It was time once again, the one month anniversary of the massacre at Central City and the invasion of Earth and Ethan had a special speech in store for this occasion. He would broadcast it this time on both standard radio frequencies and on the repaired Scouter communications unit, hopefully reaching out to the very stars themselves for the help Earth so desperately needed in this, one of it's darkest hours. Having spent almost a full week trolling across the open ocean, the boy had brought his boat to a stop next to a small, island in the middle of some unnamed sea. Once again he would keep the transmission short enough so that it could not be accurately tracked and as soon as he was done, the radio would go dark and his boat would once again be on the move. By keeping in motion, the teen hoped to perpetually confound the invader's efforts to find him and by keeping his transmission short, it would further hamper any efforts they make. This speech had originally been longer, almost seven full minutes in length the first time the boy read it, but because of the self imposed time constraints, he had boiled it down considerably. He did however make sure there was enough time allotted to allow for the proper dramatic pauses and the cumbersome language he'd chosen to employ in order to get his point across.
Once more the time had come, Ethan sat himself down at his desk, straitened the folded piece of paper upon was written out the carefully selected words of his address and then switched on the radio's power. In moments the tubes hummed to life, glowing a warm orange as they built up to full power. Then with the turn of a small dial and the flick of a switch the machine was set to transmit on both radio and Scouter frequencies. It would break into broadcasts and personal transmissions all across the galaxy if Ethan's understanding of the technology was right, if not, the worst that would happen is he'd be wasting electricity. Taking a deep breath to keep himself calm, the boy depressed the transmit key, the red light came on and he was on the air.

To everyone within the range of this broadcast, this is the voice of the Free Radio Earth Enterprise, bringing you a message from the people of the planet Earth.
On this day, one month ago -- a date, which will live in infamy -- the planet Earth was suddenly and deliberately attacked by space and ground forces of the Saiyan Empire.
The planet Earth was at peace with that nation and, at the solicitation of the Saiyans, was still in conversation with its government and its empress, looking toward the maintenance of said peace.
It will be recorded that the distance of Earth from it's Moon and the time it would take the Saiyan fleet to marshal and travel, makes it obvious that the attack was deliberately planned many days or even weeks ago. During the intervening time, the Saiyan empress has deliberately sought to deceive the Earth by false statements and expressions of hope for continued peace.
The attack last month on our world has caused severe damage to Earth's space and military forces. I regret to tell you that very many Human lives have been lost. In addition, Earth starships have been reported attacked in the space between our solar system's planets.
One week ago, the Saiyan government also launched an attack against a peaceful mountain village, slaughtering the en-tire population.
Last night, Saiyan forces attacked a fuel refinery in Broccoli Town.
Last night, Saiyan forces attacked Cheeseville.
Last night, Saiyan forces attacked the Northern Islands.
Last night, the Saiyans attacked Starlight Observatory.
And one month ago, at the opening of these events, the Saiyans attacked and obliterated the entirety of Central City.
The Saiyans have, therefore, undertaken a surprise offensive extending throughout the whole of the Sol system. The facts of yesterday and today speak for themselves. The people of the planet Earth have already formed their opinions and well understand the implications to the very life and safety of our world.
As Commander in Chief of the Free Radio Earth Enterprise, I have directed that all measures be taken for our defense. But always will our whole world remember the cowardly character of the onslaught against us.
No matter how long it may take us to overcome this premeditated invasion, the Human people in their righteous might will win through to absolute victory.
I believe that I interpret the will of the people when I assert that we will not only defend ourselves to the uttermost, but will make it very certain that this form of treachery shall never again endanger us.
Hostilities exist. There is no blinking at the fact that our people, our territory, and our interests are in grave danger.
With confidence in our armed forces, with the unbounding determination of our people, we will gain the inevitable triumph -- so help us God.
I ask now that the friends of Earth declare that since the unprovoked and dastardly attack by the Saiyan empire on our peaceful world one month ago, a state of war has existed between the Earth, it's friends and the Saiyan empire. I ask that all possible political, economic and military pressure be brought to bare upon these renegades and that a demand be issued for the immediate release of the imprisoned population of the Earth.
