[Avatar for this simulator battle: moe.animecharactersdatabase.com/uploads/chars/5092-1910170262.jpg ] Model Zero enters the training chamber; a white, domed shaped room with nothing but metal walls all around. His steps echo throughout the chamber. Clack... Clack... Clack... His body was ridged with special transparent weights that adapted to the gauntlets on his arms and legs. His creators loved keeping Zero's design aesthetically pleasing and having big, robust gizmos attached were not pleasing at all. This way, Zero could train with his heavy weights without compromising his sleek appearance. The hatch from where he entered shuts soon after and he is left alone within the room. The training chamber was equipped with an assortment of hefty gadgets, all with the goal of ensuring Model Zero had the best training sessions they could ever hope for. It had a simulator, capable of changing the environment and generating fighters their prized machine could go head to head against, and there was also a machine which could manipulate gravity; unfortunately, that function had been suffering from glitches as of late and so they would forgo the added gravitational force in the day's session. The scientists, Ivan and The Doctor -along with their apprentices and lab aides, watch leisurely through a monitor. They were preparing the simulator, looking for a match somewhere in the universe. Their fingers pound on the keys rapidly and effortlessly as they had countless hours worth of experience behind the computer. Finally, after much processing, the monitor displays two words on the screen. Match Found. An instant later, the room morphs in a flash of light. Zero opens his now brown eyes to the dawn of an unknown place. It was a barren land going on for miles and miles as far as the eye could see. No mountains, no ocean, no structures whatsoever except thousands of swords embedded into the ground. It appeared he had entered some kind of graveyard for swords, the after-effects of some ancient war. However, this was nothing but a simulated world; as far as he knew, this place didn't even exist. The android brings his hands in front of his face to observe the changes in his appearance. Although he could not see himself, his long golden hair was replaced by shorter, royal red. His clothes consisted of blue garments, a shoulder pad, a variation of leather straps holding his sword and his belt, white pants and leather boots. He also had some kind of blue cloth tied around his thigh. Without giving it much though, he glances at the lens of his scouter, and turns to meet his opponent. Man says nothing. He is quiet as usual and offers but a non-chalant gaze to his opponent. He would wait for his challenger to suck in their surroundings and prepare for the coming battle. Tilting his head, he spots the other's sword and smirks. All of these gestures, of course, were not Zero's doing. The android himself was stoic and expressionless, but his avatar, the being which represented him was different. Zero's identity was hidden thoroughly, nobody could ever guess he was himself with the drastic change in appearance. If he ever spoke, it would be shown that his voice had also changed, and even the gestures were much different as the android found no meaning in giving things such as smirking. Yet, the lips on his simulated body curls up into a defying grin and furrows his eyebrows. Model Zero reaches for the handle of his energy blade, which was disguised as an ordinary metallic sword, and pulls it out of the scabbard strapped to his waist. The metal hisses. This act was to demonstrate to his opponent that Zero was ready to fight.

With a flash, Zeke was taken to a barren field of blades under a red sky. The simulation was so realistic that he could feel the wind pass through his avatars hair, smell the death and the blood, and hear the eerie sound the wind made passing between the swords. Zeke was amazed at the level of detail that went into these simulators. It was like he was really right there.
Zeke had been completely transformed into a new person. He was shorter and slimmer than in reality, sporting a red button-up shirt and black slacks with a matching set of shoes. He had a long black leather coat almost loke his own, only with a different collar and no armor on the shoulders. Zeke looked down into a puddle of water and seen that he was in fact a young man, clean shaven with bleached white hair and pinkish red eyes. An albino? Who the hell picked this avatar for Zeke?
He remembered now. Jaxine thought it was cute. She even named him 'Zilo', making his online ID. If Zeke had his way, he would have picked something different, like an Acrosian or something. But this wasn't all that bad, he figured and pulled the black gloves he wore tight as he heard the footprints behind him. He looked over his shoulder out of the corner of his eye, sighting an older looking man with reddish hair and a blue coat, white pants and brown leather boots. The man drew his blade as a sign that he was ready.
Zeke looked at the man for a few moments, then looked away. He would fake that he was not interested at first, as if he were ignoring the man completely. Then in a flash, Zeke would cause the ground under him to launch him upward and take to the air, two black wings appearing from his back at the same time that he ripped the blade from the right hip free in his left hand. It was good to see that Matter Manipulation worked in the simulation. His sword, black and silver, exactly like Muramasa only with a few differences. He had made sure the Japanese insignia on the sheathe was not there for the simulation.
He floated above the man below before dropping down behind the pillar he had made and cutting clean through it as he charged his target at full speed, prepared to unleash a furry of slashes to start things off.

