One of his ears bent down as the boy aimed the assault rifle at him again. Seriously? He thought. Would the boy truly shoot at him again? Was his ego so large that he would not restrain himself in order to ensure the safety of his so called friends? Boss Rabbit was honestly somewhat nervous. He thought he had been talking to a naive little child, but it was much worse than he thought, the boy didn't seem to possess an ounce of reason. Having never shot a gun before, how could the boy possibly lead himself to think he could aim precise enough to keep Boss Rabbit injured while alive? Boss Rabbit smirked when Shun turned his back at him to shoot his lackey. The incompetent buffoon was useful after-all! The monster took this chance to make a run for it. Although he was probably not as fast as Shun, he was a rabbit, and he came with the nimbleness of one too.
"AgH!" The man cried as the young saiyan mutilated his legs with numerous bullets. At this point, he was in too much pain to make anymore noise. If the man didn't die from the sheer shock and pain, he would soon enough bleed out! His eyes became blurred, but he fought the pain and wave of helplessness which washed over him. Unfortunately, it only took a few moments before the man lost consciousness and collapsed. By the time Shun turned, Boss Rabbit had already changed his location. To the boy's surprise, the monster was standing in front of innocent citizens whom had yet to run away. They were now in the line of fire. Would Shun trust his aim enough to keep the rest unharmed? Boss Rabbit laughed again, the shrill sound of mockery ringing throughout the village. "You want to shoot me? Fine! Go ahead! Just keep in mind that I might just eat your friends!" Boss Rabbit put a carrot in his mouth, but he didn't chew; instead, he held it in-between his teeth. This was a showdown. Would Shun take his chances? Unless he could deal a fatal blow, Boss Rabbit would no doubt use the last of his breath to bite off a chunk of the carrot in his mouth. One out of three carrots had been eaten, even if the first had been a stick, the one in his mouth was most certainly Atlas or the heran hostess.

Shun gasped and held his heart. He slightly dropped the gun but caught it in his little hands and did not shoot anymore. He thought he could be fast enough but alas he proved to be a failure once more. Now his friend and an innocent woman was lost as well as man who was shot up for no reason. Shun snapped back to his senses and threw the weapon to the ground. He ceased the chase and let the boss rabbit get away. He could not bring himself to put more people and innocent lives in danger because of his false bravado and incompetence. The child began to tear up and sat on the ground, looking up at the sky, recalling memories of abandoning his first friend on the moon. Once again history repeats itself and the boy could not do a damn thing about it. He sighed and wiped the tears from his face, getting up and picking the weapon up. The boy did not look it but inside he felt like he dishonored King Ivan..
Shun frowned and threw the gun over his back and looked around, he knew that he had already lost when he tried to fight that rabbit monster.. So Shun had set off towards the city gates. It's gonna be tough for the kid on his own now. Shun knows he should have stayed and fought that monster rabbit guy... But the child was feeling terrified, He was super scared of hurting more people. Which is understandable because villains like him are really cunning and resourceful. Shun was being unreasonable and he was burnt out on dealing with this stress.. He was not prepared to fight someone like that.. Shun felt this huge hole in his heart as he walked off. All he wanted to do was eat and go to get rest with his friend for the day and now he caused the death of three lives over his carelessness. "I'm sorry Atlas.. I tried" He sniffled. "I really tried..." he choked out softly as a tear falls down his face and onto the ground. He rubbed his nose and looked back at the town once more. He wished that he could rewind time and go back to fix this grave mistake but then again it would not matter because fate would make sure that the same thing happened every time. The boss rabbit was just too cunning and deceptive to him. So there goes Shun, walking on wards to the gate. Heading towards his destiny, he is sure he'll figure something out.

