As the beam of black ki ripped through the sky, Azazels hands began to shake. Never before in her life had she used this much energy at one given time. Even before when she shot at Anri, the amount of Ki she used was easy for her to handle. This time it much more then she anticipated, but she needed it to take out the women. Azazel watched as the beam got closer and closer to the women. That is when once again her staff manifested itself from no where. Azazel could tell that she was building up energy at the same time she was. She hoped that her attack would catch her off guard.
That is when the women formed some sort of circle. She was a beam come from the center of the circle, slamming into her own attack. As Azazel continued to pour energy into her attack, she could feel it getting pushed back by the womens. The black beam would be pushed to the center point between the two combatants. The two were locked in a beam struggle, each one trying to focus more energy into their attacks.
“Azazel there was no need for this. Kemuri was taken care of, all we needed to do was leave this place. Yoyu still want to find your family don’t you?” Lennalth asked
“Silitha is my first priority, but I need to make sure this women is of no threat to Alexandria. You don’t understand Lennalth, if she killed Brandon just because he was close to Vixi. Alexandria has also spent time with the fox eared girl. I do not need this women mistaken Alexandria for an enemy like she did Brandon. She needs to go.” Azazel said gritting her teeth as she continued to focus on the struggle.
Lennalth was at a loss of words, but the spirit knew something that Azazel didn’t. Well at least it is something Azazel forgot about, but soon enough it was going to make itself known. It was only a matter of time now before it happened.
“Azazel you have to listen to me, you need to stop this senseless fight. Just listen to what I am saying. Drop from the sky and shoot off in a direction. You need to try to get away from this women as fast as you can.” Lennalth said
“Even if I were to do that, this women knows ki better than I do. She is able to sense it better than myself, Lennalth. There is no turning back from what I have done now. This battle is only going to end when one of us dies. That is how it has to be, there is no other way.”
Azazel could hear Lennalth trying to talk some reason into her, but it wasn’t going to work. Azazel was focused on eliminating the women from existence. Continuing to shoot ki into the black beam, she was going to push through. Azazel screamed as more ki was pushed into her attack.
(it says more ki was put into the beam, but it isn’t stronger. Just saying this for clarification)

"Della.." Jenns voice cut through the tense air around Della as she put everything she had into the blast, all the pent up energy that she had been focusing since the moment Azazel chose to threaten the Lookout, so much energy, perhaps TOO much energy, there was enough power between them that Della was not entirely certain what would happen if these blasts had hit anything other than each other "I thought the plan was not to kill her, she's not in the right state of mind, I felt how you were after we released this tier of power if its anything like it was for us.." "I know... I know.. but I had to match her for power, anything less and the Lookout would have been in danger if she really did plan to hit it and now this is a matter of survival, if I had launched anything less than this our attack would have been overwhelmed we do not have the luxury that she had against Anri of being so massively beyond our opponent in power, she is essentially our equal in power and I have to match anything she puts out or risk a rather premature death for the both of us." Della cut Jenn off with a heavy sigh as she shifted her body bringing her left hand to clasp around the staff just below her right allowing her a small amount of extra control over the blast.
"I really do not know what we can do here Jenn, I have done everything I can to convince her of the truth of the situation but she either wont or cant understand our perspective on things, I now regret having Popo keep quiet it was selfish I wanted to make a spectacle of myself a grand reveal to the fool Kemuri that he no longer possessed any means of controlling us and allow those gathered to deal with him as they pleased before testing my power against Azazel." Della gritted her teeth in frustration as her thoughts were 'sent' to Jenn "Perhaps we can convince her to end this fruitless energy struggle, neither of you posses the power to push each other much further and all it will come down to is a matter of endurance" Jenn thought back sighing in frustration over the situation, if they possessed some means of mentally linking with Azazel then it would be a simple matter to simple speak to the woman or even SHOW her what was really going on that Dellas words were the truth of the matter that until Della had taken over and ascended in power they were more or less at Kemuri's beck and call.
