(This thread is exclusively between Carla and Kurosanai placed before the saga when Kuro was on Earth. I couldn't fit Carla's name in the title. ) The air was sweet as the wind danced through the leaves of the trees. The Muzai compound was nestled amongst the rolling hills that Fujin Muzai had found so very enjoyable. It was said that after coming here he said that he would live no other place in the world and that he started his family shortly after that. There were many stories like this stating that Fujin Muzai did this and did that but most of the time all of them if analyzed to any degree would quickly be discovered as completely false. Kurosanai didn’t know why these stories would start up if there was not a shred of truth to it whatsoever but then again these stories could well have just started after one night of too much drinking a long time ago. After all anyone who actually studied Fujin, like Kurosanai had been forced to at great length, would realize that he was far from the nicest person in the world. The best word to describe him was that he was an ass. But that was another story for another time. Kurosanai sat against one of the trees that lined the road not too far off from the compound walls. Unbeknownst to many of Muzai including his parents and Mozoku he was actually waiting for a guest to arrive at the Muzai compound. Of course the one person that knew, somehow, was Izanami. She had made an offhand comment about it that to anyone else would have been completely benign but to Kuro it was a directed jab at the young prodigy. The person he was waiting for was the little girl that he had met when he went to go investigate the great power spike that occurred not but a short time ago. At first he thought it might be the malicious forces of the Lemur King of Newbraska but in actuality it was just an old man that claimed that he was the Guardian of the Earth. Her name was Carla Andorran, and she loved to wield to very large blades if Kurosanai remembered correctly or maybe getting poked in the eyes so damn hard by the old bastard it somehow imprinted a false memory within Kurosanai’s brain. In either case the young woman came from a very old family, one that could be compared to the Muzai in a sense. Both had ascended to greatness because of the efforts of one particular ancestor who brought prestige and acclaim to their names. After their deaths both families trained in combat based off of the fighting style of their ancestor. On top of that the Andorran family was considered old fashioned, now to whether or not this was true and if so to what degree. The Muzai were considered so old fashioned that it bordered on becoming backwards. However unlike the Muzai the Andorrans were spread far and wide across the world and the family still had many to its ranks. It would definitely be interesting to meet and compare notes on their families after they finally met one on one away from the sudden eye poking bastard that she called a mentor. “Such a beautiful day…it is this weather that makes me miss home whenever I go anywhere.” Kurosanai stated as he reclined against the tree more as the wind caused a few strands of his hair to dance in its sweet embrace. There he sat waiting for this Carla Andorran.

"Is that so? Does the weather really make you miss home?" a mature with brown hair asked as she looked up at Kurosanai resting on the branches above her with curious, brown eyes. She stood at five feet three inches tall, had pale white skin, and a voluptuous figure to boot. Her body was covered by a large yellow sun dress and over top this she wore a green shawl and a pair of wooden sandals on her feet.
The woman below him would be the young girl he was waiting for, Carla Andorran, but the young Muzai clansman would not know this because he probably had not seen Carla often whilst she used her Pandora's Presence, her ability to tap into the power of Pandora. Pandora was her ancestor, once a normal human treasure hunter who cheated the deities of Earth out of a magical wind sword named Kusanagi that she stole from the goddess of the Furnace of Eight Divisions, the legendary Annin, who never forgot that and had warriors of all kinds chase her. She would split the sword into two halves and then use its power to bring peace and good will to her family's lands only to eventually die at the hands of an evil archer who would take her life and force her to curse a nearby family to remember and carry her swords for the rest of their lives. That was until a proper host could be found and thought to believe in her existence and then brought to wield and kill with her swords once more to revive her trapped spirit.
Carla had done all that, as an Andorran family member, but nobody knew that better than the Muzai clan. She had come looking her best to the Muzai compound though because while traveling the world after training with Kami she got a message from her family. It read:
Dear Carla,
We have taken the liberty to take ourselves and the whole family into hiding after what you did to Carmen. We know you are alive and well because we have put tracking devices into your swords, a good thing too since you can never get rid of them, and we would just like to say we are sorry. The world is a cruel place.
