He could hear the cheer of the crowd as the doors to the arena opened up. The sound waves hit him like a wave, but luckily his costume dampened some of the roar. Now was his time to shine at last. He had seen alot of aliens at this tournament, some were worthy to fight, the others, he could wipe the floor with them. "Vegeta is here bitches!" He said as he threw his hands up to greet the crowd as he started to make his way up the stairs. Saiyans from all over the galaxy cheered for him, fueling his sense of pride as he climbed the stairs.
He reached the top, wondering who, and what his opponent would be. And no matter who he was paired up with, he would do his best to wipe the floor with him...or her. 'Whos my first victim...." He wondered.

Truffle walked up the steps of the arena ring slowly. There was a lot on his mind stemming from his last few rounds of fighting and from watching the brutal and bloody match between Akassa and Ninjin. His mind was racing so much that he almost didn’t even hear the announcer call out his name. There was a mixed reaction in the crowd, those who had watched his first two fights were cheering loudly, along with those that came from the Moon to watch the royal family compete. The rest were a mix of cheers just because they were going to get to watch a fight, and boos because of Truffle’s appearance.
Truffle was used to being judged by his appearance. You don’t get to walk around as an almost 10 foot tall creature that nobody has ever seen before and not get a few strange looks thrown your way. Combined with the fact that he had bright blue fur, massive hands and feet and horns jutting from his head, and you had a mix for a very strange being that turned heads when he walked by. Most didn’t realize just how peaceful and friendly Truffle really was. But when you decided to harm him or go after one of the members of the royal family, that’s when the beast was unleashed.
He recalled back to a time when Ninjin and himself were younger, walking the alleyways of New Vegeta. They had snuck out of the castle because the prince was tired of his lessons, and so he wore a cloak and pretended to be a beggar, and they were able to get away a lot easier than expected. They would later find out that the king knew about all of it, but wanted to see what would happen, and treated it as just another one of the prince’s lessons. Truffle got to sit in on all the lessons, which helped to make him the intelligent, though silent creature that he is today.
They had been sticking to the alleyways for fear of getting caught by a royal guard, and Truffle was walking on all fours, as if to appear as a mangy dog of some kind. Then a hand fell upon Ninjin’s shoulder. The pair turned around to see four even mangier looking men, the lead one holding a knife.
Well well well, what do we have here boys? A little beggar boy and his mangy little pet. Well…we don’t take too kindly to little boys being in our territory, now do we?
The rest of the group just laughed, and the lead gang member grabbed Ninjin’s shawl and pulled it off. They stepped back in shock.
Boss! This just keeps getting better and better. Look at em! He’s the bloody prince. Do you know how much we could get for that armor that he’s wearing? And if we held him for ransom? We could make so much money!!
The gang leader furrowed his brow.
Shut up, I’m thinking. We can’t hold the brat for ransom, that’ll lead to our deaths. But we can take the armor from him and sell it. And we can take the brats tail from him, that’ll lead to us getting quite the pretty penny. Now come here boy, and don’t you scream.
The lead gang member took a step toward Ninjin, and before he knew what was happening, Truffle had him by the throat and threw him down the alleyway, his body landing with a sick thud. The other gang members looked at the creature, now at his full height of then 8ft and decided that they would all pull out knives as well.
Truffle punched into the brick wall and encased his fists in brick and smashed them over the first two gang members heads, causing them to collapse. The last member turned and high tailed it out of there, and Truffle turned to Ninjin and hugged him close.
Yes, when the royal family was in danger, Truffle got vicious.
He snapped out of his memory and looked across the arena at his next opponent. He was wearing a costume that made him almost look like an insect, with a bright blue visor. Truffle liked the color of the visor, it reminding him of some of the lighter patches of his own fur. He had no idea what the power level of this creature was, but he could tell that it was significantly lower than his own. He wouldn’t take that for granted though, since he knew in his last two fights he had been weaker than his opponents. In battles such as these that the tournament offered, it was best to not judge your opponent before you fought. He had learned that fighting Delucca, who had proved stronger than Truffle, but not as clever. It takes a mix of strength, speed and smarts to beat your opponent in this game. Much the same was as chess.
Truffle saw the man standing across from him on the field, and didn’t really know what to do or say. What was proper etiquette in terms like this? Was it proper to bow to someone before you beat the tar out of them, or did we just start the battle? Truffle wasn’t sure, and was a little angry with Ninjin that he had never taught Truffle what to do in this case. The man was still standing across the ring from him. The bell to start the match hadn’t rung yet. Were they waiting for Truffle to do something? He couldn’t think of anything. He put his hand up and awkwardly waved, the way a six year old would wave to a stranger. Well….I feel like a fool for doing that….
The announcer gave Truffle a look like he was an idiot, and Truffle certainly felt like one. He then raised the microphone to his lips, and called out to the crowd. “Ladies and Gentlemen, are you ready for one hell of a fight?” The crowd roared in anticipation, ready to see the giant blue creature and the armored bug go at it. “WELLLLLLLLLLLL LET THE FIGHT COMMENCE!” He said, throwing his hand up to signal the start of the fight. Truffle just stood there looking at his opponent. He would let this man make the first move, and gauge how much trouble he would be by that.

As he saw his opponent walk up on to the arena, and he heard the fight was on, he couldnt help but laugh. "Really? You expect me to fight this walking carpet?" He said, a tad bit upset that he wasnt paired up with another humanoid. But as he tried to sense where the creatures power level was, it was much higher then his own, and knew he was in trouble right from the start.
"Hes big, and powerful....Though, he might be lacking in speed. Ill have to be vigilant to find any weaknesses and exploit them." He thought to himself, as he moved both of his hands to his sides, and began to focus his energy while keeping an eye on the creature. Due to its size, Vegeta thought that keeping a watchful eye on him would be very easy, mostly due to its colour.

