position and the well placed sword the boy was going to have to endure the suffering as long as he so choosed. His thumb cut deep down his cheek as something occurred that caused Kemuri to hesitate for a split second. The boy’s screaming turned to yelling and with his free hand a fist smashed into the exposed device that hung at his waist.
The small remote burst into hundreds of pieces as his head fell backwards and the boy drifted from the conscious world. However as his fist moved backwards from the recoil Kemuri’s hand would snatch it out of the air. In frustration he would sink his claws into the underside of his wrist in an effort to sever any tendons that may have controlled the hand. “Stupid little pup,” Kemuri hissed as he pulled his hand free from his shoulder leaving him lying on the tiled Lookout to bleed out and face his fate. And it was in that moment that he heard Della spouting off about how he was incompetent and wasted all of his wished. His eyes flashed with indifference as there were multiple ways to deal with someone then over power them. For example she was going to have to deal with not only the raging bitch that had murder his soldier of fortune but she would have to deal with the man that had been freed that was not here, Burradori. No doubt he would arrive soon and Kemuri highly doubted that she would be able to handle both at the same time. In that moment Kemuri would be able to make his escape and regroup elsewhere, perhaps it was time to council a new young ruler with great potential on the moon.
Before he could respond however he heard a whooshing of air as new fighter entered the battle. While new to this particular fight he was far from new to the Kage, the two had known each other a very long time now. Kaladar slammed his shoulder into Kemuri sending him through the air onto the Lookout, as he fired a Dodon Ray. The blast was only slowed enough to where it would not kill the hyena as he returned fire with his own beam. He never had any expectations of it being successful in an effort to block it however it was enough to slow it down. The Dodon ray punched through the beam before slamming into Kemuri’s arm blocked body. As the smoke began to clear Kemuri could not help but cackle a little.
“After all of these Kaladar…of watching you weaken Burradori with your soft advice…I finally get to tear your throat out.” The hyena cackled as he began to gather energy in his hand. If he wanted to fight then Kemuri would be more than happy to oblige him.

Azazel was looking around the lookout, trying to decide who to go after first. She could finish off Kemuri or go see what exactly Carla and the others are doing. Another option was fighting the women in armor who had landed near Kami and Kemuri. Since trying to sense Popo before and failed, she assumed that the women had killed him and was now going to attack Kami. At first glance that didn’t look like the case, she looked like she was talking to Kemuri. Azazel of course was too far away to hear anything, but she needed to decide on something soon.
“So Azazel what are you going to do? My suggestion is that you finish Kemuri and end this whole debacle. Once he is dead we can go to your sister.” Lennalth said
“I haven’t yet decided what I am going to do Lennalth, both the women and Kemuri need to be dealt with. Kemuri for causing this entire mess in the first place and the women for taking popos life. Either way by the time this is over those two will be joining their friend Anri. It doesn’t really matter which order as long as both are dead.” Azazel said with a smile
“That may be true, but killing Kemuri should cause that women to stop fighting and then this whole mess is done with. She may have taken Popos life, but you didn’t really know him that well. So really his life means nothing to you.” Lennalth explained
“You still don’t understand Lennalth. You could say the same thing about Anri, but I killed him anyways. They choose to side with Kemuri. So I am going to make sure that they die alongside him as well.” Azazel said as she began to make her way over to the women and Kemuri
Coming to a stop, she looks at Kami. His power skyrocketed to a level that felt familiar to her. The collar was now lying on the ground in two pieces. Kami was returned to his normal power. Moving her gaze to Kemuri, she sees Saito lying on the ground bleeding from many different places. Had he done what they could not? Was he able to find the device that was keeping the king and Kami prisoners? It would seem like he had. Smirking, her decision became crystal clear and she witnessed Kami dart through the air at Kemuri. So the only person left alone was the armored women.
“I see you have made your choice then haven’t you?” Lennalth said
“It seems that Saito and Kami have made my decision for me Lennalth. Time to get revenge for Popo. Time to see how long this women can actually last. ”
Azazel’s arua flared, more marble tiles broke underneath her feet as she rocketed off the ground. Shooting through the air, her target was the armored women. Traveling as fast as she could Azazel would attempt to spear the women away from everyone else. If the women moved out of the way Azazel would just fly right by her, eventually coming to a stop. Upon stopping, she would turn to face the women. Her intentions should seem clear, but Azazel was more than happy to try to get her attention again if the blatant attack wasn’t enough.