Boss Rabbit grinned as he watched the fire die out from the boy's eyes. This was his favorite part! 'The big hero', 'son of a King', had lost his stomach and could no longer bare the cruelty of life. The young boy turned from them and headed towards the gate. Just. Like. That. Boss Rabbit burst into a cackle. "HAHAHAHAHHA! That's right! Get outta here! Gee, if you had only done as I said from the beginning, maybe all of this could have been prevented?" The villagers lowered their heads. It was a long time since any of them had caught a glimpse of hope and now that it shined ever so slightly, it was taken from them once again. Shun was not the first to try and undermine Boss Rabbit, many failed before him. Perhaps this served as a life lesson for the boy? Regardless... Hearts were beating. Adrenaline flowing. The blood of those present had been boiling. It all amounts to one thing in the end, as all the anxiousness and overwhelming stress could break a man. Holding back for so long, staring blankly at nothingness as one just watched their loved ones being torn from this life. It spoke volumes that only a young child had the guts to stand up and now that spirit had been fading.
There was only so much a man could withstand before they break...
CHOUK!
The trigger had been pulled. A bullet had passed cleanly through the skull of an unsuspecting villain. Silence... The carrot on Boss Rabbit's hand would fall on the ground, soon to be followed by the one which hanged by its mouth. The handgun had been held by none other than the heran waiter that had been stiff for so long by his restaurant door. He couldn't take it anymore! His face was contorted with seething pain and anger. Both arms were extended in front of him with hands grasping the gun for maximum balance. Soon after, once the intensity had passed over him, the man dropped to his knees and lowered the gun to the ground. The villagers would have cheered, if it weren't for the possibility that one of them had just been eaten. Was this truly a victory? Tears welled in the man's eyes as he looked at the two remaining carrots that now rest on the ground. With Boss Rabbit dead, nobody could turn them back to their original selves. "But it's still a chance..." he finally uttered. "No matter what, I will find a way to turn them back..."

The child dragged himself along towards the town gates, sobbing. He scratched at his neck toughly and sniffled audibly as he inched towards the gates. In his head he was having a battle.. a conflict with himself. 'Turn around you idiot! You are still breathing! SO GET YOUR ASS BACK THERE ARE KILL HIM!' The brave side yelled and stressed to him. This was the side that was carefully brought out of him, cultivated and nurtured by Ivan. 'I can't.. I am weak.. I disgraced father.. I am not worthy of being called a prince.. I have dishonored dad..' His coward and timid side that controlled his most of his actions and decisions for most of his life said to him, putting him further into this quagmire of self pity and doubt. He knew that his inactions was tearing him up on the inside but the boy was spiritually defeated. 'Stop kicking your own ass! You are better than this! Don't let anyone else steal your glory! Your friend could be dead! TURN AROUND! GO SAVE YOUR FRIEND!!!' Shun stopped in his tracks, He could hear the rabbit monster cackling. He looked down and balled his fists. He felt so wrong for just deciding to walk out on his promise and now this might haunt him for a very long time. He took a deep breath and went to turn around.
Shun realize that this was not what real stress was.. He was merely being a brat.
CHOUK!
Shun's ears had jumped and it would have seemed as if all time had come to a halt. He knew that sound. It was the same sound that came from a trigger being pulled. As he completed his about face, he seen the boss rabbit twitch and release the carrot in his hand. Shun was frozen as he saw that there was a clear hole through the rabbits skull. Shun's eyes jumped as the rabbit monster was now laid flat out on the ground. He ran towards the rabbit monster quickly but slowed down as he seen that the person behind the killing shot and gun was the nice heran waiter man. Shun gulped silently and stopped in front of the waiter. His eyes went to the rabbit and then back to the waiter. Shun seen tears forming in the heran man's eyes and he went over and picked up the carrots carefully from the boss rabbits corpse, swiping his glasses in the process and pocketing them with a quickness. Shun looked down at the carrots in his hands and frowned. He took a moment and looked towards the heran waiter and sighed. "There is always a chance.. We will find a way.. If you would have me.. This is all my fault and I was being stupid.. I am sorry mister waiter.." Shun sniffled, looking down at the carrots. He hoped that he could redeem himself.

The heran waiter had not looked up at the boy, only listened as he groveled in his own self pity. He shook his head. "No Shun, you shouldn't be sorry. Thanks to you, the villagers don't have to live in fear anymore, Boss Rabbit's dead." The man wiped the tears from his face. It may have been his gun that killed the rabbit, but it would have never occurred if not for Shun whom had opened his eyes. "For so long we have lived in fear of the Rabbit Mob. So many innocent people had fallen to its monstrosity, but we were afraid of standing up to him. We were so afraid of dying and failing that we died a million deaths before this very moment happened." The man looked up to the boy and offered him a awkward smile, "Thank you for liberating us Shun. For liberating me." His eyes then shifted towards the carrots in Shun's hands.
"What are we going to do about them?" He asked, hoping the boy might have known something. With all the magic that seemed to appear even under the rocks of this vast land, the Heran population did not possess a single drop of it in their blood. They were a civilization that depended on the use of ranged modern weapons and technology.
Suddenly, another Heran stepped out from the silent crowd. "The Elven Forest is the most magical place I know, although I've never been there, it might be a good place to start."

