As the tournament began to wind down some people began the mass exodus that the Omega Collective would probably see soon. Though most would stick around for the finals in the tournament. Kurosanai knew that he had come too far in the tournament to not see who would win the final match. The people that were left was Banduk, the stretchy green Namekian, Frigid, the Icejin who had eliminated Kurosanai, Conri Lane, a fellow Earther, and Truffle, the giant blue fuzzy teddy bear. It was an interesting set of match ups that made for unique fights. Anyone who had left before now were fools or bitter over losing. But since getting eliminated from the tournament Kurosanai had found that he had far too much free time on his hands. He had taken to wandering through the streets of Alpha Prime but he found that most of the locals had been forced out due to the influx of tourists. After a little checking he found out that the majority had been forced into the Gamma Slums. So after some arrangements were made he was off to the infamous slums.
The first thing that he noticed upon arrival was how crowded the slums actually were. He heard that normally they were crowded but because of the tournament it was close to the breaking point. People were left sitting on rooftops, in windows and in the gutters. They were incredibly dirty people and constantly shot filthy looks at the hygienically kept Kurosanai Muzai. No doubt the people here enjoyed watching the tournament to see the violence and skill like everyone else but at the same time they had to hate it due to the fact that they were kicked out of their homes. The fighters he heard had received especially no love as some of the early contestants had gone to the Gamma Slums to wreak havoc on the inhabitants as a way to take out their frustrations. Even though they had been dealt with the hate was still there.
Kurosanai pushed through the crowd of people to find some playing some form of betting game on what he could only assume was a version of alien cock fighting. Everyone was yelling, tossing money left and right and shoving each other. As Kurosanai was able to push his way into the circle he was instantly shoved forward as the fight ended. The crowd instantly grew silent not because he had interrupted the fight, luckily it had finished just moments before. But rather they were able to tell instantly that the prodigy of the Muzai was far from being a local. He could feel the group's anger of the tournament seem to fall on him. He scrambled to his feet and instantly put his hands out in front of him.
"Sorry about that guys. It was far from intentional, I was enjoying the show of the weird alien bird things fighting one another." Kurosanai explained as he put his hands up in front of him. It was then that he was hit by the stench of the people he was surrounded by. It was by far the worst smell he had ever experienced and instantly he resolve was put to test as he tried to keep a straight face. He simply tried to laugh it off which only made things worse. He needed a distraction right now.

With this round of the tournament over, it had taken a few hours before Conri had been in any shape to walk. Another couple before most of the scars had been removed, only a few remaining here and there. Those rejuvenation chambers worked wonders on any kind of injury, it was kind of amazing. With the free time he had until the next rounds actually started, he decided to check out more of the Omega Collective as a whole. There was something off about this place and he wanted to learn as much as possible about it. Granted, it was just a feeling in his gut, but hey what else was he supposed to trust? Having made the necessary arrangements, he was on his way toward the Gamma Sector to see what all was there.
When he arrived, it wasn't hard to see what all was going on here, with people being forced to live in such conditions. The smell alone was potent as well, but seeing all these people living in this kind of manner just angered him. There was no excuse for it in his mind, and there were still so many questions he had about this place. Unfortunately, it seemed that any and all exploration that he had planned would be delayed by a strange sound. Where once there were rowdy people placing bets on some form of illegal fighting, there was now silence. Except for the sounds of someone apologizing in the middle of them, which was rather odd.
Pushing his way to the front of the area, he saw a familiar face standing in the middle of everything. It seemed to be the kid he had met back on Earth, the tumbler as the one woman referred to him as at some point. Though he couldn't remember if he had heard his real name or not, oh well no point in worrying about that. "You just seem to have a knack for getting yourself into trouble, don't you kid?" he spoke out loud, breaking the silence that had been surrounding the little arena. Though he supposed that it wasn't entirely his fault in this area, but that was besides the point right now.
