The interior of the vessel was completely spotless, almost unnaturally so. The pristine white walls stood as pillars to hold up the roof like colossal glaciers though with no observable crags. The kiosk that held and innumerable amount of buttons and switches that Emanuel was not allowed to touch flickered with an erratic grace. Hell if Emanuel knew what the array of buttons and switches meant he was just fortunate to be able to witness what it was like to travel on a first class earth ship first hand. The cockpit was incredibly roomy, which was strange as in most films he’d watched the cockpit was barely meant to hold more than three people. This room however was clearly disproving that staple. The window pane in front of them offered a clear view to the cacophony of colors that issued from deep space at any given time. The festival of sights outside gave a small tint to the interior as the lights from the stars and quasars near and far dance lightly across the kiosk.
“You alright, you’ve been staring out the window for a good few hours without a word.” Tado, Emanuel’s Father, broke the silence comparable to vacuum that floated outside of the ship’s exterior. Tado was a tall man, easily dwarfing his son in stature, standing at 6’3”. Though his height is a clear distinction he held the same features as his son, albeit matured and peppered with light scaring some of which were adequately concealed by generous facial hair.
“Heh, space is pretty.” Emanuel responded with a tongue and cheek answer looking over just enough to allow his father to see his half grin through the periphery of his vision. Tado could not afford to look too far towards Emanuel as he was currently the thing preventing them crashing into an asteroid or a neighboring space vessel.
“I get it, still mad about not being able to stay at home.” Tado said easing his grip on the steering sticks that came forward from amidst the surge of buttons on the kiosk. The turbulence could not be felt at Tado cruised by another asteroid that populated the thin belt separating them from their destination. “Last time I left you home alone you went off to propose to the Queen of all fucking Saiyans.” Tado was no insensitive to his child’s desires but off all the things he could have done while he was away he chose to try and seduce an alien warlord, this was safely a cut above ‘No TV for a week’ type of grounding material, Tado had half a mind to actually drive Emanuel into the ground after he came home bragging about his proposal.
“I thought it went well.” Emanuel said perching his feet up against the kiosk before quickly having them batted down by Tado’s free hand, he’d already expressed that he absolutely loathed having feet up against the kiosk dash but Emanuel had only been reminded of that four hours ago so it was only natural he’d forget. Whether or not Emanuel’s meeting with the queen was a success or not was irrelevant to Tado, he simply did not wish to hear anymore of Emanuel ridiculous tale.
“Of course it went well, because you escaped with your life.” He brought their vessel to a smooth cruising velocity making the stars that had been racing by them as they made their journey slow to a crawl in relation to the ship. “Get your suit on we’re almost here.” Tado explained pointing his thumb behind him towards the door of the cockpit that led further into the impressive ship.
“I won’t be coming with you on guard duty why the need for the battle suit?” Emanuel asked though he was certainly not opposed to the idea of trying out the armor more for his own amusement than anything else.
“This is gonna be a vacation type deal for you but we need to look presentable while making contact and that won’t happen if you’re in a tank top and cargo pants.”
“But they’re comfortable.”
“So are the suits.”
“Really, They look like they’re ride up a lot and I don’t want to spend all day with a wedgie.” Emanuel had begun getting up from his seat. He placed a hand on the back of the seat to walk around it taking a moment to feel the material of the seat with the tips of his fingers. The armor may have been suspect but these seats were like sitting on a cloud.
“Hah, they’re a small variation of the material used for Saiyan armor, trust me they’re comfortable.” Tado assured him. The streaks of light originating from stars finding their homes millions of light years away from them dimmed. In the distance sat a gigantic spire tilted to an appropriate axis to remain in the gravitational orbit of the dual sun solar system. The spire occupied enough space in the vacuum to cover up much of the stars that had been keeping their eyes on their vessel for a time, being that is was roughly comparable to size of Earth’s own moon this was a relatively easy task. The twin stars that led this solar system however where as potent as they were a strange combination, one being a red sun the other being a blue sun, they were easily visible to Tado and Emanuel their presence and juxtaposition was impossible to ignore.
“You better be right.” Emanuel said as the mechanized door slid apart revealing the interior of the ship to him. The cock pit was a clear representation of just how homey this place was in its entirety. The ship seemed to be spacious enough to accommodate upward to ten people with furniture fashioned into a living room which attached to a kitchen on the upper left side. A couch at the center of the room and one against the windows that bolted against the walls and floor of the interior that leaned against the long narrow window that ran against the side. Emanuel walked towards the locker that stretched from the floor to a little over Emanuel’s own height. From inside he produced the attire he’d have for the duration of his stay.
