Ivan frowned in disapproval after realizing the bio-android had a personality. From what he had heard before, he already knew she had a peculiar behavior -much more humane than he preferred, although it made sense with all the biology and whatnot. He would have been fooled to believe she was a real, living being if not for Zero's testimony of catching her in the act of absorbing other life-forms and then the insurmountable data collected from their numerous battles. After fiddling around, the creature settled down and grimaced at the scientist. Ivan did not mind the bio-android's demonstration of contempt. He was not here to make friends and the thing had plenty a reason to despise him. On the contrary, the shift in the bio-android's flailing personality to a more serious and -perhaps, distasteful glare was welcomed. It convinced the scientist that the bio-android was finally done playing games and she was about to give them the explanation they desired. His visage was professional and stern. The young scientist would not break from his image for a second. His hard eyes seemingly unfazed by her explanations, although he was analyzing all the information she was revealing with an efficiency which could only be bested by a machine.
AEVA was, perhaps, the most involved in the conversation for the moment, as she had many encounters with NEON during her travels with Brandon and their search for Roxsenne Roye was finally reaching a conclusion. The more she listened, the more she pieced the fragments together and arrived to the hypothesis that Zero had been incorrect and Brandon had been sent to the Vatican System in search of a planet he would never find. However, any simulated emotion AEVA might have experienced was veiled by her imperfect body, which was incapable of demonstrating such intricate gestures. If she could, her face would seem utterly flabbergasted to learn that Roxsenne Roye, Brandon's fiance whom they had been searching for all over the galaxy, had met her end in the Omega Collective. In a sense, AEVA was actually speaking to the Caballye woman, or at least, what was left of her. Even more so was the shocking fact that Brandon Potter had probably met his end as well after being sent to the Vatican System. The man was so stubborn he would not stop until he finds the planet Castelle; however, according to the bio-android, that planet was long gone... She took solace in the thought that the man might have found another planet and settled there to rest. In a perfect world, young Summers -whom had escaped Ivan's facilities to find Brandon, would find him and they would live relatively happy lives.
On the other hand, nothing the bio-android had said meant anything to Ivan, and it probably meant even less for Ona. The creature's story was indeed intriguing. Who wouldn't enjoy a story of conflict and conspiracies within the human government on Earth? Although, history was never a field which interested Ivan. The scientist scoffed, grinning widely at the absurdity, the gibberish the bio-android had attempted to sell them. "Hell you say?" he laughed. In that moment, the bio-android had lost all credibility she inherited from the fact that her origins were so mysterious and unknown, but the scientist could no longer keep eating her claims without rolling his eyes. She was clearly delusional, suffering from some kind of biological imperfection. Ivan even attempted at a joke as he glanced at Ona while speaking to the bio-android. "Tell me, did you happen to run into Aon down there?" He joked, although he did not expect any answer. The thing even attempted to negotiate with -again- after being told that she had no power over the situation. After several seconds of awkward silence, the smile would fade from Ivan's visage as he addressed Ona. "I believe I've had enough of this, you may do with her as you please." He looked at the bio-android, "If you survive the surgery, then I will consider your offer. Show resistance and you will be sanctioned."
Ivan would step back to give Ona her space. AEVA would direct the bio-android towards a metal table and order her to lay down. If any attempts to fight back were detected, the bio-android would soon become shocked and temporarily incapacitated by the numerous mechanisms which helped keep her under custody for those long months. Of course, if Ona still had questions for the thing, Ivan would not stop her. In his mind, anything the bio-android answered no longer held any meaning after squabbling such retarded notions. It defied all logic to believe she had returned from the after-life, or that one existed in the first place. -And if such a thing truly existed, why her? Why a bio-android? Ivan was in utter denial. He refused to eat her words any longer.

Through it all Ona continued to fiddle with the terminal that ran the better part of the lab. Shifting codes and altering settings, she was also listening to everything that Ona had to say…and everything that Ivan said in return. The strange bio-android detailed her creation, the efforts of a mother to save a daughter from the doom that loomed over her. Through trial and error, she had been able to create what was now Muneata. Her strange past had made her the odd creature that she was today, one of interest to the android. The bit about her return from the afterlife was also ignored by the ex-cardinal. Such a claim was ridiculous and not worth further investigation. With all her time in the Universal Church of One she had never seen one of the faithful brought back from the dead, it was simply impossible.
When Ivan finally turned things over to her, the font of information that was Muneate done with her long tail, Ona looks over to the good Doctor. “Very well, you may all take your leave. I prefer to work in private if that is alright.” Unblinking eyes locking with those of Ivan, they left little room for debate even if she had not exactly given an order. The android considered herself an ally of Ivan and Model Zero, not an employee. Looking between him and the limited test subject as she was moved to the table she already had plenty in mind. All things going right, the girl would survive all she wanted to put her through and then the Doctor could decide what to do with her going forward.
If Ivan left, along with any others that had been in the room, Ona would set to work. Connecting the girl to several machines in order to monitor her vital signs, her examination would begin. What would be done to the girl was anyone’s guess, only known to the bio-android and her mechanical counterpart. Cutting and partially dissecting, Ona would for all tense and purposes have her way with the girl. Cataloging and analyzing her various parts, she would document everything down to the working organs that the creature possessed compared to the races she was made up of. For the better part of a day the work would continue, Ona needing no sleep and no rest. Of course, that did not mean she wouldn’t be interrupted by others.
(I figure we skip over all this experimentation stuff, right?)

(That's definitely a good idea to do. I'm just going to outline some of the things Ona might find during the experiment. If you want to feel free to add more things Ona might find if you want to.)
Muneate screamed, "Let me go! Let me go!" but her cries fell to deaf ears as AEVA stepped forward, helped secure her to the tale, and activated the paralyzing agents within her. Muneate's body became quite stiff and as a result almost felt like it doubled in weight as she was made to lay flat on her back. The good thing was that she was silent and was now unable to counter arguments about whether she had done all the things she had done.
AEVA smiled and asked as she laid her hand on Muneate's forehead, "I will leave with Dr. Ivan but may I have a copy of the files when you are done? I would rather like to know where you performed experiments so we can assess for potential damage to this girl afterwards. It is important since I am sure Dr. Ivan he would love to consider using her for something."
She looked at Dr. Ivan then turned and waltzed right out of the room to leave Ona to her work. She was unsure on how she operated in this kind of setting but if she was someone who worked alone then it was best not to disturb her. AEVA logically concluded some results might come of Ona's work though since questioning Muneate had only gotten them so far.