Thanks to the fact that he was wearing the heavy weights he'd been saving for, it helped him blend in with the crowd better. Hopping over the fence, he approached the human "Seems like you've made a few fans down here eh? I hope you have a plan ready for if they decide they like things hostile." It would be better to not harm the people here, but who knew what this kid had in mind. Whatever the case, Conri would try to keep things leveled off for the time being. Everyone staying calm was for the better really.

The crowd did not flinch or even react in the slightest to Kurosanai's attempts at an apology. The bandaged young man looked from left to right and it only seemed to him that it was in all likelihood that he was going to have to fight his way out of this given situation. Of course it was one of the farthest things he desired from the entire situation. He just wanted to be able to enjoy the sights and scenery that the universe had to offer instead it appeared he was about to be dragged into a fight. Then a light at the end of the tunnel appeared to show up.
A man with blue hair and Earth like clothing appeared off in the distance and was saying something but Kurosanai did not quite catch what he had said. He easily hopped over a fence near by and then walked through the crowd pushing his way through like Kurosanai had accidently done only moment earlier. The difference was that the prodigy of the Muzai had drawn their full attention and now wondered if they even noticed the blue haired man standing right next to them. He cursed under his breath as he continued to keep his hands in a non threatening manner. Before he was able to speak to the crowd again the blue haired man spoke.
"Seems like you've made a few fans down here eh? I hope you have a plan ready for if they decide they like things hostile." The man spoke and it was then that he recognized his voice and appearance. Sure enough it was the man that had been in the contest with Kuro, the match of strength, apparently he had found his way to this backwater in the galaxy perhaps to either watch or even compete in the tournament. He couldn't help but wonder how he ended up doing as Kurosanai had been very lax on following the tournament and who was winning.
"Too be honest this was far from what I had intended when I made my way to the Gamma Slums. To me I wanted to see what life was like in the galaxy for the normal person but because of my luck it seems I have stumbled into a bit of a predicament." Kurosanai laughed as he rubbed the back of his head while the man made his way to stand next to him. It was strange finding another person from Earth in the Gamma Slums of all places on top of that it was actually someone the prodigy of the Muzai actually knew. "My current plan was to try and talk my way out of this little predicament I seem to find myself in," Kurosanai trailed off as he looked around to really take in the fact that he was completely surrounded by an ever growing mob.
Suddenly one alien, green in skin tone, covered in scales and adorned with small beady black eyes stepped forward. It began to try and communicate in what the prodigy could only assumed was a very angry tone. He could only assume this as the alien did not have a translator and only seemed to be speaking in forms of clicks. It went on for a good minute or so before the alien stopped leaving Kurosanai standing there with his jaw hanging slightly open as he tried to figure out what to do. Apparently he did not act the proper way as a man ran forward and threw a wild loopy punch at Kuro's face. He had been so confused by the green alien's attempt at communication that he didn't notice the man. Though after he staggered back from it.
"Okay. That is fair, you guys get one free shot and that was it. I did after all break up your game or whatever," Kurosanai said as he was trying to keep his cool. He didn't take to getting punched in the face very well. When a second person ran forward from the crowd and threw a second punch Kurosanai was more than ready this time. He dispatched the guy with three seemingly harmless strikes to the chest. The man froze up and dropped to the ground and when Kurosanai looked up again his eyes were now adorned with blue twisters emanating from his eyes, he now displayed his Aoiro. Before he was able to speak again the crowd had decided that was enough and descended on the two Earthlings.

He had to admit that things around this guy seemed to escalate pretty quickly, and that he seemed prone to tripping. That had almost gotten him into trouble when they first met as well, but that was also partially his own fault. Given he had a bit of an extreme reaction to being knocked into like that, but it seemed like the trait of getting into trouble remained with the kid. That was evidenced by the fact that he was standing in the middle of an angry crowd of people. Unfortunately, these were also people from the shadier side of town, which meant that they wouldn't let him leave that easily. He knew from experience growing up, although he also knew that didn't account for everyone either.