The armor consisted of the vest that was common for the Saiyan soldiers though the pauldrons were shorter and rounder around the shoulders. The abdominal region was green while the rest was a dark teal, the black pants were skin tight but incredibly form fitting and comfy, the boots were white the tips of which were the same shade of green as the abdominal region of the upper piece. th02.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/i/2011/209/b/4/universe_3_bardock_by_ruga_rell-d41x6l5.png
The moment Emanuel had finished slipping on his armor he felt the subtle shake around the ship signaling they’d landed. The increase in the force of gravity was also a telltale sign as his body felt the increase in pressure easily five times that of earth though it was not a force Emanuel was unable to withstand with grace. Tado had exited from the cockpit already having his apparel worn since the moment they’d departed from Earth. Tado’s armor was similar to Emanuel’s in that the general design was largely the same but the shoulder protection of Tado’s extended further down his arm hugging his form. Tado smacked Emanuel on the back of his head to signal that they should make their travel towards the exit of the ship brief.
Emanuel nudges his Father in the side in rebuttal and follows him to where the end of the ship folded open to form a ramp from their access to the Alien planet. Emanuel could feel the intense heat simply by being close to where the ship’s internal temperature controls began to give way to allow them to introduce themselves to the chosen destination. The light that cut through the creases of the sheets of metal folding out was intense enough to make him blink a few times to adjust his eyes to the sudden change in light.
“Alright, so just let me talk for a bit and you can head to the resort area, you’re gonna have to stay there for a few days while I work.” Tado says before the flap fully falls open to reveal the spire satellite planet known as Akrai.
Akrai was an entirely industrial locale, being that it was completely artificial in construction. Akrai did not seem to have a speck of nature which to Emanuel who had just come from Earth was rather jarring, all the green and blue had been replaced by hard metallic chrome. Their ship was lined up against other vessels streamed down opposite sides of the hangar. Theirs was certainly not the most elaborate, many of the alien vessels boasted unique and unusual architecture and one was literally shaped like a caterpillar. Emanuel was briefly captivated by the array though Tado walking down the ramp caught his attention.
At the base of their ship were two large males identical in every way. Both stood at six feet tall with a toned middling build which can be seen through the sleeveless exterior of their armor whose pauldron extended further to the right side giving the right side more protection for one of them and the opposite for the other. Both of them possessed magenta skin and black skin tight pants which mirrored the rest of their outfit. A green lensed scouter laid on the right side of each of their eyes, the eyes below them were of similar color and their hair was a metallic silver, all these features were complimented by rather pleasant aesthetics which mirrored the human anatomy. “Tado, we’ve been waiting for your arrival, we’ve been tasked to show you to your post, I am Kiro and this is my brother Qiro.” The brother on the right spoke up letting the other stay silent.
“Um, those sound exactly the s-“ Emanuel’s comment on the brother’s parent’s lack of creative name choice was cut off by Tado speaking up.
“Thank you for allowing me to serve to guard the representative of this great planet.” Tado had recently gotten enough acclaim to land this opportunity to act as a personal guard to a person some sway in interplanetary deals, it may not have been extensive but every job well done got him a better record.
Kiro and Qiro nodded in unison stepping back ready to escort Tado to his post and let Emmanuel do his own thing as he pleases. Tado put a hand on his son’s shoulder “Please be good.” He said before walking down the ramp towards the duo. He fallen in line with the two Kiro in front, Qiro behind him, and Tado at the end of the line which was now making it’s way from Emanuel. By the time he could not see awkwardly named bros and his father Emanuel let out a small sigh “Finally I can speak.” His curious eyes surfed across the area looking for something to entertain him in the time Tado had to go off and be boring for a couple of hours. The entire place seemed to be a mall to some quantity, stores for different products and services spanned as far and high as he could see. The architecture of the area was a grid section, streets and avenues were numbered by series in terms of how high the level was. Being that the entire planet was shaped like a spire streets higher above his current one could be seen from where he was, it was interspersed with a mesh emulating the look of a sky, and an incredibly convincing one at that but the subtle sight of the higher floor did not help the illusion.
Emanuel walked toward a short alien individual, round figure with sickly green skin and eyes on the sides of his head. “Hey man, you know where an arcade is?”
“Arcade, I don’t know bout that; you wanna go to strip joint though?” He said with thin grin.
“…how many of the dancers there look like my race?” Emanuel asked as a quality check of the establishment, if the dancers at the place looked anything like the race of the butterball alien in front of him he might as well give up his hopes of enjoying his time here.
“Why would they?” The portly alien asked confused as if the thought of show girls that shared his racial appearance would certainly not attract business.
