It was his final delivery before he began his mission into the unknown. Tomorrow would be a challenge but, then again, so will today as the young William received his first Delivery to the Icejin’s realm; Beta Minor. One might find it strange for him to move throughout the Omega Collective the amount he has without ever stepping foot on the Planet Trade Organization’s home turf. This was partially by design.
“Move along runt!”
Hollered an Icejin, currently in his brute form, as he marched through the streets beaming with arrogance. William quickly sidestepped before the giant bitch slapped him into the Gamma Slums. Due to the Beta Minor being under a stricter rule, one was not likely to Deliver there. This was the obvious reason. Beyond that, Willie still had zero interest in Beta Minor, or its population, proven by the fact that this was his first time visiting.
It seemed the boy had more reasons to stay away from both Icejins and Beta Minor with each breath. They are a maniacal race of megalomaniacs bent on conquering the universe out of the sheer need to pamper their otherworldly egos. Over the ages they laid waste to civilization after civilization, all so they could sell the empty planet to the highest bidder. Not to mention that the most famous of their race, the tyrannical ‘Lord’ Freiza and his father King Kold, attempted to destroy William’s home; Earth.
“Come on, where’s Cooler St… Next to Kuriza Ave…? Urgh.”
The boy murmured to himself in frustration. He had always had a good sense of direction and often acclimated to new places very quickly. So now he felt like he was back on Alpha Prime years ago. A haunting ache in the pit of his stomach at every turn, as he never knew what dangers lay around the corner. It was true that Beta Minor was ‘safer’ than the rest of the Collective, but this was for more true for Icejin than any other race. When it came to your word against theirs, you lose every time.
“Hahaha! This puny thing is the target!? HAHAHA!”
William heard the statement just before he felt a right hand cross his cheek. He caught a glimpse of the creature just before entering a nearby building face first. It was an Icejin, of course. No doubt hired out by a rival group to pilfer the parcel Willie was charged with Delivering. The ache in his stomach turned into a writhing agony as he made eye contact to the first form Icejin leisurely strolling over to the boy in the most menacing fashion. Breaking free of debris, William assumed a fighting stance taught to him by Vespasian.
“One day! ONE DAY without being attacked! Is that too much to ask for!?”
The anxiety twisted to anger as everything he believed of Icejin proved true within moments of entering their domain. Using a scouter, the creature tracked his gradually rising power. Watching its rise he paused before nodding. A moment later a three toed foot crashed down upon William’s head, burying him in the concrete beneath.
“Yes, it is.”
Said the second as he leapt to his partner’s side; the two then began to surround the boy as he struggled to break free from his impromptu prison. He prayed for help, as his odds began to dwindle; but he knew none would come.
Icejin did not help anyone but themselves.

William's belief would be proven wrong as a torrent of roaring flame struck from the heavens onto the largest Icejin, scorching his back and eliciting a cry of pain from him. His partner was swiftly dealt a kick to the face that shattered his scouter and sent him flying back. A second later, Glace appeared over William, shooting a quick concerned glance at his crumpled form before the yell from the thug she'd attacked alerted her to the incoming danger. She ducked beneath his blow and threw herself backwards at him. The larger Icejin let out a grunt as Glace smashed into him and pain flared up in his chest. Glace twisted around and threw an uppercut at his chin that sent him reeling.
Glace drew back her fist for a counterattack, but was interrupted by the second assailant's three-toed foot smashing into her spine and launching her towards the other thug, sending them both into the wall. His attack had actually resulted in greater damage to his partner, which Glace took advantage of by quickly pulling away from the dazed Icer and springing at the other just as he was preparing a ki attack. Glace's hand shot out and an invisible force pulled his horn's downward, interrupting his concentration enough to cause the attack to fizzle out. In return for the earlier kick to the back, she had taken, Glace's foot struck him square in the face, sending the Icer to the ground. She didn't remove her foot, however, and drove it further downwards, with the thug's head being pushed into the earth.