"Well, this is how the people of the Gamma Slums live normally, you good now?" he asked with a bit of an amused tone. Though it seemed that the native of this place didn't exactly feel like waiting for them to finish a conversation. A green alien stepped forward making weird clicking noises for what he could assume was some kind of speech. Angered as it was, he couldn't understand a word it was saying, so figured it was just some sort of thing like an old man yelling at kids on his lawn. It seemed he would be proven wrong, however, when another man came flailing wildly at the other guy. It was a shame that people seemed to think just swing their arms around guaranteed someone would get hit. They weren't trained fighters, and against the two of them, wouldn't be too much of a threat really. At least that was what he had thought until the guy from Earth stumbled backwards from the punch to his face.
A second man rushed forward to attempt another attack, but this time he was put down before he could hit. "This can only end well now," he sighed slightly, he knew it wasn't this guy's fault, but downing the guy so easily made the rest mad as well. Which also seemed to lead to him being caught up in the middle of this little mob rush. "Well, this should be fun then, guess I should try scaring the locals a bit," with a crack of his knuckles he focused his concentration to shape what he needed. Ten blasts of psychokinetic energy arranged in a relatively close formation, each blast being roughly the size of his fist, and being designed to burst on impact. They weren't powerful, so the strain would be minimal on his mind, they were more intended to create a path.
Even if he had no problems of using force, there was no need to go overboard either. When it was finished he released the burst in front of them, the blast knocking over the people directly in front and pushing others out of the way. "Now would be the time to run," he tried to push the kid, to keep him from getting caught up in the pace of the mod rush. They were stronger, if they didn't keep themselves in check they could do some serious harm to these people. It was just unnecessary for them, rather than just getting away from all these Gamma citizens which would be much easier.

As the crowd descended on the blue haired man and Kurosanai the prodigy was left to wonder whether or not he should rethink his strategy of walking up to people in strange places. It didn't seem to work out well for him as this situation kept happening. Perhaps it was in fact a time to change. But until then he had to deal with the current situation that he was in. Two more people rushed forward in the most ungraceful form that Kurosanai had seen in a very very long time. He stepped backwards, just out of the way of the first punch, quickly his hands shot forward and once again the Muzai fighting style was dealt. The man froze up and dropped to the ground. The second threw a looping hook which Kurosanai ducked under and then quickly responded with a jab to the throat. The man instantly fell to the ground holding his windpipe gasping for air.
Before he was able to deal with the next person in line to attack the prodigy he felt a blast of energy shoot past him. It was unlike that of any blast he had seen in his life and his eyes were barely able to trace the energy shoot through the air. Suddenly ten people or so were knocked off their feet backwards into the crowd. However he didn't get any time to try and figure out what was going on as he was suddenly pushed from behind into the crowd who was left stunned by the sudden attack. When he looked backwards he found that the man with blue hair was the one pushing the prodigy of the Muzai from behind. Once they were through the crowd he didn't need to take the hint and instantly went into a fully fledged sprint. It only took a few moments though as the rest of the crowd began to chase the two men through the streets.
Each nook and cranny seemed to produce yet another person that wanted to stop them and pummel them into dust. Sure enough though Kuro danced around each new attack with ease. He could have flown, one of those abilities he had never fully known he had, but that would only draw more attention to the two of them and no doubt cause an even bigger crowd to form. So to Kurosanai the best option was to out sprint them because he worried that if he started fighting these poor people he would either gravely hurt them or eventually the crowd would become too much to handle. Neither case was desirable so Kurosanai was left sprinting through alley ways and cutting around corners. Eventually he found himself at the end of an alley with three large walls around him. He couldn't wait to find out if the blue haired man was behind him as he could hear the crowd still hot on their heels.