Della raised an eyebrow as she felt a surge of power nearby, the source was familiar at first but the amount of power being put out was far and away from what she had gotten used to detecting, a brief glance confirmed who it was that the power belonged to and she raised an impressed eyebrow. It was of course none other than the Earths Guardian, Kaladar. For a human his power was tremendous far greater than she had ever felt from any individual human with the runner up being the boy who was perhaps coming rather close to giving his life in order to set Kaladar free. It had been the boys actions that seemed to have caused Kaladars freedom as it had only been after he had destroyed some strange piece of technology poking out of Kemuri's shirt that Kaladar was able to set himself free. Della smirked at the notion that it had been someone so much weaker than Kemuri that was responsible for the loss of the only bargaining chip he had left.
Before that Kemuri could have perhaps made an attempt to bargain for his life using whatever device controlled the collars on Kaladar and the now also free King of Earth. But without that Kemuri's demise was all but confirmed, if the King was anywhere even close to Kaladar's level of power and capable of reading energy signatures he would likely be on his way to join the battle as well though if things went as Della intended them to his presence and power would be unnecessary as Azazel alone was more than enough to destroy Kemuri. As Della's thoughts returned to the demoness she felt another surge of energy as the very same woman she had been thinking of began powering up once again after having relaxed somewhat after Anri was defeated.
Turning to take a look at Azazel Della could see that there was evidently a rather large wrench being thrown into her plan, Azazel was evidently NOT on the list of people Popo considered capable of keeping quiet as she was presently making a beeline for her Della decided it best to wait it out make sure that Azazel was not perhaps just VERY eager to get over here, she held her stance as the other woman rocketed at her and when it became obvious that the demoness had no intention of stopping Della took a step forward and with that step she would rush forward as a surge of energy into her legs allowed her to move far faster than normally possible.
With a signifigant lack of genie in the general area of where Azael was attacking the demoness would fly right through the empty air, Della knew it was unlikely that Azael only planned to make a single attack which meant she needed to act quickly her shunpo would end right next to the human boy who was perhaps in the most danger of all of them, nearly if not completely unconcious he was not able to actively defend himself which was certainly not ideal with Kemuri and Kaladar facing off with each other so near to where he lay. "We should help him, he gave everything he had to protect the Earth and-" "Quiet, I know." Della said in a hushed voice as she scooped the boy up in one arm.
Della could feel Azazel's energy signature halting not even particularly far past where she had been moments ago turning to look at the woman Della saw the look on her face and it told her everything she needed to know, Azazel wanted a fight NOW, not after Kemuri was defeated, NOW. It was certainly rather frustrating that the demoness was not interested in dealing with the true threat but of course it did make a level of sense, as far as she knew she was avenging Popo's death. Digging a hand into the boy's vest Della scowled in frustration, the boy certainly seemed like the likely sort to be a student of the Guardian and if that was the case then perhaps he would be in possession of..
Grinning to herself Della pulled a small bag out of the vest and dumped the contents of it into her palm keeping a careful eye on Azazel as she did so in case it became necessary for her to shunpo away from another attack "You'll get what you want in a moment, unlike some people I have my priorities in order" Della said with a roll of the eyes as she took a small dig at Azazel, the bag yielded just what she expected two familiar looking beans, a species that existed just around the Lookout. While they were infuriatingly difficult to grow the beans were truly a marvel considering what they could do. Della would pull away from the fight dashing closer to one of the trees near the temple. Laying the boy down Della would crush the bean and drop the crushed bits of it into the boys mouth, she had no real time to actually feed him the bean with the impending danger of Azazel attacking but the crushed bits would be small enough that they would not cause choking while still providing the much needed healing. With that dealt with Della was confident the boy would survive, perhaps even regain enough strength to awaken and hopefully NOT re enter the battle.
What he chose to do was of course up to him, she would have no way of stopping him if he chose to return to the battle, Della knew she would personally be far too busy dealing with her own battle. "Now with that finished I suppose I have no reason not to accept your challenge. It's good to see you have such confidence in Kaladar that you would take a risk of allowing Kemuri a chance to fight him one on one. I had planned to do this after Kemuri was dealt with but since you give me no other choice I suppose I'll be moving my timeline up a bit. Lets get this done with, you're the only one who I can really test myself against and lucky me you've given me more than enough reason to cut loose, the only question that remains is if we do this here, or somewhere else."