Seeing that things had calmed down a bit, she took this opportunity to speak. "Now I don't know why you boys were attacking that guy, but I think we can all agree that being beaten by a girl is humiliating." Glace slowly removed her foot from the Icejin's head, and looked over to the other one. He was just getting out of the wall, but was glaring daggers at her. Good. That meant that he wasn't attacking her right then. "Both of you are going to leave, now. And don't even think about transforming." She smirked in anticipation of what she'd say next. "This isn't even my final form. And considering how bad I'm beating you now, well..." She left the statement hanging, trusting the two criminals to be able to figure out what she meant.
With a lot of grumbling, swears and muttered threats, the two got up and left, flying away to wherever they'd been sent from. She let out a sigh and transformed back down to her first form. Her transformation didn't add much to her physique, so those two hadn't noticed that she'd already transformed. It had been a bit of a gamble claiming that she was only in her first form, but it had paid off. 'Please don't let them be working for some mob boss' She prayed before walking to the one she'd seen attacked. She bent over him with a concerned expression on her face. "Hey, are you okay? You took quite a beating from those two."

Just when all seemed lost a whirlwind of fire and fury tore through the Icejin assailants, giving William the time he needed to break free of the stone. In the short time it took him do so, the newcomer scorched the larger of the two before kicking the other in the face; crushing the lens of the scouter and knocking the remnants clean from his face.
As he pulled himself free, she appeared over him for a moment before ducking a blow and knocking away the would be attacker with a well-placed uppercut. While Willie stood, the second Icejin drove a foot into his savior’s back, thrusting her into the other. Smartly, he remarked, she used this as an advantage as she cushioned her trip through a wall by using the smaller assailant’s body.
In a flash she was back the first, using what William could only guess was telekinesis to disarm him before returning the favor with a kick to the face. Driving him into the ground face first with the foot, she continued to push into the concrete as she finally spoke.
"Now I don't know why you boys were attacking that guy, but I think we can all agree that being beaten by a girl is humiliating."
Stepping away from both of the Icejin thiefs, the warrior was revealed to William to actually be a member of the same race. In all the chaos he had not gotten a good look of her and needless to say was quite surprise to find an Icejin coming to his rescue. Her face, neck, hands, abdomen and feet were a powder blue; the armored hide covering her head, forearms, shoulders, chest and shins a plain white with circular plating of the deepest blues. Light purple skin sectioned by horizontal lines, graced her biceps, tail, thighs and lined the sides of her delicate face. Black horns jutted up from either side of her skull, matching her pointed nails. Though Willie had never previously found Icejin women attractive, he had to admit there was a certain regal elegance to her.
"Both of you are going to leave, now. And don't even think about transforming. This isn't even my final form. And considering how bad I'm beating you now, well...”
Cursing under their breath, the duo seemed to give up on the attempt to disrupt Willie’s Delivery, perhaps accepting her bluff as truth. Though even William did not know better; the thought of this impressive specimen having an even stronger form made him uneasy, despite having being saved by her moments before. The female Icejin, whose strength and appearance dazzled, approached the boy upon the assailants’ departure.
"Hey, are you okay? You took quite a beating from those two."
Dusting himself off, William dipped a hand into his coat pocket, emitting a sigh of relief upon finding the package safe and sound. The boy was still a bit wary of the newcomer, still not entirely trusting of the creatures to blame for countless global extinctions. However, he was never the rude type, and was truly thankful for her adept aid.
“Yes, I am fine. I am quite resilient, though not as much so as you, naturally.”
He said with a kind smile, referring to the Icejin’s notoriously thick hide with armor like properties. There was a fire in her crimson pupils which drew his ire; an intensity which he could not help but admire.
“They caught me by surprise, and these damned weights are a real hindrance at times like these.”