“Yeah I figured.” He said turning around leaving the stocky alien to whatever perversions struck his fancy; Emanuel was off to actually have a good time.
…
Emanuel had been having a little difficulty with the ‘good time’ he’d promised to himself to experience after leaving the short green alien to do whatever it is short green aliens did on this planet, he assumed it all had to do with strippers. Akrai was not a meek diminutive place, being that it commanded the scale of earth’s moon it held just as much as one would expect a highly industrialized locale of this magnitude to hold. Residencies existed on synonymous grounds as bustling small time stores which surrounded by reoccurring establishments that seemed to be chain places as they had more prevalence throughout the area.
The hyperbolic activity actually made Emanuel feel at home. Akrai was almost like central city but on a lunar size scale and with a lot more strip joints. Emanuel was beginning to understand why the green alien was so adamant about getting him to go to one of these places considering that you couldn’t fly a few kilometers before going past another. The frequency of these places almost tempted him to go inside one as whatever this abundant must be good. He had to fight the urge which wasn’t even an urge of arousal; His overpowering curiosity demanded that he see just how good alien naughty bits were. If they were so amazing they needed to be within spitting distance of each other then he’d be doing himself a disservice by not researching it.
“Yeah, research.” He assured himself halting his flight to an abrupt stop over the floors below that were awash with pink and green neon light. The neon sign had a figure that was thankfully of a human female comprised of the ink neon strips. The female has her legs wrapped around a green neon pole and had red neon tassels where the nipples should be. “Damn I’ve never rethought something so quickly.” He said despite still descending to where the establishment front door stood. The place had the same spotless metallic finish as the rest of Akrai, Emanuel had never gone inside of any of the similar places back at central city the places were always grimy and far too sleazy. Akrai had it’s places run tight, nothing ever looked dirty. Emanuel had been flying around for the better part of an hour and everything held the same spotless look as everything else.
Quasars, was the name that was above the neon sign of the female on the pole. There was no one outside acting as bouncer to the place which was strange as the soft muffled sounds of electronic music and cheers from inside suggested this place was popular. The lone saiyan hybrid inched toward the club with hesitation inhibiting his every step. “Uhhh, they probably won’t even let me in.” He says purposefully discouraging himself to turn around and walk away.
“But they don’t even have a bouncer out front, would they really care?” He thinks again forcing him to turn around to face the club once again taking one more step forward that he had initially.
“But I’m under aged.” The thought made the half saiyan turn around once again. He stood with his back to the muffled pumping of trap music and excited patrons.
“But blue tits are a unique experience.” He turned yet again to face the glow of the neon signs that bathed the metallic floors in front of him in a mixture of pink and green. “That made no goddamn sense.” He corrects his previous thought by pointing out that blue breasts were beside the point.
Akrai’s gravity is naturally multiple times that of earth because of its location in the binary orbit of both its suns. A gravity dampener reduces the amount of the gravity that would be imposed on its citizens by very generous amounts as the strength of gravity imposed by both suns would be far too much for the inhabitants of Akrai to handle. This was explained to Emanuel by his Father during their trip towards Akrai thus why Emanuel was not surprised by the magnitude by which the gravity affected him once they’d touched down. The hybrid saiyan possessed strength enough to shrug off such a multiplication of the gravity he was accustomed to; what came next however something even he was not prepared for.
The atmosphere suddenly spiked Emanuel into the ground forcing him to adopt a kneeling position. One knee dug into the metal below him, his defiance at being crushed caused the metal to groan, creak, and bend under him as he forced himself to his feet. Her breath was sharp as he gave one great effort to stand once he was on a standing position he had to regulate his breath, with each deep inhale he grew accustomed to sudden change in gravity methodically. The level of multiplied gravity was still beyond what he was accustomed to and according to his surroundings he was not the only one affected by the jarring change. The others were not coping as well as he was. The people that had been minding their own were now pinned by the gravity being crushed by their multiplied weight. Fortunately the people of Akrai being accustomed to a strong gravity were not outright crushed by their weight despite the gravity being too great for them to move.
The excited sounds of cheering from inside the club were replaced by cursing laced with confusion and outrage. As much as he could hear their desperate cries of “What the fuck is going on!” Emanuel couldn’t even begin to answer them as the fact that the gravity of Akrai had been multiplied was fairly evident without him needing to reiterate it. The young half saiyan may not be aware of the cause of the rapid change but he understood his best bet was to reunite with his father and figure out the meaning of this.