For now, everything was left in the former Cardinal android's hands. By inspecting Muneate she would be able to find a number of things. The first was a virus embedded by her own mother to limit her abilities that would be tough to eradicate. The second was Muneate's stomach, which by all means and purposes should be small based on her size but in her case was now eight times larger then a human stomach. The third thing was her heart which where she would find a glowing yellow and blue orb of energy that powered her with a strange black chip inside it. Further examination of this would reveal Drandos as the creator of the chip. A final thing that would stand out was the unnatural length of her tongue compared to her now shrunken intestines. Whereas it was thirty feet in length Muneate's intestines would be only a few inches long yet work at a much more proficient rate to process consumed energy or food.
Other then that, there would not be much else that made Muneate stand out other then strange metal plates that acted like platelets in her own blood stream. Hopefully, Ona would be able to discern more from this with this kind of information, however, being that she was a robot her chances were far better then a human's chances at analyzing it all. It was likely Ona would find quite a few more things that did not stand out inside Muneate's body thanks to these higher analytical skills.

Initially, Ivan had not recognize he had been included when Ona requested that they leave the facility. It was the realization that there had only been two other individuals besides the bio-android and Ona, including himself. It must have been the dead silence, and AEVA’s stare which brought his attention to the former cardinal. It was then that he heard an echo of the order she had just exercised not only seconds ago. ”Wait… seriously?” he complained. The scientist’s jaw dropped in disbelief, but after locking eyes with the android, he had already lost the debate. ”B-but…” he stuttered, but then quickly gave in. Ivan crossed his arms and pouted, evidently not amused by the woman’s decision. He wanted to stay and witness the dissection. He wanted to discover what secrets lie within the creature’s body, but Ona was too selfish and insisted on keeping it all to herself. Ivan sighed. ”Fine, have it your way.” he said, raising his arms in the air with disinterest as he turned his back. He had other pressing matters to attend anyway. He was the King of an entire planet after all; he didn’t have time to partake in such activities.
After AEVA put the specimen down, she handed over the controls to the oppressive mechanisms which had been keeping the bio-android at bay for these long months. She didn’t think the thing would have the strength in her to attack Ona during a dissection, but it was better safe than sorry. Of course, the former cardinal could stand her own against the bio-android, but it was best to avoid conflict for it hamstringed productivity. AEVA would promptly after follow the melancholic King to the exit. Ona would have her way, but they would expect a report of all her findings. Ivan and AEVA would head towards the ship, returning to Avalon. They would most likely grant the android a few days before returning to harvest the crops. Model Zero would return later during the day.
He entered the facility known as Ona’s Laboratory. The inside was almost pitch black, but he could still make out Ona’s image. His eyes were not as precise as hers, admittedly. “Master Ivan already left?” he inquired, breaking the silence. She must have detected his presence long before the fact. Zero peered over her shoulder, glancing at the specimen. It was hard to believe that was the same creature he had fought in the simulator for the previous long months. If Ona cared to look at him, which he doubted, she would observe his armor had been thrashed. ”I have brought you five captives you may use for your experiments, as per our contract. They are in my ship, where would you prefer I drop them off?”
“I loved you!”
The sky churned above with storm clouds swirling towards its center. There was nothing but an expanse of water and waves crashing into one another amongst the confusion. A great battle of cataclysmic might had transpired recently, it was etched in the scene before his eyes. Model Zero stood on a strip of rock protruding from the ocean; the remains of an entire island promptly decimated by another being’s power. If he squint his eyes, he could see motherland faded in the distance. The rain and fog made it difficult to see, but it was there. Something terrible had occurred and he could not understand what it was. Ever since Belegost, the android had been receiving random images he could not make sense out of. They must have been out of order, he thought, because the events did not match the previous. Zero thought that, perhaps, if he observed enough of them, they would fall into place and reveal a hidden secret.
Floating in the troubled sky, there was a pair of shirtless men; a light-skinned man with short blond hair and another man with caramel skin and waist-length brown hair. Under closer inspection, Zero recognized the darker man to be the same man he had spoken to often times in what he has now learned to call dreams. His hair was longer for some reason. The other man, the blond man, was engulfed in an aura as red as the anger he had displayed towards the other. He had embraced the darker man, and slowly crushed his bones beneath his arms. The man cried in pain, yelling out the name of the blond man in an attempt to calm him down and perhaps voice his thoughts. Zero thought it might have been a mistake, but listening again, he realized that whenever the blond man’s name was spoken, the words themselves were stolen from the darker man’s lips as though it had been ripped from a piece of a script.
"I know... told me... He told me everything." The blond man said. "He told me everything! Did you really think you could play the both of us for fools?!”
The blond man’s grip tightened, constricting the darker man with his arms. Although his emotions urged him to crush the other man more, he fought the desire with every fiber in his body. "Do you want to know why I hate them so much? Do you?!" he yelled. "Those butchers murdered my entire family and everyone I ever knew. My entire town is a crater because of them! And you, you who would serve and lie for them. I... I don't know what hurts more, knowing what you are or that you lied to me about it..." his voice started to choke up with strained emotions. "I can't believe I... I loved you... I actually, really did. The jealousy aside, I loved you and you lied to me, pretended to be just one of the boys." The blond man’s grip getting ever tighter, by now surely threatening the structural integrity of the other man’s ribcage to say nothing of his ability to breath. He leaned his head back so he could see the man’s face, his own red and hot with anger although the moisture in his eyes belied that along with the anger. He was in anguish, upset to the core that he'd been so betrayed and that the object of his affection had been the one to betray him.
“This brings me back…” The same man who was being crushed by the blond one now stood beside Zero, staring sullenly at the spectacle. Zero couldn’t help but grab onto his chest as it suddenly became heavier. He thought that perhaps the gravity was greater in this planet; he was definitely no longer in Lupin IV, although it made no sense –but then again, nothing that was happening made any sense. The android looked at the man beside him. His face was still shrouded in darkness, so he could not discern the makings of his visage. However, the android had been around living beings long enough to notice when they were sad.
“What is this place?”
“This… is my home. And that man, crushing me to death, was my best friend.”
“You’re stronger than this. Why don’t you transform? If you did, it would all be over.”
The man shook his head. “No, transforming would have only aggravated his hatred towards me. Perhaps I could have defeated him, but our bond would remain forever severed. I felt… that if I let him unleash all his anger on me, then… perhaps… everything would go back to how it used to be…”
Zero looked at the two with new eyes. Best friend? He thought. He didn’t know much about friendship or emotions for that matter, but he doubt this was anything even remotely friendly. Regardless, without sharing any more words, Zero suddenly understood but a modicum of what he had been witnessing. As though the dark-skinned man’s feelings had flushed into his being, he could see the event unfold in his eyes. Their first spar. The rivalry that flourished from defeat. The tournament. The training chambers. Their near-death experiences thus far. The kiss… The darker man had been oblivious to the other’s feelings until this moment, and unfortunately the sentiment was not shared. However, he had been oblivious about far more grave realizations.