Floating, that is what death feels like. His body was so numb that he could hardly feel it anymore. The pain, it was gone. His vision, also revoked from his mind. All he saw was darkness, and all he felt was a sensation of water, as though he were physically sinking into it. Though his body remained in the same spot, it appeared as though the ground beneath him had all but disappeared. The blackness had consumed him. His mouth lay cocked, his remaining eye transfixed on the sky. Though it too had become a darkened gray. The entirety of his existence seemed to no longer participate in the physical realm that Kemuri and Kaladar had been in. His last thoughts were of his fist, blinding impacting the dogs stomach. His pocket tearing apart, and the trigger within exploding into so many pieces that recreation was undoubtedly impossible. He had done it. So why did he feel so empty.
“You just had to be the hero. You are a lot dumber than I thought you were.”
Sekai. The man had known him for but a day and yet the bond they shared was unforgettable. He was still taller, and even with Kit’s enhanced strength something about him just felt stronger. Stronger than Saito especially. He peered over to his left, and then looked back down at Saito, who continued to stare blankly into the distance. His body couldn’t move, it was truly frozen. For all Kit knew he was dead. Though Sekai seemed to think otherwise, walking around the side of the man so that his own body was standing just over his head. Crouching down he looked into the face of his former student.
“You’re going to need an eyepatch. No one will look at that ugly mug”
“My…leg hurts Sekai”
“Well it bloody ought to, you have a damn sword sticking through it. At least the beast moved after he was done with you, he left his damn property.”
Kit had choked out the words, though not through his mouth. His words echoed as a thought in his mind, and although he had not spoken them, Sekai had heard them. His lofty figure shifting back over towards Kit’s leg, grabbing hold of the sword and tugging it a bit before giving up. It was clear the man had no actual power in whatever realm it was they were in. Though hearing his voice was calming. He wondered though why he was here. The old Crane prodigy would answer him swiftly.
“I know what your thinking, ghost from the past. And its exactly what you fear. Saito you are about to die. Not everyone gets an escort though. Yemma is pretty pleased with the both of us. Dying a heroes death gives you some…credit in the after life”
What? Death? No. Though his body was still numb. He couldn’t feel anything except the occasional sting of the sword left in his leg, though even that began to fade. He truly was about to pass. The thoughts that reached his mind first were not of Kemuri, or any care he had for the creature hatred or otherwise, but rather the disappointment he had for himself. He had become greedy and his life was the price. Had he only stayed and practiced the new ways, he could have lived, and grown. Though, what of Kemuri then? What of Kaladar? No, they really were none of his concern. He had been forced into this and…no, that too was a lie. He could have left. After Kaladar was unavailable to train, after Popo warned him of the danger that befouled them. Yet he stayed, it was his blasted…
“Ego. Yeah, your ego is right Kit. No you don’t think you are the strongest, but damn if you won’t try to be. You could never turn down a challenge huh? And worse yet you got the worst of it. The demon girl killed her target, Popo was lucky enough to fight the traitor demon, and the idiot child that Kaladar taught the Dodon to is wasting it on an ally. Go figure huh, what a waste…Incoming”
Sekai jumped back and suddenly the sensation of sinking faded, and the grey turned to blue, Saito was moving. He wanted to tilt his head to view his savior, yet he found it impossible still he was too weak. Yet as his body flew he felt the sensation of life forming back within him. No, he wasn’t dead, as a matter of fact he wasn’t even close. His head twitched, his eye darting from side to side looking for Sekai. He had vanished. All of his words, his prodding. He had been right after all. Saito wanted too badly to play the hero. What about the dojo, what about his family…What about Ethan? He had been so selfish, and the more he thought about it the clearer things became. The blackness began to reform into the destroyed lookout, and the grey sky became a deep blue, the one he had been looking at all along. He had been set down again, this time a few yards away from the other combats. All of the pains he had once felt had faded from him. He first looked down to his shoulder, which he found would forever be marked with a cursed rounded scar, as though a circle had impaled him leaving the mark. His wrist too seemed scarred, many sealed cuts wrapping around the underside of his arm. Kemuri’s work no doubt. His eye had stopped stinging, something Saito was most thankful for, though it was still blinded, and worse yet upon inspection appeared to be gone entirely. What the bean could not heal it simply removed. Finally his knee…still stung. It was the sword. From his laying position he reached out, grabbing the handle of the blade and pulling quickly, wincing at the pain, and marveling with how quickly the bean sealed the wound. Leaving only the tiniest scar in memory.