As such, don't live life depraved live it with dignity. We ran away long ago from Pandora because we were afraid of her power and what we should do with it, but now in this current era we feel we must work with Pandora for a better future, especially after what happened to your sister. So know this you are a good person; fight for the good will of all but do not crusade for it like Pandora would like you to. That may lead you down a bitter path that will never heal the terrible evil you feel you committed. You and Pandora are one now, but certainly not the same being. Therefore, we implore you to meet with a man named Kurosanai Muzai. Once you find him go ahead and travel to his humble family abode and seek him and a woman named Izanami. We have high hopes for you and wish to give you a little more freedom and less tension in your life. Do it as not as an Andorran, but under our real family name, the AnAn clan. We only came up with the Andorran name in our past because we and/or ran from trouble at first site that appeared in our path after Pandora cursed our family. As you know, it was not fun and we would like to correct this by mutually binding you and our family to the Muzai clan so we may regain pride and confidence and you may learn more of your past.
Love,
Your Parents
She pulled this letter she had recently read from her dress's pocket and reached up to hand it to Kurosanai. "I'm sure you don't know me, but I am Carla Andorran or AnAn as this letter denotes, I'm supposed to see you though and someone named Izanami. I do not know what this meeting entails, but if we are making a family pact of some kind please note I cannot speak for the clan. But I will speak for myself I want no part in this. It sounds fishy to me what does your family have that would mutually bind my family to yours?"

Kurosanai must have been hit harder than he had thought when he was battling that old man. He had thought that the little girl that originally stood beside him was the Carla Andorran that he was supposed to wait for. Apparently his memory was distorted as now he stared at beautiful woman that was far from being a little girl that must have been no more than eleven years old. Seeing this woman seemed to cause Kurosanai’s heart to race a little bit. Now I know what you may be thinking it must be true love at first sight but you are wrong. It was more along the lines that the prodigy of the Muzai was not dead and he was attracted to the curvaceous body.
“It does. I am not sure if you have ever been off world before but when I left for the Omega Collective I got to see a lot of different sights that I never would have imagined including different races of beings. But throughout it all I missed this scene right here,” Kurosanai indicated with his outstretched hand towards the rolling hills as he cast a smile down on the young lady. “The smell of the air and the feeling of the sun warming my skin as my eyes take in the rolling hills that surround my childhood home. That is what I miss most when I am away from home and why I love coming back here so much.” Kurosanai continued as he turned his full focus to the woman that was standing beneath him.
She wore a magnificent yellow dress that flowed down to her feet, brown hair that blew in the wind, big brown eyes that begged for protection and pale skin that told the story that she had hardly been out in the sun which was a shame based on how beautiful she was. This Carla was short too, a plus in Kuro’s book. The prodigy of the Muzai rolled off the branch and landed nimbly with a soft sound on the ground just beside the base of the tree. He rolled his neck to the side before placing his bandaged hand on the back of his neck and turning around to face the woman. Once he had she would be able to see that Kuro was wearing a simple pair of cargo pants and pants, a black jacket and then instead of a shirt he had his entire torso and any showing skin on his arms bandaged up. It was a strange look that carried a very long story, one that defined the prodigy of the Muzai.
“I must admit, I must have remembered you wrong from that incident with the old man…I must have been hit much harder than I thought.” Kurosanai laughed. As he walked over to the young woman her beauty seemed to radiate off her more than from a distance. “It is nice to finally meet you one on one without the threat of being attacked by a roided out old man. Miss Carla Andorran or I should say Carla AnAn; it has been a long time since I have heard the AnAn name. Izanami mentioned something on it many years ago about possibly finding that particular clan again or something…you will have to admit you have kept your family secret for a while.” Kurosanai said trying to not come off as too much of a know it all. “As for Izanami I doubt you want to meet her quite this second, she is a bit of a buzz kill. May I see the letter?” Kurosanai asked politely.

"I'm glad you've gotten to see the galaxy I suppose," Carla stated as she put her hands on her hips, "I've never left Earth."