"Which I do believe we would win" Della thought with no small amount of satisfaction, despite the seriousness of the situation the Efreeti pride in Della remained quite strong "But the cost would of course be Azazel's life something I am now less than willing to exact, her heart is in the right place it's just a matter of her mind being clouded and her view of the situation being skewed, losing one of my only potential sparring partners is likewise something I am less than interested in" Della thought earning a sigh from Jenn for her poor attempt to lighten the mood. "I will try it your way though Jenn, even if reasoning with her has been all but useless so far it is the best course" Della thought with a sigh of her own.
Her mind returning to the situation at hand Della tightened her grip on the staff steeling herself for the possibility that Azazel might ignore her request and attempt to enhance her attack or otherwise attack in some manner "Azazel! This is useless, we are far too evenly matched for this struggle to actually do anything meaningful save for eventually consuming whichever of us runs low on energy first, you put out far more energy against Anri than I did against Popo, I do not want your death but if you let this continue that is the outcome we will reach. Lets end this now and settle our battle properly." Della called out and while Della was fully ready to end the energy struggle with Azazel she was equally ready to press on to send as much extra energy into the blast as she could in an effort to maintain her ground against Azazel.
All the while in the back of both Della and Jenn's minds they could not pull some small portion of there thought process away from something they had allowed to be mostly glossed over, the idea of there death such thoughts were surprisingly rare and even when the thought of death came up it was rarely in the vein of their own death but rather in the context of the death of a loved one long ago memories of there passing occasionally coming to the forefront but the idea of their own death was practically never even a concept, having lived for so long they had become accustomed to the idea of living eternally always watching others pass by. And it worried them both equally because the idea of dying was not something that seemed quite so terrible, it was perhaps the easiest way to obtain freedom a chance to perhaps finally see them again. Perhaps the only thing keeping back the idea of simply releasing the runic blast and allowing Azazel's attack to consume them was how much unfinished business remained in the world of the living and no matter how hard the cold cynical part of her mind tried to tell her they had done enough that others could handle there business both Della and Jenn knew they could not simply let go, Vixi needed them and while she could theoretically find a home with Azazel that hinged upon the demoness actually regaining her senses, Hero was still trapped beneath UNITY's thumb, and of course Unity itself still remained. While Unity itself was perhaps the least 'their business' neither Della nor Jenn felt willing to leave such a vile organization open to run rampant not just on the Earth but on the countless worlds that dotted the endless heavens.

Azazel kept focusing energy into her attack. The two were still fighting to get the upper hand in this fight. As Azazel poured more energy into the attack, it felt like something was moving through her body. She could slowly begin to feel her body getting weaker, but was able to shake it off for the time being. She couldn’t let this women get the upper hand. One slip up meant death, there was no going back from what she has done. The two of them were equally matched, it was clear that it was going to come down to a test of endurance.
“Azazel you need to stop this right now, Your body is getting weaker by the second. I don’t know what is causing it, but I can feel something wrong. You might want to consider stopping this before something happens.” Lennalth explained.
“I am not going to stop until this women is taken care of. I don’t know what you are talking about Lennalth, I feel fine.” Azazel said
Just as she finished talking, she heard the womens voice. Once again trying to get her to calm down and end this fight. Making the comment that she put out more energy in her fight against Anri. Which was true, Azazel knew she hadn’t full recovered from the amount of ki it took to kill that man. Azazel could hear Lennalth once again. Trying to get her to listen to them women and stop this fight. All she had to do was stop her attack and the women would stop hers. At least that is what it sounded like would happen, If Azazel were to choose that path.
Azazel had no interest it letting up, instead she poured more ki into her attack. When she did the feeling that something was crawling through her body intensified for a second. As fast as she had tried to strengthen her attack, it weakened and the women ski began to overpower hers. Shaking her head, and blocking out Lennalths voice she was able to push back. Regaining the ground that she had lost seconds before.
