Both fighters’ names would be heard over the louder speaker, cheers coming from the crowd as they are announced. The contestants were to climb the stairs to opposite sides of the platform and take their places. Once both were ready they were free to start their match. It was finally his turn to enter the arena against an opponent that would hopefully provide him with something of a challenge. The roar of the crowd was deafening as his name was called plenty of people having apparently become a fan of his fighting style. Though he knew what they were really calling for, they wanted these two fighters to demolish each other for their entertainment. It was the same for all tournaments, but that wasn't the reason that he had joined this tournament for anyways. Conri was here to fight the strongest people that he could find and become the strongest warrior there was, it was a simple thing for him. Still, might as well play up the crowd a bit to make them happy.
As he came out into the lights he waved towards the crowd, giving his best smile that he could manage. Sadly, it wasn't a whole lot for him as he just wasn't in the mood to be acting happy with people. There was a lot on his mind right now, so he'd rather just get this fight over with so he could find a quiet place to relax. Entering without a word, he simply took out his new ear buds and placed them in, cranking up the music that he would be listening to for this fight. It was his way of getting into the fight, finding the rhythm of this battle and then taking the fight to his opponent. Tapping his foot in sync with the beat of the song, he waited for his opponent to step up and get things started.
There was just something nagging at him that kept him from really getting into these fights, but he couldn't figure out what it was. The music was the only thing that seemed to even remotely help get him into the grove again, but lately he'd been getting angry easily. It was really starting to bother him just how easily he'd become agitated, especially with coming into contact with those asshole from his past. Shaking his head, he needed to clear his thoughts so that he could focus on the match.
Taking a deep breath he left he music flow throughout his body, giving him more energy to get into the mood for the fight.

His arrival had been uneventful, that is to say he had nothing to show for it. So far in the few weeks he had been cognitively functioning he had done very little. He had of course named himself which in and of itself was probably the most important thing he had done so far, but his purpose was yet unfulfilled. He had gone to the city as directed only to find himself shuttled off here. Frankly it was pure luck that he was standing before an opponent at all, and his understanding of what was going on was very limited.
Stepping forward until he was exactly ten feet away from his opponent, the small glasses over his face hid the movement of his eyes. The backlogs beginning to take their effect. The picture was an identical match to the one he had been shown prior to the fight, so this man had to be Conri Lane. No other data was available for this man...big surprise. No data was available for any of these fighters, it was really starting to put a damper on his plans of finding and protecting someone....anyone.
Well he certainly wasn't going to protect Conri, the objective here was simple, fill his back logs and progress through the tournament if possible, and if not...there was always more back logging.
"I am prepared to fight"
If his opponent could even hear him over the music blaring in his ears, it would signify that the match could finally start.

His opponent entered into the ring next, and from Conri’s perspective he looked like a kid. Was he really supposed to fight this little guy? It seemed a bit awkward of a matchup but that was the draw of the tournaments as well, he supposed. Random opponents where the fight will be even or one of the fighters will overwhelm the other in a show of force. The roar of the crowd steadily rising now as the fight was about to commence and they could see the battle that was about to start. A few spoken words and the referee gave the signal for them to start the fight for this round.
“I hope you’re ready for this,” he gave fair warning to his opponent even if he couldn’t hear a response. With a slight bend of his knees Conri kicked off with incredible force, speeding across the ring, he threw out his left arm aiming a palm strike at his opponent’s chest. Following through on the attack he brought his right leg up diagonally in relation to his own body, aiming a sidekick for Ryouken’s stomach. He was expecting the attacks to be effective, but he had no idea since he wasn’t able to get a reading on this guy’s power.
Then he moved back a bit to create some distance and see what kind of fighting ability his opponent had in them. He was able to bring out his full power, but he still wasn’t able to get himself into the fight, something was keeping him from enjoying it like he usually did. He’d do what he had to and finish the fight as quickly as he could, then see about trying to get his head cleared out. It seemed that even the cigarette he had before was doing nothing to help him focus on things, the motorcycle was just it.

