Both fighters’ names would be heard over the louder speaker, cheers coming from the crowd as they are announced. The contestants were to climb the stairs to opposite sides of the platform and take their places. Once both were ready they were free to start their match.

Snow entered the arena as he did he stepped up to the stadium stage and waited for his opponent to come. He was expecting this fight to be a fight between Leke and his new friend Frigid. Yet now the two Icers were fighting each other. A tournament official came up to him and said as the crowd looked onto him, "Look, I know you're wondering why you're here, but here's the simplest explanation. Leke lost due to a small fluke. His beam knocked him out of the arena."
Snow shrugged and looked up at the crowd around him hoping Frigid would come to face him soon. He wanted to fight and he hoped he would get a better chance to fight now. He had failed in his last fight and won by chance it sounded like.

After a long, well deserved rest in the rejuvenation chambers, Frigid was ready to fact his next foe. He'd been waiting all this time for this. A chance to fight the man that had saved his life that fateful night. The reason he had entered the tournament, "Snow..."
More than ever now, Frigid was convinced that destiny and fate played such a huge part in this. So many small things had lead up to this moment, matched with just as many big events. And as each played in Frigid's head, he imagined just how different things could have been. He could still be a royal guard, or his story could have simply ended the day he left the kingdom.
As he waiting near the doors to the arena, his fingers scanned the brackets that hung on the wall. For those that advanced, their names were neatly sitting on the correct ladder. For those that had lost, a thick red line through their names. Frigid's cold orange finger stopped on the name of his last opponent as he let out a chuckle, "Kurosanai, you taught me so much in our last bout. It was a shame it had to end, but I thank you. The effort you gave was a wake up call, and I hope that you see me do the same in my next match."
It was true. Kurosanai had showed Frigid such determination in his last fight, continuing even when he knew there was no chance. Frigid admired the man so much for that. And he would be sure to not disappoint him. Snow would have his match, and Frigid would give his all to make sure it would be a fight to talk about for years.
As his name rang across the room, a smile crossed his face, "Well, I guess this is it..." and with that, the small Icejin pushed through the heavy doors, only to be thrown back into the chaos that is the Colosseum.
As he entered the ring, he faced a familiar Icejin, whom he gave a sincere bow to, "It is good to see you again, Snow. I hear you had quite the close call in your last fight." Frigid had heard the outcome of the battle was almost too close to call, and he hoped that this fight would live up to the hype.

"I suppose I did, I um, nearly had my back fried..." Snow stated as he looked at the orange Icejin before him he recognized him as Frigid, a new friend of his and smiled.
"...but if there's one thing for sure I'll be fighting in this next round. My opponent had a small fluke with his attack and put so much power into it the judges said he fell of the stage. A ring out is a loss you know." Snow shrugged his shoulders and beckoned Frigid with a flick of his index finger.
"Come try and fight me please if you would. I'm at full health right now thanks to some bed rest." Snow stated in a low tone. He wondered if Frigid could hear him though because the cheering of the crowd was quite loud at the moment he said these final words. Once he was done though his eyes glazed over and switched to a powerful glare. He brought his knuckles together and cracked them.

A smirk ran its way across Frigid's face as he gave Snow a nod. There would be a fight, alright; "Then allow mt to be the first to say lets cut the crap. I want this match to be a good one, so..."
Crouching down low, arms bent beside him, his hands balled into fists, Frigid's power exploded outwards. First a small shockwave, followed by a brutal aftershock, which blew the crowd back in their seats. As his power began to escalate, his golden ki began to swirl around him, "Aaaaaaaaaah," the Icejin began to roar, his power surpassing levels his first form could contain.
In a violent display, Frigid's tail doubled in length, as his face seemed to buldge, distorting under the power. His fingers doubled in size, followed by his toes. It was truly a display of a horrific freakshow as looking at him seemed like looking through a fun house mirror. But as his legs, arms, and torso also doubled, he began to look more normal.
Finally as his horns spirled out like a screw, the transformation was complete, and Snow would be staring a Brute in the eyes, "Your turn, my friend," his tone was deeper than in his base form, but retained the gravely-growl like voice he had. It only seemed more suited to the demon standing in the arena, how stroked the small horn beard that sat neatly on his chin.
How exciting, he thought to himself as the crowd roared at the transformation, Finally, I will be able to see what Snow is capable of. I will earn his respect. A sadistic grin crossed his face as he waited for his opponent to make his move. And with the fight being only mere seconds from beginning, Frigid was filled with more excitement and anticipation than ever.