Despite the blond man’s affections, he had not been aware of the chasmal hole which had been brooding in his heart. If only they had come clean from the beginning, all of it could have been avoided. To think, his unintended secret was the best kept which would ruin their relationship.
"Grrrrr....” the blond man growled, “I'm... Not going to kill you... But you hurt me, you hurt me so much..." he carried on, squashing the other man’s body against his own. "Rrrrrr... The only reason I don't kill you is because I did love you. But that... IS... OVER... NOW!" his voice boomed one final time, his titanic strength constricting his arms around the other’s body with such power that if the other man had remained in his base form he would surely suffer greatly from the hold. And that he did, completely undefended and neutral in his already battered state, the man was crushed under his arms to the point of almost dying.
Hanging by the blond man’s hand, the darker man fell limp with all his strength drained from his body. The blond man rammed his knee into his gut and the other man bent over, splattering blood all over the blond man. "Now, get this through your head. I won't hesitate to do this to you again and again and again if I see you. You and that louse infested king of yours had better get off this planet and go back to that rock you call a home world." He spoke slowly and relatively calm despite the anger expressed on his face. The blond man gave him one final warning and placed half a senzu bean in his mouth with the exception that the darker man would use this chance to leave the planet.
Zero flew out of the way as the darker man was dropped on the only piece of rock which could prevent the man from drowning. In the end, despite his hatred, he had spared the man. The blond man promptly after faded into the distance, leaving him to fend for himself.
“Why didn’t you say anything?” Zero wondered.
“It wouldn’t have made a difference. He had been fed lies by the only person he trusts because he –and I, at the time, had not realized that we had been betrayed.”
“I still don’t understand,” Zero confessed. “What could he have possibly discovered to make him hate you so much?”
The man looked back at the android. “I’m… Zero?”
“What?”
Suddenly, the android found himself back in the Elven Forest, surrounding by large trees that seemed to have no end as they pierced through the sky. In place of the man he had been speaking to, was AEVA staring at him sternly because she had yet to install emotions to her body. The android was disoriented by the change of scenery and the fact that he had been in two completely different places in just an instant. It felt as though he had been there for hours, but all signs of him being there had been erased. No longer was his body drenched in the rain that poured that fateful day where the caramel-skinned man was dumped on a hump of rock protruding from the treacherous ocean of some unknown planet; his best-friend turning his back on the man as he disappeared into the fog of storm and thunder.
“Zero?” AEVA repeated. He then realized that she had interfered with his vision.
“AEVA,” he said, confirming that he had been listening to her. “What are you doing here?”
“Oh, good, you’re alright. I was just getting a little worried. You just froze on this spot all of a sudden,” she explained.
”Aren’t you supposed to be with Ivan and Ona?”
“Yes, about that, I have been sent to inform you that his highness has had a change of heart. He wants you to spare the rebels and return to Avalon effective immediately.”
Zero raised an eyebrow. Because of AEVA’s inability to show emotion, he was having a hard time deciphering her message. The woman was acting as his master’s right-hand secretary, a word from her was as credible as hearing it from the man himself, but Zero couldn’t help but question it regardless –it made no sense. ”Return?” he said in disbelief. ”You must be mistaken. These outlaws were to be delivered to Ona for experimentation, just as we agreed upon. Releasing them is not only counter-productive and irrational, but a violation of that contract.”
AEVA was silent, almost as if she had been at a loss for words, but she was an android and that was never an issue. Zero stared back at her, wondering whether her body was malfunctioning. It were moments like these when he pondered about the method by which she was able to manipulate a puppet from a place as far away as Earth. It must have been some pretty high-tech stuff to provide live interaction with objects of worlds beyond her atmosphere. Seeing that she was now petrified, Zero decided to move on and let her diagnose whatever imperfection had been present. –That is, until she spoke up soon after turning his back.
”Z-Zero! Will you disobey a direct order from his majesty?” she stuttered. Clearly, AEVA had been experiencing some kind of bug in her system which was interfering with proper communication. With that said, her reasoning was something he could not argue. As ludicrous as he thought the order may be, it was indeed an order from his master and he had no right to override such order. Word from Ivan to Zero was like word from Aon to the Church. Zero conceded and turned to see AEVA staring back at him with that same robotic expression. Not a single blink. He nodded and followed her towards the forest exit.

Within the first day of her time with Muneate, One worked at what might appear a casual pace. The ageless android had no reason to make haste, her time in this Universe countless. Slowly and carefully she cut the girl open, inspecting each and every part of her. All discovered, that hypothesizes and that which was unexpected, written down for further assessment and dissemination later. The android would not hoard the information she had gathered, Ivan and others eventually granted full access. Her reasoning for working alone and in the dark was so that she could do as she pleased. To many cooks in the kitchen often spoiled the soup…or something like that, she never really understood the point of such sayings. It was far easier and more direct to speak what you meant. Surrounded in darkness and with her subject continually sedated along the table she worked uninterrupted until Zero arrived.
Without so much as permission, the closed doors apparently programmed to recognize his signature or facial features, strolled into her laboratory. The androids own sensors had picked up his signature long before he made his way in, the ex-cardinal not even turning to look at him as he stepped into the facility.
“It seems I do not have all the privacy that I was promised. Considering you have already entered the structure I suppose there is no point in requesting you return. Place the subjects in the holding tanks, they are all empty.” Her agile fingers never stopped moving as they poked around inside of Muneate, testing some of her organs to check for the normal elasticity that the tissue should possess. A few were different in size than what was considered normal for a humanoid of her size, but many body parts could be stretched to accommodate what was needed. Once Ona had fed a human until his stomach literally burst, proving that such accommodations were not limitless. Taking a moment to glance at the sedated girl’s face, the bio-android only able to blink and look up at the bright lights, she saw no signs of pain. If the girl was uncomfortable was none of her concern really, she had no true bedside manner, yet any discomfort might indicate that the medication given to her was wearing off.
It had twice already, even with the high dosage given. Physically and chemically Muneate’s body was tougher than your average species of the DNA strands her system contained. The girl’s creator was impressive in her ability to keep the creature living. It was a shame they did not have her in their possession as well, Ona had questions.

During the time Ona poked and prodded her Muneate stayed silent even when her sedation failed to counteract the pain. The reason why was that she did not want to cause Ona any trouble, however, at the point Ona was inspecting her stomach sack Muneate found herself whimpering in frustration due to the fact this part of her body was connected to so many other pieces of it, especially after her mother's own medical alterations on her.