“This better not be some fucked up practical joke.” He growled verbally as his ki crackled circling around him to punctuate his take off as he began to navigate the maze of metallic streets. He could never hope to find Tado in this unfamiliar terrain which for the most part looked exactly the same. To him it felt as if he was flying through a Flintstones repeating background with no variety in sight. His father had graciously punched in the directions of the location he’d be staying at during his assignment into the GPS Emanuel kept on him ahead of time in case of an emergency. This definitely seemed like one, the straining in the young hybrid’s muscles from the introduction of fifteen times earth’s normal gravity was proof of that. From a bird’s eye view Emanuel could see the effects of the gravity manipulation, men and women with teeth grit desperately trying to get to their feet, none of them possessing the sheer strength to defy the force of gravity bringing its boot to their backs.
His stomach ached at the sight of all of these innocents being subdued under this literal oppressive force, the soreness in his gut was only made worse as he entertained the idea that the rest of Akrai might be suffering the same. As far as he knew this was happening planet wide. It was of course impossible for him to be sure of anything like that as he did not have omnipresent detection of the area but what was to stop someone from altering the gravity of the entire planet if they were able to get an area as broad as the one Emanuel had found himself flying through. His perception of time was blurred as the pressure made minutes blend into seconds like shadows to darkness, it was impossible for him to tell how long he’d been flying towards the location his GPS device pointed. Before long he felt the sinking feeling that he might have been going in circles, everything already looked the goddamn same and he was certain he might not have been seeing straight enough to read the GPS correctly. His suspicion was dashed when his father came hurtling through the air towards him unable to halt.
Tado gained control of his flight before he had the chance to crash into his son, he somersaulted through the air, keeping the person tucked under his arm close, temporarily rendering the world upside down before stopping his momentum with a flare of ki energy. “Oh hey nice of you to show up!” Emanuel exclaimed at his surprise at seeing Tado almost literally run into him.
“Some of the guards, Kiro and Qiro involved, wanted to snatch the representative we’re here to protect, don’t know why, They're responsible for the gravity getting turned up.” Tado said through a ragged breath unable to hold the side which seemed to ache as the person he was carrying was currently tucked under the arm it lied under. Under Tado’s arm was an exceptionally pissed off looking middle aged female which possessed the standard facial features of a rather attractive human female but with red skin and pure white hair that reached toward the lover part of her back, and much of the front of her face as she’d been tossed along with Tado by the looks of it. Not much else about her was identifiable as white baggy robes conceal most of her physique.
“You think they’re mad about my act to reduce the number of profane establishments in the general area?” She says before blowing a strand of her lace straight hair away from her face.
“What I saw was the reduced number?” Emanuel felt compelled to ask as he felt as if he had to invent new numbers to express how many of those places he’d run into. A ki blast barreled towards them catching him unaware as he was occupied by the idea of there having been more strip joints in the past. The blast was countered by Tado’s own which escaped from his free hand causing a pillow of smoke to screen in front of the three.
“Can we save the politics for later?” Tado pleaded.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=YyaTLERi5P4
The smoke screen bent around the form of a large object which speared its way through it with a trajectory aimed at Tado. The object was a quadruple armed alien with insectoid like chitin covering the green splotchy reptilian scales that existed at the bends of joints such as the elbows and knees. The individual was remarkably humanoid as its frame fit inside armor similar to that of Tado and Emanuel’s though it seemed bulkier and provided more protection at the knees and shoulders. It possessed long green hair tied into uni-braid which stopped at the middle of its back. Its face was also remarkably humanoid despite the antennas that poked from its forehead. It was also without a doubt the largest creature Emanuel had seen on this planet yet standing at seven feet three inches tall and aiming a blatant tackle at Tado.
The creature was quick as it managed to crash its shoulder into Tado dragging him away from his son causing them both to sail through the air. The half saiyan was quick to jump to action at the sight of his father being battered but before he could complete his charge to intercept the unknown creature’s tackle he felt the sting of someone’s knee being introduced to his nose knocking him back to feel the crack of a foot against his back sending him hurtling towards the metallic earth. He halted well before hitting the ground a rush of air exploded behind him as he cancelled his ground bound momentum with a surge of ki under him. He looked up to see the Kiro and Qiro being the culprits of the strikes he’d just withstood. “It’s tweedle-douche and tweedle-dick.” Emanuel spat at them before trying his previous tactic of rushing towards his father’s aid. Tado was being pressured as he was fighting the unknown creature one handed with his other devoted to keeping the red skinned female from plummeting to the ground.
Once again Emanuel was intercepted though this time he managed to put his arm up in time to deflect the elbow that would have crashed into his cheek with his forearm. Kiro was the one of the two that chose to engage him, the other twin rushing towards Tado and his adversary thinking to help out his ally against the human male with the disadvantage. Kiro growled through closed lips as Emanuel managed to match his assault “You’re not going anywhere.” He said launching his right fist towards Emanuel’s jaw seeing that his left elbow failed.
