‘Wake up.’
The voice cut through the silence causing Kurosanai to snap awake. His eyes were only greeted by a white void and the feeling of being fully refreshed. Closing his eyes once again he tried to focus his mind to try and figure out where he was. The only thing that he could fully remember was making it onto the ship with Conri on his shoulders. After that everything was just a black void.
‘He is fine. You managed to get him into a healing chamber.’ The voice said from behind Kurosanai. Sitting up with a groan and then twisting the young prodigy could see that there was in fact a body to the voice which meant that he had not fully lost his mind yet. Standing just a few yards off in his normal very simplistic clothes was Fujin Muzai. His arms were crossed in front of his chest with his own Aoiro no Tsuitsata fully activated. Just staring into the founder of the modern Muzai clan’s eyes was unlike something he had ever experienced before. Though they were near identical in design to that of Kuro’s eyes, Fujin’s eyes seemed to have a quality that was almost beyond words. They seemed bolder and more brilliant than his ever were. Perhaps it was the confidence that was latent within them or the power that lay behind them.
Slowly climbing to his feet he saw something that was different about the founder than usual. He seemed more solid almost as if he was no longer a spirit that sat in between planes but rather a being that could walk beside him in the mortal realm once more. His skin was brighter and his clothes seemed more crisp than normal.
“Well I guess that is good…” Kurosanai started.
‘We are not here to talk about the Saiyan though.’ Fujin cut off. His words were abrasive yet had a hint of pain lingering within them somewhere. He took several steps forward and the world seemed to react to each step. Changing and altering its makeup. No longer did the sound echo as if they were within a cavernous space and the upper part of the white void began to turn to a very light shade of blue.
“Then what are we here to talk about?” Kurosanai asked as he shifted a bit. The way that the man moved towards the prodigy seemed to emit the vibe that he was about to strike out of anger, out of pain.
‘We are here to talk about you first brush with war.’ Fujin responded curtly. There was something truly off with him. He was never like this any of the past encounters that they had had whether or he truly remembered them. ‘You have gotten your first taste.’
Kurosanai was not entirely sure how to react. He had every intention of forgetting about the war that he was unfortunate enough to take part in. The prodigy shook his head as he began to try to shake the memories that haunted the corners of his mind. “Personally I would just prefer to forget that it even happened and move on with my life.” To this Fujin’s expression only hardened and Kuro was unsure of how to respond. Thankfully he changed the subject before he had to explain himself.
‘Tell me do you know my full story of my life?’ Fujin asked.
“The one where you single handedly helped unite the world under one banner again before getting betrayed?” Kuro questioned. Fujin chuckled to himself before shifting his weight and approaching the prodigy.
‘It figures. My sons would remove the elements that they did not see fitting. They were always trying to build something out of nothing. Rather pathetic especially since they did not meet their full potential.’ Fujin shook his head. ‘The truth of the matter was that I did not unite the planet by myself. In fact without my allies at my back I doubt we would have made it past the first battle.’ With a twirl of his fingers a very diverse group appeared before the prodigy. Looking over the figures that appeared before him Kurosanai could not even fathom how a group such as this came to be.
“This is…these people are…” Kurosanai stammered.
‘Unique.’ Fujin stated before stepping front of the figures that had appeared. ‘Let me introduce you to the ones that made my legendary story possible.’
Motioning to the first figure with his hand as he continues, ‘This is Takamatsu, she was one of the greatest minds that Earth has ever seen. She was known for her immense knowledge of cybernetics. To her credit she created some nanobots that stood as the height of technology for close to three hundred years along with something that drastically changed the course of history.’ The woman stood about five foot eight, had jet black hair that was pulled back into a pony tail that ended just below her shoulder blades, adorned on her waist was a belt full of various devices that Kurosanai could not even fathom did and a large rifle looking device.
The creature that stood next to her was something that Kurosanai had only seen a handful of times in person. It was a namekian, a very small namekian; it stood perhaps only five foot five inches and was adorned in traditional namekian robes. ‘This is Pokun. He had arrived on Earth only two years before I met him. His heart was the only thing that ever bypassed his smile. Using his healing abilities he managed to keep us together long enough to actually bring peace to this planet.’ Turning to his right stood a creature that Kurosanai had absolutely no idea what it was. Bones protruded through the skin of what looked like a human but had spots of tinged purple on his face. ‘His name is Ollpheist. Before you ask he is not a demon or even human for that matter. He is an alien known as a Hone Akuma. There is no other way to describe it than he used his own bones as weapons. He was able to pull the very bones out of his body and use them as weapons. I have never seen something like that before or ever since. Apparently the Hone Akuma are near extinct but are very long lived. They can live for close to six hundred years. By the time we met he was three hundred seventy-four. We initially met as opponents on the battlefield but when I managed to best him in battle, barely, he agreed to fight by my side. This is one of the few men in all of my memories that I would never want to fight again.’