“Azazel you need to listen to me and that women. She is giving you a chance to end this and you will be able to fight her at a different point in time. I know you want some kind of vengeance for what she did to Popo and Brandon, but is it really worth all of this? Who cares when you get the chance to beat her. Besides I is going to be hard to exact your vengeance if you are dead.” Lennalth explained to Azazel
“I have told you this over and over again Lennalth, I am not going to be the one that is going to die here today. There is no need to wait, she is going to feel the same pain that she caused Brandon and Mr. Popo. So I suggest you stop trying to convince me otherwise.” Azazel said
Continuing to focus more ki into her attack, she felt the same feeling as before. Turning he head she coughed to the side and as she did a little bit of blood seeped out of the corner of her mouth. Shaking it off she put her attention back into the fight. This battle needed to be ended and the sooner the better.

Della let out a sigh of exasperation as she felt Azazel's energy pulse adding to the power of there struggle rather than backing off as she had requested, she had done this primarily for Jenn's sake, in truth Della had figured it was unlikely that Azazel would accept even a temporary truce, all this time that they had been fighting Azazel remained unwilling to yield any ground on the concept of Della not being an enemy and this was no different. If Azazel was unwilling to trust that they were not necessarily enemies then why would she believe that Della was actually willing to let this struggle end peacefully, the woman was utterly confident in her own power which meant that even the argument that this would come down to a matter of endurance was similarly one that Azazel could easily ignore, certainly Azazel would believe herself more than capable of standing against them no matter how long it would take. Della had very much wanted this to not be the case, for the demoness to see reason, but in this regard luck was not on her side.
"I want you to know Azazel, I do this not because I want to. But because you give me no other choice." Della said with a heavy sigh as much like Azazel she began to pour everything that remained into her end of the blast channeling her energies through the staff and into the runic pattern causing the purple pillar of energy to pulse with new life giving to it what little energy she could build up in spite of the bulk of her energy being used primarily to sustain the already existing blast. The runes glowed with new life once again and with every effort Della made to pour energy into her end of the blast the pillar would pulse growing larger with every addition to it before shrinking back down to its normal size creating a sort of wave-like pattern to the attack.
As Della's energy pulses began to flood her end of the attack with new life she began to notice something a bit... odd, Azazel's power was fluctuating once again but unlike before where it was the familiar feeling of energy being pushed intot he attack these fluctuations were far more steep. Is she running low on power already? Jenn inquired before Della could even say anything on the matter voicing Della's own curiosity over the situation. I do not know, it feels unlikely that this would be the case but perhaps she truly did expend far more energy against Anri than was necessary, combined with the fighting we were doing earlier it would make sense but if that is the case she should be more aware of it and at least be entertaining the idea of ending this foolishness Della thought back not entirely sure what Azazel was doing, the fluctuations could also be something far less 'good' for them, it could very well be some indication that Azazel was portioning off her energy for a larger boost to the attack something that could very well end the balance that they had come to and overwhelm Della's attack.

Azazel kept pushing back against the womens attack, but she could feel her body getting weaker by the second. She was impressed with herself that she lasted this long in the beam struggle. She didn’t know why her body was acting this way, but there was something wrong. It’s almost like it happened out of no where, like it was something the women had done. Azazel knew that couldn’t be true. She could still hear Lennalth talking to her. Still trying to convince her to stop this fight and run away. Run back to Alexandria and take her off this planet.
“Azazel why aren’t you listening to me! You need to get out of here. You need to go back to Alexandria and take her away from here. I know you can feel your body getting weaker by the second. It is only a matter of time before it takes full effect.” Lennalth explained
Azazel ignored what Lennalth was saying. She needed to focus all her attention into her attack. As Azazel felt the women pour more energy into her attack, Azazel began to lose some ground. Only losing a little bit ground she was able to stop herself from losing more ground. It was clear that something was wrong. Clearing her mind she heard nothing. No noise from Lennalth, the beams, or the women. She needed to try to figure out what was going on. That is when it dawned on her. That pest from before hit her with some kind of gas. Something that she had shrugged off.
