It wasn't long after he left Bran's place that he had decided to go investigate that source of power he found while he was returning to the planet, he had memorized the location of where it came from and was headed there this moment. He wasn't sure what to expect when he got there, however, and was only hoping that he would be greeted with someone friendly. With the help of his aerokinetic abilities as well, it didn't take him long to reach the strange floating island that was in the middle of the sky. The first thing that he did was take a look out over the edge, and it was like he could see the entire world from this one spot, and the truth of it was that the sight was breathtaking. He always thought the Earth was the most beautiful planet he had seen and this just reaffirmed that belief for him, he could stand here for days just enjoying the view.
"Man, whoever lives here is one of the luckiest people," he spoke aloud, before finally taking his eyes away from the scenery below to look around more at what was up here. For the most part it seemed just like a barren, flat surface save for a few palm trees lined up and the house that they seemed to lead toward. Maybe that was where whoever lived here was, and immediately began to walk towards the structure. It seemed more like what one would expect from a palace rather than a house though, which made him even more curious as to who was up here. He didn't want to get too close to the house though in case someone was watching him and was ready to attack the potential intruder on their little island.
"Hello? Is anyone there?" he called out, waiting to see if there would be an answer. Taking a seat on the ground he figured it might be a bit more comforting for the person to see that he wasn't trying to start any trouble. While he waited he took in the area around here, feeling the breeze blow across his face and through his hair, it was a familiar feeling that he had missed and he grinned, finally feeling like he was home. (Blarg, horrible starting post)

Deeper within the lookout, Saito and his two training partners had been hard at work, though for now they took a break. Saito sat munching on a small piece of toast. It was all his stomach could handle after such vigorous training. He spent most of his days atop the lookout. His lungs had finally adjusted to the climate and with all that Kami Kaladar had to teach it was imperative that he train often. Other than Kami and Popo, Saito was easily the most resident person atop the lookout. Brandon had gone off on another of his shinanigans, and Carla had yet to return. Probably for the better, she was less than welcome in Saito's line of site. Kami was likely more forgiving, but Saito hadn't the time to deal in children.
"All i'm saying is that if you really wanted to, Mr. Popo, I have a number of Sisters whom are always looking for more exotic men. What is more exotic than a Genie?"
He said jokingly. Saito had grown very close to the genie and their time together had not been wasted. He was slowly learning everything Popo and Kaladar had to teach. His powerlevel grew each day from their instruction and within the year he expected to learn all of the hidden techniques of the crane. He was nearly finished with his training for the Kikoho and looked forward to starting on the Tayoken when finished. Finishing the last bite of dry toast, and taking a sip of water to wash it down, the group immediately sensed the incoming energy. It was difficult to mask ones power when flying, and because it was unknown to Saito, his red flags instantly rose. His heart beat quickened, which obviously set off Mr. Popo who seemingly gave a much less concerned smile to Saito, assuring him that there was no threat on the lookout.
"Finish your resting Kaladar, Popo. I would have you both in peak condition to fight in the coming hour!"
Though they trained often, and nonstop, Saito continued to show his resilience. He certainly needed the rest far more than Popo or Kaladar did, but he worried still for them. Kaladar after all was older than the Crane Master, and his own abilities, though sharp and strong than Saito's, would only last him for so long. There was no reason for anyone to push forward, and Saito took genuine interest in the happenings of the lookout. He rose from his seat and made his way carefully up the steps. By the time he was halfway up the voice spoke out, inquiring to their presence. Surely Kami could follow right behind him, but if he did not Saito would gladly greet the guest.
"I'm afraid anyone is unavailable. Will someone do?"
Saito replied as he hit the doorway. The warrior was shirtless, revealing his notable scars from the battle with Kemuri. His eyepatch was a deep black that absorbed the light around it and casting a shadow over the left side of Saito's face. He did look rather menacing, however his tone was anything but. He had started with a joke, undoubtedly a sign of his humerous mood. The warrior didn't do jokes well, so it was likely not nearly as funny to the traveler as it had been to Kit. He took a few steps forward until there was only a short distance between the two of them, and he spoke once more.
"What brings you so far from ground stranger?"