She stepped back the moment Kurosanai rolled off his tree branch and landed on the ground before her. At full height, Kurosanai was half a foot or more taller than her but well built looking underneath all the bandages wrapped around his torso and the black jacket he wore. For some reason, she could not understand why, but he wore a pair of cargo pants and a pair of normal black pants with his footwear.
Carla sighed and as he stepped up to her he talked about not remembering her the way she was now. "The reason I look this way to you now is because you have never seen me in this transformation. Kaladar jabbed you in the eyes and then provoked me to transform into this form during that fight. As a result, you were blind mostly during that training session. But what you see before you is my technique, or rather, Pandora's ability to possess and inhabit my body. She's the spirit I've been trying to tell some people here and there about that's been trying to turn my into some kind of goddess. I'm not in control of this form I should say, but Pandora and I have made a temporary truce. She's going to let me use this form as long as I want and in exchange I must use this power she's offered to reach the highest form of power I can so that she may in essence regain her deity body through me. Thanks to her dying at a certain age a long time ago, well, her curse has given the ability for me to age into the form you see now. But that said, here..."
Carla passed of the letter into Kurosanai's hand and said, "This Izanami person is someone my parents want me to meet I think so that she can shape me into a proper goddess, however, meeting her right now does sound like a bad idea. I don't intend to become the Guardian of Earth or anything like that, however, if I do not learn to control this body I suppose my parents and others I know fear I will end up like my sister; dead from trying to use the power inside me. I had to kill her to get it you know since only one person can possess the swords attached to my waste at a time. It's understandable I guess cause my power in our only battle together burned down a house."
She blushed and hoped that her talk about killing others would not turn him away from her. She had come, she suspected, for family negotiations and the details were unclear so this kind of talk she felt was going to make things uneasy, but she could not just flat out not tell the family about herself. It would not help either group. She gripped the swords at her waist and waited for Kurosanai to read her letter thoroughly. It would probably read weirdly to him since the goals in it and such were vague.

So he hadn’t been poked so hard it had messed up his memory. That was an excellent prospect to know considering that he had initially attacked an ‘ally’ in his fight against the old man. That old fart had proved to be much much tougher then Kurosanai had originally anticipated. Being poked in the eyes right at the beginning of the fight though was far from ideal. Perhaps it was because Kuro was one of the most technical fighters that were present or perhaps it was because he was feared by the old man. In either case he didn’t like him, the old fart didn’t fight fair and it bugged the Muzai man.
When he carefully took the letter from Carla’s hand his eyes studied the words on the piece of paper. From what he read this young woman had had a tough life thus far and it appeared that she did not have any support from her family in any form. Sad really. He wasn’t sure what that felt like because he always had his family at his back. The comment about finding Kurosanai made sense since he was the face of the clan but to go to talk with Izanami was somewhat surprising. Most people weren’t able to get a meeting with her. If it was not for the fact that Kuro was the prodigy of the Muzai he doubted Izanami would have given him the time of the day. To be able to get a meeting with her right off the bat her family must have pulled some strings. As he finished the letter he heard Carla bring up the fact that she had killed people. This was not the first time that he had heard it from the young woman, as he had heard that she had the first time they met. His eyes shifted from the piece of paper to the swords at her waste.
It was no secret that Kurosanai detested killing anything let alone a human but based on the letter Carla seemed like she was far from in control of her actions at the time. Perhaps he would be able to look past it since she was supposedly not in control. But looking at the swords caused his stomach to turn. To kill someone took a serious commitment as there was no going back. Maybe someday he would have to face that dilemma but he was not looking forward to that day.
“I must admit that this letter is rather convincing. Even it is really impressive as a fake or this is rather intriguing that your family managed to get a meeting with Izanami, though I still don’t think that you really want to talk with her. She would probably kill me if she didn’t have use for me,” Kuro laughed. The joke was in bad taste though and the pretty girl probably wouldn’t have laughed. “I do have one question for you though. How good are you with those things?” He was curious. If she wielded them then she had to have been at least a little bit skilled in them. He didn’t often meet swordsmen or in this case swordswomen in his lack of travels.