Zero examined his opponent. He had short white hair, pale skin, and red eyes as cold as his own. He wore black pants and a red shirt under a long black coat that fluttered in the dry breeze that brushed past them. The man seemed uninterested in Zero and looked away. Man furrowed his eyebrows, his grin devolving into a snarl, expressing his disdain to the other's indifference. If he was not going to take him seriously, then he was going to make him. However, before the android could make a move, the ground below his opponent's feet rose to the sky. Zero was forced to crouch and propped his hands on the ground which shook violently. If he had remained afoot, he would have lost balance and fallen over. The android peers into the blood red sky in search of his opponent. From the distance, he looked quite small, but it was easy to find him since he stood above the giant pillar; although his scouter aided him in the process with a much more acute calculation.
Man observed what seemed to be a pair of black wings attached to the back of the humanoid being. Such a peculiar technique, he thought. He had never witnessed someone manifest wings onto his back, yet he had never seen someone raise the ground quite as he had either. It appeared that he was going to face off against an airborne fighter. Zero himself could not fly, so that would prove to be a challenge. Determined, the android marches on across the battlefield and starts running up the sides of the rocky pillar. Half-way up the vertical slope, his opponent jumps off the edge. Zero's scouter tracks him all the way through and warns him of an incoming attack. The android speeds up, just enough to evade the flying warrior as he literally slices through the mountain with the edge of his blade. If Zero were impressionable, that would have made his heart drop a few beats. But any emotion he may have expressed belong to his avatar and nothing more.
By now his opponent was probably contemplating where his adversary had gone to, but as the pillar fell, Zero grew ever closer. The android was running upside down, and if his opponent were to turn to see, they would meet eye to eye. In that instant, Zero's brown eyes resonated a surprisingly teal hue that faded shortly after. The android had ascended into his Override state, in which he stood at equal footing with the other. Finally, with his sword arched and ready, Zero swings his blade in an attempt to strike the man down from the sky and ground him to the floor.

The man came back at Zeke running on the pillar he had created... running upside down. Zeke opened his wings to break in mid air, drawing back for a slash when the man released one of his own. Zeke blocked, but had no footing and was batted back. He regained flight control and circled around to come land on the end of the pillar as it fell. The second it hit the ground he charged down the length of it, looking to find his target. He was aware of his surroundings, as the man could have either jumped above him, run down the side with intentions of coming behind him, or was simply waiting behind the pillar at the end.
Zeke tried to sense the man... but something was wrong. He couldn't sense him at all! But why? no matter really, he had fought without his sense of energy for a long time. He could do it now. It reminded him somewhat of Twenty-One, his Android. He couldn't sense her energy for some reason...
Zeke sheathed his blade as he closed in on the other end, focusing energy as he slid to a stop. There were three techniques he could unleash at this point... but witch would he need? He focused on his senses, looking for any indication of his target and prepared to unleash hell upon him.
Damn video games were too realistic these days.