The waiting wasn't so bad it gave him plenty of time to enjoy himself with the scenery, it was one of the few things that could truly let him relax and feel free. It was what made him especially glad that he had been born on Earth, with so many different kinds of scenery that could be seen, but it seemed that his time to enjoy it all wouldn't be too long. Someone had come from the entrance to the building and made a joke about anyone not being available, a smirk crossed his lips at that. Turning to see who it was, the sight before him seemed to be what most people might consider an intimidating person, but for him there was no getting intimidated anymore. With his attention focused more now, he could sense extra power levels and wondered if it was just their collective presence that brought him here, somehow he doubted it, but he wasn't too concerned with things right now.
"Someone will do just fine," he spoke with a friendly tone, not one to start any trouble for no reason, the man put the effort to make a joke so he should at least be kind to him. Pushing himself up from the ground he walked towards the blond male and extended one of his cybernetic arms in offering a handshake to him, hoping that he wouldn't see it was any kind of aggressive gesture. Conri himself was wearing a sleeveless vest that didn't restrict him too much, the downside was that it revealed that both of his arms were completely artificial at this point, and a number of his own scars that he had recently received, including a few patches of burnt skin. His own appearance was the exact opposite though, instead of being intimidating his appearance was that of someone who clearly was friendly, despite the mechanical appendages. If one were to look closely enough as well, one might notice the tail wrapped around his waist as if it were a belt.
"Name's Conri Lane, who might you be?" a genuine smile showing, he enjoyed meeting people especially if they were potentially new friends. It was how he viewed most people, strangers that he just hadn't become friends with yet, even if it was generally not a smart thing to do. The man then asked what it was that brought him to this little island in the sky, which he supposed was natural to ask since not many people would be able to sense this place let alone reach it. Although it was probably good that he had his weighted clothes on as his full power might make people a little more leery about him.
"I just sensed that there was a power up here and decided to see what it was, but then I got captivated by the beautiful scenery," he grinned turning back towards the trees and moving towards edge once more to look below at the planet. This was his home and it was such an amazing place, looking down at it though the image of the planet he had been on entering the stages of death it sent a shiver down his spine. He never wanted that to happen to the Earth, and he would do everything in his power to make sure that it never did happen. The more he stared at the planet, the more he felt at peace and took a seat at the edge.
"Is this your place? If so, you must feel very lucky to be able to see this everyday," his tone was sincere, if he could see this everyday, he doubt he would have many worries. (Sorry it's late, was making sure I had a proper response)

Mr. Popo and Kaladar were standing outside the building in the center of the Lookout. They had just finished another training session with Saito and they were now taking a short rest. As the two were talking to each other, they both noticed a new power source find its way to the top of the Lookout. A power signature that was stronger than anything they have felt before. Turning towards the location they saw that Saito was already talking to the newcomer.
“You know who that is don’t you Kami?” Popo asked
“That is the Galactic Tournament Champion Conri Lane. I wonder what he is doing up here. I think it is fair to say that almost everyone knows who he is. I think I am going to go over there and introduce myself.” Kaladar said making his way over to Saito and Conri.
Making his way over to Conri, Kaladar caught the end of their conversation. “No it isn’t his place, it is mine. I live here along with my friend. It is good to meet you Conri. My name is Kaladar Lox, I am the guardian of Earth.” Kaladar said
Kaladar looked around taking in the gorgeous scenery that he had the pleasure of seeing every single day. HE would give Conri time to formally introduce himself. Kaladar was interested to hear the reason as to why he was on the Lookout. It isn’t everyday that the galactic champion stumbles acros your home.
(sorry for it being so short)

"I am quite fortunate stranger, but this is..."
Kaladar cut in. The guardian had followed Saito up and was quick to introduce himself. Saito was endlessly impressed by Kaladar's ability to know just about anyone with whom he spoke. Conri had but spoken his name and now Kaladar responded as though he had known the man all his life. Saito took the opportunity to look at the visitor, who had risen his hand for a shake. Kit was never one to deny such a courtesy and reached out for a firm grasp. It was obvious upon first touch that this was not a regular hand, and although he hadn't even experienced the loss of a limb he could tell this was the result of that. He shook it from his mind, obviously the man was wearing some type of glove or under shirt that simply looked like skin. He shook his hand and looked over the variety of scars and burns that Conri had to offer. The juxtaposition of these two men was undeniably similar. Even down to the strange colored hair. Though Saito identified with blond, he had been told before his hair was far closer to the actual color of yellow.
"I am called Saito Kito. I train atop the lookout with Kaladar often."
He replied, taking a step back so that Kaladar could begin conversation with the stranger. Saito had come out in curiousity, though the conversation was not his to monopolize. This fighter was clearly advanced in his abilities. Although his power was suppressed, Kit could feel its potential humming within his chest. As if the aura were locked away and begging for release. Saito too had been feeling this aura, but within himself. He had yet to learn to use such an energy and wondered if Conri had figured it out yet. His pondering led to another question, how now did this human come to possess a tail. It was important to note that Saito had never officially met another Saiyan. This encounter would be his first. The birds which always came to greet Saito when he entered the top of the lookout had come now to bond with the stranger, a phenominon Kit had never seen before. The birds were usually quite attached to the blond, yet today they found comfort in the strangers presence. Perhaps they knew something Saito did not. His connection with the lookout was undeniable.
He wanted to ask additional questions, though it seemed inappropriate now. Kaladar would handle the conversation and Saito would watch intently. He had no reason to feel threatened by this man. His gestures and expressions felt genuine as did his words. Though Saito had been quick to trust before, and in so been quick to suffer the consequences. He was a different man than the one whom had faced Kemuri.

