"You have no idea.." Della said with a heavy sigh as Azazel took to the air agreeing to take there battle away from the Lookout, they flew high above the lookout in a fairly short amount of time all the while Della kept her gaze on the events unfolding below. She knew Azazel wanted an actual fight and even if she did make the choice to attack while Della was 'distracted' it would be easy enough to sense the buildup of energy and come up with some sort of path of defense. Della watched as the bean took effect on the boy and much to her surprise he even managed to pull himself back to his feet taking Kemuri's blade with him as he scurried off to the others pausing only for a few moments to cast his glance onto the battle between Kemuri and Kaladar. For a moment Della worried that he might be foolish enough to return to that fight in an attempt to aid Kaladar but thankfully that was not the case, perhaps his run in with Kemuri's full power was enough to ward him off such foolishness for the time being. He was certainly the strongest of those below Kemuri and Kaladar but even still his power paled in comparison to those two, it was surprising to note that Kemuri truly did have a very significant amount of power to throw around. Far more than he had displayed in there initial battle, and even more than what Anri had been able to put out against Azazel. Still though neither Kaladar nor Kemuri had the strength to stand against herself or Azazel. "It's rather amusing how this all turned out, while I certainly don't consider myself one of his warriors Kemuri certainly considered me such and look at me now, I could wipe him out in a matter of moments, and while I doubt you would be willing you have more than enough power to do the same to Kaladar. Funny how we ended up so far beyond out 'leaders'" Della said with a small chuckle as there ascension finally came to a halt, they were now so far above the Lookout that it was difficult to make out with a look exactly what was going on, reaching out with her sense told Della that things were remaining just as they had during the ascension, any significant changes in the tone of events was likely to be heralded by a spike in power so that meant that she could return her focus to where it belonged, her opponent. "I'm rather used to being the strongest though so it's nice to be back on top, in my time when the Earth was still young power was not as accessible as it is now. Few beings held anywhere near this much power, of course my ability to perceive power signatures was not always as keen as it is now so I can't quite say with certainty that I've never witnessed anything as powerful as we are now. Before your fight with Anri, was that your first time accessing this power? I gained my power when the fool attacked Kemuri's castle, the sight of him so close to her was enough to give me the leverage I needed to break through. I hope you aren't letting it cloud your mind, I know exactly how the rush of power feels the need to test yourself, it's why I wanted to fight Anri myself before I felt your transformation." Della said her expression faltering somewhat at the mention of Anri, it truly was quite a pity that Anri was the way he was, whenever they spoke it was not infrequent that Della or Jenn saw something much more deep inside Anri than just a mercenary looking for his next hit. The fact that he had even given the girl the option to escape spoke greatly to the fact that Anri was not some mindless killer. He was simply a man doing a job and unfortunately this time the job was for a very very bad man. "I want to be angry with you for killing him, he was a friend of mine the closest I've made since arriving in this time. But I cant quite bring myself to blame you for killing him, I think Anri wanted to be a good man somewhere deep inside himself, I could see as much when we talked. But that did not change the fact that he was not a good man yet, had he been the one with more power he would not have thought twice about killing you and if the others did not flee as he suggested they certainly would have fell as well..." Della said with a heavy sigh "But that does not mean I won't take a certain amount of satisfaction out of beating you bloody and as a honor to the good part of Anri, the part that I will not have a chance to try to bring out-" Della said pausing for a moment as her armor would begin to crack and fall to pieces as her skin began to shift beneath it causing small spikes to jut out from various parts of her body as her skin morphed becoming more and more rigid with every moment and taking on a far less defined appearing more and more like hard sheets of smooth bone leaving little to nothing of Della's old appearance in favor of looking much like a feminine version of the very man that Azazel had killed "I'll be doing you the courtesy of putting everything I have into this fight, the form of a Vennor, one of Anri's people, should do nicely for protection" Della said as her mouth quirked into a small smirk and then with a wave of the arm she would summon a staff nearly as long as she was tall bearing a golden hoop at it's head "And I'll arm myself with my strongest weapon, the Staff of One. It's a weapon created long before the current era, like I said power was not nearly as easily accessible back then, but many many men put quite a lot of mystical power into creating this staff and over several thousand years it has passed from one powerful mage to another taking with it a fraction of there power, and now I posses it and with it I wield there power as my own" Della said as she began pumping power into the staff causing it to burst into flame in her grasp "No Della, WE wield it's power, together." Jenn piped in and with her words the flames of the staff shimmered shifting from red to a deep purple as they began to flicker with even greater intensity as Della twirled the weapon around in her grasp "Your move Azazel" she said as with one last flourish Della took up a fighting stance as she prepared for Azazel to make a move. [For clarity, Staff of One summoned, Staff of One Empowered, Scales of the Dragon 'active']
[Unless there is a problem with it I'll be using my 'Scales of the Dragon' as an imitation of the Vennor durability trait, otherwise perhaps while not described Della formed the actual scales beneath the Vennor exoskeleton mostly just doing this as a bit of cool fluff]

Azazel waited in the air for the armored women to come up to her level. It took longer than she would have liked. But eventually the women did make her way up to Azazel and began to speak. Azazel wasn’t interested in speaking at the current moment. But decided to let her say what ever she had to. After all it was going to be her final words anyways. She continued to go on and on about her past. At least that is what Azazel was taking away from it. She asked before the fight took place with Anri. If this was her first time accessing this type of power.
“Why is she asking you all of these questions? Are you actually going to let her keep talking or are you going to stop her?” Lennalth asked
“I am going to let her say as much as she wants. It doesn’t matter what she says anyways. So you are going to have to be quiet Lennalth, I am trying to listen to everything this women has to say.”
Azazel focused her attention back onto the women, who was still talking. She went on about wanting to be mad at Azazel for killing her friend. Well at least the closest thing she had to a friend since arriving in this time. She said that Anri wanted to be a good man, upon hearing this a smile came across Azazel’s face. If that man truly wanted to be a good person he shouldn’t have allied himself with Kemuri. That was his first mistake and it cost him his life in the process.
She stated she was going to to take a certain amount of satisfaction in beating Azazel bloody and honoring that man. Azazel just continued to smile, this women was talking nonsense. She wasn’t going to be the one that was going to die here today oh no. Azazel knew exactly what was going to happen to her. If she is so upset about her friend dying, Azazel would have no problem allowing the two to meet once again.
