Akassa floated in the air far from New Vegeta and her subjects. Leke’s funeral had just finished and the Queen was in a more somber mood than was her norm. The death of her brother, while it had been at her own hands, was something she took no joy in. Actually, it was quite the opposite. Twice she had attempted to warn him that he was only going to get hurt and the kinetic blast she had directed at him was not meant to take his life. In her anger she had underestimated the power she wielded and it had cost her another family member. With three dead, one on his way to destroy the Universal Church of One and another perhaps lost amongst the stars Akassa felt alone. How would Ninjin react when he returned and would Nasu ever return? The questions nagged at her, but she had no answers. Perhaps upon their returns they would understand what she had done, see past the actions to the woman that they had created. Maybe then she would not have to carry on alone.
In terms of family she was alone, but that did not mean she currently was. Slightly off to her right a heavily armored Saiyan floated. The male was no Hattori or close friend of Akassa, he was a general. General Toa had approached her first after she had dealt with Tsuyo and Natisha and for that he had earned his spot as her second in command. With a word he had been promoted above the rest and was now her main contact when it came to military affairs. The position was not simply one of circumstance though for the Saiyan was a veteran. At almost twice the Queen’s age he had seen countless battles and served the Saiyan people for over three decades. For these reasons he was with Akassa now. Leke’s funeral had dampened her spirits, but the Universe rolled on. Too much needed to be done for her to wallow in sadness.
”The service went well Your Grace, the people came out in droves to see the young prince off.” The warriors gruff voice deep and level, no emotion allowed to creep into it no matter what he might have felt.
”I am aware Toa. I could see in their eyes that they are ready to move on, ready to get back to a “normal” life. Too much has befallen our home in these recent weeks; we need to look towards better times.” She quietly responds, her much softer voice quite the opposite of her generals gravelly tone.
”And you will deliver that to them. I have every faith in you that New Vegeta shall not be caught so unawares again. Although, admittedly I would enjoy seeing the fate of any that attempted to challenge you.” The warrior quite proud of his Queen’s power. After all, it had been millennia since a Saiyan of her power had graced the Universe.
”I appreciate your confidence. Never again will my people suffer in such a way. That is why I have called you here. There is much to be done and I cannot oversee everything, you will have to be my second set of eyes and ears. First we must rebuild for we cannot return our race to greatness as our home lies in ruin. The reconstruction of all we have lost I leave to you. You have called New Vegeta your home for longer than I so I trust in you to see it to its former glory.” Akassa’s eyes looked out into the uninhabited part of New Vegeta before her. Once they were done rebuilding they would expand…and she did not plan for it stop with the rest of the moon.
”It would be my honor Your Grace. I shall make sure that everything is as it was or better, especially the palace. I already have…” The general’s words come to an abrupt halt as the Queen raises her hand to silence him.
”I have already set plans in motion for the palace. An ally of mine, or at least one I still believe to be an ally, can assist me in its reconstruction. With his abilities it should be complete before the rest of the city, a testament to the royal resolve of the Hattori. His name is Ezekiel NeCross, a powerful warrior that I have asked to return to New Vegeta. I am sure you have heard of him.” Hopefully Ezekiel would receive her message and return sooner than later. Her desire to rebuild the castle was constantly on her mind, yet she would not force him to return unless he was ready. Ezekiel was a friend and she hoped he would despite what had happened.
”I have heard of him. He often frequents the bar owned by Kazu Raspedos. He was also invited to the war council if I am not mistake, yet he still chose to leave on his own mission. The warrior seems unpredictable, but I know you would not seek an allegiance with him if it was not appropriate.” Toa remarks, no skepticism in his voice as the statement is just an honest assessment. That is what Akassa so appreciated about him; he was respectful, but not afraid to speak honestly.
”You are correct in your assessment, but I believe I can trust him. I have also lifted the banishment of Nasu Nun…Nasu Hattori.” She corrects herself, having already confirmed through the Dark Siders group that the boy was in fact a son of her late father. ”When he returns he is not to be harassed or confronted, I will take care of him myself. As foolish as the boy might have been in the past he is my brother and a potentially powerful ally. Going forward I shall seek those that can further our cause. Unlike my father I see the value in alliances with others. Of course only if they understand that they serve me, I will not compromise my leadership for assistance.”
”Understood, I will make sure the guard is aware. Is there anything else Your Grace?” The general asks, his hands folded behind him as he talks, his eyes never leaving Akassa. Glancing over to him she smirks a little, wanting him to see that the sour emotions from Leke’s funeral were not weighing her down. The Queen in no way felt she had to impress the General for she was unquestionable in charge. However, the more she was able to display in terms of confidence and power the more he would trust in her. This in effect would trickle down to the troops below him. There was no doubt some uncertainty with her sudden ascension, but she looked to eradicate it.