Lifting his arms he displayed the gladiator styled bracers which, along with the matching greaves, made up the heavily weighted accessories gifted to him by his new Master, gladiator champion Vespasian. For a moment he thought of removing them, but his Master’s words on the subject haunted him; “Take them off and I’ll pulverize you.” It was simple enough, and so Willie let go of the thought.
“Listen to me blather on; thank you so much for your help. My name is William Watson Jr.”
The apparent human stated as he held out a hand to her. It was a simple gesture which Watson offered out of politeness, despite a slight hesitation; he had never touched an Icejin before. Surely nothing crazy would come from a hand shake, but Willie was still uneasy around the armor clad race of conquerors; even the beautiful heroic ones.

So the delivery boy was a fighter as well? Those were not careers that usually teamed up. She smiled at his compliment, feeling safer in her decision to intervene. No one who was evil could maintain such a facade after taking a beating like that, right?
Glace stared at William's outstretched hand, unsure of how to react. She didn't have any issues with touching people, but William wasn't an Icejin. Aliens had come and gone on her home world, but she hadn't really interacted with them. Glace either kept her distance or went with her old gang to give them a 'welcoming party' There weren't many in Beta Minor either, but she had just saved him from getting his insides rearranged. Did any social rules say she had to?
Glace's now awkward smile quickly hid itself as she bowed slightly before William. A show of respect that didn't require any new customs to be learned, a definite win. If William was skilled at reading Icejin facial features, he would see her embarrassment. Refusing his greeting and bowing instead would come across as weird, she knew it, and he no doubt did as well. The best thing to do would be to move on from that as fast as possible. "So, what are you doing in Beta Minor? This place isn't the best for tourists." In truth Glace didn't actually know how things were in regards to non-Icejin tourism, but from the reception William had received, she doubted he'd be in any mood to disagree.

(Severely apologize for the wait, I just started back with school along with my full time job :/ I will try and be more consistent)
Given the look on her face, and her own hesitation, it appeared as if the female Icejin was as xenophobic as William was at times. Then she inexplicably bowed; a familiar enough greetings in most parts of the galaxy, though not often in response to an outstretched hand. As she came back her face betrayed her embarrassment; something Willie could not help but by find endearing.
"So, what are you doing in Beta Minor? This place isn't the best for tourists."
She quickly rushed into further conversation, an attempt to move away from their perplexing pairing of greetings moments ago no doubt. Her awkwardness reminded him of his own bumbling when face to face with woman. When he first met Azazel he could barely talk and Adrien, well he was putty in her hands. He could not understand why he did not act the same around her. William just felt comfortable around her, even though he had never felt even remotely at ease around any other Icejin before in his life.
With an inviting smile he pulled back his hand and held them both behind his back, a common manner in which he stood at times. Then, mirroring her, he bowed slightly at the waist. Not wanting to embarrass her further, despite the fact that he found the look adorable on her, he stood up once more and continued the conversation.
“I can see why not.”
He replied with a warm laugh to her ‘tourist’ comment as he nodded his head to the building which had been damage during the brief scuffle. Though it was against policy for a Deliverer to divulge his true objective, as it could lead to the package being stolen from them, he decided she was more than trustworthy. Not only had she saved him, but her attitude implied that she would do him no wrong.
“And as for being on Beta Minor, I am a Deliverer, trying to find the drop off point for this package.”
He stated as he patted his jacket pocket, where the little box resided. As a Deliverer, he received a parcel from an anonymous source, accompanied with only the address for the location of Delivery. Upon depositing the box, usually in some secret means, he would receive his payment; untraceable gold coins. It was the most effective system for the gangs of the Collective to keep precious items and information from each other; give them to a nobody. Of course, to not Deliver the package meant death.
The apparent human wondered if she knew of the Delivery System, or would think him a simple messenger. It mattered not, for he would be happy to clarify more if she was left confused by his words. However, something else pressed him mind, and forced to speak on.
“By the way, it’s a pleasure to meet you. What is your name, if you don't mind me asking?”