The arms had been designed to be less sensitive to things, but there was still enough feeling for him when the young man shook his hand, he was glad that he was a friendly person as well. Although as he was trying to answer the question the one who did own this island in the sky stepped forwards and introduced himself while also mentioning Conri's name in that same sentence. Thinking on that for a moment, he remembered that he was technically the galactic champion and that the fights had been displayed all around the universe for people to see. Then the young man had introduced himself as Saito Kito and stated that he trained here with the man named Kalador Lox, the name being incredibly familiar for some reason. Thinking about if for a moment he realized just who it was that he was being introduced to in both senses, as he just realized the title Kalador had used to introduce himself as well. He had thought such a thing to be a myth though with the stories of it and yet here he was meeting the very thing in person.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Kalador Lox a legendary person, I didn't think I would get to meet you in my lifetime. As well as the Guardian of Earth, I thought that was just a myth, and yet here stands the person right in front of me, I can't say it's not a fitting title for you. As I'm sure you know, I am Conri Lane and though my title doesn't compare to yours I am the Champion of the Galactic Tournament."
It was such an amazing surprise to meet such a historical figure, he learned about both sides of his genetics and learned about the events surrounding the President of Earth as well as Kalador Lox. The fact that he had gone off on his own and saved hundreds of lives during the battle against Vector, it was an incredible feat that Conri could not help but be impressed with. Most generally looked to those that took lives or defeated a great enemy, but to him being able to save the lives of others was a much more amazing thing. His focus was distracted for a moment as he noticed that the birds had started to gather around him a bit, and unraveling his tail he offered it as a perch to them. The distraction was enough for him to calm down a bit after meeting a historical and legendary figure of Earth. The fact that this was his place as well was rather fascinating knowledge as well, as this would be an amazing place to live in his mind.
"Then I guess you would be the lucky one getting to see this view all the time," he grinned happily. Although, with this meeting a thought did pop up in his head, he wanted to wait a bit before bringing it up however. He didn't want to seem rude towards Kalador or Saito since they had been so nice to him, extending his hand towards Kalador he offered him a handshake as well. If there was one thing that could be said about him, he took to making friends with people quickly, at least in terms of attempting to befriend others. Whether they wanted to be friends was generally another story. He then realized something that hadn't clicked until right now.
"I'd also like to apologize if I interrupted something important, it wasn't my intention to do so," he'd hate to think he bothered them while they were in the middle of training or something similar.