The metallic counterpart hissed as his saber clashes in a brilliant spark with his opponent's blade. The force of their thrusts made them part in response to the strength emitted. Man's opponent was sent sprawling back on his extended wings while the android fell to the ground now with his momentum interrupted. The giant pillar Zeke had created now above him, he would most certainly be crushed as Zero could not fly. In midair, he was completely vulnerable. However, with his trusty saber in hand, the android swings overhead and slices through the molten rock like cheddar cheese. The pillar it torn asunder into halves, allowing him to take refuge between the open gap. The ground roars as dust clouds and debris rise into the air. Model Zero remained hidden between the cracks, leaned up against the rocky structures where his flying opponent could not see. His built-in scouter beeped steadily, a soundless and internalized eep only Man was aware of. Zeke's digits were displayed on the corner of his eye along with his location and level above ground.
Model Zero braced himself, waiting for his opponent to approach the rubble closer. If he waited too long, Zero predicted his opponent would just start pounding the ground with random energy blasts cascading over the graveyard. Perhaps that was ideal in order to cover his movements; regardless, just standing around hidden would accomplish nothing quickly. On the other hand, while he had the advantage of hiding, his opponent commands the skies with his wings. Was he willing to give up his edge? Or was he wasting it by doing nothing? The only place to hide was the block of molten rock created by his opponent, which now lay idle on the ground. The rest was a vast space of nothingness; flat land with embedded swords as far as the eye could see. So was he really hiding? No, he concluded. His opponent knew where he was because there was only one place he could be. There was no point in hiding. With that settled, the android unclipped his pistol and peered out the corner of the pillar. If Zeke was perceptive, he might notice Zero's red hair or he might overlook it as his hair camouflaged with the crimson rock.
Either way, the android's pistol was disguised as an empty hand. Zero raised his arm swiftly and extended the index finger forward with the thumb sticking up. Pointing the tip of his finger at the flying warrior, it resembled exactly what he held in his hand -a gun. However, it would not be expected for Zeke to notice the odd gesture; a second later, he pulls the trigger. As fast as lightning, a small and compressed bullet of energy shoots out out his index finger. If it were to strike, the airborne man would find that it may pierce through his skin like a hot knife on butter. Right after the first, came a second, and then a third and so on in consecutive succession.

Standing with his blade ready to draw out, the white haired boy focused his red eyes on the end of the pillar. If his attacker hadn't come at him by now, then he had to be hiding... and it was the only place he could be right now. He was right, the man popped out around the corner pointing a finger at him. Zeke was confused at first, but he was quick to become defensive, as he knew of techniques in wich the user could fire beams from a finger.
It was no beam. It was a bolt of some kind. It cracked from the mans hand and tore through Zeke's shoulder. His eyes widened, his teeth clenched and he stumbled back from the shot. I feel pain here! He looked up in the top right corner to see a green bar loose some of its color. And... is that a health bar? he thought to himself. This was indeed strange.
He drew out his blade and struck back at the bolts with lightning fast strikes. Zeke hated guns and had dealt with firearms before. What was even stranger was this man was shooting him with nothing in his hand. He then ran down the pillar and sprang off the end of it where the man stood, turning in mid air. From there, Zeke took the blade in both hands and released a powerful cut through the air, creating a crescent arc of energy that came down at the man.
Zeke then chased his attack, looking for where the man would avoid it to. Nobody challenged the crescent slash head on and came out of it with their limbs attached, so Zeke knew he would block or dodge. He would be prepared to swoop in with a punch built up of his incoming momentum and follow ti with a slash from his sword to send the man flying.

The red haired android was pleased to see the first bullet hit its mark as the airborne fighter stumbled back in anguish. He definitely wasn't going to let one of those hit him again -not without a true challenge. The warrior then demonstrated his skill with the blade by fending off all of Zero's energy bullets with lightning fast strokes of the sword. To hit such a small and fast target, the man would need incredibly precise and timely thrusts; he was definitely experienced with his weapon. Next, the flying man further proves his ability by manuevering past the following bullets without any harm whatsoever.
Approaching the android, the airborne fighter twists with the swing of his blade. The swift motion generates a crescent wave of energy. Model Zero retreats into the cracks of the fallen pillar, promptly after, the crescent energy wave blasts into the crust of the rocky structure and shatters it into rubble. Knowing his opponent was coming closer, Man awaited his arrival. Suddenly, his chest would start to glimmer -the only sign to his opponent indicating he was preparing an attack as, in reality, the android's chest had opened like a hatch to reveal the cannons hidden inside. Most of this act was concealed by his simulated body however.
If all things went according to plan, Zero would meet his opponents fist with his Renzoku Energy Dan, a barrage of dozens of energy spheres rocketing out of his chest in choas. All the rocks surrounding them would crumbled under the multiple explosions shaking the very ground with its roar. It would be very difficult to evade such an unexpected attack with such small room for movement. However, if his opponent had somehow been able to get past his attacks, Model Zero would be wide open for any attack he could muster; for this reason, he had found himself a closed space where he could cover his back with the wall behind him. This way, the only way his opponent could reach him would be through the barrage of energy blasts or the very rock behind him.