He was alive.
Using one hand for support he rose to his feet. Though the bean had healed him physically. His body was now shaking. Fear. Yes Kemuri had finally succeeded in breaking the man of his bravery. Though he wanted more than anything to aid Kaladar in his fight, he knew it was pointless. He was too weak. He looked to his left and found that Az had begun battle with the demon whom had fought Popo. He recalled Sekai mentioning that the genie lived. At least that’s how he interpreted it. Though he could not sense Popo there had been no sarcasm in his voice. A bird chirped softly in the distance. It had been the same Robin from earlier in their encounter. He had sent it to gather intel, and that it had, though it chirped too frequently for Saito to understand everything. He did however hear that the Genie was sleeping peacefully, this was enough to qualm his concerns. Anri too had been killed, a discussion that Azazel and Saito would have later. The only option remaining was the combat between Carla and the remaining warriors. The robin was most concerned for them. Carla was battling indiscriminately. It was time to put a stop to that.
Grabbing the blade, and having nothing to sheath it in, he simply carried it in his right hand. The dog no longer needed it. Or perhaps he did, though he would most certainly never see it again. He had taken Saito’s left eye, so it was only fair that in return the warrior take his prized weapon. Some kind of retribution. He would ensure the allies survival, and then return to Kaladar, if he could shake his damn nerves.
Saito took off, closing the distance between the fighters in the combat just a few yards away.

Kaladar felt his shoulder slam into the side of Kemuri. The hyena man was sent flying through the air which is exactly what Kaladar wanted. Quickly after came the Dodon ray. Kemuri would try his best to stop the ray, but all his efforts would be useless. The Dodon ray ripped through his beam and slammed into his arm. Kaladar was successful in getting Kemuri away from Saito. Now their fight could truly begin. Kaladar waited for the smoke to clear before he made his next move.
Even though he couldn’t see Kemuri, he could hear his all but familiar cackle. Something that he had grown accustomed to while he was his prisoner inside the castle. Kaladar knew that with his freedom. It was only a matter of time before the king showed up and this mess was dealt with. He wanted to check on Saito, but he knew taking his eyes off Kemuri was a mistake. He had underestimated this creature before and he wasn’t about to make the same mistake again.
“After all of these Kaladar…of watching you weaken Burradori with your soft advice…I finally get to tear your throat out.”
“All my advice kept the Earth at peace. The things you were suggesting would have gotten him killed or even destroyed the planet. Your time ends now Creature. You have lost. Your reign as ruler of Earth will be over as quickly as it started.” Kaladar said rising into the air
Kaladar was now several feet above Kemuri and the others. He saw Kemuri charging up energy and knew that there wasn’t much time to react. Bringing his hands up to his face Kaladar would shout Solar Flare. A bright light would emit from the center of his hands an illuminate the sky, hoping to blind Kemuri.
Kaladar’s real intentions were to cause Kemuri to fire his blast while Kaladar was in the air. If the Solar Flare was enough to blind him, Kemuei would hopefully fire at Kaladar’s last known location, which was in the air. Once the Solar Flare was activated, Kaladar would quickly fly to the left, begin to charge ki into his hands and fire two individual beams of Ki at Kemuri’s location. Once the beams hit either Kemuri of the ground, they would explode. So even if Kaladar has missed, Kemuri would hopefully be caught in the explosion.

The armored women got out of the way as Azazel was ripping through the air. Azazel figured something like that was going to happen. Coming to a halt, Azazel stood her ground waiting for the women to attack. That didn’t happen. Keeping watch on her, she pulled some sort of pouch out and was doing something. Azazel was just too far away to see exactly what came out of the pouch, but it didn’t matter to her. The women made a comment about having her priorities in order. Looking over at Kemuri, she knew he was the bigger threat out of the two, but Kami was handling him just fine right now.
However, this women killed Popo. Therefore, she was on the top of Azazel’s list of things that needed to be dealt with. The women was hovering over Saito, who had freed Kami from his shackles moments ago. Azazel was ready to charge full force again, if it looked like she was going to kill him. Instead it appeared that she was feeding him something, so Azazel stood still waiting for the women to run her attention back on her.