Carla waited for Kurosanai to finish, but when he did he clearly stated his acceptance of her letter from her family. Yet she was quite surprised to see him asking if she was any good with her swords. He should have already known that she probably was not considering that the letter and what she had been trying to say thus far indicated that to a degree. But she decided to reiterate her thoughts in a way she would understand.
"These swords produce the power you see before you right now, the form you see before you right now, and the optimum level of my power. If you have any ability to sense power levels in a person, which I do not myself, then you should know that this is actually twice my own current power. What you see before you is not my real form. I am actually only thirteen years old and it is only because of the spirit Pandora in my body that I can exceed my normal fighting limits and look like this." As she finished her words, almost as if on cue, she began to feel her power lower and her body change back into her more youthful form. Pandora, who was focusing all her efforts now on keeping Carla's appearance the same, could not continue to generate the power to do so.
She stood in front of Kurosanai now, almost a good two feet shorter than him now and looked up at him with her green eyes. Her hair, which was a fiery red now, blew in the wind along with her sun dress and she was completely forced to roll the bottom hem of the large garment up. "I'm sorry," she uttered, "but as you actually see me now my sword skills are crud and my charade seems up. I have no idea what our families want with one another, but perhaps you should help me figure this out."

Perhaps the question that he fielded was a bit out there but he was curious. But what occurred next was even more interesting and strange than he could have ever imagined. The beautiful woman that Kuro was admittedly attracted to suddenly was immersed in a light that blinded the prodigy of the Muzai briefly what he saw after the fact make his stomach turn a little bit. Standing in the place of the beautiful woman was now a very young little girl no bigger than twelve or thirteen. This was the Carla that Kurosanai had met when he had the brief encounter with the old man that held the power equivalent to the Lemur King of Newbraska. It was in that moment that he realized that he had in fact been attracted to a twelve year old girl. He felt his stomach violently turning as he could not seem to fathom the idea that Carla was split between two ages, one that Kurosanai was highly interested in while the other he did not want to touch with a ten foot pole.
Soon it became too much and Kurosanai turned away from the small child and tucked behind the tree he had been sitting in. He doubled over before feeling his stomach wretch over and over again while he was forced with the unpleasant image of looking at the food he had eaten for breakfast. His stomach repeated this process about four times before he was finally able to regain control. Kurosanai wiped his mouth on his bandaged hands as he stood up. His head turned around to see the small girl standing there. ’What did Izanami have planned with such a girl? Was she to be used as some form of pawn in order to get the AnAn clan to bow to the Muzai with absolute obedience? Or was she after Pandora? That spirit could prove to be useful if someone were sick enough to try and rip it out of her body?’
“Sorry about that. I didn’t mean for that to happen. I…umm…I ate something funky at breakfast that didn’t sit well with me.” Kurosanai jested nervously. “Perhaps I should show you into the compound, that way I can introduce you to everyone and then when you have decided that you no longer want to smile I will bring you to Izanami. From there both of us can be informed as to what is going on.” Kurosanai suggested. He needed to pivot away from the fact that he had just lost all of the contents of his stomach behind the tree. If he was lucky she wouldn’t consider it an insult to her appearance, but knowing the prodigy of the Muzai’s luck that would be exactly how she took it.
“By the way. I highly doubt you are bad with the swords. If I remember correctly you were actually quite good. I will have to have a refresher on your amazing abilities with those things. Who knows, we might even have a chance to do just that once we are in the compound.” Kuro stated with a calm caring smile. He would turn and then extend his hand out in front of him in a motion to try and get Carla to move forward towards the small town that he called home.

"It's fine," Carla said as she sweated a little and quickly dabbed her brow with a hanky from her pocket. Her skirt was quite big on her now, but she rolled it up a little and followed him as he talked and extended his hand for her to come.
"My swordsmanship is okay I suppose," she would answer as she walked after him, "but that said I don't think Izanami wants me as your sparring partner. She wants you and I for something more. I'm just hoping this mutual bond between families is not a marriage or something of that nature. Otherwise, you might either have to wait six years or train me to the highest level of fighting power in order for me to access my full power and become, er, her again. Right now she only lets me borrow her form."