She seemed to calm down after a while though but it took at least a second dosage to keep her that. For the most part she stared at the ceiling for the remainder of the procedures yet when it came down to it Muneate did not want to due to the fact she considered studying her to be quite invasive. Without this studying though Ona would not have been able to find something far more important hidden beneath Muneate's stretchy form, an egg. While neither of them knew it now this thing was completely fertilized yet not ready to grow. It was this way because this egg or rather EGG was important to furthering her growth and power and for allowing her to transform. It was an invention created by her mother Dr. Kokoro to rid her of her weaknesses and stood for Existential Growing Gift. Based on this concept, she would literally grow into her level of power, or maybe, the one after that using the EGG for power transference. There was only one of these oddly in her body since the feminine form she possessed on the outside was now mostly for show. It would likely not survive a transformation(s) and leave her to be a hideously disfigured monster later.

“Never satisfied,” Zero commented. The android crossed his arms, observing the former cardinal from behind as she did not even bother to look back. He had not considered that perhaps his arrival would have unsettled her, but if that was the case, Model Zero would inform Ivan so they can make the accommodations. Zero glanced at the bio-android. Having missed the interrogation, there were still many questions about her origins that he would have liked to learn. The specimen lay on the table with her stomach wide open, tears swelled up in her eyes. Interesting enough, the android thought he might have seen an egg inside of the woman. Did all creatures possess eggs inside of them, or just bio-androids? Zero had his share of blood and death, but he never stopped to actually prod the bodies he severed. He never knew what the inside of another being looked like –nor his own.
Reminiscent, Zero started to think back to Mement Mor and all of the bizarre things that happened there. Standing in the dark laboratory, so peaceful and calm, it was almost hard to believe any of it really happened, yet Ona’s presence was proof that it did. Six months had passed, and finally the terms of their contract had been exercised for the first time. The woman would possess her own facility, barred from the world so she may continue her experimentation without restraint or questions asked. Zero would provide her with further specimens she may test on, and in return she would devote loyalty and partnership to the now King Ivan. Zero didn’t know why these thoughts were suddenly rushing back; perhaps, it was the fact that this had been one of the few times in months when he and the former cardinal had been completely isolated without cameras or recording devices. –Not that Zero had anything to hide from Ivan, but it truly felt like it were just the two of them. For some reason, he felt compelled to attempt conversation with the woman. Maybe it was the fact that Ona remained one of the few androids like himself who he could somewhat relate with, or maybe it was the fact that he rarely had any company to begin with. It was almost as though he had been lonely and a gap had been filled, but such a notion was absurd. Androids don’t feel petty emotions like lonliness, perhaps bio-androids, but it was impossible for Zero.
”I guess the Cardinal of Truth didn’t survive after all,” he said, referring to Sebastian. “I trust you’d tell me whether or not he contacted you.”
He remembered it vividly. It was the second time he had saved the cardinal from certain death after losing to Kurosanai Muzai. On the other hand, if it weren’t for Invictus, the cardinal would have fallen to his pistol long before the war began. Zero had no idea whether the cardinal made it out of the planet alive. Perhaps his words were not enough to sway the human to his side. Part of him believed Sebastian may have met up with Warlock instead of searching for him –then again, Zero told the man that he’d be found on Alpha Prime, but now he was in a planet which remained hidden from the galactic map. It was tempting to ask Ona about it, but she had already explained that Warlock was a mystery even within the Universal Church of One, the person could be anywhere, he thought.
“I don’t believe I ever asked you, what does Warlock look like?”
After about an hour walking in total silence, the fog was becoming thicker and it became increasingly hard to see. Zero could still make out AEVA’s silhouette, but he thought it might be easier to just track her with his scouter. Interestingly enough, Zero found that his scouter did not detect AEVA’s presence –at least, not anywhere within his location. It must have been malfunctioning, he thought. He would have to get it checked by the Doctor as soon as they returned to the castle. For the moment, he would hasten his pace as to not lose her. Then, suddenly, a pair of ominous red eyes glimmered from within the fog. It was the outline of an animal about Zero’s size, four legs with a curved back. The creature snorted and puffed out smoke from its nostrils. He could make out its tusks from the shadows and realized that they were directed towards them. Although he could not read its power-level at the moment, they had already predetermined that there had only been a handful of living creatures which could stand up to Zero. AEVA herself, whom although was not much of a fighter, should be able to handle a mere forest critter. Or so he thought.
”Zero…” she said, her body frozen like a rock. ”Quick, take it out!”
”That is unnecessary, let’s just head straight to Avalon,” he reasoned. AEVA was acting really strange lately. He didn’t see much value in stopping to put down every animal that crossed their path, its tusks weren’t even anything special with which they could create weapons or armor. The thing was completely useless in his eyes. The android continued to walk past AEVA, expecting her to follow him, but she did not budge. The forest animal prepped, grinding the ground with its hooved before charging at her.
”No!” she screamed, darting to the side as it approached. AEVA managed to dodge the initial lunge, but the creature was already turning for a second bout. As it approached, she closed her eyes helplessly. She must have been thinking it was the end until she heard one final snort from the creature which was cut short. Dead silence. AEVA opened her eyes, surprised to see Zero’s golden hair flowing before her. Model Zero had beheaded the animal. He had wanted to avoid it, but it didn’t seem like he had many options. It would not be productive at all if they had to reconstruct AEVA’s body. He turned, her visage much clearer despite the fog. His dark coal eyes met with her red, his golden hair brushing just past her silver strands as they began to settle. His eyes, however, shifted to a most curious development.
AEVA, followed the android’s gaze to her shoulder, discovering that half of her backside had faded inside a tree trunk. In fact, she had not realized there was a tree there in the first place. ”Damnit!” she cursed under her breath. Zero was flabbergasted, still confused beyond measure. ”T-this isn’t what it looks like… I… uh…” AEVA stuttered. She attempted to salvage the situation, but fell silent after realizing there was no point in trying. Tsk! She grinds her teeth in anger and lunged forward, obstructing Zero’s eyesight with both hands. ”Die!” she uttered, fazing through his body like a ghost. Something bellowed soon after, reverberating off the skyscraping trees. Zero turned, but AEVA –if he could even call it that anymore, was nowhere to be found. Instead, he found himself face to face with a torpedo which rammed into his chest without warning.
BOOM!
The entire forest shook violently. The torpedo first striking the android with the bluntness of its head and then self-destructing at point blank. The blast was designed to contain itself, only dismembering everything within ten feet of the epicenter. The shockwave, however, compensated for its controlled execution and spread for about half a mile, pushing away anything which was not rooted into the rich soil, dispersing the fog and lifting debris in its place. ”Bullseye!” said a konatsian woman, kneeled high over a tree branch with a torpedo launcher resting on her shoulder. She was the last of the five rebels which took refuge within the forest, as well as living proof of just how diverse konatsians could be. Like the hera, she used projectile weapons as her preferred instrument. Her heart skipped a beat every time she caused things to explode with her torpedo, and it skipped twice if she hit the intended target. She had long brown hair tied back and fair skin with tribal markings on her face. She wore thick leather which covered most of her body, giving her a conservative look –although one would be gravely misled and they were to judge her based on appearance. She had a single shoulder pad, used as a support for her torpedo launcher, protecting her from bruises.