That is when the women began to transform. Taking a more female version of what Anri looked like. It looked like Azazel was going to kill two of what ever his kind was today. The women also summoned a staff into her hand. Azazel kept her ground waiting for the women to finish speaking. The staff was named the Staff of One. A few seconds later it seemed like the women was done talking.
“That was an interesting story, but none of that matters. Your friend died because he made a mistake. You have made the same mistake he did and you are going to suffer the same fate.” Azazel said letting her black aura flare.
Ripping through the air Azazel charged straight for the women, clenching her fists. Once she was close enough she began to throw a combination of punches and kicks. All the different punches and kicks were aimed at different locations on her body. Azazel knew she had to break the womens armor. She had done it before, so it wasn’t going to be a problem doing it again.
(feel free to describe the combo as you want, how I had it pictured in my head I cant write it out. Lol)

It was interesting and even somewhat surprising that Azazel had allowed her the time to speak and power up, the woman's eagerness too initiate this fight had certainly made it possible that she would simply attack without end once they were away from the Lookout and Della had been preparing mentally for how she would deal with either situation the least ideal course of events would have been for Azazel to simply come at her swinging right out of the gate giving little chance for speaking or shifting, had events gone down that path it would have made things overall less enjoyable in her opinion as she would have had to break away from Azazel in order to shift at all and in that situation it would have been necessary to take on the basic form of her 'armor' draconic scales that would do very little to influence the flow of the battle, they would have no impact on Azazel unless the demoness possessed some unknown fear of dragons something Della had no interest in banking on.
Thankfully that was not the case, events proceeded in what was more or less the most ideal fashion that still involved herself and Azazel fighting one another immediately, Azazel had allowed her to speak to explain her motivation for why she would be coming at her with everything she had and even allowed her the time to fully transform into a Vennor, these things were not done merely on a whim nor were they done purely for the reasons she had stated. While yes the fact that it would be in some way a means of honoring her friend that she took the form of one of his people to fight Azazel was true it also was a means of attempting to influence Azazels actions in some small way, if the fight between her and Anri had allowed her any insight into how the Vennor worked it meant she would expect Della to fight as Anri did, an unyielding tank that needed to be broken open in order to do anything worthwhile. Of course it was unlikely Azazel would have a particularly firm grasp on how to fight Anri or his species, she had been so far beyond Anri that it was unlikely his plated body had done much except perhaps perplex Azael as to how he might whether even a single blow. But the fight had not ended immediately, which meant that perhaps Azazel at least had some understanding of how a Vennor worked no matter how basic and at the very least she saw some amount of how Anri specifically fought.
The plan for the moment was to see if it would be possible to exploit Azazels knowledge, to use it against her, Azazel knew as much about Jenn's and by extension Della's own fighting style as Della knew of Azazel's, attempting to impose on some level the idea that she would be fighting like Anri, a very melee oriented tank meant that perhaps she would not expect a more tricky combat style. Azazel spoke up not long after Della's preparations were complete and her words made Della roll her eyes, Anri had died because he had been outmatched in terms of power. The curious thing was the assertion that Della had made the 'same mistake' it implied that either Azazel assumed she was actively working FOR Kemuri or that the mistake was just fighting Azazel in general. Della was given no more time to think on the subject as Azazel powered up and bolted forward closing the gap between them in mere moments.
The woman came right out of the gate with an onslaught of seemingly normal physical attacks, an unyielding storm of punches and kicks with seemingly little to no effort placed into where exactly they were intended to land rather she seemed more intent on just landing as many hits as possible, Della let the first few strikes through only tensing herself in anticipation for the impacts that would follow. Attempting to avoid or resist everything the woman was throwing was both impossible and a bad tactical choice, she needed to see what Azazel was capable of, how hard she could hit and most importantly see if Azazel had any innate powers when striking with 'basic' physical attacks. As the first few blows rained down on her a few things became readily apparent, firstly that Azazel at least at present lacked any special abilities tacked onto her physical strikes, secondly the armored hide of a Vennor was truly something impressive with how much it seemed to be dampening the power of Azazels blows, and thirdly despite the resistance provided by her armored body Azazel's strikes packed an incredible amount of power. With the experiment in determining what Azazels basic attacks were capable complete Della took on a far more active defense as she began to more actively dodge and deflect Azazel's attacks until there actions began to fall into the sort of rhythm that warriors of a power such as theirs fell into, there actions would likely be little more than blurs of motion if any of the others were near enough to witness the fight.
Mounting a solid defense was all well and good but while it did the job of preventing more of Azazel's strikes from landing all it would do in the long run would be to very very slowly drain both herself and Azazel of energy while allowing Azazel opportunity to sneak in strikes when it became simply too much to defend against all of her attacks at once, what Della needed was to take the offense, to push Azazel back and see how she would react. In one of the brief moments when Azazels attacks would lull for a moment Della would shift her posture slipping out of a guarded stance as she placed both hands on the Staff of One and took a hard swing aiming to slam the golden head of the Staff into Azazel's abdomen, the fires wreathing the staff would surge with power as Della took the offensive and regardless of if the initial strike landed as intended Della would follow up with a flurry of blows on Azazel done in a very similar manner to Azazel's pattern of attack, little focus on where the strikes were supposed to land in favor of attempting to land as many as possible as Della twisted and twirled the Staff around wildly in an effort to reach more varied areas of Azazels body.

As the flurry of blows began to rain down upon the armored women. Azazel felt contact with the first few. Her hand slamming into the armor the women had covered herself with. Azazel thought it was going to break as easily as it did the last time, but there as something different. This time it was stronger, a lot stronger than before. Therefore, this time it was going to take more effort to crack it, unlike before when it took just a single punch. Suddenly the women’s fighting style changed as she began to dodge and deflect the assault coming down on her.
Azazel began to attack faster and faster. The women had no problem keeping up with her movements, Azazel knew this women was strong, but it looked like they were almost even. She doubted that anyone on the Lookout would even be able to tell what was exactly happening. Mere seconds would pass as Azazel kept assaulting the women. As Azazel brought back her left hand, the womens posture quickly changed. Before Azazel could do anything about it the head of the staff slammed into her abdomen. Azazel was sent backwards and distracted just long enough for the women to begin her own assault.