"Well, I guess I got to be the friendly neighborhood Spiderman..." Kurosanai mumbled under his breath. He then ran to his right up the wall, after a couple of steps he sprung backwards onto the wall behind him which he immediately launched off of again back to the wall which he did one final back flip over the top of the wall and hid under the lip. He had cleared the thirty foot high walls in for springs in about five seconds and now hid just out of sight. This was rather pathetic for a warrior of his potential but he did not want to hurt any more innocent people then he already had. What happened to the blue haired man would be left to be seen.

It didn't take long for him to start running after Conri had cleared the path of people. The Half-Saiyan dashed after him, though the weighted clothing slowed him down considerably from what he could normally do. Still, it was enough to keep him out of the grasp of the denizens of the slums. He kept his tail wrapped around his waist just to make sure that no one randomly got a hold of it. Narrow streets and alleys passed by in the blink of an eye, as he made sure to stick close to the other Earthling. Better to have the extra numbers in case they were forced to fight as well, even if they were outnumbered their power was at least a good counter.
When he reached the dead end that had been gone down by the other guy, he looked for his own way to get out. He'd seen the acrobatics that had been pulled off, but he really didn't want to do all that himself. Instead, he would do something far more silly and see if anyone believed that charade he was about to use. Creating a box out of psychokinetic energy, he pushed at the wall next to him before entering it, and pushing at the wall inside. Then Conri would raise the energy like it was an elevator, leaving the people looking confused for a moment. Before one of them would try to push the wall himself as if to try and bring the lift back down.
Reaching the top he hopped off to look at the crowd below trying to figure out what just happened there. "That should keep them busy for a while at least," stretching his arms out, he would need to restrict the usage of strong psychokinesis for a while. He didn't want to risk another incident like in the tournament fight with Ninjin. He didn't know if it would have the same effect as last time or if it would reverse, so for the time being he would hold back. Turning towards the guy he crossed his arms once more, they were away from the crowd, so the mob mind would likely die down soon.
"You just know all sorts of ways to have fun, don't you?" he joked, it was a bit funny though that whenever they met, he was causing a commotion of some kind. Was it just being clumsy, or was there something else to it though? He took some time to stretch out his body a bit more though, these weighted clothes were really pushing his muscles to work overtime. Even that little bit of running was more taxing than it really should have been, he wondered what they would do for him.

"I try to keep things interesting around myself. My friend Mozoku doesn't necessarily approve of my antics," Kurosanai laughed back as he rolled out from behind the ledge of the building. He was fully expecting the man to start screaming at him bloody murder. It was a nice relief as he wasn't entirely sure what he was going to do in that sort of situation. He rolled off his shoulder and then got to his knee. From here atop the roofs he was able to see most of the Gamma Slums and it was far from a pretty place. The buildings were packed on top of one another while the people were stacked five to where it would only normally fit one. He couldn't believe people lived in such a manner as he was normally accustomed to the vast open space that surrounded the Muzai compound. He had never seen this many people outside of the cities on Earth and he never figured they would be packed like this.
He rolled his head to the side causing it to let out a loud crack . It was then that Kurosanai laid eyes on the man with blue hair. He recognized him from before in a time far from here. He was the flamboyant looking saiyan from Earth. The one that had participated along him and the tiger man in the strength contest put on the leader of the circus, Adrien La'Moore. His interactions with the leader of the circus had been far from pleasant. Then add to the fact that his fight with her was still a blur it was hard to justify calling her a friend but at the same time he wouldn't call her an enemy. Further interaction with her was yet to be determined.
"You were in the contest where we had to lift the truck back on Earth weren't you? You and that tiger guy were doing it alongside me." Kurosanai asked as he looked the man up and down. From what he felt with his meager understanding of feeling out power levels that while Kurosanai had improved drastically since being on Earth so had the flamboyant Saiyan's. It was strange how in the midst of this great universe that he would end up finding this man again and being able to escape a dilemma both men failed to anticipate would happen.