She had not realized it then, but Kurosanai had no interest in her younger form. He wanted to know more about her other form and it was this other form Izanami was also probably interested in as well. This form, Pandora, was indeed a goddess and a woman of the highest quality. She would be the only one probably suitable for such a man as Kurosanai. It was likely she had heard all about Carla though and her sister and had found that any plans concerning the proper input of Pandora into Carla's body had failed due to her and her sister's past meddling with weapons they were not supposed to touch.
The village that Carla would follow Kurosanai into was quite small, but a humble place. It made Carla frown since although her family was living in little enclaves all over the planet Carla was, for all intents and purposes, someone who lived in a nice shrine. She hoped she could adjust and it seemed her family had wanted to have her adjust to the place she was now going to.

“My swordsmanship is okay I suppose, but that said I don't think Izanami wants me as your sparring partner. She wants you and I for something more. I'm just hoping this mutual bond between families is not a marriage or something of that nature. Otherwise, you might either have to wait six years or train me to the highest level of fighting power in order for me to access my full power and become, er, her again. Right now she only lets me borrow her form.” Carla stated with certainity in her voice for part of her statement but then as she continued talking the doubt returned. The young woman did not give herself enough credit from what he remembered seeing she was highly capable of defending herself in combat and even was better than many of the Muzai warriors. As for Izanami she could fully expect her to fight Kurosanai to truly evaluate her abilities, she often did that whenever she got the chance with Kuro, or it could be the uniting of the two families. The prodigy of the Muzai doubted marriage though as Carla was much too young and the possibility to marry Kurosanai into a more well connected family was too great in the short term.
“Don’t count Izanami out on making us fight. She relishes the opportunity to watch me suffer whenever she gets the chance. She is rather vindictive in that sense but I guess it is really only to make sure that I can represent the clan in the best way possible. She could definitely do it in a much more peaceful method in my opinion though,” Kurosanai spoke as he led the small female down the street of compound. At this time of day many of the Muzai were off working at that their jobs in either the surrounding farms or in the city that was not too far over. What was left were little kids that ran across the street laughing and squealing as they chased one another, young mothers gossiping about their neighbors, old women yelling at the children for being too loud and old men playing board games talking about the old days under the guidance of Sarutobi.
These were the people that often looked at Kurosanai with hope in their eyes at the future. Some of the older members of the clan were able to remember back to the days that the Muzai were powerful and some even remembered the others that held the Aoiro but those were many decades before Kuro was even a possibility. It was those people that the prodigy of the Muzai tried to reassure that he was the real deal while he gave hope to the young children that darted through the buildings like street rats with a goal of obtaining food. This was the pressure that Kuro lived under his entire life; this was the pressure that he did not want to put Carla under.
“As far as marriage goes. I doubt that Izanami would marry me off quite yet. No offense. I just feel that she may want to keep that piece for the right moment to take absolute advantage of that scenario. I don’t see that scenario quite yet.” Kurosanai said with a smile trying to be as least insulting as he could.

Carla sighed and followed Kurosanai. She could tell he was looking down on her the way he so extensively talked about her and Izanami doing this or that with them. She really hated it, however, considering he was like twenty something and she was thirteen things would not be so easy for her in gaining proper relations with the family. She could already feel eyes staring at them as they walked down the street of the Muzai compound, especially from the elder people out and about playing checkers and such. It made her nervous and because it did Pandora, who was watching her and Kurosanai's reactions to each other, crept back into her mind and took control.
"Ha, you really think someone like her would make us fight? Well, I can tell you now you won't hold a candle to me. And I relish the day we get married you know. You know that day to get married could be right now. After all, underneath this puny body is a woman just bursting to come out." Pandora would say as she smiled with Carla's lips and raised her hands into the air. She would then try to walk around in front of Kurosanai, stand on her tiptoes, and attempt to kiss him, however, Carla reigned her in and made her simply stand in his pathway.
"Uh, just disregard all of that," she would utter, "I have no control over my speech or actions sometimes and that other woman Pandora who you met is. So much hotter than the twerp you don't want to even touch." It was no use Carla clearly not controlling the situation anymore as her hand went out to grab Kurosanai's own hand. Pandora now wanted to hold hands with him and a little girl like her would not stop her.

