Snow left Blizzard in Rain's capable hands and trudged out of his small apartment complex he walked, yes walked, three blocks blocks until he came to a massive set of towers owned by the great the great Lord Arctic. As he approached the buildings he stepped past many other Icers of various shapes and sizes and into the main building where the Omega Collective's relatively few justice keepers came. A few Icers looked at him as he stepped beyond their desks, and the regular areas where most of the keepers of justice in the Omega Collective gathered information. He went right past them and into the areas where the palace quarters were.
Two Icer guards stopped him and raised their hands at him whilst announcing, "Who are you and why are you here? The leader of the Icejins has no time to see a weakling."
"I am Snow, an Icer of relatively low rank, but I have been on inactive duty for a little while. I would like to speak with the king, er lord, about getting new orders and how to go about doing this. I figured it would be okay to talk to the highest management in our little planetary system to find out where I belong now." Snow told them this with confidence and watched their hands lower. They had been ready to blast him, but Snow's words seemed to work slightly on them.
"Well, we cannot assure you a meeting with the king, but maybe meeting with his son Sleet shall do." the guards told him. They then proceeded to turn around and head past some doors leaving Snow to wait. He felt no reason to follow them because if he did he would be stepping into territory he was not supposed to be in. One step beyond the current post he was in would make him enter the PTO's inner chambers.

The Icejin Lord sat in a black leather chair, The room filled with elite Icejin warriors. To his left was the Icejin Queen, the only person sitting in this room that he would give his life for, to his right was an empty chair. Sleet, his son was supposed to be here during these gatherings, but apparently he had other things to take care of. Finally the last Icejin finished speaking, each warrior informing their Lord of things going on around Beta Minor. With a wave of his hand all the other Icejin’s left the room, leaving the Lord and Queen to remain.
”Where is our son? Where is Sleet? He is supposed to be here when these things take place. His random disappearances are getting on my nerves. How am I supposed to leave all this to him one day if he can’t even show up when called?” Arctic said slamming his fist onto the table.
”Calm down Arctic, Sleet is probably taking care of something. I am sure he didn’t mean to miss this.”
Arctic turned to face his Queen, she had more compassion for their Son. Arctic would protect his son no matter what, but he wasn’t going to coddle him. He needed to know how the world acts, and it surely doesn’t coddle you. Arctic had to fight and even kill people to get to where he was, he was a warrior and he would make sure his son was as well.
”You give our son more faith then he deserves, he is going to pay for being late.” Arctic turned around, pushing open two glass doors that led to a balcony. ”If one day he is going to be the head of the PTO, then he is going to have to actually make his presence known. Look at all of this my Queen, I was not handed this. I had to fight my way to the top, I had to earn my place.”
Following Arctic outside the Queen placed a hand on his shoulder ”I know what you had to do my Lord, I was right there with you. You have done a marvelous job with Beta Minor, it is only a matter of time before you get Alpha Prime.” The Queen said wrapping her arms around one of Arctic’s.
Arctic grabbed the railing, looking down at the people in Beta Minor. The majority of the population was Icejin, but there was also a few alien races appearing and to the Lord’s surprise even some Humans. Suddenly the doors to the head chambers opened, The Queen turned around, informing Arctic as too who entered.
“My Lord we were going to just have this matter get solved by your son Sleet, but we can’t seem to find him anywhere. Snow is waiting at the entrance to the building, he said something about wanting to get taken off active duty.”
Upon hearing the name Snow, Arctic’s grip on the railing became tighter. The railing was beginning to break underneath his hands. The Queen, realizing his anger, quickly began to calm Arctic down.
”Let Snow in, tell him to head to this room, and that our Lord wishes to speak to him.”
With that the two guards exited the room.

When the guards returned they told Snow that Arctic, the king, and the queen were waiting to see him on the balcony, and that it was urgent he come as soon as possible. Snow nodded to the guards and followed behind them with his tail wagging back and forth with a sense of happiness. It was not often a common Icer got to speak with the last known king of the Icejins or the royal family.
