Banduk was a cautious man, but also a reasonable one. He stared at the man, Sebastian, as it was revealed that the blonde-haired newcomer was apparently friendly. The Namekian remained still as he listened to Sebastian's concerns, which were concluded with an offer for the group to join him in the bubble of safety. Gundu managed to relax a little, but waited to hear input from his companions as he glanced over. Frigid spoke up, asking what the gang had to lose. Banduk raised a brow, extending his telepathic thought to the Icejin. "Besides our lives, not much." he answered mentally, so that only Frigid would hear it. While Frigid had likely not been exposed to telepathy before, it was already established within the team that Banduk was capable using it, so the sudden feeling of having Banduk's words ring inside the Ijejin's head wouldn't come as much of a surprise.
Frigid entered the barrier, leaving only Man to give his two cents on the issue at hand. The android made an excellent point by gesturing toward a nearby victim of the land's merciless heat, implying that if Sebastian simply wanted to kill the group, he could have simply waited. "Right." Banduk replied to the android, also using telepathy for the artificial life form. The Namakian wasn't quite sure if the mechanical Man's mind would be able to pick up the signal, but he supposed it would make sense if Man had at least some biological material inside his head. He really didn't know what to think about it, but at least he accompanied his mental message with a nod.
Banduk stepped into the barrier behind Zero, still maintaining a look that was cautious, though quite relieved. He was unable to hide how good the lowered temperature felt compared to the dry heat outside. Banduk would be sure to ask for some water soon enough. "Banduk, of Namek." he answered, refraining from giving his full title this time around. "We were the only ones aboard our ship." Banduk confirmed, letting Sebastian know that there were no more people to worry about from Team B. Of course, Team A was still out there, but Banduk would take things one step at a time with this guy.

All three seemed hesitant to cross into the protection of the bubble, each one looking to the rest of his group before taking that first cautious step past the shimmering layer of Ki. Ultimately their decisions were probably made for them with the temperature of the surface rising so rapidly; it seemed they preferred to trust Sebastian over experiencing a slow death…wonderful. Each one entering the protection of his barrier announced his name, or at the very least what they wished to be called, the Namekien putting Sebastian at ease with the revelation that none had died during their vessels crash out in the wastelands. Taking a step forward, away from his weapon that was still stuck into the ground, the human lets his hands drop loosely to his sides to continue his non threatening appearance.
”Well met Frigid, Zero and Banduk of Namek. I am relieved to hear that there were no casualties when your ship crashed, as unfortunate as that was, I am sure you can agree the preservation of your lives is worth far more than any vessel.” Smiling Sebastian continues to make his way closer, stopping several feet from the forward most of them. A gentle soul and not one to pry on a personal level the blonde worshiper knew he had a responsibility to ask why they had come to Belegost. One possibility was that they had being passing by when their ship experienced some sort of mechanical failure upon traveling to close to the planet, the orbs magnetic field known to cause havoc on ships not equipped to handle such a thing. The second possibility was that they had come with the other ship which had arrived around the same time as theirs, a much more likely scenario in his mind.
”Now that I know you are all safe and sound let me be the first to welcome you to Belegost. It may not seem to be such a nice place on the surface, but I can assure down below this wasteland there are much more hospitable conditions to be had. What brings you three so far out of the way of normal travel routes?” The people of Belegost were well aware of the major inhabited areas throughout the galaxy, including The Omega Collective, but the Church had chosen to remain off the radar. Some trading was done with them, but through multiple channels so that the location of their worlds could be kept secret. It was not out of malicious intentions, but simply for the safety of its people. Countless wars had been waged amongst planets like Earth and the people of Belegost wanted nothing to do with them.
Standing calmly, eyes darting back and forth between the three companions Sebastian’s smile continues to greet them all. Even with the bubble now around them all wind blew about them, the occasionally powerful gust whipping the human’s large white coat around. His technique was designed to regulate temperature and that was it. That was the reason they had simply been able to walk through it and the wind blew through it with ease. Much closer to them now he did hoped they relaxed a bit; there was no danger to be found here, at least not in the form of Sebastian De’Vont.