Kurosanai had to admit that he did not think that Carla Andorran or Carla AnAn, which ever name you wanted to call her, did not have much confidence in herself. It was a pity because everyone should take pride in something that they do whether it be the winner of the galactic tournament like Conri Lane or that weird Saiyan prostitute that wanted to bash Kurosanai’s skull in for whatever reason. Seeing her with that lack of confidence only drove the desire for Kuro to somehow figure out a way to build up her confidence. He could also tell that she was far from being comfortable in the compound. This was due in part to the idea that all eyes were on her. The Muzai did not receive visitors often and as such whenever someone new arrived it was a sight to see. Add to the fact that she was not really here on her own accord and that she was walking beside the ‘face of the clan’, he hated that term so much.
It was as he was thinking of this that he noticed the subtle change in the air around him. He had to admit that before he would have never caught the change due in large part to being distracted by Carla’s older version but this time he felt the shift even if many wouldn’t have. The words that spurt out of Carla’s mouth next caught the prodigy of the Muzai completely by surprise.
"Ha, you really think someone like her would make us fight? Well, I can tell you now you won't hold a candle to me. And I relish the day we get married you know. You know that day to get married could be right now. After all, underneath this puny body is a woman just bursting to come out." Carla spouted off. Even though her voice stayed the same Kuro could feel a different presence behind the intent. It was not the little girl that was speaking. I know shocker, the twelve year old didn’t essentially say that she was going to jump Kuro. Just go with it, it is called building exposition. Right after finishing the words she stepped in front of the prodigy of the Muzai blocking her path. Her body seemed to hesitate from doing something for a split second before relaxing a bit.
The words seemed so fiery, so alive and so jarring. As the words sank into Kurosanai’s mind something seemed to stir awake. It was a low growl and then a laugh. The presence was familiar. He could not seem to pin down exactly where it was from but all he was able to determine was that his opponent from the Galactic Tournament, Adrien La’Moore, was involved somehow. In a tone of laughter two words were whispered within the confines of his mind. ‘Pandora…finally…’ The phrase caused him to slip out of the his mental focus long enough to completely miss what Carla had been saying. He could see her lips move but not a single word ever reached his ears. It was not until Carla had grabbed Kuro’s bandaged hand did he seem to snap back to reality.
“She would make us fight…to prove that the Muzai are stronger…” Kuro rambled off quietly at first as he slowly became aware of the situation. It took a moment for the word marriage to actually process in his mind. Yes I know folks he is a bit slow on the uptake right now. Then with a jolt he sprung backwards about three feet. “No no no no no. We are not getting married!” Kuro said in a panic causing a bit of a scene in front of everyone. “I am twenty-two and you…you are like twelve! It would make absolutely no sense to do something like that! There wouldn’t be any…any…” Kurosanai continued rambling as he fell onto the ground butt first. “There wouldn’t be any children for years…” He whispered to himself eyes never leaving Carla. Now while Kurosanai was old fashioned and believed that once married a man could never be with a woman, he did believe in a little fun beforehand, fun that he hadn’t yet been able to experience and the thought that he would have to wait another eight years or so to experience said fun was not exactly high on his wish list. With that said there was absolutely no way that Carla was not going to take that as insult. He bet she would probably even swipe at him with her swords and he couldn’t blame her if she did. It was much deserved.

For the longest time Kurosanai seemed to be in a daze over Carla's words. The little girl who was thirteen and not twelve now considered it might be from the fact that all of the words oozing from her mouth were mostly Pandora's words and causing him to lose sight and focus on the things around him. She herself could barely control herself and simply tried to key in on his quiet ramblings. She did not mind fighting Kurosanai for his hand in marriage, however, when he suddenly jumped back she realized he must be picking up on something from her. He shouted about their age difference being too much between them and simply tilted her head to one side in confusion.