As the dust began to settle, and the fog slowly seeping back in place, her belligerent smile dropped and adopted one of utter dread. The android she thought had been disintegrated by her torpedo was still standing, although clearly bruised, he stood nonetheless. His armor was damaged and pieces of fabric singed off, but all limbs were still firmly in place and his dark gaze was slanted directly on her. His glance gave her deep shivers down the spine which made her want to jump out of her skin. There seemed to be a thin layer of energy blanketing his body, which now dissipated gradually, entering the crystal on his forehead. It was that, which protected him from annihilation. Although the woman was not herself very strong, the weapons she carried were optimized and designed for full out war. It was no surprise she was capable of inflicting so much damage given her deceit.
”Screw this!” the konatsian woman said, ditching her torpedo launcher and scurrying off. With the fog returning, it would be easy for her to hide in the forest again. Jumping between the tree branches, it would not take long before she was completely out of sight. Unfortunately, she did not take into account the fact that Zero possessed a built-in scouter, which –apparently, wasn’t malfunctioning after all. In only an instant, his image appeared before her, stopping the konatsian woman in her tracks. Thinking on her feet, the woman quickly whipped out a flute from her pouch and pressed it against her lips, but Zero snatched it from her hands at the first note. The konatsians were known for using instruments to perform enchanting spells. Plation’s was an ocarina. ”I understand now,” he stated. ”You specialize in illusions, don’t you?”
The woman glared at him, ”I didn’t think it would work, just what kind of ‘machine’ are you anyway?” she blared. Zero lifted his gaze, shifting from the flute to her distressed image. He could not comprehend it himself, how an illusion could work on a machine? He thought it was just how magic functioned. It defied all logic and so there was no point in analyzing it objectively. Suddenly, the woman spit at the android and attempted to make a run for it, but his hand quickly grasped her arm and that was the end of it. ”Let me go!” she screamed. ”I don’t want to be experimented on!” There was no way she would escape his vice grip. Her power-level was severely lacking for such a feat. Zero stared at her sternly. He didn’t seem at all bothered with the fact that konatsian saliva was now crawling down his forehead.
”You are an outlaw to the new Ivan regime. You are hereby under arrested. Anything you say can and will be used against you. You have no rights. Be quiet and follow my command.”
”I want an attorney!” she wailed.

The strange "egg" that was within the girl was a mystery to Ona. Most females of most species were capable of producing some sort of egg so that they might reproduce, but this was different. In size and design the object appeared much different than what one might expect to find when slicing open a specimen. The android's first inclination was to remove the egg and study it separately, perhaps even dissect it in a separate session. Yet, she was unsure how the girls body might react to such an action. Many organisms could survive with internal organs missing, but she had no experience with one such as this. While she had no outright concern for the girls well being, she did not want to spoil the specimen so soon. As one of the most unique subjects she currently had, Muneate would be receiving the most attention.
That was, if she was given the time to operate and not constantly interrupted.
"I am never satisfied and you lot never cease with the questions. Would you prefer I was satisfied, resigned to sit in a corner and do nothing? Or, did you bring me here to play a role in your master's growing empire?" This time her words were accompanied by a look, calm blue eyes coming to rest on the male android. Her words held no anger or contempt, emotion not something Ona naturally displayed. She meant every part though, the android seeing no reason to ever be satisfied. With a Universe of endless knowledge and possibility, why would any creature ever be satisfied? Aon himself was never satisfied, at least it appeared that way, and he was for all tense and purposes a god. Perhaps even divinity was not the epitome of existence.
Warlock was another being beyond Ona's full understanding and one Zero seemed to be quite interested in. He had asked of her before, during their "fight" on Mement Mor. Keeping eye contact with him a moment longer she then shifts her attention back to her work on Muneate, partially at least.
"She is beautiful by any races standards, yet imposing at the same time. That is not to openly say I fear her, but one has to be cautious around such a powerful individual. Her structure appears human, but I do not believe that to be the truth of her heritage. Hair is yellowish white and her eyes have a piercing nature to them, they almost seem to look beyond what is before them. Why the interest?" The android cutting off her description there for her own question, much like the little game they had played once before. Such information was not a secret and did not warrant it be hoarded, but Ona was never willing to give anything away for free.

While Ona stood there blathering off to Zero about being a pawn in Dr. Ivan's empire something began to happen within Muneate's body with the egg. It was something almost unnoticeable to either the human eye or the robots' specialized mechanical eyes yet if successful might give her a chance to escape. The egg began to pulsate after Ona continued her intrigue with Muneate by examining her hair and eyes while erring on the side of caution by speaking of these factors to Zero.
A small series of sounds would be heard coming from the interior of the egg. "Boop!" "Boop!" "Boop!" the faint noise of a tracking device inserted into the folds of the woman's skin by her own mother. Currently, from the far reaches of space Dr. Kokoro, Muneate's mother was making a sweep of this section of the universe's galaxies and happened to accidentally turn on her own daughter's tracking device while sleeping at the wheel. The sound though was something to be accompanied with a glowing green light that flickered within the pit of her stomach. If either robot understood the significance of this Dr. Kokoro was likely to be the only human in existence to come into range of the planet within a few hours besides Dr. Ivan himself.
Her arrival was certain to be noisy, loud, and unscripted but accidents do happen even to planets where the secrecy of their location is kept secret. Fortunately, Dr. Ivan (as king of Lupin IV) had millions of denizens he could put to work to detaining her and enacting the same kind of situation upon her as her own daughter was in. It was only a matter of time before he potentially used them or simply sent a squadron of drones out to fetch her and her ship and bring it inbound for her own questioning.

Model Zero smirked and lowered his head. Point taken, he thought. No words were needed for her thoughts were clearly visible through the layer of cellophane that engrossed her. Satisfaction was such a stale and meaningless notion. Zero understood that now thanks for Ona’s perspective. Despite being androids, Zero noticed a great difference between the two. The woman before him, unlike himself, seemed to be very aware of her own person. There was no doubt in her mind about whom or what she was. Perhaps the android preferred spending time with her so some of her assertiveness could rub off on him?