"What brings you three so far out of the way of normal travel routes?"
The question made Frigid turn his head to his friends. They hadn't had a chance to discuss exactly what information to share with others. Exactly how much was safe to tell this man? Well, so far the truth seemed to be the best answer, "We were sent here to search for a ship that may have crashed on this planet a while back. All communications went dark, so we're not even sure these men are alive..."
It was up to the others to add anything they wanted to Frigid's reply. In his mind, this was all the information the man needed. Conri's group was something Frigid hoped to keep to himself, having even then slightest advantage over this stranger in case something went wrong.

The dry wind blew through the barrier and cast Man's golden hair fluttering beside him. His eyes wandered and set on the rocky cove nearby as Frigid explained their situation to the ostensibly kind stranger. He figured it must have been the entrance to the underground. All sorts of questions spurred in the android's mind, but the icejin had the right idea. As curious as they may be, their mission was not finding out about the apparent Belegost, it was to find the crew who lost contact with Lord Zex. However, as things stand, it seemed like they were stranded themselves. Zero didn't know what he was expecting, but the more he thought about it, the more it felt like something terribly bad was going to occur. His mind started assembling all the pieces together on his own, as was his nature. The human's words played back to him like a recording; "I was sent out to rescue you and your crew after our radar indicated your ship had crashed." "I can assure down below this wasteland there are much more hospitable conditions to be had." "What brings you three so far out of the way of normal travel routes?”
Evidently, civilization thrived in the underground and they were quite intelligent as-well. That claim was proven by Sebastian's delicately crafted sword and the very garments covering his body. Animals without the ability to reason could not possibly survive in a planet like Belegost with the rising temperatures. The first clue was staring them straight in the face. His presence in this exact spot; he disclosed that they detected their arrival through a radar, and then proceeded to asking what brought them out of "normal travel routes". The civilization Sebastian spoke of was one of high technological competence, perhaps just as advanced as Alpha Prime -or better-. Knowing this, it was hard to believe they did not have the technology to travel space. It was foolish to believe it. Therefore, why hasn't the crew been able to return to Alpha Prime...?
The thoughts raced through his head as he studied the human carefully. Perhaps the crew was never found and perished in the desolated land above the planet's surface. On the other hand, if they were found, there is no reason why they could not have been sent back on their way unless the underground was so amazing they decided to live there, if not, the other outcome he thought of was... Zero's eyes narrowed with scrutiny.

As Frigid spoke, Banduk was as cautious as Man, though perhaps not quite as suspicious. The Namekian's intent at the moment was gathering more information about this world - and its people - in hopes of determining their trustworthiness. This Sebastian seemed peaceful enough in appearance, but someone who was able to craft his words so finely would no doubt be just as able to craft lies.
"My friend speaks the truth." Banduk said in response to Frigid's words. "Any information regarding past incidents similar to ours would be greatly appreciated." the Warrior from Namek then said, hoping to move things along in their favor. While he was curious about what the people of Belegost were like, he wanted to stay focused on the objective. He then waited for Sebastian's response, eager to find out how helpful the man would be.

Their request for information on a missing ship had the blonde puzzled, his right hand reaching up to scratch at the side of his head. With a gust rolling past them the man’s short hair rustles in the wind as he scratches his head. Sebastian had not heard of other ships before the two that had arrived today, at least not scheduled ones. Still he did not believe them to be liars, and all of them seemed quite serious about locating these missing individuals. Taking another moment to try and recall anything that might have slipped his mind the human slowly frowns.
”Ummmm…I have heard of nothing in the past several weeks. We have radars set up all over the surface of the planet since we are not able to have many manned outposts….I am sure we would have noticed another ship crashing, you can see how fast I was able to locate your guys. The hand that had been scratching his hear drops down to his chin, rubbing at it some as if he possessed a beard. After another short moment of silence the blondes’ eyes light up. ”No one has crashed here, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t land on Mement Mor, that’s the Belegost’s sister planet. I might be able to get you in contact with someone over there, or take you to your friends at the very least.”[/b]
Nodding as he speaks, almost as if agreeing with himself Sebastian smiles back at them. He wasn’t sure if that was the sort of answer they were looking for, but it was the only one he would be able to provide. The Church kept solid records of everything, as well as every ship that arrived and every ship that was apprehended. Sebastian himself had no idea what circumstances these individuals they were seeking might have arrived under, but he was relatively confident someone had to know. Then again…the poor folk could have met some unfortunate end near the planet; space wasn’t exactly a friendly place.