Truffle could tell that at first Brandon Potter was not at all impressed with him. And he could see the slight shadow of a smirk underneath that blue faceguard that he was wearing. Truffle was unsurprised. In fights like this it’s easy to judge a book by its cover, which was what Truffle was trying hard to not do. But Potter looked something like an action figure in his little suit of armor, and Truffle was resisting the urge to grab him by the waist and lift him up and spin him around, and pretend that he was flying. Truffle shook his head, getting that thought out of his mind. He didn’t think that sort of thing was legal in the fight, but if it was, maybe he would get to do it.
Truffle stepped forward a little, trying to gauge where the fight was going to go. He had thought that he would let Potter take the offensive at first, because he could tell that the man was weaker, but Potter seemed unfazed by this, and this made Truffle wonder. Perhaps he had more strength than he was letting on? Maybe he had a transformation like the one Truffle himself was hiding. If so, Truffle would have to be careful when and if Potter decided to let it show. Truffle might have to let the blood red seep into his fur, and use the strength the Hattori’s had shared with him. He would be practically unstoppable if that’s what it came to. He noticed a slight movement out of the corner of his eyes, so slight that the untrained eye might not have seen in.
Potter moved his hands to his sides, and Truffle could feel an energy shift emanate from him. He was planning something, but Truffle had no idea what it could be. This would be more than an interesting fight. Truffle got into a fighting stance of his own, and roared at Brandon, the loudest roar he could muster, seeing if the scare tactic would work, and since he couldn’t talk smack, that was the only way of communicating with his opponent, warning him. Truffle’s power level was a lot higher, he could tell, than Potter’s so he wanted to give the little creature an out. Maybe if he roared loud enough, he could spare the humanoid a beating that would possibly be pretty brutal. Maybe, if the little thing was lucky, he would turn tail and walk straight out of the arena. But it didn’t look like that was going to be the case.
After roaring, Truffle did the next logical thing. He smashed his fists into the ground and pulled them out encased with the marble flooring of the arena. If Potter wouldn’t bring the fight to him, he would have to take the fight to Potter. The marble flooring was stronger than most of the rocks he was used to encasing his fists in, and Truffle was thankful for that, it being a prominent reason he had won his first two matches. This third, he felt, would probably be as equally tough as the others, though he couldn’t place a finger on why he was getting that feeling.
He charged forward, throwing the rock from his left hand at Potter’s torso, and jumping in the air intending to hit a super-man style punch on the smaller man. If the first rock hit Potter, than Truffle would be more than likely successful in his super-man punch, and the match might end right then and there. If Potter dodged the rock, Truffle’s punch would more than likely miss, and he would be open to an attack or two from the humanoid. The fight was really beginning, and it was going to be a brutal contest of strength, speed and skill.

He watched Truffles roar at him, but was not effected by its fear factor, as he stood his ground, and continued to charge up his attack. "Got two words for ya Hair ball.... 'Breath Mint'" He said with a grin under his helmet. And just when Vegeta started to think that this beast was primal, he saw it smash its fists into the ground, and augment its hands with stone.
"Thats... not good!" He said as the beast threw a rock at him, and leapt into the air. "Gotta move!" He said, putting his charge on hold as he leapt to the side, avoiding both heavy attacks as he came to a skid on his feet, energy still charged in his hands. And now, He had a point blank assault oppertunity knocking at his door. "Maybe if I blind him, I can have a chance." He thoght, as he merged his energy into his hand that he had built up from before. And aiming for his face, he thrusted his palms forward as he shouted "Dragon Flash Wave!" as the energy ball in his palms, and an explosive beam erupted fro his hand, aimed right at Truffles face at near point blank range.

The explosive beam shot from Brandon Potter’s hands and Truffle barely had time to react before the beam would smack into his face. He did the logical thing, being a Hoyo, and opened his mouth. The beam shot straight into his mouth and he swallowed it, storing the ki energy for later. Brandon probably hadn’t known about the Hoyo’s innate ability to swallow the ki energy that is shot at them, and use it for themselves, and in fact, this was a trait that many beings across the galaxy would not have known, especially since the Hoyo’s numbers had dwindled to one. Truffle smiled, knowing that the swallowing of his attack would catch Brandon off-guard. The kid didn’t see this one coming. Truffle thought, And he certainly won’t be expecting what I can do with it now that I’ve stored it up.
Truffle swung his large fist at Brandon’s head, hoping to collide with an attack, and if it hit, he would follow it up with a blow from the other massive paw as well. If Brandon were to duck, it would open Truffle up to an attack, but Truffle wasn’t worried. Brandon would have to seriously power up to do any lasting damage to him, he could sense that the young Saiyan wasn’t in his level when it came to power and strength. If Brandon were to avoid his attacks, Truffle would bide his time, and save that stored energy for when he really could use it, when it would be most to his advantage, and for when he could use his ultimate attack: The Ganache.

Brandon: 877 Pl Truffle: 3,355 pl
Winner: Truffle
After reading through the fight we feel both players wrote well, but Brandon's inactivity was the main reason the fight was not finished. Because of this Truffle is being awarded the victory because we believe it is deserved. (the pl conri earned was teh average of celeh's, Banduk, Frigid and Zekes fight). The two of you have 2 more posts each to end the fight if you want or Conri can end it in one, whatever works.