He stepped through a set of glass doors and past three leather chairs sitting on a marbled floor. He smiled and thought to himself, "If I had this kind of posh apartment my glory and name would be etched forever onto the walls of time. Unfortunately, I had to have a cruddy wife whose ambitions were anything but crazy."
Upon reaching another glass door the guards opened it, then stood to the side while Snow walked in to face the back of the king and his wife. He knelt before them silently and voiced, "I have come as you asked. What would you like from me Lord Arctic. I have had nothing to do for quite a while and I am in need of some action wherever you would like to send me."

The sounds of screams were deafening in the dungeon. Sleet had been down their for quite some time. He loved to personally torture information from captured enemies before finally 'disposing' of them. The room was dark with very poor illumination. His unfortunate victim for this evening was an alien scout. Not very common in this sector of the galaxy. Sleet sat in his royal hover-chair of black and gold, and peered at the alien scum. "So let's go over this again shall we," Sleet said in an irritated monotone voice. Sleet had been at this for the past hour, and he was stating to get tired of the same thing. Sleet sighed and said, "You know what? Never mind. I am tired of this and I have had enough of being nice. I am just going to kill you now as you obviously are of no use to me anymore." Sleet then held up his left hand charged a purple ki blast. Sleet smiled for a moment and then said, "Goodbye you worthless waste of space." Sleet then blasted the scout into dust. The explosion of the blast rang throughout the dungeon and a silence fell upon the dungeon.
Sleet was on his way back to his room, when he was approached by a royal guard with an urgent message. "Lord Sleet! I am sorry to inturrupt you my Lord but King Arctic has demanded your presence," the guard said with haste. The look on Sleet's face was one of irritation and a hint of fear. He had just remembered that he had to be in the Royal chamber. He had been so busy with this torturing that he had lost track of time. Sleet then quickly made his way toward the royal chamber in a hurried fashion.
The door swung open and Sleet came in just as others were leaving. He could see the look of anger in his father's eyes. A look, that Sleet was personally quite familiar with. Sleet got out of his hover-chair and walked over to his seat in the throne room and sat down promptly in his black leather chair. "Sorry for my tardiness father. I lost track of time. You know how time can slip by when you are torturing someone," Sleet said with a smirk. "So what did I miss?," Sleet added.
Sleet then noticed one of his subjects kneeling before his mother and father. Sleet wondered as to his purpose for being here in front of his parents. Sleet waited for his father to say something, for he wasn't quite sure what was going on. This was what he got for not being on time. He had hoped his mother could spare him from his father's wrath.

Arctic stood at the edge of the balcony, hands still gripping the railing. The Queen’s hands still wrapped around his arm. For the first time in a while, Arctic felt relaxed. He wished he could stay right here for longer, but he knew at any moment Snow was going to enter. Snow had given Arctic trouble when he was a child, blowing up part of Bata Minor. Something that Arctic wasn’t going to forget, Snow may have done his time for that, but that meant little to the Lord. Even thinking about Snow, Arctic’s body became tense, his blood began to boil. He could think of a much better use for his time than talking to Snow.
”Relax my Lord, just hear Snow out, what could it possibly do to see what he wants?”
”Snow better not waste my time, with this pointless meeting. He better be here for a good reason, time is precious and I don’t like mine getting wasted.”
”Snow has kept his distance for some time now my Lord. Maybe it is time to give him something to do? You need strong fighters in your army if you plan on taking Alpha Prime.”
”Snow, a strong fighter? Don’t make me laugh, he is more like cannon fodder. Snow is just a pawn, nothing more.”
Arctic looked back out to the city, admiring what he built. Alpha Minor was within his reach, and all he needed to do was take it. He thought about what his Queen has said, maybe Snow could be of some use after all. The thought sickened Arctic, in his mind Snow was nothing but a failure, almost as bad as his son Sleet. The only reason his Sleet is higher rank than Snow is because he is Arctic’s son. Arctic released his grip from the railing, just in time to hear the balcony doors opening. Arctic knew who was behind him, none other than the weakling Snow.