The red haired man had used what was left of the pillar as cover to evade his attack. As he swooped in, the man was left surrounded by rubble with only the front as an opening. With a glimmer, a volley of blasts erupted at Zeke in what appeared as a random pattern. Smart, as he would now be unable to determine a pattern for navigating through.
He tried, however and tried to dodge his way through the blasts. He got closer when one finally struck him and exploded. Zeke was pushed back, flipping in the air before he threw a hand out. "Aegis!" he called out, with a large shield appearing in front of him, composed of multiple hexagons of Ki. It was stronger than the average bubble shield, but only protected the single direction. Aegis would easily be able to withstand the attacks and protect Zeke, but he was accomplishing nothing if he were to simply wait it out there. Little did he know his opponent would not run out of energy.
Zeke didn't need to get close though, nor did he need to move! Sheathing his blade, he threw both hands out to the sides and focused on the stones around the man. With one movement, he flicked his fingers upward and all of the stones took to the air. He crushed them all together over the man and brought them down with his own Telekinetic force, backed by the gravity at hand. Could he sense psykinetic energy as well as he could Ki? Zeke figured the man wouldn't be long moving, and by moving he would have to re-direct his blasts or stop them.
Zeke would then swoop in with a full-on punch to the face before he would commence his next wave of attack. If the man somehow found a way around his attack and still focused fire on Zeke, he would simply not move and keep aegis up.

Spheres of incandescent energy ricochet from the man's garment sporadically, tearing apart any land and protruding rock in its path. His eyes followed the winged warrior as he attempts to bypass his defenses and dodge his way through. Vain and fruitless effort, he thought. Man's tactics were flawless; for his opponent to get through he would need incredibly monstrous speed, and if he were that fast then Zero would not have been standing his ground as well as he has. Soon the white-haired man was stopped at his tracks when one of his energy blasts finally burst over him and sent him aback. Zero could no longer see him after that, although he could still follow along with his built-in scouter leading the way. Behind all the ki blasts being ejected from his chest, the warrior stood steadily and silently. Man could only guess that he was somehow blocking his attacks; for if he were being struck, he could not stand in a single spot so readily. The force of so many different and consistent blasts would force even the largest and greatest of men to fall back. No, he stood his ground, somehow.
Suddenly, rocks and stones begin to shift around the androids brown leather boots. The earth purrs a granular sound as debris falls in droplets over his light skin. Peering overhead, Zero finds a collection of boulders gathering and conglomerating, crushing against each other to form a single large object hovering over him. Normally, Zero would have been defenseless in his current condition; however, his opponent could have possibly assumed that he would just stand there and let the hunk of rock form over him and drop. There was plenty of time between the formation of his foe's attack and the execution. While the rubble and stones shifted towards the center, Zero stopped his energy barrage and jumped out of the way moments after the boulder struck down. The android escaped by the thread of a hair, evading the attack and jumping high into the air.
Unfortunately, that's where Zero failed. Right after avoiding the apparent distraction, his flying opponent rushed in with a solid punch to the face. It was a smart move, he thought. The man's attack didn't only force him to cease the storm of ki blasts, but to withdraw from his corner and out in the open where he could easily strike. Zero's head jerked back to the force of his foe's strength, his body soon sprawling into the ground frantically. With that said, Zero was an agile and skillful fighter. His design was built around aerodynamics, despite lacking the ability to fly, his small and lithe body allowed him to shifted in the air with ease and catch his footing like a feline. Touching ground, his feet anchored over the dry sediment of the graveyard; grinding backwards against his will, his feet are dragged across the battlefield although his composure stands solid and secure.
Immediately after, Zero points his index finger and shoots another round from his pistol, promptly after running in pursuit of the white-haired man.

