Even after obviously being beaten, the man continued to advance. As sad as his attempts were, each only furthered Frigid's choice to let the fight die down as it would. He could not strike this man a single time more. As his fingers met the forehead of the man, he only slouched over Frigid's only shoulder. His response to Frigid's last comment exactly what Frigid wanted to hear. "We will fight again... and I will win."
There was a sense of poetry as the man then slumped over, falling to the floor. His breath grew short and exaggerated. He had did his best. As the crowd actually booed at the end of the fight, Frigid raised a hand, "Do not boo this warrior, or myself" he commanded, his voice much more booming than it had ever been during the fight, "This fight... Their are no words to describe it. This warrior has truly proven himself. And for that, he should be revered!"
Though the crowd may have disagreed, Frigid crouched down low to his opponent, carefully taking hole of him and slumping him over his shoulder. He would be sure that this man would make it to his recovery chamber. He would be sure that the man's final promise could be honored. As Frigid left the ring with the unconscious man over his shoulder, the crowd seemed speechless. This must have been the first time they'd seen an fighter treat his opponent with such respect. But Kurosanai had earned it. And there was no way Frigid would surrender his body to anyone but the medics who waited behind the heavy, metallic, double-doors that the two had entered from.