--
In the following weeks, this broadcast station will bring you news and updates concerning the condition of Earth and it's beleaguered population as well as chronicle, in detail, all atrocities committed against said population by the invading, Saiyan empire forces.
This has been a broadcast from the Free Radio Earth Enterprise.

His hand came away from the transmit key, sweat starting to bead on his brow as his words echoed across the cosmos. Ethan was in a sense immortal now, his transmission would be heard far and wide and would continue to travel through space for all time to come. Switching off the radio, the boy stood and stepped away from the desk. Proceeding to the upper deck, he once more started his boat's engines and set a new course to take him far from the transmission site. The next week would be spent much like the last, accumulating information from the inter-web and preparing another address while he cruised towards his next destination. Technology was truly a wonderful thing, especially in this day and age when everyone had a camera linked to the inter-web. Through any single person the entire world could see anything that person posts from their innocuous, little phone and with his radio and it's ability to transmit video as well as audio, Ethan was going to be sure that the whole of the galaxy knew of every move the Saiyans made. His spy network was slowly coming together, inter-web and physical dead drops were being set up, line of communication established and soon a proper fifth column would form within the Saiyan empire it's self. If the self appointed queen and her lackeys thought they were going to have an easy time of it, they thought so very wrong and they would regret every moment of their bad decision.

The elderly Toshio smiled and laughed as two tiny namekian children played around his legs, his arms up in the air pretending to be an old-style monster “Look out the old giant human is going to get us!” one of them jokingly said. “Hey, who are you calling old? Oh no…you’ve done it now! Arrggghh” Toshio slowly brought his two arms down and started to give the giggling and fleeing namekians a slow monster chase. It seemed like another peaceful day on Namek, as Toshio played near the gardens with the younglings in the old Guru village. Further away, a stern looking Namekian who wielded a scouter had a grim look on his face as he talked with other namekians. One of them pointed toward Toshio and the playing children, the namekian with the scouter looking toward the playing individuals as he nodded to the people he was talking to, he then slowly made his way to the group.
“Ahhh gotcha!!! Annnnnnd got you two! Now what shall giant Toshio have for dinner? Oh I know, how about two scrumptious delicious namekians? It’s been a while since I’ve ate my greens!” Toshio said as he managed to catch the small namekians, each with one arm and once done so holding them close and tight to his chest, the two namekian children laughing, grunting, and ewwing at his words. Toshio himself chuckled as well before he heard a voice behind him call out his name.
“Toshio Katsuo” the voice was that of the namekian who had the scouter. Turning around and still holding the namekian children he would continue to smile and speak. “Yes? Is there something I can help you with?” The namekian’s face remained unchanged, as serious as could be. “May I speak with you alone sir?” Toshio noted the seriousness in his voice as well as in his face and firmly nodded before putting the children down. Looking at them he grinned widely and spoke to them “Giant Toshio is taking a break to speak to a friendly fellow giant. He will come back to devour his meal later, you two go run along and play by yourselves now.” He rubbed the two bald heads of the young namekians as they giggled, nodded and ran off to play by their selves.
Turning back to the serious namekian, Toshio would turn serious as well sensing that something was terribly wrong. “What is it?” the elderly half-saiyan spoke seriousness in both his facial features and voice as well. The namekian motioned for him to follow him into one of the Namekian’s small hut houses, the very one that Toshio himself had been staying at. Once they were in and all alone and away from prying ears the namekian would speak. “On my scouter…I’ve received some...disturbing news…and I for one had no idea of such happenings nor that they had lasted and happened nearly a month ago…” The namekian spoke, sadness in his voice and appearance at what he had heard and found out. Hearing these words and seeing the namekian troubled so, he would do his best to try and keep things serene without getting the namekian too upset. “Do not be saddened by your lack of knowing what has transpired. Whatever it is that you heard and is troubling you was in no way your fought either by knowing about it or not knowing about it, as I’ve come to believe the past is the past. You can run from it or learn from it, but you cannot change it. I take it your first order upon knowing whatever it is you know was to come see me? Why? For wise words?”