As Kaladar waited for Conri to formerly introduce himself, he took the time to look around the Lookout. Trying to see if there was any areas that needed touching up after the recent events that have taken place. Between Popo and himself, they have repaired most of the Lookout, but there is still a little bit of work to do. He listened as Saito explained his reason for being up here. Stating that the two of them have trained together often. Moments later Conri would begin to speak, Kaladar turned his body back to face the blue haired man. Conri spoke about how it was a pleasure that he was able to meet Kaladar in person.
Also stating that he thought the Guardian of Earth was just a myth. This comment brought a smile to Kaladar’s face. It is true that some people believe him to only be a myth. That no one lives up here, and it has been empty for a very long time. This is what Kaladar wanted, this meant to him that he was doing his job in protecting Earth from outside danger. He did not need the people of Earth to believe he was there. It did not matter to him either way. He found solace in remaining hidden from most of the planet, minus a few people of course.
The blue haired man introduced himself as Conri Lane, the Galactic Tournament Champion. This Kaladar already knew of course. Kaladar noticed, as well as Conri, that the birds seemed to be gathering around him. This is when the newcomer unraveled his tail, offering it as a sort of pirch for them. It has been a long time since Kaladar has seen a Saiyan atop his Lookout, but they were welcome just like everyone else.
Conri continued to speak, stating that Kaladar was the lucky one being able to look at this view every day. “I do enjoy looking out onto the planet and seeing the true beauty this place has to offer. After all I protect this planet.” Kaladar said. When Conri’s hand extended out, it would be meet by Kaladar’s. Shacking the Champions hand, it was a privilege after watching him fight in the tournament.
“Don’t be foolish Conri you weren’t interrupting anything. A matter of fact we had just finished a training session before you arrived. Let me just say I didn’t think I would be talking to the Galactic Tournament Champion in my lifetime either.” Kaladar said giving Conri a tap of the shoulder. “I do have to ask, how have you found your way here this day? Is there something that Saito, myself or Mr. Popo can help you with?” Kaladar asked, he was wondering why the Champion had found himself on the Lookout. Most people don’t come all the way up here without some kind of reason.

It was clear upon Kaladar's arrival that this was not Saito's conversation. Once the Guardian began to speak Saito took a step back. While Saito considered himself an honorable man, he had deep respect for anyone willing to teach him. Kaladar was such a teacher and so if he wanted to speak with this man, it was not Saito's place to interject. He listened to the two converse for a moment before piecing a few things together. For starters, this man was important enough to Kaladar that he would conclude their training for the day. A normal man may have been angered by this, but Saito was hardly incapable of continuing his efforts at the dojo. If Kaladar wanted to cut their sparring short, he would not argue. Though it did make Saito quizzical, who was important enough to curb Kaladar's training? Kaladar hardly even acknowledged Saito when he and Carla were training. Why now would he take pause?
Then the phrase was uttered. The one that would forever brand Conri in the eyes of the Crane warrior. Galactic Champion. Galactic implied some sort of space related contest, and Champion implied a tournament. Saito's eye widened slightly, his heart rate beginning to quicken at the idea of a champion not only of Earth, but of the entire galaxy. How would he obtain a title like that? How could Saito possibly take hold of such a title. He needed to know! After a moment in his immature fantasy, the twenty seven year old was pulled back into the realm of reality and took a breath to calm himself down. After his encounter with Kemuri, tournaments had been a thing of the past. Saito had dreamed his entire life of competing in the World Martial Arts Championship, but that no longer existed. To hear of a champion in the martial arts made Saito revert to his inner teenager from years ago. Swapping stories with his brothers, and of course aspiring to obtain such position himself. It was at that moment Saito knew he had to meet Conri. Not in a superficial passing like now. He needed to meet the real Conri, at his dojo.
"No apologies needed. As Kaladar said we were...just wrapping up. I would encourage anyone to come see my school, but for a champion I must insist. If you are near Central City come and see me. I would treat the Galactic Champion to a meal, and a tour"
With that he left. Waiting only long enough to hear any replies from Conri or the Kami. Hopefully the warrior would take him up on the offer. Meeting a champion was one thing. Training with one was quite another.