‘Next up is Ananora. There is no other way to describe her as a magical demoness. Growing up we were the closest of friends but it was that very magic that I used to be envious of that caused me my greatest pain.’ The human female had burning red hair, adorned in dark purple fitted robes that displayed an enviable body. The very air of just looking at her seemed to project something of a mysticism that confounded Kurosanai. ‘The final member of our group was one that caused us all a great deal amount of pain. His name is Longo and was regarded as the juggernaut for the longest time. Like Ollpheist he was brought into our group due to a losing on the battlefield. Unlike Ollpheist though Longo and I never got along and I was only too happy to see what became of him.’ Longo stood easily close to seven feet tall, and was just a wall of muscle. His red skin seemed to broodingly glow as his white only eyes stared straight forward.
‘It is with this group that I brought peace to Earth. Of course that was a trip in and of itself,’ Fujin sighed as he looked to his friends. ‘It all started in a small village nestled the hills of one of the few quieter places in the world. Even though we were farther from the front lines than many others were lived in constant few that an army would appear over the horizon one day. It was how everyone thought during the Era of Shifting Sands. No one was safe and no one maintained power for long. It was there that I grew up alongside Ananora. We were the best of friends and vowed that one day we would leave our little village to see the world. For many years we played and trained together. Her developing upon her near infinite potential for magic while I trained in more traditional arts. When we turned seventeen we bid farewell to the village and went to explore. For the next several months we would wander just exploring the kingdom.’
“You wandered?” Kurosanai questioned.
‘We wandered for a time eventually coming to a city where we met Takamatsu. Her brilliance was astounding as she began to work on something that she said would bring peace to the world for generations, personally I was skeptical but little did I know what she had planned. It was her that instilled the idea of uniting the world under one banner once again and bringing peace to it. She was that one that gave me the idea to try and become what I could be.’ Fujin sighed as he looked over at the unmoving image of Takamatsu. ‘We ended up joining the local lord’s army as it began to struggle on the front lines as we saw it as the only way to get our feet wet. Shortly before leaving for deployment we ran into Pokun who had volunteered to help heal the wounded alongside the other medics. Instantly we had a bond form. It would prove to be lucky we had them. We were deployed to the front lines along the border knowing that we were outnumbered but not vastly. It was feasible to win; in fact we even had the advantageous position…’
“What happened?” Kurosanai asked.
‘It became a slaughter. Shortly after the battle started the commanding officers were killed and the lower officers proved to be inept and our forces began to route. It was in that despair that I tried to step forward and lead, luckily I was half way decent. I managed to turn the tide and win the day. Following that we pushed into the neighboring kingdom and it quickly caved. The lord of my own kingdom, who was little better than a military despot, saw my potential and gave me a high command position. There I would begin to work with Ananora to develop new powerful techniques that I could use in possible one on one combats. You see not everyone wanted to throw troops needlessly at each other. Instead what they did was have their high commanding officers fight each other, whoever lost had to surrender their entire kingdom to the winner.’ Fujin scoffed as he began to walk over to Kurosanai. ‘It was little better than barbarians fighting each other with measuring sticks. My own local lord though wanted something that no one had ever seen before and tasked myself and Ananora to develop something new.’ Fujin stopped short of Kurosanai. ‘What we came up with was my fighting style, the very one that carries on through our blood. The one that you still have not perfected.’
Kurosanai seemed taken aback at the comment as he was unsure of what to say as the limited nature of the information regarding his fighting style’s inner workings. The knowledge of the levels that Fujin himself only accessed were lost long ago. Perhaps that was be design or by fate either way there was no way that Kurosanai could know how to perfect it.
“How can I perfect something I don’t have knowledge of? It was all lost long ago.”
‘It was not lost. I chose not to pass it down. I wanted to pick those that proved themselves worthy to learn it. You are at the level that my sons were at. The level that I am at requires one final piece of knowledge and understanding.’ Fujin replied.
“How do I get it?”
‘I give it to you.’ Fujin pressed his index and middle finger to Kurosanai’s forehead. Instantly images of the ki network flashed before his eyes. His mind seemed to be able to intuitively begin to pick out the spots in which it was weakest, how to exploit it in a manner no one had seen Fujin’s era. He felt a sense of power pass through him before Fujin lifted his finger and turned back to the group. ‘That is the final piece of knowledge you need to fully exploit the fighting style. In exchange for this knowledge you will have to prove yourself to me. But first you listen to the ending of my true story.’ Fujin stated as he looked over his shoulder. ‘Where the last true tyrant of Earth originated.’

Yawarakai Fighting Style (Muzai Clan Affiliation Only)
a.k.a Soft Fist (Tier Three):
Perfection: With the perfection of this style the user becomes almost like a walking weapon. The effects of the ki strikes become much deadlier and drastically more powerful. Now all successful strikes not only block the flow of ki to that body area for one post but now the attacks have an after effect of limiting ki flow to three quarters of their normal flow for a second post. Also increased exposure to a high number of successful strikes now inflicts serious damage to the user. The damage increases from each attack and so does the possible loss of mobility. (Can only be learned after all body knowledge areas are unlocked and Adept and Expert have been learned.)