Willie had given her his name, but she had not reciprocated. He did not want to appear pushy, by any stretch of the imagination, but he had to know; so he could put a name to the graceful visage before him.

"Oh, sorry. I always forget about that." Glace said with an awkward smile as she ran a hand along the back of her head. William was turning out to be quite a polite person, he hadn't said anything about her refusal to shake his hand. Thank goodness! She wasn't sure she could have handled it.
"My name is Glace. It might not look like it, but I'm also new here." Her hand had moved to her hip, supporting her as she spoke. "I moved here a few days ago, so I'm afraid I can't help you find whatever you're looking for."
[Sorry for the crap post, I've also been buried in work]

"Oh, sorry. I always forget about that.”
She apologized with an endearing smile as she ran her hand down the back of her sleek, pore less, armor thick skin. It was weird, as William found himself unable to miss even her subtlest move. He had never found Icejin women, what few he had met or seen, attractive. Then again, one had never saved him. And he had never expected one to act so… Non genocidal megalomaniacish.
"My name is Glace. It might not look like it, but I'm also new here."
It took a moment to realize he was watching her hand lightly grasp her hip as she spoke. He was quick to refocus himself on her face, not wanting her to think he was one of those guys.
"I moved here a few days ago, so I'm afraid I can't help you find whatever you're looking for."
The last sentence surprised him a little because he had assumed that all of the small Icejin species presided on Beta Minor. Went to show how truly little he knew of them and how wrong his predilections were.
“Glace, what a lovely name. No worries, despite my terrible sense of direction and remarkable ability to get lost, I am sure I will find the drop off point. I always do, somehow ha ha.”
No sooner had the laugh left his lips did a gargantuan creature burst through the building behind him. The structure he had used to conceal his arrival exploded into debris as an Icejin in brute form, which looked eerily similar to one of the two whom Glace had saved him from before. Speaking of two, another brute slammed into Glace just as the first appeared from behind in destructive fashion.
“We’re not done with you insect[/b]!”
With pieces of the building still falling from his massive frame, the beastly Icejin grabbed Willie up into a bear hug. Like an anaconda strangling its kill, the eight foot monster tightened its hold, squeezing the life out of the poor boy. Despite his predicament, William looked for Glace but could not find her with the limited field of view allowed by the hulking behemoth grappling him to death. His vision becoming darker and darker did not help the search either.
Resolute to free himself and repay the debt owed to Glace by in turn rescuing her, the apparent human focused energy into his hands; even as his body began to collapse into itself. Rings of red ki formed in his grasps which he quickly released. Following his mental command one fell but stopped after a foot and turned parallel to his hand while the other rose and turned so that the distortion in its center faced the ugly mug of the monstrous assailant.
“How’s this for an insect!”
He squeaked as he was buried within the hulking frame of his attacker as said attacker desperately tried to squeeze the life out of him and the death into him. Firing a weak, given his state, Vanishing Beam out into the center of the lower chakram, it next appeared out of the upper one and right into the beast’s eye.
“AARG!”
The Icejin roared as he stumbled back into the storefront he original exploded out from. In comical fashion, Watson’s body ‘popped’ back to regular, non-crushed, form. Spinning around he tried to take advantage, firing crimson beam one right after another from interchanging hands. He even had one chakram circling above so he could fire a Vanishing Beam into the one at his side and have it emerge as an aerial strike.
After many shots he stopped as he heaved. He had expended quite a bit of energy in a short time in hopes of ending this fight before it really began, so he could move on to help Glace. He was sad then when he saw the brute stomp out of the rubble of the crater where the building once stood. His hide showed signs of damage, and the one eye was swollen shut and bleeding, but it did not help how William felt. The terrifying evil grin that every Icejin was born with played across his lips and Willie swore he felt his stomach flip.
“Bet you thought it was over huh? Oh but it has only just begun HAHAHAHA!”