"I have come as you asked. What would you like from me Lord Arctic. I have had nothing to do for quite a while and I am in need of some action wherever you would like to send me."
”Well Snow I am sure our Lord can find something for you to do. You have indeed had nothing to do for some time now, and I think that is about to change.” The Queen stated looking back at Arctic
Arctic slowly turned around, to see Snow kneeling before him, just as he was about to say something. Doors to the Throne room opened up, Arctic’s son Sleet came through, sitting in a hover chair. Arctic shot Sleet a look, Arctic wanted nothing more than too launch a set of eye beams at his son. Maybe then that would teach him to show up on time and not make a fool of himself. Arctic’s anger grew as he watched his Son move from one char to another.
"Sorry for my tardiness father. I lost track of time. You know how time can slip by when you are torturing someone, so what did I miss” his son said
”Is that all you do Sleet? Waste time! How the hell do you think you are going to be able to run anything if you don’t show up! Your presence was needed here today and what were you doing? Torturing someone in the dungeons! When are you ever going to learn!?” Arctic stepped toward his son, but before he could say anything else the Queen quickly made her was over to Sleet.
”I am sure our son didn’t mean to upset you my lord, I am sure he was trying to get information to help you.” The Queen said placing a hand on Sleet’s shoulder ”I am sure he won’t make the same mistake again. You have a more important matter to deal with, what are you going to have Snow do?”
”I don’t know, Snow what do you think you can handle? Maybe I should assign him to Sleet, maybe then he will actually show up when called. So Snow, you want something to do, something to take care of?”
Arctic began to think of tasks for Snow to complete in his head

Snow listened to the King and Queen's words and let them all sink in as he walked towards the two members of royalty and their chamber's balcony. He could hear their conversation coming from the balcony only because the glass was thin. His ears picked up Snow and weak, so he could only assume one thing. The King, Arctic, highly mocked him for his power since he was still so weak after years of training; although, if this were true or not in their eyes was not certain in Snow's mind. The Queen was a little more kind in offering him actual things to do, and of course, stayed on the objective he had come here to fulfill, which was to find something to do. At least from what he could hear, they were trying to find him something to do, maybe, while he stepped into their room and quickly bowed to them on his knees. It would not be polite to get up and greet the king as he entered due to his standing and history. And he hated the idea of sitting there eavesdropping on them.
When he actually did enter though Arctic and his Queen stood before him with their backs turned to him; their attitudes almost seemed to change immediately. The Queen then said, "Well Snow I am sure our Lord can find something for you to do. You have indeed had nothing to do for some time now, and I think that is about to change."
The king was going address him, but a fourth Icer entered the room's balcony, on a hover chair of all things, it was the King's son Sleet. He immediately took it upon himself to apologize as his father's angry eyes focused on him instead of Snow. "Is that all you do Sleet? Waste time! How the hell do you think you are going to be able to run anything if you don’t show up! Your presence was needed here today and what were you doing? Torturing someone in the dungeons! When are you ever going to learn!?" He yelled at his son. Snow could hear his foot steps as the large Icer approached the hover chair. They were very heavy and clearly belonged to a man with real power at his fingers.
The Queen began to console her son by stepping towards him and placing her hand on his shoulder. "I am sure our son didn’t mean to upset you my lord, I am sure he was trying to get information to help you. I am sure he won’t make the same mistake again. You have a more important matter to deal with, what are you going to have Snow do?" It clearly sounded like his father had an issue with him torturing people, as he should, Icejins likely did not go about publicly or secretly torturing people as often anymore as they did in the past and that was likely because the King wanted them to appear friendly towards the Saiyans since they were now "allies" of sorts, or at least somewhat friendly. These were the thoughts Snow had when he heard their argument and he could only wonder why his son was enjoying this. Snow did not have much of the evil lord stigmata going for him. Instead, he was a violent killer, or was at least rumored as such.