Before Azazel was able to do anything, the staff was slamming into different parts of her body. Several strikes connected with her sides, arms and legs. Bringing up her arms to begin to block the onslaught. The staff would only then slam into her arms and legs. Azazel needed to make sure to protect her chest and head from each and every attack. After a few more moments of blocking, her arms began to sting and pulse in pain. Dropping her arms to her side, Azazel started to dodge the attacks that were coming at her. It was the only way to make sure she didn’t take too much damage.
She needed to create separation between herself and the women. After a few seconds of dodging out of the way. Azazel let a strike slam into her ribs, it was at this moment that she pushed herself to the right. Going with the momentum of the swing. This was going to create the space that she needed. For as long as the women carried that staff, Azazel figured a head on assault wasn’t going to be effective. She would only end up taking more damage than her opponent.
“Well what is your plan now Azazel? This women is clearly stronger than her friend.” Lennalth asked
Azazel hadn’t quite yet figured out a plan for this women, but she wasn’t worried. Bringing her arms out, Azazel summoned up her Fire Gauntlets, they would add a little more protection if they got close again. Azazel still didn’t know exactly what to do, so instead of charging head on she took a more defensive looking posture. She needed to think of something quickly, but she also needed to know more about this women and what she can do. Maybe then she could think of a way of taking her out and then focusing on Kemuri.

Della could not help but smirk as she successfully managed to turn the tide of the battle forcing Azazel off of the offensive with a powerful strike to the demon's abdomen, it had bought Della just enough time to start lashing out at Azazel as quickly as possible, though Della had no means of being certain it appeared though that while her own effort to remain defensive in the opening of the battle had been to gauge Azazel's physical power Azazel had no interest in doing so as she more actively blocked incoming attacks, perhaps though the strike to the abdomen had been all the female demon had needed to know that active defense would be necessary and that while Della's own attacks packed a significant punch the flames of the Staff of One did not actually burn, those flames were merely a representation of the energy Della was pumping into the Staff it provided no extra powers to the weapon instead simply greatly enhancing the impact of the blows that Della did land with it. Azazel was rather smartly protecting her chest and head, the initial blow to the abdomen had likely been more than enough for her to know similar attacks landing on other more vital areas could spell a quick end to the fight, however in defense of these locations Azazel needed to block with her arms and legs brief flashes and grimaces of pain were enough to tell Della that the blows were doing there job and while making it through to somewhere vital was not going to be easy if she could damage one of those limbs protecting her enough then the battle was that much closer to victory. A few more strike landed and Azazel chose to switch up her defensive tactics switching from blocking to a focus on dodging the attacks entirely the next few moments were filled with Della's staff sweeping through air as Azazel dodged, occasionally quite narrowly away from the attacks.
Della knew that this would not last long, the fact that Azazel had dropped her arms meant she had no further plans to block attacks, that she was focusing entirely on dodging which while effective in the short term would quickly become exhausting and potentially quite hazardous if a blow DID manage to land, Della had entirely expected some new form of attack or a means of temporary retreat from Azazel and technically the second option was in fact the correct one as Della finally felt her staff make impact with the woman again nailing her square in the ribs, however unlike the initial blow that Della had used to take the offensive this one sent Azazel flying causing Della no small amount of confusion as she could clearly sense that Azazel had not lost enough power for such an attack to have such impact. But then it became clear, it was an escape tactic, once Azazel was far enough away she halted her momentum and wreathed her arms in fire, the flames quickly coalesced on her arms until finally they took the vague shape of gauntlets. Azazel had allowed herself to be hit so that she could put some distance between them, perhaps for the moment feeling outmatched in melee due to the power of the staff, the gauntlets being summoned implied that Azazel was prepared to re enter a melee conflict though, if they functioned anything like real gauntlets they would do well to protect her arms from future hits, the fact that they were made of flame meant that perhaps they might even add a bit more to Azazel's striking power.
Azazel appeared ready and waiting for Della to make the next move, floating in a defensive stance she wanted Della to come to her just as Della had challenged Azazel to do just the same when the battle first began it was a rather amusing turn of events and one that Della was not quite interested in reliving, if things progressed as they had then that meant that Della would take the offensive only for Azazel to steal it away, then it would be Dellas turn to pull back and sort out a new plan of attack. "Not quite so easy fighting an opponent who can match you is it? I wonder if you even realize how far from a real fight your conflict with Anri was, you overwhelmed him by nearly three times his power, he never really quite stood a chance against you. If i'd fought him at my full power Popo would of curse have been in the same boat, but I enjoy a good fight so I gave him a chance, he even managed to put out a few attacks that could match my restrained power." Della said with a laugh as she began to slowly circle around Azazel keeping the same distance that Azazel had put between them as she did so "But us, were equal, nearly perfectly so though I do believe I hold a ever so slight edge. That's nothing to worry about though, I'm certain it wont come into play" Della said giving Azazel a smirk, the comment was intended of course to demoralize Azazel somewhat, to put in her mind that whatever small edge of power Della did have would be why her next moves might potentially fail, to make her second guess her actions "You really should have taken your chance to ensure Kemuri's demise before starting this fight. Now if he escapes that is on your head Azazel, I was more than willing to let him be destroyed first, in fact it was my preference." another attempt to demoralize and distract the demoness, to pull her attention away from this battle and on to the events below. Della had no way of knowing if Azazel was able to sense energy as acutely as she could, if she was able then it would potentially act as a constant tug on Azazel's attention every time Kemuri neared the edge of the Lookout, but if she could not then the woman had little in the way of ability to know the goings on of the battle below, it could very well distract her quite thoroughly not knowing if Kemuri had escaped or not. All the while Della would continue circling Azazel the purple flames wreathing the Staff of One slowly ebbing away and returning to Della as the Efreeti began to power up her next attack.

Azazel floated in the air waiting for the women to strike back. But it seemed once again all she wanted to do was talk. Azazel was in no rush for this fight to end. She already knew what the outcome was going to be anyways. If this women wanted to keep talking about useless things, Azazel was going to let her speak. She began to speak of Popo again, laughing at the thought that he was able to land a few strikes against her. Azazel’s eyes narrowed at the women, her fists clenched. The fact she brought up Popo again was only making Azazel angrier. She had killed another innocent person in all of this. First it was Brandon and now it was Popo.