Toshio watched as the namekian seemingly understood and heeded his words before speaking once more. “Yes, I’ve heard tales of your words of wisdom and your many stories…but...that only troubles me more…for you see...the news I bring does not concern me or even my people…but yours Master Katsuo...the people of Earth.” It was Toshio’s turn to be riddled with sadness. What of earth? What happened? “I’m sorry Master Katsuo…I hated so much to be the bearer of such tragic news, especially since you have been so kind and appealing to the namekians here…” the namekian continued, truly troubled as having had Toshio here had been great for many namekians not just those in the old fashioned ways but the new as well. But to bestow knowledge upon someone that their home planet had been completely changed…This namekian may not know what it truly felt like but he knew of the legends…of the old Namek that once blew up and how his people were all but gone once upon a time… True, Earth was indeed still there but… “Tell me my dear namekian friend…what has become of my people? What has happened?”
The namekian tried to speak but tears rolled down his face as he took his scouter off and would hand it to Toshio “I...I cannot…you have to be the one to hear it.” Toshio held out his hand and took the scouter. Putting it on he did his best to try and remember how the things worked, never having had much use of one. It took a few seconds before a recording started to play of someone speaking…. someone giving a speech…no…a call to arms. Toshio would listen intensely as the words rolled through his ear.
Toshio sat down, the namekian shadowing his movement. The Saiyan Empire? Toshio knew saiyans; he had their blood in him. True, the last few years he had not been in touch with any saiyans however he did not think this could...or would happen. Continuing to listen, Toshio would do so in complete silence.
A tear would start to run down the old man’s right cheek. The words many human lives have been lost reigned through his head…Would things have been different if he was there? Was…was his school ok? The school he had spent most of his life at… many human lives have been lost As the broadcast continued the elderly half-human could do nothing but listen.
One week ago, the Saiyan government also launched an attack against a peaceful mountain village, slaughtering the en-tire population.
Would that possibly be my family home? The many meals and laughter that I shared with my family… His mother had been gone for close to ten years now, however he still held found memories of the home that he was raised in. There was no way of knowing if this village was indeed the one that was destroyed.
Last night, Saiyan forces attacked a fuel refinery in Broccoli Town.
I've had students from this place….
Last night, Saiyan forces attacked Cheeseville.
I've had teachers from this place….
Last night, Saiyan forces attacked the Northern Islands.
The school is on one of these islands…
Last night, the Saiyans attacked Starlight Observatory.
He had friends from this place…
And one month ago, at the opening of these events, the Saiyans attacked and obliterated the entirety of Central City.
Central city….Earth’s largest city….he knew many many people that called this place home…What had transpired to cause such devastation?
The Saiyans have, therefore, undertaken a surprise offensive extending throughout the whole of the Sol system. The facts of yesterday and today speak for themselves. The people of the planet Earth have already formed their opinions and well understand the implications to the very life and safety of our world.
As Commander in Chief of the Free Radio Earth Enterprise, I have directed that all measures be taken for our defense. But always will our whole world remember the cowardly character of the onslaught against us.
No matter how long it may take us to overcome this premeditated invasion, the Human people in their righteous might, will win through to absolute victory. Absolute victory…Through struggle you gain friendship...through friendship you gain Victory….These were the very words of his school’s motto, words that he had lived by ever since his life had changed...because of his father...a full-blooded saiyan…No...this was not his father’s doing…Toshio listened as the broadcast continued.
I believe that I interpret the will of the people when I assert that we will not only defend ourselves to the uttermost, but will make it very certain that this form of treachery shall never again endanger us.
Hostilities exist. There is no blinking at the fact that our people, our territory, and our interests are in grave danger.

I ask that all possible political, economic and military pressure be brought to bare upon these renegades and that a demand be issued for the immediate release of the imprisoned population of the Earth.