"My name is Kurosanai Muzai. Prodigy of the Muzai yada yada yad. I have never been one for titles but rather I respect those that have defined themselves through action rather than receiving titles for no reason at all." Kurosanai said as he rubbed the back of his head as he rambled on. Kurosanai spoke his mind though he was never a fan of having titles given out. Even when it came to himself, it only seemed to add pressure to the young man. Unwanted attention by any means. Perhaps the man understood where Kurosanai was coming from or he could have completely disagreed. In either case that stood as fact for the prodigy of the Muzai.

"Yeah, but then again, what happens if you encounter people you can't escape from?" he pointed out. Not that he was trying to scold him or anything, just pointing it out. These guys had been weak sure, but if something like that happened when there were like real bad guys it would be different. Hell, they might not have gotten away from really powerful people like that...oh well. These things happened and he wasn't going to dwell on it more than he already had, so he pushed those thoughts from his mind. Instead he sat down to get a bit more comfortable, gathering back as much mental strength as he could.
If anyone decided to come following them up he would need all his powers at the ready. Taking a deep breath he let everything relax, before turning to look at the other guy again. Sometimes he had to wonder a bit about his luck when it came to meeting people, it never seemed to be a normal encounter. No point worrying about it though, it was just the hectic thing that he called his life at work. Then the guy realized who he was finally, causing the Half-Saiyan to laugh.
"You just noticed that, huh? Yeah, that was me, seems like ages ago now," he knew it wasn't but it felt like such a long time ago. Then again, maybe it was just a sign that he was changing, for better or worse who knew. Shaking his head, he propped himself up by his hands, giving his attention to the kid as he introduced himself. Though he mentioned something about being a prodigy of something called Muzai, not that Conri knew what that was honestly.
"Nice to meet ya, Kurosanai. I'm Conri Lane, I don't worry about titles in general anyways. You could be king of the universe and I'd treat you just the same," he shrugged. No point in lying about it, hell, he had brokered a deal with the King of Saiyans without backing down about keeping independent. There weren't many people that would do that like it were an everyday thing, but here he was. Then again, with how the King's power had been rising he could have likely been killed at any opportunity. Such a fun life he lived.

Conri Lane, the flamboyant Saiyan from Earth that participated with Kurosanai in the strength contest on Earth. Now the only mystery to the prodigy of the Muzai from that day was the tiger man but he didn't hold out much hope that he would run into him again in this vast universe. It was being proved to the young Muzai that it seemed the people on that day were going to be more integral to his life then he originally expected. He chuckled to himself as he saw the Saiyan plop down onto the roof and he could only assume he was taking his time in recovering.
"It is good to know that others don't just value titles but evaluate those behind them," Kurosanai smiled as his eyes grew distant. He began to think back to when he was growing up. All he ever wanted to do was go outside and play with the other children. It was rather stupid thinking about it now but that was what he wanted to do. He was forced to study and train constantly as his father and Sarutobi tried to craft him into the savior that the clan had been praying for. And then even when he did play with the kids they seemed to keep him at arm's length and would give him special treatment. It was one of the most frustrating things that Kurosanai had ever had to deal with. The only person that ever seemed not to do that at great amount was Mozoku but even he did it. So to have someone say that he treated everyone equal it was a great find in Kurosanai's book.
"So tell me Conri why are you here on Omega?" Kurosanai asked as he adjusted his bandages on his hands. "I actually came here in order to compete in the tournament. I made it all the way down to the round of sixteen before being beaten by an Icejin named Frigid." He laughed as he pulled the bandages tight. "I think I gave him one hell of a match however it is hard to tell when your ribs were shattered on one entire side."