Snow grit his teeth as his eyes looked up at Arctic, the Queen, and Sleet. He was glad the Queen had switched their conversation back to him, but as the King turned and voiced, "I don’t know, Snow what do you think you can handle? Maybe I should assign him to Sleet, maybe then he will actually show up when called. So Snow, you want something to do, something to take care of?" Snow could only let his jaw go slack with a sigh.
"Sir, if you wish to assign me to anything the only thing I am good at is destroying buildings and killing women based on my past. I joined the military police here on Beta Minor, but they have not given me much to do recently. Likely, it is because they hate me over there. If you were to put me anywhere, please, please, please, do not let me babysit your son. I have a young son at home and cannot stand him half the time. That said, uh, just give me a job knocking down buildings in this city or on other planets, or just... Just let me get rid of those awful brothels and such on Alpha Prime."
Those words felt like a brilliant spark in Snow's mind. "Sir, actually, that is what I want to do. I want to destroy brothels and other places like that under your command. I wish to break up Icejin and non-Icejin couples with my bare hands if I have to and stomp the offender into the floor. For too long we've had Icejin families breeding with lesser scum. I'm sure that's why my wife made her insane plan a while back and I had to kill her. Pure blooded Icers like yourself are in short supply and we are such a lovely species, so why even pretend to continue liking the other, um, lesser creatures." What he was saying was incredibly radical it might even get him put in jail, but he was trying to spin his words kind of so he could get a reason to destroy a highly criminal place like Alpha Prime where aliens mixed without a care.

Sleet waited in his seat promptly for his father's wrath. The young prince knew all too well how his tyrannical father would react to his excuse. Sleet wasn't worried too much though, for his mother would always come to his defense and be the voice of reason. She was the only person that had ever stood up to the King. Only she could stay his hand and calm his rage. Sleet himself could not even accomplish this feat. Sleet was young, but not stupid and to say anything else would be most unwise of him when it came to his tardiness.
As expected, the following events unfolded to his expectations. His father blew up at him, almost to the point of a physical altercation. Sleet wouldn't be able to do anything against his father in his current state. It seemed like his father was going to strike him, but his mother intervened just in the nick of time. She could always be counted on. Sleet loved her very much; in fact, she was the only person he ever loved. Sleet use to love his father, but in the growing years that love became a loathing finally matured into hatred. Sleet didn't say anything to defend himself or his case. He simple just sat and waited for a moment.
A look of anger came over his eyes and he glanced away from his father and down to Snow. Sleet had been embarrassed by his father's chastising. This hadn't been the first occasion either, nor would it be the last. This would only compound his hatred for this father's abuse. Sleet inhaled a bit and then exhaled slowly to keep from forming an expression. He then heard his father's suggestion. 'A babysitter? This is ridiculous!' Sleet thought to himself. The young prince hated being looked after. This little 'watch-dog' would only get in his way. He didn't need a set of eyes snooping on him while he planned his father's demise.
Sleet wasn't going to outwardly oppose his father's command, but he would rectify it. He had to either terminate the new servant or turn him to his cause. One was risky while the other was a bit abrasive. Sleet pondered on how he would deal with this new issue; when he heard what Snow truly wanted to do. "Tell me Snow, how exactly would this benefit our the kingdom. I like the way you think; however, I think a brutal approach to this would be the wrong reaction. I say we should do it in a more... subtle fashion. Why don't we just triple the tax rate on mixed couples and create tax breaks for pure couples. This way we don't have to deal with militia's and rebel forces." Sleet then pondered how his father would react to his input.

That said, uh, just give me a job knocking down buildings in this city or on other planets, or just... Just let me get rid of those awful brothels and such on Alpha Prime."