That all possible people…Toshio could tell that the broadcaster was infuriated and wanted an eye for an eye and requested…no…pleaded that all available people retaliate. Toshio shook his head. An eye for an eye will make the whole world go blind…There are some things worth fighting physically for...but for others...others choosing to fight with the pen would hold just as much strength and power. Why attack with an Iron fist….when you can use words of Gold? Toshio would listen as the broadcast concluded with a final thought.
After the recording ended, it started again but Toshio had heard enough. Taking the scouter off he would hand it to the namekian who instantly started to speak once more. “I am so sorry Master To-” “Get me my cane please…” The namekian had a shocked and confused look upon his face, not sure what he wanted with his cane. “Sir? Are you going for a walk?” Toshio looked at the ground of the hut…he had been here for five years…he had retired here, choosing to live out the rest of his days enjoying the lives of the namekians. He was old…he was surely not as strong as those that took hold over earth…Looking up at the namekian after several moments of silence after his question, the master would speak. “I have loved every second of time I have spent here, these five years have been a blessing to me, and blessings I will never forget, live or die. I love the old way, I understand the new way and I love every single namekian that calls this place home…I myself never want to leave.”
The namekian knew not how to respond to such words, instead completely silent once more. As the namekian was finally about to speak, Toshio spoke once more. “But this is not MY home…my home was and always will be that of Earth...the place where I spent most of my life...the school where I spent decades teaching and leading…Earth...is in need of that once more…They need leadership…guidance…power that comes from more than just physical strength….I need to be the pen to their sword…I need to BE THERE.”
The namekian looked down for a few seconds and then back up at Toshio. “I will tell the others, you need go as soon as po-” Toshio laid a hand upon the namekians shoulder, gently smiling at him. “There is always time for a proper goodbye my green friend. I will not leave without giving my sincere regards to the people of this planet for they have given me just as much as I have given them, if not more.” The namekian bowed his head and kneeled before the master as a sign of pure respect. Toshio smiled and placed both of his hands on the adult namekian’s shoulders now. “You need not bow to me, I am no King nor Tyrant nor your Guru. I was...I am but a humble earthling who came here seeking peace and offering any guidance I could possibly give…I have learned many things from your people here, things that I will use to help bring peace back to MY people…If there is anyone who should be bowing it is I to the entirety of your people for they have given me the peace and love that I had hoped for when I arrived here...Now…you can help my old bones by rising and handing me my cane. I have a long goodbye to give to so many people.” The namekian did as he was asked and handed the elderly sage his cane. Smiling at the namekian Toshio would say a few more words. “I wish you to accompany me as I bid farewell to the namekian people. You were strong enough to come to me with this news before any others...You deserve to be by my side as I deliver the sad news of my departure. Now come…let us start down this path together.” Grabbing hold of the namekians shoulder, he would help lead the namekian out into the Namekian home world. On the quest now to bid his exit from the place he called home for the last five years.
And so the long adieu commenced, tears alongside smiles would be had as the half-saiyan half-human elderly sage spoke to each namekian he knew, both who supported the new and old ways. Even though they were separate in their ideals, they were still ONE people. ONE race. They were namekians and he would hold no separatist ideology towards them, he never did. The hardest goodbye’s were to the young children namekians, oh did he love telling them his many stories and to see their reaction of shock and awe as he rambled on about different adventures. But...of all the children there was one in particular that tugged at his heart harder than any amount of gravity could push. It was the young Dolin, the past two weeks he had spent with the young namekian had been some of the best teaching’s he had ever dished out and the young namekian had tried his patience many a times…But he proved to be a great disciple, the young Dolin reminded Toshio a lot of himself when he was younger… maybe that was why it would be so hard to leave him…just like his father had left after spending two weeks with him...he never saw him again after those wondrous two weeks on the deserted island…It was like history was repeating itself…Toshio thought about this all as he made his way to Dolin’s home.
