This is just a rough idea I was thinking could be a cool addition to the site. I figured I'd post it somewhere that everyone could chip in their opinions, so we can really get things worked out.
The New Feature -
The Advanced Teleportation Training System - The A.T.T.S. is a training room in which a fighter can enter, by paying a small fee, and fight another fighter who pays the same fee. Winner takes the Zeni, and both fighters get pl gains. The big kicker is this: You no longer need to be on the same planet as the person you are fighting! Your characters are teleported to an arena where your power levels are capped at the lowest base level. This makes the amount of damage you can deal out equal, giving us a way to really test ourselves. The fights are moderated, to keep things fair. And the end of the fight, there is an admin ruling (like after my fight with Conri in the tournament) and a winner is chosen.
Now, there is plenty of future fun we could have with the system if it is implemented: Betting on which fighter you think will win, gravity events, terrain changes, and whatever else we could think of.
Like I said its a rough idea, but I think it would be pretty awesome.
TL;DR
A way to gamble zeni, gain pl, and bypass the rules of regular training; have to meet/be on the same planet.
What do you guys think?

The location problem has already been solved with the Sim 2.0 in the item shop. You can fight with anyone in the universe as long as they own a Sim.
However, I like the gambling idea.

This is why people have gambling addictions. Great ideas like this.. lol I'm all for it, would be awesome to read and see who wins what and stuff. HOWEVER I have a question and or statement...both really.. would this be like OOC battles or have reasoning to be canon IC? I feel like this could cause some strenuous relationships or even great ones and what not just from this battle system. like..it could take away from actually meeting the person by being on said same planet and whatever scenario that would belong to. Ok..how do I make that sound simpler.. lol It could either really help or really hurt the character development of people depending on what happens...I think thats right.. lol That said, if those details can be answered i'm still mostly for it cause it's a cool idea to me.

Well, with the Sim 2.0 that Zero mentioned, a fighters identity is capable of being hidden. In this scenario I think the same thing would apply. Basically the two fighters are projected unto a fighting arena with a different appearance than their normal look. This masks their face and such, saving the IC interaction that might otherwise occur and possible ruin plotty stuff. Make sense? (It's early!)

However, players don't seem to use the "Avatar" feature, so they might end up losing plot stuff anyway. Then again, that's the player's choice to make (I guess).
Sometimes it works out pretty well though. Like, my thread with Maya. Although it was a sim battle, I quite enjoyed our encounter. Who knows when it would have happened otherwise?

Yeah. I haven't in the past but that was before recent events. We could always potentially make the avatar part mandatory or something, part of the deal.

In my opinion the most beneficial way to make this work would be that the players can choose whether or not that they wanted their Identities hidden. That way like Tosh said, if a player wanted to use the experience to further their character, they can, and if not they wouldn't have to risk it.
An example being if I wanted to fight Akassa, I could do so without risking getting the Saiyan army to go after me, or something.
Just my two cents on the matter though...

Just side stepping proposal Frigid for a sec, with the Sim 2.0 the hidden identity is an option to the users. If they choose not to that is their choice lol

Since we are talking about the simulator and whatnot, I would like to say that the ATTS would be an alternative to using the simulator or grav chamber. It would help give beginning players a cheaper alternative to buying their own, and possibly make them easier to afford as well, in terms of another way to gain zeni.