”Nothing official, no. I came here to practice something, a technique I dared not attempt near the populace. You may stay and watch if you wish, the choice is yours Toa.” Turning her attention to the barren landscape before her she did not need to look back to know he was staying. For one she was able to sense his signature, and two she knew his curiosity would keep him there for now. The technique she was about to perform was one she had always wanted to learn, but had never even be allowed to see beyond one occasion, two since her father had used it against her. With access to all the palace records and archives she had now taken time to view the technique in its entirety. With some practice in gathering energy for it, but afraid to unleash it, the Queen was confident that she could not unleash the attack in all its glory.
Distancing herself a little more from her general Akassa releases the restraints on her power, silver aura bursting to life as she does. Normally, that was all she needed to perform any of her techniques. Such was not the case with what she planned to attempt. Waiting until she was father still from Toa, for his own safety, the Queen calls upon more of her power. Hand and metal hand clenching alike Akassa grits her teeth, lips curled back as she lets out an audible growl. Deep within her she still felt the power that she had tapped into against Tsuyo, but it did not come to her with ease. Breathing growing heavier she focuses as flashes of yellow spike through her silver aura. Below her pebbles and rock begin to shift and bounce before slowly rising into the air. Above her levitating form the thin clouds of New Vegeta start to swirl, the eye of the forming whirlwind above Akassa. With a final scream her power bursts forth, silver aura snapping to gold as she shifts into her Super Saiyan form. Off to the side Toa could not help but stare in awe of the sheer power the Queen was able to ascend to.
Panting some Akassa rolls her neck, the strain of shifting into the form still present, but she was getting used to it. Hopefully with enough practice she would be able to switch states with ease. Taking a moment to catch her breath and recall her previous training sessions Akassa then throws both her arms out to the side, legs slightly spread as well. With golden energy rippling along her form she starts to focus, sparks dancing across both of her outstretched hands as she does. Gathering more energy the Queen does not attempt to control her breathing, letting her air come in quick breaths as she puts all her attention on the technique. She felt the power coursing through her, reaching even higher levels than even she had previously been able to obtain. As the charge within her grew Akassa’s muscles bulge slightly with power, her body straining to contain her rising energy.
Moving onto the next stage both of her arms swing inwards, hands meeting just past her wrists. Making sure to keep her hands open still both of her palms now face forwards as her fingers curl out to the sides. The small sparks that had existed before now start to fuse as a larger charge builds. Feeling herself starting to sweat the Queen presses onwards, not satisfied with herself until she had gone all the way. In her now cupped hands a ball of blinding yellow light takes shape, the energy bordering on white with its intensity. Pouring energy into the small sphere it pulses, growing in size with each infusion of energy. She was so close now; Akassa could feel the pure power behind the growing energy constrained within her bare hands, the sparks arching of the sphere tingling along her palm. With a groan as she forces her body to give more to the attack the sphere jumps in size, filling her hands now as a grin spreads across her lips.
”Final…” Her voice echoing out across the adjacent landscape as she prepares to release the attack. Like Tsuyo and his fathers before him, she had mastered the ultimate attack of her people. With the power she now held between her hands Akassa could obliterate any foe that stood before her. Such energy had the potential to take out whole planets if she so choose. None could stand before her now, not a soul in the universe had the power to handle the Saiyan Queen. Grin widening, she almost did not want to release the attack simply so she could enjoy the feel of it that much longer. She knew her body could not contain it for much longer though as the energy itself struggle to get free. ”…Flash!!!”
Yelling the second half of the techniques name the energy in her hands erupts into a golden-white beam of pure power. Through the air of New Vegeta it lances across the dark sky with unstoppable power. Had she been foolish enough to unleash such an attack near the city there would have been little left. In time she knew foes would the target of her attack and it was going to be the last thing they ever saw. Panting heavily as her hands drop to her side she still wears a slight grin as she watches the beam dart off into space. She had done it. Final Flash was something now within her grasp and unlike her father she planned to put it to good use. Taking a moment to glance over to Toa she was pleased to see the look of shock plastered across his features. He had probably never seen the attack before and Akassa had just unleashed it with more power than Tsuyo was ever capable of. He would no doubt be telling stories to his men later, exactly like Akassa wanted.
Looking back one last time as the blast faded from sight the Queen powers down. More practice was needed, that had taken far too much out of her. Still, she had done it. The ability to harness such a technique only confirmed her belief that she was meant to be Queen. Nothing could stop her now.

Final Flash
Japanese Name: Final Flash
The attack is charged with the arms spread out, palms facing the opponent. Then the wrists are brought together, like in the Kamehameha, and an almighty blast of Ki is let rip!)