Azazel began to laugh to herself, the man from before had actually managed to take her out. That punk had managed to do something right in their fight. “Poison that is what is coursing through my body. The one called Anri, did this to me Lennalth. Whatever was in that gas he exerted it is making my body weaken by the moment.” Azazel said smiling
“Then that is more of a reason to leave and go back to Alexandria, I am sure there is something we can do to stop the poison from killing you. Just listen to me this one time and leave the fight. I am certain the women isn’t going to follow you. She has no reason to.” Lennalth said
Azazel kept smiling, she had already made up her decision, and there was not enough time for her to get back to Alexandria. Azazel knew where she had to go next anyways from what Lennalth had told her. It was time to leave this planet and find her sister. Alexandria was in a good place. The child would have no idea of what events took place here today.
Looking at the women Azazel smiled at her and immediately stopped pouring power into her beam. It would be mere moments before the women’s attack overcame Azazel’s and was making its way towards the Demoness. Still smiling, Azazel closed her eyes and waited for everything to end. She could hear Lennalth screaming inside her head, but Azazel wasn’t going to move. The poison was killing her anyways so running away was pointless. She would give the women satisfaction in thinking that she won their fight, when in truth Azazel was dead from the start. She saw the purple beam getting closer and within a second the beam enveloped her body. It was more painful than anything she could have ever imagined, but she would only feel it for a mere second before her body began to get fade away.
Before Azazel was completely erased from existence she managed to yell out one phrase. “Thank you” Azazel was finally going home and it was all because of that women. Very quickly everything went black and Azazel was no longer part of the living.

Dellas breathing became heavy as she poured everything she had left into the blast both herself and Jenn remaining entirely silent as more and more pour flowed from there body into the blast knowing full well that with this action it meant that eventually it would have to come down to one of them dying, if Azazel was so unwilling to accept a truce even a temporary one after everything that they had tried then it was unlikely that simply seeing Della's attack grow in power would change things, the woman was holding firm to her decision and while Della found it foolish she had to at least respect the woman's determination, the willingness to do anything to achieve her goals.
It was not very long after the increase in power on Della's end of the beam struggle that Della felt the fluctuations in Azazel's power end, however where she expected Azazel's power to return to normal instead it began a steep decline as if Azazel had been doing everything in ehr power just to remain at her former level of strength, on top of this Azazel stopped pouring energy into her end of the blast, with no verbal indication of what Azazel was doing there was nothing Della could do to stop what would come next, her blast overwhelmed Azazel's as it grew weaker engulfing the blast and within a few brief moments overwhelming the woman herself. Just before she was consumed entirely Della could hear Azazel's voice as she spoke two words.
'thank you' By the time the sound reached Della she had already begun breaking off her link to the blast allowing her to let out a heavy breath as she took in Azazel's last words. Had Azazel WANTED to die? Was that why she had so emphatically gone after her and ignored every attempt they had made to convince her to end the foolish battle. Another few heavy sighs followed soon after as Della watched the area that Azazel had been floating in, not a few seconds ago she had been all but unstoppable, and until the signature of the being that had killed Kemuri arrived she had been the only comparable person of power that she had known of. "I hope you find what drove you to this Azazel." Della muttered to herself as she took a few more breaths. Now the process of dealing with the rest of the Lookout would come. She needed to locate Popo a simple enough effort considering she knew the area that she had left him in on the off chance that he had not informed Kaladar of her position or if Kaladar had not heard her declaration against Kemuri.
[Exiting thread, grabbing Popo and heading to the Lookout. I suppose I could do a non-saga(or saga even I suppose) thread with Kaladar and/or the King, PL please]