This women was going to meet the same fate as those two. The only difference is her death isn’t going to be quick. She then stated that their power was equal, but went on to explain that she held an edge. A secret of some kind? Azazel thought to herself. Is she holding back her true power and has she been doing so from the beginning? Well if that was the case, Azazel was going to force her into revealing this secret power. After all it will be the only way she is going to make it out of this fight alive. No one is going to stop Azazel from ending this women’s life.
The women continued to poke and prod at Azazel. Bringing up the fact that if Kemuri escapes it is going to be on her head. The fact that they were so high up in the air, made it hard for Azazel to tell if Kemuri was still even there or not. She could faintly sense power signatures on the Lookout, but was unable to tell whose was whose. This women was beginning to annoy Azazel. Between her and Lennalth talking to her, it was too much for Azazel to handle.
“Azazel you better do something about this women quickly. She is right you know. From up here there is no way of clearly telling if Kemuri is even on the Lookout anymore. You should have listened to me in the first place and got rid of Kemuri, before you attacked this women.” Lennalth said
“Stop talking.” is all Azazel was going to say to the women. This short message was meant for both Lennalth and her opponent. It was to the point. The time for talking was done. It wasn’t going to get either of them anywhere.
Turning her arms so the palms of her hands were facing the women, Azazel began to manifest two fireballs. She knew she was going to have to pick her moments to land physical strikes. As long as the women held that staff fighting hand-to-hand was going to prove useless. Continuing to manifest fire in her hands the balls grew to about the size of basketballs.
Watching the women circle around her, Azazel made sure the entire time to keep her front facing her. Quickly bringing her hands together, the two individual balls of fire combined into one. Forcing the fire from her hand, it would look like a pillar of fire was being shot from her hands heading straight for the women. If physically breaking the armor wasn’t going to work this time, then Azazel was going to burn it off.

Slowly drifting around Azazel gave Della an opportunity to properly observe the woman, get a good look at how much her transformation had effected her physical form and of course gave her a chance to observe how Azazel reacted to her words, the changes to Azazel's form were ultimately of little consequence, she had certainly changed quite a bit but nothing provided the woman with any distinct advantages that Della could see quite yet, at best the wings could perhaps prove to be some amount of a nuisance down the road but it was something Della was able to mitigate fairly easily and even replicate if need be. Her body possessed little to no actual 'armor' save for a few particular spots however these areas had all been locations that Della had hit a few times and when compared to the normal skin did not appear to be any more resistant to pain. The horns were perhaps a potential danger but any use of them would require Azazel to get quite close and as of yet it appeared that the demoness was unwilling to enter melee again.
While her transformed state prooved to be of little interest outside of the power that Azazel had gained from it what WAS interesting was Azazel's reactions to her words, she had most certainly NOT liked anything that Della had said, anger was evident from even the mere mentioning of Popo's name and the more she spoke the more annoyed Azazel appeared to grow finally culminating in the other woman finally speaking up, her words were brief and unfortunately quite boring. She demanded that Della 'stop talking' to which Della merely let out an amused chuckle as she continued to orbit around Azazel forcing the demon to adjust herself ever few moment in order to keep her eyes on her.
"Make me" Della said giving Azazel a wink and a wide grin as the woman began to move in a manner other than simply keeping herself facing Della, she brought her arms out so that her palms were facing outward and summoned forth two reasonably sized balls of fire the orbs slowly manifesting in her palms, Della's only response to this was to continue her circling as she waited for Azazel to actually do something with the fireballs which now appeared to have grown as large as Azazel could produce without pouring additional energy into them meaning that it was likely that Azazel was about to make whatever move she was planning.
Quite quickly Azazel halted herself and brought her hands back together forcing the two orbs of fire to clash with one another combining the power within each orb and causing that very energy to expel outward in the form of a pillar of flame directed at Della. The speed of the technique now that Azazel was actually launching it was quite impressive, almost enough to take Della off guard as she floated, however while it was fast enough to prevent much in the way of the attack being avoided Della possessed other means of dealing with the flames. Twirling the Staff of One around in her hand Della shifted her stance and aimed the weapon at the oncoming pillar of flame "Ulhar Shochraos" Della shouted the draconic words as she let her pent up energy flow through her body coursing through her arm and into the staff, the energy would come together at the golden head of the staff briefly causing the golden head to glow before it expelled a powerful bolt of lightning while also producing a mighty boom of thunder as the bold proceeded to tear through the pillar ripping through flame as it sought out the source of the flames, Azazel.
What remained of Azazel's attack would wash over Della as she brought up an arm to protect her face from the flames, the damage done by her lightning bolt had greatly diminished what damage the pillar was capable of doing but had not negated it entirely. The flames lashed at her causing Della to grimace in pain, thankfully her outer layer of protective bone-armor mitigated the damage even further.

Azazel saw the pillar of fire leaving her hands heading straight for the women. Her hope was to engulf the women in flames causing massive damage. Once the fire had left her hands, she began to back away from the women. Trying to create more distance between them. It wasn’t going to matter as she heard a loud boom and quickly saw a bolt of lightning rip through the pillar heading straight for her. She knew she wasn’t going to be able to get out of the way fast enough, so she began firing ki blasts at the lightning bolt trying to slow it down. Nothing was working, the bolt easily ripped through the blasts. It might have been slowed down a bit but it wasn’t enough.
Bringing her hands up the bolt of lightning would slam and explode on contact. There was no way Azazel was going to be able to hold her ground as she was shoot through the air. The bolt shot her at a downward angle. It would only take a while before she was destroying the forest that lay beneath them, after all they were very high in the air. Feeling a few threes shatter across her back, Azazel eventually stopped herself as she slammed into a large tree. The impact caused a crater to form on the trunk, as Azazel pealed herself from the tree landing on the ground. Immediately she dropped to a knee her body was writhing in pain it had been the most damage she had taken in a long time.
Slowly rising back above the trees and to what she thinks is the height of the Lookout. She couldn’t see the Lookout anymore, the immense power that was behind the blast had shot her miles away from her original position. Either the women was already on her way here or Azazel was going to have to go find her again. Before she was going to go back Azazel was going to rest in the air for a little bit. Trying to let the pain subside. Her gauntlets had shattered from the attack, her arms were burned, but they could still be used.