Seconds later the women looked back at Azazel and began to talk. Stating that she was going to fight her once Kemuri was dealt with. Upon hearing that a grin came across Azazels face. She knew she could easily deal with Kemuri in her current state. Once Kami’s power was returned she figured he would want to be the one to end Kemuri’s life. This women seemed to want nothing more than to test her own abilities with someone as strong as she was. As far as Azazel knew, she killed Popo. So this fight wasn’t going to be a test. One of them were going to die, that was the truth.
“So this is really going to happen isn’t it?” Lennalth asked
“Of course it is Lennalth. Kami shouldn’t have a problem handling Kemuri. The same fate that happened to her friend is going to happen to her. I have no problem with either outcome. Because if what you have been telling me is right, then I know where to go if I lose this fight. So really everyone wins in the end.” Azazel explained as he aura flared, cracking the tiles beneath her feet.
“You know there are better ways of doing this? We could have just killed Kemuri and gotten out of here. Found a different way of finding your family, if they are even there.” Lennalth said
“My mind is already made up Lennalth. I no longer need to be on this planet. Alexandria is with Migan and Kiiro. They will take good care of her in my absence. The only things that I still need to take care of here are this women and then Kemuri. If Kami hasn’t already killed him while I am distracted.”[/i][/color]
Azazel figured she should probably answer the womens question. “Well since you are the second person that has suggested me to fight off the Lookout. I am going to guess this place means something to you. With that in mind, maybe this time ill try a different location.” Azazel said shooting off the surface of the Lookout. Traveling a few dozen yards above the Lookout, looking down at the women.

Kaladar was still as skilled as ever despite his advanced age. Both had been advisors to Burradori for many years and some of the top generals in the fight to free Earth from the grasp of Vector. The difference being that Kemuri only walked away from Vector when Burradori proved to be a worthy enough candidate for holding the throne of Earth while he plotted his rise. Kaladar had been one of his generals from the early onset days. Burradori had turned to him due to his experience in the field and wisdom in troop movements. Not a bad concept to have but one that was flawed, since Kaladar was far too weak to prove to be a deciding factor. That honor lay with Kemuri when he turned against Vector.
Kaladar’s words were brief just like his existence in this feeble world. Kemuri’s eyes noticed as Kit made a b line for the other fight where Bear continued his fight. The red haired bitch went after the corrupted and arrogant genie that seemed to have all the confidence in the world. Let her fight the bitch, as she would soon return to the other plane that she originated from. One thing that he had over her for her betrayal was the item at which her very existence was tied to. If he was going to die then she was forever going to be trapped in her own little pocket dimension or she was going to die, either was acceptable to the Kage. The Guardian of Earth’s hands began to move up towards his forehead and immediately Kemuri snapped his eyes shut as he heard the words Solar Flare ring out. While he was not blinded by the attack he knew he was going to have to rely on his hearing and energy sensing if he hoped to strike Kaladar.
He heard him flying through the air to his left and based on his best guess Kemuri brought his hands forward and fired his beam outwards. His main hope was to strike at Kaladar with the beam which launched at 800,000 power level. However if he continued to hear Kaladar moving about he would drag the beam as best he could following the old man in his movements. After the blast had faded his eyes would snap back open and he would immediately leap backwards away from the edge of the Lookout so he now hovered in the air. He would then fire a Smoke Bomb off in the general direction of Kaladar to further drive him backwards. The Guardian of Earth would die this day.

As Kaladar was flying to his left, he was keeping an eye on Kemuri. The bastard was still charging up his beam and it was only a matter of time before he released it. Seconds after Kami thought that, he watched the Kage bring his hands forward and release the beam. It was heading straight at Kaladar, so he only have a second or so to react. Quickly he stopped using Bukujutsu and began to plummet towards the surface of the Lookout. It only took the beam mere seconds before it was above Kaladar, He could feel the heat from the energy.
His plan had worked to a degree he thought as he slammed into the tile flooring. Rising to his feet, debris began to roll off his body. His body was in pain from the fall, but it was worth it. All Kaladar had to do was bide his time and wait for his moment. Looking back at Kemuri he noticed some type or projectile coming his way. The smoke bomb landed right in front of Kaladar, exploding on contact. The guardian of Earth was quickly consumed by smoke, quickly shutting his eyes and covering his mouth.
Shooting off the ground, Kaladar shoot out of the smoke, opening his eyes once again. He could see the kage once again. He couldn’t let Kemuri get any time to rest. He knew Kemuri wasn’t stupid and the moment he had a chance to get away he would.