Arctic listened to Snow go on and on about not wanting to be put as a babysitter for Sleet. The sight on Snow begging for Arctic not to put him in that position put a smirk on his face. It appeared he really didn’t want to be a babysitter, but then again since he already has experience with his own son, Arctic thought it would be a perfect fit. Arctic also contemplated letting Snow destroy unwanted establishments on Beta Prime, Snow already has experience in destroying pieces of it.
Acrtic continued to listen as Snow pleaded with him to let him destroy brothels, breakup icejin and non icejin couples. Snow then went on about how pure blooded Icejin like Arctic are far and few between. Arctic began to think about what Snow was saying, some of it even had some merit, better yet even piqued Arctic’s interest. Arctic knew he couldn’t just send Snow off disrupting the peace of Beta Prime because some useless Icejin don’t like breeding with their own kind. Before Arctic could speak, Sleet chimed in to the conversation.
"Tell me Snow, how exactly would this benefit our kingdom. I like the way you think; however, I think a brutal approach to this would be the wrong reaction. I say we should do it in a more... subtle fashion. Why don't we just triple the tax rate on mixed couples and create tax breaks for pure couples. This way we don't have to deal with militia's and rebel forces."
Arctic looked over at his son, surprised with what he had just said. His ideas were good, but they would have to be done with great care. Arctic looked back at Snow, who was still kneeling before him.
”So you would rather go around destroying brothel’s and breaking up couples than watch after Sleet? Well by how you desperately want me to give you some other assignment than watching Sleet. I will have to see what it is exactly what I want you to do Snow, but so far looking after Sleet seems like the perfect job for you.”
The Queen made her way over to Arctic, whispering in his ear ”What is it exactly you are trying to accomplish here?”
Whispering back ”Don’t worry about it my Queen, everything will be alright.”
Arctic turns his attention back to Sleet and Snow ”Now Sleet since you like the way Snow thinks, How should we execute your ideas without causing riots or disorder?”

Snow continued kneeling before the king and shook with fear. He thought the king might react differently to what he had said, but perhaps all Icejins liked causing as much destruction as Snow did, even if it was subtle. Destroying other kinds of aliens other than Icers, all who had been allowed to come to Beta Minor, was a very far fetched and risky plan to enact. Though on this matter Prince Sleet spoke to dissuade him from random destruction by telling him, "Tell me Snow, how exactly would this benefit our kingdom. I like the way you think; however, I think a brutal approach to this would be the wrong reaction. I say we should do it in a more... subtle fashion. Why don't we just triple the tax rate on mixed couples and create tax breaks for pure couples. This way we don't have to deal with militia's and rebel forces."
Prince Sleet had a strong point to make with his words as he sat in hover chair waiting for his father's outcome on the decision. He seemed to support this, but open violence was what he was against. It would likely destroy years of hard work done by his father. The King Arctic seemed to also agree with this for he looked at his son and then back at Snow before stating, "”So you would rather go around destroying brothel’s and breaking up couples than watch after Sleet? Well by how you desperately want me to give you some other assignment than watching Sleet. I will have to see what it is exactly what I want you to do Snow, but so far looking after Sleet seems like the perfect job for you.”
To see the king agree with Snow's ideas was good, but to be partnered with Prince Sleet made him worry. It was probably to balance out both Icejins' more destructive desires. Snow could also see the queen whisper something to her husband, but was unsure what her was saying. He whispered back to her before looking at both of them and saying, "Now Sleet since you like the way Snow thinks, How should we execute your ideas without causing riots or disorder?”
Snow stood up and answered, "If we intend to get rid of people that are, well, not Icejins... Then what I have said is probably not a smart idea, instead, why not attack a few specific targets, perhaps an event or a public trip is all we will need. Yet I'm sure you agree that having some of these lesser life forms around our asteroid belt is annoying." Snow raised his index finger into the air and added, "I believe some might have the potential to not be eradicated, the unique few, but we live quite close to areas like the Gamma Slums where common creatures live. If we are to be great we must get rid of a few of them."