It got tougher when he learned that Dolin had left earlier to come see Toshio in the guru village and that Toshio had just missed him. Not wanting to leave without consulting the young namekian, he and the adult namekian that continued to accompany him on this journey would track back to where this voyage all started, to the hut that Toshio had used these past five years. Waiting there, leaning up against the outside was Dolin. Upon seeing the master Dolin’s face lit up with excitement, it seems no one had yet told him of Toshio’s departure. Clenching his hands together and looking up at Toshio with excitement he started speaking. “Today’s the day you were going to teach me how to perform the Kamehameha! Ever since you told me I have been so excited to learn it! I’m going to beat any kind of baddie that comes against me!!” Oh no…the old sage had forgotten about this, he was about to break a promise and the heart of a very young child. Something he never wanted to do. Bending down to one knee to meet face to face with the young namekian, Toshio would speak slowly. Tears beginning to well up in his eyes and his face and voice torn with sadness. “I’m...I’m sorry Dolin but…that will have to wait until another day…I…I have been called home.”
Dolin looked at the master confused but then smiled. “But you’re already home you old senile kook. Now stop with your old age forgetfulness and come teach me that technique.” Dolin said as he grabbed the arm of Toshio and started to pull it. Toshio didn’t budge as he struggled to tell the young one that he was leaving…his father had been so forth coming about it...for Toshio…For Toshio it was much more difficult. “I…I can’t….I’m...I’m going back to Earth.” Dolin stopped yanking on his arm as he turned back, a confused yet devastated look upon his face. “Wha…wh…what? But you promised to teach me…Why are you leaving? Are you coming back? Will you teach me before you leave? I only have to know the basics...I can learn it on my own!!” The lump in his throat grew bigger with every question that he asked…Taking back the arm that Dolin was pulling and placing that one, as well as the other arm, on both of Dolin’s shoulders he would speak. “I…will mostly likely...not be coming back…Things on my home planet are…not good. If I do come back...it won’t be for a while...I’m sorry Dolin...But you have so many great people and masters here; train hard Dolin and one day you could come see me.” Dolin’s face turned gloomy as his lips quivered and a tear started to roll down his right cheek.
“But…but…I want to go with you!!” The fiery namekian said, determination amongst his face as the tears started continue to rain down his green face. “You can train me there while you help with things there, Master Nohkan won’t mind, no one will. I love you Master Katsuo please don’t leave without me!” Toshio looked down and sniffled, he had not been this emotional since the day his father had left him. While still looking down Toshio spoke to the child “I’m sorry young Dolin. My people need me...they ne-” “I need you!!!” Toshio slowly looked up at Dolin, tears streaming down his eyes like a waterfall. “I know you do…I’m sorry…” “No! No no no no! You can’t leave I just started learning under you you can’t! You just ca-” Toshio pulled the yelling and crying namekian into a hug, no other sounds were heard but the sniffles and crying between the two. After several minutes, Toshio pulled the young Dolin away and spoke. “I have something for you…” Toshio then motioned for the adult namekian to hand him the cane that Toshio had used to walk most of the day. Grabbing it and then handing it to Dolin, the elder sage would speak once more.
“This is yours...I want you to have it.” wiping his eyes Dolin looked at the cane and took it. “Why? It’s just a cane...” Toshio smiled through his tears and shook his head. “No...look at it again...It’s the very same cane that took down that giant sea creature…I went back and luckily the wood had not been digested yet and the piece that got stuck in its eye was easily plucked. I stitched it back together with the full intent of giving it to you one day. It was your first victory; you should have such a memento to remember it by.” As Toshio spoke Dolin continued wiping his eyes and staring at the piece of wood, noticing the small splinters in it indicating that it had indeed been snapped and repaired back together. Grasping it hard within both of his hands, he looked at Toshio. “I will never forget that…not because of this stick but because you were there and you helped me with your wise tutelage…I will always remember what you taught and told me Master Katsuo...I promise.” The young Dolin forcefully hugged his mentor once more, Toshio hugging tightly back as well.
The adult namekian that was still there touched Toshio on the shoulder slightly. “Your pod is ready…” the words of the namekian cut through the heart of Toshio as he released the hug from Dolin. “I’ll miss you kid…” Toshio said, half heartily smiling Dolin would respond. “I’ll miss you too old man…” They hugged once more before Toshio slowly got back to his feet, nodded at the other Namekian and turned and walked away toward the outside of Guru village.