“Then I’d at least like some company” the young half saiyan responded by weaving his head down to let Kiro’s fist sail over him. He’d ducked down low enough to have a small window where Kiro’s abdomen was exposed to land a clean blow. Qiro was fast approaching Tado who was barely managing to hold his own against his opponent with the Akrian representative dispensing a pep talk whenever her hair was not caught in her mouth. Emanuel had to keep Qiro from joining the fight going on a distance away; Tado could not hope to fight them both off. Emanuel instead of going for the strike at Kiro with right handed body blow opted to charge forward and drive his shoulder in Kiro’s stomach. Kiro bucked at the strike with a grunt being pushed back by Emanuel but still managing to keep his stance in the air. With Kiro distracted and with a clear view of Qiro, the hybrid saiyan extends his right arm forward under Kiro’s arm allowing a blast of ki energy to escape from his palm and soar towards the twin.
The blast of green energy struck true, the shock made Qiro veer to completely miss his target by a good distance. A trail of smoke induced by the impact of Emanuel’s ki on Qiro’s back streaked through the air as he descended by a small degree before gaining control of his flight pattern, unfortunately his blast was only enough to distract as Qiro’s armor did not seem to falter greatly after the strike.
The twin engaging him now proved to be the more prevalent threat as he abused the fact that Emanuel’s head and arm were beneath his right underarm. He brought his arm around Emanuel neck and arm making his bicep squeeze tightly on the back of his neck. Emanuel struggled against Kiro’s grasp already feeling his breath grow short as the increased gravity was not doing him favors in terms of allowing him to conserve energy. Kiro however seemed as if this level of gravity was not even the maximum he could withstand as his movement through the atmosphere was second nature. Using the increased gravity and his own ki to propel them towards the ground Kiro began to bring himself and Emanuel downward intending on spiking the head of the cocky half saiyan into the chromes shaded floors. The floor was approaching quickly, much quicker than Emanuel was used to; the expediency of him nearing the ground did not stop him from finding a manner to reverse his predicament. Before his face could feel the sting of metal he stretched his abdomen and back to where his legs could hook around the sides of Kiro’s head and with one good effort the world before him somersaulted and he was now right side up and slipping out of Kiro’s grasp. Kiro could not react fast enough to Emanuel’s quick escape the top of his head was introduced to the floor the metallic groan of bending metal punctuating the impact.
His small victory was short lived as Emanuel could feel an open palm crash into his stomach, even with the armor the strike nearly knocked the wind out of him and forced him off of Kiro. The strike steered him through the air as the hand was still on his abdomen, before the force of the strike could knock him away the hum of ki grew from where the hand lied and Emanuel could only brace himself for what would come next. A shine of red ki grew around his abdominal region and detonated making the force of the strike and distance he flew from it multiply. Qiro had caught up to support his sibling knocking Emanuel clear a few kilometers away.
He slammed his feet down onto the ground to stop himself from flying back any further or he might give the twins another opening. He clutched his abdomen with a grimace. That may have been a pretty good hit but Emanuel was nowhere near done, he would have fun with these two if it killed him, or them. The way it was looking Emanuel thought he should start updating his will.
Kiro plucked his head from the sheets of steel it had been impaled through with little effort; the worse he was sporting from the impact as a small scrap on the cheek, the floor looked like it suffered more than he did. Now that both of the twins were together and looking as if they intended on attacking together Emanuel felt his stomach sink but his chest rise. The thrill that coursed through him at the promise of this battle far superseded his concern at the very real chance of his loss. “Come and collect your beating, y’all are twins you’re gonna have to share it.” He bluffed knowing that both their power levels were superior to his, still the element of fear might make them more cautious than they had to be, at least that’s what Emanuel hoped.
The fact that they charged him together was proof that they were not buying his bravado. Kiro brought his fist to Emanuel’s gut before he could react, his face twisted in pain thought thankfully the armor was doing its job and allowed him to retain his senses enough to bend back to avoid Qiro’s right hook. The half saiyan used the opportunity to lunge forward and bring his fist into contact with Qiro’s exposed cheek in a lightning fast left cross, unfortunately it didn’t even leave Qiro dazed as the twin spun in the motion of the punch that landed on his cheek to deliver a roundhouse kick to the cocky half breed. He put up his left forearm in time to negate the strike though his opponent’s superior power still caused him to slide against the ground a good bit while keeping his stance rooted.