Though the man told them that there had been no crashes for a long while, that did not trump the chances of finding the crew. It seemed that this planet, and one more that Frigid could not see, shared this part of the galaxy. The ideal that Zex's people might have landed on the other one was not farfetched. But he thought of it made Frigid a little nervous, Sebastian offering them to enter the cave behind him.
Nodding, Frigid thanked the human for the information, "We were unaware of a sister planet," he told him, speaking for the others as well. "I would be in your debt for your help." Making his decision, he would take a step forward, then turn to see what the others would do.
Though confident both would step forward, Frigid was still aware of how little he knew about Man. Perhaps this android had other ideas, and as calculating as he seemed, it would not have surprised Frigid if he had had other plans. Frigid felt that Banduk, on the other hand, would see things his way; without this human, none of them stood much chance here.

Model Zero would follow Sebastian along with his teammates, giving no mind to his suspicions for the moment; the mention of a sister planet made sense and fit perfectly with the circumstances. It explained why they had not heard or seen anything related to the lost crew. The human admitted that people usually didn't pass by Belegost, and knowing whether a ship approached was as easy as a glimpse on a radar. Given that Banduk was as thrilled as Frigid in regards to this new planet, Man followed the group from behind with his eyes wandering and examining their surroundings. If one squinted and focused, one could see a small streak of red flashing through the android's right eye -just below his pupils. His built-in scouter calculated and detected anything on the planet, picking up a surprising number of residents. The information was good to know just how active Belegost was, but his intentions were to find the other group that came with them; Conri Lane, Mr. William, and Kurosanai. It didn't take long before he had pin-pointed their location. All he had to do was fine-tune and narrow his search with higher standards to eliminate the lower-powered beings from his scope. Then, he noticed something odd. In the corner of his eyes, there were only two detected power-levels near him: Frigid and Banduk. Sebastian's power-level was amiss.
He glanced at the human from behind, "this sister planet of yours, Memento Mor, is it anything like this one?" he asked. Surely, Sebastian would understand his concern. The existence of another nearby planet brought a sense of hope to the group, but if it were just another rock in space, the chances of finding them alive and well were slim.

Sebastian smiles at the Icejin’s words, pleased to be of any service to these unfortunate space travelers. ”Please come with me then. With Frigid’s first step and the other two soon following the human turns to lead them back into the cave he have himself exited some short time ago. Pausing near his sword, the blade still anchored in the ground, his right hand would grab the hilt and yank it free of the rock with relative ease. To those watching how effortlessly he withdrew it from the solid stone it had been driven into it might award them a small glimpse at his strength, but the man’s true power was still a mystery. As soon as the weapon was out of the ground the energy that had been spiking up from its hilt ceases, the barrier blinking out of existence. Immediately the four would be introduced to the harsh environment of the surface, the temperature having already increased in the few minutes the trio had stepped into the temporary safe haven. In mere moments they would be back under shelter, the dense stone of the cave walls doing well to block out the heat from the Sun’s rays. ”Oh no, Mement Mor is quite the opposite of Belegost. Unlike this rocky world it has vast seas and rolling green hills, although you won’t find many people in them. Most live within the cities, yah know where all the excitement and entertainment tends to be. If the people you seek did land on the planet, I am sure they would have been drawn to one of them.” Upon entering the cave it would quickly become obvious that its vastness was only skin deep, the opening quickly narrowing back into a tunnel of about 20 feet in diameter. The tunnels itself seem to be natural, although widened through artificial means. If there were no objections to traveling father underground, and the group was to begin moving deeper the pattern would continue, mostly smooth walls minus ridges here and there from the stone having been chiseled away, with various stalactites and stalagmites. (OOC: This is what the tunnels look like for the most part.)