Upon arriving Toshio looked at the small space pod, it was far from what he had been brought here on, but at such short notice…this was all that there was. “I hope you have a safe journey and can bring hope and peace back to your people Toshio Katsuo.” The adult namekian would say. As they both walked toward the pod, Smiling, Toshio looked at him. ”Same to you friend, I still have hope that the namekians will once again merge together and become one culture.” Patting the namekian on the shoulder, he would speak a few more words. “Thank you for today…I know this is a tall order but...promise me you will help look after Dolin. If I return...I want to see him as a strong warrior clad namekian. I do believe he will be that with the right guidance and training…I hope you are one of the many right teachers Itar.” Catching the namekian by surprise at his name being said, having never gave it to Toshio. Never the less, the namekian would respond. “I…I will Master Katsuo. I promise I will become more involved in his training and do my utmost best to guide his actions.” The seriousness in the namekians voice all but assured Toshio that Dolin would be in good hands. Stepping into the pod Toshio looked back over the plains in front of him. New Namek, he was getting one last look at the horizons. Smiling a peaceful and warm smile he looked back at the adult namekian once more. “I hope you adhere to your words about Dolin…after all…you are his father.”
Toshio then entered the one-seated small space pod amidst the shocked ‘how did you know?’ expression on the namekians face. As the door closed in behind him he laid back and breathed deeply. A long trip is ahead…I hope I do not arrive too late. I’d hate to disappoint the leader of this F.R.E.E. rebellion. The space pod lifted up into the air. Toshio would take one last look out the red-glass window at New Namek, what he saw instead was Dolin standing next to Itar, his father he had never known about both looking up and waving at the pod, Itar having laid a hand on Dolin’s right shoulder. Toshio smiled as he laid back into his small seat as the space pod then zoomed through the sky and atmosphere of New Namek. Next stop was the master’s home planet. Earth. Another adventure was about to start for the seventy year old half-human.

Much had taken place in the last year, not just for the Earth or the moon but for all of its people, all of those which walked the face of the planet, those that hovered above, even those systems which eyes peered out across the vast span of space they too saw what had become of the Earth and its people; some where angered, others thought it just for the strong to conquer the weak and then there were those that thought to keep to themselves, for nothing but themselves matter above all else. People wept over their losses, their homes, families, a life once lived but took breath no longer for that was now in the past, forever shacked to a fate which loomed over all. Even those which took no place in the grand scheme of the blitz could feel its effects from light years away; people, so many people relocated from their lives to be seen as refugee, searching for that one haven away from the Imperials might, but the universe was never safe no matter where one went.
A unspoken law of the universe haunted each and every soul which took residence within its fabricated walls, for when power emerged it would consume all, taking everything with it till another arose, and like to black holes in a spiraling dance of torment they would face the other till death was the only option, as one rose above the other in victory; history has shown this to be correct. Where the Imperium stood now, holding its lands over the Sol system it too would crumble into the bleakness of space when its time came around but today was not such a day which its radiating light would be cast into nothing more than faint shadows of what was; perhaps fifty years, perhaps one million... even next week? Who could say; only those which wrote of its name, of this people far, far beyond this moment... perhaps even the female alien which glanced out across the stars from upon a spire within the Omega system, her eyes turned away from its structure and out towards where she called home. From here the Sol system was but a dot among a sea of many which all held their own story yet such tales only traveled through its people and not light. There was the longing, a gentle patter within her thought which beckoned her mind to travel home once again, to be apart of her world once more, to find comfort within the Imperiums walls and another in which to call friend.
Time had gone by since last seeing the visuals of the cresting sun burning over the horizon of the seemingly still Earth as the new day came about, the city below awakening for a new day in which to see their Kingdom grow all the more... it was such small things that Maya missed the most though she did not know as to why that was, for such things were menial to any in her existence, they provided nothing of use yet... it was those that she could feel missing from her person... how she longed to see the moon once again... for that's where Akassa was after all. She had sent Maya off beyond her normal scope to seek out Ninjin, to become a guest of his wedding hall and now here she was... waiting, always waiting. For others day to day activity was but snap of the fingers, and before long they would slumber to arise the next day but when one never felt the cool embrace of rest time was a trickle, each minute seeming longer than the one before; while it had only been a few days, it seemed like years to her restless thoughts.