Kiro was on Emanuel like white to snow as he was behind him ready to land the kick his brother couldn’t. His right leg smacked into his back breaking his stance and sending him stumbling forth where his brother was intent on spiking him like a well-oiled machine. Emanuel was powerless to stop him as his fist cracked against the side of his head. The strike was so potent it turned him completely around to face Kiro who had an uppercut lined up for him. Before this fight devolved into a game of volleyball Emanuel slipped back letting the uppercut sail up mere centimeters away from his chin and aiming his fist towards Kiro’s chin. He weaved forward rotating his body to launch the strike while lurching forward a bit. Kiro was perceptive enough to already weave out of the trajectory of the hit and line up a right straight; that is until Emanuel stopped his fist short and unleashed a blast of green ki right in his face. Kiro threw his head back with a short shriek of surprise; the state of his face was unidentifiable as the smoke from the blast still lingered around his face.
With one twin occupied by the sudden blast Emanuel turned his attention to the other one turning with his with his right hand extended out to deliver a backhand. Qiro had already seen the attack coming, putting up his forearm to defend against the hit and unlike Emanuel who had buckled at the force of blocking Qiro’s hit before, Qiro did not seem as affected in the slightest. In fact he pushed Emanuel arm aside and brought his knee to the young half saiyan’s stomach, again the armor was doing its job as Emanuel braced for the hit barely retaining the air in his lungs as he knee crashed into his tensed abdomen, he lurched forward to grab Qiro’s leg and using the last bit of his breath roared as he swung Qiro by his leg causing him to crash into his brother who had just recovered from the ki blast and his scouter exploding on his face.
Both of them flew a few meters back from the force of the throw but were able to recover so quickly they were almost already on Emanuel before he could even gain substantial distance as he began to fly backwards. Emanuel was facing the two as he rushed backward desperate to gain distance as getting flanked again wouldn’t allow him to get hits in. The twins would not allow him to have his wish as they had already closed the gap within moments ready to launch another assault.
Emanuel had been secretly building his reserve of power while the fight was transpiring desperate to utilize his full strength as it was clear he would need every bit of it. The moment the twin had closed the gap between them ready to both fire respective right hooks the well of power in Emanuel surged, the effect of him reach his full power was visible as he was emboldened by a swirling green energy that wrapped around his form in a harsh glow. He bent back performing a backflip as the energy appeared in a bright streak behind him while he flew away from Kiro and Qiro. Both of their hooks hit nothing as his head was no longer where they’d aimed, Emanuel was instead upside down with both his knees bent and feet pulled back for when he would extend them to bring his right foot to the bottom of Qiro’s chin and his left to Kiro’s.
Both of them sailed upward from the attack this time not recovering instantaneous this being the first clear sign of Emanuel being able to land a satisfactory hit. He doesn’t stop there as he begins a maelstrom of ki blast from his hands after having adjusted his position to look upward. Green bulbs of energy spring from his hands at an alarming rate catching both the twins by surprise as they are tagged by a good number of strikes. The sounds of ki detonating upon impact with the brothers is accompanied by the those of the battle still raging with Tado and his unknown enemy, both appear evenly matched, the streaks of crimson leaking from the top of Tado’s head to the brim of his jaw signal otherwise. In terms of power he could tell his Father and the aline fighting him were of equal strength, Kiro and Qiro were weaker than both of them but still roughly twice as powerful as Emanuel. Lesser men would worry about facing two men both of twice his power but Emanuel was far too stubborn to admit when he was beaten.
The twins after being caught by a good number of the blasts had regained their senses and were now weaving through the volley of shots with ease approaching the dispenser of the rain of energy with each failed blast. “Look at this one throwing a tantrum.” Qiro spoke to his brother over the roar of energy being dispersed. Kiro simply gave a smile more comparable to a sneer at his brother remark. The brothers were almost on him once again, so close he could see the whites of their eyes and the flare of their energy as they too were now bolstering their own strength much like Emanuel was, only they did not have cause to hide it. Still Emanuel bided his time as they drew closer still dispensing obscene amounts of ki as they cut through the air. They drew their fists ready to end Emanuel in one combined blow, their target had other plans however. He brought the palms of his hands together making all of the orbs of ki that had hung in the air after being dispensed converge on the twins in a Kakusan Yuudou Kikou Ha.
“And your names are fucking stupid!” Emanuel cried as he propelled himself back as fast as he possibly could to avoid the blast as the sky in front of him lit up in an immense show of destructive force. The sounds were only made more deafening as they echoed against the metal surfaces that Akrai solely consisted of. The world shook at the roar of ki fueled explosion, the smoke was thick enough to make the immediate area impossible to see even to those versed in ki sensing as Emanuel’s ki clung to smoke making the radius of the blast imperceptible. The smoke began clearing, every wisp that passed away to allow more visibility only served to raise the tension, which is why Emanuel’s heart sank as he saw both the twins floating in place with their arms crossed to provide cover for themselves and back to back to support their themselves. Their armor had been chipped away at the shoulders and a large crack ran across the pectoral area of Kiro’s, their faces were bruised sporting scrapes from the blast but that did not change the fact that they were alive. Emanuel sighed sucking his teeth in disbelief as one of his most powerful techniques did not reduce the two to a match set of ashes. “I’m sorry.” He offered before Kiro kicked him in the mouth.