Kurosanai couldn't help but ramble on. He never seemed to find anyone to talk to on this miserable space station. Most just wanted to talk about their latest crime or bounty or how they were going to get off the rock. Frankly it was interesting for the first couple of conversations but now it was rather stale. To be able to talk with someone about the things back on Earth would be a welcome spot that he had thought he lost. "The strength contest really does feel like it was eons ago. Strange that even though it was so soon ago that we would run into each other in these slums of all places," Kurosanai smiled as he shook his head. He couldn't get out of his head how strange the fates could be sometimes and for once they were being kind to the prodigy. He laughed to himself as he laid down on the roof to enjoy the view upwards.

Remembering back to that day, it was before the shit hit the fan so to speak, and one of the good days he had. Well, until a few days ago that was anyways, things were starting to look up once more. Although, he remembered that there was still something he had to talk about with his old man. That would have to wait though since he was currently here, but still, a lot of crazy shit happened. This was at least an interesting change of pace since it was a bit more relaxed compared to the encounter with Akassa and that black clothed person.
"Nah, I never really care about titles or whatnot, I don't care about a lot of things like that really. It just doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things," he could come up with a title like 'Master of the Universe' but it wouldn't really mean much. Although that though was rather amusing, it had the potential to piss off other rulers as well. Maybe he would do that when he had the strength to back it up, it would be funny at least. Right now he would just get murdered and there was no point to that.
"Oh? I came here for the same reason, I plan to win the whole thing," he spoke with a tone of confidence. "In fact, my next match is the semi-finals, when I beat my next opponent it'll be the finals," he had no hesitation in declaring he would get to the finals. When he got there, he would unleash the full power that he had been keeping bottled away all this time. It took him a while to get everything setup for it as well, but now he had a formidable weapon to use. Although Kurosanai seemed disappointed that he stopped at the round of sixteen, "That's pretty good considering how many people didn't make it to that. I'm sure that you gave him one hell of a fight."
Now it was his turn he supposed, if he was the last of those that had been from Earth then he needed to win this even more. Not only would it show that he was the strongest out of all the people that had participated, but it would bring a victory for Earth. That would be a nice secondary victory in his mind, let the universe know that the small planet was a formidable power. "Yeah, who knew that we would be meeting up like this. I guess we are just continuing that contest on Earth here in the tournament though," he spoke thoughtfully. They had tried to see who was the strongest on Earth, and here they were doing the same thing for the Galaxy. It seemed to call to all the warriors that the time to decide who was the strongest was here.

Kurosanai thought back to the small planet halfway across the galaxy. Even though Conri was from Earth it hurt a little bit to know that he was going to be the one carrying the banner of Earth all the way to the finals opposed to Kuro himself. Add to the fact that he knew he was going to get a tongue lashing from Izanami it didn’t exactly make the prodigy feel very good about going home despite how much he missed it. But as he sat and watched Conri think as well only one thought could cross his mind. How much more powerful was he that he would make it to the finals? And how did Kurosanai compare to the Saiyan.
“Tell me Conri…” Kurosanai started but then trailed off. He wanted to come across as curious opposed to arrogant. Which was another trait that Kurosanai seemed to possess, the ability to come off completely contradictory to himself. The perfect example of this was what had happened only moments before.
“Don’t get me wrong when I say this, because I know I have a habit of doing so,” Kurosanai laughed as he looked back at the blue haired man. “Would you mind if I was able to fight you in order to see how powerful someone in the tournament finals would be? I understand if you don’t want to due to over exerting yourself and what not but I am really curious to see how far from being in the finals I was.” Kurosanai trailed off as he thought of all of the people hoping that he would bring great prestige to the Muzai and to put them back in the spotlight once again. Unfortunately he was not able to live up to the promises he had made and soon he would have to face their broken hearts. He could only hope that they would still have faith in him and that he would still be their hero.