Sighing softly to herself Maya flipped a long strand of hair from her eyes, she knew soon enough she could find herself home once more... death from an old age would never thrive in her body... but time was the killer of all minds if not prepared. A low hum clicked from Maya head with the opening of a channel, there had been no real purpose as to why she had but the world which she rested upon was a live with people, their small worlds, their information which they shared among each other and even those stars which dotted the blackest of nights; for if she could not go to them they could come to her. Tapping into streams of information words flooded her mind like a dry river basin, so much of it was waste yet even in a heap of rubble one could find a diamond... or at least something of interest.
Maya sat there in silence, her back resting against a high rising extension of the spire, it was by far one of the more peaceful places within Omega, enough so that she could do as she wished without another concern for her presence. Her signal increased with her eyes turning back towards the speak of light which was the Solo system, a faint glimmer of smile appeared in her eyes knowing even from here Earth was still within reach.
The broadcast was a strange one, even with her disagreements Maya held her tongue for there would be no purpose to spout venom when prey was no where to be found. She listened, and listened to what the voice spoke, so much was wrong within his speech yet Maya understood from where he spoke; hatred. It was the driving force behind havoc within the universe, the Saiayan's had used such a means to take the Earth though expansion was their official cover Maya knew below all that hatred was the push behind the movement; prehaps not directly from Akassa but those foot soldiers which pounded the Earth, those which felt the sting of humanities dominance through out the years.
"Broccoli Town, Cheeseville, Northern Islands, Starlight Observatory, Central City...." Maya mouthed the words with no voice, followed by deep though of the names.
Each of them, every single location had been home to rebels, those which sought to break the chains of the Imperium from the Earth yet in the end their hope to see a free Earth only caused more chaos, for those which sought out war only brought suffering to those around them. Maya had not been there, nor did she think she would ever be in any of those locations where rebels sought to claim a world but their actions only succeeded to cause more deaths; how many lives would it take before it was over with? Death only brought about more of its kind, a never ending feud which would end when nothing was left but a cold and dead world, one of which no one could call a home ever again.
Central City had been the Human's down fall but not by Saiyan hands alone, for it was the first blast which tore it off the face of the world, the one which scorched its lands black and set the skies ablaze with flames; such fault rests in the hands of humanity, not those which they choose to blame. People go about their lives and blame other for their follies because they do not wish to see past the point where it was their fault, to accept responsibility for their actions and once the wound heals to simply move forward. Central City was a mistake but not one which the Saiyan's made, for the pride of humanity tore the city asunder for the hopes to retain something that was always held loosely, Independence; the price was much to high... as it always is.
With the broadcast wrapping up Maya shook her head from one side to the other with disappointment, after all the destruction and losses she would have thought humanity would have learned by now; war will never lead to a happier existence... she held her part in it as well yet she strove to see something else emerge from all of this suffering. She was unsure if she atoning for her wrong doing, or possibility trying to move forward and away from the past, in the end though it matter not. There was something better out there, for her, for Akassa, for everyone that held the Saiyan banner high above their heads in pride and even those that sought pain upon the Saiyan people... would it be found in time, before all was lost, cast in ashes till there was nothing more than darkness itself. Maya knew she often took the big picture to far out but the ideas were always looming, for when one did not die of natural means the universe was a vast place with a trillion years to watch; she would see Empires rise and fall, stars burst into existence and fade away justly and when all was gone she would be there still, waiting... waiting till the very end.
There was need to reach out, to speak to the man yet she lacked any means to do it from her place upon Omega. For now she would keep it within her thoughts of what he had said, for soon, she would come face to face with him and end his station once and for all. It was time to go back, to go back home and speak to Akassa and say all she knew, and all that she hoped... it was time.