“You are going to have to do better than that Kemuri if you intend to take my life here today.” Kaladar said giving Kemuri a smile, while generating a ki shield around him that formed to his body.
Landing back on the lookouts surface. The moment ti feet touched the ground he rocketed through the air heading for Kemuri. Bringing his left arm forward he shot several ki blasts at him. They weren’t very strong, more of a distraction. Once Kaladar was close enough, and hoping that his blasts had done their job. Trusting his right fist forward, it would attempt to slam into the kage’s stomach. With enough force to send Kemuri traveling through the air.

Kami was proving to be the pain in the ass that he thought he would end up being. As the old man was consumed in smoke Kemuri was at least able to get a small breather in. Although his fight with Saito Kit had been quick it had still taken a little out of him and now to fight someone who was on his level was more of a stress on his body then he had thought. It had been a long time since he had really been pushed and as such was going to need to step up his techniques as his current fighting style was too much of high risk and high reward. Thus far he was not seeing any of the rewards. Kami was a smart man, relatively compared to Kemuri, so he knew that the old man was going to make adjustments as well.
“Oh I plan to you bag of bones. I still got plenty up my sleeve to beat you,” Kemuri cackled as his eyes caught the shimmer of a ki shield that wrapped around his body. The old man knew that his age would prevent a huge war to be waged on his body. That was the key, Kemuri was going to have to get close and exert his power over the old man in hand to hand combat if he was going to put Ole Yeller down. Kami’s hand short forward and launched several ki blasts the Kage. Kemuri could tell that they were weak but as he was about to deal with them Kami began to charge forward for an attack. The distraction of his movement was enough for all the blasts to slam into the Kage. The pain from each was minimal but enough to anger the fighter. He knew how he was going to return the favor to the old man. Just as he was about to hit Kemuri the hyena would disappear right before his eyes.
Using his Zanzoken he would disappear and then reappear right about Kami as he launched a hard elbow at the center of the back of the old man. He would follow this up with a knee to the chest and then several strikes to the face. He would have to throw harder than he would normally in order to try and break the ki shield that had wrapped itself around Kami. He was not too worried though, right now it was Kami versus Kemuri and Kemuri was going to win.

Alone.
As the final signs of Carmen's long vibrant hair fell over the side of the lookout, and Carla finally succumbed to the subduing act, Kit felt utterly alone. His words had been sincere. Together they were truly something. Each of them giving it their best shot at the same time, striking Kemuri from every angle with not one or two, but five powerful blasts would have been enough to incapacitate the warrior. Bear had been silent, his intentions unclear and no longer of importance. Carla had been too naive to see the bigger picture, her mind consumed with false pretenses of hate. Alex, he was the worst of them. His words burned in Saito's ears leaving a bitter taste in his throat. How he could so easily walk away from a battle that would not only determine the fate of Kaladar, but of the world they lived in was unbelievable. Carmen leaving was less surprising, she appeared to be as young as Carla, or at least acted that way. He didn't have time to deal with children, yet he had needed them. Earth had needed them.
The sounds of their final battle could be heard throughout the lookout. Kami and the mongrel exchanged blows, and bright flashes. Their powers both far exceeding Saito's. He had only been gone a few minutes and already their energies were intertwined in a dangerous ballet of wit and brute force. His stomach burned as the acids within began to decide his next action. To re-enter a fight he had already lost was foolish. Yet he had completed his goal the first time, so really it had been Kemuri whom had lost. It certainly didn't appear that way as he watched them fight. His combat with the dog had done little to slow his resolve, even with such a hearty attempt. Their movements were fast, so much so that Saito had to focus heavily in order to even see where they were going. He had no business in that fight, and yet...
Kaladar was alone.
It wasn't Saito whom had been abandoned. No he had been brought back from the brink of death. Kaladar was the warrior whom faced the creature alone. Della and Azazel were misplaced in their battle against one another. At a time they could have been working together they chose to fight. Then again it was really easier just not to think about Della, she was far too complicated for the man to understand. She had spared Popo, yet callously dispatched of Brandon. She had saved him from the clutches of Kemuri, and yet now fought against the only person strong enough to help Kaladar. None of it made any sense, at least none that Kit could make of it. He thought of every person he had met from the lookout, and relived how each left or was disposed of. It was then that the blonds mind began to really think. Who was the only person not currently fighting?