Shun smiled widely at the heran waiter. He actually expected to be chewed out by the man for his irresponsible behavior. Shun took a deep breath and let this experience be a valuable lesson to him. Shun would hope that the next time he is faced with situations that calls for strength and endurance he could step up and rise to the occasion. Shun started to feel better and brought his gaze down to the carrots. "I hope to liberate the whole town.. there are still remnants of the rabbit mob out there.. I know it.. There will be no more deaths.. W-we have a choice in this beautiful village.. We can sit here just accept people and outsiders that would promote conflict and terror…. That is one option." Shun shrugged and looked around "Or, at this moment, on this day, we can come together and say, 'Not this time….' Let us resist these vile villains that has poisoned your community for too long." Shun raised a carrot in the air.
Right after he looked up that risen carrot and took a bit to think of an answer. He lowered his hand and rubbed his chin. He knew nothing about magic ki and he figured that the heran people would know a little something about how the former boss rabbits magic and witchcraft would work. "Hm well... I figured you guyses would know a thing or two about reversing the boss rabbits sorcery eheh! hmm.."
As shun was about to open his mouth he noticed a Heran stepped from the crowd of Heran people. "Elven forest you say.. Well I will head off immediately if that's a good place to start.. I thought elves were just creatures of fantasy!.. wow.." Shun began to become very excited and looked at the carrots, "There is always hope.." He smiled softly.

The heran stood up and rest his hand gently on the boy's shoulder, he shook his head. "We don't need to worry about remnants of the Rabbit Mob. With Boss Rabbit gone, they can no longer hold us hostage. They may arise, but the people of this village will not stand for it any longer."
Medics would rush in to observe the mob goon whom Shun had shot previously. However, the man had already bled out and died. He would be carried for a proper burial. "Unfortunately, Shun, we don't know much about magic. Although I think we have a bit of elven blood ourselves!" he commented, bringing attention to his pointy ears. If Shun had paid attention, he would notice that all the herans had the same extended ears. "With that said, I agree, we'll use my car to get to the Elven Forest. The heran waiter went into the restaurant to drop off his apron. He would then approach a vehicle parked by the restaurant, unlocking its doors with the press of a button. He waved farewell to the other villagers, waiting for Shun to get into the car. "We'll be back!"

Shun sighs as he looked at the deceased mob goon, feeling horrible. The boy never truly understood the true damage a bullet can cause. He only thought it could hinder and render a person unable to make any movements. He did not have any clue or would have even imagine that it would cause him to die from bleeding out.
However, Shun was elated that the people would start to stand up for themselves and take no crap from any outlanders or trouble from within their own community. The rabbit child blushed and scratched his head, laughing nervously as he just now noticed that these blue people had elegant pointed ears that elves were famous for. Shun continued to walk with the man, looking up at him. "I rode a space ship, but never a car! I can't wait hehe!" Shun giggled. He totally forgot about eating as the revival of his friends were more important. He made sure to hold the carrots with care and caution because he did not know if they could feel anything or not. Well Shun and the waiter finally came upon the car and shun eyes widened and he slightly jumped at the sound of the doors being unlocked. Shun also waved back at the villagers as he carefully opened the door and got in. He closed the door and started to play with the seat belt. He was oblivious to what this weird strap was so he shrugged and left it alone, sitting back and looking at the heran man with his huge rabbit eyes.

The rabbit child and the Heran man had been traveling for a good while.. They shared stories about their experiences. The boy mostly brought up the mysterious woman he had met and how she bestowed him with the moujuujin. He often stared out of the car window, daydreaming of what he could have done right without acting like a smug little brat. He was sad from the thought that he put his friend in harms way as he stared down at the carrots in his hands. He was sick at the thought at eating them.. He did not want to eat, he wanted to help fix his friends. He prayed silently that when they come back to normal that nothing about them would be altered and hoped that the rabbit only ate the stick. Shun turned his gaze back to the setting sun, smiling with a glint of hope.