"Please, come with me then."
With that Frigid nodded, and stepped forward, ready to follow as the man withdrew his sword from the stone. Frigid took notice at the sight, seeing him remove it with ease. Obviously this man had some kind of power, but what kind was still a mystery. As soon as the sword moved the protective bubble went with it, vanishing as if never there. The heat was quick to nip at the Icejin's thick hide, and though he noticed the rise in temperature, it would not bother him very much. He was built for these situations.
As the group progressed into the tunnel it began to narrow, until only a round hallway remained. Progressing through the cave, the Icejin would see that this was no single tunnel. This was a catacomb of interlocking cave systems. The filed down and removed stalactites and stalagmites proved this was a well maintained system, but it also gave away notes of appearing natural. Though the integrity of the caves remained to be seen, the way Sebastian made his way though them calmed Frigid's nerves a little.
”Oh no, Mement Mor is quite the opposite of Belegost. Unlike this rocky world it has vast seas and rolling green hills, although you won’t find many people in them. Most live within the cities, yah know where all the excitement and entertainment tends to be. If the people you seek did land on the planet, I am sure they would have been drawn to one of them.”
This idea puzzled the Icejin. If Mement Mor was a such a vast, alive planet, why would one choose to live there? Though the caves were neat, the Icejing couldn't see himself actually living in them, "If that's the case, why live here?" He asked, raising a brow as his voice echoed though the tunnel, "If you don't mind me asking, that is."

The android was enticed by the blond human’s eccentric ability. He paid no mind to the simple act of dislodging his embedded sword from the sweltering stone. The android did not think it was a feat worth observation. What really piqued his interest was the bulbous structure of energy. He had never witnessed a technique so passive yet so appropriate and evolved for the purpose of this setting. In all his short mechanical life, the android had fought off against countless beings capable of manipulating ki for their own volition and from time to time there would be those who stand out, using exceptionally skilled abilities one wouldn't have thought was possible.
With that said, they were all used generically; although they were different in many ways, they were all the same in the destruction they caused and the devastating power behind every bolt of concentrated energy. That was why Sebastian’s technique stood out so well to the android, because it was not a mountain shattering beam of energy, it was not a barrier used to block a shattering beam of energy, it was a safe zone which blocked out the sun. Model Zero would have never had the foresight –nor would the scientists, to assume that they would have wound up in such a similar situation as this one; stranded out in a planet where life was not sustained. Yes, the possibility of ending up like the very men they were sent to rescue had crossed the android’s perceptive mind, but he could have never predicted the circumstances in which they would meet for he had never known or experienced anything like it. Alpha Prime was the only planet he was known to live in and in that planet there were no such thing as deserts or vast oceans. What’s an ocean?
Man squint his eyes. The moment Sebastian pulled his sword off the ground, the barrier vanished and the sun blurts its blinding flare on the four individuals. He wondered whether the sword was the source of the human’s power since it seemed to be the only thing which had been maintaining the safe zone. Sebastian, on the other hand, had been leisurely hanging about as they approached him. His scouter began to beep, warning him about the dangerous rising temperature. Although Zero was an android, he was not immune to temperature; he did not know it, but half of his components were organic -and even if he were completely mechanical, machines malfunctioned after overheating. Sebastian promptly led the group into the cavern by which Zero would then ask his question. It was curious to discover that Belegost had a sister planet called Memento Mor -who knows where-, Zero had glanced at the sky before entering the cave but he had not seen any celestial bodies nearby. The planet was probably too far still.
Then, as he was about to follow up with another question, Frigid beat him to it. "If that's the case, why live here?" the icejin stated, Man felt as though he had taken the words right out of his mouth. Knowing full and well, while possessing an ostensibly vast knowledge in technology, why live in Belegost? Why live in a dead planet with a messed up electromagnetic barrier, scorched deserts that spanned as far as the eyes could see, skulls of died out beings protruding from the sand dunes. Why live in a planet where they were forced to reside underground? Why, when they had a neighbor bursting with life and vitality?
One of the reasons, right off the top of his head, Zero thought that perhaps they were not welcomed in Memento Mor. Just because they were sister planets did not mean they were friendly. However, Sebastian seemed pretty confident in his ability to get the group to Memento Mor and find out whether the group they were searching for had indeed fallen into said planet. Another possibility was that they chose to live in Belegost precisely because its characteristics. The planet was so barren and desolate that nobody in their right mind would ever think of willingly going there; and if they did, then they would have to face the gravitational cluster as their ship falls uncontrollably after getting smacked by an electromagnetic wave. Belegost was the best candidate, if you’re looking to hide something –or someone.
“I was thinking the same thing,” Zero said, confirming and extending Frigid’s question. “I would also like to know how your people ended up on Belegost, considering you have Memento Mor and many other planets much more suitable for life.”