Zeke had successfully ended the barrage of blasts and caused the man to jump away from the stones before he connected the heavy punch to his opponents face. Distract and act. Zeke would need to change it up now though, his opponent would be looking for a distraction again. Zeke would charge the man head on, watching him slide backward across the field. The man soon took to running, firing off another bolt from his fingers. Zeke would jump the second he heard the bolt discharge and gather Ki onto his right arm as he rose. Then he would rocket down with the Blazing Punch.
This blow had significantly more punch to it than the last one. The blow didn't simply do damage from the punch itself, but the Ki would explode on impact and act like a fully charged energy blast at point blank range. It was enough to obliterate a building easy enough, and would make a fair sized crater should he miss, or hit at an angle in wich the man was pinned to the ground as the blast went off.

Man halts, feet drag to a complete stop, his saber arched and ready as his opponent jumps high into the air. His energy bullet was often tossed around, so having missed his target came to no surprise. Immediately after, Man observes as the white-haired man gathers ki into the right arm. Rippling energy wraps around him, ebullient, and bright enough to rival the simulated sun. The android squint his eyes as the winged man drops down like a torpedo. His red hair flaunting, his blue garments drifting, feet vaulted to the ground and spread for balance and power, Man prepares to swing his blade across and intercept his foe’s attack. The blade clashes with Zeke’s ki infused arm, repelling each other as the other’s attack is redirected towards the ground.
Instantly, the ground flattened all around them. The individual swords which had been standing with the pommel to the sky now lay sideways on the dirt and shattered as the second wave of Zeke’s attack leveled the ground. Disemboweled, the ground caves in, a deep crater and both fighters momentarily suspended midair as a flash of light takes over. The battlefield roars. Powerful winds impregnated by debris force the android to fallback. His arms hover over his face in an effort to keep his vision clear of unwanted noise but the dust raised by Zeke’s attack was much too thick for his eyes to see. The only thing he could manage were the numbers displayed on the corner of his lens which dictated the location of his opponent; shifting to that direction, Zero marches on.
The android lunges out of the dust cloud which promptly after dissipates at his wake. His sword arched, he is prepared to impale his opponent if he is not careful.

With a blinding flash of light, the air roared with a thunderous boom as an earth-shattering shockwave decimated the landscape. The impact repelled Zeke as he, unlike his opponent, had nothing around him to take the recoil of the attack. He spun through the air and hit the ground, bouncing and rolling to a stop. He picked himself up, punching the ground as he did causing it to crack a little. He couldn't see through the dist and he had been grounded. Worse was he could not sense his opponent. Zeke wasn't sure if the man shared that handicap at first, but he was proven wrong when Zeke turned to see him come lunging out of the fog of dust.
Zeke moved to slide off to the side but wasn't fast enough. He took the blade through his right set of ribs. Instantly, Zeke's mind went to counter, as he was trained to, by moving to slam his hilt down on his enemy with one hand as a distraction before grabbing him with his right and lifting him away into the air. He would then turn and throw him with the full force of his body into the ground. That's when he would then worry about the pain and cringe at the feel of the sword impaled inside him, if the man hadn't torn it free somewhere in the last attack.
The man's attack didn't feel as if it had all that much power behind it, but it was the fact that the man could strike from anywhere and always find Zeke that hindered him. All the man had to do was create a diversion, disappear and then swoop in to attack. However that was a common tactic used by the Black Sun Clan that Zeke had been part of, and back then he couldn't sense energy either. Most of them shared that. This man was attacking faster and more efficiently than him though, and it seemed like he was catching on to his moves relatively easy. It was alot like the common A.I of a simulator being able to 'learn' his skill set and counter based off the memorized knowledge. Zeke could not underestimate this man.