Emanuel could only feel the clutches of crippling pain squeezing him as he punched through steel buildings unable to stop after being spiked through them by Kiro’s kick. He’d lost enough momentum after the seventh building to get pinned into an interior wall. His jaw slacked open; he thought it was because of the shock of cleaving through seven buildings. He attempted to bring his mouth closed but discovered he couldn’t, his jaw refused to bring itself up so he may continue his fight. The sensation of the muscles responding in his mouth he could at least be certain of but it felt as if something was weighing it down. When he brought his hand to his face after fishing it out of the bent steel he figured out why, his jaw had been dislocated from the kick. With a quick jerk of the wrist he popped his jaw back into place with a sickening pop. He wrenched himself from the metal that engulfed him as he’d been embedded in it after crashing into it.
It was only after his vision realigned once he’d fished himself from the steel and was now on his feet did he realize that the pink and green neon that flickered weakly having been freshly ripped from the walls seemed a bit familiar. Looking around he noticed the patrons of the establishment laid on the ground, the strobing lights that still miraculously bathed the stage where the girls were meant to perform, and the dancers who were covering their merchandise no longer feeling the will to make their money after the gravity had been pumped up. Thankfully it seemed like the only thing he’d actually harmed with his violent entry was the place itself. “I swear I was planning on coming here a lot smoother.” He said to the large man standing at the very end of the checkered carpeted floor, he was the only one who was not being outright pinned by the force of gravity though he only managed to keep himself on a knee. Being that he was the strongest looking individual here he only assumed he was the security.
Kiro flew through the hole Emanuel had made upon entry grabbing him by the ankle before he could react and punching through the next wall with him in toe. Before they were out of earshot Emanuel shouted “Save a drink for me!”
The world hyperbolically twisted as Emanuel’s head was driven into a light fixture by his ankle. Kiro was effectively swinging him like a bat into the objects that struck his fancy. The light fixture that Emanuel’s head made contact with was rooted off the ground spiraling of into the distance while he was still stuck by Kiro’s grasp. The railing of a convenience store strip bent around Emanuel’s chest as Kiro swung him downward onto it, every one of Emanuel’s grunts and the subtle hint of spittle around his mouth as he was brought against an object only made the experience more of a game for Kiro, his curiosity as to how many things the half saiyan could survive being smashed into grew with every passing swing.
To make matters worse Emanuel could feel Qiro approaching from above to spike him into the ground that rested several kilometers below them. Emanuel had run out of gambits to escape a sure fire strike. He could feel the armor and his spine creak as Qiro brought a massive axe kick down on his back after his brother had served his limp body up for a clear shot, the sensation of his body colliding with the ground was near synonymous with the moment the strike landed as he hit the ground immediately. Blood choked up in his airways and was expelled through his mouth and nose in a weak hack and cough. At this point he could only muster enough strength to turn over to lie on his back to see what twisted way the twins would decide to dispatch of him. Still beside the dread was a sense of pride that he had the privilege to fight such strong warriors however much of a dick these two might be.
His eyes lazily rolled around in his head taking in the place that would be his grave. The metal had grown quite cozy after being impaled through it after a dozen times he supposed he’d grown accustomed to the feeling of cold fingers embracing him, or perhaps his body had gone numb after the beatings he’d taken, the fact that it was difficult to move any part of his body would certainly indicate that. The artificial sky felt more inviting as it draped over the razed small owned businesses, carts of food were spilled fusing with the garbage leaking out from the up turned garbage transportation units. The smell was paradoxical mix of sweet smelling baked goods and week old grease. The artificial sky apparently works on a day and night cycle as it had now grown dark and the sun had been replaced with a moon now shining as brightly as any normal moon would. “Wait…moon” Emanuel hacked coughing up another combination of bile and blood.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxEU1ELAuvc
He grit his teeth embarrassed that he would even think about giving up to these clowns. The two were rushing him again but from his eyes they seemed to multiply into several copies, his vision had yet to adjust to him getting to his feet so quickly. “I don’t care if there are fifty of you, you can all suck my dick!” He said in his illusioned state believing there to be more than just the two of them.