"Friend, a moment."
He beckoned to a nearby swallow whom had pirched itself atop a smoldering tree trunk. Its head twisted in a curious surprise, and then hopped forward chirping soundly. Scooping the small bird into his hands he spoke to it, a whisper so soft that no one but his avian counterpart would hear it. Then with a powerful shove he released the messenger bird into the sky, its wings instantly taking off his a hurried flutter. Only a moment later the tweet of his brave friend could be heard by everyone. No not one, but two and then three. Soon the air filled with the sound of tweets and crows and screeches of the nearby feathered allies Saito had just adopted into their army against Kemuri. They were not alone. Yet birds would do nothing to the demon, that was not their purpose. The birds fought for the same cause as Saito, and Kaladar, and Azazel, and Popo. They fought for their world, for they knew it was in peril.
The sounds slowly began to die off as the birds grew distant, though their cries continued the entire way. They had been sent to task, a task only Saito could understand. His ability to communicate with wildlife would stand as his only defense against the stupid decision he would make next. His feet picked up in a slow walk forward, his right index finger pointing out, a marble like Ki forming at the tip. He would fire his spirit gun one last time for this fight. He would fire it right at the contemptuous mutt and allow Kaladar the opportunity to strike him by surprise. It was the only thing he had the power to do, and he would do it with all that he had. He stopped a fair distance from the fight. As Kemuri began a physical barrage of attacks that Saito could finally manage to see. His finger glowing brightly at the waist. His heart beat quickened as the memory of the dog's claws inside of him began to feel more real than they had before. As if his body was begging him to retreat. But he would not. It was his only chance to help Kaladar.
All the while his birds flew, chirping loudly and spreading the undoubted message that so desperately needed to be sent.

Post by Fuhrer King Buraddori (NPC) on Oct 21, 2014 13:03:34 GMT -5
By the kai’s his head was pounding. Maybe it was the severe dehydration, maybe it was the lack of food, maybe it was a lack of sleep, or maybe some gross amalgamation of the three. The roof of his mouth was drier than the cup that sat near the door. It had held water up until a few days ago, and then it had stopped coming. Kemuri’s men had stopped coming. The Fuhrer-King sat alone in his own dungeon, left to rot.
What’s worse, Kemuri had been down to the prison and had told him that a group of heroes had come to try and rescue Kami. And only Kami. They had not even mentioned the King, and when the Kage had brought him up, they had had seemed to care little that he had been overthrown. No it was Kaladar they were after, and once they had had him they had left him there to rot. Was it more of Kemuri’s poisonous words? No, no it wasn’t. Kemuri had shown him the video. They had been in the throne room. They had been informed of the situation. Then the blue woman had said she cared little about his life, and that she only wanted Kami.
And no one said differently. They fought. Kemuri won, and then he gave them Kaladar. And they all left. With him in the dungeon to rot, and Kemuri to reign over Earth. How long had it been? The stubble on his face indicated a passage of time, but he had lost track to the monotony of the jail cell he found himself in. Would it ever end? What would he die down here of first? Hunger, starvation, or lack of sleep? He found that if he was desperate he could suck moisture from the walls and eat the moss that hung there, though it left him feeling light-headed. It would not sustain him for very much longer. He would die down here. Was this how he treated prisoners? No doubt that was not the case.
How could they have abandoned him like this? Kemuri had come down and told him the final battle was about to begin, and that his death would be following. Buraddori welcomed it at this time. It would end the suffering he had been subjected too. So long had the collar been digging into his neck, a constant reminder of how he had been betrayed by so close an ally. That was one mistake he would not be making again. If he lived through this that was…
Tap…
Tap…Tap…Tap
TAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAP TAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAP
Suddenly the bars on the wall were springing to life with activity. Birds of all kinds swarmed around, creating a flurry of colors and feathers. The Fuhrer-King stared in wonder at the sight, curious as to what in the world could have caused something of the like. Once they caught his eye the tapping stopped. It was eerie the way they all suddenly stopped like that. Was it his attention that they were after? It had to be, the way they were looking at him. They suddenly swarmed into the cell with him, tapping at his collar and trying to pull on his clothes. The king just stood there in bewilderment as the birds swarmed around him. He was not afraid, as there was no malice behind their actions. If anything they seemed to be taking extra care to not peck his weakened skin with their sharp beaks or talons. They seemed to be trying to lead him to the door, but Buraddori finally waved them off.