Snow stepped back a bit shocked by the golden energy that surrounded Frigid as his muscles bulged and his horns spiraled outwards. He could see his friend's much longer tail and Snow thought to himself about the matter at hand. A gigantic Frigid versus his current self, or a battle of brute monsters? It was a hard choice to make but Snow finally made it.
He pointed a finger at Frigid and said, "I don't think I'm going to take you on in my Brute Form just yet. I might kill you."
Instead he charged forward and aimed a flurry of five punches at Frigid's chest hoping to test his defenses. If he managed to block these or dodge them he would swing his tail around in hopes of whipping his foe across his right set of ribs, possibly taking him off balance if he were lucky. It was more likely though Frigid would stop his first set of attacks, as Snow's fist came forward to try and meet his solar plexus, before he could perform the combination he wanted.
The fight though was now beginning and although Snow refused to transform immediately he would try to win without his higher form of power. He had gotten lucky against his former opponent Leke Hattori and realized blasting power was not always a good thing. Zeke, a man he had met earlier, had tried to tell him this. So had Conri, Brandon, and Willie. He wasn't sure where they were now, but he hoped he would get to fight some of them again someday soon just as soon as he got Frigid's fight here out of the way. Snow had put himself through a bit of gravity training to get here pondered if such training had actually paid off.
It had already caused him a brief stint in one of the stadium's medical hospitals. No thanks to his carelessness. But Leke's fight had also worn him out a bit too. Perhaps he would not actually make it through this round he realized, but he would try. It was the best thing he could do for the glory of the Icejins.

A hardy laugh left Frigid as Snow spoke of possibly killing him, "I must have never mentioned my time as a royal guard inside the kingdom. You are far mistaken if you think it would be so easy to kill me."
It was then that the Icejin attacked, sending a barrage of punches at Frigid. The Icejin simple scoffed at the attempt, jumping back to avoid them. As he did, a hardy Icejin tail whipped at his right. This did not come as a surprise, as Frigid fought the same way. With a smile, an orange hand would whip up to catch the tail. If caught, Frigid would anchor his heels to the ground and begin to spin. Reaching his peak speed, he would fling Snow high into the air and follow with a barrage of powerful ki blasts.
Though he had fought before in his Brute form, the match was truly starting to bring out his cockiness. As an Icejin, he was never far from blind pride and a feeling of power, but in his Brute form, this would only escalate. However, this was the same for any Icejin; and Snow was just as full blooded as Frigid.

Due to Frigid's overwhelming speed and strength Snow was caught up in Frigid's whirlwind throw before being sent high in the air. There Frigid's ki blasts headed for Snow's exposed chest and exploded on impact. It was not a pretty sight as the now-blackened Snow fell from the sky and hit the ground with a hard thump. He could hear the tile break under him as it stopped his dangerous fall.
"Boo!" Rain, a female Icer who had come to watch Snow fight in the tournament cried. She leaned over the rail and shouted at Snow, "If you're still alive you wimp stop acting dumb and transform already. You did last fight and now this fight you're going to be crushed cause you didn't!"
Snow lay on the ground with splitting headache and could hear Rain's cries. To respond to her shouts he raised his right hand and fired off an ice blast at Frigid hoping to slow him down. His aim wasn't too good though so his attack was rather small and aimed only at Frigid's right arm. That was the best he could do under the circumstances though since Frigid would probably be on top of him in seconds.