Landing on his butt, Carla bent down towards him and heard him whispering more stuff to himself. She furrowed her brow and asked, "Did I say you didn't want children? Or was it that you didn't think I could have any?" she asked as she leaned her left ear towards his mouth with a frown on her face. Getting married almost always meant children were expected, at least among old fashioned families, if Carla did not have children then the whole point of her coming to the Muzai compound almost seemed null and void if they were not prepping her for a future marriage contract or ceremony. It seemed to be the only thing a clan like Kurosanai's could want with hers.
Her body seethed with anger a little since Kurosanai was worried about her age compared to his. She did not care though since as long as he was strong she felt she would be good. All she was seeing from him was a few of his weak points and relatively few of his strengths. Carla could understand though. He was not ready for marriage and neither was she now that she thought about it. Her stomach seemed to drop and she turned away from him, "Forgot I asked you those two damned questions. If I must marry and carry your children for you as part of some contract then at least show me your strong points." She then crossed her arms and waited for him to stand on his own and look at her with some kind of courage in his heart. The guy was interesting at first, but now he seemed plain boring. She had done some weird things in the past from killing people to annoying drunkards with random actions, but now she felt like she had least found someone she was trying to properly connect with and this was without Pandora really getting in her way and telling her how to act.

She didn’t get it. It wasn’t the fact that Kurosanai did not want to have kids. He did, later on in life after he got to enjoy himself with traveling across the planet and learning from a whole bunch of people. But the idea of having the prodigy tied to a thirteen year old kid for five years before he could even think about producing heirs for the Muzai clan seemed a bit out there even for Izanami. Then you add in the fact that he wanted to ‘have fun’ before getting married the situation seemed to be a nightmare in and of itself. He was going to have to figure out a way to properly maneuver this situation without causing any more damage than he already had. It was obvious that Carla’s opinion of him was dropping like a rock in the ocean. He had to get ahead of it somehow but his mind just seemed to freeze.
“It’s not that I don’t think marrying you is a bad idea…it is just that I think marrying you right now is a bad idea. I know Izanami. She is going to want to make that official as soon as possible which sort of leaves us with a situation for five to six years. I wouldn’t be able to touch you in any way shape or form due to the laws that prevent pedophilia. Which makes me wonder whether or not marrying you is the best thing for my clan. I mean you wouldn’t conceivably be able to carry my child until six or seven years had passed anyways!” Kurosanai responded to the young girl. He was going to have to show her somehow that he was not trying to insult her but he doubted that there was anything he could actually do now.
Just when he thought things were bad enough a high frequency ringing struck Kurosanai upside the head like a bat. It was as if someone was trying desperately to tell him to shut up. At first Kurosanai tried to shake it out of his head but instead this only seemed to amplify the magnitude of the ringing which actually caused both of his hands to fly to his head in a desperate attempt to stop the pain before his head seemed to explode. The pain was so great that he actually began to breathe heavier than normal in an attempt to combat it. Nothing seemed to work.
‘Pandora…finally…finally…I have found you…’ A voice whispered in the back of his head. It was unnerving and his vision began to blur slightly. Whatever was going Kurosanai refused to give up an inch to the voice. Out of desperation and instinct the prodigy of the Muzai ignited his Aoiro. He didn’t know why as there was not a single person that was standing in front of him that was causing this pain. His eyes darted around desperately but after igniting his Aoiro he only seemed to be faced with more debilitating pain. He so wanted to try and crawl to his feet but he could not seem to muster the strength to talk let alone to try and make it to his feet. ‘Her power…combined with ours…near limitless potential…’

"You sound like a husband who really has no idea what he's doing... I may be a wife though too that acts like that," Carla answered as she crossed her arms over her chest. She hated to admit it but he was right. She would have to wait five or six years to become a proper wife to him, or take on Pandora's full power to become his true wife. It was a conundrum but she could not wait that long. Kurosanai seemed like a nice guy and if her family wanted her to fulfill a responsibility of forming a mutual bond with his family. Then she was going to do that in any way possible. They would understand eventually.
The problem was he seemed not to be listening anymore after she rattled off some quick counter-complaints. The reason being was that now the young man was grabbing his head like he was in pain, under attack, or worse. She looked around and noticed nobody else seemed to be causing this and asked, "What's wrong?"