Arctic waited for Sleet to respond, but nothing came from his son’s mouth, instead Snow stood up and began to speak. Snow began to speak about getting rid of people that aren’t Icejin, attacking specific targets. The thought of attacking non Icejin’s did pique Arctic’s interest, but still neither of them were telling him a way to do it without it leading back to him. The Icejin Lord continued to listen to Snow about his idea. About how a select few have the potential to not be eradicated. Next came talk about the Gamma Slums, a place Arctic had great distaste for.
Snow finished his little speech, obviously waiting for The Lord to respond. Instead of answering Snow right away, Arctic slowly walked up to Snow looking him right in the eyes. Arctic stood there, starring at Snow letting his power signature flare. Anything on the desk was instantly blown away. Arctic saw the look on Snow’s face, no doubt several questions were running through the smaller Icejin’s mind. Wondering if Arctic was going to strike him down for his s=comment about the lesser beings. Arctic smiled at Snow, slowly backing away from him.
”You know what Snow, maybe just maybe I should start giving you more credit. Maybe I should just let you take my position since it seems you have everything cleared up. You make it sound so simple, just eliminate the lesser beings why haven’t I thought of it.” Arctic walked back next to the Queen. ”But you see Snow, your little plan might seem like a good one, but around here we need to keep up appearances. I would like nothing more than to rid this rock of every non-Icejin, but you see we may need them in the future.”
”Snow your idea is a good one, but we would need to make sure that none of this gets back to our Lord. So it seems like you may have a task after all dear Snow. But this matter is going to have to be addressed after the Tournament.”
The Queen said walking over to Snow resting a hand on his shoulder.
” Ah I almost forgot about that, Thank you my Queen. Zex, the ruler of Alpha Prime is throwing some kind of Galactic tournament and the two of you are going to enter it. Also one of you are going to win that Tournament no matter what. Now since it is clearly obvious to me that neither of you are strong enough yet, we are going to go do a little training. So follow me.”
Arctic looked at both Snow and Sleet, motioning them to follow him.

While the king praised Snow's good ideas he simply listened and learned that in order to make even a speck of the ideas he and Sleet had blurted out real they would need to go ahead and plan. The king spoke of needing non-Icejins in the future, but that did not make sense to him entirely. Why did they need a plethora of weaklings? They had been housing them long enough and nothing about them really had changed.
The king's compliments were nice, but when the queen brought up the fact they would have to discuss this after a tourney Snow could not think but how unfortunate that was. He could feel the queen's hand wrap around his shoulder as he stayed still as a statue and could not help but think how cool it felt and what supple strength it possessed.
When the king stated, "Ah, I almost forgot about that, Thank you my Queen. Zex, the ruler of Alpha Prime is throwing some kind of Galactic tournament and the two of you are going to enter it. Also one of you are going to win that Tournament no matter what. Now since it is clearly obvious to me that neither of you are strong enough yet, we are going to go do a little training. So follow me.” Snow could not help but think that this was his do or die assignment of the day. Of course the king would send him to a tourney. He was a peon after all.
Snow noticed Arctic's beckoning hand and said as he stood before him, "I would be honored to go to this tournament my liege, and might I add you have a lovely wife. As she stands here next to me I cannot help but think what my wife could have been like if she had not become slightly crazy and had tried to assume control of my household."
He followed Arctic and cheerfully voiced, "If you would not mind, I would like to request that after this task, and a few others, if you could help me find a wife to help me raise my son. I don't want him inheriting anything of Hailey's other than her power, without the insanity behind it." Snow blamed her for her own death and never himself. It was not he who was insane he was logical since birth he had been beaten up to gain what little power he had. He had no ability to find a new wife, so he hoped the king could grant him this favor because after conquering a planet or two he just wished to settle down and make others work for him.
As he walked though he suddenly stopped and realized something. He was not ready to face the king. Not until he knew the extents of his power. He decided he would need to go to the slums to test this and added, "I shall see you in a few minutes my liege actually I want to see what kind of scum we might have in the Gamma Slums today." He quickly bowed and turned to leave the king's chambers.