“Well it looks like you are going to have to figure out a new way to beat this one.” Lennalth said
As Azazel thought to herself, an idea came to her. The pain was still there, but ignoring it she shot through the air. Spending a lot of time in the near the Lookout with Alexandria, she knew exactly where she was and where the Lookout was. Azazel was going to use the lookout to defeat this women. For some reason the Lookout must have been important to the women otherwise she wouldn’t have followed Azazel into the air. Coming to a hault, she could barely see the Lookout in the distance. This is where Azazel would begin to build energy in her hands.
“What are you doing? You do know that is the lookout that you are aiming at?” Lennalth asked
Azazel ignored the spirit, she knew exactly what she was doing. Either this women was going to stop her or the amount of power that was going to be behind this attack would take out Kemuri and end this all. She was hoping for the women to get in the way if that place meant that much to her, then she would. It may look like Azazel was aiming directly at the Lookout, but in fact she knew what she was going to to id the women decided not to get in the way. The beam would merely be aimed above it and travel overhead of everyone there. Now Azazel would wait.

Reeling back as the flames finally began to die down around her Della reached out with her energy sense, searching for where exactly Azazel was at the moment, her signature had been moving slowly away as the lightning bolt proved all but immune to the efforts she had made to halt it and unfortunately Della had more or less lost Azazel once the flames passed over her and the bolt made impact. Extending her search Della smirked as she felt the staggered power of Azazel, already her strength was returning but the bolt had done quite a number on the demon. Amusingly the angle that Azazel had been blasted in ended up sending her down to the ground level, back to the Earth itself in the forests that surrounded the lookout, the very same forest that she had faced Popo in and where the genie was likely still recovering from there fight. Truthfully Della was not entirely sure if Popo had remained conscious or not after she had delivered the last hit, he had certainly done a stellar job of reducing his power before she had made impact as per her order but that could have also been aided by him truly being knocked out by her attack.
Ultimately Popo's status mattered little, if they got close enough to him she would likely be able to pick his signature out as during there fight it had been easy enough to become familiar with his signature. Floating down Della continued to survey the area, the bolt had carried Azazel quite far though rather quickly it became obvious that while Azazel had been down she was most certainly not out, within a few moments of Della casually floating down Azazel's energy signature flared back into action as she burst back into the sky quickly returning to proper visual range. Della smirked as the woman drew closer seeing the look of fury, she had most certainly not expected this fight to go down in this manner, her fight with Anri had given her so much confidence in her new power. Della had experienced a similar sensation after obtaining her own boost in power, it had taken most of the night and a bit of planning on how she would test her new power to actually get her mind sorted out, Azazel clearly had not accomplished this yet and it would perhaps be the woman's downfall, certainly Della had every intention of leverage this against her.
Looking over the demoness Della noted the lack of gauntlets now, in there place were rather painful looking burn marks, some bearing the vague outline of the design of the gauntlet. "She had to have blocked the bolt with the gauntlets, it probably saved her a great deal of additional harm." Jenn chimed in her voice thoughtful as she analyzed the battle through Della's eyes. "Probably, it might be worthwhile to see just how bad her arms are now." Della muttered far too low for anyone but herself to hear but of course her words were only meant for 'herself' "Just remember Della she is not our enemy. We-" "I know Jenn, I do not plan to kill her. I just want to enjoy the fight and show her a bit of what Anri probably had to go through" Della muttered receiving no further objection from Jenn, as much as her other half worried about the situation Della knew Jenn also wanted on some level a bit of vengeance for Anri though of course not at the expense of the life of one of the Earths protectors.
Della could see Azazel building up energy in her hands and smirked to herself wondering what new trick the demoness had planned now, hopefully something more creative than just another flame blast, what exactly Azazel was doing in terms of what that energy wold produce quickly became far less relevent as it became more and more obvious that Azazel was not in fact aiming at Della, her hands were raised far too high for that a brief glance told Della where the demon was aiming and it shifted her somewhat playful and inquisitive expression into a very cold and focused glare aimed squarely on Azazel.
"I do hope for your sake that you are just suffering from vision problems after that blast Azael. Because right now It looks like you are aiming an attack on the Lookout, not exactly the actions of a defender of the Earth, I am not quite sure if we have the power to take out the Lookout quite yet, it os about one of the most mystical structures on the planet or at least it was in my time. But if you CAN then I hope you realize that you attacking the Lookout does a lot more than just damaging or destroying my home, you might be killing multiple innocent lives, good people, I can feel them up there, I doubt you can from what I have noticed so far. Sure Kemuri is there and him dieing is something I am all for, but Kaladar is up there as well, the boy who fought Kemuri alone while you busied yourself with killing Anri and attacking me, not even fully grown yet and he had the sense to stand against Kemuri. Carla is up there as well, unconscious, she could not even run if she DID know what you were aiming to do, and then there is another... I do not know who this one is but... " Della paused as she got a read on the new signature, she had paid the events on the lookout so little mind save for keeping track of Kemuri that it had almost gone unnoticed. "Whoever the newcomer is has a power on par with us, interesting. I do hope he's on the right side of this whole debacle then." Della said with a sigh "This has all been rather fun but you have just gone and ruined it by taking this foolish line of action, so I'll tell you something that might catch your attention, make you point that blast back at me so that you can figure out if I'm being truthful."
Della said as she too began to build up energy on the off chance that Azazel decided to go through with whatever foolish plan she had that involved aiming an attack at the Lookout "Your fury is rather squarely based on my having killed two of your allies, I admit to killing the idiot Brandon, but really he should have never even been allowed near the Lookout, he was a threat to a girl under my protection, a child so innocent she has only ever seen positive in nearly all things no matter how fearsome, she has only shown fear or distrust of two things, the organization that took her father, and that fool. He came very near her by coming to the castle, I warned him to stay away and I keep to my warnings. And as for Popo" Della chuckled to herself "I do not believe I ever actually said he was dead you have all simply made wild assumptions. You Azazel are just so overwhelmed by your new power that you think it makes you judge jury and executioner. But you have done a rather poor job of all of those rolls. I have made it quite clear that I am staunchly against Kemuri, so with that in mind why would I kill one of Kemuri's enemies? I certainly thought about it, I had my own personal gripes with him. But I got over it, I did what was best for the Earth and set aside misguided rage so that the world would have a better chance at avoiding Kemuri being in control."