It seemed that he was discovering myths and legends of old coming to life before him, first it was his super saiyan form, then it was discovering that the Guardian of Earth was a real person. That the same Guardian was Kalador Lox the man praised for being able to save hundreds of lives during the war to free the people of Earth from Vector. What was to come next he wondered, what myth or legend would he discover next that would leave him struck with awe? It was strange, if anyone had told him this would happen to him earlier in his life he would have laughed and thanked them for the nice joke and yet here he stood. Galactic Champion, Super Saiyan, and meeting the Guardian of Earth it was taking every fiber in his being to not squeal like a rabid fan, but he kept himself collected as he spoke with both of these men though Saito had backed out of the majority of it once Kalador had arrived. A shame, he would have liked to talk more with both of them, but he supposed it was probably a rare thing for the Guardian of Earth to give someone attention like he was getting.
The question was asked of how he came to find his way to the look out this day and what any of them could help him with, he was about to answer when Saito spoke up repeating that there was no need for an apology needed, and even offered to have him come to Central City to his dojo for a meal and a tour. "Sure, that would be great, I'll head out as soon as I can to take you up on that offer. It was good to meet you," he shook the man's hand once more before he left. It was time for him to talk with the man that he had never thought he would meet, and the man asked him a question that he would take a bit of time to think about now. If he was here, then maybe he should take the opportunity of all the new information that he had received over the past few days.
"Well, to be honest I had been coming back from New Vegeta to report the death of the prince and a soldier named Celeh after a mission for Prometheus Zex when I sensed the energy that was up here and was curious. Although since I've come back, I've learned that a lot of things that I used to believe aren't quite the way I remember them, and some of which prove to be very worrying to me. Since coming here there is a lot I discovered that could help with that," he usually wasn't one to be so roundabout, though he wasn't entirely sure how he would tell all of this to the man. So he would just start with a basic little telling of what was going on right now and could expand as needed. It was also the words he used when he mentioned being lucky enough to enjoy the true beauty of the planet since he was the one to protect it. Those words clicked with him like none other.
"Now that I'm here and am taking all of this in fully, I would like to make a request of you. Would you allow me to become your apprentice for the role of Guardian of Earth? I know this is sudden and it seems really out of place, but the Earth is my home and in light of recent events I want to protect it from all threats. Those both far and near," the last part sad with a bit of sadness. As much as he didn't want to think it, it was much harder for him to trust Akassa as much as he had before, if she was willing to kill millions because she believed it was right, what else would she do? It was these thoughts that led him to believe that it was important for there to be someone to stop all possible threats to the people of Earth. If he could make sure the Earth and its people stayed safe then he would be more than happy to do whatever it would require of him.

Kaladar remained silent as he waited for the Champion to answer his question. Saito would be the first to respond. Asking Conri to one day stop by his dojo, by giving him a tour. Once Saito was done the boy took his leave. Leaving only Conri and Kaladar to stand ontop the lookout. Conri had yet to answer Kaladars question, but he knew he would receive an answer soon enough. A mere moment after Saito left Conri began to speak. The first words out of his mouth came to a surprise. The price of Saiyans Ninjin Hattori was dead. He has joined his father and mother. The next piece of information was even more intriguing. The Champion had been sent on a mission by Zex.
Apparently the other Leaders of the Universe were planning something. Kaladar has never trusted Zex, he was impossible to read. Conri went on to explain his reasoning for finding his way to the Lookout. As Conri continued to speak he mentioned that he had a request for Kaladar. Kaladar now gave his full attention to Conri’s words. The Champion asked if Kaladar would consider taking him as his apprentice to become the next Guardian of Earth. Conri wished to become the next guardian of Earth, to protect it from al threats.
“Conri Lane It would be my pleasure to accept you as my apprentice. If it is Guardian you wish to become, then you have started your quest in the right place. It is going to take some time for you to take my place, but I believe you can handle it.” Kaladar said placing a hand on the Champions shoulder.
“If this is truly the path that you wish to take. You are going to be spending a lot of time up here. Training, learning and preparing your body to become the next Guardian of Earth. You will also be fighting alongside Saito during your training, that going to be alright?” Kaladar asked giving a brief pause to let Conri answer. Before motioning the Champion to follow him. Pop had been absent from the conversation. Kaladar would want Mr. Popo to know of the Champions intentions. The last person that wanted to become Guardian, hasn’t returned and more than likely isn’t ever going to. Kaladar knew that Conri would follow him to the center of the Lookout. Making sure to listen to everything that Conri would be saying to him on their way over to Mr. Popo

He had been long winded about his answer, which he felt bad about, Kalador had probably wanted something much more concise but the half-saiyan believed he should at least partially explain his reasoning to him. When the request was finally made, he wasn't quite sure what to expect given that Kalador knew him as a champion but not much more than that. However, it seemed that at least for now it was enough to accept Conri as his apprentice, he made a little fist pump motion as Kaladar accepted his offer. He was finally on the path to becoming someone that could utilize his capabilities towards protecting people on a whole rather than just using it for destructive purposes. The best part was that he was going to train for this under Kalador Lox, in his mind there was no one better to teach him how to use his abilities to protect others.
"Thank you, I greatly appreciate this opportunity. I understand it will take time and I'm ready to get started as soon as possible," he smiled at Kaladar, as he placed his hand on Conri's shoulder. It was good to have something to strive towards now, and to have the opportunity to become the Guardian of the Earth? That was something that he couldn't have imagined in his wildest dreams, so this was something he was going to put all his effort into accomplishing because his home needed someone to protect it from all those that would threaten its peace.
"That would be fine with me, although I do have one request, I would like to visit a few places over the next couple of months as well, if that would be alright? I want to grow more as a warrior capable of using all his power for protecting, and to make sure I am heading the right direction I need to rebuild myself. I will start now to work towards becoming a proper guardian and finish when I return though, you have my word," he figured that he wanted to be sure he wasn't going to have this be a surprise for Kaladar. Still, he needed to return the sword and have Masamune help him forge weapons for himself, then he wanted to head to Namek, the home of Banduk to both inform the people of his disappearance and to train with them.
He knew Banduk was a powerful warrior and he figured that those on the planet would be able to help him become stronger, plus it was his own way of remembering the Namekian that had come with them. Hopefully, Kaladar would understand, if he needed to explain he would though he didn't have a problem with that. He waited for the Guardian's response as he walked with him, maybe they could even work out some kind of a schedule where he could come back between his trips to train more towards taking over the position as well. He was flexible to work with this because he felt that this was the path that he wanted to walk, even if he did like Kalador and became a mythical figure to the rest of the world.