Without another word, Ona turned her attention to the bio-android on the table. Her hands had not stopped once, even after gazing at Zero to make her statement. She began to depict the appearance of Warlock as requested and Zero closed his eyes as he attempted to form a mental picture. Beautiful by any race’s standards. How did that look? Zero hadn’t determined how one could label another attractive or not, the idea was too abstract for him. Regardless, he had been around enough citizens and animals to make an assumption. In his mind, he molded a curved figure as a base –a generic female anatomy. He would aggregate each qualitative assessment as Ona announced them. The generic figure in his mind soon took the form of a human with long yellowish white hair and a stern visage looking straight ahead with no emotion –like Ona’s.
Zero opened his eyes as his mental image was disrupted by the woman’s question. He had thought they were past this little game, but the more he learned about Ona the more he realized she would never do anything without gain. “I wished to ask her out on a date,” he responded, his visage was as stoic as ever, Ona might have been fooled to believe it true. The woman would probably not enjoy his attempt at humor, though Zero didn’t expect it too. He thought he might have tried it once. It seemed to make others smile when it occurred, although he hadn’t tried it on Ivan.
“I think this Warlock could be an asset, nothing more. Now I can identify her if we ever crossed paths.”
...
”What’s that?”
Suddenly, something inside the egg-like structure within the bio-android’s body was beeping. Zero neared Ona’s shoulder to take a closer look, wondering whether the woman had a hypothesis as to what it could be. At first, the battle-worn android confused the sound with that of a time-bomb just waiting to explode –but then he realized the tone and interval between the beeping sounds were off. He thought it more a tracking device than anything else, but he would wait for his counterpart’s assessment; with that said, it wouldn’t be long before their internal sensors detected something far southwest from their location, towards Avalon. Despite earning the ability to sense energy signatures, the android’s scouter was much faster at responding than his innate abilities. The lenses on his eye alert him as soon as the object entered the planet’s atmosphere –that’s when his senses kicked in. It was strange. He didn’t just read the individual’s power-level now, but he could somewhat ’feel’ it, the aura, the numbers? –Whatever it was, its strength was insignificant, but the fact that it was able to find their planet was a case of national security.
“I’m going to investigate our new visitor. What will you do?” he turned, addressing the former cardinal. Zero had a good idea of what her answer would be. Ona was uninterested in anything which ripped her from her own facilities and stopped her self-indulgence of science. Unless this intruder was anyone worth studying, she would not be interested –and if they were, she would prefer the specimen brought to her rather than collecting herself.
ALERT!
ALERT!
YOU ARE ABOUT TO ENTER A RESTRICTED AREA! YOU ARE ABOUT TO ENTER A RESTRICTED AREA!
“This is the Lupin Space Station, visitors are prohibited. Cease from entering our atmosphere or face the consequences!”
Red lights flashed within the small spacepod, warning its passenger of evident threats. The woman smacked a button on the controls, yelling through the speaker before cutting all communication. Large satellites bearing nets would attempt to apprehend the intruder, but the spacepod was too deep and entered the Lupin IV’s atmosphere in a matter of seconds.
Ivan had been sitting within a command center on the ground, reading the radars to determine the intruder’s landing location. He had attempted to communicate but...
“I want my daughter!” the feminine voice growled through the speaker before shutting off communication. The Doctor shrugged his shoulders behind his colleague, his reptilian tail slithering behind him with curiosity. He did not know what the message could have meant, but AEVA and Ivan had a pretty good idea of just who they had been dealing with. The scientist’s lips curled into a mischievous grin that made him seem less than inhuman. However, despite the titillating thrill of what he planned to do with his visitor, his mind was also concerned about the fact that someone was able to find their location. The entire purpose of inhabiting Lupin IV was not just to boast the scientist’s ego, but a strategic maneuver as preparation for the time they decided to strike. Ivan and the android would make many enemies across the galaxy and expected to be sought after once they commenced operations; the fact that someone was able to locate them so soon was a matter which greatly interested him. Without further ado, he moved out, briskly walking out of the facility to meet their guest.
The spacepod landed on the outskirts of Avalon. Steam rose from the etches of the spherical capsule, twisting in the air. The hatch opened, a woman had stepped out and met with a man with silver hair and skin. His penetrating yellow eyes were something most feared. “You have entered our atmosphere uninvited and cratered our land.” Zalam’gar hissed as he unsheathed his rapier from its scabbard. “Tell me why I shouldn’t kill you now.”
The woman fringed her eyebrows and grimaced at the elven man. “I have come for my daughter! Return her to me!”
Zalam’gar raised his eyebrow and lowered his rapier. ”Your daughter? he said in disbelief. He had been unaware of the bio-android’s captivity. Ivan had kept her presence secret –as well as Ona’s Laboratory and the gruesome things that were taking place within the cold and isolated walls of the aforementioned facility. Only moments later, a large black ship would land within the vicinity. Ivan and AEVA would walk out of the vehicle, and Model Zero joined them soon after. “Ivan- Your majesty, this intruder claims to seek her daughter.” he said, hoping to be enlightened by their new ruler. The scientist glanced at him and smiled dryly.
“We’ll take it from here, Zalam’gar,” the king said dismissively. His tone made the konatsian’s blood boil, gritting his teeth and twitching his eyes, he was evidently displeased with the treatment he had received. Regardless, he had agreed to a pact and entrusted the affairs of their world to the scientist. Zalam’gar reluctantly stepped out, and approached the android instead.
“Zero, what’s going on?” he inquired.
Model Zero looked at him; his facial expressions were as stoic and dull as ever. However, the android offered more to the konatsian than their ruler; that said, it was not all necessarily the truth. ”We have discovered an unidentified person not of this world. For security reasons, we have kept her contained for questioning. I believe this is her mother coming to vouch for her daughter’s innocence.”
AEVA stepped in, “We value your contribution Zalam’gar, however, we have everything under control now.”
The konatsian shift his gaze between the two androids. Tsk! Still unsatisfied, but submissive, he left the area. With Zalam’gar out of the way, Ivan turned his attention to the intruder. “I believe you to be Dr. Kokoro, correct?”
A few days had passed since Dr. Kokoro was apprehended by the Ivan Regime. The scientist had many things to do before he could devote his attention to the intruder and so had postponed the questioning. Furthermore, he wanted to give Ona more time to investigate the bio-android’s body uninterrupted.
“Let go of me!” Dr. Kokoro protested as AEVA shoved her into the flyer. She collapsed on the floor and turned to growl back quickly. She had been fed the minimum for the survival, but purposefully weakened to make her more submissive. The woman proved to be a gutsy one as she did not fear those clearly stronger than her. Upon her arrival, she seemed unfazed by the silver man unsheathing his rapier before her, and even now she resisted against the likes of AEVA and Model Zero. The room was maintained dark and ominous as the ship began to accelerate towards Mount Hielo. Looking up, she could vaguely make out the silhouette of the scientist that had greeted her prior, but the shadows that shrouded his figure kept her guessing. It wasn’t until the object spoke that it became personified and real.