Each of Frigid's attacks hit, and as Snow crashed into the arena a few feet from him, a chuckle left his mouth, "Perhaps you should listen to her," He told him, referring to the girl who screamed out from the crowd, "I would hate for our little fight to be over before it started." Frigid was getting cocky, and with that, he'd made a huge mistake.
As the Icejin shot a desperate blast towards Frigid, his right hand shot out to bat it away. But this was no ordinary blast. As it struck the Icejin's hand it burst into frost, which was quickly followed by a cold sensation. Frigid watched as a think coat of ice worked up his arm, freezing all the way to his elbow. Though Snow had showed him this technique before, he had overlooked it. And would now pay the price.
Snarling, Frigid grabbed his frozen arm, "Lucky shot, Snow. Do not expect another!"
(Sorry for the wait and lack of post. My muse faded there for a while...)

Snow used his strength while Frigid cursed him to stand up on his feet and face his opponent. He felt many bruises on his body but focused energy into eyes and fired off a beam of cold ice from his eyes with his Cold Eye Lasers. Frigid was probably too busy worrying about his frozen arm as Snow watched him coddle it and scream at him, "Lucky shot, Snow. Do not expect another!"
Snow though was hoping he would get another shot in with his base form powers active. He had clearly frozen Frigid's arm and with the beam he fired in the direction of Frigid's face he hoped to freeze his entire head, if not his stupid mouth if his attack could hit the large, dumb brute. He had to give Frigid some credit though for knocking him around and blasting him in the air with some energy blasts. He was strong, but if Snow brought out his Brute Form he was sure he could win. This cockiness had only gotten him into trouble so far though so he wondered if he should even follow Rain's words. For now, he did not though and just let Frigid get a taste of the beam of cold icicles that were coming towards his face.
If his beam hit after this he would direct the beam downwards and try to freeze his entire body. It would be fun to make another ice sculpture like he had when he first met Frigid. He had frozen the a female Icejin named Sleet in a similar way and with a solid hit had cracked the ice and caused her to fall down and shatter into millions of pieces. Frigid Icejin would be fun to look at.
(That's fine... Get in what you can and I will too.)

Suddenly eye beams shot from Snow, once again catching the Icejin off guard. Instinctively, his right arm shot up to protect him. As the beams met the frozen limb, they were deflected upwards, and crashed into the ceiling. A sly grin crossed Frigid's face as he looked up to the frozen sky. Maybe his arm being frozen was not such a bad thing.
As the blast connected with the ceiling, the thinner sheets of ice would melt, causing heavy stalactites to form on the thicker sheets. The ki that had been pumped into the blast caused this process to take place in seconds instead of days. As more and more formed, all varying in sized, water began to drip onto the floor, causing the ground to become slick. In mere seconds the arena floor would be like an ice-skating rink.
While watching the large icicles, a plan formulated itself inside Frigid's head. Raising his unfrozen left palm towards the ceiling, he fired one blast at the huge spikes that hung above them. The blast connected hard, shaking hundreds of sharp icicles and causing them to fall towards the two. Keeping an eye on them as they fell, Frigid would rush Snow, taking the blunt from the smaller while avoiding the life threatening ones. His tail would whip hard towards the Icejin, hoping to slam him out of the ring.
Frigid's hoped the icicles would make a good enough diversion to near him to his target and allow his fierce tail whip to connect with Snow's left side. If not, nearing Snow could end up putting him right in the path of a third ice attack, leaving him a defenseless ice cube once again. That was something that the orange Icejin hoped to avoid as he skated towards his opponent on the thin sheet of ice below them.