As Kaladar and Cori made their way over to the house, they were meet half way by Mr. Popo. On their walk over there Kaladar had been informing Popo of the Champions request. Popo was glad to see that yet again someone was striving to take up the mantle as Guardian of Earth. Popo’s only concern was that what if Conri left like the other one had and never returned. All the training that had been done was a waste. Once the du meet up with Popo, Conri began to inform Kaladar of something that he wanted to do. Kaladar turned his attention to the Saiyan as he spoke.
The Champion wanted to visit a few places over the next couple of months before beginning training. This is the one concern that Popo had, but Kaladar knew Conri was different from the others that tried before him. Conri wanted to leave but promised to return once he had finished everything that he wanted to do. He wanted to rebuild himself, in order to become a proper Guardian for Earth. Kaladar took in the Champions words. He reminded him of a much younger self. Wanting to see the universe, to take in everything that it had to offer.
“Are you sure that he is going to come back after he is done with everything he needs to take care of Kami? You remember the last person that left this place wanting to become Guardian?”[/i] Mr. Popo said to Kaladar
“I do indeed remember the boy Popo. Conri is not the same person that boy was. Conri understands what it is going to take to become the next Guardian. That boy did not, and that is fine. Earth needs someone that is going to keep a watchful eye, not someone that is going to leave for long periods of time.” Kaladar paused for a brief moment before continuing. “As for Conri I am not worried. I believe that he will return to this place once he is finished. If there are things he needs to take care of, it is better that he takes care of them before he starts training.” Kaladar said
“Perhaps you are right Kami. I just hope that you find someone soon to take your place.”[/b] Mr. Popo replied
Kaladar would say nothing for a few moments, just starring into the eyes of the Champion. As he looked the man over once again he knew that Conri would be the best replacement for him. He knew that he would be leaving Earth in good hands once the training was complete. There would be no worry in his mind, no fear in his heart. Earth would be safe and after all, that is the only thing that matters.
“Go ahead Conri, take care of everything that you need to before starting your training. You are going to need to be focused in order to truly understand what it means to be Guardian. As a matter of fact that will be your first lesson. Go out and see what else you can learn before coming back to me. Experience what the universe has to offer. Once you have done that, you know where to find me.” Kaladar said once again placing a hand on the Champions shoulder.