Tilting his head to the side in a quizzical manner Allistar was stuck. He had said he was ready, and then his opponent expressed concern about his being ready. Perhaps his grasp on the English language was not sufficive, but it appeared as though the man had not already heard him. He wouldn't have much time to contemplate this as his opponent burst forward pulling his arm back for a solid strike the the chest.
It landed cleanly, Allistar sliding on his feet backwards through the gravel before being met with the second part of the attack, a powerful sweeping kick to his mid section. This attack did not simply send him back a few inches, but effectively knocked him down, flying a few feet to the left before landing on the ground with a loud THUD.
...
...
"That...almost hurt"
No, he was not trying to antagonize his enemy. He was unaware that statements like that were often made to make their opponent angry. No he was being most literal in what had just happened. Being mostly mechanical it was very difficult to feel pain. Pain was possible, but it took a little extra something to get it out of an android. Not to say the damage itself was any less, but the pain had not caught up to the reality of the fight. Standing up, his body moving perfectly back up into the same position he had been in prior to the attack, his arm's went up, his glasses again hiding the rapid movement of his eyes as they analyzed the potential options for defense. Yet he would not move or say anything, just watch and contemplate his options, meaning not only the first move, but the second would also be his opponents.

Both strikes hit true which seemed a bit odd; he had assumed this person was around his own power level. If that was the case he should have been able to avoid those attacks, well even if he already wasn’t in the mood to fight this made it worse. The fact that his opponent was of a lower power than him just took every remaining bit of interest from the fight, or even if his opponent just decided not to dodge he’d be disappointed. That wasn’t the trademark of someone that should be called a warrior, but he supposed not everyone thought the way he did either. Oh well, it would have been nice to have an opponent that would match him in that regard.
It seemed his opponent had something else to say as well, but with the ear buds in place he didn’t hear a thing. Now his opponent was just standing there watching him, waiting for him to make another move which was somewhat annoying he had to admit. This was a tournament fight, but he was just standing around doing nothing. Well, if that was the case then Conri wasn’t going to worry about dominating the battle anymore and planned to end it. Unleashing his absolute maximum power, he took a stance holding his arms over his head and charging a large amount of Ki into his hands.
Whether he was going to do something in reaction to this or not, Conri didn’t really care. If his opponent didn’t even look like he wanted to try and fight, then he would end it. Gathering more and more Ki, the charge in his hands continued to grow even more powerful. The energy began to ripple out from the Half-Saiyan and even those not that skilled in energy sensing would be able to tell there was a lot of power building in this next attack. Charge 1

Conri: 3,555 Ryoken: 957
Winner: Conri
After reading through the fight we feel both players wrote well, but Ryoken's inactivity was the main reason the fight was not finished. Because of this Conri is being awarded the victory because we believe it is deserved. (the pl conri earned was teh average of celeh's, Banduk, Frigid and Zekes fight). The two of you have 2 more posts each to end the fight if you want or Conri can end it in one, whatever works.

There was no helping what was to come next, his opponent didn't seem to want to do much to partake in the tournament. So, it was time for Conri to put an end to this and he had just the means to do it. Thanks to the time they spent just staring across the way from each other, the Half-Saiyan had managed to charge a nice amount of energy. Firing his Masenko, it ripped across the arena towards his opponent, tearing a ridge through the floor. The blast hit squarely, sending the person from the ring with a powerful explosion.
The referee called the match in his favor, but there wasn't much to celebrate really. After all the fighting he had been through to prepare for this match, there wasn't a whole lot for him to do. It seemed like wasted effort on the part of those he went up against, but he would be moving onto the next round. With a half wave to the crowd, he headed back towards the rejuvenation tanks to recover a bit more than he had before this fight. If push came to shove, he may not have walked out of this one, but it seemed there was no such challenge for him today.
Maybe his next opponent would be willing to push him to the absolute limits his power could take him. (Figured I'd just go ahead and end it.)