Banduk remained silently observant, complying with Frigid's choice to follow Sebastian into the cavern. He considered the group fortunate to have found someone this hospitable, even though he didn't particularly trust this man quite yet. With the barrier down, Banduk especially felt the effects of the dry heat that invaded his body. He would be sure to inquire about getting some water sooner than later. Then, he blinked, wondering if the planet even had access to a reliable source of liquid. He certainly hoped it did.
At the mention of how Memont Mor was the opposite of Belegost, which included seas, Banduk gulped. That description further hinted toward the possible nonexistence of water on this planet. He chose to keep that concern to himself for the moment, since the team's objective took priority over his own comfort. Why couldn't they have just landed on Memont Mor instead? Listening closely to the conversation, Banduk also wondered why Sebastian's people chose to remain on the barren world of Belegost.

Traveling with the trio in tow Sebastian was quite at ease. Leading them through the tunnels felt natural to him as he had spent a good part of his life on Belegost and the rest on Mement Mor. If he had to pick one as his favorite his surprising choice would be the barren wasteland of a world that they now moved through. It wasn’t as visually appealing, but there was an honest truth to the life here. He held nothing against the beautiful world that the Church labeled as their home world it was just things could become so complicated with so many members clustered into the tightly packed cities. The Cardinals got along well, but their goals, like any leading caste were not always the same. The Cardinals, a powerful group they were indeed. Many of them spent most their time on Mement Mor, only leaving on specific missions to further their faith. Are Nin had been the most recent to depart, months ago so that she could infiltrate the court of the Saiyan King. Sebastian was currently unaware of how devastating that mission was turning out to be and also unaware that he was never going to see his fellow Cardinal again. Out of all the Cardinals of the Church Sebastian was probably the farthest removed from their daily activities, his main duty to watch over Belegost and make sure production counts stayed up. The mining that went on within the planet was one of the largest sources of income they had, it fueled the more exotic lifestyles that people enjoyed on Mement Mor. ”Why do I choose to live here? Mement Mor is spectacular for sure, but Belegost feels warmer to me. Of course I am not just referencing the temperature of the surface; something about the stone makes me feel at home. I was born on Belegost as well, when I spend too much time on Mement Mor I get homesick.” Shrugging some Sebastian found it a little hard to explain, but how often was one asked to explain why they liked their home? ”As for everyone else it may sound a little harsh, but most do not have a choice. Most are employed here on Belegost and since there is no travel system between the two then they must remain here. Those that live on Mement Mor hardly travel here either, unless business is involved.”[/b] As they walked the tunnel would eventually end as it opens into a vast cavern, the blonde looking back at them. ”Are you able to fly as well Zero? We need to cross this cavern and head down another tunnel before reaching our destination.” When the three had first appeared above the Icejin had been carrying Zero so he was unsure if the one he assumed was an android could fly himself. Pending any issues he would lift off the ground and soar across the cavern with them still in tow. (OOC: The cavern you are currently standing at the edge of, one of many below the surface.)