There was a silence when he explained his goals to Kalador and for a while he was worried what the older man might have to say about it, if he thought he wasn't serious about taking over guardianship. Which was the furthest thing from the truth, he wanted it more than anything, but he also wanted to make sure that he could be the best guardian for the Earth as well. It would be a lot worse if he just half-assed trying to be the guardian without understanding himself better or what he wanted to do, he needed to make himself a bit more complete before he would feel ready for the role. The first thing he needed was to get something that would serve him better than a sword, and he had an idea of who to go for that was well.
When Kaladar looked into his eyes, the half-saiyan kept his eyes locked onto his to show that he meant what he said, he would return to Earth to train under Kalador and become the next Guardian of Earth. He had nothing to hid and nothing to lie about, Conri had found the one thing that truly called to him over the years, and that was to become a symbol of hope and safety for the people of Earth. Even if he would be considered nothing more than a myth by most people, fame wasn't even that important to him as the Champion of the Galactic Tournament. Although he had used it only because Kaladar had mentioned his own title, but he supposed it was just something that was a part of him now. When Kaladar placed his hand on Conri's shoulders once more and spoke, the Half-Saiyan listened intently to what he had to say, and was pleasantly surprise by his words. Not only was he permitting it, but it was his first mission from Kaladar to go see what laid out in the rest of the universe and return to Earth as a new man to take on the role of Guardian.
"I will do as you request and search the universe to learn as much as it can teach me until I return. I promise that when I come back I will be a completely reborn warrior and able to focus one hundred percent on the training that will be required from me as the apprentice to the Guardian of the Earth. I will not let you down," the last words were said with both passion and determination, there would be nothing to stop him from achieving his goal. He gave his word to Kaladar and he would not go back on it, regardless of what it had in store for him. If this was going to be a request from Kami then he should start on the task right away as well.
He extended his towards Kaladar, "Thank you for this opportunity, you won't regret it, I promise." There would be a lot that he had to do to prepare for the trip, but there was something he had to check first before he could get started on anything else right now. "Do you need me to do anything for you while I'm here? I don't want to just leave to get things packed for the journey if you need something," he figured it would be poor manners to just run off, so he wanted to make sure that there was nothing that needed his presence here before he went off. He would have to visit Saito before he set off for the trip as well, because he had no idea how long he would be gone and not going after he promised seemed like an inappropriate way to do things.

Kaladar listened to Conri speak once again. The Champion was going to take Kaladar’s advice and go see what the universe had to offer. Kaladar was glad to hear that upon the Champions return he was going to be a different person. If Conri wanted to become the next Guardian, he was going to need to take care of everything that he wanted to off the planet. Conri was going to be training atop the Lookout for a long time under Kaladar’s tutelage. When Conri extended his hand out it would be meet by Kaladar’s. Kaladar would wait for the Champion to return. He was interested to see what the Champion could do and what kind of person he would be when he returned.
“I am sure you will not let me down Champion. As for if there is anything you need to do for me. There isn’t anything I need done around here at the current moment. Feel free to go pack your bags and seek whatever it is you are looking for. Everything that needs to be done around her has been taken care of my Mr. Popo and myself.” Kaladar said
It was refreshing to hear that Conri wanted to help Kaladar out so soon, even though there was nothing that Kaladar needed. He knew Conri would make a great replacement for Kaladar when his training was done. Kaladar could feel that his time was running out and he needed to find someone that wanted to protect Earth as much as he did.
“Conri, I will wait until you find yourself back on Earth. When you have returned please find me immediately so we can begin.” Kaladar said

It seemed that Kaladar was putting all his faith into Conri and that was something that not many people had done for him throughout his life, but he would prove to the man that he would fulfill his request. He would come back as a new person and take over the responsibility of protecting the Earth, and he would do everything in his power to make sure that he was the best Guardian that he could possibly mature into. This journey was one for him to grow into the person he truly wanted to become, someone that could protect the Earth and show that when threats came, the people had someone that they could put their hope in. When Kaladar shook his hand, he once more proclaim his promise with the man.
"Thank you, it means a lot that you put your full trust into me. I will leave as soon as possible. When I return I would like to meet this Mr.Popo as well, hopefully we will be able to get along like you and I," he grinned. Despite all that had happened that most would consider something discouraging was only a motivator for the Half-Saiyan, he'd technically lost the fight against Invictus but still managed to walk away alive. He lost two of his closest friends Ninjin and Banduk, as well as having lost Banduk before they reached Mement Mor. Then there was Akassa she became like a different person as well, willing to take the lives of innocents if it served whatever she believed would be the betterment for her people.
With all that, instead of being depressed he moved forward taking more steps until he could truly find himself in the universe and come back to the Earth ready to face any that would threaten it. He would become stronger for more than just himself, he would need to become the strongest possible for everyone around him as well, there was no other way around it. He would carry the deaths of his friends with him as a reminder to what would be his proper path as well, never against would he consider what he had on Mement Mor.
"I will I'll be back before you know it, and I would like to thank you once more for this chance," he smiled bowing his head respectfully. Kaladar was technically his master at this point, because he had given him the request to search the universe for what it had to offer. As of now, he would be pushing himself above and beyond what he would normally do, this was not something that he could let himself fail at. With that he turned to head towards the edge of the Lookout and jumped down to get things sorted for his trip, it wouldn't be long before he was traveling through the stars once more, but this time it would be his own road that the journey took place on. (I think that's a good end to things!) (PL please!)