"Now while I am quite certain you will be a smart girl and stop aiming at the Lookout I do have to warn you. If you so much as appear to be THINKING about attacking the Lookout or anyone short of Kemuri or perhaps the new arrival if it proves to be a threat... It would be easy to say that I'd just kill you, but that wont be the case. I have far worse ways to punish someone willing to do what you appear to be planning to do, and death would be a gift in comparison" Della said her eyes narrowing as they took on an unearthly purple glow as energy surged throughout Della's body.

It didn’t take long for the women to find Azazel’s location, and its not like Azazel was trying to hide. She began to speak, questioning Azazel’s intention. If she only knew her true intent then she would understand. Even if Azazel let the attack go at the Lookout, it would miss, Azazel was never going to put the lives of the people in danger. Even if it would mean getting rid of Kemuri. The one thing that did interest Azazel, was the women calling the Lookout her home. Azazel knew this place was special to that women, but she didn’t know it was her home.
As far as Azazel knew, it was where Kami and Popo lived and that was it. Either way, for someone to used to take residence there, it is interesting to see her side with Kemuri in all of this. While the women was taking, Azazel continued to charge energy between her hands, and keep a smile on her face. She went on and listed all the people that would die if Azazel were to attack the Lookout. Hearing this just made Azazel keep her smile. That was until she mentioned killing two of her allies. Even though Azazel wouldn’t have classified them as allies their lives didn’t needed to be ended by this women. As for her rage, there was a lot more to it than her just killing Brandon and Mr. Popo.
She explained her reasoning for killing Brandon. There was apparently a girl under her protection. As the women went on to talk about the girl, it sounded like Vixi. It was at this moment Azazel’s eyes turned their attention to the women. This is when she continued on saying that she never said that she had actually killed Popo. If that were the case, he would have made his way back to the Lookout before their little fight even happened. When she said she was against Kemuri that is when Azazel stopped listening to her and waited for her to stop talking.
“If you are truly against Kemuri you would have killed him before any of this even happened. You obviously have had your power before his invasion of your home even happened. I do not know what your true intentions are and I do not care. But the fact of the matter is, you made the choice not to fight against Kemuri, or at least end his reign before it got to far.” Azazel took a brief pause as she poured more energy between her hands. “Perhaps if you had taken on Kemuri earlier, then your friend would still be alive. In fact none of this would have happened if you had done something the moment you gained your power.”
At least that is the way Azazel saw it, they both obviously had their view on the situation. Before Azazel was going to do anything there was something she had to know. “You said you had a child under your protection earlier is that correct?” Azazel didn’t need an answer to the question, she was just restating something the women had said only seconds earlier. “Because the way you described the child reminds e of someone I meet before any of this started. If it is then I am sure she wouldn’t like the way either of us are acting at this current moment. With that said I don’t think the child I have been looking after would like what I am doing either. Just so I am clear you are talking about the girl with the fox ears right, I believe her name was Vixi.” Azazel said looking at the women.

It was rather rare to get an opportunity to build up this much energy and at the moment there was no ready sign that it would need to be expended quite yet, Azazel was surprisingly content to listen as she spoke and seemed ready to retort once Della gave her the opportunity, however of course the major point of frustration for Della was that no matter what she said Azazel's aim remained trained on the Lookout and by extension all the people still on it, she'd warned the woman about what would happen if that threat remained but while he aim remained trained on the Lookout Azazel's attention was diverted to Della which was at the very least a start.
Della had hoped that the woman would come to her senses as she spoke but with every word all the woman did manage to do was confound Della with how little she appeared to know about the situation. Had the transformation that Azazel had undergone also effected the woman's memory? She had been there when Kemuri had taken the ring and... Della blinked to herself a few times as she realized why it was that Azazel might not realize why it was that she was an enemy of Kemuri and yet also apparently working for him. "Azazel, I believe I may have figured out the root of out problem and why you appear so incapable of understanding my present situation. While the situation my being is a bit more complicated than this it is most simple for me to say this, I am Mahajenn the same woman whom you fought Kemuri with when he first took hold of the Earth. If you remember correctly Kemuri produced a ring that inhibited Mah- my.." Della visibly strained herself to refer to herself as Jenn "ability to act, I am a genie, a being capable of granting wishes and the being the holds my ring is capable of requiring me to grant said wishes, however it is more than that, I am incapable of killing my 'master' whom in this unfortunate scenario is Kemuri. I have since done everything in my power to ensure that Kemuri is incapable of using my power, the mind of Mahajenn is split into two beings, Mahajenn herself, and Dellashano, which is the name that I have taken. Mahajenn is beholden to Kemuri's commands as per his second wish, but I Dellashano am not, which inhibits him from forcing me to act against my will. On top of that as he can no longer command me I have taken forms other than my natural genie shape, while I am in a form other than that of a genie I am incapable of granting any of his further wishes." Della said letting out a drawn out sigh, the last thing she had expected out of this fight was an explanation of her situation but Azazel's foolish actions were now necessitating it, this was no longer simply a fight between them, Azazel was putting others at risk, putting her home at risk.
"If I COULD have harmed Kemuri I would have, he would not have lasted even a moment after I gained this power, Anri would have posed me no danger and the castle walls would have been no more useful against my fury than wet paper. This all would have been quite easily solved if I was capable of acting against him, however such direct action was not possible. He knows I'm quite capable of ignoring his commands now, I have made that plainly obvious but what he does not know is that I cannot kill him. I could theoretically rough him up a bit but nothing life threatening. That is why I wanted YOU to deal with him when we had the chance, he had no means of escape and you let your blind fury get in the way of something far more important." Della snapped at the woman having grown quite annoyed by the accusation that she had not done all that she could have done. Without any provocation Della's expression suddenly wrenched into a look of someone disturbed by a sudden realization, this was because Della had in fact just had one such realization, she'd just spent the last few moments thinking of Jenn's actions as if they were her own, the events in the castle prior to her takeover were all Jenn's actions, never had she made such an error before, it had always been very clear in her mind what was her and what was Jenn. "Calm down Della, now is not the time to worry about this, the others need us focused." Jenn chimed in causing Della to grit her teeth, it was easy enough for her to say that.