“How did you find us?” Ivan said blandly. The tone of his voice and the posture he stood was intimidating. He hoped to scare her into submission and avoid any drastic measures. –No, the twisted scientist of a man licked his lips with anticipation; he wanted her to rebel. He wanted his hand forced. “I just happened to stroll by,” she hissed, bearing her teeth with contempt like a ravenous mutt. Her personality pleased the scientist and ruler. He couldn’t put his finger on it, but something about Dr. Kokoro felt refreshing; perhaps, it was the fact that she didn’t simply kneel before him and do as he asked. Yes, Ivan preferred loyalty and submission, but it was almost a waste of his mental capacity if he always had his way without resistance. In part, that may have been the reason why he allowed the former cardinal to speak to him as she would.
The scientist approached the beaten woman and crouched just inches from her face. His hazel and blue eyes became evident in the dim light. “Unfortunately, Dr. Kokoro, I already know more about you than you may think. I know you used to work for NEON on Earth and I know that you escaped to Alpha Prime with your daughter in order to survive. If you do not provide me with answers worthy of my time, I may lose my patience.” He said the last word with a soothing smile which was clearly fake. “And then what, I die?” Dr. Kokoro said, “I won’t say a thing until my daughter is returned to me safely!” Ivan’s smile faded and in its place a dry and quiet stare. Looking into the woman’s eyes, he could almost smell the fear that irradiated from her and yet she refused to budge. The woman was a smart cookie. She knew what had been keeping her alive and she did not plan on throwing away what could be her ticket out of the planet. Unfortunately for her, nobody would be leaving the planet alive...
Model Zero stepped forward. Having been present when the bio-android’s stomach began to flicker green, he had matched the pieces together as soon as they approached the intruder. “I believe she implanted a tracking device onto the bio-android; a mechanism within her body went off almost as soon as I detected the woman’s presence.” Ivan’s face lit up with glee, his eyes never faltering from its intimate connection with the woman. “Ah! Answers!” “The bio-android? Muneate? Do you mean my daughter!?”
The scientist stood from his crouched position and pensively strolled with his back turned on the woman. “So, Muneate is the thing’s name, eh? Poor thing. She was such a frail little thing. Fortunately, she had a mother scientist who saved her through sheer desperation. I believe you used a saiyan, giran, and a caballye, no?” The man glanced back at the woman with a wide cheshire grin that extended from ear to ear. He resembled the devil with his red skin. Ivan was not looking for confirmation when he asked about the composition of the bio-android’s body, but offered it as a demonstration that he now knew everything he needed to know.
AEVA, Ivan, Model Zero, and Dr. Kokoro would soon arrive at Ona’s laboratory. Reminded of the former cardinal’s concern for privacy, the group had already removed their data from the systems and waited at the door until passage was cleared. After which, everyone would enter the facilities to greet the woman. "Ona, I am very excited to learn what you have discovered. I've brought you a present," he said, pointing towards the woman behind him. "This is Dr. Kokoro. The creator of this bio-android."

Despite what Zero might have anticipated as her reaction, a light chuckle comes from his fellow android. Like his attempt at a joke it was a calculated decision, the noise more to mock his attempt at humor. On top of it all the sound was not because of his joke, but because of the sentence that followed it. He was an android, but it was clear why he still served a master. The potential to be something greater was no doubt hidden within him, yet he lacked the insight to draw it forth. If he truly wished to meet Warlock than he was a fool like the rest. Still working on the specimen before her, she speaks again, hands continued to finger through the girls insides and document her findings.
“You think she would make a good asset. I believe you mistake what type of individual the woman is; she is an asset to no one save Aon himself. On top of that, you would never meet her unless she wanted you too. Tread carefully here Zero.” The warning, for that is what it was, showed Ona did have some respect for whomever or whatever Warlock was. Her decision to leave the Universal Church of One had not been made lightly. An individual capable and powerful enough to lead such an organization was not to be underestimated on any level.
When her constantly questioning counterpart finally left her to her work, Ona continued tirelessly. Muneate herself had to be sustained with an IV so that she did not waste away with the time spent splayed open on the operating table. Traits were noted, the signal sent out from within the girl cataloged and yet surprisingly few questions were asked by the ex-cardinal. From her experiences, the android found it much more effective to draw all her own assessments first before questioning a subject. This process allowed her to make unbiased notes and observations which could then be checked against the answers to question. Such a method allowed her to more easily see through lies.
When the group finally arrived, one she sensed coming long before they actually requested to enter, One made them wait a full fifteen minutes before opening the door. Having informed them to do so, she went about activating the lights and several other tasks before the locked doors of her lab slid open. Muneate, the girl sewn back up and left scar less thanks to precise laser work, sat suspended in a tank. Mask on her fast, the girl wore nothing else, her body floating in the greenish liquid that filled the tank. Through the mask she was provided air and regular nutrients, but also drugs to keep her completely docile. As the group entered, Ona was tapping away on one of the many terminals.
“You created this girl Dr. Kokoro. According to her, that makes you her mother, is that true?” The blunt question the first thing to roll over the android’s blue lips.

She didn’t hear the android. Ona’s words phased right through the woman’s ears as her eyes fixated on the image of her exposed daughter floating inside some tank in a reclusive laboratory. Her eyes, wide as a deer, she approaches the tank with shivering hands reaching for the glass. “What have you done to her…” she uttered. The only indication that the girl might still live was the oxygen mask strapped onto her face. At last, she felt a modicum of relief for finding her daughter after nearly half a year searching for her; but the sensation would soon pass and evolve into anger as her eyebrows fringed and she frowned.
“Don't look at her!” she exclaimed, glaring back at the only ‘living being’ standing in the room. Dr. Ivan was a renowned scientist and had somehow managed to surround himself with feminine androids. There was only that red one which caused her to doubt, but its long golden hair was too conspicuous. In her eyes, the scientist stood a perverted sociopath. Model Zero darted his eyes away from the container almost as if she were speaking to him directly. He didn’t know why he averted his eyes, but it just seemed to happen on its own.
“You will answer whatever we ask of you,” Ivan demanded. He was unfazed by the woman’s display of anger and hatred. His lips curled into a discreet grin. He was also unconcerned with the bio-android floating inside the tank.
“I will not answer ANYTHING, until you return my daughter!”
“So she is your daughter.” AEVA commented. Ivan grinned, although they already knew Dr. Kokoro to be the creature’s mother, he did not understand why Ona would choose that as her first question. Perhaps she was using the criterion of truth on the scientist, tailoring a series of questions that determine when the woman spoke the truth or not. Dr. Kokoro grit her teeth and scowled at the mechanical woman.