Before she could help him he fell to ground though and seemed unable to get up. She bent down and thought, "Crud, this is all my fault. He's probably panicking or something." She shook him hard and tried to wake him up to stop him from whatever was going on, however, Pandora appeared before her in her mind and said, "Stop, you're connecting with-"
She did not stop though. As a result, the world around her grew dark and thick cloud surrounded her. Within the cloud Pandora stood next to, her eyes darting around and uttered, "Now you have done it we have either crossed over into someone else's mental space or are on a higher spiritual plane. Take your pick but now we stand in the realm of a deity or bad spirit."
"I thought you were evil," Carla said as she looked back at Pandora with her brown eyes and a sense of wonder.
"I have told you before I am not evil, yet I only do what appear to be evil things because I was unjustifiably killed hundreds of years ago by," she stopped talking because somewhere in the black cloud surrounding them was the man, a very evil man she felt like she had dealt with in the past. She did not know where he was, however, she could sense his presence was somewhere in there. Carla had yet to develop her powers to include this power of Pandora's bond with her, however, the goddess now silently swore she would help them both get out of this situation.
The man would pay for trapping them in here if this was his doing. If she remembered correctly she only wished to conquer his lands because the clans had been rather troublesome, warring clans. It was hard to remember since it was so long ago, but the memories came back to her, and as a result, came to Carla as new, fresh ones. Blood flashed before their eyes, people screamed, and the young girl screamed her head off as she watched the illusion of a sword plunge through her stomach.
Pandora quickly went to her charge and embraced her, "It's fake. There is a real threat in here with us and Kurosanai, but that threat has not found us quite yet. What you are experiencing is a brief glimpse of a small memory about a group that I came upon while warring against various lands. I never knew what happened to them, however, I suppose they could or could not have survived that period long ago. That said, I have no clue who we are dealing with now but they are dangerous so be on your guard."

It all happened in a sudden surge. Carla had walked forward and touched Kurosanai in an effort to try and help him from the pain. The ringing had grown to be too unbearable for Kurosanai and he was forced to shut his eyes. It was when he felt her hands clasp down around his shoulders was he pulled out of whatever the ringing was. Instantly it stopped and his eyes shot open. For a split second he could have sworn that he had seen not only Carla standing in front of him, but also Pandora standing just off behind her shoulder and then another figure behind her. He had no idea who it was but it would not matter. Just as he was able to perceive what was going on everything was whited out before him.
The sound of two female’s voices echoed throughout the white world. Each had a presence that was starkly different from the other. The first was that of a small child, a little girl. She was giving off the aura of something that was being imprisoned. By what the presence could not tell. The other however gave off the aura of a warrior and one of power. It was this female that had interested the presence for decades. It had been trying to find her for most of its life in order to gain access to her power. What he would have done with it he was not sure since he never truly thought of what came after finding her.
His footsteps echoed as he emerged from a growing cloud of grey. The man’s appearance was not of Kurosanai but rather a new figure all together. He was barefoot, wore a simple pair of pants and a vest while his hair was buzzed close to his scalp. The presence that he gave off was something that was much more subtle then the young woman would be able to pick up. It was one of great power being heavily restrained back in an effort to not appear as a threat. The older woman would probably recognize the attempt and would no doubt react in an according manner.
“Pandora…I have been searching for you for a long time…” The man said as he continued to walk over to the two females. It would not be until he was standing in front of the two of them that he actual body size would truly be recognized. He was by no means built of pure muscle and he was far from an imposing size. He stood at about five foot eleven inches tall and was only built with muscle that you might find on a farm hand. It was his eyes though that were not normal. This man’s eyes contained blue vortexes that emanated from the center of his eye with the pupil. This was the Aoiro a special technique that he had developed in his youth. Following this he would develop a special fighting style based off of this ability. Using these two self-taught techniques the man would rise to great power and at one point almost become the leader of the entire planet of Earth. It was these two things that he would pass down to his clan.
“I believe I should introduce myself to you. I am Fujin Muzai, and I have been looking for you for centuries,” Fujin said with a slight bow of his head.