“I want to know whether or not if the two Earthlings could have made it to the finals if I was able to give the crowd a good show or not. It would not have been very fun if you just beat the piss out of me and wiped the floor with my lifeless body.” Kurosanai said with a laugh but this time the laugh was a lot less whimsical and more along the lines of something to fill the pause and silence. The Prodigy of the Muzai now with eyes filled with conviction stared at the blue haired Saiyan and former competitor in the little circus act for the crowd. He could only hope Conri would give him the honor of trying to prove to himself that he was powerful enough.

It was a shame that this place was built within an Asteroid, it would be nice to be able to look at the stars. Plus it may have helped the residents of the Gamma Slums be less hostile if they at least had that kind of view. It was a simple thing that could give them a bit of hope, but this wasn't his world so he had no say on things. Still, tonight would have been a great night for a bit of stargazing, but his thoughts were interrupted by Kurosanai speaking up once more. The Half-Saiyan turned his head to listen to what he was going to say, somewhat curious with the way he started the conversation.
He seemed to be worrying about how Conri would react to the words, but there wasn't a whole lot that the kid could say to anger him. Sure, there were a few things, but he doubted that Kurosanai knew any of them. Still, he replied to the request with a nod, letting it be known that he wouldn't take what was said in an offensive way. When he finally did speak his request, Conri chuckled at the way he had built up to it. He didn't feel offended by the question in the slightest, he was Half-Saiyan so testing his strength against someone was understandable. Hell, even humans did it, so it wasn't an uncommon request to be made and he would gladly accept the challenge. There was just one thing that would need to be cleared up here before they could proceed.
"Well, if you want to see how you would fare against me there is one thing you should know. Right now, I'm only at about half my normal power because of these," he tugged at the weighted clothes. They were holding his power back quite a bit, so he wanted to be sure that he was honest with Kuro before they went at it. He'd rather not insult this guy if he could help it, and fighting him without being honest about his own power was an insult. "So, do you want to fight me with these on or would you prefer fighting me at my full power?" Conri wouldn't mind either way, really. He could use a bit of practice fighting with the weighted clothes, but if the kid wanted his full power then he would oblige as a sign of respect.
"It's your choice, but I figured you ought to know that," he stood there to let Kurosanai process the information. It would be fun to fight against one of the contestants from the other block as well. Let him see what kind of competition his the other side had compared to his own block. Plus it would be good for him to expand the type of opponents he fought against, the more he could learn the better off he would be.

Weighted clothing. It was a brilliant idea that for whatever reason Kurosanai never thought of using. He figured that if he started to train and use weighted clothing he would probably start seeing his returns to start to expand greatly. The only problem with this was the fact that he had absolutely no access to any form of weighted clothing. The Muzai never fully embraced the concept due to the fact that it would end up slowing down their fighters in the near term. They recognized the benefits of having the weighted clothing for training but their counter argument was that their style knew exactly how you moved to so you could better position yourself for attacks. If you were to get used to one weight and happen to slip off the weights in a fight then in theory they believed the fighter would not know how to properly move. No one had ever truly tried to prove this wrong so it was always left in place.
“Leave them on. I know the weights are designed to help you train and build up as much power as you can. If you take them off for the fight then you would be just ignoring the fact of even purchasing them.” Kurosanai said as he sized up his soon to be sparring partner. He was elated with the fact that Conri had even said yes thus far no one had truly bothered to be kind to the prodigy of the Muzai. “If the fight becomes too one sided with me whooping your ass at that point we should definitely think about taking your weighted clothing off.” Kurosanai laughed. His eyes began to burn brightly as passion for a good fight, even if he preferred not to show Izanami back on Earth, caused the young human to become giddy with excitement.
He rolled back onto his shoulders and then kipped up to his feet. Kurosanai was ready to go and didn’t want to wait much longer. The impatient young man looked around the roof tops and noticed that between the two that both Conri and Kuro was standing on there were two more in very close proximity. It gave him an idea that would probably favor the Muzai over Lane but it was his to decline.
