He cursed himself for accepting the job; he did not care about the huge sum he was promised. Working for Zex would save his mother and pay well. The boy was not greedy. But he was also not the demon that lied within, and could not just kill the Librarian and everyone who would come after him because of doing so. He had to believe that he could just complete the mission and be done with it all. A belief which blew away as the door creaked open. Unsure of what else to do he entered, looking back as the door slammed behind him. It was all darkness for a split second before light surrounded him…
As well as representatives of every criminal organization. They were all there, from the Blood Moons to the Red Suns, Eclipsus to the Pack. Aliens of all types looked down at him with bloody gazes. Brench, common lackeys since the days of Frieza, humans, a race most torn between good and evil, saiyans, a race not so torn, and many others not so well known. Most surprising where the presences of an icejin and a namekian, as neither race were common on Prime. The icejin were PTO and thus mostly kept to Beta, however this one must have been discharged. A most dishonorable fate, though certainly better than death which meant the offense could not have been too great.
A namekian was even more curious, as their race were almost entirely peaceful. The vast majority also never left New Namek, some saying because they are one with the planet’s life force. In fact the only evil namekians the boy had ever heard of were King Piccolo and Lord Slug, and they were tales told him as a child. Naitram was the only namekian touched by darkness whom he had met, and he suspected the Church had more to do with that than the assassin. Stepping into the room Willie looked around as his heart thumped in his chest. A large android blocked the exit, having been the one to close the door and now took post before it.
There was a staircase and an upper balcony, all filled with these criminals. Once he reached the center of the room, a voice finally broke the silence. “Give us the package and you may leave,” said an anthropomorphic crocodile with a scimitar tightly gripped in his claws. “Who told you,” Watson said with resolute eyes. It was not the first time someone had gotten the drop on him, the Shadow Demon and his lackeys had gotten in his way many times. But this was different; everyone was here, not just a trio of thugs hired to rob a boy.
“I don’t think you understand, if you don’t do as we say you’ll die,” retorted a Blood Moon by his side. Without word Willie reached back and grabbed the man by the back of the neck and with one quick action threw him face first to the floor before them. No sooner had his face hit the floor than the boy’s foot came down, smashing the skull clear through the floor. Grabbing him by the back of his armor once more he pulled him back to his feet and brought a glowing red hand to his throat, which was now exposed with his helmet having shattered. It all happened in a mere instant; the crimson armored man was at Willie’s mercy before the others could even act.
The hand glowed with energy he would release should anyone take a step. “No, I don’t think you understand. If you don’t tell me what I want to know all of you will die,” his breath was haggard and eyes hungry. His anger was becoming too much. All these years of being pushed around, even now he was but a servant. What he wanted was an answer, and he would take one if one would not be freely given. No one spoke as they all leaned forward, ready to strike. They could not simply blow him away after all; he had the package. It was an advantage he would press as far as he could. “Fine, don’t tell me anything. What is it you types always say? It’s more fun to take the truth?” the boy stated in regards for the monsters’ love of torture.
Then in an instant his hostage was gone, along with a section of the wall and anyone standing between it and William. With the last words he released the man’s throat, easing everyone for a moment before dropping his palm to the Blood Moon’s armored chest and unleashing a point blank Vanishing Beam. Charred, unconscious bodies lie in its wake, peppering the yard outside the hole. Turning his outstretched palm face up, whilst mimicking with the opposite, he gnarled his hands as red ki crackled into the form of chakrams.
Throwing Hell’s Gates in either direction he then activated his Zanzo Majutsu, flying up the balcony in a whirl of speed, leaving magical afterimages behind. As the malcontents thrashed at the three dimensional replicas of William they would laugh as they became transparent and began to fade. Reappearing at the row’s end of the upper balcony he turned back and loosened another Vanishing Beam, clearing the whole top floor and leaving a matching hole. Meanwhile the chakrams flew around the lower deck, one circling around whilst the other jutted about erratically, both bludgeoning anyone who could not avoid them.
Not missing a beat the used the normal Zanzoken to burst forward, leaving an afterimage with a fading smile as he ended at the scimitar wielding crocodile. Frightened and acting on reflex he swung at the boy, but Willie was fast. Before the sword could reach him his whole right arm reformed into a massive blade which impaled the anthropomorphic creature with ease. As wet gurgles accompanied blood escaping his jagged teeth before he slumped over, sliding off the apparent human’s weaponized arm. The rest who stood upon the staircase leapt at the boy all at once; as their fists reigned down upon him he could not avoid them all.
Throwing his head back as they began to pummel him a scream fled his lips, empowered by ki, creating a sonic boom. Vice Shout created a burst effect of immense force, hurling the assailants back. They would stumble and fail to get to their feet, their ears bleeding and drums blown, as they writhed in a deafened daze. Leaping into the air from the staircase he reached out, his blade arm returned to normal, summoning the rings to him. Immediately they returned to his grasp and as he reached the ground he spun, reigning a flurry of blows to the ones who had huddled together to escape the furious rings when that had attacked.
Every which way the creatures would fly, skittering away from William’s fury. As his feet made contact he crouched low and swept, knocking down all those who still stood around him with the dense rings of crimson ki. Popping to back to his feet he then tensed his body as he focused his energies below his shoulders… Pop, two new arms would spring forth thanks to Vespasian’s 4 Arms Attack, both quickly weaponized into whipfists; elongating segmented serrated whip-like appendages ending with blade-edge hands. Without hesitation they tore through the crowd, culling the weak whilst his original pair of arms wielded Hell’s Gates to fend off who attempted to engage in close quarters. The boy was barely in control now, his desire singular and emotions buried.
As he stood over a pair of Blood Moons, repeatedly striking their downed bodies again and again with the concentrated ki rings, smashing their armor to pieces he felt a tug on one whipfist, then the other. Lifting his eyes he saw the icejin grappled one effortlessly with his tail whilst the towering android who had guarded the door struggled to keep the other under control with both arms tightly gripping it. Turning his head he saw the namekian just in time for his green fist to slam into his cheek, the force rippling through his face before flinging him back. However the two who held his newly created limbs held tight, and before he knew it his momentum was carrying him back toward the namekian, who had both his hands collecting a ball of ki in front of his chest.
He could not retract his arms with the grips of the icejin and android intact and still could not fly, limiting his options. However he finally could accurately sense ki, so he knew the three remaining warriors were suitable opponents; thus he could not allow them to gain the upper hand. As he was upon the namekian Willie unleashed another Vice Shout, this time concentrating toward the slug, while also throwing his chakrams into the eternal night sky. The sonic waves struck the large pointy ears and pain erupted in his mind, his enhanced hearing only heightening the effects. As he in turned scream, pulling his hands from the forming ki sphere before his sternum in hopes of covering his ears, William reached out and unleashed a Vanishing Beam just before contact.
At point blank range the short lived beam struck the amassing ki erupting in an explosion which enveloped everyone instantly. A dust cloud hovered for a few moments, giving but momentary relief from the conflict. As it subsided the scene was that of splintered debris exploding out in all directions, complimenting the unconscious criminals which littered the landscape. William stood his extra arms now normal once more. Holding his hands into the air his rings swiftly returned. Meanwhile the icejin, android, and namekian too survived, taking up a triangular position around him at equilateral distances. Willie spat into the remnants of the trick house at his feet, “No wonder the job pays so well...”