The android's energy blade pierced through the man's flesh and skin like a hot knife on butter. Blood splattered and tainted the scorching ground as his opponent was impaled in the right set of his ribs. A hint of surprise if ever as Model Zero would not have expected the battle to end so quickly. Most of the beings he had impaled were much too fragile to continue fighting and none of them were as serious as a blow to the chest. He could only imagine the blood flooding into the man's lungs without filter and he would soon begin to suffocate. However, that was not the case, the winged man promptly slammed the pommel of his blade into Zero's temples. The android's head bogged back in mercy of gravity and momentum, unable to respond as his opponent grabs onto his arms and lifts off the ground. Zero could not fly, so the man was gaining an advantage. Regardless, he still had a sword through his chest and the android remained perplexed as to how he could act so dismissive towards it -unless he was an android too.
High in the air, the winged man jerks around and propels Zero into the ground. The android's keep his grip on the handle of his sword tight and so rips it out of the man's rib-cage, just as he was tossed into the ground. BOOM! the android landed harshly on his back. His eyes closed shut, the ground cratered below him, although it did not take long before he was back on his feet. His opponent's attacks were felt as nothing more than intangible forces making his body perform unintelligible motions that were not of his will. The most that could happen to him is that the red armor hidden by his medieval garments might chip or wear out in the fight. Zero crawls out of the hole in the ground and peers up into the sky with a single hand overhead to shield the sun's rays. He wondered how the winged man was faring now that he had pulled the sword out of his chest and blood could flow out unhindered. However, he had no intention on allowing his opponent to recover. High above the ground, hovering in the air, out of his reach, the android points with the only weapon he has capable of causing damage from such a distance. Pointing his index finger at the man he shoots another energy bullet.
Bang!

He grabbed onto his rib cage and winced at the pain. This was kind-of bullshit in Zeke's mind, usually he was doing the stabbing. He looked at the man on the ground... who was already standing! Did he not feel pain? Zeke had just thrown him into the ground at full force and he just got back up like he was the goddamned Terminator or something. He was holding his hand up at Zeke again...
Zeke knew what he was going to do. He drew his left hand back and threw out a wave of energy towards the man. The energy bullet would be within the blast and wouldn't make it to it's target this time. Zeke wasn't very impressed with the whole gun-thing at all. He wanted to see what the man could do with his sword as he swooped in to follow up on his blast with his sword drawn. He would be aiming to get a stab in on the man as payback.

Model Zero rises from the crater born from his crash landing. Dirt and rubble slide off him as he stands and a strong breeze rushes past him, urging his golden hair to dance with it. The android peers above solemnly with a blank and disinterested gaze offered towards his opponent. The winged being continued to fly, although staggered, he would not last long if he allowed his wounds to bleed out freely. Zero slashed at the wind to cleanse his saber from the blood on his blade; the ground painted with an arc of red, he raised his pistol high -disguised as the bare hands of a medieval warrior in blue garments. The winged being could not see anything more than the simulated man with short red hair and his majestic clothing of a lord. Zero was no lord however, he was the dog of a lord. The android pushed the trigger of his gun and a shot another bullet of compressed energy. The winged man, however, lift his hand into the air and whipped down a wave of ki to retaliate against Zero's bullet. The bullet, although sharp and destructive in nature, it was overwhelmed by the other's attack and driven back to its source. Zero jumped back. The ground where he once stood collapsing onto itself in a blithering explosion of sheer force and power. The gravel crackled and roared, dust and debris polluting the air in which they breathed -he breathed. The android had no need for such primal needs. Peering above, the winged man was soon upon him with his sword. Model Zero, parried that thrust with his blade, deflecting the airborne fighter's onslaught. Immediately, he prepared for the next eminent strike, ready to block and counterattack with his own blade. It was likely they would engage into a deadlock of speed, power, and skill, deflecting each other's attacks one after the other in successive session without any remorse for the other.