Della was pulled from her thoughts as Azazel referenced the 'girl under her protection' anything in reference to Vixi was enough to garner her immediate attention and Della could even tell it had grabbed Jenn's as well, Azazel went on to mention that she had known a girl similar to what she had described, then went on to describe her as the 'girl with fox ears' and then to even call her by name. Any worry Della had had about her mental slip-up vanished immediately Azazel not only knew Vixi but had evidently spent enough time to consider herself 'looking after' her "Yes, her name is Vixi. Ever excitable, full of life and energy, trusting to a fault. And yes she would be quite displeased with your threats on the Lookout and our fight in general, she is not much pleased with fighting at all to such an extent that teaching her the means to protect herself from idiots such as that fool was a task that took a few days in and of itself, and before you say it yes she would be quite displeased with how I dealt with Brandon. But I take threats to my family quite seriously, I've lost far too many to let a dangerous fool with too much power put what little I have built in this time at risk. "

As Azazel still continued to charge energy between her hands, her attention was still focused on the women. Azazel was still waiting for a response from her, wondering if the girl she was referring to was in fact vixi. It would seem that before Azazel would get the answer to her question. The women would begin to speak once again except this time her words didn’t make sense. The women told Azazel that she was Mahajenn, the women that had fought alongside Azazel when this all started. A look of confusion came across Azazel’s face. She went on to explain that while in her current form she could disobey direct commands from Kemuri, even though he had her ring.
Azazel couldn’t tell if the women was lying or telling her the truth. Why would she now tell her that she was Mahajenn why not tell her sooner. If in fact she was telling the truth and she was who she says she was. Azazel didn’t know if she wanted to take the chance and believe what she was saying. she had arrived with Kemuri, so in Azazels mind she was the enemy and she needed to be dealt with. As she continued to speak, Azazel could hear a change in the sound of her voice. It looked like her comments about not stopping Kemuri before got to her as she explained the exact reason as to why she couldn’t do anything about it.
“Sounds to me like she is coming up with a lot of excuses as to why she did nothing to stop Kemuri. I don’t think you should believe anything that this women is saying. Trust me this time Azazel, all this women is doing is lying to you.” Lennalth explained
Azazel didn’t answer Lennalth, but what she said could also be right. Azazel didn’t know who to trust in this situation. Even though she was contemplating what her next move was going to be, she didn’t stop charging energy. As she continued to pour black ki in between her hands, it was starting to get harder to control. She has never focused this much ki into a single attack before, so it wasn’t a surprise to her that it was getting hard to control. It was only a matter of time before she was going to have to release all of this energy, but her actual target was still undecided.
As Azazel put her attention back on the women, she finally answered her question. It was indeed Vixi, that she was talking about just minutes before. Azazel couldn’t help herself but smile, that out of everyone that is in Central City, they both had meet and interacted with Vixi. And what she said was true ,the fox eared girl wouldn’t appreciate how things have played out.
“So do you expect me to believe that you are Mahajenn? That you have tried everything that you could to stop Kemuri? And that you wanted ME to deal with Kemuri but my blind furry got in the way. It shouldn't come to as surprise that i don't believe that you are Mahajenn. From waht i have seen you show no resemblance to her at all. There is nothing about you that reminds reminds me of her. So again, it is hard to believe someone who arrived on teh Lookout with Kemuri.” Azazel said looking straight into Dela’s eyes. “To be honest I don’t know if I can believe anything that you are saying. What I can believe is that you showed up on the Lookout with Kemuri and your friend. You have killed at least one person that stood no threat to you. I beat Brandon in a fight before I even attained this power. He was no threat to you or Vixi so don’t tell me that he was threatening your “family”.” Azael snapped at Della, while still pouring more energy into her hands.
“Exactly” Lennalth said
“If you have truly lost as much as you say you have I feel sorry for you. But there was no need to take the lives of two people. Especially people that were of no threat to you or anyone that was under your protection. My actions will be clear soon enough, so if you wish to continue talking then maybe, just maybe I will reconsider.” Azazel said still looking at Della. All she was doing was buying Kami some time to deal with Kemuri himself. Once that was done there was no doubt all of them would be drawn to their location.

While Azazel's aim remained firmly upon the lookout Della found herself able to restrain herself through the fact that she had the other woman's attention, she at least seemed quite willing to talk and listen rather than pusing the fight any further than it had already gone, perhaps a good sign that Azazel was not as blindly foolish as she appeared and that she did not have nearly as much intention of attacking the Lookout as she was presenting. If the woman DID want to use it as leveredge then surely she would have done so already rather than idly bantering with Della.
The woman remained frustraitingly silent for a few moments, perhaps debateing on whether or not she should believe Della, Della knew it was perhaps a difficult concept to believe at least in regards to her situation with Jenn. As Azael spoke up however Della once again grew frustraited with the woman, how did she even expect her to proove that she was Mahajenn, they had met for only a brief time and in that short time had barely spoke to one another, they held no history beyond the fight with Kemuri and neither she, nor Della possesed any means of sharing memories.
"I show no resembelence because we can change our shape with relative ease but ultimately it seems pointless to bother trying to get you to see the truth, you dont WANT to believe that I might not be an enemy because then it makes things so much more complicated for you, it means you WERE wrong to attack me blindly just moments after I informed Kemuri that he no longer possesed the ability to control my actions." Della said with an almost amused shake of the head, if the demoness had only payed attention to what was going on this would have all been made much more simple, but ultimately it seemed that it did not much matter what Azazel had done.
"But don't worry, it does not matter any longer whether or not you believe me, while you certainly made things far more difficult than entirely necessary the end result is the same." She could feel the energy signatures spiking around the Lookout, despite the overwhelming odds it seemed as though the human boy she had healed was returning to his fight with Kemuri, but while the movements of the boy and Kemuri indicated they expected to square off again that was swiftly cut off as Della felt the new more powerful energy signature appear behind the Hyena shortly followed by a steep decline in power output from the Hyena.