“To make things interesting why don’t we keep the fight to only the two roofs we are standing on and the two next to these.” Kurosanai indicated with his finger. The two other roofs were directly parallel to the ones that he and Conri were standing on. “Two reasons for this really. The first being that it would simulate the tournament ring to a degree and the second being that we don’t want to drag any of our little followers into our fight.” Kuro stated with a shrug. “I would prefer not to get them hurt and to have a clean battle with you to begin with. So what do you say?”

These weighted clothes had a lot of good uses, they made him stronger, but they allowed him to conceal a lot of his strength. It was useful for those with the ability to sense his power or who had scouters. It was the ultimate means of deceiving them into thinking he was weaker, which meant a false sense of security. Of course, that was against people that started fights with him for no reason, here that wasn't much of an issue. They were allowing him to fight against this guy fairly, and that would be a nice test of his abilities. Something that he really needed to be sure that he could fight in these next upcoming battles.
"Alright, I'll keep them on me," Kurosanai seemed to understand their purpose, so it was a good means for him to train with the weights. He wanted to test just how much stronger these things could make him as a whole, what new heights could he reach? This was the perfect opportunity to see, and he would take full advantage of it, plus his opponent would be a new experience as well. It would add to his full combat experience, which would let him be better able to fight against different kinds of opponents. "Well, we'll see how thing go," he smirked, both his Saiyan and Human side seemed to be itching to test his power. They were both from Earth and had human blood, he wanted to see who between them was the better fighter. He'd likely keep his weights on the entire time, not wanting power to be the deciding factor here. Otherwise it'd be pointless for him if he wanted to understand his own strengths and weaknesses.
Pushing himself up to his feet, he turned to face Kuro already taking on his fighting stance. He would be ready from the get go, this was one of the few battles he was looking forward to being in. He'd never gotten to see his fighting style, so now it would be the perfect opportunity for that. Listening to what Kurosanai said about the setup for their fight, Conri could agree to that. No point in getting caught up in a bigger brawl and hurting people unnecessarily.
"Those rules work fine for me, it will make this more fun to have it simulate the tournament arena," it would feel more like an official match that way. They would fight within a confined area and go at each other like it was the tournament. This would definitely make this a much more interesting battle, he couldn't wait to get started. (Gonna lock my pl at 19893 unless you can remember what it was when the thread started xD)

"Those rules work fine for me, it will make this more fun to have it simulate the tournament arena," Conri stated with a smile. Kurosanai was ready for this little fight. No more waiting. His eyes burning with passion he took one final breath and closed his eyes. He could feel his heart beating hard in his chest but with a bit of focus his heart beat began to slow. Adrenaline was not oing to do him any good in his fight. It never complemented his fighting style and it certainly wouldn’t now.
Sinking into a fighting stance his arms tightened as he hands extended in front of him. “I won’t hold back so be ready,” Kurosanai stated as his eyes snapped open. Emanating from his pupils were blue prongs that formed a twister pattern. It was his Aoiro and this was probably the first time that Conri would see this up close. Hopefully that flamboyant saiyan would appreciate the power that was before him. “Talking time is over. Let’s have some fun.” Kurosanai smiled.
With a quick twitch of his foot Kurosanai sprung forward. One thing that Kuro had always been proud of was his agility and speed especially when it came to launching attacks. He had developed a darting style where he would get in his opponents guard, throw several attacks, and then dart back ready to launch counter strikes as they went. The prodigy of the Muzai closed the small distance in between the two of them in a split second before beginning his assault.
He would first come shooting upward with an uppercut hopefully catching him under the jaw and causing him to stumble backwards. After that he would press the attack with a barrage of light punches to the abdomen and the head. The prodigy of the Muzai knew he could not afford to push his luck and would quickly dart back to several feet for a counter attack. It was time to see if the other contestant from Earth was truly magnificent and worthy of holding the title of champion. Kuro was holding out hope that he proved to be a worthy opponent and not someone who had gotten lucky and had advanced because of weak opponents.
