Model Zero stood in the center of the white room known as the gravity chamber. By now he had become so accustomed to it, it felt like a second home. He pressed his hand over his chest, feeling a slight warmth. Ivan had another busy night. He was contemplating over the images he saw. Was I... dreaming? he mused, but that man's face kept haunting him to this day. Zero thought the images of that man had started to subside as his daily life became busier and busier, test after test, he was starting to spend less and less time inside the holding chamber; another dull room where his eyes would wander aimlessly along a blank wall, while a camera was fastened over him. From time to time he would contemplate why they always seemed to keep a close eye on him. Wherever he went, the first thing he noticed were the cameras, and he realized they were watching him. But then he would wrench the thought away, concluding that it was not his place to question to temple of his God.
And then it was the fleeting silhouette of that man that kept most of his thoughts and entertained him during those long numbing hours of absentmindedness. It was like something -or someone, was constantly trying to reach him day after day, but their attempts were thwarted by the noise of everyday activities and the notion of life. In those rare nights, when he was briefly deactivated for maintainenance and upgrades, the entity which called out to him from the deepest abyss of his mind seemed to grow louder. Stronger. But even then, it was like a scattered dream that's like a far off memory; a murmur from a whisper that got lost in the wind and sent a bottled letter drifting in the ocean, hoping it reached its destination. Man closed his eyes and focused on his voice. He tried to reconstruct the message, but it was more likely that he'd fry his processor in its stead.
"Hey, Ivan," the doctor called to his colleague as he observed Zero through the monitor. The scientist walked up to him upon being called and followed his gaze. "You ever wonder what he thinks about, when he's alone like that?" Ivan shrugged his shoulders in response. "He's an android, what could he possibly think about but the little things he's seen? Maybe he's thinking about Lord Zex, King Arctic, Conri Lane, or even us!" He noticed the doctor becoming nervous. It was a habit of his to wag his reptilian tail whenever he was aroused. "Don't worry about it, doctor. He thinks he makes his own conclusions, but in reality, he can't conclude anything he has not already heard. Machines can't create data out of thin air, someone has to provide it for them, and they store it. The same goes for thoughts, for they are nothing but data to him." Ivan assured. "I guess you're right..." the doctor said.
"Zero!" the voice boomed into the hollow chamber and Man was removed from his transient state. He peered above towards the roof, letting his masters know he was listening. "Your training session is about to begin. You will be testing out a new weapon installed onto your chest. Gravity will be increased to twenty-five times its normal intensity." Man reaches for his chest once again. He knew he felt something strange. However, his arm dropped beside him as the imposing force dawned upon him. It was strange. It seemed like it was just the other day that he met with this mysterious force. He remembered comparing it to a thousand robotic arms reaching from the ground and dragging him below. It was so mystifying and bizarre he couldn't wrap his mind around it. But now it was as normal as the setting sun. He couldn't imagine a day without it; walking outside in the unconstrained atmosphere of Alpha Prime was so weird because he felt so free and vibrant. He almost wanted to run back inside and lock the door.
The trap door opened from the homogenous walls and out came that strange machine in rollerblades. Zero, who had been completely expressionless, became stern and slightly angered at its presence. He could never forget the tireless hours he endured at trying to catch that putrid Road Runner, and at every failed attempt it laughed and mocked him from afar. Model Zero paid no tribute to patience and fired away with the energy cannon installed at his wrist, the instant it walked out. It moved, in a flash as usual, and Zero followed pursuit. His eyes were altered, slanted and determined to dole out its rightful morsel of bread. But just like before, everytime he got within fighting distance, his blade met air. "Woah!" the doctor exclaimed. "He isn't playing! He went right into the action!" Ivan nodded and grinned, "I told you. Sometimes, emotions fuel you and cause you to perform better than before." The doctor gazed at his colleague, "but then, doesn't that make Model Zero less predictable?" Ivan was silent. It was true, allowing the android to dwell on its anger was contradicting to their initial vision of a mindless drone. "As long as he follows our orders, it does not matter what Zero does," he concluded. "If our visions don't evolve in time, then how can we expect the world to do the same?" The doctor was astonished by his associate's words. "Well said. Sometimes you amaze me, Ivan."
His feet dragged against the ground before he could finally make that sharp turn. If only he could remove the heavy weights, the chains that confined him, he would be able to go the extra distance and snap its tiny feet. It was evident that he was not meant to catch the aggravating machine, for every time they met, the gravity was increased five times more than the last. While Zero's speed was gravely hindered still, his target's increased in comparison by a milestone. Concluding this, he was not going to be so foolish as to chase him around like before. He'd only fall into its game. Ivan would think he lost all reasoning and end their meeting where it stood. Instead, he remembered what today's session was all about and focused his attention towards his chest. The red jacket opened up and revealed two blasters. They glittered as they started up. An uprising sound echoed throughout the room. Man braced himself and witnessed as dozens of energy blasts spread wide in front of him, shooting out of his chest one after the other in an erratic mess, like a machine gun. It would be very difficult for someone to dodge or block such a rapid fire attack, but apparently it was child's game to the road runner as it dashed to the other end of the room -behind Zero.
The android furrowed his eyebrows and turned on the spot while he continued to shoot out bolts of ki from his chassis. Soon the entire room was filled with systematic explosions going off one by one around him. But he kept seeing the silhouette of his enemy running at the peripherals of his vision, taking advantage of the gaps which formed as Man pivot around his heels. If he spinned faster, than it ran faster, it was a never ending race and his enemy always seemed to be one step ahead. Model Zero receded from the senseless onslaught. For a moment, Ivan had thought he'd given up. He was just about to speak through the microphone before the image of Zero vanished with a gust of wind at his wake. The android ran up the slope of the domed walls of the gravity chamber and unleashed his wrath upon the ground from above, this time taking everything from below. The force of every ball of energy pulsating out of his core was enough to keep him aflight without falling to the ground. It was almost like hovering. There was no escaping his attack, not this time.
Suddenly, he heard something behind him and his mechanical heart skipped a beat. Road Runner ran up the walls just as he had and took cover behind him. However, the charade was short lived as it seemed to have forgotten that once it would stop running, gravity would take its toll and bring it back down into the blast radius. That was the end of Road Runner. Model Zero stopped the ongoing attack and landed in the center of the room. "Hmm, he's starting to look more threatening," the doctor commented. Ivan nodded. "Yes, he only had a small pistol and his sword, now he has a cannon and a machine gun. Zero is starting to look the part as a machine for destruction." The two scientists laughed. The machine which ridiculed Zero was now unrecognizable. "Very good Zero, that is all for today," Ivan voiced through the speaker. Man's eyes didn't move from the piece of scrap smoked in steam. Part of him thought it would get back up and start running again. Lights out.

A machine gun installed into Zero's chest that shoots innumerable balls of KI. It is fairly powerful, especially if the defender is caught off guard, as many beams can be fired home, and the ones that hit have more power than the last. It is good as a distraction tactic too, firing a few of them before charging up a really big attack to finish it off.