Every second the vile beast's strength ebbed away until it became quite clear that there was simply nothing else left to depart, the hyena was dead. "Kemuri has been dealt with, since I wager your ability to sense energy is underdeveloped I figure it best to inform you of this. It was done by another being, someone who's energy I am unfamiliar with and much to my surprise rivals our own. If he's an enemy of Kemuri though I imagine he's not a threat to Earth." Della said a small grin of satisfaction spreading across her lips "That means it's time you take your aim off the Lookout, because now you do not have the ability to claim your actions are to ensure his demise. Now you are just threatening innocents, so now I give you the last warning Azazel. Your aim, lower it. Now." Della's brief look of joy and satisfaction quickly shifted back into serious determination, with the Hyena dead there was no reason for the demoness lacked any form of moral high ground for threatening the Lookout. Now Della would get to see the womans true colors.

Azazel listened as the women began to explain the reason she showed no resemblance to Jenn. Stating that she can change her shape with relative ease. Azazel knew this already, as she saw her take the change to look similar to how Anri looked. Then she went on a tangent. Stating that Azazel doesn’t want to belive that she isn’t an enemy. That it was wrong for Azazel to attack her blindly. Once again all Azazel could do was smile at the women. Azazel didn’t need to explain her actions to this women, and no matter what the women shouted she wasn’t going to get a real answer.
Azazel continued to listen and she was glad that she did. For seconds later the women would tell her that Kemuri had been dealt with. She stated that it was done by another being whose energy felt unfamiliar to her. Azazel was glad to hear that monster had been taken care of, but there was still once person left in this little battle. The women was the last piece, the past person that needed to fall. Azazel had dragged her away to make sure that she wouldn’t interfere with Kemuri’s death.
“You hear that Azazel Kemuri is dead, now all of this madness can stop and we can move on. I suggest we leave this area fast before who ever it was that killed Kemuri make their way over to us.” Lennalth explained
“No Lennalth, as long as that women still breaths this fight isn’t over. She is still one of Kemuris people and I will not let her get away. Especially after what she has done to Brandon and Mr. Popo. They will be avenged, I have made that promise.”[/colot][/i]
Azazel could hear Lennalth shouting in her head, but was just ignoring the spirit. Azazel was going to finish this. The ki that she had been charging up was always meant for the women, she just needed to wait to for Kemuri to be dealt with. Now that it has finally happened, it was time to release everything. The women had the same armor that her friend Anri had, and it was beaten with one single attack. Only this time Azazel made sure to make that attack stronger than before, strong enough to take this women out.
The women wanted Azazel change her aim from the lookout, that all she was doing now was putting innocent lives in danger. With a quick turn Azazel shifted her body, now completely facing the women. “The only person that is in danger here is you, this ends now. This was never meant for the Lookout.” Azazel shouted as she shot her hands forward releasing all the energy that had been building up over the short time. As the beam shot from between her hands, she was pushed back slightly, quickly forcing herself to stop before she got too far away from the women.
Azazel could feel that the women was charging up ki of her own, and she was interested to see what she was going to do with it. She better use it fast or else be consumed like her friend was. Azazel wondered how long she was going to last inside the beam, her friend only lasted a little bit. With the amount of ki that she charged, Azazel wondered if the women would even feel anything.

The air between herself and Azael was thick with a mix of tension and the buildup of energy as they both prepared for the inevitable conflict, no matter what Azazel's intentions with her built up energy were Della knew full well she could stop her, unless the demonic woman possessed some means of making her next attack move instantaneously from here to her intended target be it the Lookout or Della herself Della could counter it. The other woman remained eerily silent, only showing that she was actually listening when Della spoke by the expression on her face. Amusement. What exactly Azazel found so amusing was beyond Della and ultimately it was irrelevant, what was necessary was for this all to end, the longer they delayed action the more power they would build up and inevitably that power would need to be unleashed somehow. In all of her many years Della had never charged up this much energy for a single attack, in truth she was unsure if anything she had done even over multiple uses of her power combined could compare to what this blast could do. While her ability to grant wishes was 'nearly' limitless the things it was capable of accomplishing generally were not extreme uses of energy, they were far more just obscure uses of energy things that could not be easily accomplished by even the most expert mystics. All of her wishes to date combined likely paled in comparison to what this attack would be capable of this was perhaps comparable to what a wish for destruction would produce if she could grant such a thing. Della tensed as quite suddenly Azazel's posture shifted, no longer was she merely turning her head to look at her no instead her entire body shifted and her aim finally left the Lookout to fall squarely upon Della, her words were quick and to the point and Azazel's true intentions were made quite clear, she had not actually planned to attack the Lookout. Instead she seemed to have been using the threat as a distraction so that she could build up her attack. But it seemed that overconfidence was blinding the demoness yet again, while her own efforts to bring forth her inner power were less overt than Azazel's Della had nonetheless been doing just as Azazel had, powering up a single powerful attack. Unlike Azazel's last attempt at an energy attack this one took on the form of regular energy, no pretense of pretty fire, just raw energy looking to consume anything in its wake. In an instant the Staff of One was once again in Della's hands her energy coursing through it as easily as it coursed through her arms, Azazels blast approached quickly VERY quickly, but Della had been prepared to counteract such an attack, Della thrust the Staff of One forward shouting incomprehensible words as her energy flared all around her through the staff and into the space between herself and Azazel. Just a few feet in front of Della a massive circle of purple energy formed and within it formed a spider web of intricately formed runes thousands upon thousands forming in an instance at her command, the runes weaved for Della a spell one granted to her by Astos when she had reached further into the Staff of One than any before. As Azazels blast of energy drew nearer and nearer to the runic circle it finally took full form, the last rune at it's center, the largest that declared the intention of the entire web of mystical runes. The rune for destruction, and as the rune formed it began to emit an intense purple glow as it took from Della all of the built up power and focused it unleashing a blast of energy much like Azazel's. The two mighty blasts of energy would quickly connect pushing against one another as their creators attempted to overtake one another, for a brief amount of time after it's creation Della found herself able to push back Azazel's attack causing the meeting point of the two blasts away from herself and to what was likely an even distance between herself and Azazel however it became quite apparent that pushing it any further would take more energy than she could provide at the moment. {Launching Runic Blast at 2,982,534 PL after 3 posts of charging, let the beam struggle begin!}