The brothers were contemplating just disintegrating him from above but his tenacity piqued their interest as much as his foul mouth pissed them off. They both split apart aiming to circle around him for a final pincer attack. Kiro charged forth while Qiro circled from behind, both of them were met with a rude halt. As soon as they were in range Emanuel twisted to bring his foot into Qiro’s jaw and his fist onto Kiro’s nose. The startling pain only added to the shock of the practically dead half saiyan still being able to deliver such blows. He roared as both the strikes landed his voice became deeper with each decibel that escaped from his throat. His eyes had become pure crimson red as the skin that had been exposed under the armor began to grow hair rapidly.
The brother reeled back from the hits and were not given time to even contemplate what had just happened as Emanuel was now on the offensive. He brought his hand down onto the back of Kiro’s head, his hand had now grown massive enough to fully wrap around his head. He jerked his head towards the ground to impale it into the floor that recently had Emanuel’s bile sprayed on it. Qiro inched forward showing his first sign of hesitation since Emanuel’s uphill encounter had started and was met with the half saiyan’s foot once again, this time now twice as large as when it had struck Qiro moments ago. The roundhouse kick sent the magenta skinned alien skidding across the ground kicking up the filth that had resulted from their fight. Pieces of trash soared as he knocked them aside like bowling pins; he’d travelled several meters in this manner yet still did not halt until he crashed through the store window of a pet shop.
He howled towards the artificial moon that had given him his strength now in his full Oozaru form towering over the enemy that had given him so much trouble. The armor stretched thankfully keeping his Oozaru form clothed, the cracks in it now looked like fissures in the scale he’s grown to but it was still resilient having kept together this far.
Kiro wrenched his head from the floor just in time to stop the giant fist hurtling towards him. The impact left a hole several times the size of Kiro’s own body; he could only imagine the magnitude of the splatter it would have left if it had actually connected. Just the thought made Kiro’s stomach feel like lead. He raced upward knowing that the optimal manner of confronting this form would not be up close, he hovered at what he perceived as a safe distance and began peppering Emanuel with rapid fire ki blasts hoping to finish the effort they’d almost had done.
Emanuel braved the onslaught of ki attacks by putting his hand forth to encapsulate the entirety of the incoming blast width wise blockig them all together, with the other hand he began storing a large cache of brilliant yellow ki energy. What followed was too swift for Kiro to react to; a bellowing roar punctuated the escape of a golden dragon form from Emanuel free hand as he thrust it forth to where Kiro hung in the air. The dragon form came from his arm an extension of the raw power that Emanuel now held in this form and opened its mouth to catch Kiro within. The harsh shine of the form from the inside was comparable to looking directly at the sun, the overload of stimuli made Kiro numb. Emanuel commanded the dragon to nose dive, it pierced through the air flying upward before looping around spiraling to bring the captive locked in its maw to floor, the force of the dragon dispersing as its entire length struck the ground pelting him with abundant ungodly force. By the end of the assault Emanuel could only barely feel his energy as he was holding on by a mere thread beat to within an inch of his life.
“You monkey shit!” Were the words that came before Emanuel could feel an explosion of pain between his shoulder blades. Qiro had recovered and he was letting him know as he’d stuck a blade of pure ki that extended from his hand into his back. Even at the scale he was at Emanuel was still badly beaten and that strike served to force him to take a knee. He may have been beaten to near death but his life was not to end here, he’d already decided that. Emanuel summoned a well of energy, possibly the last he could even muster and simply let it be expunged from every fiber of his being causing a brilliant flash engulfing a huge radius around him. He could not see a beginning nor an end to the display of power as time ceased to be for a moment. He found himself slipping into the light of his own creation as his being became light, lighter than it had ever felt before striking a solid surface.
…
Soft purring of machinery sang to along with the slow methodical movement of churning water giving a soft crescendo for the sharp tones of bubbles rushing to be popped the moment they reached the surface of the water. Emanuel opened his eyes his vision blurry making him worried he’d gone blind from all the damage he’d sustained. His worry was quelled when he noticed he was simply immersed in water with a respirator attached to his mouth to allow him to breath while inside. His limbs were numb but he could feel that they were back at full strength though he didn’t feel that moving awfully much.
Footsteps echoed into the chamber as someone entered the room that held the machine he was being held in. The water obscured his vision too much for him to tell who the individual who entered was, all he could make out was they were approaching the pod. A soft click was audible before the water started to drain from the pod leaving him feeling refreshed albeit a bit sore. The pod flap opened to reveal Tado standing over the pod with a look of deep seated concern for his child. “How are you doing?” He said bringing a hand to Emanuel’s back to assist him in climbing out of the pod allowing him to gain his barrings.
“Fuck this planet.”