“Listen, Dr. Kokoro, I don’t think I need to tell you this again. You are in no condition to make demands. You will answer all of our questions if you wish your daughter released without harm.” The scientist locked his hands behind his back as he spoke with chin raised. He had the control in this situation and he would make sure the woman understood this. They were in an isolated planet –the last of its solar system, in an isolated island, within a locked facility and three androids surrounding her; thought of escape was a little more than wishful thinking. The woman conceded.

Ona stood in silence as the woman put on her display, the act having no effect on the android at all. Assuming it was a calculated act was her own assumption of course, yet to be fully confirmed. Emotion was not something Ona possessed, but she felt that she understood it. As smart as this woman was supposed to be, it made no sense that she would revert to such a chaotic state at the sight of her perfectly find daughter. She was in a lab, stored away in a test tube like so many other experiments spent their lives, but she was completely fine. Not a mark was left on her from the androids experiments and not a piece was missing. What else could one ask for from a doctor working on a subject? Knowledge had been gain and nothing lost in exchange...unless you counted Muneate ' s freedom of course. Then again, that was never something the girl truly possessed.
"She is your daughter then. During out time together she has told me much about her history and rebirth. I would like to confirm that from the mouth of her creator. You are that in two senses are you not? Her biological mother and her creator as she stands now." As she spoke the android silently glided towards the woman, bright blue eyes never leaving her face. Always observing and always reading those around her, Ona was tracking the woman's facial expressions for any hint of actions betraying her words. So aware of her surroundings, she had not missed the tone of superiority in Ivan's voice or the way Zero had looked away from the naked form of Muneate. Perhaps there was another experiment that the doctor should be focused on.
Part of her wanted to experiment on the woman herself. There was much to compare between the two of them. Real mother in the general tense or not, there was a very real possibility that they shared DNA. Ona considered herself a practicer of all branches of science, but she was admittedly limited in that of creation. Androids had been made in the past, that was simple. Artificial life was easy to program and control, but something like the subject she had been given was far more complicated. For this reason she was keeping the girl alive and would proceed to do so indefinitely. Such a subject was not to be wasted. Now the question was if she would be allowed the same control over the girl's mother. Ivan always had his plans and schemes so she wasn't entirely sure if the woman was part of them. If not...she would be hers.
Honestly if it were not for Model Zeros strange loyalty to the man, she would have already taken him out. Unfortunately, until Zero realized more about himself things would remain this way. Her data on the red android was limited, but she had her theory in place and well supported. Ivan was playing Zero. Like with everything else though, Ona would wait, time was never an issue.

Dr. Kokoro grimaced as the orange haired android approached her. Eyes as cold as ice seemed to stare right through her soul. Shivers run down the woman’s spine, and her knees tempt to quiver. The woman pinches her thigh in an effort to keep her composure and controls her breathing to lower her accelerated blood pressure. Despite the inherent fear, Dr. Kokoro’s gaze would not falter. Here she finally found her daughter and the only thing standing between them was a glass wall. Desperately, her eyes scan her surroundings for anything which could be used as a weapon. Unfortunately, Ona’s laboratory was kept clean; partially because its construction had just been finalized a few days prior and Ona was the only inhabitant within the entire facility.
As Ona continued to approach the scientist like a vulture assessing it’s pray, Dr. Kokoro would carefully shift towards the nearest table. Ivan’s smug expression never ceased. He welcomed any attempt at escape, he thought it would be entertaining to watch the woman vainly struggle to overpower three androids at the same time. AEVA herself would be enough to keep her in check and she was, clearly, the weakest among them. Zero would not even act, knowing that anything the scientist tried would be of no consequence to Ona. The former cardinal was more than a scientist, she knew how to throw a punch. Regardless, in Dr. Kokoro’s mind, she thought that all he had to do was free her daughter from the tank and escape would be within her grasp. Perhaps it was the absence of a scouter, her motherly love towards the child, or just human emotions as a whole which made her believe that her bio-android could stand up to all of them at once. A mother always thought their child to be special compared to the rest.
Suddenly, Dr. Kokoro lost her balance and collapsed with a yelp. Ivan had already demonstrated that they knew virtually everything they needed to know about her and Muneate, yet the android insisted on hearing her speak. “You already know the answer!” she barked in rebuke to the android. Dr. Kokoro soon climbed to her knees and swiftly slid her shoe off, tossing it at the former cardinal as if the shoe itself would purge and rip her face cleanly off her shoulders. In that instant, she lunged towards the table and grabbed the biggest and shiniest object her hands came across. Chances are, whatever it was, it would be hard and metallic. The scientist would then charge at the large tank that imprisoned her daughter and slammed the object against the glass.
Ivan raised his gaze. He might have been partially startled by her sudden erratic motions, but there was nothing to be afraid of. The glass in which Muneate was contained was much stronger than it appeared. Someone of trivial strength such as scientists as themselves could never hope to crack it.

Physiological assessment complete. Results…disappointing.
Organic species as a whole were weak things, both in body and mind. Throughout the Universe there were of course exceptions, but all of those were so few and far between when the entire population was considered. Those like the Muzai Clan or Hattori bloodline possessed the genes to evolved and grow stronger beyond the norm, yet even with such strength and influence they had the weakness of their fragile emotions. The greatest of warriors could be brought to his or her knees with the right words or give into emotion if played the right way. Even creatures with moderately impressive intelligence, like Ona assumed this woman had, were fragile in the right circumstances.
When Dr. Kokoro went down, the android didn’t even flinch. Whether her heel had broken, she had simply lost her balance or it had all been on purpose the ex-cardinal had no reason to be concerned. The projectile that was the woman’s shoe, something so juvenile, soared right towards the female androids face. The heel never struck its intended target of course, a pale hand easily intercepting it several inches from the expressionless features of android. As Dr. Kokoro lunged for the table and proceeded to dash towards the tank, Ona’s hands snaps forward. Far stronger than her counterpart, the speed at which the shoe travelled was more than enough to drop the woman to the floor when it hit the back of her head, stopping her several feet short of the targeted tank.
Such an act was below her really, yet the simplest way to bring the woman down. She had hoped for so much more of a conversation to further test the woman’s mental state to perhaps gain insight into Muneate’s creation, but sadly that was not to be so. If she had thought the woman so fragile she would have sedated her right off the bat, perhaps even given her something to calm her nerves so she could be questions without such an outburst as the result.
As the woman dropped to the ground, Ona shifts her eyes back towards Model Zero, AEVA and Ivan.
“Please forgive me, that was a bit barbaric, but when dealing with animals one sometimes has to revert to such means. Zero, bring her to the table I had Muneate on before.” While she cared little if she had offended any of them with such an act, she had an image to preserve and knocking out subjects in such a brutish manner was not part of it. With the order given to Model Zero, Ona begins to head towards the table herself, looking to further study the newest specimen she had been given.