Sebastian explained that he was born here on Belegost. It was an odd place to be born, and yet Frigid understood the feeling. He too felt at home in the Collective. Inside the Collective, Frigid was safe; he was secure. Out on a planet like this, Frigid was quite the opposite; he was vulnerable, stuck in a place he knew nothing about. However, thoughts of weaknesses and insecurities faded as Sebastian took into the air.
Frigid followed suit, and as his bare feet lifted off the ground he let out a satisfied sigh. He felt much better in the open, the narrow tunnels were too small for him, though not literally. He noted the cavern, the many stalactites and stalagmites not giving anything off about the location. It was obvious Sebastian had spent a majority of his life here as he knew where he was headed, everything looking much the same.
(Horrible. Sorry.)

Zero furrowed his eyebrows. He was unfamiliar with the term Sebastian described as "homesickness". An android could not understand the sentimental attachments people lay on objects and things. To him, it was always about logic. Why would they live on Belegost while having Mement Mor right next door? Just because he was born here, it didn't mean he must be bound to it, or so Zero thought; alas, he provided an explanation which did make sense. Jobs. Unemployment was a universal issue shared by all. People living on Belegost probably couldn't find jobs on Mement Mor and so they remain in the barren planet where they can earn a living. Fortunately, androids had no need for food and water -or sleep. Then, he presented another valid reason. Belegost did not have any traveling systems by which to migrate. Zero assumed that only the rich and corporate executives had access to space vehicles; as the human stated, people from Mement Mor only ever visited for Business purposes.
The group walked through the murky cavern, confident that Sebastian would lead them where help could be obtained. The temperature was considerably lower compared to the surface. Zero wondered what kind of business people sought in Belegost, but as he observed his surroundings, he could see just a little more. The caverns, rocks, and stalagmites were probably rich in minerals and materials vital for construction and technological development. Belegost was probably composed of mostly miners, and the people who traveled from Mement Mor to do business probably brought fleets of processed water and food. After-all, what else could they grow in a planet like this? Their footsteps echoed in the hollow cavern. Everything was so quiet and motionless, Zero could listen to the sound of their breaths. Soon after, the group reached the end of the road and the android's feet stopped firmly at the edge of a large pit. The narrow passage suddenly widened, opening to vast and vacant space. Sebastian took flight and Frigid promptly followed. The human asked whether Zero could fly. Perceptive, he thought. "I cannot," the android replied to the human, "but do not trouble yourselves, I can manage on my feet." He assured.
The android was built to be lithe and agile; as soon as they led the way, he would follow behind them, skipping over rocks and craters. He could use the stalactites as stepping stones as he dashes from one another and slide down against verticle slopes. Using his hands, which drift with his feet, he controls the direction of his displacement. Then, by his own judgement, the android would press against the wall. The redirected force dithers his descend and shifts the weight of his body forward as if suddenly flooring the brakes of a car; planting the soles of his feet and bending the knees, he propels himself off the rocky structure and onto another. Compared to his teammates, Zero was definitely doing a lot more work as they just floated over everything in a straight line. However, as an android, he did not tire and felt almost as natural as they did traversing the rocky tunnels. They would discover that he had no trouble catching up with them as he zigzagged across the passages.
Finally, he breaks the silence. "You mentioned people coming from Mement Mor to do business," he said. "I wonder what kind of business that is..." He didn't say it, but he was sure Sebastian could understand his indirect question. Zero was curious about the ways of Belegost. How do they keep themselves fed? How big is their civilization? What did they do for recreational purposes? What kind of goods and services are sold or bought galaxy-wide? What did Mement Mor usually visit for? There was still a ways to go before they would meet up with the lost crew; therefore, Zero's mission defaulted on gathering information. The more he knew, the better. He was taught. Just flying around in silence would accomplish nothing. As long as there was something the android did not know, he would ask. -And he hoped the human would not make him ask every question individually.