“It’s locked and I have all the power of a regular starving man! What do you suppose I do?! Beg it down? Complain loudly enough to the keyhole and maybe it will unlock? Bah!” Buraddori said, though the birds persisted. They kept tapping at the collar over and over again, as if attempting to break it with their sharp beaks. One of the birds missed, and his beak jabbed the king in the neck. He braced himself for a pain that never came. Confused, he reached up and touched the collar. The energy it had once hummed with was gone. With great effort he wrenched it from his neck. Though the collar was gone, he had been starved for… well he couldn’t remember how long, but its effects did not go unnoticed. At best he was back up to somewhere in the hundreds for power-level, but it was a far cry from his usual power.
Quickly the man ascended the steps, if quickly was a snail’s pace. Too long had he been starved, dehydrated and sleep deprived. Still there was a stash of senzu beans he knew about, one that he kept for himself for times such as these, though this was an instance he had never seen coming. Panting and out of energy, he finally reached the hiding place and greedily stuck one into his mouth. His power came coursing back through his body, and suddenly he was standing tall and regal as he once had. His power was back to its full. If Kemuri was still alive, he was going to pay dearly for his actions. The castle was surprisingly empty, not a single soul to be found dwelling within it. He searched from top to bottom, and the occupation by Kemuri was obvious. Everything was a disgusting shade of purple.
The lookout would be the Fuhrer-King’s first destination. Kaladar had been released, and his friend would be better informed of the situation than he. All of his clones had been returned into his body when his bastard traitor of an advisor placed the dampening collar on his neck. He would have the make the journey himself. But that was fine. He was itching for a fight after being held captive for so long.
Energy crackled around the Fuhrer-King as he touched down on the lookout, his power to its maximum. The place was a mess to say the least, and it was not over yet. He had arrived just in time it would seem, with hundreds of birds behind him for some reason. They had not stopped following him all the way here, though he outpaced them all by a great deal.
“ENOUGH!” [/b] The Fuhrer-King’s powerful voice would cut through the air and above any sounds of fighting. The villain would be wise to listen to him, but he had the power to make him if he didn’t. This would end now.
The true Fuhrer-King of Earth had returned.

One moment he was before him, and the next he was gone. Kaladar’s fist swing through what looked to be Kemuri, but struck nothing solid. A veteran fighter it only took him an instant to realize what technique he had used. Silently cursing himself for falling for such a simply trick so easily Kami starts to turn, knowing an attack was coming from a different direction. Despite his efforts he was not fast enough, a fist catching him in the side and then in the jaw, both softened by the barrier of Ki that surrounded his body. More came though, slipping past his guard as he attempted to catch up with his foe. Another fist slammed into his shoulder and then a kick into his side, the barrier that protected him finally dissipating. The next blow that came hit flesh and muscle, drawing a small grunt from the old man as it connected.
Was he getting slow in his old age? That seemed to be the case, his mind and body admittedly not what they used to be. No Kami lasted forever, no matter how long lived they might be. He had also failed to notice what it was Kemuri had planned, how could he protect Earth if he couldn’t even protect himself? Perhaps it was time for him to think about passing on his mantle, letting the next generation take over so that Earth might be a safer place. Barely blocking a punch he realizes this was not the time for internal debate, he was still the Guardian of Earth and it needed him now more than it ever had in his lifetime.
Catching up with his foes strikes he began to deflect them, his arms still taking the brunt of the hits, but protecting his body. So caught up in his fight with the evil hyena he had not noticed the departure of the others, nor the signature that was quickly approaching. Focused on his duty and his foe he had not even contemplated that fact that the King was free of his collar as well, the device that had controlled them destroyed by Saito. Even now the blonde human was the only one still focused on their foe, Azazel having diverged from the task at hand to engage whatever it was that Jenn had become.
Shifting Kaladar employs his own Zenzoken, disappearing from few only to reappear several yards above his foe. A sphere of energy forming his hands he was about to launch it when familiar voice booms across the Lookout. Holding the energy at bay he looks over to see the Fuhrer-King himself standing at the edge of the Lookout, his full power returned. Making sure to keep track of Kemuri with his ki sensing he addresses the man.
”Fuhrer, you are free.” The statement an obvious one, but conveying the surprise and relief the old fighter had for the warrior’s sudden arrival. It looked like Earth was save…but how had he known his collar was deactivated?