Snow's eyes continued to glow as he fired off his beam but he was surprised that Frigid was now using his frozen right arm as a shield against it. When the beam hit the ceiling of the fighting ring Snow noticed water drip down from the ceiling as the ice froze there and quickly melted at the same time. The water would pool on the tiled floor and cause Snow to worry slightly. His plan was backfiring and making the square they stood on dangerous for both of them.
Frigid's desire to rush Snow moments later though made the field a dangerous place to be and caused Snow to stop firing his Cold Eye Beam attack. The ceiling was thick, but the icicles were not and thanks to this Frigid's heavy feet against the ground caused them to drop. Snow would be assaulted by many tiny ice spikes thanks to this and while they pelted his hard skin Frigid seemed to take the opportunity to whip his tail around as he approached his foe and hit Snow hard on the left side.
Upon connecting Snow would skid back towards to the edge of the ring, but his strong legs would stop him from completely falling out of the ring. "Crap..." he muttered to himself, "I really do need to take my son's babysitter's advice seriously."
Snow quickly gathered his energy again and began to focus it into his arms, legs, and chest. These bulged to massive size and his fingers and toes became black claws as a white aura of ki exploded from his body and lit up the entire stadium. During this, his face stretched somewhat and grew rounder than before before curling inwards a bit like a Lima bean. Long Horns grew out of the sides of his head and finally spikes grew out of his back and shoulders.
He roared at Snow as he tottered on the edge of the field and cried, "I'm not done yet you tiny orange Icejin! When this is done I'm turning you into an orange cream soda!"
Frigid was in no way tiny with his long spiral horns, and doubled size in body and tail, but Snow at this point felt like belittling him to gain an edge against him in a bad situation. He was sure he was stronger than him now and retaliated by doing the one thing he did best; breaking stuff apart. He would raise his enormous left fist into the air and with a mighty punch attempt to send a shock wave of power into the ground to break the stadium. It was not an official attack tactic of his or any kind of really flashy move like the one he had used before. He simply wanted to use brute force to break everything apart in front of him, except the slab of rock he was standing on. If he did, well, then if Frigid could not fly he would win since his opponent would drop onto the dirt of the asteroid below them. Snow only hoped he would not have to cover the stadium's bill later.

As Snow transformed in front of Frigid, a grin crossed his face. Finally, he would be able to see the man's true power. In a burst of rage, the transformed Icejin smashed a fist into the arena, causing it to literally explode. This caught Frigid off guard as he flew high into the air. Would this be it? Would the fight end here?
Instinctively, the Icejin's arms and legs shot out to his sides, catching him in mid air. As he levitated he was showered in hardy debris, and as the cuts accumulated on his thick skin, blood dripped to the ground. Most his wounds were cosmetic, in none had caused vital damage, but it still stung.
Watching Snow, Frigid shook his head, "What a temper-tantrum!" Frigid shouted, his voice having to fight to be heard over the crowd. There was a mix of excitement and true terror to their voices, and Frigid realized there might have been more to this fight than he'd thought.
Raising his left hand above his head, the right being frozen, a softball sized blast formed. Hurling it towards the Icejin, Frigid aimed the Hell Grenade for Snow's torso. If it connected to anything, the ball would tightly wrap itself around the surface, and explode. Hoping to end the fight now, Frigid's plan was to knock his opponent out of the air, and send him crashing down into to floor where the arena once stood.

Snow's body felt very heavy after having released so much energy in a single punch. His arms hung down at his sides like buckets filled with water and no matter how hard he tried he could not lift them. Even his fingers would not move against gravity and curl into fists which he needed now to block Frigid's incoming attack. Snow was not the one with a temper tantrum. He just simply wanted to win, but now that he could see Frigid could fly his odds were very slim.
The sphere of energy Frigid managed to make slammed into his torso and though his body was powerful it was not strong enough anymore to handle Frigid's Hell Grenade. It exploded in a rather unsurprising fashion and sent him sprawling over the edge of what remained of the stadium. Snow only hoped nobody would send him the bill for the destruction he caused. As his body hit the hard rock ground beneath the stadium he heard the shouts of displeased fans, especially Rain in the bleachers high above him and realized none of them were happy with him. There were plenty though that were happy with Frigid's outcome probably. The sounds of their cheers could be heard and Snow understood now he had lost.

Frigid was as surprised as the crowd with the outcome of the bout. As Snow was shot backwards by the Hell Grenade, Frigid watched from high in the sky. Though he had bested the other Icejin, he felt as if the fight should have continued. Frigi had built up an unreal expectation of the fight, and to have it just end like this seemed so... Wrong.
His feet touched ground near Snow, and his hand rose to offer the man help, "You and I are going to have to finish this another day, on different terms." In his tone there was no pride, or happiness, there was simply dissapointment.
"But we might need a whole planet to ourselves for that match," Frigid joked, hoping to lighten the mood. Though the crowd always seemed displeased with his display of affection, Frgid did his best to remember these warriors were his brethern. Though each was different, each diserved a high level of respect. The fights were not because they hated eachother; they were because each wanted to find out the same thing. Who was the best?
